Great service. Kofi was great at welcoming us and was very helpful. Decent room for the price and fab breakfast. Away from the Medina so less chaotic and some exposure to how the locals live which is nice to see.
Cons: Streets you have to walk through to get to the hotel isn’t the nicest as it’s the back streets of market so was quite dirty. I wouldn’t recommend staying here as a solo female traveler because of the walking route you’d need to take. Riad is a lot darker than the pictures and not the highest of standard. Says it’s a 4 star hotel on google but would say it’s more a good 3 star.

The Riad is very nice and picturesque. Upon arriving we were receiving with a welcome tea and cookies, and a complete tour of the Riad. The staff was friendly and kind to help us settle on our first day in Marrakesh. We had breakfast and dinner every day at the Riad and always with a different moroccan dish made by the Riad's chef. We had a heated pool/jacuzzi for our evenings after spending the day out in Marrakesh. The staff was always available, with special reference to Zakaria, that worked all of the nights and was always there to help us plan our next day and making sure everything was of our liking.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Rodaina! The location is convenient, especially being close to the airport and within walking distance to many of Marrakech’s attractions. The riad itself is stunning — we were genuinely surprised at how beautiful it was when we first walked in. The terrace is lovely and peaceful, and the room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable, and everything looked just as pictured. What really made our stay extra special was the staff, especially Yousef. He greeted us with a warm smile and lovely tea upon arrival, gave us a tour of the riad, and made sure all our needs were taken care of throughout our stay. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating — truly a gem. Please keep him, he’s an asset to the riad!
Cons: If there’s one thing to note, the riad can be a little tricky to find if you don’t have mobile data, so we highly recommend getting a local SIM card at the airport. Also, while the welcome tour was a nice touch, it would have been great to be asked if we were up for it, as we were quite exhausted after traveling.

Great location: plenty of atmosphere but away from the craziness of the medina. Staff tried hard to be helpful.
Cons: Decor is rather impersonal and the white light is harsh. I rejected the first room I was offered, whose only ventilation was a window above the toilet cistern opening onto the ground floor reception area. The windows of the room I occupied also opened onto the ground floor reception area and smelled of damp. Breakfast was adequate but lacked any homemade touches.

Beautifully decorated Riad in an excellent location within the Kasbah, including breakfast on their rooftop terrace.

Well first off let me say our family loved Marrakech as a whole. People were amazingly warm and friendly less the occasional scammer looking for a few Dirham. As far as the Riad Rodaina excellent as well. They have as many staff as guests and it shows. The hot tub in the courtyard was nice and clean and breakfast was fresh with omelettes made to order. The neighborhood around the place might look a little sketchy when you first arrive, but we never had any issues with safety even well after dark. The rooftop area had a nice seating area and great views up on top. This place exuded a sense of family and we were sad to leave. This location is excellent with walking to almost everything including excellent restaurants. Keep in mind when you are booking this property that it is meant for 2 people per room not 3. Management worked with us on this problem. On your way to the tombs don’t miss a tiny restaurant “the Menthe” great food.

Staying at the riad Rodaina was an unforgettable experience. It is located in the older part of Marrakesh, but this was not a negative as it made us feel the vibe of how most people live there. Close to the riad there were also shops like the ones you find at the main souk, but we found that the sellers there were not trying to sell at exorbitant prices although we were tourists. The food was unique and everyday there was a different menu. It felt like home away from home. We met the cook and honestly we felt like we knew her. Everyone from the cleaners to the manager were exceptionally caring and made us feel like we were part of an extended family. We have never had this experience before in any other place we visited. However, the best part of our experience in the riad was our interactions and long discussions with the three male main members of staff who were always around. A big shout out to Osama who is the gentlest and most well-spoken man we met and a massive shout out to Brahim, who felt like a long lost friend, even a relative. He is a linguist and very educated and we enjoyed our discussions around politics, religion, linguistics and so much more. He gave us insight to the real Morocco and we were impressed by his openness and kindness. Words are not enough to describe what an amazing time we had because of each and every one of them. They went above and beyond to please us. As I said, we never had experienced something like that before and although we live in the UK, we are Greeks and come from a country that is considered hospitable to its core. And this says a lot as this love and care is nothing we have ever experienced anywhere we have been around the world.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like, but if I have to mention something I found that the water of the jacuzzi was a little cold for me although it was not cold at all objectively. My husband found it exactly the right temperature! I think it was a little cold mainly because the centre of the riad is an open area mostly, and the temperature would drop during the night hours as it was winter. Also, although not a negative, our room had no natural light and this felt like a cave. It was very traditional and cozy though and this is my fault as when I booked the rooms, I think I chose the cheapest option. When we arrived, the staff showed us around the other rooms and they were exceptional, so next time we will know. As I said, these are not negative aspects of the place, just personal preference.

+ Riada looks very nice at first glance. - But it is not comfortable, the room is only 8m2 (there is no advertised 18m2). The ground floor is very humid and noisy (1m from the thin door is the dining room of all). The bed is very narrow 160cm max, sometimes the bed is even against the wall. Staff: +Brahim is positive and helpful, he will help and advise you. Another employee was sick, he even coughed on guests. - Riada is not accessible by car! No one outside knew where it was, we looked for it for a long time. - When we left in the morning, we only got dry bread for breakfast and nothing to drink, not even cheese or eggs! But they cooked dinner well at Riada. Riada charges a 10% worse exchange rate for all payments. Be careful!

The riad is clean and the staff is really very helpful. Special thanks to Brahim, he was really nice and helped with boarding passes! The breakfast is abundant, but mainly breads, I asked for eggs and they made eggs additionally for me, which I appreciated. Jacuzzi is small but warm. Since we were the only guests the first night, it was fine and relaxing. The hotel has a lovely terrace and some other areas for relaxing sitting, when I had to work, the staff suggested me a calm place where I could focus on work without disturbing other guests. A welcome mint tea was offered and additional information about the stay and tours was provided.
Cons: The room does not have outdoor windows, the windows from the bathroom and living room enter the jacuzzi and breakfast zone, and it does not feel enough intimate. I understand this is specifics of all riads which were built for families, not travellers. The taxi cannot bring you directly to the place, and in Apple maps the address is wrong, so be careful and check twice. It requires 2-3 minutes of walk in some kind of dirty and smelling streets because of fish markets there, so if you cannot stand the smell of fish, avoid this hotel or use mask.

The riad is beautiful, clean and comfortable. It's 15 min walk to Medina, located in less touristic and quite authentic quarter of Marrakesh. The riad has all neccesary facilities, services including restaurant, where you can have a nice dinner and relax in the indoor swimming pool after a long day. The staff was amazing and really welcoming. They did their best to make you feel comfortable and at home. Thank you Tarik and all others!
Cons: We had a room at the top which was the most intimate/private, just a little too dark. This a very minor thing/ suggestion that can be easily mitigated :)

Nice rooms, the pool is the perfect extra. But the best part of the Riad is the people that work there. The ladies from the kitchen that gave us breakfast every morning, the cleaning ladies that did a excellent job and the guys from ‘reception’.. they were all amazing. Special shout out to Brahim, thank you so much for welcome us and showing us the riad around, and thank you for being so nice to us. Absolutely, your attention exceeded our expectations! We loved everything about this property. A little hard to find at first, but you can call the property and they come and pick you up and bring you to the riad. EXCELLENT staff ! They will go far and beyond to accommodate any requests. We loved taking a nice break on the rooftop veranda. A special shout out to Mr Cofi, he was always covering the nights, and even though we would return to the property in very late hours, we were always greeted with a smile. But the whole staff is fantastic, without a doubt. The property has lots of charm, decor in traditional moroccan way which we loved. Breakfast was great, local food served, and if special request made, always was accommodated. The riad is very private, away from the busy and loud streets in the Medina.
Cons: Shower did not have the pressure we are used to but would not stir us away to stay again. This is a little personal preference: the mattress is harder than used to. Some may find this welcoming 😉

Our stay at the Riad was truly unforgettable. From the warm welcome with Moroccan tea and cookies to the daily conversations filled with insights and tips about Marrakesh, every moment was cherished. Special thanks to Ayub and Nadeem for taking such great care of us during our stay. I especially miss the delicious morning breakfasts and relaxing afternoon pool time. Thank you for being such amazing hosts; we hope to visit again someday.

It was our first riad experience and it didn’t disappoint. it took a few minutes to walk to the location from the nearby drop off point through narrow streets. The property was authentic and clean. Service was prompt and friendly. After looking for a hammam elsewhere, we decided to try it with our riad and it was just perfect. We went with the hammam and massage option. Finally they offered airport transfer.

The place was super super super clean, the staff was very patient and polite, always helpful and kind with us, ilham. abdo.ousmane .malik.iman.majda, they are amazing, and I loved the stay at Rodaina. Very close to the market, good food at the place and around, quite a gem, a special spot in beautiful Marrakech, I recommend it! 5 stars out of 5. Traditional, quiet, beautiful, couldn’t ask for better.

Stuff were super helpful and nice, they helped with everything we needed. Rooms were clean perfectly.
Cons: The swimming pool is super small and cannot be really used, unless you want to splash when other people are having a meal. Rooms are really small in size and if it's two of you sharing a room, you will find it really small. Breakfast were good, but apart or tea, coffee and juice it's really just 4 different types of bread.

It’s very close to the souks and restaurants Nora, kofi and Usman were a complete delight and were so so friendly kind and a joy to be around .
Cons: I had originally booked for 4 nights but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cut my trip short by a night and gave a weeks notice but the management declined to refund me for that extra night which made me feel a bit uncomfortable . This is due to the management nothing to do with the hospitality staff who were exceptional.

Nothing really...
Cons: The rooms were extremely small, pictures on Booking? it's cheating! No windows, No air. Were told we can drive to the door but not park there. Well, drive to the door was a total impossibility, another lie from the renter! Breakfast was our first in (2 weeks) with no fresh orange juice. Also had a strange looking millipede running along our walls...

The place was very nice and comfortable and breakfast every day was really good. But the hospitality of the people working there is the thing that made our stay so great! Ayoub was very kind and helpful, making sure to help all the guests. Ousmane and others as well, all the time very cheerful and smiling. The place is located in Kasbah, very close to Medina and also a nice place to see the daily life of locals in the neighborhood.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The roof top terrace was very pleasant during the morning and evening hours.
Cons: Marrakesch certainly provides better food alternatives for dinner (we had mixed experiences during our three dinners there). You might wanna go for the breakfest only version and choose the dinner in the city yourself. There is plenty of excellent food.

Beautiful riad in a great location near the Kasbah, a colourful market nearby and many good places to eat. It doesn't feel like a touristic part of the medina but it is very safe. The riad offers a cosy room, a very good breakfast which was different every day, a fantastic hot tub, a nice rooftop terrace, and the most lovely employees. Our room was on the ground floor near the hot tub and the breakfast tables but we didn't find it noisy. We slept well, the mattress is comfortable.
Cons: It's hard to think of something we disliked. It was unusual to have a curtain instead of a door for the bathroom but we adapted quickly. The shower drain was struggling a little bit but I think it's maybe a Marrakech issue and not this particular riad. Overall we loved it and wish we could have stayed longer.

The only good thing about this place are the employees, especially Saluan. She was responsible for me not wanting to leave there even though I was forced to pay.
Cons: When you book a room at this residence, they lead you to believe that your room has a bathtub. This is registered on booking.com, But it's a lie, you pay for the bathtub and it simply doesn't exist An employee said that only one of the rooms has a bathtub, but that it is usually occupied... they put me in a basement, full of humidity and without any ventilation, with the walls all peeling from humidity, rather than the photos showing renovated rooms . But it's not true. Asking them to cancel, they called the owner directly and he said it wasn't possible, that he already wanted to be charged anyway and he couldn't do anything if there was an error in the information. I said I was being a victim, he said there is no victim, these things happen. I asked if I would at least get a discount given the difference in the room I rented, he said it's not his problem. I was completely surprised, without understanding where people got those positive comments from such a humid, small, comfortless place with no real information. I'll send you photos to prove it. The neighborhood is a city center desert.

We stayed in Riad Rodaina for four nights. The Riad/hotel was spotless and the staff (especially Yousef and Usman) were very helpful and kind. We found it strange that there was no door between the bedroom and the bathroom (only a curtain) but adjusted. The bedroom was small. The breakfast was fine, with traditional food (pancakes and bread).
Cons: The bed was quite hard so maybe a mattress topper would help. Otherwise it was fine.

Riad Rodaina is a haven for those seeking an exquisite Moroccan experience. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of their hospitality enveloped us, making us feel like treasured guests. The culinary journey here is an absolute delight. Each meal, a masterpiece crafted with local flavors, was a true gastronomic adventure. The hammam and massage were a sanctuary within a sanctuary! The rejuvenating treatments and serene ambiance melted away our stresses, leaving us refreshed and renewed. The staff's attention to detail and genuine care made our stay truly exceptional. Riad Rodaina is not just a place to stay; it's an experience that lingers long after departure, beckoning you back for more.

I had a lovely stay in this beautiful Riad. It is tucked down a cul-de-sac and very quiet at night. It is about a 15 minute walk from the main square but plenty of places to eat nearby if feeling too lazy to walk down on an evening. The staff were excellent and incredibly helpful. I enjoyed the terrace for views of the city. Loved it.

Due to a delayed fly we arrived in the middle of the night. But it was no problem and we had a really warm and uncomplicated welcome. The riad is really cute with a lot of lovely details. Rooms are extremely clean. The riad is also small and calm. It even provides a small whirlpool. The staff is really nice and interested in helping you to enjoy your stay. And we really did! The place has a decent location, the staff is friendly, kind and helpful. There is a 24h service so you can always receive some help if needed. There is air conditioning so that can be appreciated when it’s hot. Wifi works well. Didn’t try the massages or hammam but the spaces look pretty and they must have good services to offer. The Jacuzzi was nice. The water is not too hot so it’s perfect to take a little swim (deep Jacuzzi)
Cons: Mainly my room, i was highly disappointed. I got a room downstairs that was plain, white and was not the room i booked. I think it’s a bit expensive for what i got and compared to the other amazing riads i stayed in. Also there was no sheet for the big puffy blanket… had to use it without anything on it (…….) the bed and pillows were comfortable though but the shower was a bit awful I must say.. the water stained and also you can’t open the water to let it heat up a bit and close the door, you basically have to be inside getting cold water while it warms up unless you are ready to spill water all over the place ! Maybe not all the rooms are the same, again I got a disappointing room that doesn’t match the main photos.

The staff were really helpful they had an amazing welcoming feeling from the moment I arrived. I would say all of them are as hard working as each other. I would like to personally thank Salwa and Ayoub for my time at the Riad. The location was perfect and the hospitality was spot on. I had the luxury of staying in too places I had a 2 bed room apartment in Gueliz and the Riad Rodaina in the Medina. I would pick the Riad over the apartment it’s just a better area to be located right in the centre. It’s the perfect tourist hot spot. Gueliz is a tourist trap, so opt for the area that you mostly likely spend your time around. My personal opinion is when I had the apartment I still spent most of my time in the Medina.
Cons: The food and drink prices. Needs to be changed on there menu. You can walk down the street to a local vendor have a few soft drinks and a meal for 40 dirhams I thought the drinks were slightly over priced and same with the food. That’s why I didn’t order any food or drinks there as every time I looked at the menu my wallet got smaller. Lol. And everything was in French please have a English menu printed would help or non French speakers

To start the staff Ayoub who was our 1st contact in the hotel made us feel comfortable in-spite of the natural disaster that just occurred. He reassured us of the hotels safety and gave us a personal tour of the hotel and neighborhood to calm us down. The ambiance of the hotel is very relaxing and give one the feeling of home. The entire staffs were exceptional, from helping us get sim and data for internet connection to aid moving around the city, to providing quality customer service and delicious meals. One of the highlights of our stay was the mini pool which was very relaxing. I will recommend this for anyone visiting Marrakech as it’s home away from home and will definitely be staying there on my next visit
Cons: Nothing. It was a lovely property

For us it was a really good location - fairly quiet/streets felt quite safe but walkable to all the sights in the old town. The pool was small but refreshing and perfect for when we got back from our days walking around, plus there are two outside terrace spaces which are really great for relaxing The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating - in particular Usman made sure we had a fab time!
Cons: The mattress was quite firm for our preferences and the shower pressure and drainage was a bit off - however these are very minor points and we completely recommend staying here

We've had a short but amazing stay at Riad Rodaina. Due to a delay of our flight we only arrived at 2am, the owner still welcomed us when we arrived by taxi, offered us tea, showed the hammam and explained us the city. The Riad is run by small team and very quickly you get to know them all. They are excellent, most helpful and would go that little extra way. Rooms are small as it is the case with many inner city riads but very well maintained and cleaned. You do have comfortable seating outside your room on each floor. Location is very convenient, only 5 min to the local square, with shops, restaurants and money exchange and taxis. Although the choice is limited the breakfast was very tasty and well presented.

Such an amazing experience at Riad Rodaina. We would like to highlight the incredible staff, specially Husseine, Abdel jalil, Ayoub and the girls; that were so helpful and made us feel at home. I could not have picked a better place in Marrakech! absolutely stunning, charming, and clean to perfection, but even more impressive is the incredibly warm, kind, and hospitable staff. I wished my stay had been longer because I felt like I was among dear friends with the beautiful souls at Riad Rodaina - Hussiene, Widad, Mouhamed, and others - they went above and beyond to ensure that I felt comfortable, safe, and welcome. I’m very well-traveled and I must say that I’ve never experienced such exceptional service, from the beginning over a beautiful tea to the bittersweet end of my stay. Staff amazing, starting from Nomad and all the rest kind people in the Riad. We really felt like at home, very safe and with help in every step. Hammam and massage is must to try and not once. New Year Dinner was like in the best of the best restaurants. I really don't know if we could ask for something more. Just fantastic.
Cons: Really nothing to add.

unbeatable for the price. situated in one of the most authentic parts of Marrakech. well located within the souks, and very clean. it’s small, and the staff is super sweet. they went to great lengths to make sure we were comfortable. our original accommodations cancelled and we found this location last minute. we were so grateful. recommending to everyone, it also has a hammam and massages if interested !!! amazing hidden gem.
Cons: nothing !!! amazing spot

We couldn't have a better experience, this was our first stay in Morocco and we chose the best spot. The hosts were very kind and helpful and provided top service, the Riad is cozy with a good location in a vibrant district but also located in a quiet street, and the breakfasts are diverse, every day there is something different with a warm element to it prepared by the chef, who also bakes really good cakes!

This stay was great value for money. We stayed during the low seasons and got a great free room upgrade. The location was also great, quiet but close to main walking/shopping street. The upstairs terrace and sitting rooms were a bonus with great views of the city.
Cons: All was great for us. The swimming pool is more decorative than to swim in.

Feels family owned. extremely friendly, warm jacuzzi in the foyer, cute quaint decor, amazing staff who are super friendly and go above and beyond to ensure you have a nice stay. They even safely stored our luggage for us for most of the day while we explored the city. They arranged private transfers to everyone we needed to go.
Cons: Nothing.

I felt myself at home. Comfortable bed, great service and hospitality. Wifi was excellent, it was a positive suprise. Location was good, 15 min walking distance from the main square. Without the guide of the owner I would have been lost a bit to find the place, but in Marrakesh it's okay to be lost a bit around the small alleys. The breakfast was a bit poor, but I didn't mind, that's why I mentioned over here, the positive side. The pool was fantastic, a bit cold, but great. It was a good decision to choose teh Riad, cannot compare with the typical hotels. I was happy my choice was Riad Rodaina. Thanks Nomad your hospitality and your kindness!

Nice and clean Riad with great atmosphere. The rooms have enough space, unfortunately for large people the beds are too small. The people are very friendly and helpful and they offer many additional services (e.g. diner, massage,…). Considering everything the riad is quite commercial, the offers are priced in Euro and the price level is high. For example we wanted to book a shuttle to the bus station, the fixed price was 15€. So we took the first taxi on our way and payed less than 5€.

Very much like staying in a private home. Staff hospitable and friendly and extremely helpful. Set in the market in a quiet area with kids playing all around. Spacious and unique.
Cons: The only negative was the shower handle in my dad's bathroom. It was broken and he had to hold the shower nozzle with one hand and scrub with the other. Told the staff twice to fix it but never did. Also, the wifi didn't extend to his room on the top floor, had to go to the seating area upstairs or downstairs in the reception/hall area. Since there was no tv in the room the wifi would have been helpful. But other than that it was great experience.

We stayed 2 nights and we found the Riad very comfortable, clean, beautiful and welcoming. The staff is really kind, the place is of a very good taste and the athmosphere is really pleasant. It is located in the Casbah, very near to get to the main places to see in the Medina by walking. I would recommend the stay.

Absolutely amaizing! We have no words to describe how amaizing this place (our room and whole property - Riad) and it's employees were! Staff (especially Zak but cannot exclude anyone) was so welcoming - prepared to do anything to please us at whatever hour (even to make whatever we want in the middle of the night when we just came to Riad after our plane landed so late). It was so clean, with that amaizing smell all over the Riad with amaizing spot on the rooftop to have a smoke or just enjoy the view of Marrakech from amaizing spot. All in all - wish we could stay more and we totally recommend it to everyone who likes to feel really special during the stay 'cause this guys and this place really did that to us in such a short time. Thank you! 😀
