The Riad is great and located near most of the places we need to visit in Marrakech. I had to book last minute and i am glad the owner helped with everything from moving the luggage to assuring we have a great stay. The breakfast is rich and of a great quality. Thank you much for the help and kindness the stay was quite comfortable and enjoyable. I hope we can visit again

Ottima posizione, in 30 secondi si é in piazza. Staff eccellente, stanze pulite e ottima colazione.

Freundliches, stets hilfsbereites Personal.

The Riad is well located, just off one of the main alleyways and very close to the main square. The staff were very friendly particularly Wahid. The breakfast was typical of all Riad's but worked well for us.
Cons: Our original room was very small and basic, particularly the bathroom. We were offered a move to a bigger room after the first night which was better for us. You eat your breakfast on the roof area. My wife found this a little cold in the mornings.

L’esmorzar complert i bo!

Walid and Hassan welcomed me and took great care of me. I was only here one night but I wish I could’ve spent my whole stay here. Steps from all the action of the Medina and the square. Gorgeous decor
Cons: This didn’t bother me, but you are close enough to the square that you can hear the drums at night. So if you go to bed before midnight, you might need some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Riad El Habib with my friend. From the moment we arrived, Walid and Hassan went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The level of care and attention we received made us feel like we were the only guests in the entire riad. The location is perfect.. just a few steps away from Jamaa El-Fnaa, which made it so easy to explore the heart of Marrakech. The riad itself is very clean and well-maintained. A cleaning lady was there almost everywhere I went, making sure everything stayed spotless at all times. I would have loved to enjoy their beautiful terrace and soak up the sun, but unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time during our stay. That said, this riad has definitely become my go-to place whenever I visit Marrakech again. Thank you for the exceptional hospitality — see you next time!

We loved our stay at Riad El Habib and would definitely recommend it, and we will definitely return. It was excellent value for money, great location, quiet, safe, and comfortable. Highly recommend.
Cons: It is not vehicle accessible, however it is easy to get a man with a baggage trolley who can escort you a short walk from where the taxis drop off. And upon departing, early in the morning, the vehicles/taxis could get very close to the front door (into the main square, which is only a 30-second walk away).

Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, and the WiFi worked perfectly throughout my stay. A hidden gem!

What a perfect place to stay! As a first time solo traveller, I couldn’t have been happier. The place was lovely, location was perfect, the room was great & the roof terrace was a big bonus especially at night overlooking the city. A huge breakfast sitting on the terrace set me up for the day. But what really made it the perfect stay for me was the friendliness of the staff & all the help & advice I needed especially with help for my onward travel. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating and really made an effort to cater for intolerances at breakfast (gluten and milk). The room was small but in good condition and made up every day. The location is fantastic, very centrally located.
Cons: Although the building isn’t as noisy as the surrounding areas, there is no internal soundproofing - you can hear people walking up the stairs, leaving their room etc. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The bed is a little hard and the pillows are too big for my liking. The air conditioning wasn’t working on my trip but it was never above 21c inside even when 31 outside.

A very cozy and colorful riad in the very center of the old town. All popular locations and good restaurants can be reached on foot in 5-20 minutes (although the route runs through the market, but this is a feature of the center of Marrakech). I would also like to thank for the hospitality and help of the persons who worked at the hotel! At first glance, this place may seem unsafe due to its location in a busy shopping area, but in fact it is a common phenomenon in Marrakech (all riads are located on similar streets), so don't worry. During my entire stay, I did not encounter anything criminal, the location seemed very convenient to me. I was a little confused by the fact that the windows of my room were located opposite the windows of the neighbors, but this is a feature of the riad's architecture that just needs to be taken into account, so there are no complaints. I lived alone in a regular room, and it seemed to me that it was a little cramped, so for two people I recommend suites (on the third floor). The friendliness, comfort and cleanliness are at a high level! Thank you a lot!

Centrally located to the markets and dining. Right around the corner you can find an ATM as well as a gentleman who will sell you a SIM card for your phone, which you will need if you were traveling from out of country.
Cons: The rooms are tiny with very little room to maneuver. There is also no sound privacy as the rooms are traditional, and the doors are folding slap type doors. You will hear everything, including the birds chirping outside your door. All conversations that you have need to be monitored if you don’t want other people to listen.

We enjoyed the small personal feel of the Riad. Wahlid and Assan were both very kind. Wahlid went the extra mile for us every day. He was very helpful. Very kind. And we felt safe and taken care of. Breakfast was amazing. Loved sitting up on the rooftop. It was fun being so close to the town square marketplace.
Cons: We knew to expect it but it is a bit loud. Because the rooms all open to the same space. And you can her people snoring and someone's alarm clock going off. Not bad. Just notable. Bring earplugs. The rooms are really cute and comfortable. I slept very well after a long flight.

Nothing good
Cons: Dirty, loud and uncomfortable room. Possibly the worst hotel experience of my life. We arrived at the hotel at 10 pm - we were checked into a room on the first floor next to the reception. The rooms have no windows to the street - only windows to a crumbling inner courtyard, which are closed with wooden shutters that do not provide any sound insulation. It is extremely uncomfortable to be there. The bed is hard and uncomfortable. Instead of a double bed, there were two single beds pushed together. The room is dirty, the plumbing is rusty. Half an hour into our stay, our toilet burst, water poured onto the floor. We asked the manager to change the room, but we were refused, citing the fact that the hotel is fully booked. At 11 pm, we demanded a refund and went to spend the night in another hotel, where all these problems did not exist. A month of correspondence with Booking passed - the hotel said that we did not arrive at all and refuses to refund the money for the poor quality room. Totally unacceptable experience for over 80€/night.

The riad had a direct access to the main square Jemaa el-Fnaa. The breakfast was very filling and freshly prepared! Walid the main receptionist was very helpful, very communicative (direct reply online and in person) and polite, approaching us always with a smile. He recommended us a nice trip to Ourika Valley, which we loved!
Cons: The room was located in the same ground floor as the lobby so we couldn't open the windows in the room neither in the bathroom. Therefore, we consider the price for the ground floor room too high. Be prepared that the taxi doesn't drop you directly outside the riad. There are no cars allowed in very close proximity to the main square but the hotel organises for someone to pick you up from a nearby drop off place. We didn't know this in advance. Though they were helpful to explain to us during the transfer. We would have appreciated a receipt of payment at the end of our stay and when we completed the booking.

The staff are some of the nicest people I met in Marrakesh. They were always looking out for me. I really enjoyed the casual nature of El Habib. It’s right at the heart of the Old Medina and many nights there were events happening in the square. The breakfast is superb! Pomegranate and melon every day, fresh squeezed juice, coffee, tea, flat breads with honey and jam and cheese, an omelette. I miss it! Such sweet moments there, leading from the staff about their culture, meeting other travelers. Watching the sun rise from the roof top.
Cons: I wish someone would’ve explained to me that the riads inside of the old Medina are not accessible by car. This should not deter you from staying there, but it’s imperative to book your ride from the airport with the Riad, and not some other taxi service. This guarantees that someone will meet you and help bring your luggage through the maze. Also please note that breakfast is served on the roof and there’s no elevator so if you have mobility challenges you might struggle.

First of all Walid is an amazing superhost! I welcomed us to the riad and is very nice (the staff too). He made our stay pleasant. The room was nice, clean and spacious and located on the top floor. The stairs are good and well lit, so no problem with walking upstairs. The bathroom was a little bit not logically arranged (the other bathrooms were good), but that’s a minor issue. On the other hand, the windows of our room overlook the courtyard without a corridor on the window side, which is really great. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was also very quiet in our room for a riad. The TV works well with at least YouTube on it. The riad is located less than 1 minute from Jma el Fna, but don’t be afraid for noise pollution. It’s really quiet. Breakfast was great on the roof terrace. Thanks to Walid and the staff for this amazing stay. When we visit Marakkesh, we will certain come back to this riad.
Cons: Restyling the bathroom of one of rooms is the only recommendation I have (also to prevent wood rot to the beautiful wooden windows), but as I said a minor issue.

The location is excellent. Just a 2min walk from the Jemaa el fnaa, the main square of the Medina. There are lots of restaurants nearby where you can find authentic local Moroccan food. It is also close to the bus station opposite the Koutoubia mosque. Around 5 mins walk. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I stayed in the riad for 5 nights after my trip to the Sahara desert. Feeling super exhausted, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. He actually came and picked me up in the old medina where I got out of my car. The breakfast was nicely served on the rooftop where you are able to enjoy the sunset too.i personally really like the cheese omelette as one of the items in breakfast. It is just something you need to kickstart your day exploring the city. Fruits are arranged nicely and they just look appetizing. On the last day, I need to get to the airport in Casablanca at 11am. The riad also helped me arrange transfer to the train station at 0615 in the morning. The staff helped me carry my huge suitcase to the taxi. : ) I really enjoyed the stay in the riad. It did make me feel like home. I did some time on the rooftop to enjoy the sunset. It's a place where you can find peace of mind , away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina.

My room was well appointed, very clean, slightly compact, but it had everything I needed to be comfortable. It also had lots of power points and a safe that actually worked(not a given even at some 4 * hotels I had stayed in on my way to Marrakech). The location was ideal, just 100m from Jemaa El Fna and very safe for an older single female to walk back to at night. The 2 young men that took turns at reception were extremely helpful and professional. I had a problem with access to my Westpac Worldwide Card suddenly being blocked and had to ring Australia. They let me use the hotel's phone and after some very protracted and painful dealings with Westpac in Sydney, they did not want to accept payment for the call! They also arranged for a taxi driver to pick me up at 03.30 a.m from the riad to walk with me through the medina to where the taxi was parked to take me to the airport. Nothing was too much trouble and their attitude to service was just exceptional! I would stay there again and have since recommended Riad El Habib to friends.

Perfect location just next to the famous square "Djemaa el Fna", very clean and beautiful rooms and delicious breakfast at the rooftop. And the staff is very friendly, especially Abdel, who gave us a warm welcome and many good recommendations. We even got a room upgrade and a free dinner because we spontanously arrived one day later than planned. So we would definitely come back and highly recommend the riad to everyone!

The inner courtyard and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The bedroom was very comfortable. The two staff members we met were friendly and welcoming. We loved watching the sunset and the activity on Jemaa El-Fnaa square from the peaceful roof terrace where there were lots of comfortable seating options. The location is great - although it’s very close to the square and based within the medina the rooms are quiet, so it’s the perfect base from which to explore the city and then get a good night’s sleep.

Everything! Best Riad I've stayed in, in Marrakesh, and I've visited well over 10 times with my mountaineering work. From the warm welcome, even with early arrival, to the comfortable stay, the team at Riad El Habib were wonderful! Also very well sign posted, which of course does help!

El Habib is very beautifully decorated and very comfortable, my room was very clean and had a private bathroom, well furnished and very quiet at night. There are stairs to go up to the rooftop terrace and a key to the front entrance . Abdel is very friendly and helpful. The location is very good, near the centre and the taxi /car pick up and drop off point is only 50m away in the corner of the main square.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is lovely and filling (delicious fresh msemen) and it's very pleasant to start your day on the terrace with a view to the Medina. The riad is beautiful on the inside and the location is super convenient, right into the center. All in all it was a very good experience.
Cons: We were on the ground floor so you walk from the reception straight into our room. The windows open straight into the atrium of the riad. We basically kept the windows shut almost all the time we were in the room for privacy, although that wasn't much of a problem since we were out during the day. The main issue with that configuration is that the windows and doors aren't very well insulated so that means that it can get a bit loud when people are walking around in the morning or late at night. Bring ear plugs if you're a sensitive sleeper :)

Excellent location and good rooms. Nice breakfast. Good shower and hot water and the rooms have AC. There is a roof top terrace with good views. The staff, Younis and Walid, were absolutely brilliant. They made our stay a pleasure. No request was too much, and they will happily advise you on where to go and what to do. Highly recommended.
Cons: The ratings for the Riad are a little off. By European standards, I would say 1/2 stars. However, don't let this deter you. The rooms are comfortable and are cleaned daily. I'd happily stay here in the future.

The room was very nice and bigger than I expected. I liked the decoration which was kinda morroccan style but more modern and neutral with mainly white and wood. Beautiful riad with great views on the roof terrasse. Super close to the main square but still very quiet.
Cons: Bathroom is quite tight, it is really a squeeze to close the doors once inside the bathroom, it would be easier if the doors were opening towards the outside of the bathroom.

We encountered no issues with the room or bathroom; both were very clean, exactly as shown in the pictures. 30 meters from Jmaa el Fnaa, in an alleyway, behind a nondescript door, you will find an amazing riad. We were welcomed by Mursi, who quickly checked us in, gave us some info and showed us to our airconditioned room. He even offered us to join him for some cous cous but we went out to the square. On our return, he offered us some complimentary mint tea. He is such a polite gentleman. The riad itself is well appointed as per our pictures.

The riad was well decorated, the breakfast on the roof terrace was delicious (msemen, pastry, bread, orange juice, tea or coffee, jam/honey/butter/cream cheese), the room was clean, comfortable, and cosy, and the shower was hot with good water pressure. The location was excellent too, just a minute or so away from Jemaa el-Fna - if getting a taxi from the airport, just take it to Jemaa el-Fna and use google maps to walk to the riad from there.

Cons: The room was dark. It has several lamps all over the room, but still was dark The shower is very un-confortable. The location is the best you can ask for if you want to stay in the medina. It is less than 200 feet from the Jemaa El-Fnaa. It is actually in one of the shopping alleys going south from Jemaa El-Fnaa. Lots of restaurants close by. We arrived in Marrakech in the afternoon and cars are not allowed in Jemaa El-Fnaa after 1pm, so the driver dropped us off a little away from the Riad. But, Walid from the hotel reception came and carried our luggage to the hotel. So, the best thing about Riad El Habib is Walid, such a cheerful young man.
Cons: The rooms were not up to par. First they gave us a ground floor room with two windows facing the reception sitting area. It was noisy all day and night. Then, when we took a shower, the water flowed into the bedroom! This is absolutely unacceptable. We asked Walid to change our room and finally, he was able to give us a room in the second floor. This room was a little better, but smaller than the first room. Well, you cannot have everything. So, we decided to leave the hotel one day earlier than we originally planned. We paid for three nights, but stayed two nights only.

Near to square and its center, Medina. Big rooms and it was clean. Hard bed but it’s warm and comfy. Lovely Balcony and the breakfast was yum!
Cons: We were expecting to book 3 rooms for us separately but then we only got 2 available. This was recommended by our friend btw thats why we chose it. The room for 2 people seems small for 2 and not much enough space inn the toilet area to move(my 2 other friends room). When we are arrive around 1pm, rooms are not yet available for us even though we informed them about our estimated time of arrival. We did not wait for it to finish cleaning since we also do not want to waste our time and we want to explore the city. Other than that, everything’s fine

Entering the Riad you are welcomed in a very warm and peaceful atmosphere. Simply designed, yet very authentic with the natural light coming from the ceiling it expresses comfort and safety. Our room and bathroom were small but as we were travelling only with a small backpack the space was enough. What impressed us most was the hospitality we were treated with. From day one until we left, Walid was there to answer all our questions, to give us honest tips and advice how to spend the time and money right in Marrakech. We are very grateful for his service. Not only him, but the whole team is engaged in making all the efforts to make your stay a “home like” experience. One more thing to mention is the ROOFTOP terrace, which is a lovely place to relax, watch, sunsets, read, sleep…whatever you are up to at any time. We enjoyed our stay a lot and we would definitely recommend the place to anyone who is looking for an authentic stay and experience in Marrakech.

I was very happy with my stay here. It was my first time in Morocco travelling from Belfast and I could not have picked a better location. Easy to locate, just find the Waffle Factory and your only a few hundred steps away. The location, right off the square is as good as it gets. Literally, a sample of everything in Marrakech, food, clothing, a barber, jewelry, shoes, and so much more just a few steps outside the door of El Habib. Breakfast was wonderful. Eggs, fruit, yogurt, breads, juice, coffee, jams and jellies all served to you by a kind and attentive staff.
Cons: The place is great and I have no real complaints. I would probably mention the mattress on my bed was quite firm. The bed was not uncomfortable, but it was firm. I found that to be common throughout Morocco.

very comfortable and beautiful place. The roof terrace is exceptional for sunset and sunrise. Above all the staff in the riad were absolutely amazing. I felt very welcomed and taken care of. Super helpful and warm people :) the location was very very good as well.
Cons: Just to keep in mind it can be a little noisy. I was in the room at the same floor as the entrance so I could hear everything (personally I’m an early sleeper :)). It didn’t ruin my experience but perhaps to keep in mind for the more light sleepers. Though during the night it was super quiet and nice.

Beautiful new riad which smells of freshly sawn wood and the carpentry is exquisite. A cosy ambient space with a stunning roof terrace and gorgeous furniture Cute rooms, small but perfectly formed and dressed, with air-conditioning. If a couple Id suggest the slightly larger rooms which they have The location could not be better. Abdul suggested a place for me to eat very near at around 9pm but sadly I came down with cramps and food poisoning at around 1am so spent the only night I had here being ill so did not sleep or enjoy the room the next morning. Make sure where you eat, the food arives volcano hot before consuming. Mine wasn't, and apparantly, they have some tagine bases pre prepared so that may have been the cause. The staff here at this riad made me mint, fennel, and cumin tea as a remedy, which was kind of them. They also printed my boarding pass as Morocco requires paper copies so I was grateful. No paper copy means a hefty cost! On the subject of airport although its not related to this riad, be prepared , as staff were quite militant with measuring carry ons, charging extra for handbags and checking snd double checking paperwork at every station through to boarding. A few fell foul of the process regardless of how many times they had passed through Ryanair with the same bags. I definitely recommend this riad to my friends and family as it's a peaceful cool oasis in the midst of the chaos and searing heat of Jmaa El Fnaa Square. If I came to Marrakech again and stay here without a doubt.
Cons: It's hardly a real negative but there was nowhere to put bits and pieces, so Id feedback a little 3 shelf item would make this room perfect to unpack your smaller bits for settling in.

Incredible staff, very friendly, they made reservations for us in a restaurant, a taxi to the airport, they recommended places to visit and were always ready for whatever we needed. On the day of departure we left before breakfast began and the cook prepared food for us so that we could take us on our trip!

very beautiful room and the best roof-top in the Medina. super friendly and helpful staff. it’s like staying with your family. the room was super pretty and a perfect location. and although it is in the middle of everything entering felt always peaceful and quiet. I slept great there.
Cons: i would have liked a key for the entrance door. ringing the doorbell and waiting outside was sometimes a bit uncomfortable.

The property was incredibly close to the main square, right in the middle of the action. Within a minute of walking, you're in the most active part of Marrakech. Restaurants, food stalls, shops, etc, are right there. Breakfast is typical moroccan - a good thing. Diverse, great portions and served at the balcony. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. On my last morning, I checked out and they kept my bags while I went for a walk - at no extra charge.
Cons: There is no sound insulation on the windows, so I could hear everything happening in the Riad; not ideal if you're in a for a good night's rest.

the location was good. the staff were helpful.
Cons: it’s more of a hotel rather than a traditional Riad. the bathrooms were way too tiny, very difficult to get in and get out. the most negative aspect is that they don’t accept credit card payments and ask for 5% surcharge in case of card payment. never seen such kind of system thru booking.com

Our stay was better than we could’ve imagined. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located, close to everything we wanted to see. The staff were the absolute highlight and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. They even planned a 3 day excursion for us and made sure we got a better than fair price. They gave us recommendations on what to do in the city, helped us get gifts and taxis, best stay we could’ve had. Thank you!

Rooms are cozy and clean. Stuff very nice and accommodating. Delicious Breakfast. Location is perfect for visiting place jamaa-el-fna at any time of day or night, just few steps from it. Also to wander in old medina and its historical landmarks. We can hear and smell the craziness of this unique place from riad terrace. Highly recommended if you're looking for a comfortable place in the heart of what makes marrakech what it is known for.
Cons: Well it is not related to the place itself, but to the crazy city marrakech is. Mainly, traffic in narrow streets. Inhabitants do not seem to be mad at tourists at all, but they try to make themselves a way in these narrow ways with their bikes or motorbikes. The other thing is taxi drivers, we had a couple who were honest. But we had a few that are greedy, especially when it comes to airport commute. You'd better have an idea before of what is a reasonable fee.

The access is super easy - literally 1 minute from the main square. The room was clean and the Riad looks very nice overall. The breakfast was very good and we really appreciated that they were flexible with the time - we had a trip booked early in the morning and they were very nice to prepare the breakfast for us earlier than usual. Highly recommend place to stay.
Cons: The bathroom is super small - in our room in order to close the door from inside you need to do some complex maneuvers :) but i can understand that the structure/building of the Riad is different than a normal building. This was a small inconvenient comparing to all the good things this Riad offers - but i imagine that for a family with kids (or if there is a need for multiple people to be in the bathroom in the same time) it can be challenging.

I couldn’t recommend the Riad more! We stayed here as a couple together with our friends for 4 nights and the experience was really fantastic, mostly thanks to the people working there. We mostly interacted with Abdul who was so incredibly kind and welcoming, he made sure that our breakfast was ready on time even though it was super early cause we were going for excursion and he was very open to talk to us and exchange experiences. The riad itself has a very nice rooftop and is very clean. Bed in our room was also very comfortable. The location is definitely a strong asset - it’s literally 1 min from the main square where most excursions come from. Also, we arrived in the riad very late and left it late - the staff always made sure to walk us to the driver (we booked a transfer) which made us feel safe.
Cons: The only thing we found a little annoying were a little birds chirping around 3-4 am, which probably might be a typical thing for riads due to the way they are built. Otherwise, nothing to complain about :)

From the friendly reception to the beautifully appointed rooms, rooftop terraces and excellent breakfast, this is a lovely place to stay. The location in Marrakesh is, of course, perfect. Museums, gardens, palaces, “souks” and restaurants of every type are within walking distance. The wifi is very good and the television had good reception as well.
Cons: Our taxi from the airport left us at the far end of the narrow, pedestrian only, shopping street on which the riad is located. The walk is not prohibitively long (and it is certainly no reason not to stay here) but as a first time visitor to Marrakech, a “heads-up” by the management of what to expect would have been much appreciated. I recommend to use their "shuttle service" to avoid confusion. Do not stay in room 11 “Chefchaouen” if possible as it is directly under the kitchen/rooftop terrace and is quite noisy (cleaning?) until late evening. There seemed to be no dinner options during our stay, which seemed odd since the food is highly recommended on booking.com. (Luckily, there are plenty of restaurants in the area.) The bathroom is actually quite small, which suited us as we are not large people, but I had to wonder how some larger people would navigate it.

Located in the heart of the Medina, this riad is everything you could ask for! The rooms are absolutely beautiful and cozy. With air conditioning, all amenities that you need, TV, gorgeous decoration. We spent a lot of time as well in the terraces. They serve you breakfast there (which is amazing, tasty and fresh), with a lot of variety, and at night we would stay and enjoy the view with some tea. The way the staff brought a peace to this journey. They were always very welcoming and opened to a conversation. I cared to see the way you can really connect with them and the way they love to tell you everything about the culture, the places to visit, where to eat. I also have to give a special thanks to Abdelatif, the night staff. We would always arrived late, and he prepared the best tea we drank in Morocco. We made a true connection and he made us feel at home - never knew someone so passionate about giving to people and sharing as well. I would more than recommend you to visit this riad and these people, because you will never forget! ❤️

Breakfast in the riad was very nice. Also, it has a beautiful rooftop terrace and friendly staff.
Cons: The rooms are rather uncomfortable, you feel like in a hostel, but for a much higher price. I think the facility wasn’t worth the money paid. Mainly, because of the room arrangements: the shower here is simply above the toilet, and the water splashes everywhere in the bathroom. Bathroom and Bedroom has small windows that you can open, but all the windows opens up into the corridor, so you are left with an option to have light coming in and no privacy in the bathroom or bedroom or have your privacy but no daylight.

The location is excellent, it's just 2 minutes walk from Jemaa El Fna, which is very convenient for us. Our room was upgraded to a bigger room which we were thankful for. The room is spacious, clean, bright and has great moroccan design. The bathroom is nice and clean. But above all things, we appreciate the hospitality of the staff the most. They are exceptionally kind, considerate and really accommodating our needs. We needed to wake up very early to catch the sahara tour at 7am, and brother Abdel prepared our takeout breakfast at 6.30am. Brother Abdel and brother Walid also let us keep our luggage in the Riad the second time we came back visiting Jemaa El Fna. Thanks so much for your kindness. Brother Walid even treated us with moroccan tea and biscuits. We really enjoyed it! Definitely will stay again in Riad El Habib on our next trip to Morocco. Highly recommended!

Riad El Habib was lovely. It was clean, beautiful, quiet and the people who ran it were genuinely kind and friendly. The location was very close to anything one could want to do in the Medina and 1-2 blocks from theDjemma al finn. We arrived late in the evening and when we woke up we were given a delicious breakfast on the very beautiful terrace on the roof. It was a lovely way to start our time in Morocco. room deco was nice. the guy working in the evening was super kind . he came to change our sheets ( not properly changed before and dirty) and made us a small breakfast to go for the early check out in the morning - nice view from terrace
Cons: the riad wasn’t very charming - noisy but worst of all the room wasn’t clean at all. I found hair on the bathroom floor, dust in the wc not flushed and hairs on the sheets . I asked the staff working at night to change them and he did it but we were so tired after a long journey and we slept 5 hours in the end. we had previously stayed in another riad for little more money and was amazing ... so disappointed by this one. the shower and the wc are in the same area so when u shower u shower the window and the wc too.

Perfect location. Near Jemaa El-Fna market place and easy to find. About 20 meters from the hotel door, there is a lively street (with shops and food stalls) leading to the market square. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Our room had all we needed. There are enough socket in the room (2 at the night table, 2 more in the room and one in the bathroom). The bed was a little hard but still comfortable. There is a TV but we didn't try it out. There is also an AC which we didn't use because the room temperature was already optimal. The bathroom was clean. Water pressure was great, the adjustable temperature was perfect too.
Cons: The rooms are not noise proof at all. We were on the 2nd floor and we could hear the bell ring at the reception. We could also hear every movement from the terrace above us. The breakfast could be improved but considering the cheap price we paid for our stay, the breakfast was sufficient.

This Riad was absolutely superb! Firstly - the room was a good size and comfortable, with a nice bathroom, and excellent aircon. But more than this, the staff were fanatstic. Regrettably my husband was very ill during our stay at the Riad (and ended up needing a doctor to visit the hotel). Waleed and Abdul went out of their way to be helpful, from getting a doctor to visit the hotel (twice), to helping me get to the night pharmacy to buy some medicine. We had to extend our stay by a few days and they let us stay in the same room, which was such a relief, and they were so kind, making up a tray of breakfast for my husband. Honestly their kindness and care was incredible - all the staff were always asking after my husband and I can't reccomend this hotel enough. In terms of location - it is very close to Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The Riad sells water as well which is very convenient and there is a small shop nearby selling snacks etc. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance and ATMs just by the square. It is not as close to the main souk area but you can easily walk there if you want to.
Cons: Nothing, it was all perfect

Everything about the Riad was superb from the beginning till the end. Walid and staff were all very welcoming and so helpful. They arranged our airport transfers, a fantastic private day tour and a wonderful birthday dinner for 5 of us, they even provided a delicious birthday cake for my mum! The rooms were very clean and comfortable even though we were a few steps from the main square it was still nice and quiet in the Riad. Breakfast was so delicious and the staff always provided what was needed. Walid and Abdou were very helpful with recommendations on where to go during our stay and made us all feel very comfortable. I will 100% be coming back to stay at the Riad again. Thank you so much for making our stay in Marrakech so enjoyable.

Well located and newly renovated Riad just a few meters away from the main square! breakfast was good incl. fresh fruit, and staff was very friendly. the bed was comfortable (hard) though could do with a bigger thin blanket - it did get quite hot but we don’t like to have the air condition running during the night. the chairs are comfortable and the room size is also fine for 2 nights. we got some helpful tips on where to park our car, however google maps didn’t manage to get us there (in the middle of the Medina) so we had to use another parking.
Cons: Our room (Tanger) was really loud, as the terrace was right above it, every movement of chairs or tables was like it was in the room so not even earplugs helped (hopefully the staff will implement our suggestion to put some carpets there), also the bathroom was quite small so that shower and toilet were basically one space and the toilet was kind of in the shower. Finally a key to the main door would have been good because it is a bit creepy during night to wait outside the front door in this side alley until someone opens up.

So near to Jemma el Fna and the souks. Walid and Abdul (and the 2 ladies !) were so welcoming and helpful. We were so at home from the minute Walid sat us on the luxurious couch and poured our welcoming mint tea to Abdul's farewell to us in the square for a very early morning flight home. Our room was spacious although lacking wardrobe space and clothes hangers. The shower , well that just took a bit of getting used to ! Breakfasts on the upper terrace were a delight with breads, pastries, omelettes and home made cakes, fruits and yogurts. This is a newly refurbished riad right in the centre of the Medina. Great value for money, we had a fabulous stay. Thank you - Choukran

El Habib - Arabic for the beloved, my love, darling and it's beyond fitting... And Moroccan Gnawa Singer too, would you like to check his music out on Spotify, why not? El Habib Is a gorgeous blend of sharp modern white walls and Carrera marble floors, with ornate natural wood doorways and black wrought iron details, romantic metal lanterns centered perfectly. The zellij is quaint and quiet downstairs upon entry, formal Moroccan sitting room with antique framed art and live plants and vases for scale., Truly an awe to sit and have mint tea and breakfast while looking up to the architectural details serenely designed around. From the columns, to the archways, ceilings and railing of the two floors above, El Habib is the feeling of your own private home, full of soft natural light or moody dark rooms depending on your preference to open and close the tall shutters and the many layering of lighting offered, from sconces over the beds, to bes side, overhead, bathroom and mirror. Breakfast may also be enjoyed upstairs on the covered terrace where Berber seating is wrap around the space rich red patterned cushions...there are also terrace tables and seating as well as rooftop even higher, both offering expansive 360 view of square, tower, mountains, sunrise and sunsets to die for. This place is a palace to me... As in interior designer visiting from California and Texas, staying in as many Riads during my stay, this is the one place I have wanted to extend and stay forever into the future, I can not wait to return many times in this life... the design will inspire and influence my work as an artist, painter, maybe even my own bedroom and home will carry a beloved feeling of El Habib.

Breakfast is the best one you will have! Location is just perfect, close to the main plaza Staff really nice Hotel seems to be brand new
Cons: Just FYI - Bathroom is small (but we knew before going there, so we were not negatively surprised) Found two hairs in the bathroom - but beyond that it was clean.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. Khalid and Walid were super nice, they helped us to contact with the car rental agency and also to find some goods for the road
Cons: In our room, the toilet was pretty close to the shower, but the other rooms were ok.

Perfect location to reach the central Jemaa el Fna Square, just around the corner. The personal was very nice and helpful for any kind of assistance.
Cons: We chose a room at the ground floor because it was fresh and indeed we didn't use the air conditioning, but we had people in the patio chatting and watching videos making noise until very late in the night. We haven't any curtain: we had our windows shut all the time because the room was just at the entrance patio.

An amazing place to stay. A thoughtfully built/renovated riad, with beautiful handmade furniture, finishes and decorations. Spotlessly clean rooms, very nice rooftop where tasty Moroccan breakfast is served. But absolute prime of our stay in this riad were the staff. Walid, together with Ahcen and lady in kitchen (whose name I unfortunately don’t know, but who makes the best ‘bahrir’ ever) as well as the riad’s owner made my family and myself feel more than welcome and went really an extra mile in providing us the premium service, friendly advices and help with all the inquiries. Massive thanks for that and I definitely recommend the stay in this riad!

A sanctuary away from the hectic jemaa el fna and souks, which are just a stone's throw away. Tastefully designed, private, very clean and well cooled rooms. Walid the GM, and Elhassan the porter are very welcoming, willing and able, and go the extra mile to ensure needs are met. Breakfast is more than adequate.
