Owner Sabah and her staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop patio was delightful with homemade breads and cakes. Close to the Medina.

Cons: Just the crazy traffic with the cars, motorcycles, and bikes, it's very chaotic, and you need to have your head on swivel.

The riad was very lovely and the rooftop amazing. The staff was very friendly and we even got some recommendations on what to do. We felt very comfortable.

Cons: The rooms are not very soundproof and relatively dark. You need to be aware that it is not possible to park your car in the medina in general, but there are parking spots like 400m away. We got charged 100 dirham (10€), but that was probably a scam and the parking would have been free.

We liked the location, the staff was friendly and ready to help. Clean room. Nice breakfast

Cons: It got quite noisy as we had a room on the ground floor. There are no rules around curfew, le silence afger 22 o clock, which - in our opinion- would be beneficial for the guests. So we recommend you to bring earplugs. Also no window in the room… we had better stays in Marrakech.

Riad Sabah became a home to me from my first visit in the Spring. I liked it so much I returned in the Winter. Riad Sabah offers a tranquil respite. A place where you can relax, and quiet your mind. Breakfast at the rooftop or down in the foyer are both a perfect experience. The rooms are beautiful, the way they are adorned, the comfy beds - I was surprised to find the rooms cleaned after a day out. It was very professional and kind of the staff to have our room ready each afternoon. The team at the Riad treat their guests like family or long time familiar friends. Home cooked breakfast or Dinner (food is made all by hand) Riad Sabah is truly a splendid place in Marrakech. Walking distance to the medina. Tuk-Tuk are only 50 Dirhams from the Medina.

Cons: Everything was perfect! I have stayed at Riad Sabah on two trips to Marrakech.

Nice hosts, good location in Kasbah, access with taxi/car a few minutes away. The Riad is beautiful, has a beautiful terrace (but it was too cold to spend time there in January, the room was warm, the water hot - all good. Breakfast is usual Morrocan fare, we requested early breakfast as we were going on a trip and we got it.

Cons: We once ordered a taxi via Riad. The taxi was supposed to cost 50-70 according to the man at the reception, the taxi driver demanded twice as much.

The room was spacious and cozy with good AC. Great ambiance, nice terrace. Staff were friendly and accommodating and arranged coffee and breakfast to go for an early morning departure.

Cons: We were a little concerned with safety as the riad is down a few deserted alleys. This would likely not be a big problem but both ourselves and another guest couple could not open the front door with the keys provided making us stay outside knocking til someone opened (and one of the times staff were not available and thankfully guests heard us and let us in). This, at night time, for 2 females felt unsafe.

It would take a book to tell you what I liked about Riad Sabah. Even though hidden, and in an obscure location, it is actually quite central and walking distance to the main attractions. Especially if you enjoy walking. Riad Sabah felt like a home. It felt familiar. The staff were hospitable, and welcoming. Everything was pristine, clean, tidy, colorful, inspiring, and a marvel. The hotel is such a cosy space. With a unique Moroccan style! Open arrival, the staff was super friendly and even gave us tee and some Moroccan treats 🤤.The vue from the terrace is just beautiful and whole decoration of the Riad is just beautiful. Such a cozy environment! Especially with the open top vue on the sky. We could hear the birds singing. The breakfast is just delicious with a variety of Moroccan specialties and homemade yogurt. As for the location, it is just perfect. We were not too far from the main place Jeema el Feena and the main monuments are just 15-20 minutes from the hotel. I highly recommend if you are looking for a great place to stay in Marrakech !

Cons: Everything was perfect!

Overall good stay and good value money.

The hosts were really welcoming and made us felt like home. A really cute little space with well decorated rooms and a lovely roof top terrace to chill and enjoy your breakfast. Good Moroccan breakfast that is freshly prepared. Convenient location, just a 20 min walk to the medina. Would highly recommend staying here than in the crowded medina.

Cons: The room was a bit small. There was also no hair dryer in the room, was too late when I figured and was unable to ask for one. However, they do have it in the office.

Our time at Riad Sabah was amazing! Sabah and Amina made us feel at home as soon as we stepped through the door. The Riad was spotless and had such a lovely vibe. I'd say the best part is the stunning rooftop terrace with its incredible views of the Atlas Mountains away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sabah went above and beyond to make our stay special, not just by being a great host but also by giving us great tips and providing a map of the city. The breakfast was delightful (we decided to have it on the rooftop), and the decoration added such a charming touch to the whole experience. If you're planning a trip to Marrakech, we can't recommend Riad Sabah highly enough! It's the perfect place for an experience you won't forget.

A quiet oasis in the madness of the Medina. Tranquil and calming. Staff were lovely. Bed was very comfy and everything was clean. Breakfast was the best we had out of 4 riads. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful riad which was peaceful and quiet despite its great central location, just a short walk from the medina. The staff made us feel at home, they were very kind and helpful with any questions we had. Sabah kindly talked us through a map of the main attractions to see in Marrakech and gave us some good advice. The whole riad was very clean and comfortable, we had good air conditioning in our room and our sheets were changed every day. We especially enjoyed having an authentic and delicious breakfast every morning on the roof terrace. We felt very safe there which was important to us as a group of three young women, and we felt that the quality of our stay was excellent for the price. Overall, we would definitely recommend this riad to anyone looking for a welcoming, calm and authentic place to stay in the heart of Marrakech.
