Beautiful property in the perfect location. The rooms were excellently decorated and facilities were beyond what was expected. My husband has coeliac disease and breakfast was catered to his requirements every morning without needing to be reminded. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and Moustapha was extremely helpful throughout.
Cons: The bed was very firm which we struggled to get comfy on but that was only to our preference.

Riad bellissimo dentro la Medina. Siamo state accolte da Moustapha è stato gentilissimo e professionale. Colazione abbondante e buona. Le camere sono pulite e belle. Consigliatissimo!

Mustafa, the owner, went above and beyond in helping me during my stay. As a first time solo, female traveller to Morocco, I was a little nervous. I was able to organize private transportation + porter from the airport through the riad and everyone involved was friendly, patient and communicative. Mustafa even helped me transfer my bags and myself to my next accommodation which I was extremely thankful for. The room was clean, beautiful, and peaceful. The breakfast served on the sunny rooftop was varied, delicious, and filling. I would stay here in a heartbeat again if I ever find myself in Marrakesh.

This was an amazing place in Marrakesh, I rarely had such a nice experience with a hotel. A lot thanks to the lovely staff who was kind, welcoming and service minded. The hotel was beautify and good located in Marrakesh. The experience got even better when they could fix an amazing gluten free breakfast (I noted when I booked that I had gluten intolerance). I would highly recommend and if I go back to Marrakesh I will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The Riad was very central to the medina and close to visitor attractions. The host Mustafa was very professional and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and modern, although retaining g a traditional charm. They were slightly small but this was not a problem we found that cosy. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Die Lage nahe beim Rand der Medina (ca. 5 Min. zu Fuss zum Rand des reinen Fussgängerbereichs), mitten im Tummel des Souks aber dennoch als Ruhe-Oase angelegt, ist super. Das Riad ist ähnlich eines Boutiquehotels überschaubar klein und sehr sorgfältig, liebevoll und stilsicher ausgestattet wie eingerichtet. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, Personal super zuvorkommend, freundlich, herzlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, üppig und vielseitig zurechtgemachte Teller pro Person.
Cons: Leider, wie bei fast allen Riads, hört man Geräusche der benachbarten Zimmer und Gäste, was für Menschen mit eher leichtem Schlaf nachteilig sein könnte. Für mehrtägige Aufenthalte sind die Zimmer und insb. die Schrank- und Ablagemöglichkeiten zu klein, aber für Kurzaufenthalte absolut ausreichend.

O atendimento foi ótimo, tivemos toda a atenção necessária. O aquecedor de toalhas na casa de banho é ótimo. O pequeno almoço estava muito bom. Na nossa primeira noite estivemos em um quarto com uma cama muito dura e pequena e não conseguimos dormir a noite toda. Ficamos com dores no corpo. O ar condicionado fazia barulho (e estava 5 graus fora). Não havia ninguém no riad durante a noite para falarmos sobre isso. De manhã o gerente do hotel nos mudou para outro quarto. Foi bem melhor, cama mais confortável, ar condicionado fazia menos barulho. O espaço é bonito mas é simples e não é coberto, o que o torna menos confortável. Não pudemos aproveitar o rooftop pois estava chovendo.
Cons: O último quarto do segundo andar tem a cama muito dura e pequena (não mais que 140 cm de largura, e talvez um pouco menos) e o ar condicionado neste quarto faz muito barulho. Sai pouca água do duche (ambos os quartos). A porta de entrada do riad faz barulho ao abrir e fechar. Os riads não costumam ter isolamento, mas neste, o barulho de noite foi um pouco pior. Os preços são inflacionados para o que oferecem. Ao ascenderem as luzes dos corredores, entra muita luz no quarto (principalmente através do vidro fosco que há no banheiro). Na segunda noite havia uma cortina nesta janela e pudemos manter o quarto escuro a noite toda.

Beautiful riad in a perfect location close to the main square. It was very clean and had everything I needed. As a female solo traveller i felt very safe and had no issues finding my way around. The riad itself is in a small side alley so very peaceful and quiet. Moustafa was very helpful before and during my stay as he arranged transfer for me from and to the airport and to Jardin Majorelle. He also arranged for me an amazing female guide to take me around the medina. Thank you! The breakfast was delicious and very filling.

What a wonderful experience! The staff were all so helpful and welcoming and the place itself was very beautiful. Good wifi, hot showers, heaters (we came in winter), and a hearty breakfast. It was down-pouring and freezing when we were there so we didn’t spend much time on the terrace or in communal areas, but it would have been so lovely in the sun.

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful Riad in the heart of the Medina. It was calm, peaceful and spotlessly clean. It was ideally located for all the sights around the old town, the souks and the lively jemaa el fna. There were also plenty of restaurants and eateries of quality in the surrounding area. Wel loved Marrakesh and found the people to be very friendly and helpful. The staff at the Riad were so gracious and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Finally the breakfast served on the rooftop was absolutely delicious! A great experience, thank you!

We had an early morning start on one of the days and they were kind enough pack us breakfast. The location is perfect, very close to the main square and other attractions.

Nous avons tout aimé ! L’accueil et les conseils du Responsable, Moustapha, qui nous ont été précieux Le personnel agréable et très professionnel. La chambre était très propre, nettoyage effectué quotidiennement et draps de douche changé chaque jour également. Très bon séjour dans le riad Dar Bayane, au coeur de la médina. Emplacement calme avec une très belle terrasse couverte offrant une vue sur les toits de Marrakech. Patio ravisssant sur lequel s'ouvrent plusieurs chambres magnifiques à la décoration soignée et élégante. Calme et discrétion au coeur de la médina bouillonnante et palpitante. L'établissement est géré très professionnellement par Moustapha qui offre conseils et attentions quotidiennement à ses hôtes. Il est d'une grande réactivité et répond à toutes nos attentes (excursions, taxis...). Discrétion, douceur et gentillesse pour Fatima qui nous a servis les petits déjeuners. Beautiful setting , very clean . The Riad was in an excellent location . The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they had an excellent grasp of English . They booked our taxis every evening and our transfer to the airport. The breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious and even offered a late breakfast when we returned back from a trip . I would highly recommend this Riad . The Riad also catered for a coeliac at Breakfast .

We couldn't believe that it was so quiet and relaxing whilst only 2 streets away from the hustle and bustle of the souks. We can't recommend Riad Dar Bayane highly enough.

Lovely, airy clean property with a rooftop seating area. From the initial welcome with delicious Moroccan tea, to the moment we left, the Riad was a delight. All staff were friendly and helpful. Transport to collect us from the airport and return us to the railway station was swiftly arranged. Breakfast was large and tasty served on the roof terrace. Easy access from a busy part of the Medina and close to the main square.
Cons: Nothing. Be aware there are narrow stairs to reach most rooms and the terrace, as is common in the Riads.

Alle sind unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Besonders Gastgeber Moustapha verdient ein großes Lob – mit seiner freundlichen Art, seinen wertvollen Tipps und seinem echten Interesse an den Gästen macht er den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Een prachtige oase van rust midden in de oude stad! Maar vooral door de altijd behulpzame Meryam is ons verblijf voortreffelijk geweest! Zij heeft zoveel voor ons geregeld! Van privé tour, gereden door Mohsine, alle taxi’s van en naar de Riad, het fantastische ontbijt elke dag, t meelopen met ons naar de taxi die klaar stond! Zij en Jamal de nachtportier hebben ervoor gezorgd dat ons verblijf fantastisch was! Je moet hier gewoon naar toe!!!

The Riad was beautifully decorated and our bedroom was comfortable and clean. The location is right next to the souks, making it easy and safe to explore the surrounding area. Moustapha gave us some great recommendations for restaurants nearby which was very helpful and the traditional Moroccan breakfast served on the rooftop was delicious! The airport transfer service was also convenient and good value for money, special thanks to Jamal for walking us to our taxi early in the morning :)
Cons: The only improvement would be softer pillows in the bedrooms as ours were quite hard and difficult to sleep on. To note, that there are also quite a few flights of stairs at the property.

El Riad ha sido un acierto total. Llegamos de noche un sábado y como el taxi no podía acceder hasta la puerta del Riad uno de los chicos del Riad fue a por nosotros para ayudarnos con las maletas. Nos recibieron con te y unos dulces típicos. Estuvimos alojamos de un sábado a un miercoles ya que el miércoles fuimos a pasar dos noches fuera de Maraskech y les pedimos si nos podían guardar una maleta esos dos días que estuvimos fuera porque el viernes ( última noche ) volvimos a Marrakech y nos alojamos en el mismo. Nos guardaron la maleta sin ningún problema y nos fuimos tranquilos ya que la gente que trabaja ahí son súper amables y simpáticos y dan confianza.La habitación súper tranquila, limpia y moderna. Decorada con mucho gusto. Los desayunos riquísimos. Cada día además variaban de cosas y te daban agua mineral en todo momento. Sin duda, si volvemos a Marrakech nos volveríamos a alojar aquí. El primer día además nos recomendaron sitios para comer y cenar y nos dieron consejo sobre cosas con las que deberíamos de andarr con algo de cuidado por zona zoco et. Gracias por todo!

Die Lage ist zentral, sodass man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das leckere Frühstück, das jeden Morgen frisch zubereitet wird. Riad Dar Bayane is in a great location, close to the entrance of the Medina with very easy access to Jemaa el Fnaa Square, the Bahia Palace and a beautiful little find, the Musee De L'Art Culinaire Marocain. The Riad itself was spotlessly clean, lovely room and bathroom and very comfortable bed and bedding. It also had good AC which was a godsend in 46 degrees heat. Breakfast was also lovely, but the highlight was definitely the staff. Jamil who met me from my taxi and helped with my bags was extremely kind and lovely, showing me the area and even trying to teach me a few Arabic words. And Moustapha was there for every question I had, assisting with my needs and my onward travel plans and even messaging to check I had arrived safe at my next destination That kind of service is priceless and I won't forget it and I will recommend it to anyone visiting. I will also return if I get the chance

10/10 - Maybe my best experience in a hotel for the value! Facilities were great, breakfast was delicious, and the staff was outstanding. Meryam and Moustapha were just personable, caring and just excellent ! They offered to walk us if we need and can sort out any issues. They also book taxi and spa for us. It was like a personal concierge experience. The cleaning staff and breakfast staff were also very sweet. The location is central and very convenient. We could walk anywhere. Another highlight is the delicious breakfast we got every morning. All in all - 10 out of 10 experience. Best value. Highly recommended !

We had a wonderful stay at this riad! The location was perfect – just 4 minutes from the main square and 5-6 minutes from the souks. Within 15 minutes' walk, there were so many great local restaurants, rooftop cafes, museums, and attractions. Our room was absolutely beautiful, decorated in a traditional Moroccan style. It was very clean and every detail was thoughtfully prepared. We were three ladies, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Every day, fresh towels, clean linen, mugs, glasses, and bottles of water were provided – a small gesture, but it made a big difference in the hot weather. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and served on the rooftop of the riad with a breathtaking view – a perfect way to start each day! A big thank you to Moustapha, our amazing host. From the first moment, he was kind, helpful, and always there when we needed anything. He gave us great local tips for food, drinks, shopping, and places to see. Thanks to him, we had an unforgettable experience in the Agafay Desert – quad biking, a camel ride at sunset, and a magical dinner under the moonlight with music and dancing. We can't recommend this riad enough! The customer service from end to end has been excellent, with Moustapha, Jamal and the team being the most welcoming and considerate hosts to us for the whole week. Nothing is too much trouble, from helping us get from the airport to giving local recommendations, and even organising early breakfasts for us when we had trips planned. Truly wonderful service, for that alone we would come back! It was almost a bonus that the riad itself is as beautiful as it is, a real calm oasis in the heart of the Medina. It's a few minutes walk from the main square and some excellent restaurants, and only a short walk to the road should you need a taxi to further out sites. The free breakfast was lovely, different every day, and we looked forward to seeing what treats we had each day! And the terrace is a peaceful area to relax, eat, even read and sunbathe. The cold plunge pool is a wonderful escape from the heat, and the rooms themselves are quiet, comfortable and air conditioned, with lovely bathrooms. We absolutely recommend staying here, amazing value for money, we couldn't fault a thing. We will be back on our next trip to Marrakech, thank you Moustapha, Jamal and the rest of Riad Dar Bayane.

We stayed at 5 different Riads during our 2 week stay in Morocco and this one was a bit of a splurge since it was a bit more expensive than the others. It did not disappoint! The location on a quieter street of the Medina made our stay very peaceful. This is very much appreciated after the chaos of Jemaa el fna :-) We were greeted by Moustapha when we checked in. He was very kind and eager to make sure we had a great stay. The property is spotless and very nicely decorated. Our room was "Ness" on the second floor. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked great. The bathroom was very spacious and shower had nice pressure and plenty of hot water. We loved the very filling homemade breakfast that was served on the rooftop terrace each day. Since the weather in Marrakech was nearly 40C when we were there, we enjoyed having a dip in the pool during the afternoon and lounging on the day beds.
Cons: Not the hotel's fault : - we stayed 4 nights and, on occasion, the guests in the room above us made a lot of noise - alley that leads to the Riad is quite messy and stinky

My family and I stayed earlier this month and we’d have to say that our stay at Riad Dar Bayane was amazing. All staff were absolutely attentive and accommodating. They were all so kind and helpful with helping us get transportation set up for one of our excursions and to the airport. The breakfast each morning was phenomenal. The facility is constantly being cleaned. I also received the sweetest note wishing me a happy birthday and a good stay for my family and I. I thought that was such a thoughtful gesture. This Riad is definitely worth the money and I would choose to stay here all over again!
Cons: Although the Riad is relatively close to the square, until you get used to getting around, it can be confusing and and easy to get lost. Once we got to know the area, we know longer had issues finding the place at night.

Cons: We had a room next to the inner courtyard which, to be honest, can get a little noisy in the morning when people pass by or evening when people are welcomed to the riad, so that could have been better. The beds were less comfortable than I imagined. The pillows are quite hard, which, for me is fine, but for others less so. Value for money could be better imo, especially when comparing it with some other places in Morocco.

Moustapha and his team were superb. They could not do enough to help us enjoy our Marrakesh stay. The riad itself although only 6 rooms is very nicely decorated. Location is walkable to all major tourist attractions in the medina. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a traditional decor. I must admit we arrived late on our first night as our flight was delayed and Moustapha had arranged a meal for us, which we felt guilty as we didn’t eat much, but the food was traditional Moroccan, and was as good as any other meal we had. Moustapha I think the next morning could sense we were nervous of the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh so sat with us and explained some do’s and don’ts with some great restaurant recommendations (and bars)for which we were super grateful. We had a walking tour guide arranged by the riad too, which was great, highly recommended. We took a trip to the mountains which is a full day, but it gave us a lot of culture and sights we wanted to experience, and not expensive. The riad or tripadviser can tell you all you need to know. The souks and main square are madness. Prepare yourself for this and you’ll be fine. It feels safe, and everyone you meet is very friendly.

Loved the roof top restaurant where delicious breakfasts were served daily and we had supper on the first evening which was typically Moroccan and most welcome. The accommodation was easy walking distance from the main square . The location is excellent. Be prepared to walk about 5 minutes as the street is not reachable by car. But You can have a porter to carry the luggage for a small amount of tips. The riad is clean and hidden in a small quiet safe alley. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They always have a smile on their face. In general, i had a surprise experience staying at a riad and i'd definitely do it again in the future.

Whilst it is so close to everything, it also feels very private and quiet. Moustapha and the staff were incredibly friendly, giving us recommendations and making us feel very well looked after. They even made us a packed breakfast for the airport when we left! Our room was cleaned every day and was spotless. The breakfast provided was also incredible, with a range of Moroccan foods. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and would definitely recommend! Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

It was simply amazing, right in the centre of it all, and yet we all felt like we had found paradise. The Riad was incredible, so clean, the beds were so comfortable, and the shower was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here, and we would all go back. Marrakech is a crazy place. The food and people made it a new year to remember. We asked Mustapha recommendations for restaurants and a special place to see the new year in, and he did not disappoint. For New years year we spent it in an old place called nawama......bloody brilliant. Mustapha also organised a guided tour and would recommend this very knowledgeable. We also did a day trip to casablanca....well worth it......thank you Marrakech, you were a blast

Also the roof top is well furnished which has not been the case in many other Riads we stayed in a similar price range. For the colder months (we‘ve stayed here in January)… the heating works very well. Even the bathroom has a towel heater.

We had the best stay, honestly the most warm and welcoming staff we’ve ever met. They organised an affordable airport transfer and they went above and beyond in carrying our very large suitcases up a very narrow flight of stairs to the third floor. They also served us breakfast very early in the morning so that we could make our tour. The staff really made our stay, so genuine and kind, treating you like their own family. The Riad itself is literally in the center of the Marrakech, you cannot be any closer to the main square. Despite being so close, it’s also surprising quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean and modern and everything was just superb. We cannot think of a better place to stay when visiting Marrakech.

Riad Dar Bayane, is a well maintained wonderful Riad with exceptionally great staff. It is located close to the Medina in Marrakech and is walking distance from most other historic sites. Even so it was still in a quiet location and was very restful to be in. The staff were wonderful and helped us in every way possible, even when we were in a pinch and needed to make adjustments to our bookings they were able to accomodate us easily. The Food here was great as well, worth the price. Would highly recommend.

Before we booked, I was reading the reviews on here thinking, can it be this good? Who is this Moustapha guy and is he as great as they say he is? Well, I’m glad to report that he is in fact the real deal! He was kind, attentive and more than happy to accommodate any need we had. We messaged him before check-in, and he quickly helped organize an seamless early morning private transfer from the airport. He also organized a great breakfast spread on arrival, took the time to sit down with us to discuss all our plans and then laid out a map to mark his recommendations based on our interests. The entire staff are the same, always greeting you with a warm smile. The riad is very clean and well-styled with modern decor. It is cozy and comfortable with only a few rooms. They also have a nice rooftop and lounge beds on the second floor to relax. The riad itself is overall very nice, but it’s truly the people who make the place shine at Riad Dar Bayane.

There star accommodation masquerading as four star. Good location and refreshing dipping pool. Basic four star facilities are missing, small fridge, pen & paper, tea / coffee facilities.They do not have a secure luggage store. The remote control was not working in the room I had so the "entertainment" mentioned on the website didn't exist, nor did the restaurant or the 24 hour reception, on the contrary there was rarely anyone around to assist with any requirements. Breakfast is a meagre offering and you cannot get decent coffee, they serve extremely weak Nescafé at lukewarm temperature, and that's if you can find anybody to serve it. Times are inconsistent I gave up after day three and bought Breakfast outside. Check in was a farce , I arrived one hour before check in and was told the room I booked could be ready if I didn't mind waiting however when check in of 1pm arrived I was told I needed to wait longer until 2pm. I was then offered an inferior room to the one I'd paid for, for the first night which I accepted in sheer frustration but didn't receive a refund for the cost price difference. The staff go at a snails pace to suit themselves, and not the paying guest. I did try and feedback during my trip, unfortunately the manager Moustapha has a volatile temper and cannot accept constructive criticism, in his eyes the customer is always wrong and there cannot possibly be any room for improvement. Didn't receive the standard Id paid for, and would not recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming riad hotel in Marrakech, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The hotel was impeccably clean, and my room felt incredibly cozy and well-maintained. I also loved the location, which was perfect for exploring the city—it’s within walking distance of all the key attractions and some fantastic restaurants. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. Every morning, I enjoyed delicious, freshly prepared food on the hotel’s beautiful rooftop garden, which added a special touch to the experience. However, what truly made my stay memorable was the staff. Every team member was friendly and considerate, making me feel genuinely welcome. I’d particularly like to recognize Moustapha, who took the time to introduce me to the area around the hotel and ensure I was well taken care of. On the day of my early morning check-out, Moustapha went above and beyond by arranging a take-out breakfast for me, so I wouldn’t go hungry before my journey. Overall, this riad provided an exceptional experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Literally the worst experience of any Riad I’ve ever had (and I’m going to Morocco regularly and slept in very modest hotels as well as luxury ones…) Buckle up because this sounds like a horror movie: - Cockroaches in the room when waking up - Bedsheets were dirty (had to change them ourselves) - Used contact lenses and food on the bedside table - Boogers in the shower (no kidding…) - No light in the toilets - No soap - Internet wasn’t working The whole place clearly needs a refresh. On top of this the guy outside the hotel in the street waiting for you to pay the parking is super aggressive and borderline acting like a mafia boss… The poor guy at reception didn’t know how to help because there was no manager in the hotel for most of the days we were in. The hall with the swimming pool was the only thing that looked decent. In which dystopian reality is this a FOUR STARS hotel experience?! Definitely not recommended unfortunately…

The staff are absolutely incredible. Moustapha and Jamal looked after us from start to finish. They organised everything for us, including all our taxis and always came and met us to make sure got back safely. Moustapha gave us amazing recommendations and organised a wonderful hammam experience, while Jamal cooked us a beautiful traditional meal on the roof - it was all so special. We can't thank them enough for everything they did for us - we would highly recommend. The cleanliness was also amazing - our room was cleaned while we were at breakfast everyday and was immaculate. We highly recommend if you are visiting Marrakech.

It was a beautifully decorated Riad and was very clean! Nice pool to dip in when it’s hot, not really for swimming but for relaxing. Breakfast was the best we’d had anywhere in Morocco. Really lovely terrace space and nice bathroom.

Loved it. Moustapha is a legend, he helped us out booking various restaurants and the Beldi Country club. Nothing was too much trouble. There was another person on reception who was also super helpful, very smiley, both with a very positive attitude. Great work guys!

Moustapha and his team did everything to make our holiday an unforgettable experience. Moustapha was very considerate with our breakfast requests, he organised a great city tour for us, booked my spa session, and gave plenty of helpful recommendations. He was very responsive overall. Our stay at Riad Dar Bayane couldn’t have been any better, the staff were amazing and could not do enough to help me and my partner. The Riad is quite difficult to find at first but that is no issue at all as the staff came and collected us from the square. They are so accommodating, from booking restaurants / trips to walking us back from our taxi is the evening, they were so so helpful and friendly. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was great. It is minutes away from the main square so perfect location. My partner even left his headphones behind and they have sent them back to the UK for us. Staying at this Riad is a must whilst in marrakech. Thank you so much for making our stay so great!

I can not express enough how I love this riad. It is a three minute walk from the square. Of course it's a maze going in there but you will get it right away. Not once did I ever feel unsafe as a solo female traveler, Moustapha made sure of that. He arranged all my transport, he was there all the time and the communication is constant. If you don't feel safe walking in the evening or early morning, dear Jamal will walk with to your taxi or tour pick up place. Breakfast is more than enough, so good and filling. The room is big, clean and maintained everyday. It is a quiet place. The service of this riad is par excellent. Thank you Moustapha.

The Riad is stunning when you walk through the front door, and is situated perfectly in the centre of Marrakesh. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh sheets and towels. The terrace at the top was the best way to start the day, having Moroccan tea and breakfast watching the city wake up. The best part of our stay was the service that we received, epically from Jamel who was very polite and accommodating. We had a couple of morning excursions where we left before breakfast had started, but Jamel would wake up early to prepare our food before we set off. Every evening we looked forward to see him when we came back from dinner, he was fantastic from start to finish!

The riad is beautiful and the welcome tea was delicious. The breakfast is served on the terrace where you can enjoy the view of the whole Medina. The employee Jamal was very friendly and he provided all the support requested.
Cons: The host, Mustafa, did not behave very well toward us. He informed us that he had made a reservation for a restaurant, but 30 minutes before our booking time, he claimed that the restaurant had moved our reservation (when in reality, he had forgotten to call and make the reservation). He never apologized for his mistake.

Where do I start! The property is located in a very convenient location with easy access to all the tourist sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful with providing support in booking excursions and ideas of good places to eat. The room was cleaned everyday, the room was neat and the property was well kept. A lovely array of options were provided for breakfast which came swiftly when sat in the dining area. Due to the layout of the property the room did not receive much sunlight however there were many lighting options in the room. We were out until late one night and Moustapha made sure to book us a taxi and get someone to walk us back to the Riad which was lovely and we really appreciated the gesture of safety. Moustapha was the best host alongside Jamal and the rest of team. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. A wholesome trip 🇲🇦

My daughter and I went to Marrakech for the first time. We were looking for a spotless riad with a good location; a place to rest after the long days. This riad was what we expected and more. Located 3 minutes walking from Jemaa el- Fnaa, it’s a calm and peaceful place, decorated with hand made artisans’ details and luxury materials. Wide, spotless rooms, with quality mattresses and pillows’ hardness choices. On top of that, the staff was extraordinary. Managed professionally and kindly by Moustapha, everything was done before even asking. For example, our flight arrived late in the night and he managed a driver and a guide to accompany us to the riad and on the next days through the Medina mazed streets. Usually breakfast was served in the terrace with amazing views, but one day we were leaving sooner and they served us an earlier one in the quiet patio. Everyday breakfast was a culinary experience, all sorts of typical breads, moroccan tea, jams and spreads… If you are looking for a chic, attentive and safe place to stay while you enjoy Marrakech, Riad Dar Bayane is the place to be!

Small and tranquil riad that’s a 3 minute walk from the bustling main square. The place was recently redone with modern style, and the staff is super welcoming and nice. Breakfast is delicious and healthy, served wherever you like each morning: by the small pool, in your room or on the rooftop. Amazing value for the money, couldn’t recommend more highly. Keep in mind it is in the Medina, so to get there your taxi will drop you off at the main square and then you will walk through it and down a few small streets to reach the nearly hidden door.
Cons: Doesn’t have the features of a large hotel like a gym and a little hard to get to - but these are trade offs for quiet and a great location.

This is by far one of the best properties I have ever stayed. Our room was stunning, extremely clean and was exactly like the pictures. The Riad’s hall is absolutely gorgeous and its rooftop terrace has a fantastic view of the city. Breakfast was very delicious and offered a variety of local food. The location is also amazing making it super easy to reach all the main attractions by walk. What made our stay even more special was the Riad’s host (Moustapha) who went above and beyond to make sure we had the most pleasant stay and helped us massively get around Marrakesh given how little time we had. Next time I visit Marrakesh, I will definitely come back here

The location was just perfect: next to Djemaa el Fna but far enough from all the hustle and bustle of the old town. Dar Bayane is located in the best central location with restaurants and jma3 al fna on a handreach. Even though it is super central, it is very quiet and serene. The place is super clean, like really really clean. The host Moustapha made us feel at home, gave us tips where to eat, was super helpful and he became a real friend. He arranged airport pickup and drop off for us and stayed in contact with us from the time we booked our room until the time we left for the airport on the day we checked out . While there, we had an issue with our pickup location for our excursion and he contacted the tour operator and fixed it for us . I hate that we were only there for two nights. When we come back to Marrakesh we will definitely stay here again, and hope to see Moustapha there!

Located quite closely to the main square (not even a 5 minute walk), the property itself was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean.
Cons: Lack of communication in regards to excursions booked through the hotel, we felt we had to chase a lot of the time to find out small details, as on one occasion we were told we were booked for an excursion for one time and then we just happened to go back to the riad slightly earlier (luckily) only to find out it was earlier than we were said. More of a note to management - if you are not happy with guests paying at the end of their stay I would suggest to remove the option from booking. As receiving a message at midnight the day before we were due to check out asking to pay wasn’t the most professional, as we had to then cut our evening to go and pay, to find the card machine wasn’t charged so it was then left until the next morning. Additionally making it clear you prefer cash payments as the attitude received for wanting to pay by card from a member of staff wasn’t very polite and if not dampened our final moments of our stay.

Solo traveler, first time in Morocco. When I booked Moustapha messaged me immediately to find out if I needed transportation from the airport, he provided the cost and a driver was there to pick me up. This was extremely helpful as a female solo traveler. He met me when I arrived, took my bags and escorted me to the Riad. It would have been difficult to find on my own but a very short walk, maybe 5 minutes from the city center. The Riad was a little smaller than I expected but otherwise looked exactly like the pictures. Moustapha was hands down the most helpful person during my stay. I needed help finding a nail salon due to a nail trauma and he walked with me and translated until we found someone that could assist, accompanied me to the pharmacy and came to save me very time I got lost making my way to the Riad. They also provided meals for a small cost. As a solo traveler it was a great stay.

Riad Dar Bayane is a beautiful and stylish property in a perfect location. We were able to walk to the main attractions in the Medina within 10-12 minutes. The Riad was kept incredibly clean and the scent of our room was divine - the first thing we noticed upon arrival. We stayed in the Waffa suite which was made beautifully each day and the breakfasts and lunch we had were of very high quality. Every thought and detail has been considered in keeping the Riad to a very high standard. Moustapha was a wonderful host and gave us helpful advice from the moment of booking back in the UK until the end of our stay which we really appreciated. The friendly and hard working staff were also amazing and made our first stay in Marrakesh magical! We would love to come back and highly recommend Riad Dar Bayane to everyone!

Absolutely PERFECT! From beginning to end, everything was perfect. We've been received by Moustapha and we're greeted with some breakfast and tea. He showed us all the nice cafe's around and gave us some tips on what to do. Literally every single wish was been taken care of. Probably the cleanest rooms we've seen on ANY trip so far (not just Marrakech). There's not a single speck of dust. Cleaning was done every day, super nice and fresh breakfast. The hospitality is something we haven't experienced before. The location is right in the middle of everything but yet you enter the Riad and it's completely quiet - like an oasis. If we could, we'd rate everything 20/10. If you're not sure whether or not to book this Riad: DO IT! Because you'll never find a second Moustapha! Also a big thanks to Younes and the ladies for always being super friendly and helpful!

Very pretty Riad! The rooms are modern and clean, and they provide you with a nice breakfast. The property is in a convenient part of Marrakech and less than a 10 minute walk to the Jemaa el-fnaa square. The manager Moustapha is extremely friendly and helpful. He booked spa and dinner reservations for us as well as set up airport transportation. We really enjoyed our stay here and wish we were there for more than one night!

E V E R Y T H I N G ! This riad is truely a gem! Far most the riad manager has to be pointed out: Beginning from the communication with the riad manager, who was proactively texting us before our arrival & offered us an airport transfer, guide & asked for special needs / wishes. At our arrival he picked us up in person from the parking & took us to the riad which was a short walk away. Throughout our stay he was always there, helped the staff with breakfast & was always available for questions & tips (be it via whatsapp or in person). He & the staff were very polite & super friendly! He organised every driver for us, which were always on time - be it pick up from the riad or from the restaurant. Even when we left, he organised our luggage to be carried to the driver. A small detail but its not taken for granted. Never had such a superb service, really! The location of the riad could not be better - it is in the center of Marrakech, where you can get around by foot to many good restaurants, souks & sightseeing. Still you enjoy a peaceful sleep with no outside noises. The rooms were tastefuly furnished, spaceous, very clean. Breakfast was really yummy & served on the rooftop which you can enjoy in calm peace. 10/10 experience and totally to recommend to everyone visiting Marrakech!

Wow, where do I begin. The Riad is absolutely stunning, clean, comfortable, and the staff are all nice and friendly. The service is first class and the food is delicious. Mustapha is amazing, professional, and friendly and goes the extra mile. Despite how busy he was, he always remained friendly and professional. I initially booked at another Riad but did not like it there, so after looking around, I found Riad Dar Bayane. I read the reviews and booked it immediately. I wanted to leave the Riad i had booked ASAP and was pleasantly surprised when Mustapha contacted me to welcome me and ask what time I wanted to be picked up. I was expecting to be allowed to check in by 2pm, but I was collected around 11.30am which was perfect. When I was dropped off, Mustapha was there to meet me and was so friendly and efficient. I explained that i wanted a Hammam, which he said he'd arranged, and he did. I wanted to buy some natural oils and he took me to a shop near the Riad that sold some great oils - Everythng I wanted or enquired about, he went the extra mile to ensure I got them. I plan to visit Riad Dar Bayane next year and already cannot wait. Oh, and the Riad is as stunning as the photos you see.

Definitely recommend this Riad when staying in Marrakesh. Moustapha and all his staff went above and beyond during our whole stay. They even decorated the room for my sister’s birthday. Very clean and modern rooms and showers. The cleaning staff leave your room spotless, they do an amazing job. It also has Netflix which is a bonus. The Riad is a few minutes walk from the Jamma Al Fnaa and is in the perfect location.

Best of all was the attention received by the host at the hotel, Moustapha, who was very wecolming and helpful. Clean and modern hotel that is very well kept. Location is great, inside the Medina near Jemaa Al-Fna.

A wonderful quiet Riad in the Medina with easy access to all the sites. The key difference here, though, is the Manager, Mustapha who makes your stay a real pleasure. Nothing is too much trouble and he arranged many tours and restaurants for us. He even walked with us to ensure we were able to find our way. The rest of the staff are fantastic. The included breakfast in the morning is delicious .The rooms are very well maintained with an ensuite bathroom with a shower.

The property is literally in the heart of the Jema El Fana (The Square) - 4 minute walk from the riad to the square. Moustapha (the manager) is amazing. Always there for us, the hospitality from him and the other staff was fantastic. The rooms are cleaned everyday to a top quality, the toilets are amazing, the AC, beds, everything just amazing. We spent a lot of time with the manager in the lounge, listening to music on tv till late night, amazing time.

The property is near the old town city square and convenient to walk to sights, shops and restaurants. As soon as you walk through the front door, all city noise is eliminated and you feel you are in a little oasis and a home away from home. The best thing about RIAD DAR BAYANE are the employees. The day manager (Moustapha) organized everything before our arrival (airport taxi, booking excursions and addressing our questions), when we arrived he personally met us at the taxi and had our luggage brought to our room, he gave us a tour of the Riad and welcome refreshments and then took us on a tour of the city centre! The first evening Moustapha walked us to the restaurant and came to pick us up from the restaurant after dinner, because he knew we were not yet accustomed to finding our way around! He made us feel so welcome - like family! Moustapha, the night manager (Unis), and all the ladies who took care of our room and breakfast and refreshments went above and beyond to make feel special and cared for! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and miss everyone!

The property is nicely decorated, and very clean. I loved that the Riad cleaned our rooms every day. Moustpha the host, was amazing. He was very accommodating. He even kept our suitcases for us after checkout since we had a late flight and wanted to see more of the city. The riad is also very quite and even though there’s other guest, it doesn’t feel like there’s too many people around. We also used the pool, once your in it, it’s a lot bigger than you think. The road also had AC which was nice because Marrakech is very hot in the summer. It also has a beautiful rooftop where they offer free breakfast every morning. It’s a nice to watch the sunset and sunrise.

Moustapha was amazing and went above and beyond to help us, picking us up and dropping us off at taxis, arranging excursions and helping to book restaurants. It’s really clean thanks to the ladies working there. Breakfast was delicious and we looked forward to it every day. The location was great, easy to find among the souks and round the corner from the square.
Cons: Could do with a full length mirror in the room but wasn’t a problem. It’s also quite noisy in the mornings/nights with guests coming and going, doors slamming and the steps up to the roof terrace are loud. You get used to it though and didn’t ruin our stay at all.

We had to leave at 4am and they got up, made us coffee and walked with us to the car transfer they booked for us. Really lovely guys. The Riad was really close to the square with some great places to eat close by. We asked if the lovely cleaning ladies could do laundry for us and it was washed, ironed, folded and left on the bed in no time at all! The Riad in general is new and has a modern feel to it. Rooftop breakfasts in the sun each morning were fabulous! Thank you!!!

where do I start. Sanaa ( Riad manager) was very helpful throughout the booking process. we talked on WhatsApp , she sent voice notes answering my questions etc - she was superb! we travelled in a group of 12 for my birthday and Sanaa very kindly came to meet us in the town centre and walked us to the Riad. The Riad was stunning! WiFi worked perfectly all throughout our stay. beds were comfy and rooms were large and spacious , clean and modern ( each room had a tv and we could even login to Netflix!! ) but still a lot of character! the staff were really lovely! always helpful with our bags , or making us tea, tidying up after us. We asked for a lunch on the terrace and they delivered A FEAST!. we were there from the 30th - 1st for my birthday and had the entire Riad to ourselves ( 7 rooms ) and honestly it was the best stay! there are 3 floors including a rooftop and an outside area with Kabanas - STUNNING. Sanaa is incredible , very friendly , gave us lots of tips on where to go / how much to pay for things in the city centre. I will definitely have to come back
Cons: not a lot to fault in Riad Dar Bayane -only point as it's a small Riad and because we had it to ourselves we had to order lunch/ dinner ahead of time ( a day or 2 before ) - I didn't realise just how much notice the staff needed. it would be good to maybe have a menu or something that tells how much time is needed so guests can order ahead of time. or the kitchen can be stocked for light lunches - a sandwich / fries that sort of thing that is quick and easy. so just a tip - if you're going especially if you're taking the full Riad - plan ahead and tell Sanaa what your group would like for lunch/dinner ahead of time.

Amazing new property, facilities are exceptional. A traditional Riad experience with a modern twist. Celebrated our honeymoon & the room was set up by Nadia very well. Property is located very well near to the souks, Jmaa el fina as well as landmarks e.g. Bahia Palace. However, the best thing about the stay definitely has to be the Nadia & Younes, Nadia going above & beyond in all aspects even with the minimal french from the mrs & Younes helping to book taxis as well as escorting us to shops if we ever needed anything. Truly the best hospitality we have received anywhere.

Great friendly staff, very clean and very well maintained property. Everyone is very helpful and while being in the middle of the Medina, it is very very silent too.
Cons: Very minimal thing to improve, you have to ring the outer door to get in, and sometimes it can take a few minutes for them to hear and open the door. I’m sure this will get improved soon!

Nice location and exceptional personnel. The owner was available for any request. Value for money is honestly amazing. New Riad has been opened for two months with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Delicious and abounded breakfast that you can enjoy till 11. Riad is in the center of Medina near the square but inside is quiet and relaxing so you forget that you are in the heart of a very busy city. We strongly recommend
Cons: The wi-fi hasn’t been working at the top floors since the first day but they really tried hard and managed to fix it.
