I loved that this hotel it was a little bit away from the craziness of the markets I felt safe and Abdul and Salah were the most amazing hosts making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and I loved the small pool- essential for cooling off. Breakfast was lovely not huge but just the right amount for me as I don’t do big breakfasts - the coffee was excellent. I loved the showers in the rooms the whole place was very authentic and beautiful . The hotel also arranged the airport transfer which were on time and reliable. Our flight got cancelled and it wasn’t a problem to stay an extra night and for the hotel to sort us out with new airport transfers. The hotel also has a lovely roof terrace- I can not wait to return.
Cons: It’s charm was how quiet the hotel was - however a bar on the roof to get refreshments would of been nice

The staff (Salem I believe) was outstanding. He greeted us at the door, a welcoming snack was provided, he marked up a map for all sights and the best way to get there through the maze. He also arranged for great transportation to the airport. Wish I had asked him to get us from train station to airport. Taxi outside was expensive and dropped us off not even close to hotel. They provided a delicious breakfast every morning and as a result we had dinner one night at hotel. As well delicious. My only comment is to Expedia needs to update site. Hotel has 1 pool which is enough, not 4 as listed in Expedia description.

The staff were amazing. The location was very good, close to the taxi stand as well as the souks. The neighbouring riad was very helpful and allowed us to sit when we'd lost our key. We were able to get taxis to the airport from the riad, and breakfast was nice too.
Cons: I would have liked some protein with breakfast, whether it be an egg or some sausage, etc. Was very good otherwise.

Everything about the Riad Amegrad was fantastic - we were exceptionally well looked after - the rooms were spotless. Breakfast was great, slightly different each day. We had lunch most days and left it to the cook - the quality and variation was fantastic. Salah and Abdul couldn’t do enough for you. In terms of location you couldn’t find better to get around Marrakech. Abdul arranged transfers and pick ups which made the whole trip seamless. Communication was great - I really could not fault Riad Amegrad or the team that worked there.

The staff at the riad set up our transportation which was helpful to get to the riad and when we arrived was able to help set up transportation to go to the airport. Our host met us and helped with our bags. He was very kind and able to serve us a delicious breakfast the day we arrived since we were not able to eat breakfast the day we left due to an early flight. We only stayed one night due to this was the end of our trip. The riad was very clean and even had our room earlier than expected which was a nice surprise. Our room was on the 2nd floor and our host helped us bring our luggage upstairs (note there are no elevators).
Cons: The only negative thing was the smell of the bathroom but this is probably normal for older riads. We were on the 2nd floor room at the end of the hallway. We were only there one night so it did not bother us much. Other than this, our stay was perfect!

Absolutely lovely staff. Very organised and on the ball. Tasty breakfast. Quite quiet location and only 5 min walk to the markets. Nice rooftop terrace. Felt authentic.
Cons: Was disappointed by how small the 'triple' room was. Extremely cramped and just one coffee table and no other surfaces to put anything. Very dim lighting. Loud, awkward doors with stiff locks. Cleaner kept putting all the furniture back where we had moved it all for convenience. Hardly any sockets either.

Great location. Close enough to the buzz of the old town and main square. Far enough from it and the continuous noise from the motorbikes.
Cons: The sound insulation in the rooms, as one can hear everything in the court yard. I guess a room on the second floor is better for this reason.

Everything from the beginning to the end of the stay in this Riad was perfect. The location is a few minutes walk from the main square. Excellent location. The hosts were available 0/24. We arranged transportation from the airport and back with them. Everything was on time and Abdul welcomed us when we arrived. At the reception, we received welcome tea and instructions on where to eat and what to see in Marrakech. They cleaned the room every day and gave us clean towels. The Riad is quiet, you might hear a little murmuring of people while eating breakfast, but that's part of the experience and it didn't bother us. The beds are comfortable and clean, the breakfast was excellent. Breakfast is more sweet than salty, but the ladies from the kitchen kindly prepared eggs for breakfast. We definitely recommend the riad.

This riad is so beautiful and tranquil, the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Very clean and lots of fresh towels. The staff is super helpful, they even offered to send the earpods I left in the room back to my country with some other guests. Highly recommend!
Cons: The riad (like all riads) is very noise sensitive... Some people were having a late dinner and stayed up talking in the courtyard next to our room, this was very noisy for me as a light sleeper, but I guess it's part of the experience.

We have just come back from a wonderful stay at the Riad Amegrad. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to be close enough to the main center but still having some peace and quiet. All the staff were very professional and attentive. The taxi drops you off close by as the road doesn't allow cars down it but someone from the riad comes to pick you up and take you there. It was all a very smooth process. Our bedroom slept 4 and the courtyard was a beautiful sight to wake to every morning. On our last day we had lunch (paid extra) and it was set out and ready on time and absolutely delicious. I would stay again.
Cons: We were happy with our stay.

A very nice place, very close to every bustle and hustle in Marrakesk but inside Riad is very silent. Tea and cookies to welcom us. A room looks exactly like on photos. Is bigger than I thougth. Bed and linen are VERY comfortable, a real mattress, not a sponge, what was important to me. Extraordinary breakfast on patio. You can ordere some eggs and they prepare a quite good coffe. Many side dishes, fruits, yogurt, evry days one or two things were dieffrent. It os a 5-7 minutes away from a main market and the rest interesting place.

Really friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful and peaceful styling within the riad. Catered well for our vegetarian requirements for breakfast. Abdul really helpful for booking trips and offering us a relaxing mint tea when returning from long days out. Riad very well located for the souks etc. Most sights within easy walking distance. We even walked fairly easily to/from the majorelle gardens. No complaints, would definitely recommend.

Excellent localization of the place, famous tourist attractions are within walking distance. The owner of the riad is very helpful, hospitable, is always ready to fulfill requests, gives useful advice, tries to make guests feel comfortable. We communicated with him directly and via WhatsApp. Delicious traditional breakfast, mint tea. There is a lounge area with sunbeds and tables on the roof terrace and a small pool inside the riad. It is possible to book various day tours for an additional fee.
Cons: Wifi connection was weak, but equipment was updated during our stay. The pillows were not comfortable. As the windows of the rooms open onto the riad's courtyard, it can be noisy in the evenings when the riad is fully occupied. Despite these minor inconveniences, we highly recommend staying at this property.

Our stay at this riad was fantastic. The owner was very friendly and provided us with a SIM card, organized transport to the airport and explained the area where we were staying in detail. The room was nice and clean. We liked the breakfast and had dinner there too, which was really tasty and served in the small courtyard. The Riad is very centrally located, so we were able to reach everything we wanted to see on foot. We, as three young girls, felt very safe and welcomed in this Riad and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Marrakech for a few days. We will be back for sure someday. :)

What a lovely place to stay. Was perfect for a weekend stay in Marrakech. It's a Riad so we knew not to expect it to be plush - we didn't want it to be! The rooms were clean, beds made daily and the decor really made us feel like we were sampling the culture of Morocco. Over and above everything else was the hospitality. Abdul the manager paid so much attention to detail. He contacted us a few days before to help with airport transfers, bought flowers for my mum's birthday and even helped with special food as one of us is gluten-free. We really couldn't have been cared for better and would totally recommend this Riad as a cultural base to explore Marrakech!
Cons: Some things weren't perfect but completely outweighed by giving us the feeling of living in a Moroccan abode!

This was the first Riad that my wife and I stayed at during our Morocco trip. Corresponding with Abdul (manager) was extremely easy as Abdul was very responsive. We were immediately blown away by the beauty of the courtyard, with mood lighting and gentle music. We were treated to delicious tea and cookies (some of the best we had on our trip). Our room was also gorgeous, slightly smaller than other Riads but this actually made it cozy and enjoyable. The location is great, just a 7 min walk from Jemaa el Fnaa, and the Riad is located on a very quiet street in a safe part of the medina. We also can't say enough good things about Abdul. He took the time to draw out on a map walking directions from the Riad to all the major highlights in Marrakech, which was extremely helpful. In addition, on our last day we were running late to catch our train. We were going to miss the train if we tried to catch our own taxi from the square. Adbul immediately jumped into action and drove us to the train station himself and didn't ask for anything in return. He is a gem!

Look no further for the best riad in Marrakesh! We’ve lived in Morocco for 3 months, and stayed in many riads in many cities (including other riads in Marrakesh) and my 3 kids proclaimed this “The best riad EVER!” Perfect location, close to everything, we walked to shops and the square and souks. It is beautifully decorated in the traditional style with an amazing terrace. Comfortable beds, great for families, kids loved the small pool. The courtyard has beautiful plants and fruit trees. Your host Abdul is so wonderful, kind, and accommodating. He gave us a map of Marrakesh and sightseeing recommendations and walking directions to get there. He helped us organize transfers from train station and a day trip to Ait Ben Heddou, and checked on us everyday. Overall wonderful stay, perfect location, lovely and well appointed spaces. Look no further, just stay here!!

Riad Amegrad is very nice, cosy place, good for family and single. The Manager Abdul is very helpfull man, who kindly can arrange you all what you need and discuss the best attraction to visit. Even if there was summer time, more than 40C outside, in riad you can find aircondition and swimming pool, small but good for relaxing time. Breakfest are very tasty, full of original meals. This place is in Medina, close to main market. We recommend that place very much.

The riad is very conveniently located in a quiet small alley in medina and is very close to the main square Jeena al Fna. It's small and intimate, with a beautiful courtyard, a handful of rooms and a lovely rooftop terrasse. The Rhiad is well decorated. Abdul is a great host and very helpful, organising our trip out to the dessert for us, which was amazing. The breakfast is wonderful and very filling. The housekeeper is a star. There is a super roof terrace.

From the first moment of communication, Abdul was very helpful and attentive to our arrival. His presence and guidance were extremely helpful and always accompanied by a smile and a pot of hot tea. Thank you so much Abdul for making us feel at home during our stay in Marrakech. Hope to see you again soon.

Riad Amegrad is in the perfect location: 5-10 minutes walk from central Marrakech, but just far enough away to be a quiet and relaxing spot to unwind. The interior of the Riad is beautiful, full of trees and flowers, and the rooftop was a really nice place to catch some late afternoon sun with a book. I also liked that the Riad isn't massive - only 4 or 5 rooms - which gave the place quite a chilled and intimate feel. The manager, Abdul, was very helpful and communicative, always around if we needed some advice or quick to respond if I messaged him via the Booking.com app.
Cons: If I was being picky, our mattress could do with being turned over or updated - it had started to sink at one end.

The Riad was wonderful and very well kept. Everything was clean, the location was in walkable distance from everything and the breakfast was amazing. The biggest sell point is without a doubt the manager Abdul. Besides being extremely helpful helping us know the locations to see, he was always kind. The offered Tea when we arrived every day after dinner was always a pleasure to have. Abdul made all the experience and the stay at the Riad amazing, and we will always remember the laughter we shared with him every night.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.

This is a well run Riad centrally located near Jemaa El Fna. The host is very friendly and helpful and so are the ladies who run the kitchen and manage the rooms. We had an excellent breakfast with pancakes, jams, honey, bread, eggs, coffee, tea and enjoyed a mint tea on arrival, all served in a pleasant courtyard with an orange tree. The room was spacious with a comfortable well sized bed and a clean ensuite shower/bathroom. The Internet was good.
Cons: One needs to walk - a couple of streets - to reach it from a nearby square, which was not a problem for us.

Location very close to the Medina, building atmosphere is as pictured and relaxed. The room a is comfortable and best of all, the staffs; Abdul the young manager who is very friendly with prompt helpfulness with all needed, warm welcome reception, showed the area precisely, calling the taxi, printing the ticket, explaining everythings that we should know etc. And Mina the service lady who takes care of our room and excellent warm breakfast. They made our first days in Marrakesh really pleasant.

Lovely Riad! Our host Abdul was amazing, he welcomed us with moroccan mint tea, showed us everything on the map, even woke up much earlier to prepare us breakfast. The location was also great, just 4 mins walk from the main square. if you are coming to Marrakech, I highly recommend you to stay here!

When we were already in airport about to board flight to Morocco, we received email from hotel Riad Aguerzame asking us to cancel reservation because they had some kind of issues and according to them, they couldn’t cancel it themselves. They told us in that email that other hotel near by should have rooms for us. The alternative hotel appeared to be completely booked. I did ask Riad Aguerzame via email whether we would have to pay late fees in case of cancellation and got no reply. They wouldn’t answer phone as well. Considering the time restriction, we did what Riad Aguerzame asked us to do and cancelled the hotel. Since it was less than 24 hours before check in we got charged late fees. From here on I’ve wrote multiple emails and left messages via Expedia asking hotel to return the late fees since they asked us to cancel without any advance notice, but got absolutely no answer. In the end, they left us with no hotel on the first day in foreign country and took our money for nothing. Very dishonest! Complete scam. Expedia was not able to return us money as well since the hotel refused to do it. Don’t risk making a reservation with them. Ours was made almost 6 month in advance.

Since we were arriving around 10pm, we booked an airport transfer through the Riad which worked out great. When we arrived, Aziz came to the van to meet us, and lead us to the Riad. The riad is in a residential area of the Medina, which is much better than being in the tourist area where you deal with a lot of people trying to hassle you. In this area, the locals were peaceful, just going on about their day. In the morning Aziz walked us to the main area (which was extremely helpful), and once we did the walk once, we always knew where to go. Breakfast here was very good. The room was clean and nice. The AC worked GREAT! The only surprise was there was no lock on the room doors, which I had never experienced before. We weren't traveling with valuables, but in case you are, you might want to bring your own lock to lock the door once your room has been cleaned (we saw people using the TSA luggage locks from their suitcases). Although There is lock on the main door of the building which you get a key for. Aziz was very accommodating our last morning, to serve us an early breakfast, as we were departing for a desert tour. He even packaged up some pastries for us to take on the tour. Overall I would highly recommend this Riad!

The location was great, quiet but close enough to the action. Once you know the way you are 100% fine. The service from Aziz and his team was second to none, they truly made you feel like family. The advice we received was also very handy as first timers. The room and riad were great. The breakfast was amazing, didn't have lunch until 2pm one day we had do much. Definite value for money. I will recommend to everyone I know.

It was an amazing place to stay. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The room was sparkling clean and tidy. There was hot water and the riad was easy to find if someone had showed it to you first. Breakfast was simple but delicious. I would recommend to use the hotel to arrange transfer to and from the airport.

I really cannot say enough about how amazing the staff is here!. I would gladly recommend this riad to anyone based upon how these guys went above and beyond for their guests. We considered staying outside the Medina at a more luxurious larger hotel but I am glad we decided to stay here given we wanted an authentic Riad experience. Abelaziz made you feel like family. The Riad itself is situated in the Medina and yes it can be hard to find but these guys go out of there way to ensure you know where you are going if needed. Our room for three females was spacious and set up so we really felt comfortable. The bathroom always had plenty of hot water. Housekeeping was great. In the morning we were provide with coffee, fresh orange juice, homemade bread and pancakes. All delicious within the pretty courtyard setting. They really made our first visit to Morocco a positive unforgettable experience which I cannot thank them enough for!
