Great location, nice and warm staff very good value. Probably best to visit in Spring. This is not a 5 stars hotel, it is a traditional Riad, with no modern touch. It offers a great experience if you do not expect the 5 stars hotel. If we go back to Marrakech we will go in the same place if possible. But again there are many other options, more posh if you want. We do recommend this one. Thanks Abdou for your support and kindness

The riad is located just a few steps from the beautiful souks and the Jemaa El-Fna square, which makes it very easy for everyone to enjoy Marrakech by walking. There are gorgeous rooftop terraces where you could enjoy your mint tea, coffee or breakfast and listen to the call for prayer or the birds singing. The staff is exceeding all expectations of hospitality, meeting all your needs before you even realised you have them. The team's warm welcome, Ouhammou and Abdoul, and everyone else catering to us in every way possible, was a highlight in our stay. They were always available for all of our questions, we had our own keys to enter and exit the riad and we felt very welcome. We would be very happy to go back during our next stay in Marrakech.
Cons: There's nothing that could be listed as a dislike. This riad is an absolute gem in the sea of options in Marrakech.

Location of this riad is excellent in the medina, off a small alley, just a few minutes walk from the Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Bedrooms were nicely decorated, clean, and a very comfortable bed (for us!). Breakfast was excellent, in the roof terrace. No complaints at all, and the staff are very welcoming and do their best to accommodate your needs. Would repeat ourselves, and recommend to anyone asking.

Abbiamo organizzato il nostro viaggio in Marocco con varie tappe. Siamo partiti da Marrakesh soggiornando in questo Riad carinissimo e pulitissimo, abbiamo fatto una notte nel deserto ed abbiamo deciso di soggiornare altri due giorni in piĂč in questo Riad perchĂ© ci siamo trovati benissimo. Sopratutto per lo staff disponibile a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Inoltre essendo partiti la vigilia di Capodanno prima della partenza ci hanno dato un regalo ricco di cose tipiche marocchine, molto apprezzato. Torneremo sicuramente.

Il Riad eâ molto carino e super pulito. La posizione eâ ottima, si raggiungono le principali attrazioni a piedi in pochi minuti. Lo staff eâ stato gentilissimo ed ha soddisfatto ogni nostra richiesta. Abbiamo fatto un tour nel deserto ed il Riad ha pensato ad ogni cosa. Per quanto riguarda la cucina, lo chef eâ bravissimo, le colazioni sono ottime e varie e la cena eâ stata squisita anche con nostre richieste di fuori menĂč.

Abdou was an amazing accommodating, kind and generous host. The riad is lovely, clean, and well-maintained. The hand-painted doors, walls and shutters are absolutely lovely. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh baked goods, eggs, coffe, juice, olives and condiments. We also had dinner there one night and it was also very good. The bed was comfortable and the linens fresh. We each tried the on-site hammam and massage - a wonderful and relaxing experience. The location is nice - in the medina, but entrance is off of a side-alley, so it's quiet - a nice oasis amid the bustle. We would definitely stay again.
Cons: It was chilly in the mornings, and there is only outdoor seating for meals, so even in the sun, it was a little cold having breakfast, even in the sun. It would be nice to have some hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels and clothes. Be aware that taxis cannot drive in the Medina, so it's about a 10-minute walk from where a taxi can crop you off or pick you up.

AdemĂĄs de la falta de privacidad, se oĂa todo el ruido, que fue mucho la primera noche, porque unos huĂ©spedes estuvieron fuera hablando alto hasta altas horas de la madrugada. La habitaciĂłn era larga y estrecha: aunque cabĂa una tercera cama (que no necesitamos ni habĂamos pedido), era algo incĂłmodo acceder a la cama grande, y no cabĂan mesillas donde posar cosas. Por Ășltimo, aunque la ubicaciĂłn es cĂ©ntrica, estĂĄ en una calleja estrecha, oscura y que puede tener basura por las noches.

Had an absolutely amazing stay at this riad with my partner. Great location right in the mĂ©dina. Clean, beautiful and quiet riad. The staff were super friendly and service was top notch. When messaging them on WhatsApp we always got quick responses (very efficient way to communicate with the staff than needing to find them in the property and wait around). We ordered the riad taxi service to and from the airport and definitely worth the money as think we would have struggled to find the riad otherwise. They waited for you at the airport with a sign and more comfortable than needing to find a taxi also as we made the payment to the riad thus not needing to withdraw cash at the airport which would have been costly. Breakfast also amazing and filled us up well for all of the excursions. We had hammam and massage at the riad and the ladies doing it were great. Also used the laundry service which was good and worth the money (âŹ5 for a big load including ironing). No fridge in the rooms (which I think is quite standard at a riad as itâs a bit minimalistic) but we could put stuff in the kitchen fridge such as drinks, alcohol etc. Had an amazing stay at Lalla Aicha and highly recommend!
Cons: The lighting in the rooms is a bit dim but no biggie. As we stayed for a week it would have been nice with some sun loungers if you want a chill day by the pool with a bit of sun but there are other riads in the area with pool on the rooftops where you can pay a fee as an external guest.

We booked two rooms as a group of friends. The first one was great, and although we had some minor issues with the other, the staff solved them quickly. The best thing about this Riad is the amazing staff, who truly provide a warm and welcoming feeling through their excellent service. The location of the Riad is also perfect for exploring the Medina.
Cons: The pool is rather small, there is no refrigerator in the rooms, and staying in a traditional Riad does come with some minor disadvantages. Still, overall it was a very good and very price-worthy experience thanks to the wonderful staff and atmosphere.

Cons: Description of what is available in each room is incorrect. It describes what is available if you rent the whole hotel. Personnel were generally responsive and well intentioned. However, they assigned us a smaller room than described in the document and mistook our taxi request for 7:00 oâclock for one at 19:00 hrs. Check out is 15:00 hrs, so wonder why they expected us to linger all that time.

Cons: Booked a 3-day trip through the hotel that could have been a much better experience. In future, I would book through TriAdvisor (my usual way) as the company they used provided poor accommodation & no receipt through the hotel so we found it difficult to complain in situ as we couldn't even prove what we had paid. Lesson learned!

The friendliness of the staff and their efforts to help me whenever I needed their assistance. I booked a driver online who spoke little English and wanted to pick me up at a different pick up point, so the staff spoke with him on my phone and secured my original pick up point. I felt safe in this location and it was conveniently located to area attractions and meet up point with tours at Cafe France. When I wanted to just relax in my room and not venture out, I appreciated the Riad's amenities: a quiet location, beautiful and peaceful atmosphere, rooftop restaurant, access to a glass of wine; ease of booking the Riad's hamman or getting a massage at the Riad.

The location was perfect in the heart of the Medina but in a quiet lane way off the main square. Google maps will get you to the laneway and you can see the sign for the accommodation, turn right at the sign for door number 4. The accommodation overall was good, breakfast and the staff were great. We had an enjoyable stay here.
Cons: The listed ammenities are not in the room but available in the property. We booked a deluxe room but only were given a standard. The only things in the room are furniture and air conditioner. Once we accepted this is what it is, the stay was comfortable.

Having to walk from the square to the property through alleyways having to carry luggage to get to the riad is not the most convenient as I discovered upon arrival. But location-wise itâs right smack in the center of everything in the medina. Most attractions are within walking distance.

The property is relatively ok, although it is located in a dark lane and requires further investment to fix it and make it comfortable. It's generally safe, even though it does not look so. The staff is quite fine; I wouldn't blame them for anything.
Cons: In general, I understood that riad accommodation is surely not for me. I felt very much exposed and uncomfortable. The property needs fixing and renovation: lacking a safe and hangers, having a stinky wardrobe, questionably ancient towels, etc. - all this made it hard to enjoy and relax. Yet, most importantly, the hoax services made the experience very negative. The property is advertised as "SPA", but there's not much SPA there: the swimming pool wouldn't be usable, and the hammam (which we ordered in advance) was an act of torture. The hammam is a small space squizzed to where it should not be. It functions only if you ask to prepare and arrange it for a separate payment. Moreover, when we asked for it, the girl (sic!) who was supposed to do the washing arrived an hour late. By the end of that hour, the hammam benches were so hot that it was literally impossible to even touch them; yet, we had to sit and lay on them and enjoy... It was absolute torture that we just wanted to end as soon as possible. Not healthy! Other pre-arranged services are too expensive and not worth it, either. Another example is the "transfer" (also coming late), costing EUR 25 or EUR 15 more than a regular taxi that you can take without hassle any time at the airport. Overall, it is a decaying property, not worth the price and trying to trick you into buying overpriced things you do not want to buy.

We treated ourselves to a night in this beautiful riad, with dinner and breakfast included. The beef tagine is the best tagine we had in our whole trip. Also the chicken pastilla was incredible. The staff we all very kind and friendly, and helped me with anything I needed. They did takeaway breakfast for my friend who left early and they let me stay relaxing on the terrace for hours and hours as I had an evening flight. Breakfast was incredible too, very generous. The room was beautiful, very clean, bathroom was stunning. Hot water, great shower pressure and lovely towels. Perfect location too right in the middle of the souks but very quiet considering!! Highly recommended. Thank you so much to all the staff.

This is a lovely Riad in a quiet cul-de-sac a couple of minutes from the central carpet market (Nomad and Cafe Des Epices) and 6 minutes from el-Fnaa square. It's location is superb; very quiet at night. Breakfast is good and plentiful and the rooms are adequate - a little tight, but not a problem. The staff, as everyone says, are delightful and helpful.
Cons: The pool is more like a big plunge pool rather than a swimming pool and very refreshing after a day's walking in the Medina!

We had a fabulous family get-together at Lalla Aicha. The place is colourful and charming with a fantastic rooftop. Ayoub and the rest of the team were incredible - helpful, friendly and professional. Thank you Ayoub + team so much for making our stay extra special and for helping us organise a memorable family event with live music, treating it as if it were their own. The excursions and recommendations were superb. We also enjoyed the great massages and hammam experience. The breakfasts and dinners were lovely. Very well located and easy to access. We highly recommend it!

I arrived in Marrakesh after staying 5 days in Imlil in the Atlas mountains. Had a wonderful time at the Heritage Lalla Aicha hotel. I did the hammam and massage package deal which provided much needed relaxation after several days of hiking. Loved the food in the restaurant as well, and was fortunate with a sunny breakfast on the rooftop. I recommend the assortment of briouates and the bastilla. The hotel is very central in the very old parts of town - this means a 10min walk from the nearest drop off point. Staff will make sure your luggage is transported to the hotel. The walk itself is lovely and takes you over the square and through the souk (bazaar).

Cons: First, it was difficult to find the place as the address is wrong on booking.com. I had to call the phone to find it. Then knock on a door for a while for someone to open the door. The door is not marked as Rias, just a sign on the corner. The staff is almost never at the reception, I wanted to book SPA treatment, but it was literally impossible. The receptionist didn't even explain where and when the breakfast of wifi, nothing just gave the key and offered tea, which I refused since I had to pickup up my luggage from storage. The first room was stinking of sewage (no elbow under sink and it has nothing to do with rain as they claimed as it didn't rain for weeks) and heating didn't work, so I had a terrible night of sleep waking up at 6am cold and smelling like sleeping in a sewage. After complaining in the morning (as no one at reception) they offered another room, which was clearly inferior quality, but at least no foul smell. The new room had half sockets falling off and half not working properly, waiting for an accident to happen (especially if you're traveling with children). The bathroom doesn't even have soap for hands nor a bathrobe as advertised. From all lists of what advertised they just had a pool, towels, shampoo and hair conditioner with a hair dryer. Nothing else is there as advertised, no fridge l, no iron - nothing. After I wrote a complaint on booking system, they texted me at 10pm on WhatsApp, offering again to change the room. Since I was tired and in bed already I refused to move my luggage one more time (c'mon to a third room in 24 hours!). Also I was offered a beer, like it would fix all the problems. Also the new room had poor curtains and couldn't block the light from the inner yard and the bed was not double, but two single beds together a wornout mattress with a dip in the middle. I had terrible back pain after sleeping on it. So the second night was also a terrible sleep, but at least I had heating.

This Riad may be a little more expensive than others, but it is totally worth it. Location is exceptional: in the middle of Medina and within just 3 minutes walk to the big central square. It is also clean (they cleaned and made the room every day), completely decorated and it has a conveniently shadowed roof terrace that we enjoyed over breakfast and dinner every single day. Upon reservation they serve rich, fresh prepared and more than abundant moroccan dishes, which we also enjoyed every evening and absolutely recommend. Last but not least (I should have written this first), they have a superb staff that made the difference and our stay absolutely unique. Completely trustworthy, keen and helpful, they work hard to make your stay just extraordinary. Specially the berber Ayoub guided us paciently through the city's habits and practices, and he also helped us avoiding complex situations. He helped us organize our visits and tours, and we even asked him to select the menues that would be prepared for us (excellent choices all of them!). I don't know how he achieved it, but we felt as if we had a personal local close friend guiding us.

My stay was seamless as the management, especially Mr Abdul, was very accommodating and attentive. He treated me and my friends like family and we felt very safe. The Riad was very clean, decorative, authentic and the breakfast was delicious! I especially enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop and my visit to the hammam. The location was perfect as it was right in the middle of all the shops but off the main street so was very quiet and accessible. Overall, a very pleasant and stress- free stay and I will be returning!

The hospitality was great and the location was perfect. If you asked for something that was missing, it was arranged for. The breakfast was good. The reception and terrace are beautifully decorated.
Cons: The property is old and needs refurbishing - the tap in the bathroom kept coming off and we had to manage somehow. The room is extremely small and there is a window but it opens to the reception so has to be kept closed at all times so there is no ventilation. It may have been fine for a short stay but we were there for 5 nights and we didn't think we got the entire value for the money paid.

Cosy and welcoming and perfecly set in the middle of the Medina, 5 minutes walk from the main square and close to all the places to visit. Abdou and Jamal were the top of this Riad and of our trip. They couldn't do enough for us and nothing was ever a problem for them. We never felt so welcome in a hotel. Their complimentary mint tea with marocchin biscuits was such a nice welcoming touch. Cosy, clean and warm, in this riad they made our short break very special. Breakfast was perfect and served on a beautiful relaxing terrace partially overbooking the Atlas mountains. Jamal is a wonderful cook. The tajine he cooked for us was the best food we had in town. If we ever go back to Marrakech, we would definitely go there again

The staff was helpful and seemed nice. Location in in the centre of Medina, which can be an advantage or disadvantage. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, fairly clean (only one cockroach found ;)). WiFi was decent but not good enough to work.
Cons: It was a bit annoying that I always had to look for someone from staff, call them and wait - no one is ever present at the reception. There were construction works taking place on the roof and there was no protection - sparks from welding were falling on the patio, some passed just in front of my face. I also didnât enjoy the breakfast- there were literally no vegetables.

When we arrived they had already prepared a little table on the terrace with rose petals scattered on where we were given mint tea before being shown to our room. They kindly upgraded us to a suite which had a lovely living room and was on the second floor overlooking the courtyard. Breakfast was amazing, we got it whenever we wanted on the terrace in the sunshine. Chada was great and helped us find a hammam, a shop to print our boarding passes, and cooked us an amazing lunch. Would 100% stay again!

The staff were all amazing. We were greeted and didnât need to do the normal check-in process, just walked straight in and were given mint tea on the terrace straightaway. Abdul told us that this place was our home and it really did feel that way. The room was cosy with a huge, comfortable bed and a window looking into the courtyard. Breakfast was served whenever we wanted, on the terrace and it was so delicious! Abdul also organised a car rental for us less than 12hrs after we asked which was great.
Cons: The address is actually 4 Derb Toubib (not 3) and it is down a small alley. There is also no sign showing that it is a hotel. Not an issue but good to know if youâre getting confused on the way there! Initially, we also didnât have a key for the main door meaning we had to knock to be let in but they let us borrow one of their keys so again, not an issue. I feel like if there was anything wrong you could tell them and theyâd sort it instantly.

The hotel truly exceeded our expectations, the stay was perfect in every way. From the amazing friendliness of the staff, to the beautifully, individually prepared breakfast in the morning, the wonderful roof terrace, and the superb location. The hotel is tucked away in a dead-end alleyway in the middle of the old town. Once inside though it is an oasis of piece and quiet, especially on the roof terrace, which is quite superb. While there are surely more expensive and luxurious riads in Marrakesch, there are surely none more friendly, more laid back, more 'Marrakech'. A perfect location for anyone wishing to experience the laid back and welcoming soul of this city.

I loved walking in to a haven of quiet in the middle of the MĂ©dina. Also how beautiful the Riad is - my doors were exquisite. I think one of the things I enjoyed most though was going to the roof terrasse to just hang out. It isnât 100% finished yet but I just loved it! The staff were also lovely! Nourddine was the perfect mix of friendly and caring without being intrusive . The younger guy (I kept hearing his name as Roger but I imagine it canât be) was sweet and helpful. They made me a fantastic dinner one night and always tried to accommodate everyoneâs wishes/needs, including me leaving at 7 one day so getting up to make me breakfast early. Really kind.
Cons: The only issue I had really was when a group of guests came back late and decided to talk loudly as if they were the only people there. You can hear everything in your room. It didnât stop me sleeping but I put my headphones on. Wasnât an issue the second night

NOURDDINE the host of the Riad was such a caring and friendly person. I felt like home right from day one. From all my incountable places I visied so far Heritage Lalla Aicha was beyond expecations. Naima, the cook and caretaker of the Riad was like a mother to me. NAIMA also made me the best Couscous homemade with the best ingredients and lots of love I haven eaten so far. Highly recomnended.
