Położenie idealne, cichutko i spokojnie a tylko parę minut piechotą do ruchliwych ulic Marakeszu. Menager Youssef przemiły, uczynny, dbających by pobyt przebiegl jak najlepiej. Pokoik malutki i czysty, łóżko bardzo wygodne. Śniadania typowo marokanskie - przepyszne. Zdecydowanie polecam.

Mic dejun foarte bun . Amplasare buna in centru . Curatenie exemplara .

Small and cozy Riad situated only a short walk from the city center. It is in a quieter neighbourhood, away from the bustling souks. There are only four rooms in the riad so it has a very nice and homely feel to it. Nouri, who was taking care of us, was exceptionally nice and always ready to answer any questions we had. He also prepared delicious breakfast for us every morning. There is also a nice rooftop terrace where we loved to spend a quiet evening. Our stay was very pleasant and we would certainly recommend it to any travelers going to Marrakech. Bonus points: The house cat and her two kittens are very friendly and fun to look at, when they play and run around the riad.

Cons: The only downside of this Riad is that due to it's size, you can hear basically everything that happens in the rooms or in the courtyard. Also the day of our check out, we had to leave for the airport at 5pm and hoped to wait in the lobby between 3pm and 5pm, but the manager has told us it was not possible because no staff were around at the time and he told us to leave the riad. This didn't seem to be a problem all the days before, when we would sometimes come to the riad to hide away from the scorching sun and were there alone.

L'esmorzar era força bo i complet.

We had a lovely time in the Riad with very welcoming hosts (cat and litter of kittens included) and a very clean and beautiful room. We felt taken care of at every point and the riad was the perfect homebase for exploring the medina. We walked everywhere and never had to walk for more than a half hour to visit what we wanted to see or find a good place to eat. All in all we had a wonderfull stay and felt welcome and taken care of in every way

The Host Youssef (we spell it as Yousaf) is so friendly and helping. He made our stay best in every possible way. Breakfast was amazing, His guidance about Marrakesh was great. He also showed us nearby store, took us to main road! Indicated signs to follow for reaching property. The property is in the street, You have to find your way! No so difficult though. AC works, washroom was fine.

Cons: Ventilation of the building can be slightly improved! Although not a big issue

The food was great, and so was the service. The man in charge was incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a great stay and appreciated his generosity. Because there are only a couple of rooms for guests, the place is small, nice and quiet and not overwhelmed by too many tourists and people. I liked the coziness of the place and how it felt remote from the hustle and bustle of the loud and overwhelming streets in the city center of Marrakesh. But this place was hidden from the chaos and felt more peaceful and quiet. Also his little grey cat is the cutest and most gentle little cat.

The property is well located and has a traditional riad feel to it. The riad cat is also very friendly and Youseff was very welcoming. All staff were helpful and answered any questions we had. Overall the property is very good value for money and we had a very pleasant stay. Miu the cat has also recently had baby kittens and so hopefully if you are visiting over the next few weeks you will be able to meet them.

Cons: Nothing. Only thing which could possibly be improved is a sign on the front door stating the name of the Riad- although it is easy enough to find with the door number.

We stayed at Riad Ahlsouss for 7 nights. This is a lovely little riad in a great location. The manager, Youseff, arranged a taxi for us from the airport and then met us at the road to show us the way through the medina. At first the route seemed complicated but Youseff made it really simple and we never got lost once during our stay. There are only 3 guest rooms at the riad. It is a real oasis of calm in the madness of Marrakech. In the morning we were awoken by the sound of birdsong - very idyllic. Our room was quite small but very quirky and traditional. It was also very clean. We had a lovely breakfast every morning, freshly prepared, a great start to the day. There is a great space on the roof terrace to sit and chill out. The lady who takes care of the housekeeping does an amazing job and kept our room spotless and well serviced. She also did some laundry for us - an absolute star. We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Ahlsouss. Youseff was a first class host. We were definitely well looked after. The cat, Neo, also added to the overall experience - very entertaining 😀. Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommended.

Cons: The room was on the small side so it made it a bit difficult for two older, more rounded people, to get in and out of bed 😀. The stairs up to the room may prove challenging for anyone with mobility issues. There is only a curtain separating the bathroom from the main room so if you are not on intimate terms with your travel partner that could be an issue! These things did not really bother us too much but might be a problem for some travellers so worth noting.

Amazing riad. Great traditional rooms, everything was clean. The assistant-host Miu made sure to check on us if we were enjoying our stay. And Youssef is an amazing host, gave us a lot of informations and tips. We really enjoyed the traditional breakfast. Definitely recommend. As a tip for everyone who will stay in the future: Google maps will not help you very much, so just follow the signs for “Riad des etoiles” until you reach the tree black plant pots on the left, then turn right and walk in the “maze” until you will see a door with 95 written on it.

Highly recommended.

Very friendly host and the resident cat (or, I guess, host cat and her resident human). Comfortable room, served a very nice Moroccan breakfast. The interior is beautiful. Close to cafes, shops and museums of the medina.

Cons: Was little hard to find - Google Maps led me to the wrong side street, and could only get to the location after a local boy led me there (of course, not for free). Also, at the time I arrived there was no one at the place - apparently, you need to let them know exact time of an arrival - so both me and said boy were knocking on the door for about 10 minutes before someone arrived and let me in. Not a big issue in retrospect, just wish I knew what's happening as that was a bit worrying first experience in a new country when I thought I might have to search for a new place in late evening.

Quiet area 10 mins walk from the main touristy spots, rooms are simple but have character. The property manager Youssef is super helpful and friendly. The hotel cat Mio is very approachable too, we spent many hours together.

Cons: Wifi was a bit unstable. Also, Google maps gets the paths in that area slightly wrong. Not the hotel's fault and I figured it out easily enough.

Couldn't fault a single thing, I arranged transport with the riad directly incase I couldn't find it, but Google maps had it no problem (was cheaper return than booking elsewhere, I checked!). Couldn't have agreed for a better person in charge than Youssef, so kind and nothing was too big a problem. It was a fairly easy 20 minutes walk to the main square,, more than handy to anything you'll need during your stay. Breakfast was a nice start to the day with pastries, bread and coffee, room was very comfortable and clean, nice shower too.... I'll not be looking anywhere else to stay on my next visit to Marrakech, fantastic value for money!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at the riad. The riad is small and quiet, the room is very cozy and the breakfast was delicious. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and helped us a lot on the day we left, as we had to leave early and they were waiting for us with breakfast and helped us order a taxi to the airport. The riad is in the medina, close to several attractions, great location. Thank you for our incredible stay!

Cons: It is a bit confusing to find the riad for tourists like us who are not familiar with the area. Following the location using only the map on your phone is difficult because sometimes the signal is not very good and the map gets lost. There is no sign identifying the riad in front of it, look for the door number and follow the signs of the other riads nearby to find it! The only thing that could improve our experience would be to put up signs indicating the way. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!

I booked this Riad because it was my first time traveling (and I traveled alone) - the reviews were so positive. Youssef and the whole team were absolutely lovely. I felt safe the whole time and they made sure that I didn’t get lost. They made me feel home, and I love that it is located in a quiet area, not far to the big square. I did a lot of tours in my week in Marrakesh (also 3 day tour to Merzouga where I left my stuff in the Riad), and I was so happy to come “home” to the Riad again. I want to say THANK YOU to Youssef and Mohammed, who really took care of me, were incredibly helpful and made me feel safe and calm. I’ll definitely come back, because there are still so many places to explore, and of course I’ll book a room in this lovely and very special Riad again. My travel wouldn’t have been the same without this Riad and the people there. Thank you so much for everything - I’ll see you again next year ❤️

Cons: I knew that the wifi might be a bit unstable, but I didn’t have issues with that, it went fine. I got much more than I expected, so I have definitely nothing to complain about at all but just love for this place🙏❤️

Such a great guy, he was so kind and helpful. Plus this is the best deal in Marrakech in my opinion. The room was so nice & cozy. My only regret is that I didn’t have breakfast, we had to catch a train at 7 am. Will be back for the breakfast at some point hopefully! Thanks Yousef!! 🙏

Cons: I loved everything

Riad Ahlsouss and Yousef provided a wonderful base for exploring Marrakech. Yousef was always welcoming and happy to help in so many ways including coming out to find me when I couldn't find the riad. I had a most comfortable room, the place was beautifully presented and with only 4 rooms it was a lovely calm space, a perfect contrast to the mayhem of the souks. The breakfast was lovely and traditional and I had a really relaxed stay there - thank you!

Cons: I did like this, but some will find it a wee bit distant from the centre. However I liked the short walk, experiencing more of everyday Marrakech and I enjoyed the quiet surroundings compared to the centre, so give it a try!

The host was really friendly and we managed to communicate despite our very limited French. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we felt very peaceful there. We had one of our best nights sleeps here and wished we could change our booking at another more expensive hotel which had a much lower standard. We were not hassled to buy other trips. This was an absolute treat, the room was beautifully furnished with amazing colours and it felt so clean. We were really grateful to have found this place and we would highly recommend.

Ismail was the sweetest and gentlest of hosts who could not do enough for me no matter what it was— procuring a needle and thread for me when a button popped off my pants, to serving me breakfast at noon when I wasn't feeling well and slept in, to escorting me to the main road to get a cab when I left. The riad is very simple, but neat, tasteful, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Rooms are a little small, but that is to be expected in Marrakech. The location is very safe— no one on the street in the neighborhood even glanced my way. It's in the southern part of the medina, so if you want to explore the north side, you have about a 45 min walk. But watch out for a little girl who lives in the neighborhood— she pretends to be hungry and homeless and attached herself to my elbow begging for money. But I passed her constantly in the neighborhood riding a bicycle, playing, and sporting a Disney track suit. She's no threat though, just a little mischievious.

Cons: nothing! everything was wonderful.

Lovely riad in a residential area so it’s super quiet. It’s not too far from the Badi palace so outside of the walled part of medina but it’s not far to walk into town (10-15min). Staffs are incredibly helpful too. It was cheaper to order taxi through them than via booking.com when going to the airport. The riad is for close couples as it is semi open designs. You can’t see the toilet from the bed as it’s hidden away but you could hear everything. For me even in normal hotels are the same thing but some may be more self conscious. For the price you pay this riad is so worth it especially when having good sleep is important for us. The bed is a bit hard for side sleepers but perfect for me as a back sleeper. If you have mobility issues than riads may not be the best for you as there are many stairs to walk. The sound insulation within the riad like most isn’t the best but we could only hear if someone comes in from the downstairs front door or if our neighbour underneath turned on the extractor fan. Seem to be a common issue for all riads so we weren’t bothered by it. Just know that if you want to top up your orange sim for data, you can’t just top up using the way of the voucher, you need to add *3 if you just want internet because you’ll be topping up for minutes to call and text and only 100mb per 10dr.

Cons: Wi-Fi isn’t the best and the location is hard to find at first. We find the location on maps.me took us to another riad and on google it was a bit confusing as it doesn’t show all the paths. We found the riad by following signs to other riad then kept going forward with the turns and focused on finding the number 95 above the doors and found an unassuming door for the riad

Both off them were very happy to help, very nice and easygoing, and provided any information or anything that we needed, good house with everything we need, they let us very comfortable during the stay, overall everything was perfect. Surely we will come back. Location is great, a small walk to everywhere.

Cons: Google maps doesnt show the exact location off the door, can be difficult to find at first.

The manager, Youssef, was really polite. The room was good for its price. The bed was comfortable. The riad was so quiet. The breakfast was big.

Cons: The room had so many cracks on the walls and the floor (probably from the recent earthquake). The room was generally clean, but the bedsheets and the pillowcases had some weird markings. The toiletries were scarce. It is really hard to find the riad.

Youssef the manager was friendly, thoughtful, polite and always available to help with anything I needed, from arranging taxis to advice on places to visit and moroccan culture and language, he even taught me how to make atay! The property is a close walk to many of the main sites in Marrakech. The rooms are very nice and clean. Youssef makes a brilliant breakfast in the morning and is so generous in his tips for what to do around Marrakech and is always on call if you need any assistance. On the last night of our stay, there was the devastating earthquake and Youssef was so kind treating my partner and I like family, ensuring we were safe and comfortable. He also arranged a taxi for us at 4am that morning so we could get to the airport safely. I could not recommend this property high enough.

We loved the peace and tranquility, even though in the hectic of the city. Our host, Youssef, did go above and beyond to give us a pleasant stay. Always there when we get back, making us feel at home. Nothing is too much for him. We wanted to drink tea when we came back at 1 o' clock in the morning, and it was no problem at all. He brought it all the way up for us to drink on the rooftop. Clean rooms and very clean kitchen and main areas. Good breakfast, too. Make sure you book a lunch or dinner at the riad cause that was the best couscous we ate in Marrakesh, for real!!! Will be back for sure.

Cons: Nothing. The only point of attention is that if your mobility is not good, you should not stay here. All rooms are up, and stairs are quite steep.

Nice and cosy riad with only a few guest rooms. The place is situated in a quite calm part of the city but easily walking distance for the typical touristic areas. Very friendly and welcoming host who also made very sure to be clear with the directions for the riad as it is down some small roads that are not necessarily navigatable on google maps. Big plus for the dinners and cooking we did together with the host :)

Cons: The room had at times a bit of a humid smell, but keeping the window open made it go away so it wasn't a big deal at all.

The manager Youssef is a really great guy. He helped us a lot with tips on here to visit and buy things. He also helped us with carrying the luggage, finding a transfer to train station and picking up us at the main avenue when we arrived, because the way to the riad is really hard to find, the streets are really small in the Medina. Also Youssef prepared a really good breakfast for us.

Great little riad for exploring Marrakech, though over a 10 minute brisk walk to the medina and souks. Excellent value for money and the host was friendly and always on-hand if required. The breakfast was lovely (far too much for one person I'd add) and all freshly prepared each morning. The room was adequate for a single person or (close) couple, with the shower and toilet being almost open-plan to the studio room. Shower was great and lovely hot water all day/night. The location is a little off the main road down a few little side streets, but I wasn't worried at all and it didn't feel unsafe, apart from the scooter and mopeds whizzing up and down intermittently. It was very quiet at night inside, but the streets were bustling most of the time. Would recommend to like-minded travellers, though perhaps less so for a romantic break or holiday with children.

Cons: I don't have anything negative to say about my stay here, I got exactly what I paid for and expected, with the bonus of a really great host thrown in!

This Riad was just what we were looking for. Yousef was helpful and courteous. Google maps got us almost to the correct location but Yousef will contact you and meet you to show you the way (we missed this because we had mobile data turned off). Otherwise, local people will help (but will want some money). The Riad is close to all the things we wanted to see (about 10min from the Medina) but as soon as you leave the main street, all the noise and hustle and bustle fades away. We went on two trips during our stay and were picked up from the nearest main street next to the Berrima mosque. The Riad itself was traditional and comfortable with a TV room, inner courtyard and small rooftop terrace. Thank you to Yousef for being such a nice host.

Cons: Everything was good, but a name plate next to the front door and at the end of the alleyway would help.

Excellent location in the medina (old town), very nice owner who was supportive with every single question I had, picking me up when google maps directed me to a dead end street near by (and brought me back to the main street the next time I left, showing me all the hints how to find the place easier). Great breakfast, well equipped and clean rooms.

Cons: Google maps sends you to the wrong street, as the adress is not displayed well. Normal for Medinas in Morocco, but the host takes care if you contact him!

Great value for money. Youssef was extremely nice, and he came to pick us up at the beginning of the street both during the day and the night. The room was spacious and clean.

Cons: In the street to arrive at the Riad is busy with local people who are trying to take money just to help you finding the Riads. Youssef had to always come out to pick me up. Youssef was amazing and super kind, but not the best to have to keep him awake at night to get back to the Riad.

He made me feel right at home from the moment of getting there, and even checked if I made my travel home ok - as I was travelling alone - and helped me arrange airport transfer. The room was beautiful, clean and calm, good wifi, aircon and lovely scented soap and shampoo. I slept amazing. The breakfast was delicious. The riad was cute and stylish. And in walking distance of shopping and sights. Highly recommend it, and will book again for returning travels<3 Grateful for the hospitality of the manager.

Quite simply, this is a home away from home. A cute, cosy Riad in a quiet area of Marrakech with modern amenities to feel comfortable during your stay. What makes this place extra special is the service provided by the host, Youssef. He is very kind, accommodating, doing whatever he can to make your stay enjoyable. For this reason, I highly recommend staying at this Riad and will certainly be returning. The property is a bit tricky to find, however the hosts are available by phone and they will help you if you get lost. Nearby, there are a number of historical sites to visit and shops to buy souvenirs from.
