Localisation : Bien situé à l’écart de la Medina sans être trop en dehors de la ville, juste en face de la faculté de médecine. Le plus simple pour se déplacer depuis le riad est le taxi. Il y a environ une demi-heure depuis l’aéroport et 20 minutes pour le centre (Koutoubia). Il y a des arrêts de bus pas loin mais nous n’avons pas testé ce mode de transport. Il y a plusieurs restaurants intéressants aux alentours. Accueil : Le personnel est superbe, un des points fort de ce riad. Accueil chaleureux dès les premiers instants et jusqu’à la fin. Un homme nous a aidé à monter nos valises, une fois il a attendu très tôt avec nous notre chauffeur pour une expédition. Le service est irréprochable. Le ménage est effectué tous les jours vers midi. Chambre : l’espace nuit est un peu petit mais tout à fait suffisant pour une semaine. La literie est un peu dure (pas un problème pour nous mais à savoir), les oreillers sont confortables. Manque un éclairage au plafond car les 2 lampes de chevets n’éclairent pas beaucoup. Il y a quelques rangements et un mini-frigo. La salle de bain est fonctionnelle même si on met facilement de l’eau partout. Les serviettes et tapis de bain sont fournis et changés en même temps que le ménage. Petit-déjeuner : C’est également un point positif de ce riad. Je craignais d’être déçu par rapport à un hôtel classique et ça n’a pas été le cas. Il associe à la fois des produits locaux (harcha, msemmen) et continentaux (petits-pains, omelette, œufs durs, yaourt) servis avec confiture, fromage frais, miel, olives et un jus d’orange plus un café ou un thé si souhaité. C’est donc très complet et copieux. Petit défaut, la mise en route du petit-déjeuner est un peu longue et si vous devez partir tôt (avant 8h), cela peut prendre du temps avant d’être servi. Ambiance : le cadre est magnifique. Dès la porte d’entrée et dans l’ensemble du riad, la décoration est superbe et une odeur envoutante.

Cons: W tej cenie spodziewaliśmy się zdecydowanie lepszego śniadania. Bufet śniadaniowy ograniczał się do kilku bułek, dżemów, herbaty, sałatki owocowej i jajecznicy. Jajecznica była podana w zimnej misce, bez jakiegokolwiek podgrzewania. Byliśmy na śniadaniu około godziny 8:00 i większości z tych pozycji już nie było, a nic nie było uzupełniane. Przez całe 40 minut jedliśmy jedynie resztki, bo obsługa nie dołożyła absolutnie niczego.

Amazing decor, atmosphere and vibe. The breakfast was brilliant and it’s located within a residential area so it’s ideal if you’ve rented a car and prefer to be away from the caos of the city centre.
Cons: The rooms are not insulated against noise so you will likely hear noise from the outside corridor. The hot water reserves are low so i would suggest taking quick showers in order to maintain water levels.

Muy amables. Tubimos que cambiar la fecha de reserva pk no llegamos por el tiempo y lo cambiaron sin problema. Todo bien. Cómodo. Puedes aparcar fácilmente. A 15 min en taxi del centro y 45 minutos a pie. Fuimos en taxi y volvimos dando un paseo. El desayuno muy completo.

Tout était impeccable. L’emplacement est excellent, le riad est magnifique et le personnel est tout simplement incroyable : chaleureux, attentionné et très professionnel. Ils ont même offert une suite à mes parents alors qu’ils avaient réservé une chambre simple, un geste très apprécié. Le petit-déjeuner était au top, varié et délicieux. Une expérience parfaite, je recommande vivement.

Riad Dar Sido is located in a nice and quiet locality. The rooms are very small, but clean. The breakfast is just Ok. The staff are friendly and ready to help. The Riad seems very good from the outside and the surrounding, but inside it is not as expected.
Cons: The Riad is overrated and costly for the facilities they provide. On the 1st night, we struggled to get dinner and the cook went away while we were waiting for food. This was very rude and unprofessional. The rooms are really tiny. The value for money is pretty atrocious. The photos depict some of the higher end rooms and not the standard ones.

Spędziliśmy tutaj z synem dwie spokojne noce. Dostawaliśmy pyszne śniadania, nawet dostosowano się do mojej bezglutenowej diety, co niezwykle doceniam i bardzo za to dziękuję! Personel BARDZO uprzejmy i pomocny. Pokoje dość ciche, obiekt dość ładnie wygląda. Byliśmy w listopadzie więc nie było gorąco, ale było fajnie. Okolica jest oddalona od czegokolwiek, ale my lubimy spacerować i łazić kilometrami. W 10-15min można dojść do mnóstwa restauracji.

Le personnel très accueillant, à l'écoute et toujours prêt à rendre service. Il est facilement possible de planifier son séjour avec l'aide du personnel (activités, hammam, massages). Le cadre est très agréable avec une piscine et une terrasse. Le petit déjeuner est copieux (continental et marocain).
Cons: La localisation n'est pas forcément facile à trouver pour les taxis (il faut bien préciser que le Riad est à proximité de l'hôpital Ibn Tofail).

Generalnie śniadanie wystarczające, a jak się je zje na górnym tarasie, gdzie jest kilka miejsc do wygodnego siedzenia, to wszystko jest cudowne. Cały obiekt i pokoje czyste ładnie urządzone, zawsze sprzątnięte i wymieniona pościel. Łazienka wyposażona we wszystko co potrzebne więc nie trzeba ze sobą zabierać zbędnych butelek. Personel fantastyczny, zawsze uśmiechnięty i bardzo pomocny. Polecam panią masażystkę - jest obłędna - dziękuję za fantastyczny czas. Obiekt położony 20 min pieszo od ogrodu Jardin Majorelle polecam piesze wycieczki. Do mediny ok. 40 minut pieszo, też polecam spacery po mieście, bo można doświadczyć codziennego zgiełku w Marrakech. Polecam to miejsce i dziękuję za wspaniały pobyt.

Fiquei bastante tempo no hotel com minha esposa e ficamos muito satisfeitos. Ponto de destaque é a equipe que trabalha lá: todos muito atenciosos, simpáticos e nos ajudaram muito. O café da manhã também muito bom. O chuveiro tem água bem quente e com pressão (ponto muito positivo). Tem um rooftop bem agradável e dispõe de um spa e piscina.
Cons: O único aspecto que nao levou 10 foi o tamanho do nosso quarto, mas acho que acabamos pegando o menor (tinham outros maiores), mas recomendamos muito esse hotel. Era bem limpo e silencioso, mas tinha pouco espaço além da cama.

The lil courtyard and swimming pool are cute as shown in the picture, the ambiance is good. The staffs are welcoming and helpful. We booked a day trip to Agafay Desert through the hotel with 1200 MAD for 2, somehow we didn’t get the camel ride as planned (not the hotel’s fault ), the hotel handled it responsibly, we received some refunds back.
Cons: The facilities in the room are a bit basic making it looked a bit overpriced, i.e., the water from the shower is slow, no sound insulation so you might hear ppl/birds in the morning.

Nice small hotel with lovely staff who were friendly & helpful. Loved the Moroccan style of the property - from the lovely doors leading into reception area through to the courtyard and enclosed alley leading to our room. There were nice restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: Hot water pressure in our shower was a bit low for a few minutes after opening the tap but then settled. We were however pleasantly surprised to be moved to a much larger room which had a much better hot water flow!

This was my second year in a row staying at Riad Dar Sido, and I’ll definitely be coming back again. During this trip, I also stayed in two other riads inside the medina and honestly, it’s a completely different experience. Riad Dar Sido is on another level: peaceful, private, and far from the chaos of the city center. The staff are incredible. They make you feel completely at ease and give you all the privacy you need. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and the pool is the absolute star of the place, perfect for relaxing after a hot day in Marrakech. Of all the riads I’ve stayed in, this is by far the best in town.

La regadera de nuestra habitación no era óptima pero si funcionaba, les comentamos y un dia después teníamos una super regadera nueva instalada. Pedimos nos prepararán algo especial de cenar y nos llevaron platillo a la habitación. Lugar muy recomendable, acogedor

Everyone was friendly and happy to help. Accommodation was great, comfortable and had everything we needed. The Riad was situated in a great position to all cafes and restaurants but out and away from the busyness of the main Madina, but is an easy taxi drive in. We look forward to returning and using the Riad again. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday a great one.

Cons: The riad is around a 40 minute walk from the central medina however very close to Gueliz (about 5-10 minute walk) which is an area with great restaurants, shops and bars. You can easily get a taxi however to the medina or use Roby (equivalent of uber).

Me and my partner stayed at Riad Dar Sido a couple of weeks back, and might I say, this was the best customer service I have ever experienced. From arrival we were treated with open arms, being offered a refreshing cold towel, which was very much needed after a long sweaty flight. Prior to our arrival in Morocco, many things went wrong and our day was turning into a right nightmare. Our flight got cancelled after sitting on the runway for an hour, our train station was shut, my phone broke and we had to rush to the other side of London to get another flight the next morning. We genuinely thought that our holiday was going to be extremely stressful. However the staff at Riad were extremely nice, caring and went well beyond what they needed to, to make us feel at ease and at home, to help us enjoy our holiday. One of the guys working took my phone to get fixed which saved me hours of endless hunting, what an absolute legend. The chef and his breakfast crew was next level good, filling us right up for the day. The chefs ability to cater us every morning was amazing. The owner and the rest of the team were very helpful with organising us taxis and making sure we were squared away for the day. This place was super tidy, cleanliness was to a high and the pool was nice and refreshing. A 15-20 min walk to the city centre market area, which gave you the nice balance of quietness and liveliness if needed. I would 100% go back.

Le Riad Dar Sido est exactement tel que décrit. Le personnel est à l’écoute et disponible, très gentil, nous avons eu un service impeccable qui n’a fait que rendre meilleure notre visite à Marrakech. Petit déjeuner et déjeuner très bons et copieux, excellent rapport qualité prix, il faut simplement prévoir de payer en espèces car la carte bancaire n’est pas acceptée, comme un peu partout à Marrakech où le cash est privilégié. Si nous devons revenir à Marrakech nous savons où aller ! Merci particulièrement à Ouidad et Mohammed qui ont été d’un excellent accueil.

Hidden gem, I liked the location because I didn't want to be super close to Jamaa lfna but I also liked that it was a 15min drive to most touristy places in Marrakech. I value cleanliness and security, and Riad Dar Sido didn't disappoint. What made a difference for me and my Mom is the staff, they went above and beyond. I highly recommend this place, we will most definitely come back to this Riad and I will be recommending it to my family and friends.

Cons: Our room had a door leading to another room and you could hear the other guests as if they were in the same room with us. It wasn’t very nice and it didn’t feel like we had privacy. I guess the other room felt the same way about us. Also the extra bed was broken and therefore uncomfortable because the mattress was going through the bed frame.

The decorations, the pool, everything about this place is just so tranquil and relaxing. It was incredible! We absolutely adored the rooftop terrace, it was lush to see the sunset on the roof of an evening. The staff are all lovely and helpful, I would go back to this riad 100000% if and when we go back to Morocco. The room was perfect couldn't grumble at anything.

Cons: When booking through booking.com you are guaranteed a price for a room. This price is on your confirmation. However, this property then charged me at a higher rate when I arrived. This was significantly above the rate on my confirmed booking. They claimed this was due to fluctuations in currency but this cannot account for the significant different in cost. I raised this with booking.com who made the property refund me. In short, this property is running a scam. Avoid it

Room itself was just fine. Classical hotel room with spacious bed for two, nice and clean bathroom and enough space for shorter stay. Ambien of this riad is something else. Common areas and backyard are truly amazing. You can easily get into your White Lotus role :D They have nice little pool, great common area with chairs and amazing decor. Breakfast is also decent, you don't get classical continental breakfast, but rather it is being served for you. Eggs, ham, marmalade, butter, breakfast pastry, orange juice and etc. Location is not super close to the city center, but it is close to the YSL museum and taxi is pretty affordable. Staff was really nice and friendly.
Cons: Bed mattress in this room was pretty firm, so if you don't like that or have some back issues, keep that in mind. Rest of it was really good.

the riad was beautiful - the rooms were fabulous (we stayed in two different rooms as we decided to extend for an extra night, both were great) the pool was clean, it was lovely. they even had a little tortoise wandering around! it’s a nice area as it’s quiet and not busy around, and is a 15/20 minute walk to get to the busier areas. the lady (i’m assuming a manager) was so lovely and so helpful, and although we didn’t speak french and he didn’t speak english, the man (again, assuming a manager) was so lovely and kind also.

Le riad est situé dans un quartier en dehors de la médina, ce qui permet de profiter du calme mais il faut prendre un taxi pour rejoindre le centre ville (en une dizaine de minutes). Le petit déjeuner est bon et copieux.

The staff happily arranged airport shuttles to and from the Riad, and were helpful throughout our stay. A few things to note… although the Riad lists 2 Reataurants, we were advised on arrival before midday, that the chef had left early. We were directed to some restaurants within 5 minutes easy walk and found ly one was open during our week long stay, however, there are a great selection of other restaurants in the same area, so this was in the end not a problem and offered more variety. The roof terrace was being worked on intermittently during our stay, so was not useable a couple of times. The room we were in was on the ground floor, with windows opening onto the reception and near the restaurant area, so a lot of general noise was heard early in the morning. The room itself was nice and spacious, but I would suggest trying to get a room on the first or second floor for more peace/quiet, and sun/fresh air. We had a great time and were happy with our stay. I only mention the above to help anyone when booking here. Although outside the old city/medina/souks, it is only an easy, level 30 mins walk away, with a Carrefor Supermarket with 10 mins walk if supplies are needed.

Nous avons été déçues par la chambre qui était au sous-sol de l’établissement donc sans aucune lumière. Très dérangeant pour nous, nous avons demandé plusieurs fois le changement de chambre ! Le petit-déjeuner est quant à lui correct.

The staff went out of their way to greet us every morning and when we returned from a day out. Very attentive and good advice. We enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle of the Medina and it is an easy, flat walk into both the new town and Medina areas. Breakfast was great too.

Cons: We have stayed in a few places in Marrakech now Riads and Hotels so booked this place as it was in an area we hadn't stayed before. We chose a Riad as it is usually a bit more personal than a hotel but it didn't provide the same atmosphere and hospitality that other Riad's we've stayed in have. We were waiting over half an hour to check in, whilst we were sat there literally about 100 people came in through the entrance (not sure if there was an event on the rooftop) but if we were using the rooftop this could have been annoying. We missed our flight the day we should have gotten there so turned up the day after (we informed them of this) - but were still told we had to wait 20 minutes for our room to be ready (even though it should have been ready for the day before) Breakfast wasn't great and took a while to be served and the music was too loud. The bathroom wasn't that clean

The check-in process smooth as expected with serving MINT TEA. However, the staff was accommodating, and the room was comfortable. Looking forward to visit next time! Cons: Im Bad hat es übel nach Kanal gerochen. Ich gabe es bei der Rezeption angemerkt. Es wurde gesagt, dass man sich darum kümmere. War aber nur eine Floskel, nichts ist geschehen. Dürfte bekannt sein. Von der Strasse her viel Lärm, da die Fenster nicht dicht sind, bzw. auch nur aus einer einfachen Scheibe bestehen. Das Frühstück wird serviert, sehr freundliches Personal. Es variiert nur das Ei-Gericht. Sonst leider jeden Tag das selbe. Einen bereits gebuchten Ausflug über das Internet wollte man mir ausreden, es sei keine Qualität. Dafür wollte man mir im Hotel einen Ausflug um den 4-fachen Preis anbieten mit dem selben Angebot. Habe ich dankend abgelehnt. Sehr unsympathisch diese Anbiederung und versuchte Ausbeutung.

We enjoyed having breakfast, served from a very pleasant and friendly garcon, in a beautiful atmosphere. All the stuff were very polite, cheerful and helpful. Many thanks especially to the receptionist. The Riad was in a nice, quiet neighborhood with many restaurants in walking distance. We loved sitting by the small pool, decorated in a traditional way, enjoying a cup of coffee.

Celle-ci par ailleurs peu équipée: même pas un porte-manteau pour mettre une serviette ou un vêtement. Elle est très sombre: les volets intérieurs s'ouvrant très peu. La 2e nuit, 5 jours plus tard, nous avions pris une chambre supérieure. Elle se trouve près de la piscine au rez de chaussée. A 2h30, nous avons été réveillés par de coups de marteau qu'on pensait venir de l'extérieur du Riad: mais non, c'était un employé faisant des réparations autour de la piscine. Je suis sortie pour lui donner mon avis sur le fait de faire des travaux en pleine nuit à côté d'une chambre et il m'a simplement dit qu'il avait presque terminé et il a continué encore 10 minutes; A peine croyable . Si on rajoute que le frigidaire dans la chambre fait un bruit incroyable, je laisse imaginer la nuit que nous avons passée...

The location is away from the Medina (about 20 min walk) but perfect for our needs as we were hiring a motorbike and going off from Marrakech. We stayed at this hotel on the way back as well and Riad Dar Sido Kindly stored our big suitcases until we returned. Would stay here again and highly recommend for a quieter Marrakech experience

Petit déjeuner très complet et succulent. Hammam et massage proposé sur place sont de bon rapport qualité-prix. Formule repas copieuse et sublime. Manque une bouilloire dans la chambre.
Cons: Vérifier juste les prix des activités que vous souhaitez faire sur internet, elle seront moins chères que celle proposées par le riad. Pour exemple on a payé 600 D pour l'excursion de la vallée de l'ourika avec en plus le guide et le repas a payer, alors que d'autres personnes du groupe n'avaient payé que 250 D avec le repas et le guide compris.

I really enjoyed our stay at this Riad. We stayed 2 nights at the start of a break, hiring motorbikes locally. We then toured Morocco and the Sahara Desert and returned for the last night. Riad Dar Sido were really great and held our suitcases while we were touring for about 9 days. The Riad was perfect for our needs and we knew that it was away from the centre/Medina. It's still an easy walk to visit the centre but this Riad is in a quieter part of Marrakech with lots of choices of restaurants and shops close by. The rooms were fantastic on both visits, the staff are friendly and accommodating and breakfast was ample - bread, yogurt, omelette and tea/coffee. Lovely little seating areas and a roof top balcony with lovely seating too. Clean rooms and a hot shower. Perfect for our needs with safe street parking out the front. Would highly recommend and would certainly stay here again

One word - amazing! We arrived late after midnight and Abdel was waiting for us. He carried our bags and quickly checked us in. The location is perfect, very close to the centre but in a well developed and quiet street. We loved it as we didn't want to stay within the noisy streets of Medina. The taxi from here to medina costs 39 dirhams (3 USD /Eur) maximum, day and night. We initially got a room underground (deluxe double) but when I politely asked to change, Wadeed at the reception immediately upgraded us to a suite on the 2nd floor. The rooms are very spacious, clean and look exactly like the pictures. Bathroom was nice and had fresh towels. Running hot water all the time. Some people complain about the water pressure but this is the case everywhere in Morocco as the plumbing in the city are 100 years old, didn't bother us at all. Breakfast area, terrace, lounge chair perfect for relaxing after a long day. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. Staff are amazing - Abdel, Hassan and specially Wadeed, always with a smile and will look after you. Only one thing that bothered us just a little a bit was the sound insulation, you can hear people in the room next to you but again this is very common in the riads. We were just quiet at night so we didn't disturb the neighbours and they were also very respectful and didn't make any noise. If I come back to Marrakesh, I will stay with them in a heartbeat <3

Een fijne plek voor het ontbijt wat geserveerd wordt door heel attent personeel. Tevens is de jongen welke ons in de avond ontving erg vriendelijk. Helaas spreekt hij geen Engels en kon een misverstand over de prijs hierdoor niet opgelost worden. Het hotel heeft mooie kamers maar ook slechte kamers. Mijn vriendin had een slechte vochtige kamer maar dit werd na 1 nacht opgelost door haar een andere kamer te geven.
Cons: De communicatie met het hotel bij vragen/problemen. Hierdoor komt er geen gepaste oplossing. Ik had bijvoorbeeld voor 1 persoon een kamer gereserveerd via Booking, met een totaal te betalen bedrag bij aankomst. Bij aankomst werd er meer gerekend en daar was niets meer aan te doen. Ik had een duidelijk prijs afgesproken, maar werd door het hotel naar Booking verwezen, het zou een fout zijn bij Booking.

Absolutely wonderful. Undoubtedly the best place we stayed in Morocco. Fabulous blend of old Riad and contemporary design. Lots of lovely touches. Beautiful room. Great outdoor spaces around pool and roof terraces. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. And, a breakfast to die for. Area around is quite quiet and it's a bit of a walk to the main parts of the Ville Nouvelle (but flat and safe) and there are some nice restaurants much closer. And only a short walk to the beautiful Jardin Marjorelle. Highly recommend if you want to stay in this part of Marrakech.

Location is outside of the centre but it was perfect for us; quiet, felt safe, secluded and a short taxi ride to the centre. There are many restaurants and stores a short walk away. The suite we stayed in was spacious and clean. When we had an issue with our rainfall shower, it was fixed the very next day. Really friendly accommodating staff; always helpful, smiling and approachable. Great breakfast that we looked forward to every morning! Great decor. Pool was clean and even on the cooler days, it was nice to relax on the sun loungers. We didn’t drive but there is parking on the road for those who do. We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again if and when we come back :) thank you! (I would upload more photos if it allowed me to)

The people are very warm and friendly. Huge Bollywood fans. The Riad we stayed in was amazing. They were so lovely. Organised all our tours so all were with guides. It's a spectacular ✨️ holiday. Never had so much fun. We did quad bikes in the dessert, camel rides, mountain trek, beginner surfing lessons in Agadhir and sunset yoga. The food is delish. The owners and staff at the Riad were the Best. Did everything to make it such a memorable holiday. The location is nice and quiet. We also went for a morning run. Some lovely restaurants near the Riad and local shops. Very peaceful stay with great hamams and massage too. It's not far from YSL and also the souks.

We wanted to be near Jardin Majorelle and it was perfect for that. The staff we dealt with could not have been nicer. We had a late flight. They stored our bags for us and gave us the use of the facilities for the hours after checkout and our flight. The breakfast was the nicest we had during our 8 days in Morocco
Cons: Nothing. I could not fault this Riad.

Die Anlage und das Zimmer sind sehr schön gestaltet. Das Personal ist freundlich.
Cons: Das Frühstück war zwar ausreichend aber geschmacklich nur ok. Unser Zimmer war nur durch eine dünne Tür vom Nebenzimmer getrennt, wir haben also jedes Wort voneinander gehört. Außerdem war die Poolanlage nachts sehr laut und das Bett sehr hart.

Cons: La ducha no era placentera por tener la alcachofa rota y esto hacía que se encharcase medio baño. El desagüe del lavabo estaba atascado. El check in a la llegada algo confuso. No nos dijeron que había que dejar la llave en recepción para su limpieza y el primer día no nos hicieron el cuarto.

We had a great time! The Riad is away from the crowd and traffic yet easy to access the main city by walking a few mins. It was calm and peaceful. The staff were so humble and ready to help us with all our requests to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Cons: The food prices seemed quite high at the property. The room could have had a full sized mirror. Other than that all was fine :)

The hotel made sure that we get the best service and we did. The breakfast was always fresh and with varied choices. The hotel has a lovely ambience. It was a good worth of the price.

Nous avions une immense suite. Elle était très belle et décorée avec goût. Tout l'établissement est dailleurs décoré avec goût. Le riad est situé en face de la fac de médecine. Le quartier est très calme. Il y a de nombreux restaurants à 500 mètres. Il y a une petite piscine et 4 transats. Il n'y a pas de jardin. Il y a une terrasse rooftop très sympa. L'emplacement était parfait. Nous avons tout fait à pieds (15 minutes du jardin de Majorelle, 50 minutes de la place jemaa al fna. Le veilleur de nuit est très gentil et serviable. La communication avec l'hôtel est facile. Ils répondent rapidement aux messages.
Cons: La dame de l'accueil n'est pas du tout sympathique (ceci n'engage que nous). Le monsieur qui sert le petit déjeuner est aimable mais il est super lent et n'écoute pas le client. Plus de 10 minutes d'attente chaque jour avant d'être servis. Les tables n'étaient pas débarrassées directement. Cela donnait une impression de "laisser-aller". Le petit-déjeuner est pour 80% le même chaque matin. On se lasse vite... Mais c'était bon. Dans la salle de bains, il n'y avait pas de tub de douche et le WC était situé juste en face: sol glissant et dangereux.... Une des télévisions de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas. L'autre télévision fonctionnait mais Il n'y avait qu'une chaîne française (tv5).

The outdoor and common area was nice. It could have been a great stay if they didn't offer basement rooms.
Cons: 1. We didn't get the room we ordered. I specifically ordered the standard room which would have been on the 1st/2nd floor having read previous reviews about the larger room in the cellar being problematic. 2. Hosts decided to 'upgrade' us (without informing us until we arrived) to the cellar room arguing that this room was nicer and that the other rooms had technical issues. However, it's quite obviously a downgrade for reasons I will explain (and others have complained about in previous reviews). 3. The room is claustrophobic with very small windows looking up to the patio where a neighbour sits to smoke in very bright lights. It gives the feeling of being trapped in a dungeon or cell with a guard. 😅 4. The neighbour was a chain smoker and given the position of his patio the smoke filled our room whenever we had the window open (which we needed because of the poor ventilation and heat trapment down there). 5. Constant noise from the neighbours patio and staff kitchen - last time the neighbours smoked and spent time there was 2 AM! We slept a good 4 hours. 6. For all these challenges, the staff did AT NO TIME offer any solution nor compensation. There was no proper apology either. The only solution was to cancel our stay for a full reimbursement and go to the 'hostel' next door - IT WAS 11 PM at that time so we obviously didn't. Listen. If we would have known about the 'upgrade' at any earlier time of the day before our arrival, we would gladly have cancelled the stay immediately and found another solution ourselves in a timely manner. One more thing. We had requested early breakfast at 7.45 in advance because we had to leave early for which the host said it was no problem. We got breakfast only at 8.10 (!) and it was only by luck that we made our next plans.

Cons: I booked this place seeing the reviews. If I add 50 more i could book 5 star hotel. I am not so sure if it is worth it. We booked a superior double, the photos here are misleading, you have no balcony or access to courtyard as shown. The rooms are extremely poorly sound insulated. Our room had a door going into a different room, which is locked but it’s very uncomfortable to hear every move of the people from the next room.

The staff are very friendly, polite and caring - Oidad, Rashid, Abdillah and Hasan thank you for making our stay even better. The cleaning service is exceptional, they clean our room daily and changed the towels also daily. The location is not bad, it takes no more than 10 minutes to the centre driving/taxi and around 45min walking. It was quiet and we couldn’t complain of any noice. The rooms are well decorated and the size is normal (we stayed in room Zagora - ground floor). We had breakfast included - it was the same concept every day but done differently, we liked that, also they had some traditional bakery, everything was very delicious. Also they have some traditional cookies that they offer with coffee and tea - we loved it. If we come back in Marrakech we will definitely stay again here!
Cons: If they had some brochures with local sightseeing would be really good.

Das Personal war extrem freundlich, die Zimmer super sauber und die Pool Anlage sehr einladend. Wir sind gegen Mittag angereist und uns wurde noch Frühstück zubereitet. Wir durften auch früher einchecken. Am nächsten Tag haben wir das Frühstück verschlafen, aber das Personal war so lieb, uns doch noch ein vollständiges Frühstück zu servieren. Au bord de la piscine on entend énormément le passage des voitures, et dans les chambres... la nôtre communiquait avec celle d'à côté dont un groupe de filles parlait normalement et on les entendait comme si elles étaient à côté de nous. Impossible de dormir on a acheté des boules quies pour la 2e nuit. Dans la salle de bain l'eau de la douche passait sous les rebords et ça coulait dans la chambre. La chambre était grande mais pas lumineuse, malgré 2 fenêtres avec des volets à l'intérieur dont l'ouverture était bloquée par les rideaux.

Par où commencer, mon séjour dans le Riad Dar Sido a dépassé toutes mes attentes, dès mon arrivée j'ai été accueillie avec une chaleur et une hospitalité qui m'ont fait sentir speciale et choyée. Le Riad est un petit cocon de tranquillé niché au coeur de la médina, le juste mileu entre calme, charme traditionnel et confort moderne, la proximité du centre. Chambre spacieuse, décorée avec goût, petit déjeuner varié et personnel aux petits soins sont quelque uns des nombreux points positifs de cette expérience. Extement touchée par la gentillesse du personnel avec une mention particulière pour la la gérante du Riad Ouidad, véritable ange ... une seule hâte y retourner.
Cons: Globalement la seule chose que je n'ai pas appécié est que mon séjour n'a pas pu se prolonger autant que j'aurais souhaité. Etablissement récent et mené par une équipe jeune et dynamique, ils ne manqueront pas d'en faire une référence à Marrakech dans les mois à venir.

J'ai aimé le quartier qui est calme et loin de l'agitation de Marrakech. Pour se rendre dans la ville, c'est facile avec les taxis (prendre un taxi avec le compteur pour éviter les mauvaises surprises ou bien demander un taxi auprès du personnel du Riad). Il y a des commerces à proximité ( restaurants, boutiques etc). Le personnel est gentil et agréable, on se sent bien dans le Riad, et mention Spéciale pour Madame Ouidad qui est très à l'écoute des clients, elle a été présente tout au long de mon séjour et m'a bien conseillé. Et elle a surtout pris en compte mes besoins. Elle est professionnelle et bienveillante et je tiens à la remercier particulièrement pour son travail. Restez comme vous êtes ! Le petit déjeuner est bon, et avec la chaleur, il est servi dans une salle avec la clim donc un moment agréable chaque matin. Très belle expérience, un cadre magnifique, décoré avec goût et des matériaux nobles. Une climatisation silencieuse..ça c’est du luxe :) Tout l'équipement était fonctionnel : internet, tv, frigo..etc. Chambre très propre et nettoyée tous les jours. Chambre Rabat ! Un accueil chaleureux avec du thé a la menthe et des biscuits. Petit déjeuner varié. Piscine en cohérence avec le cadre. Véhicule stationné à l'entrée du Riad. Bien situé, à 1.3 km de Gueliz, 2.7 km.de Jemaa el Fna. Et surtout quartier calme le soir..vrai régal après la.folie Marrakchi. A proximité si besoin pharmacie, restaurant etc Vraiment Bravos !

Pequeno almoço espetacular. Staff muito atencioso. O hotel não estava muito cheio, tivemos um upgrade! Não fica perto do centro (não dá muito para ir a pé), mas 5-10 minutos de taxi.

The location is quiet and away from city rush. I easily walked from the train station. Breakfast was simple but plenty. The terrace had great views of sunrise and sunsets. The traditional designs were calming and homly.

De tudo! Sem dúvida a melhor estadia em Marraquexe é num Riad, e não posso deixar de aconselhar o Dar Sido. A limpeza, a simpatia e disponibilidade do staff, o pequeno almoço (tipico, sem buffet ou seja, servido à mesa, e muito bom!), a piscina...tivemos o nosso voo cancelado, o que obrigou a mais uma noite extra (já fora de horas), e a simpatia e disponibilidade foi total! Ajudaram a resolver tudo, desde taxis, impressão dos boarding pass, etc... a palavra que temos é de agradecimento total, por tudo e pela amabilidade com que fomos recebidos. Aconselhamos a todos os amigos este Riad.
Cons: Vou anotar aqui, pois para alguns viajantes isto pode ser um "senão", mas não que não tenha gostado, antes pelo contrario...falo da localização. Ao ser um pouco mais afastado da Medina, "obriga" a utilizar taxi (5€ cada viagem até à medina em 10 min). Por referência, a pé até aos Jardins Secrets (e Museu YSL) foram 15 min. Contudo, ao ser numa zona habitacional, permitiu ter um contacto diferente com a cultura marroquina, pois acabámos por ter algumas refeições na zona (fora da zona turistica), muito boas, a preços muito económicos (5€ por pessoa), o que para nós foi bastante positivo!. Em resumo, o que poupamos na estadia podemos ter que gastar em taxi ou não (lembro que cada viagem até à medina sao apenas 5€, contudo, não sei se teriamos tido o conforto e as experiências que tivemos se tivessemos ficado hospedados noutro Riad.

La atención es muy buena, el desayuno muy rico y el area de la piscina está super bien. Como había poca gente nos subieron el tipo de habitación de manera gratuita. La zona es muy tranquila y tienes buenas opciones de comida cercana.
Cons: El aire acondicionado no tenía mucha potencia y/o no alcanzaba bien la temperatura deseada. Además el aparato estaba un poco lejos de la cama por lo que llegaba un momento que sufrías bastante calor dentro del cuarto. Aunque la zona es buena y tranquila, para visitar la Medina y todo el centro, tendrías que andar mucho o coger taxi.

The space is beautifully designed, the staff go out of their way to make sure you are well looked after, always smiling. Rooftop breakfast was great. We tried the Hammam + Massage and it was well worth it! Would highly recommend.

Loved the modern facilities with traditional architectural features. Beautiful comfy huge beds. Great shower. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Breakfasts were good and hearty. Pool area was small but a welcome addition. Easy to get a bus or taxi to Gueliz or to old town.
Cons: Thought the cost of evening meal we had one evening in the riad was overpriced.

The location was very calm and accessible by car. The room was so beautiful, clean and spacious. I was worried that because the room was on the ground floor that it would be noisy but not at all. Younes and his staff were all so nice and helpful during our stay, special mention to the breakfast staff who made the mornings sweet and joyful. We also appreciated the fact that every time we needed a taxi, someone from the Riad would call one for us (Ask for Habib 🤗). We were almost sad to leave. I will definitely come back.

Le charme du lieu, le personnel, le petit-déjeuner avec une mention particulière pour la personne qui nous servait qui était au TOP.
Cons: Le bruit dans notre chambre... entre le frigo qui fait un bruit d'enfer toute la nuit que nous avons fini par débrancher et les voisins (chambre communicantes) que nous entendons comme si nous étions avec eux et ceux qui rentrent tard et qui n'ont aucun respect pour les autres.... honnêtement nous avons très peu dormis pendant notre séjour ce qui l'a rendu très compliqué à la fin... Il faut vraiment revoir votre isolation car c'est horrible. S'agissant du SPA, veuillez noter que c'est pour une personne à la fois. Nous avions réservé un SPA complet (savon noir, gommage, massage à deux) nous l'avons fait l'un après l'autre et attendons dans le couloir. Pour 70 €/personne j'aurai voulu être prévenue et nous serions allés en ville. Dommage.

L’accueil était parfait, ils sont arrangeant et pleins de services. Merci encore. La piscine était top, la décoration typique et le petit déjeuné parfait. Ma chambre est propre, salle de bain spacieuse et douche à l’italienne. Très bien.
Cons: Très difficile de trouver ce qui ne va pas. Je dirais que nous pouvons entendre parfois les gens dans le couloir mais rien de bien grave. C’était assez rare.

The staff was amazing! They helped us with everything we needed from calling taxis, helping us navigate the area and made our little one feel extra welcome! The chicken tajine we had was one of our favourites on the trip! The Riad is in a quieter area but it is walkable to the strip with all major restaurants.

Decor, location, staff. Staff were amazing, super helpful with everything we needed. Recommendations, reservations, cabs.. it turned out that being outside of Medina was actually perfect. We got to experience a bit more of a local setting, less touristy, more low key. Perfect.
