Amazing property. Deeply impressed with attention to every detail. Stayed with my friend for one night only. Hopefully will make it to Marrakesh again and if so- I’ll definitely try to stay at this lovely Riad. Host but also neighbours were super friendly and polite which made the stay less stressful when we couldn’t find the place.

Cons: If I have to say what I didn’t like it will be only the fact that sat nav is misleading and won’t show you exactly where the place is hence difficult to find for a first timer like myself.

Nice Riad - super central, great breakfast and very nice staff. My friends absolutely loved it and would definitely come back.

In one word, perfect. First of all, I would like to thank the owner Khalid for his kind and gentle hospitality. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was incredibly delicious. And the location is very good. Only 2 minutes away from the bazaar and El Fna Square. This made us very comfortable and we were able to visit everywhere at any time we wanted. I must say with all my sincerity that you can come here without thinking. I highly recommend it

The kindness and hospitality of the staff was incredible, nothing was too much trouble. On one night we arrived back quite late to our room and one of our group had mentioned that it would have been nice to have a hot drink, within moments a staff member who must have overheard our conversation, invited us to take complimentary tea on the roof terraces. On our last day, the owner also kindly offered us complimentary tea or coffee whilst we waited for our taxi transfer to the airport. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was substantial. The air con was effective and hot water was available all day. We would happily stay here again

The Riad is centrally located but at the same time quiet, on a side street. The decor is unique and very well thought out down to the smallest detail. The common areas and bedrooms are tastefully furnished, very clean and cozy. The terrace is a real oasis of peace, to regain some tranquility on your way back from the medina. The breakfast is rich, with homemade and high-quality products. The staff is really kind, helpful and friendly and helped make our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much again for everything!

The best riad in the whole Morocco. 100% worth a little higher price than other, also nice accommodation around. Very clean, very well decorated. Riad has a beautiful, well maintained terrace and separate restaurant area. Staff is super nice and helpful. It was the best decision I made during my 4 visits in Morocco. Very close to Jemaa el-Fnaa square, in the heart of Medina. For me it’s 11/10 and I rarely give 10. Thank you and see you next time!!!!! Definitely!!!!!!

The location was superb, you are minutes to the main square. We were able to choose between two rooms when we arrived and we picked the rooftop room and did not disaapointed. It felt like a little private roof top to us during the after when you can sit outside and relax for awhile till the sun goes down.

Mohammed and Khalid were incredibly friendly and hospitable, and would do anything to make us feel welcome. They were very quick to get in touch and at hand to give advice when we arrived, including where to go and what to avoid. The location of the riad was very nice, yet still very quiet. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially when we had complaints or were dissatisfied with something; they were always there to assist. Breakfast was excellent and the location was amazing just 5 minutes to Jemaa El Fna. The Riad is clean and quiet, it has a welcoming peaceful atmosphere. I want to talk about the manager Khaled and the owner as well, they are extraordinary people. My mother who was the guest, on her third night, my mom got very sick and had stomach problems, vomiting, and pain, so Khaled took my mother to the emergency room and made sure she was doing fine. When they returned to riad, the owner waited at the door to check if my mom was good. Khaled made a warm Zaatar drink for Mom so that she felt better. They treated her as family. I am so glad and pleased to have chosen Riad Dar En Nawat, amazing place, location, food, atmosphere, and above all amazing staff who have the human touch. Completely surpassed the expectations we had! I had read the reviews beforehand and kept seeing comments on how kind, friendly, and hospitable Khalid was. Once you arrive and experience the kindness and hospitality of all the staff, you will realise why the comments say this. Mohammed and Abdul were also amazing! I had travelled with my wife and toddler and we were made to feel like family staying there. We were all blown away by the beauty of this Riad and the rich history behind it. The room was clean and comfortable, having everything to meet our needs and was cleaned daily- important when you have a toddler you are changing nappies for. The breakfast was all homemade- some of the best food we've had on our travels honestly. We loved the roof terrace and spent some afternoons just chilling here and reading. Khalid was always attentive towards us and our baby. My location of the Riad is ideal as it is close to the main square with lots of great markets to shop around. Overall we were so pleased with our experience. We hope to return to Morocco insha'Allah and stay with Khalid once again!

Cons: Nothing to complain about- there were so many positives from the experience I cannot think of any bad experiences we had. Only negative is that we did not stay long enough!

An unforgettable stay in the heart of Morocco Our stay at Dar En-Nawat was a real pleasure from start to finish. The hotel impresses with its authentic Moroccan architecture, which creates a welcoming atmosphere and immediately immerses you in the country's rich culture and history. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and furnished with great attention to detail, reflecting the traditional charm of Morocco. The beds are incredibly comfortable - you sink into them and don't want to get up again. The service at Dar En-Nawat is outstanding. Every member of staff goes out of their way to make your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. The hospitality is warm and personal, we have never experienced hospitality like this before. The staff simply make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Khalid was always there for us, gave us tips and even took us to the taxi at 2 a.m. on the day of departure. Thanks to him and the whole team we had such a great stay. Many thanks to Khalid, Mohammed, Abdul and Pierre. The cuisine was undoubtedly a highlight of my stay. The hotel restaurant offers an excellent selection of traditional Moroccan dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Every dish was a culinary experience that perfectly showcased the diversity of Moroccan flavors. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the beauty of Morocco. Whether it's the lively markets, historical sights or the breathtaking scenery, everything is within easy reach. In addition, the hotel offers helpful tips and assistance in planning excursions and activities to ensure you make the most of your stay. In conclusion, our stay at Dar En-Nawat was a truly enriching experience. The perfect blend of traditional charm, excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere makes this hotel an ideal place for anyone wanting to experience the real Morocco. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can highly recommend the Dar En-Nawat.

Cons: It was quite noisy, so if you are travelling with kids or someone who prefers quietness, you might want to weigh your options. If you are tall or have long legs, you probably won't be comfortable on the toilet, and the water pressure of the shower head could use some improvement

Kindness of the staff, delicious breakfast, location in the centre of Marrakech to name but a few. The owner Khalid is an exceptional person, always smiling and willing to help and advise us. He welcomed us personally, offering tea and cakes when we arrived at 11pm. He found and booked us a local Hamam with massage, not a tourist trap, at a good price. He even booked us a taxi and drove us to pick it up at 3am! We always felt welcome and found hospitality that is rarely found.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here, we weren't sure what to expect but booked due to the excellent reviews. The facilities shown for the room we booked were not quite as expected, we did have a bathroom joining our room (with no lock), Air conditioning was an electric fan on the wall, Toilet, Towels, Linen, Socket near the bed, Tile (not marble) floor, Seating Area (small table and 2 chairs), Hairdryer, Outdoor dining area, Patio, Dining area, Dining table, Upper floors were accessible by stairs only, Clothes rail, Toilet paper, shampoo and shower gel. Coffee house/restaurant on site could imply that it is always available but it's not a restaurant, just a room to eat breakfast in. The rooms were unique and had lovely ceilings etc. Although the bolts to lock the doors added character to match the decor, they were noisy when locking/unlocking and you had to bend your head to get in/out to avoid banging it. The host Khalid and his staff were very friendly and took good care of us, Khalid helped us with the language barrier with some bookings we had made prior. Breakfast was very tasty and although there was not anyone around the first morning to check allergies with, Khalid was available by Whatsapp thereafter. The property is not accessible by car/taxi (in an alley) and the nearest meeting point for the taxi is a few minutes walk. We felt safe to be walking around the property and area at all times, it is minutes walk from the square and in a central location.

Cons: The following were advertised when we booked; 'View' - was not a view from our room as such, safety deposit box - not in our room, 'bath' or shower - only a basic shower no bath, cleaning products - none in room, Iron - not in our room. Soundproof - not our room.

The breakfast was exceptional! The location perfect with less then a minute walk from the main square of Marrakech. The people at the Riad was the best thing! Since my arrival I was helped with the parking and with the walk to the Riad. The owner and the other workers were Always, and I mean always ready to help! I sincerely was amazed by the owner, he made myself and my partner feel at home! I visited Marocco twice and this Riad was honestly the best place I stayed! I visited different cities, hotel, resort and riads, but nowhere else was like this place! Thank you so much Khalid! I’ll most definitely come again!!

Cons: Absolutely nothing!!!

Outstanding host. Friendly and helpful in every possible way. The rooms were beautifully designed with traditional touches throughout. A quiet oasis in the hustle and bustle of old Marrakesh. Just a stones throw from the square. Would travel to Morocco again just to stay in Riad Dar En-Nawat. Highest possible recommendation.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was A+

New and well maintained property, great attention to details. Location is perfect and few minutes walk from the market with many restaurants close by. The breakfast is excellent with a variety of options served at the teras. The host Khalid treated us like family and made sure we get the best experience, he also arranged a great day activity in the desert.

We loved everything about this accommodation. Abdoul & Mohammed are the best hosts we ever had, they really made us feel like at home. We have no words to explain their extraordinary sense of hospitality of them. The rooms were very clean, the cleanest we actually had in Morocco, towels were changed everyday, breakfast was top and the bed & sheets were excellent! We slept very well there. Khalid who was actually on holiday, still organized for us an excursion to the three valleys, which we also liked very much. Overall, we will recommend this accommodation to all our friends and when coming to Marrakech, we'll stay there again.

- Location was everything, 5 minutes close to the Fna square, super nice area (Zitoun Kdim area) with shops and restaurants and even some bars (Pergola jazz bar), but not too overcrowded like the some others areas of the Medina (like the souks). Zero noise from inside the riad, it's quite and peaceful. - Staff is amazing, Abdoul was amazing, so friendly and helpful and flexible and always available. Mohammed was also so sweet and friendly and accommodating. - Cozy and very quiet place where you feel alone and can disconnect with no noise, but also staff are always available if you need them. Very green and beautiful rooftop. - Breakfast was great. - Bedding was of high quality, bed covers, sheets and pillows were great and the mattress was very comfortable. - AC worked very well, but i turned it off in the night (i felt no need). - Free water in the room was appreciated.

Cons: - Each room is different so pick the room you want. I booked the ''double room'' which was great. But it's on the rooftop and next to the breakfast area so you might hear some noise in the morning if people have early breakfast and you can hear loud birds, but for me it was no issue even though i have light sleep and very sensitive to noise, it was perfect. - Maybe add more hangers for clothes in the closet.

Great location, at the end of a quiet backstreet yet only 5 mins walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa square. This is a lovely traditional Riad. Lovely breakfast and very helpful staff.

Cons: The room felt smaller in reality than it looked on the pictures, but small rooms are what you should expect in the Medina of Marrakesh.

If you would like to experience a real traditional riad then come to Riad Dar En-Nawat. The two stories house was carefully restored and has with its decoration a spirit of true Marakesh. It is a very personal small riad with 6-7 rooms with a very cosy atmosphere. The riad Manager Khalid will make everything for you so that you feel perfectly happy and satisfied. Khalid started the communication already 2 weeks before our arrival and organized practically everything what we needed and beyond. We landed at the airport in the middle of the night, cheap transfer was organized, pickup of luggage before medina, high professional tourist guide scheduled, desert trip, etc. Khalid and the riad staff showed us what real and honest Moroccan hospitality is and with the days passing Riad Dar En-Nawat became like our home. A quiet oasis few minutes walk from Djama El Fna stampedo, super sleep in comfortable beds, good breakfast at the rooftop terrace and always welcoming hosts. It is a perfect place if you come with family or a group of friends. Do not expect a super luxury place or a posh swimming pool. Neither room with windows to the street. Here you will find warmth, tranquility, and true hospitality.

Cons: None

Khalid went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. He met us at the taxi to guide us to the Riad, always made us feel comfortable, helped us with anything we needed, and gave us great advice on where to go and how to make the most of Marrekesh. Dinner on the rooftop terrace our first night was top notch and one of our best memories. Abdul can really cook. Breakfasts were wonderful too. There are many beautiful Riads, but this location is great, and the staff really go out of their way to make your stay the best. Khalid and Abdul became our friends and we would definitely stay here again!

Cons: I don't recall anything negative about the Riad.

It was just an AMAZING experience!! We have been treated like royals. The breakfast was awesome and according to our preferences and even when my little was hungry very late night, they have been giving him something to eat and drink with a huge smile. We have been given great advices on activities and all has been organised by our excellent host with right price!

Cons: Nothing to say here.

Our favorite Riad in Morocco! We were a group of 5 arriving at the Dar En Nawat at different times, and the team working there was very helpful. They contacted us beforehand to make sure we had accurate directions and advised our taxi driver. We were happy with our room size and facility cleanliness. The location is very, very central to the medina and main square (5 mins max), with a late-night sandwich shop open until 12 AM just around the corner for late-night arrivals. The accommodation was very easy to find - we did not have any data on our phones and could find it by memory. However, it was still in a quiet location where the main sounds of the square could not be heard. As someone sensitive to noises, I felt our room was very isolated and quiet from the city. The breakfast... best yogurt and honey I ever had! I still dream about their delicious food even now after returning home. Their tagine is also delicious. The beds were extremely comfortable and everyone in our group mentioned that as soon as they laid down, they were trapped in the beds and fell asleep fast. They are softer than the average Moroccan bed. Overall, the staff was very sweet and accommodating - special thanks to Abdul, Khalid, the owner, and the woman who does a great job at the housekeeping! We will return to this place if in Marrakesh again. It feels now like a second home. Thanks to the staff for a great trip, great Riad, and great location!

Cons: Didn't want to leave!

The riad was really good and well located, 5min walking from the plaza Jemaa El Fna. Our room was on the private terrace where we also had breakfast. The room was well furnished and decorated with Moroccan details. The owner is a welcoming and fun person and the staff was always available. Abd Assadik assisted us with many things and booked for us a nice tour in Agafay. Overall the stay was beautiful!

We were extremely well looked after by Khalid and his team. The room was very comfortable, and the suite has its own private terrace on the roof. Breakfast was delicious and ample. The location is superb, just a few minutes walk from the square.

Cons: WiFi was quite weak. Our pre-arranged pickup from the airport didn’t work well, and we waited almost an hour (though our flight was very prompt).

Great little Riad right next to the main square of the Medina. Surprisingly quiet during both the day and night. The owner was super nice and the manager took great care of us and arranged transport from and to the airport and everything else we needed. We felt really taken care of. The breakfast was superb!!! Bed very comfy. Towels changed daily. The terrace was also really nice. I would say it is absolutely excellent value for money and the hosts are great.

Cons: The A/C had some issues and sometimes was working, sometimes not, so we were cold at times, as we visited in February. Also there was a smell sometimes from the shower, but I think this might be a general Marrakesh issue in the old city.

This was one of the best stays I have ever experienced! The staff at this Riad goes above and beyond in every single way possible. They really make you feel at home from the minute you step foot in the front door! The location is in a quiet area yet close to the main square, cafes, and restaurants. The rooms and beds were extremely comfortable and the interior design of the space is wonderful. The staff also helps us so much in organizing transport, a desert trip, recommendations for places to eat and explore. Definitely stay here! You won't regret it!

Cons: Absolutely nothing! It was all wonderful!

The riad is located 3 mins walk from Jemaa El Fna main city square. Most Marrakech attractions can be visited within walking distance. Khalid and Abdul are very kind and helpful. They helped us with a lot of things like planning day trip in Atlas Mountains or telling us what fair price for taxi or local products is. Breakfast was very delicious. We were impressed by riad decoration, authentic furniture and equipment made of natural materials only. Highly recommend this place!

Exceptionally friendly hosts. Khalid texted me a few days before the stay to help in advance, and on the morning of departure, the owner walked with me to the square to hail a taxi at an early hour. Thankfully I got a good taxi rate as well. Bfast included a fried egg instead of typical boiled egg in Morocco, and beds and pillows were comfy. The room amenities were well thought out, with good shelves and lighting (much appreciated after 2 prior wks of average stays in other moroccan hotels). Overall, you can tell the love and care that has gone into this new riad. Much appreciated!!

Cons: Riad is near the main Jemaa square but can be hard to find, and esp with heavy luggage over cobblestones. Better for the taxi to stop at the main square than Riad Lkim (the other way in which is 2x longer walk). My a/c and hairdryer tripped the circuit, so the owner advised me not to use the a/c and brought in a small heater instead to warm up the room - a kind touch as the weather was about 4 deg in Marakkesh!

The host is very kind and treats us with traditional tee so as the others. He gave us many tips like where to change the currency which turns out to be the best in Marrakech according my experience. He got up very early to still serve us the breakfast bcz we have to leave early that morning, which we appreciate so much. The room is neat and clean, so does the riad. The location is very convenient like 2 minutes on foot to the square, but in a quiet street.

The hotel was recently renovated to a very high standard. Clearly, a lot of thought has gone into it and is a traditional Moroccan style hotel. The bed is also very comfortable. Pierre (the owner) and Halid (Hotel Manager) are true Gentlemen. Going the extra mile is an understatement as they help in every way they can. The hotel is also in a great location. It is in a very quiet spot but is only a 5 minute walk to the main square in the old town.

The staff and the owner were very polite and welcoming. They immediately welcomed us with some tea and explained to us how to move around the city, as well as answer any of our inquiries. In comparison to other Riads we have stayed at it has a very traditional feel, it’s clean, calm and a great example of how Riad life used to be lived. The rooms are beautiful with great attention to detail. The rooftop is gorgeous with a great view of the city and the Mousque. Great breakfast as well.
