The best place we stayed at during our trip. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming, and it was possible to have breakfast prepared outside the regular serving hours, which we really appreciated. The location is perfect — right next to the main square, yet on a quiet street away from the noise. Highly recommended!

What we liked the most was the staff. Soufian, Munir and all the team were always available and willing to help in any matter we needed (SIM card, taxi booking, etc). The location was excellent, very close to Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Breakfast was home made and very complete.
Cons: A bit of more light in the room would be nice, but nothing serious. It wouldn't prevent us to come back ;-)

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux dans ce Riad à Marrakech ! L’emplacement est parfait, calme, à proximité de tout, et le cadre est authentique et très traditionnel. Le Riad est impeccable, d’une propreté irréprochable, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le personnel est aux petits soins et très arrangeant, toujours disponible pour répondre à nos besoins. Un grand plus : la patronne est même venue nous saluer en personne, ce qui montre son attention et son implication. Bref, un véritable bonheur, un endroit où l’on se sent bien et que nous recommandons chaudement à tous ceux qui souhaitent vivre l’expérience marocaine dans un cadre charmant et accueillant !

Hyvä sijainti, ystävällinen henkilökunta, saimme aamiaisen ennen aamiaisaikaa kun lähtö oli aikaisin aamulla. Siisti hyvänkokoinen kaunis huone. Vaikka äänieristys ei ollut kovin hyvä niin silti riad oli todella hiljainen, yöllä ei kuulunut mitään. Suosittelen tätä todella paljon.
Cons: Riad oli vaikea löytää. Mutta Jamaa el fna aukion laidalla on Marrakisch niminen ravintola, siitä kääntyy oikealle sen jäljeen noin 100m tulee oikealle pieni kuja jossa on merkittynä muita riadeja, sen kujan varrella vasemmalla on tumma puinen ovi missä on tämän riadin nimi.

Ottima posizione, a tre minuti a piedi dalla piazza Jemaa el-Fnaa. Lo staff molto gentile e disponibile. Ambiente molto curato e pulito. Consiglio di prenotare il transfer dall'aeroporto, al costo di 20 €, l'autista ti attende all'esterno dell'aeroporto e ti lascia nel punto più vicino possibile della piazza, dove ti attende un responsabile del riad che ti accompagna a destinazione.
Cons: Il bagno della mia camera non aveva il piatto doccia quindi bisogna fare attenzione a non allagare l'ambiente, ma con un minimo di accortezze si risolve il problema.

Riad molto curato ed accogliente. Il suo profumo vi resterà per sempre nella testa. Notevolmente colpiti dall'attenzione di tutto lo staff, menzione particolare per Mounir che ci ha preparato un'ottima cena al nostro arrivo ed è rimasto sempre disponibile a soddisfare qualsiasi nostra richiesta. Per non parlare delle colazioni, abbondantissime, tipiche, sempre preparate al momento e con una qualità davvero elevata. Senza considerare poi la posizione del Riad, centralissimo, vicino alla famosa piazza Jamaa el Fna dalla quale iniziare il proprio tour in questa città che vi graffierà l'anima.

Le personnel a été très prévenant malgré notre arrivée à une heure tardive. Nous avons recu de nombreux conseils pour visiter la médina et une aide très appréciée pour réserver un taxi. La cuisinière est un cordon bleu. N'hésitez pas à déguster sa cuisine marocaine.
Cons: Un détail mineur : une petit plaque à l'entrée de la rue Derb Zaari (ainsi que d'autres établissement l'ont fait) serait un plus pour rejoindre l'entrée du Riad dans cette petite ruelle.

Meravigliose le cene in terrazza dove ci siamo goduti molta tranquillità nonostante la vicinanza al caotico centro. Fabienne, Soufiane e tutto il personale sono stati meravigliosi e ci hanno aiutato a rendere il nostro soggiorno a Marrakech perfetto supportandoci anche nelle prenotazioni a vari servizi. Ci hanno anche aiutato nell'intermediazione con un'agenzia quando abbiamo avuto problemi con un tour prenotato. Consigliatissimo!

In addition to this, what impressed us most was their flexibility and customer-focused approach. Knowing we had an early departure, the staff went above and beyond by preparing a breakfast for us at 6:15 am, well before their standard 8:30 am breakfast time. This kind of personalised service is greatly appreciated. The hotel's location is perfect - right in the centre of the area, making it convenient for exploring and accessing most of the attractions.

They prepare a breakfast pretty early just for us. I booked a driver through the hotel and it wasn’t there at the time we arrived, only later, but this was not hotel fault. We took a taxi and the guys left us close by but gps which didn’t work there took us far away. Riad called me many times to check where we are and I just was able to call them later on, but we didn’t feel in danger anytime and people were really friendly. Riad guy came to rescue where we were, they are very nice people and the experience on a riad was awesome . Food is delicious. Very charming riad and local people arr super friendly

Abbiamo pernottato due notti qui in questo riad a Marrakech e a parte la posizione centralissima al mercato, ciò che mi ha colpito di più è stata la gentilezza del personale della struttura e la disponibilità di Fabianne Il posto è piccolo ma molto accogliente, le camere esattamente come in foto, tutto molto pulito e colazioni semplici ma il loro thè alla menta è spettacolare! Nella seconda giornata ci è stata riordinata la stanza, anche senza che glie lo chiedessimo, e ci ha permesso di fare colazione presto il giorno della partenza. Molto bello!

Il nostro soggiorno presso il Riad L’Evidence si è svolto nei migliore dei modi, paragonabile ad un soggiorno a 5*, la cura e l’attenzione di tutti i collaboratori è stata impeccabile. Gentilezza e scrupolo verso l’ospite erano sempre al primo posto da prima nel nostro arrivo in fase di programmazione fino alla fase del check out! Il servizio colazione nonostante avesse degli orari prestabiliti in due occasioni siamo stati accontentati per riceverla in orari diversi. Veramente soddisfatti! La struttura era pulita e attenta ad ogni dettaglio.
Cons: L’unica pecca del Riad L’Evidence è data dalla poco manutenzione a mio avviso della rubinetteria del bagno e dall assenza di un frigo bar all’interno della camera.

- Great location 120m to the square. - Friendly staff. - Fast response on Booking.com. - Beautiful riad with functional standard room. - Smooth airport shuttle, though at €20 even for 1 pax. - Had to change riad due to piping problems but riad owner handled the issue with excellent service.
Cons: - Standard room at the reception area has little privacy. I felt awkward that others could hear whatever I was doing in the toilet / my room. - AC was not turned on even though they arranged the airport shuttle and knew what time I was arriving - I was sweating badly in the room as the AC took a few hours to cool down the room. - My second booking for a deluxe room had piping problems which resulted in changing riad after my return from the desert but the riad owner took care of the change nicely.

This small, atmospheric riad could not have a better location: you're right next to Jemaa el Fna square, as well as to various good restaurants. It is super quiet though, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The airport transfer is convenient and the staff incredibly helpful, friendly and very quick to respond. A special mention and big thank you goes out to Soufiane, who went out of his way to accommodate us in every way possible. We were able to leave our big luggage at the riad for a couple of days while visiting Essaouira and we even got breakfast at 5.30 upon flying home. We booked an extra night here. And if we ever return to Marrakesh we'll definitely stay here again, no doubt about it!

We had a wonderful stay at this riad! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed in the lobby with traditional mint tea, which was a lovely touch after our journey. The staff was extremely kind and attentive throughout our stay, always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire space was well maintained. The location is excellent – right in the heart of the medina, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and pleasant experience in Marrakech!

Very central location, perfect to visit all the attractions in Marrakech. The room was also very nice, as well as the bathroom and the breakfast. The interior of the Riad was very nice and relaxing. The terrace was a great spot with a great view.
Cons: The location is good but really difficult to find (even our driver had problems finding it) as it shows two completely different locations with the same address. On the last day we were on a tight schedule and wanted to leave our bags, but there was nobody at the front desk. We waited for 30 minutes and had to go look for the cleaning lady to at least leave the key. Since we weren't sure we would be able to find someone to get our luggage back when we needed, we decided to carry them with us for the rest of the day unfortunately.

Nestled in a side street off the Medina the unassuming entrance opens to an authentic space with the most beautiful smell to welcome you. Spotlessly clean and comfortable providing everything you need. The staff were so friendly and welcoming I couldn’t have asked for more.
Cons: The only minor inconvenience was not the fault of the premises but fellow occupants whose audio email alerts could be heard throughout.

Beautiful setting right in the centre of the medina! The property is clean and well presented. The staff are exceptional, they go above and beyond. Every night they ask what time you would like breakfast and then prepare a fresh breakfast at the time requested. They even gave me plug adaptors when mine stopped working. Could not recommend enough.
Cons: I loved everything but if I had to say something it would be that everything can be heard within the room and throughout the Riad but this is to be expected within every stay like this!

The staff was so nice! The Riad is just around the corner of the very centre of all but inside it's so peaceful that you can barely hear a thing! We were very surprised as we were expecting to hear the noise of the city. Has a little rooftop that has pretty views!

We were able to check in after midnight after some long, unexpected travel delays. The riad was very accommodating, had great communication and friendly staff. A large breakfast was provided to us in the late morning, even though we slept in past 10:30am. Perfect location and good value for money. Thanks for having us :)

Cons: Only downside was poor wifi in our room (terrace level) which was only a problem because I needed to work. I don't hold it against the riad because it is what it is!

Special mention to the staff: Fabienne, Soufiane, Imad and Hassan, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable from the moment we stepped out of the taxi, to the moment we left (they even hired a tuktuk and accompanied us to take us and our luggage to the meeting place for taxis (which aren't allowed in the square after morning). The also resolved a minor problem with the electricity supply (going off) in our room in under an hour. Breakfast was always prepared fresh: pancakes, bread, preserves and honey, fruit and tea/coffee. The room is beautiful, the duvet was lovely and the bed comfortable: cleaned every day by two wonderful ladies. The roof terrace with sunny and shaded areas is a great relaxing space to get away from the hustle and bustle of the square, and to listen to birdsong, distant music from the square, and call to prayer. The location is a two minute walk from the edge of Jemma El Fna square - but just as good - 30 seconds in the other direction takes you to the Street of Artisans, which has the very best food and more unique gift stores.
Cons: Other guests did not respect the 'quiet in the evenings' request, and thought taking conference calls at midnight outside our room (with no headset) was acceptable. But this is not the fault of the riad!

If you want to stay in the Medina, which you should unless you have pragmatic needs that prevent it, then this is a really good place. Location just off the square is quiet but close to the action. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace is bread-heavy but sets you up well for the day. They even made it at 3 am for our early departure. Romantic ambience and stylish fit out. Friendly host. Comfortable bed and amenities. Good wifi. Good value. Probably won’t go back to Marrakechbut if I did would happily stay here again.
Cons: Transfers are expensive and require a long walk across the square, though you will be helped with luggage. Like most riads, it’s not as private as a hotel room and you will get a bit of ambient voice and sound from the main area. They charged us for bottled water after the first night which is reasonable I suppose but I think at this price point you can just make that free and add a couple of bucks to the room charge because you get hassled enough in the souks and anyway they advertise an eco approach and it would be good to be able to fill your own water bottle somewhere.

A great Riad very comfortable beds and large rooms. Clean and beautifully decorated. The staff are absolutely amazing very helpful and caring. The ideal location to explore Marrakech. Situated in a quiet street but at the same time only a minutes walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa around the corner. Restaurants and Hamams only a few feet away. Perfect location and the breakfast is excellent.

This Riad is a fantastic find. It is small (just 5 rooms) and extremely personable. Note that 3 of the rooms are somewhat larger than the other 2, with a loungeroom space between the bed and bathroom. Try to get one of these. The staff are delighful, the location outstanding just off the main square but absolutely quiet at night, and the bed was the best/most confortable I have had in 4 months of travel. Breakfast was excellent (either on the roof terrace or, given the extreme temperatures when I was in Marrakesh, downstairs in the charming inner courtyard). A wonderfully eficient and charming housemaid did a small load of my laundry for me. I know the Riad market is increasingly crowded, and there are probably more "over the top" places around at a price. But for value for money, and for a homely and quite charming stay, this Riad takes the prize.

This is an exceptional Riad located just minutes off the main square. It is beautifully decorated throughout, including the rooftop terrace. The room is opulent with fabulous details and an amazing bathroom. The Riad, while situated in the middle of chaos, is so calm and peaceful. Breakfast was wonderful with pancakes, mesaaman, freshly squeezed juice, lovely coffee, an amazing chocolate coissant, and was even offered an omelette. By far, the best breakfast offering throughout by week stay in Morrocco. The Riad stored my luggage while I went exploring. Close to lovely bars and restaurants.
Cons: At around 8.40 p.m., the night before, I was advised there was a problem with the booking that could not be fixed. This was rather stressful but was later satisfactorily resolved. As with a lot of accommodation, there was a smell from the bathroom, which is not unique to this property, with essential oils masking the smell. The oils may not be suitable for all guests.

Great location, a couple of minutes walk from the chaos of Jemaa el-Fnaa square but peaceful inside the Riad with little or no noise penetration. Most of all lovely staff who were mainly French speaking, but with our "franglais"was not a problem. Informal Riad where we were made to feel at home. Terrace was nice too. No TV which we considered a bonus. Beds good. Hot water for showers. Didn't need the air-con during our stay in early April. Unusual as the bill for extras was not recorded and guest honesty was expected Slightly disorganised management, but it added to its's charm. No hesitation in recommending for a short stay.
Cons: No choice for breakfast, which was the same each morning - fruiy juice, fruit, pancakes, bread & conservatives, coffee or tea. Could do with a table in the room and a bit cramped around the bed, but we think that's usual. Dim lighting. Taxi to the airport arranged by the hotel is pricy at €20.

The owner creates a wonderfully peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The traditional riad is immaculately and tastefully restored. My bedroom was large and comfortable with lovely shower room and access to the roof terrace. The breakfast was of good quality with handmade Moroccan biscuits and good coffee/tea.

I liked the location and the quietness despite being right in the centre. We only stayed 1 1/2 days so the location was very important to us. Also a very well working air conditioning which is essentiell in summer in Marrakesh.
Cons: That you had to walk quite a bit if u want to get to or from the Riad after 1pm due to the market having restricted vehicle access then. If you have physical problems with walking this could be a challenge.

A beautifully decorated Riad on a side street in the heart of busy Marrakech. We caught bus N⁰19 from the airport for approx £3 each. From the stop at Place Jamaà El Fna it would be a 5 minute walk to the riad but even with the help of Google maps we did get a little lost, we found the narrow street on our 2nd pass by. Once inside peace, tranquility and a gorgeous fragrance calms your senses and a hot mint tea refreshes. There are 5 rooms on 3 seperate floors leading up to a lovely roof terrace which has a small bar where wine and bottled beer are available to buy. Breakfast is lovely and filling with excellent coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff are extremely attentive and even provided us with a breakfast at 6.30am when we due to leave for the airport. Our last evening was spent on the roof terrace listening to some live acoustic music provided by friends of Fabienne, the owner...delightful!

Cons: It was a bit of hike to get to the location so if you have a lot of bags you need to get someone with a cart to help get your belongings there. But once there you are right in the middle of everything.

Great location in central of Medina. Near all attractions and Market. The staffs I met, Madam Faltima, Mr Abdel was so kindly and helpfully. Room was nice, tidy, clean and had well decorated. Breakfast was well prepared.

The location was perfect, it was 2 minutes away from the Jemaa el fnaa square but not noisy at all! The staffs were friendly and very helpful, particularly Abdel. He was so helpful with our requests and was always there. The Riadh was clean and it smells amazing!! Great terrace to have breakfast or watch the sunset whilst enjoying mint tea.

Location was great, very close to the main square and some excellent restaurants. Pretty lobby area and the staff was very friendly. Nice breakfast up on the terrace with the usual Moroccan breakfast and more (almost seemed like a chocolate lava cake one morning - mmmmm!).
Cons: The phone number on the booking is a French one so our driver could not call it for some reason. Room was right on the lobby so it was noisy with the fountain and people at reception - did not feel private at all. Housekeeping threw out our water bottles that we were refilling and using and am not fond of housekeeping rearranging my toiletries. WiFi was terrible, even though we were near the lobby. Morning tea in teapot that only had a napkin for protection so burned my finger a bit trying to pour. Months ahead we communicated with the riad to provide transport to airport and all seemed arranged - until we arrived and had to tell reception again. At the time to leave, the new person at reception saw that we requested, but nothing was arranged and he tried calling several places. Finally he went with us to find taxi on square - GREAT part of this is to make it right, he (riad) paid for the trip to airport.

the place is small but super well decorated and clean! really good location, 3min walk from the Square Jaame ElFna (where the transfer can stop to drop/pick you). we were well received by Fatma, that was really kind and gave us all the information necessary! also the guy that stays in the reception during the night was kind and prepared a take-away breakfast for us, cause we had to leave at 4am to the airport. the bedroom (matrimonial superior) was amazingly beautiful, enough space to circulate and manipulate luggages. good bed and bedsheets, everything was well cleaned and smelling good! you can see they pay a lot of attention to the details, what I loved!
Cons: unhappily our bedroom was exactly in the entrance hall, so even with closed doors and windows, was quite noisy. we had to leave at 4am to the airport but we slept just a couple hours, cause other guests stayed outside talking and eating over midnight (and after they left, the noise was of the cleanings cause they probably left a mess behind). also the smells of the meals cooked in the kitchen come inside the bedroom.

The Riad is situated 100yards or so from the Jemaa El Fna square in the heart of Marrakech so an excellent central location. Warmest of welcomes from Fatima and the staff we all very accommodating and the room, although not the biggest, was comfy, clean and cosy and we loved the roof terrace. The breakfast was lovely and tasty and set us up for the day.
Cons: Better signage would be helpful. We found the street but the little sign on the door was faded and so a sign at the end of the street would be useful. There are so many helpful people around though so they will guide you!

The riad is in a great location just around the corner from the main square and souks but quiet. The room was very comfortable and our one main meal on arrival was very good. The staff are incredibly pleasant and helpful and Fabienne put herself out to help us navigate the complexities of the national railway's web-based booking system to arrange train tickets for Fes. I'd highly recommend this riad.

The Riad is lovely & well run. Staff are friendly room was spacious & had reverse aircon so could be used for heating (but we didn’t need it) Breakfast was good and the location is excellent, right in the heart of everything but safe. Lots of restaurants close by. The only problem with any Riad is noise, their design means that they are hollow & sound carries…The other guest dont seem to realise this and we’re making a racket until 1am. We asked them to organise a transfer from the airport which was arranged for €20…. Due to the market being on in the evening they have to drop you a 5min walk away….they sent someone to carry our bags & show us where to go… We carried our own luggage so only gave him a small tip…. He complained that he wanted more (same price as carrying the bags) but we refused & the receptionist sent him away. The location of the Riad is correct on google maps, it is just a door on a side street (see photo)but it is right. My advice is to get a sim for your phone at the airport, roaming charges are expensive. On the return to airport we also had a transfer… however this was with 2 other people but it still cost us €20 so essentially the trip back was €40 as the other couple paid the same!! I would still recommend staying

Quiet and lovely Riad. Perfect location, close to Jemaa Square but without the noise from the Zoco, making it ideal for a break from the busy streets around the Zoco. Excellent staff, very kind and pleasant.

Beautiful riad, the roof terrace had a nice vibe. Very close to main square, but not noisy. Staff was really nice. Fatima is ready to help whenever asked and gave some tips for a nice Hammam. Breakfast quite good. Fresh juice 😊.

I reached the hotel at 2am. The riad is near the square so it is within a walking distance to everything. It is very safe and bustling day and night. The riad kindly kept my bags until I returned. Breakfast was hotly made and tasty. Everything was perfect. Beautiful and clean and the room is magical.

Cons: 1. the owner does not respond to my emails. after I booked the room online, she sent me an email offering airport pick up and supper. I replied “yes” to both airport pick and supper. however she never emailed me back to confirm. I emailed her again did not got any response. several days before my departure day, I asked booking.com to email her to confirm the airport pick and supper, never got any response. so two days before my departure I had to book an airport pick with booking.com. then one day before my departure she sent me an email asking me wether I still want the airport pick. I asked her why she never respond to my emails, she said she receives too many emails everyday and she only response to the emails that are close to the check in date, which is the day before. 2. the breakfast time is from 8 to 10am. first day I was there at 10 for breakfast, the guy did not serve me the egg, because it is too late for him to cook the egg. the next day I went to breakfast at 9:45, I still did not get the egg because it is too late for him to cook the egg, I also did not get the juice and fruit cup. I had to complain to the owner to get my egg for breakfast 3. on the day we check out, I asked the owner to book me an airport taxi, she wants 20 euro for the taxi to airport. however in her earlier email she offered airport pick for 15 euro, and the airport pickup I booked with booking.com is about 15 euro. after I mentioned these, she backed down her price to $15

the staff were THE sweetest. we only stayed one night, but wished we stayed more. we had dinner at the Riad and can definitely recommend it to others. lots of attention to detail around service. we could tell that the Riad was decorated with care and love.

They did warm welcoming with Moroccan sweets and tea ( I came after the dessert tour and was so thirsty without appetite…I didn’t need any sweets but I enjoyed it later). Room was so comfortable.
Cons: Too many French and you may feel outsiders even it’s in Morocco…

Great location just off Djemaa El Fna square close to all the action but in very calm location. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast served on the roof terrace if you ask in advance. Air con in bedroom was essential and worked well
Cons: The bedroom is quite small and the steps up to the bed are a bit of a hazzard if you have reduced mobility or are a large person. It was also a dark room but that was a benefit from the seering heat of the streets outside.

Huge thank you to Fabienne and her wonderful team at Riad L’evidence. The location of the Riad is outstanding, it’s just down the road from the main market and souk. It was our first time staying in Morocco and the trip was a huge success with the help of Fabienne. When we first arrived at 11pm Fabienne greeted us and even went above and beyond our expectations by showing us around the market square for currency exchange, recommended restaurants, and banks. In addition to this, she helped us plan day trips, and booked our transport to Agadir for us. We really did feel welcomed and at home and would recommend to anyone staying in Marrakesh.

The riad is near the square but not inside of the medina so it’s easier to find the location. The staff there are nice and ready to help. Mohammed cooked breakfast very early in the morning.
