Location was great, easy to get to all main attractions. Room was good size and clean. Hassan was always friendly and smiling and told us a lot about the Morrocan people and culture. Given map on arrival. We opted for the taxi which took the stress out of trying to find the Riad and that was good. The fresh orange juice at breakfast was delicious. The massage was quiet and relaxing.

Cons: No view at all and no pool. No tea/coffee facilities in room and when requested cups, boiling water in a flask and a little milk, 10 euros was added to our bill. We were also told not to break the cups! Not once were we offered mint tea or any other drink when we came back from a day out and we stayed 7 nights. Only 1 bottle of water supplied on arrival and then told we had to buy our own. The food in the Riad was very average, more bone than meat, one dish burnt and very expensive for what it was, you're better to eat out at nearby restaurants. Breakfast was basic and same everyday, no fresh fruit and coffee really bad. Definitely not 4 star Riad, think they are rated highly because the higher the rating the higher the tourist tax. Also they only accept cash, we were told we could settle the whole bill at the end of our stay but then asked after our massage to pay so had to go out to a cash machine to draw cash, not very relaxing. Owner barely spoke to us and found him quite unfriendly.

Fazit: Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. The riad was lovely and the breakfast was great.

Cons: The actual property we had no complaints about. However when we arrived in the small square, a man was there with a cart and said he would take our bags. It was implied he was part of the hotel. We only had one case so declined…. To find it was only a 30 second walk from hotel. Also younger boys were telling us we weren’t allowed to go through a no entry sign for a pedestrianised /motorbike walkway and they would ‘show us the way’. We were half expecting something like this so after being followed by them down the alley they eventually left us alone having been firm with them. Turns out that you can walk up the no entry street. That sign was intended for vehicles only. The lads still asked for money even though they hadn’t shown us the way!

A lovely Riad, just as described and clean and comfy beds, and air-con worked well. Hassan was very welcoming and informative, couldnt do enough for you. Breakfast served on the roof top in morning was excellent with option to have omelette/eggs - all home made and fresh, especially the jams/honey and yoghurts! The location is down a quiet alley and you cant hear a thing from the hustle and bustle during the night. Walking distance, 5-10min, to all the main attractions. We asked if they could do a wash for us as we were running out of clean clothes (only packed a small rucksack each) and this was no problem, only a few euros.

Cons: As far as we could tell on Bookings.com website the Riad should take credit card payments, however on settling our bill for extras such as Spa treatment/washing, we were told cash only. We did see the sign at reception 'cash only' however as they also had a card machine we assumed we could pay with card, and to cash money in Morocco is expensive and the ATMs constantly ran out of money/ or didnt work.

It was very clean, beautiful and spacious rooms and the breakfast was delicious. Also the Spa offers really good massage.

Cons: I think the Riad, while beautiful, lacks a bit of charm or enchantment. I think it is good for winter time, probably not for summer; a pool would have made a huge difference. The lounge is beautiful but a bit dusty.

The staff were exceptional: incredibly friendly, nothing was a problem, everything was both professional and welcoming. The place was immaculate also, which I imagine takes much work due to the local dust! The Riad itself was like a little oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle: location is excellent if you want to visit the markets, Jeema El-Fna and be in a central location. Once inside the Riad though it was peacefully quiet, with a very zen atmosphere. We took several trips to visit Morocco more widely and found the location quite good that we were an hour or less to the places we wanted to visit, with taxi options booked directly from the Riad. The breakfast each morning was lovely, and having different areas to sit each day was a bonus. We also both used the spa and highly recommend - as someone who gets regular massage, and goes to spas across the world, this was one of the best experiences I've had in years! It definitely added to our experience.

Cons: Nothing to do with the Riad itself or the staff - the use of motorbikes on very narrow streets wasn't good, but this is a local issue, and you do get more used to it the longer the stay!

Excellent location walking distance to almost all tourist attractions within Medina. Only 20 mins ride to/ from Marrakech airport. The place itself is so relaxing. We stayed in the golden room called Doree room. Feel like staying in resort. Kind cleaners came in daily to tidy our room. Feel so relaxed during our stay there. Staff and Guesthouse owner were lovely and very kind to us. Highly recommended.

Cons: Nothing really. Maybe just my little preferences. We knew in advance that there's no TV but to us it would be even better to have it. But it doesn't affect our stay at all.

Seen Moon is a truly enchanting place, a peaceful haven that feels like a slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Every detail was delightful, and the atmosphere radiated serenity and warmth. Hassan is the heart and soul of the riad, he is a guide, a friend, and a shining example of genuine Moroccan hospitality. The rest of the staff, as well as the owner, were equally kind, welcoming, and full of warmth. Through them, we experienced the true beauty of Morocco. The riad is 7 min walk to Jemaa el efna square. It has a relaxing recieving area for an afternoon tea. The staff were very thoughtful and accommodating which we appreciated a lot. They even prepared a takeaway breakfast as early as 7am as we were scheduled for a very early excursion one morning. They gave safety tips for first time comers in Morocco. We love that they have a spa facility to experience traditional Hammam and massage after a tiring day. The room service is exceptional as the room was tidied daily. The whole stay felt like you have a family in a foreign country as they took care of even the smallest thing we need. Will definitely coming back! Thanks Hassan and Moha!

Cons: The staff were amazing but I went there to celebrate my birthday which they were aware of so I didn't expect to be put in a small brown room next to the kitchen which was very noisy I really wanted rest and relaxation the noise was terrible every morning and room too small Staff and location were perfect and the shower was great

A very beautiful riad, a beautiful room connected to the top terrace (at least for us) which in turn was also beautiful and cozy. For the time we spent in it - which except sleeping was little - was perfect for us. Thank you for our hosts who took good care of us and were communicative and helpful - Thank you for having us.

Cons: We didn't enjoyed the roads near to the riad. Filled with motorcycles and dust, but luckily, after a short walk you get out of it - that if you chose the right direction. Still, this is not riad fault, reason why they get 10/10 from me - but maybe in time they will vote/ push to have Marrakesh also adopt a motorbike free medina which will help traders, tourists and life in general. Not to mention that they should get a license to ride motorcycles, after an exam! - never saw so many (light) crashes in my life, while driving in Morocco

First of all, I think you are better off staying at a riad than a hotel, like I have done. It is more authentic and more homey vibes than a hotel. The area was decent can’t complain. The Riad was very nice and warm and was just great in general. The staff were super nice and they are actually so welcoming and they will take care of you during your stay. The breakfast was healthy and had a nice variety, all homemade and fresh, made by the staff. Had no issues at all when we stayed there for 7 days. The markets was only like max 10 mins walk away from the Riad, and what I would recommend is paying attention to the surroundings so you know how to get back to the Riad ahahah! But overall, my family enjoyed staying here and there was nothing to complain about really. So, thank you to the staff and would recommend staying here again. 😀

Very convenient location, like 7 minutes walking to Jemaa el-Fna and same time to Bahia palace and still quite to rest. The riad is beautiful and our room Africa which was on the top floor, was spacious and very comfortable. Beds were great. A fabulous Riad in a great location, a 10 minute walk through the souks to Jemaa El Fna and all other tourist locations within walking distance. Taxis can drop you off a very short distance to the riad which i very handy when you are first time visitors. We stayed in the Africa suite which was amazing with direct access to the terrace giving you get a great view of the sunrise with the added bonus of hearing the calls to prayer. The room was always spotless and smelt amazing so massive thanks to the housekeeping. The riad can arrange dinner which was handy on the first night whilst we were getting our bearings. The dinner was fantastic and we were able to get a bottle of good Moroccan wine alongside the tasty food. Compliments to the chef! Exceptional service from Hassan during the meal and throughout the stay, he always had time for a friendly chat. He took the time on arrival to go through restaurants, banks, tips & safety advice to survive Marrakech! lol. Breakfast was plentiful, with fresh breads, jams, coffee, juice and omlettes if required. Moha did a great job ensuring we were looked after. I recommend the riad service taxi as it meant you got a relaxing ride through the Medina without concern of prices. For first time visitors of this crazy but amazing city, i can't think of a better place to stay.

Cons: I can't think of any negative comments about this Riad. It was an exceptional place to stay.

Cons: This is a tip for other tourists . When my taxi dropped me off near the Riad which I organized through the Riad , a guy came up to me to take my luggage . I did not want him taking it as it was literally a minute walk to the riad . When a staff member appeared to meet me , I then assumed the guy taking my luggage was working with the Riad. It turned out he was not and then demanded money from me . He seemed very annoyed but I made it clear from the beginning that I wanted to take my own luggage .

Even before we arrived at Raid See Moon we were impressed with the service and professionalism of the staff that work there. All of the staff who work here are friendly and polite. We would also like to mention in particular, Moha and Hassan, who were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. No problem too big or too small for their assistance. The Riad is small and independent close to the main square. It is a great location for exploring the centre of Marrakech. The spa attached is lovely and you can book treatments, excursions and airport transfers easily at the hotel reception. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast each morning and the rooftop terrace was a great place to sit and enjoy the lovely weather. We cannot recommend the hotel enough. Thank you for our stay.

Our family had an incredible stay at this Riad in Marrakesh! From start to finish, everything was top-class, making it a perfect choice for our family getaway. The atmosphere was enchanting, blending Moroccan charm with modern comfort. We had two separate rooms, both beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the quiet ambiance ensured a restful night’s sleep. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, whether it was organizing activities, recommending places to eat, or serving delicious breakfasts. The communal areas, including the courtyard and rooftop terrace, were great spaces to unwind as a family. The Riad’s location was also ideal, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to explore the Medina with ease. It provided the perfect balance of peace and proximity to Marrakesh’s vibrant sights. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this Riad to families or anyone looking for a cozy, high-quality stay. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Marrakesh!

Both guys were really lovely. We enjoyed a nice tea when the room was being prepared. A little later my husband became quite ill but I felt well supported and he felt better a couple of days later. The Raid was beautiful as was our room. A great breakfast.

Cons: It was a little difficult to find. Once we got as far as we could in the taxi the driver phoned the Raid and one of the guys met us helping with our bags. For some strange reason, the cost was a little higher than when we booked it. I did not notice until we got home.

Tranquil and relaxing accommodation, staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Hassan who went above and beyond. Good location.

Cons: Parking was a bit rogue, keys had to be handed over to a rather unprofessional random man.

The location of this place was great. It was such a tranquil and peaceful place to stay. The staff were ever so kind and helpful. Mint tea was offered as soon as we arrived with lovely biscuits. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast every morning was fresh and tasty. The Hammam and massage facility was really good as were the massage ladies who carried out the Hammam and massage. All in all a very beautiful road to stay in. The staff organised a taxi to the airport and when we left we were given takeaway breakfast which the staff didn't have to but they did. The hospitality was something else.

This Riad has the most amazing staff! Hassan was so welcoming and knowledgeable, Moha also was so kind, they both couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. We also had fabulous spa treatments, again with amazing staff! Location is brilliant, 10 minutes walk to the square where all the action is! Also right beside car park pick up area for all taxis and excursion pick ups. Don’t be put off by the narrow side streets it’s a bit overwhelming at first! The rooms are beautiful, spotless and so calm. Breakfast was delicious, served on the rooftop. There is a beautiful sense of calm about the Riad.

Cons: Nothing!

Everything! A calm oasis in an otherwise hectic (and amazing) city. Hassan made us feel welcome and relaxed from the minute we arrived, highly knowledgeable with excellent English. Incredible breakfasts on the roof terrace, relaxing traditional tea in the afternoon. The Hamam massage was fantastic with incredibly expert staff. The owner took over for our last day as the hotel was closing for local holidays, again, nothing was too much trouble. We will be returning!

Cons: We didn't book long enough! But this will be remedied with a return visit

The staff were exceptional, extremely warm, welcoming and trustworthy. You could rely on them for any information or advice, Hassan made us a pot of moroccan tea a few times to chat over. The breakfasts at the riad were definitely a highlight of our trip - so fresh, made with care and a bit different every morning! The riad is beautiful, we were in the ‘brown’ room (this is the smallest type of room) which is on the bottom floor and it was very clean. Location is great as it’s in the heart of the medina, we found we were able to walk wherever we needed to go.

We had the most incredible two days in this beautidul oasis. From the minute we arrived we were put at ease with a warm welcome from Moha, who gave us great recommendations for places to eat and must sees in Marrakesh - they were spot on! Anytime we needed help with something Moha and Hassan were there for us. Couldn't have asked for a better way to end our first (definitely not last) trip to Morroco. Thank you so much and see you again soon!

Hassan and Mohammed are very kind and welcoming. They are very true people and it is a pleasant atmosphere to be in the road with them. We enjoyed a lot our staying in this riad, the rooms are very comfy comfortable and the price is good compared with other riads that are more expensive and with lower quality experience.

Really nice riad. The rooms have all the essentials such as air con, ensuite, wifi, etc. Nice fresh breakfast served every morning. 7/8 minutes walk from the Medinah and the riad can be reached by car unlike some other riads in the old town so very handy for getting airport transfers, getting collected for excursions, etc. The hosts were brilliant - Hassan & Moha were extremely helpful. Hassan gave us lots of info and helped us book airport transfers plus some excursions. The local advice made our stay in Marrakech much easier and we really appreciated all the help. Would really recommend staying here. Hosts were fantastic.

This Riad was really amazing! The location, breakfast and the service is perfect. The Riad is right in the medina with just an eight minute walk to the Jamaa el fnaa. You would normally think twice about booking a Riad right in the centre because of how hectic and chaotic the city can be but the location of this Riad was good. It was in a quiet area where u can get a good night sleep without hearing the busy city. I loved the breakfast too. The food consisted of a traditional breakfast served with tea, coffee and jus d’orange on the side. I do have to say that the breakfast is pretty light but this wasn’t an issue for me. The service was great. Moha, the guy who helped us, is a gem. He is always there when we you need him. Another thing that might be important to certain people is the parking and reaching the Riad by car: we found out that there was one way to get to the parking by car and it was by entering the streets via “Bab Ghmat”. So I would advise to navigate to the Riad and add “Bab Ghmat” and “Pharmacie Douar Graoua” as a stop. You’ll find the parking at the end of the street. The Riad is reachable by walking. You can ask locals to tell you where exactly the Riad is, or u just navigate to it on Google Maps. All in all, my family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Riad See Moon et Spa and we recommend it to everyone. I hope to come back in the future!

Wow, what an amazing experience we had in this Riad - everything exceeded our expectations! From the moment we first contacted the Riad, to the moment they waved us goodbye, everything was perfect. In no particular order: 1. Any time I sent them a message, either via Booking.com or WhatsApp, they immediately responded with very useful information. 2. The Riad’s location is excellent, a 1 minute walk from where a taxi can drop the guests off. It is of course in the old Medina, but very quiet all day long. The Riad is in a top condition, very tastefully decorated. Has a great spa, breakfast and dinner were served on the rooftop. Whenever we ate there, we were always the only guests there on the rooftop, so it felt like a “private” Riad. 3. Moha and Hssain (the two gentlemen running the Riad), were incredibly nice, helpful, made us feel as if we were in their home. We spent a lot of time talking with them, and learnt so much about Moroccan cultures, customs etc. We will definitely return!

Great location, short walk from local shops and the main square. Tranquil and serene inside, stunning decor. Friendly staff who are very helpful. Good selection at breakfast, the French toast was fantastic & the yoghurts were delicious.

Cons: Nothing to dislike… A menu for breakfast where you can select eggs etc would be good.

It was a little closer to the square than our previous Riad.

Cons: The sink was always slow, so unpleasant. The shower water comes out to the floor every time we showered. After the first night we went on a trip for two nights and three days. When we came back after our trip at night we found the door to our room was open wide. The staff said it was kept open to air out the room. Our room was on the ground level open to the common courtyard. I found my luggage, which I closed tight before I left , was open. I thought it was strange. We asked for a small breakfast the next morning at 6:30 am since we had to leave early. The staff refused it first and later promised to get it arranged. There was no one around and no breakfast in the morning. The facility was larger than our previous Riad, but nothing particularly attractive or special. When I got home I realized my kindle was missing, which I never took out of my luggage during my whole trip!

See Moon Spa Riad went above and beyond our expectations in every way! Moha and Hassan were very welcoming, friendly and helpful with exceptional hospitality! We felt very well looked after and more than welcome from our first to last day at the riad. The Riad itself was extremely peaceful and quiet to be in. Everything was clean and tidy. It smelt amazing of orange blossom which for us will be the smell of Morocco as we remember it. Our room was freshened up everyday by the cleaning staff, who also added roses as a nice appreciated touch. We will definitely miss our peaceful breakfasts in the riad, either on the rooftop garden in the sun, or below the orange trees of the Riad, Hassan did a wonderful job of serving us a variety of fresh breakfasts and drinks and was very helpful with his local knowledge and recommendations! I can definitely recommend having the first evening meal at the Riad also, as that saved us from looking around the city for something nice on our arrival and was an exceptional meal to have in such a wonderfully peaceful Riad, just perfect! All in all, we would undoubtedly do this again with See Moon Spa Riad as we know exactly what to expect next time! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A very cute Riad, placed perfectly in very central part of Old Town in Marrakech. Walkable distance from most of attractions. The interior in rooms is so well designed, perfect for couples. If you can afford it, i suggest you to take the suite room, alone the beautiful bathroom is worth it, the bathtub large enough for 2 people! :D

Cons: Basically the only thing, we have had a issue with was wifi connection at our suite room in upper terrance, it was very far away from the center suite, so the connection was little poor.

The riad was beautiful and offered a lovely Spa/ Hammam service. The blue room was very spacious with a large private bathroom. We were able to use the kitchen facilities whenever we wanted to (the room did not have a kettle, mini bar or other amenities as hotels may have). We were able to walk to all of the main spots (Jemma el fna, Jardin Secret, Bahia Palace, Kutoubia Mosque). Moha and Ibtesam took great care of us.

Cons: The entrance was located in an alleyway/ back side and the footpaths to all of the locations were very narrow.

Beautiful Riad recently renovated with a lovely terrace and patio, nice rooms with comfortable beds, very attentive staff and a very good breakfast. It is well located, close to the markets and all the action of Marrakech, but on a quiet street and no noise at night.

Cons: There are some streets under construction right now around the riad. It wasn't the noise, but the dust, it's not so pleasant for walking, but we understand that it's important to renovate the medina.

First of all, our host Moha. From the first moment to the last, always making sure we were confortable and provided with every need. We also got to see him helping other guests with various simultaneous requests, tireless and always with a smile and a helpful word. Constant in his hard and incredible work. Our stay would not be the same without his presence, who made us feel truly at home. And he will always be a great part in our memory of these days. Would come back again a thousand times. We are assured that it will be the case with you if you book this riad. Secondly, everything else. Room, breakfast, common area, noise, rest of staff, etc. Perfect. It was our first experience at a riad and we fell in love. The location is very central, 5min walk to Bahia Palace and 10min walk to Jemma El-Fna. Third and last, the smell in the riad is fantastic, a true pleasure, which makes that the extra touch to perfect the riad.

Cons: Nothing, everything was perfection.
