The location is DEEP medina, which is very noisy and crowded but the room on the third floor was very quiet. The room and bathroom were clean but appeared dirty due to old discolored caulking. If you want to really experience the medina from the inside with no sugar coating, this is the place for you. The price was a fraction of everywhere else we looked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The terrace/balcony is nice but the view is not. We did not realize until the last day that we had access to a frig and modest kitchen on the terrace. It took a day or two for us to acclimate but in the end we really enjoyed it. I would do it again but be prepared for the true-to-medina rawness of the place.

Cons: At first I was shocked at how run down the place is. Terrace House is a 5 minute walk from where we were told to check in which was a little disoriented. The bathroom is the shower. There is a drain on the floor that drains very slowly so there is standing water during a shower. I hope it doesn't leak into the room below. The water was warm, not hot. Water pressure is low. The room is tiny with very little ventilation, like I imagine most places in the medina. In fact the place is an exact reflection of the rest of the medina. Not for schoolmarm sensitivities.

Location is good as its along Derb Dabachi, probably busiest astreet in Marrakech Medina. Staff is friendly as well.

Cons: The room needs a lot of improvement. No hangers or anywhere to hang your jacket or clothes. Pillows and bed are very uncomfortable, the pillow is like its been used a long time and very flat, no comfort at all. The bed is very soft like lying down on water, and springy as well. I dont think the beddings and towels are being changed regularly as I saw the woman who cleaned the room was not carrying any new towels or beddings, just prepare the bed with the same beddings and same towels. I had developed a very itchy rash after using the dirty blanket and sheets ( probably scabies mites are present in the sheets or bed). Breakfast however, is very nice. Freshly prepared scrambled egg and fresh bread. Other than that, everything needs improvement.

The view from the roof was nice

Cons: The room is in a way worse location than shown on the booking site, i will contact the booking Personel because of this SCAM. We slept directly at the very bussy, loud and poluted main road to the Medina from the big Place de Jamal. We liked the surounding area the least from all of Marrakeschs Medina. We could'nt sleep at night, hundreds of loud screaming people and motorcycles were Just in Front of our window the whole night. The Air in the room was Always stiff, we could not Open the window because the Air from the Main Road stinks of exhaust from all the motorcycles. The room was dirty and the mattress was hard as wood. The weirdest thing was the window to our room from the shared corridor INSIDE. So everyone could Look trough the window at all Times and there were No courtains. Also you CAN NOT lock the door. The owner tried to scam us by telling us upfront using the washing maschine once would cost 50 Dirham, the nice cleaning Personel told us then it was 30 Dirham. The breakfast was bad but at least included. We stayed three nights and the WiFi only worked on the Last day, the co-owner told us it's because "It is the end of the month", so dont expect an Internet Connection If you dont have mobile Data. Dont book it

Great location in the main part of the city. Was clean and dark which helps with sleeping.

Cons: Bed was super uncomfortable and needs replacing immediately. Very springy. Also the lady who did breakfast was not there on the second day so had to go out elsewhere for breakfast which was a bit annoying. Also, the bathroom which is described as "private" is actually across the hallway that other guest walk through to get to breakfast / roof terrace. Really not great for needing a midnight toilet break as well as showering in the morning. Finally, the shower was really bad pressure, not sure if this is a Marrakech thing but it was super difficult to shower due to this it, it got warm eventually but in January you could do with a proper hot higher pressure shower.

The lady Fouzia who was making us breakfast was nice and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. You could go upstairs on the terrace and enjoy some sun in the center of the city.

Cons: The shower hose was broken and there was no water pressure, so taking a shower was very difficult. The owner was informed about this issue and did nothing. There was a window in our room leading to the common area, so everyone could look into our room. The second window was leading to the busy street and it was very loud every night, because the window wasn't sound-proof at all.

Close to Medina if that's what you're after. Breakfast was relatively good by local standards and the chef was kind.

Cons: Don't book the Sahara tour here or anywhere else for that matter, huge disappointment. Checking in is a hassle having to go to a different location first to get the keys to the place you sleep. No hot water, broken fan, terrible pressure for showering, not enough toilet roll at times. The automatic lighting in the stairwell is dangerous when it decides not to turn on.

Very cute, little, traditional and simple house in the middle of Medina, authentic experience. The staff was exceptionally helpful, kind and caring, was there for me if I needed anything. He arranged taxi and an early breakfast. This is a budget place and it's of a decent value if you don't want to stay in the hostel. Overall I really liked it and for a short budget stay would take it over a hostel.

Cons: The window opened into the Medina street and therefore it was quite noisy until about midnight, then after it was quiet. The bathroom is shared with another room, but it is clean and functional, and the shower was great. I was the only one there so it was no issue.

I would not recommend it. We only stayed one night and it's good that it's the only option. We booked after reading a lot of good reviews, but I don't really know who is comfortable staying here... students and locals maybe? First of all, the picture is one thing, but in reality everything is different - there is little space, it is cramped. The hostel is located on a very busy shopping street, there are no signs. This is not a problem, because the night before the host contacts you, you come to another hotel-riad and are taken to this place. Second, it is very dirty. Thirdly, it is really noisy, up to 2-3 hours at night, then the mopeds start driving from five-thirty in the morning ... I've tried sleeping with earplugs..but generally it hasn't worked very well. And fourthly, it might not be an inconvenience for everyone, but you share the bathroom and toilet with another room, it's OK. But the only sink for washing is in the communal area/room - everything is visible, everything is audible, and there is also a camera there, so the people in the camera can see you washing, shaving, etc. In general I wouldn't recommend this place, for the same money you can find at least a cleaner hostel.

Cons: We made the booking at 3pm , received a confirmation from booking.com and told the hostel we would arrive around 1am. We didn’t get a message from the hostel but decided to directly go to the address as marked on booking. WALKED AROUND FOR 2 hours at 1am in the Medina, with people telling us they were going to show us the way and then told us to pay them to bring us nowhere!! All of this time we tried to call the phone number without success, with heavy backpacks and nowhere to go it was almost 3am when the manager picked up and told us he was sleeping. He forgot to sent us the confirmation email explaining that we had to meet somewhere else. He sent it to us at 8am. I had to wake up around 6 so had 3 hours to sleep. The place looked fine and location too, but I wouldn’t come back or recommend because of bad organization!

Brilliant location, off the centre square in the middle of Marrakesh. On one of the small side streets, a two minute walk from the centre. Spacious bedrooms, toilet and shower, with two terraces that provide views of Marrakech. Staff are lovely, very welcoming and happy to talk about their culture and will recommend places to visit in Marrakesh, as well as places to eat.

Cons: The stairs are a little steep and seem slightly different heights, so take care going up and down. Is a little noisy at night, but that is expected with the location of the property.

First of all I have to mention that I travelled with a friend of mine (2 girls), so for us safety was the first priority. This apartment is extremely close to everything what you would like to visit as a first time in Marrakech. We are also students, so we liked that it was cheap. Although we had to share the bathroom, it was never dirty. The stuff was really helpful and kind with us! Helped us with everything Also the breakfast is good and cheap The terrace is breathtaking

Cons: As we are students, we did not care much, but it was noisy. In the way that you could hear everything from outside, so I would not suggest if you have sleeping problem We went in November, so I do not know how it is summertime with the heat.

Cons: Not very easy to find. I recommend getting in touch with the man in charge beforehand.

The location didn't exactly match what was on Google maps, so not sure if they placed us in another place not far away that is owned by the same people. We arranged a transfer with them, 150 MAD which is over double the price for a taxi from the airport but we think we would have trouble finding the place ourselves. Breakfast was good and grateful for the fan in the room also.

Cons: Location is very close to Jemaa el-Fnaa square, but it's on a very busy street. So lots of noise late into the night and very early in the morning from people and mopeds going down the street. Not sure if the rooms on the location on google maps would have been quieter or not. Very hot away from the fan in the room.

We stayed here for one night because we needed to catch our flight the next morning. It was an easy place to stay, everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Perfect for one night for us.

Cons: if you are a light sleeper like me then I would recommend bringing earplugs it is quite noisy outside because you are sleeping in the middle of the medina.

The room that we were given was cosy and had enough space for 2 people. The staff was very helpful and wholehearted. I would totally repeat the experience if I could. Thumbs up for Sam and Abdel!

Cons: Being close to Marrakech's main square made the experience a bit noisy, but that wasn't a severe problem at all.

Cons: was hard to find. room was small for 3 adults. shared bathroom and shower with one other room which in the end was just fine.

Location - in the medina, a short walk from Jeema El Fena. Staff - Easan is great, welcoming and helpful with excursions and tips :)

Cons: The room was cold at night. Also, the private toilet and shower was outside of the room (more like an "attached/near" toilet and shower, not private in the room).

The position is very close tho Jamaa el Fna Square. The host is very helpful, she give us many information and she help us to arrange the visit.

Cons: Be carefull: The house is in the heart of the Medina, so it is very noisy. If you want a silent place, It isn't for you.

The manager is very kind and helpful. The location is next to the best snack restaurant (tata) of the city. The decoration of the room is very pretty

Cons: 1. the address written on booking is not correct. you have to contact the manager so she can pick you up and take you to the real location. 2. wifi is supposed to work but it doesn’t. 3. toilet paper is not included in the price 4. 3 out of the 4 shower we took the water was cold, reminding you that you’re alive. 5. Breakfast. Come ooon, you can do better!! 6. Privacy alert, in the room there is a small window that faces the common space and there is no curtains 🔞

An exceptional host. Easam went above and beyond to assure a pleasant stay. The room was clean and the bathroom as well. Even when I accidentally took the room key with me, her fast thinking made sure everything was ready in time for the next guest. Terrace house 88 is at a great location, only a 3 minutes walk from the market square where everything happens. Which I loved. Mind you, I booked 2 hostels and 3 hotels for 5 nights in Marrakech, because I did not know what to expect and wanted to compare my accommodations for next time. Terrace House 88 was one that pleasantly surprised me.

Cons: I just booked the room for 1 night. Rest assured, next time in Marrakech will be at Terrace House 88.

The Terrace House is a really beautiful and clean homestay. There is a great view from the rooftop where you can sit, cook and just chill out. The owner is always carrying and very friendly. She also gave us great insider tipps and knows where to go. She also organise some tours and trips. We felt very well at this place and would come back at any time! 🌞

I were amazed to find this lovely place right in the heart of the Medina. It is just beautiful. And so quiet. Everything was close by so it was convenient as well. But most importantly - Easam the host and the rest of the staff were friendly, kind, welcoming and exceedingly helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. I Would recommend this place to anyone and will certainly stay here again

Cons: Nothing
