The host, Abdul, is very welcoming! The room and atmosphere is really cosy. Also there is always somebody if you need any help. Because of the location, we were able to discover Marrakech well! Besides that, a nice view on the roof top to start or end your day.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Marrakesh - this is the place! Our stay was truly memorable. The peaceful ambiance and excellent location made it easy to relax and enjoy everything the city has to offer. The warm welcome from the staff made it one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Everyone was incredibly attentive and kind, creating a genuinely comforting atmosphere. The space felt friendly and relaxing just like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakesh.

When we arrived we were immediately pleased by the warm welcome of the staff, who continued to be very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The Riad is located in a quiet neighbourhood only a 10 minute walk away from the central square in the old town. The room was really nice, clean and equipped with well working airconditioning. Every morning we got a freshly made, large breakfast with sweet and savoury options, accompanied by Moroccan tea or coffee. We really felt at home!

Stunning stay in a traditional riad. The location was great! Very close to the Koutoubia Mosque (take ear plugs as you do hear calling for the prayers), Jemaa el-Fnaa square and El Badi Palace to name a few. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, in particular Ibrahim and Abdul and breakfast was a delight. Easy to walk everywhere with no problems, but if needed a taxi you just had to venture onto the street and there was a taxi rank there.
Cons: Maybe the towels could do with renewing. The decor is so lovely it would be a nice finish to the room. But they didn't bother us.

The riad was pleasantly quiet and a place to collect ourselves after the busy days of wandering around Marrakech. The breakfast was always delicious and had many traditional Moroccan breads. The pool was an added bonus and improved an already fantastic stay. The bathroom and shower were faultlessly clean and handsome. The staff were very friendly and happy to give advice. It really made the trip staying here! I would fully recommend this riad!
Cons: There's really nothing that speaks against this Riad!

Clean, conveniently located (walking distance and within 10-15 minutes of the main square, palace and souks) Friendly staff and good breakfast
Cons: Slight smell from the shower drain (though this sends to be common in Marrakesh). They gave us a plug/cover for the shower drain which helped though.

I stayed for two nights as a solo female traveller. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. The room was immaculate, bed was so comfy and the shower was nice and hot. The breakfast was amazing and very filling. It was easy to find the Riad too and I had the perfect break. Some people mentioned noise from Prayers but I found it no issues at all. Would recommend for sure. Thank you

The Riad is an exquisitely decorated and homely place situated in an authentically Moroccan neighbourhood that mostly serves locals. It is, in my opinion, the perfect place to be - as you have many storefronts that you can buy water and other basic necessities from, and for the same price that the locals pay. Additionally, it is perhaps the safest area in Marrakesh as it is situated directly across from one of the largest police installations we encountered in Morocco. This super location was minutes away from the lovely Kasbah and Mellah districts, and only a few more minutes away from the Koutoubia Masjid, Djamma El-Fna, and the souks. Despite being surrounded by hustle and bustle, the Riad was remarkably quiet and completely devoid of the noise that permeates much of the city. From the rooftop terrace, one can look out at the palm-tree lined skyline and admire the Koutoubia Mosque’s minaret, listen to the beautiful idhan (call to prayer), and catch some of the most brilliant sunsets available on Earth. If you’re keen and patient, you might even catch a glimpse of the wild peacocks that roam the grounds just in front of the Riad! From the moment we entered the Riad, Ibrahim, Murad, and Abdelhaleem all made us feel as if we were guests not in a hotel, but in their homes. The homeliness of the Riad was increased by the presence of numerous cats who lived on the property and were taken care of by guests and staff. The staff, namely those mentioned above and also Asmaa’, did a great job of attending to our every need and providing us with anything that we asked for. The beds were comfortable, the showers clean and apt, and the A/C was a godsend on the many hot days we spent in Marrakesh. Suffice to say, the amenities leave you wanting for nothing. The Riad was really epitomized by the kindness, friendliness, and downright perfect hospitality of the staff.

Lovely small Riad, easy to find and a short walk from centre. Our deluxe room was spacious, with a comfy bed and working air conditioner. The staff were really helpful and friendly, providing excellent service and advice. We had a meal in the Riad on our first evening which was delicious and good value. Breakfast was plentiful and filling and they were kind enough to prepare a pack up on the day we left early for a trip. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: The roof terrace was smaller than it appeared on the photos and only had one sun lounger versus the 4 shown in the photos. It was a nice space to enjoy breakfast and could be improved if the washing was placed elsewhere to dry and a few more sun loungers to enjoy the late sun after a day sightseeing. We booked a Hammam and relaxing massage for our day of arrival, but were disappointed as it felt somewhat amateurish.

I had a little trouble finding the place at first but when I texted them for help, it was handeled so quickly and I really appreciated it. I was greated so well with some tea and explainations of the old Medina. The man working was very helpful, helped with getting my bags to my room. Breakfast was very good, the Riad is gorgeous and the room was very clean. I was so comfy I wish I would've booked a longer stay. Thank you for everything :)

The main staff member we saw was polite. The location was good, although very close to a large mosque so the call to prayer was particularly loud.
Cons: We booked the ‘deluxe suite’, although this is essentially just a large room, so I think mislabelled. In other, cheaper, riads, we have had better facilities, including private living room space and larger communal spaces. When we arrived the towels on our bed were damp, we exchanged them but the new towels still smelt odd. There had been some rain but I’m not sure that is an excuse for wet towels in our room. The sheets also did not feel clean. The room was on the ground floor and you can hear everything (and I guess everyone can hear you), so not good if you want privacy or are not a deep sleeper. Breakfast was fine but the cake, pancake etc were quite dry. Taxi to the airport was expensive. Does not look as nice as the photos in person, it seems a little run down. Not sure how it has so many great reviews. There are definitely cheaper and more pleasant Riads in Marrakesh.

A traditional riad which is a must-do and unique experience when you're in Marrakesh. Beautifully decorated, with a cozy feeling, it felt like living in someone's home. The rooms are surprisingly big, with very comfortable beds, and people working in the riad (Ibrahim) are extremely welcoming and nice, and dedicated to making your stay as pleasant as possible. Located in a quiet area just outside of the medina, it was the perfect location to escape the noise and bustle in the heart of the city. A very generous breakfast is being served each morning and you can have lunch or dinner by request - the food is absolutely amazing!
Cons: Just like when living in someone's home, you can hear everything going on inside. Access to the rooms is from the inner courtyard but this is typical for any riad. It didn't bother us too much as we knew what to expect and all guests are pretty much aware of this, so everyone kept a low volume. Bring your earplugs and you should be fine.

Three reasons why you should stay in this riad: Hospitality 💚 You are part of a much smaller guest list and made to feel like the only ones! Authentic 💚 Experiencing life as a local (or close to it) is something you can’t get in a hotel. Greenery 💚 Bringing the outside in is always a bonus and being surrounded by greenery is so pleasant! Riad Lalla Mimouna 🛖 such a wonderful experience to stay in a riad instead of hotel. We felt like home away from home and were made so welcome by the staff and other guests. Relaxing in the courtyard was so peaceful and made you forget you were in the middle of a desert! 🤣 Cannot praise the staff enough and hope very much that we will be back again some day. 🙌 🫶🏻💚 Thank you Ibrahim, Abdul and Almaria for your exceptional hospitality and kindness! We had the best stay here at the Riad Lalla Mimouna. The riad is beautiful, we were in the Royal suite which was gorgeous and there was a view out our window overlooking the courtyard on the lower floor. Our host Abdul was absolutely amazing and attended to our every need, it felt like coming home every evening and he was always there to greet us with a smile on his face! The location is great, its a 15 minute walk from the Riad to the Jeema El Fna square and there are many taxis & small shops available down the street. Although being close to the chaos of the main square, the riad was nice and peaceful and a great place to relax after a busy day exploring the souqs. The rooftop terrace was a great way to unwind and get some sun. The jacuzzi pool was an added bonus, although a bit chilly but perfect for the hot days! It was spotlessly clean & the food was amazing. We had dinner here 2 nights and it was some of the best food we had eaten in Marrakech. The breakfast each morning was lovely, we had plenty to eat which kept us full all day, it was lovely to sit on the rooftop terrace listening to the birds as we ate our breakfast. We booked the Quad biking excursion with the Riad which included the transfer there & back. We were impressed with the professionalism of the trip and it was good value for money. It was a 2hour quad ride with a 30 min stop in a small village for some mint tea & snacks. We were the only two on the excursion so felt like a private tour of the Afagay Desert! There are lots of different trips to chose from and I’d recommend booking with the Riad as opposed to another touring company. Its a little more expensive but worth it in my opinion. The bed was super comfortable and the shower facilities were good & there was also a mini fridge which was handy to keep our water cold. I would highly recommend this Riad to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Marrakech. We absolutely loved it and were very sad to leave.
Cons: Nothing, we loved it! One thing to note for light sleepers-there are a few mosques close to the Riad and the call to prayer woke us up at 6:30am each morning but we didn’t find this to be a problem- its all part of the experience! There was also a smell from the drains that wafted into our room and the rooftop terrace but it didn’t bother us too much.

We enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop in the sun. We will definitely go back to stay in this beautiful Riad .

We had a wonderful stay at Lalla Mimouna Riad and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The entire team was welcoming and customer-oriented, with Ibrahim standing out for his helpfulness and honesty. He was always there to assist us with any questions or concerns, making our stay all the more comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast was nice, and the food overall was quite good. While you can get burgers or pizza delivered if you prefer, we recommend trying the local tajines—they were flavorful and a nice way to experience the local cuisine. We also booked several tours through the riad and were very pleased with the experience. Although the booking agency was slightly more expensive, we found it to be worth the cost due to the professionalism and care they provided, ensuring we always felt safe and well looked after. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. Omar and the rest of the staff were also fantastic, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay at Lalla Mimouna Riad again!

Riad Lalla Mimouna is a beautiful and welcoming place in the heart of the old medina in Marrakech. The light blue wooden door invites you into a peaceful retreat filled with Moroccan charm. Inside, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, with lovely embroidery on the sheets and towels. The rooftop is a highlight, offering stunning views of the Koutoubia Mosque. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. And ofcourse the breakfast every morning. What truly makes this riad special is the hospitality of Brahiem, Hassan, and Hafsa. They go out of their way to make you feel at home, always ready to help with a smile. Their kindness and attention make your stay feel extra special. Riad Lalla Mimouna isn’t just a place to stay—it's a memorable experience, where you feel cared for in every way. I want to recommend this place for whoever travels to Marrakech and wants to be welcomed like you are part of the Lalla Mimouna-family.

We absolutely loved our stay! Ibrahim was so helpful and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the roof terrace with pool access was perfect for the hot days! Amazing location just a short walk away from lots of delicious restaurants and fun things to explore.

The location allows for walkable exploration. The Rooftop was peaceful and a sight of the nearby masque. My room was comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was fit for royalty, dinner was excellent and your host Mr. Brahim will take good care of you. There are plenty of guards around if you are concerned for safety. Mr. Brahim scheduled all of my excursions and transportation to the airport which all were an experience and memorable. Marrakech is a lively community but once you arrive to your home away from home it is silent, calm, and peaceful.
Cons: Water was slow to drain in shower but not a big deal.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Lalla Mimouna. The breakfast/dinner was amazing and all the staff were really friendly and super polite. We would like to especially thank Ibrahim who always had a smile on his face and was ready to cater to any request. The Riad is simply stunning, in a perfect location, not far from the centre as well as so peaceful at night. We would definitely recommend this Riad.
Cons: For us the experience was a 10/10.

Great location and superb hospitality. Place is really clean and staff is ready to help you with everything. Very good and rich breakfast. Half board is optional with a numerous local dishes. Unfortunately we did not like the spices and oriental taste of the meals (food in Morocco in general). On our request, staff was super kind and served us the breakfast menu for the dinner as well, for what we were super grateful. Thank you so much!!! My recommendations for this riad :)

I can't find fault with this lovely Riad. From the moment of booking, I received emails detailing the food I could book ahead of arrival, or the tours and excursions I could consider. As I was arriving mid-evening I decided to pre-book a chicken tagine to save worrying about going out and finding a restaurant. It was a great decision. Ibrahim greeted me on arrival with tea and a delicious home-made biscuit and proceeded to orientate me by showing me a map and our location. He pointed out nearby attractions and made recommendations for those I should make an effort to see. The Riad is situated about 15 mins walk from the famous Jamma El Fnaa square and the surrounding souks. Once I knew the way, the walk only took about 10 mins. I liked the location of Lalla Mamouna because it is near all the attractions but just outside of the crazy hubbub. The other bonus is that you can get a taxi right to the end of the alley. In many riads in the narrow souk streets, there is no car access. The room was lovely - spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated in a modern but definitely Moroccan style. The shower had good pressure and there was plentiful hot water. The Riad has a lovely rooftop terrace with a small jacuzzi pool. Sadly I didn't have enough time to sit up there and relax but I captured a lovely sunset one evening over the rooftops. Ibrahim was the supreme host and was so helpful. He had a constant smile on his face and nothing was too much trouble. I really felt at home there. The breakfast was superb and kept me going well past lunchtime. On my final day, I booked some treatments in the hammam and indulged in a blissful three-hour exfoliation with the traditional black soap, a massage and a facial. It was truly lovely. I highly recommend this lovely riad and the warm welcome you will receive.
Cons: I can't really think of anything I didn't like. Once or twice the wi-fi signal was a little low, but this lasted a matter of minutes. It may be worth pointing out there is no TV in the rooms (not needed in my opinion) but some may expect it. Also being a courtyard-style house, there are no windows to look out of. The bonus here is that the house keeps cooler as it is built around a courtyard - which incidentally is gorgeous and has birds chirruping away as you eat your breakfast.

The Riad was very cozy and beautiful! The colours, the perfumes and the furnitures mixed tradition with modernity. The structure was super clean and our bedroom had a comfy bed and a top bathroom. The breakfast was special. The position was perfect because it was near the city center but also far from the noisy streets. Our host Ibrahim was very kind, lovely and helpful for any question. He welcomed us with a huge smile and some Marocaine tea. He gave us a touristic map and answered to all our questions. We will be back there for sure!

A great Riad, away from the madness of the Medina centre but also very close to it. The room was extremely good, with all the comforts needed. Clean, spacious, nice decoration, big bathroom. We had a great stay at Riad Lalla Mimouna on our trip to Marrakech. The riad is small and charming and is quiet, peaceful and clean, which feels extra nice when you need a break from the busy city. The first day we came, we got a nice welcome from Ibrahim, which gave us tea and cake in the common room. During the rest of our stay, he was also exceptionally helpful, warm and polite. The room was also nice and felt a bit luxurious with the tiled bathroom and shower.
Cons: It could have been more signs to show the way from the main street, but not a big problem.

It was a lovely stay. Ibrahim was a amazing host at the Riad. The location is ideal for walking about the Medina. There are small local areas as well as the Souk and Medina markets in close proximity. The room was clean and comfortable. All was great.
Cons: To pick one thing, personally the breakfast wasn't for me, but that is due to my preference for a protein based breakfast. On the day I ate it , it was nice, just not for me regularly.

We had such a great time here - it’s got a high rating for a reason. The staff are so friendly and helpful, always happy to answer any questions with a smile. The room was spacious with lovely decoration and the bathroom was nice and clean. The sheets/pillows are so soft, the bed was a dream to sleep in. Breakfast was a lovely spread - just the right amount of food. Plus you can eat on the rooftop with the sun on your face. The Riad is in a great location - a 10 min (max) walk to Al Feena square, whilst still being in the walls of the Medina. Definetly a bit quieter than staying closer to the chaos. Would certainly come back to stay at this Riad! 😊
Cons: It can be slightly noisy, hearing other guests’ conversations and people coming up and down the stairs. I think this is something that is characteristic of all open-plan riads though so just something to be aware of. The room came with a nespresso machine/pods/mini bar with drinks and snacks. I was slightly dissappointed that the coffee was not included with the room.

We stayed in 2 riads in Marrakesh, the other one is more “famous” on Instagram but I have to say Lalla Mimouna is MUCH BETTER with more affordable price. The riad is new, good location, very nice interior design, exactly the same in the photos. Breakfast is generous. I am very sensitive to the room odor, and the riad is always smelling good! Bravo to Karim and the team :-)
Cons: Maybe a little upgrade/maintenance of the drainage.

If this is your first time in Marrakesh and you want to experience and the magic of staying in a Riad, like it was for us, then this is the perfect place to start. The hospitality in the riad was definetely one of the best we have ever received. This was because of Ibrahim and all the stuff who made our stay really exceptional. Ibrahim is one of a kind. The way Ibrahim took care of us , made us feel at home and helped us with everything we needed , even at late in the night was absolutely exceptional. Equally amazing was the help of the rest of the team. The breakfast was absolutely fresh and included fresh bread baked by the chef ( we dont remember her name but the food she prepared every day for us was truly exceptional). Cleaningness and comfort was also excellent. We chose the room with an indoor view which was a very nice choice since we could enjoy the birds singing in the morning, a truly unique experience. The riad was sparkling clean, and the wifi worked perfectly. Thank you for having us here and we hope to come again soon!

We had the most wonderful stay at Riad Lalla Mimouna. From arrival to departure, we couldn't fault a thing. The rooms were lovely and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a different variety each morning. The Riad itself was so peaceful and well decorated. But none of this came close to the hospitality of Ibrahim and the entire team. We had an amazing stay here. It matches the photos and is pretty comfortable, convenient, and friendly. The location is not right at the Jamaa el Fna square, however, we appreciate being in a 10-minute walk to the center, out of the confusion, and in a quieter and safe neighborhood. It fits all the requirements: good bed, good shower, good wifi, clean and safe. But the cherry on top was the host Ibrahim: attentive, friendly, and kind. Ibrahim was who made our travel great and I can't thank him enough for his help.

The riad is beautiful and comfortable, a nice calm place away from the busy city centre that’s only a short walk away. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a nice big shower and bed. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace with a nice view of the Koutoubia Mosque tower and consisted of pancakes, fresh bread, yoghurt and cake with jams and cheese. The staff was really welcoming and kind and they helped us with printing our boarding passes and arranging a taxi to the airport. Beautiful place, gorgeous rooms as well. A bit out of the médina but close enough to walk which is nice (a bit less hectic), rooftop terrasse for breakfast and enjoying the pool in the afternoon is so nice! Staff is very nice and helpful. Highly recommend the hammam Bains de Marrakech à few steps from the Riad it was a dream!
Cons: Only thing is that it is quite noisy. The fact that it’s a Riad, the sound from the city really travels inside (maybe unusual but there was music very late at night from a convention nearby) and also the rooms are right next to the hanging area and réception so you hear everything. Earplugs where necessary. I did get sick so the intimity and calm would have been nice. But other wise, Id say it fits the mood of Marrakech, you dont come there to relax ;)

We stayed here for 3 nights. This area of Marrakesh is very safe and relaxed, you do not hear the noise of the city. Access to the city center we always did by foot and everything else for a maximum 10min taxi. The hosts are amazing, very welcoming, we really felt like home. They helped us on everything we had to know before we head out to the city of Marrakesh. The building has been recently renovated, with nice décor with a mixture of modern and traditional. A common rooftop is just ideal for a sunset and to have a delicious breakfast over the city. Comfort, cleaning, and lighting at its best in general and in the room. Bed is very comfy. Would go back if in Marrakesh. Highly recommended for couples.

The location is excellent, very close to the Medina but accessible by taxi at night, and next to the palace, so there are guards all along the main street, very safe area. The room is spacious, with a closet and desk. The receptionist was very friendly and proposed us places for sightseeing, gave us some safety tips, even helped find us a taxi when we left for the airport. The breakfast ladies were also very polite.
Cons: The swimming pool is the size of a bathtub. Coffee is horrible at breakfast. No fruit at all at breakfast even if it was still summer and the city is filled with fruit vendors. No local cheeses (who comes to Morocco for "la vache qui rit" ???) In the room you can hear everything happening in the corridor, reception and sitting area, so zero privacy. The shower has extremely low pressure and clogs up all the time. There's a coffee machine in the room but you need to pay 2€ for the capsules and they're not even Nespresso. They ask for any extra payments to be made in cash (probably for tax fraud) and give you a rounded up (very much up) price in euros.

I had an amazing 5 day stay here, I wish I had stayed longer. I travelled to Marrakech as a solo woman and I felt extremely safe coming back home at night. We were welcomed.by Karim and Esma and made feel like family returning home. They were wonderful and caring giving us information, guidance and suggestions. Maria's food is more than amazing! Her homemade yogurt so delicious and refreshing, and her tajines and couscous the best we tasted in Marrakech The Riad is next door to the palace, and in the heart of the city, giving us both the feeling of being at the core of the local community, and having the extended security offered by the presence of the guards at the palace. The room was wonderful. Returning to a cool.space after hours of exploring the city at 43-44 degrees felt like coming into an oasis. The decor, the facilities, the roof top pool...just amazing...we cannot recommend Lalla Mimouna enough! Staying here was a wonderful experience, and Karim, Esma and the rest of the team made us feel at home and part.of the family. A huge, heart felt thank you!
Cons: Having to leave. Not having any Arabic to be able to communicate better, although Karim and Esma spoke perfect English, so the language was never a problem! In a way, having different languages gave us more opportunities to learn, with us sharing our English and Spanish and Karim and Esma giving us the "word of the day" in Arabic, at our request...wonderful people! Maybe visiting in August was not the best idea, as with temperatures reaching 44 degrees one day, it was hard work to be a tourist, exploring the city; but returning to the Riad was like coming home!

Perfect experience at Lalla mimouna, Karim, Hafsa and Esma and all their staff, helped us when we arrived whit some good advice in order to non been scammed and the best place to visit in town! Furthermore the location is near the prince palace so I can write without a doubt that this riad is one of the most safe place in town. I am asmatic but I didnt have problems with dust: room perfectly cleaned and the breakfast was rich and tasty Come here if you want to taste the real maroccan hospitality!

It’s very cozy and feel like home. The stuffs are all very friendly, they are always trying to help and always smiling. It’s at a very safe and quiet area, so I would highly recommend!
Cons: The rooms are quite close to each other, so you can hear the sound quite clearly. I had some coughing, I guess my neighbor would be annoyed during the night.

Karim and Asmaa truly have made this place one of a kind! The location was far enough away from the main square to be serene and peaceful but only 10 minutes walk. Furthermore, the riad is right next to the kings palace so always felt secure with 24/7 security and guards walking around. Clear signage to the riad as well unlike others we’d seen! Each morning the breakfast was different yet amazing, kitchen staff are fantastic! The rooms are beautifully decorated, and done in a way that felt modern yet still authentically Moroccan. The rooftop terrace is beautiful for relaxing and to see the sunrise from. Karim and Asmaa really took the time to talk to us and get to know us and advise us on the best things to do on our trip. It felt like coming home every day. We cannot recommend this place enough!
Cons: Nothing!

Hospitality was very good- Karim and Esma were very accommodating in many ways. I liked the location because it was outside of the business of the Medina while still being walking distance. This meant it was also easier to catch a taxi from. The decor is stunning! The colors are amazing and the small touches are nice. The room felt luxurious. Had a small mini bar, sitting areas, closet and full length mirror. OVerall a really nice stay, thank you Lalla Mimouna!
Cons: Hammam massage experience could have been better but i communicated this to them & they are hopefully working on it.

Beautiful riad in the heart of Marrakesh. The staff are warm and friendly, and the rooftop terrace offers stunning views of the city. I especially enjoyed the massage, which was incredibly relaxing. The overall experience was truly special, and I would highly recommend this Riad to anyone visiting Marrakesh.

I wish I could have stayed longer. The hotel is exceptional and the rooms are super comfortable with large beds and bathrooms. The main area was beautifully decorated like a beautiful garden and everything was tastefully decorated. My favourite part was the rooftop area where you could sit and have breakfast, sun lounge, and take a dip in the small rooftop pool/tub. It is also lovely at night as the rooftop is beautifully lit to sit and relax. Location is great as it is only a short walk from Jemma el fna main square. Breakfast was plentiful and offered a great selection of Moroccan treats. But most importantly was the staff. They were some of the loveliest and welcoming people I encountered in Morocco and went above and beyond to ensure I had the best stay in Morocco. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Unfortunately the rooms aren't greatly soundproof and I did find myself being woken up by morning prayers at sunrise which was around 5am.

Hamid is the kindest host. From the second we stepped foot in the riad, he was so warm and hospitable. We were immediately offered tea and biscuits as we filled in our passport details for them. The riad is absolutely beautiful, it is extremely modern and the bed is very very comfortable, and the air con works perfectly. There is a hot tub on the roof! It’s beautiful.
Cons: Nothing - this riad is absolute perfection!!! Not a single complaint. You will not regret staying here. We will be back! The only minor point to note is that you will hear the call to prayer loudly at 5am, and the birds shortly after. But we always managed to fall back asleep afterwards, and this is something you will experience in most riads in Marrakesh.

Outstanding Riad, we loved every second of our stay and we'll be back in the near future. :-) The staff here are not only top class at their jobs but wonderful, warm people who felt like our family from our first day and we were so sad to leave them . It's important here to say how good the location is in Marrakesh, it is a close walk to the main square and city, but tucked away in a beautiful, quiet oasis. You can enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city and come back to a place that feels like home. The rooms are cleaned daily and the bed is very comfortable, decorated beautifully with a moroccan rug. Birds chirp in the centre of the Riad, the bottom floor is beautifully created with moroccan rugs, lamps, huge plants, a classic fireplace and dining space. The breakfast is also a must. The food is all handmade in true moroccan style. The breakfast filled with fresh home baked moroccan pastries, natural yoghurt, honey, fresh coffee and orange juice. Try the beef and prune tagine for lunch, it is exquisite. The staff help you with a map and explain what to be careful of, where to have true moroccan style food without the hefty price and must visits. They are incredibly attentive and caring to all their guests. This was one of, if not our best stay. If you are thinking of Marrakesh stay here, you will not regret it. Miss you all at Riad Lalla Mimouna already and see you again soon, Callum & Kira xxx

Beautiful Riad, exceptional staff and services. Great location and easily accessible (once you know where it is!).
Cons: For the non-Muslim visitors: it is very close to a mosque so the morning prayer call will definitely wake you up (it goes for 30 mins at least and VERY loud) which makes it difficult to fall asleep again. It is a bit overpriced compared to similar Riads and the staff may give you high price estimation for taxis, so always get your own taxis! The location on google map is set incorrectly and it is misleading, which makes it difficult to find for the first time.

Very thoughtfully appointed, the restoration and decor done to high standards. Obvious that great thought went into it. The best part of the stay was the staff but especially Hamid and Karim went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. Ready to assist with pretty much everything even helping us plan the rest of our stay in Morocco - local transfers, taxis and recommendations. Even checking to make sure we got to all the other locations safely. It is a great little gem and the staff make it a treasure. Shukran, Tenmrit, merci, asante sana!!

Osama was the perfect host- he showed me around first thing when I got there and explained all the features and amenities available to me- this place even came stocked with a mini bar & snacks!!!! *(Option to have any alcohol removed before your stay is available) The architecture is beautiful, and authentic, but the actual business is only a few months old, which means it's decked out in newer technology than some of the other riad's around; hot water didn't run out, new thermostat, great water pressure, etc. I would definitely recommend staying at this Riad- would 100% go back myself.
Cons: Honestly couldn't find anything wrong with it.

Stuff was super nice and helpful, we got into unpleasant situation with locals and people working at the road were extremely nice in helping us figure things out and feel safe. We still feel grateful to them for making our stay wonderful! Also room was very clean and comfy, mix of authentic and modern vibes, and after Spain it was nice to have working AC and heating. Location was also great in the heart of the old town (but be aware of the scammers) Also, I wish we stayed more at the rooftop that was super pretty.. but maybe next time!

The staff is very kind and helpful, the hotel is super comfortable and tastefully decorated. Amazing bed, pillows and shower products! I felt at home. Breakfast is simple continental/european, with top quality ingredients. They don't offer gluten free options or espresso coffee, but the orange juice and occasionally the typical Moroccan crepes (M'semen) or regular crepes with chocolate make up for it. Best plus - the staff have a very nice contact for taxi services - Amine is a secure, helpful and friendly taxi driver.
Cons: I would like breakfast to have other options - either typical food from Marroco or gluten-free options (like oatmeal, assorted fruit) and espresso coffee. The location is very practical and quiet/calm, however it is a little rebuilt, in a typical residential neighborhood where there are children who try to scrounge money to direct us to the door (I recommend not paying too much attention to them). The room, although very beautiful and comfortable, lacked hangers on the wall to hang wet towels.

Oussama, Safia and all the staff at Lalla Mimouna were kind, courteous and attentive. They did their best to ensure we were feeling comfortable in the riad and having a great time in Marrakech. For example, they would ask about our plans for the day, give us tips on things to do and visit, and offer us tea or coffee to relax when we were back. We booked a day trip to Essaouira through the riad, which we enjoyed a lot and can definitely recommend. There was always a pleasant aroma when walking into the riad. The living room had a cosy fire place and sitting area to relax. Beautifully decorated, you can see and hear the house buntings perching and flying around. A generous breakfast was served every morning consisting of different types of bread, fried egg, pancakes, and pastries. Breakfast was a little bit different every day giving us the opportunity to try different things. The staff was extremely kind to accommodate breakfast to an earlier than usual time so we could have food before going on our day trips. We also had a traditional Moroccan dinner on the evening we arrived at the riad, and it was absolutely delicious. Last but not least, we found the neighbourhood (Sidi Mimoun) a great place to stay in Marrakech. At walking distance to the main touristic attractions, central but not hectic. We especially recommend having lunch at "Café & Restaurant Traditionnel" and dinner at "Le Nid' cigogne".
Cons: It is worth mentioning that the riad is located next to a mosque so you will hear (and likely be waken up by) the call to prayer very early in the mornings at around 5:30/6. To us personally, this added to our experience of the local culture and wasn't a concern. We didn't get to use the hot tub in the end because it is placed in the terrace, and we didn't feel the weather was ideal for it.

We loved everything. The hosts were super nice and attentive, the room was impeccable (also it was the best bathroom we had in Morocco) and the Riad was beautiful. The location is perfect, very central but away from the noisy streets. We couldn’t have had a better experience. We enjoyed every minute spent there. We are definitely coming back!
Cons: We liked everything, so this is merely a suggestion since the Riad is new and they’ve just opened a couple of months ago. We would recommend to have more variety for breakfast and also some vegan options.

New riad with a modern design, close to almost all attractions around Jemaa el Fna. Spacious rooms with high ceiling and a tasteful design( I did burpees in the room for god's sake). Large and functional bathroom, supported with high quality towels and bathrobe. King size comfortable bed with high quality bedding. Above all, the staff Oussama and Safia are very very welcoming and always present to make sure you have an amazing stay.
Cons: Everything is close to perfection, a suggestion could be to improve the breakfast though. But this comes from a Turkish guy who used to have mama's Turkish breakfast.

When it comes to Morocco, the saying "don't judge a book by its cover" rings very true. When we first arrived, we couldn't really see the riad from the main road. Our driver told us, "their people will come out and pick you up", "come out from where?" I thought. As we could only see a small and dirty alley nearby. I had to convince the group, "don't worry, I'm sure the place is as great as the pictures!" And I was praying to God that I wasn't lying to them. But then a woman made her way towards us, looking very professional and put together, she greeted us with a smile and directed a man she came with to carry some of our stuff (we got a lot of stuff among the 4 of us) and then we followed her into the small and dirty alley. "It's only a couple of meters from here," she said. And at last, we arrived in front of a nice looking double door. A sign that says "Riad Lalla Mimouna" can be seen on the right of the entrance. She opened the door and immediately it felt like we were being transported to somewhere marvelous. The accommodation is not grand in size, apparently it only has 5 rooms, but it did feel bigger in its atmosphere. The woman, Safia, asked to sit and relax while the staff was preparing our welcome drink, the delicious Moroccan tea. The check in process was smooth and fast. It became really apparent how the place was maintained by only a small staff, but they seemed to be a well-oiled machine. Safia told us a little bit more about the accommodation, how it was still a work in progress because they had only opened not two weeks ago. But everything already looked so beautiful and serene. The decor was chic and very Moroccan inspired.
Cons: Just a minor thing, the door to the room was very hard to open 😅 but maybe because it's relatively new, I'm sure in time they will get a bit loose and easier to open and close.

Everything in this accommodation was so fresh mostly because it is newly built. i had my reservations about booking a place with no reviews on booking.com but I’m SUPER GLAD I booked this accommodation. this staff were nice and friendly and they saved me and my partner from getting scammed multiple times. i work from home and the WIFI was perfect. they were willing to help with everything. i also loved how the riad was a blend of old and new. everything just fit perfectly. would definitely recommend this accommodation over and over
