The location was very good; we were welcomed by the staff with traditional mint tea. The riad is also very beautiful and very close to the main tourist attractions.
Cons: The toilet paper was missing, but we also forgot to inform the staff. Itās possible it was simply an oversight. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

Excellent stay at Riad Al Tainam! We had a wonderful experience at Riad Al Tainam in Marrakech. The manager Adil was extremely professional and helpful, and the staff were always kind, attentive, and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The riad is very peaceful and relaxing, yet conveniently located close to the city center. The 24-hour reception made our stay even more comfortable and stress-free. Everything was truly amazing ā highly recommended!

I appreciated that they communicated in advance and offered a paid service for train station pickup. Property was nicely furnished. Small rooms but aesthetically pleasing in the Moroccan architectural style of the Marrakesh Riads. Indoor pool is a nice touch but no instructions from the host on whether that could be used to relax or not so we didnāt use it. Breakfast on the comfy sofas was a lovely touch and the lady who handles the welcome and service for the breakfast is truly a gem! She was my favorite. Area is quite close to the Jema El Fnaa square so walking to shop or grab a bite to eat was easy and safe! There is also a night porter who lets you in when you ring the door bell if you come back a bit later.
Cons: I think the hospitality from the main host or manager could have been better. It came off a bit cold. Upon arrival, it was straight to forms and house rules with no assistance offered to help take our bags up the narrow stairs. No check ins daily to inform us when we could have our room cleaned. When I asked for extra toilet tissue on the first day, he had to make a comment that they donāt usually give extra and itās only one per room before he accommodated me. Decent guy just kind of cold; perhaps it was a language barrier that caused the disconnect but being in this industry myself I would have expected more warmth and courtesy check ins. The lady at breakfast was very warm though!

The riad is well located in a quieter part and close to the main highlights. The staff is very friendly and it is quiet.
Cons: It was very cold in the riad and room. Also the space outside the room was not so comfortable since it is so cold. The beds are very hard, especially the extra bed in the room for 3 persons was very hard plus very small. So not recommendable for people with a sensitive back.

Der ganze Aufenthalt hat auf jeden Fall unsere Ćberwartungen Ć¼bertroffen. Von der Abholungen vom Flughafen Ć¼ber das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal bis hin zu einem super schƶnen und gemĆ¼tlichen Zimmer, war alles perfekt. Auch das FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck war frisch zubereitet und sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt.
Cons: Ich habe nichts anzumerken, was verbessert werden kƶnnte. Die zwei NƤchte, die wir im Riad Al Tainam verbracht haben waren wunderbar.

Para descansar es genial porque es sĆŗper silencioso. Los desayunos son muy completos y los tres dĆas nos pusieron un destino diferente al del dĆa anterior. Las mujeres que se encargan de la cocina y la limpieza son hĆper amables y muy educadas. Siempre con una sonrisa. El gerente nos permitiĆ³ dejar allĆ las maletas antes de hacer la entrada ya que llegamos muy pronto. Y tb dejarlas allĆ hasta que cogimos el vuelo ya que salĆamos de noche. Nos dieron todas las facilidades del mundo. Cuando vuelva a Marrakech, si estĆ” disponible, me alojarĆ© allĆ de nuevo, sin duda. Ah! No te olvides de tomar el tĆ© en la terraza tomando un poquito de sol. La localizaciĆ³n es perfecta !!! EstĆ”s muy cerca de la Plaza y el paseo hasta la plaza es sĆŗper ameno porque ves comercios locales , la vida de la ciudad etc. es salir del Riad y seguir una calle recta. No tiene pĆ©rdida.

Cons: Je n ai pas apprĆ©ciĆ© ce systĆØme de sonnette qui sonnait toute la nuit dans toute la Riad,lorsqu un client voulait rentrer,sans compter ceux qui rentrait et qui parlait super fort et faisait du bruit.Une odeur d urine de chat qui me retournait le ventre et le bruit des motos toute la nuit, la Ria n est pas trĆ©s loin de rues trĆ©s animĆ©es c est vrai que cela peut ĆŖtre un point fort pour certain endroit mais pour moi ce n etait pas agrĆ©able dutout pourtant je ne suis pas quelqu un de trĆ©s compliquĆ©.

Mooie en comfortabele Riad heel dicht bij het centrum. De riad is gelegen in een veilige buurt en makkelijk te bereiken (ook met de taxi). We regelde via de riad een taxi van en naar de luchthaven en dit verliep zeer vlot, ze waren telkens ruim optijd. We aten dagelijks het ontbijt en dit was zeer lekker, prijs kwaliteit zeer goed en je kreeg telkens andere dingen. Het personeel was steeds super vriendelijk! De kamer was proper en werd dagelijks gepoetst. We hadden en eigen badkamer, airco en een raam. We verbleven 6nachten en het was zeer aangenaam, de riad was dicht bij alle belangrijke plekken in Marrakesh en toch in een rustige buurt. Wel voelden ons geen moment onveilig.
Cons: Het bed was aan de harde kant, maar het viel wel goed mee. Door het principe van de riad hoor je vrij veel lawaai in de gang als je in de kamer bent, gelukkig waren de andere toeristen vrij stil. Verder is het zwembad eerder een voetenbad waardoor we er dus ook niet zijn in geweest.

Le rdc est un patio arborĆ© er frais autour d'une petite piscine oĆ¹ il fait bon tremper les jambes au retour des souks! La dĆ©coration est traditionnelle , simple , et trĆØs jolie: on est tout de suite basculĆ© dans une belle ambiance sereine . Les chambres sont grandes avec placard et clim. Rien Ć dire cĆ“tĆ© propretĆ© . Enfin , le veilleur de nuit et les deux femmes de service sont trĆØs gentils et aidants.Petit dĆ©jeuner copieux avec oranges pressĆ©es , crĆŖpes , et diffĆ©rent chaque jour.Le responsable du riad s'est dĆ©ridĆ© au fil de notre sĆ©jour et a finalement Ć©tĆ© trĆØs gentil.
Cons: Un petit peu d'eau chaude pour prendre la douche serait un plus ... Le lit est un peu dur. L'encaissement des frais annexes demandƩ "sans dƩlai".

Cons: Je vous fais part de ma dĆ©ception concernant l'Ć©tablissement Riad Al Tainam. Effectivement, depuis notre arrivĆ©e le personnel d'accueil s'adresse Ć nous uniquement pour nous rĆ©clamer la taxe de sĆ©jour (qui se rĆØgle Ć la fin du sĆ©jour), c'est 2 fois par jour. Nous sommes harcelĆ© comme si nous Ć©tions des voleuses..! De plus, on nous interdit de profiter des Ć©quipements de l'Ć©tablissement : piscine : on ne peut pas y aller car il est tard et qu'on va faire du bruit. La terrasse du toit est fermĆ©e sans raison. Il faut toujours aller demander Ć la personne de l'accueil. En finalitĆ© on ne se sent pas libre de nos faits et gestes alors que nous payons pour un service. Nous souhaitons vous faire part de notre mĆ©contentement face Ć ces situations qui ne devraient pas avoir lieu et Ć©viter que celĆ ce reproduise. Cons: The guy on night shift wasn't professional at all, always made as feel uncomfortable with silly questions like: are you coming back today? Where are you going? What time are you coming? He was very inquisitive. Also he told us "you cannot eat in the room or have henna done because you will make the room dirty and the cleaner gets upset and you'll be fined". Excuse me? We felt more being in a cell rather than an hotel. We never felt welcomed. I would also recommend he uses some deodorant because his body smell was very pungent all the time.

The riad is nice overall, the staff is nice; even though the manager is not the most welcoming person, he was happy to help us with our enquiries. Room was clean and breakfast was nice and fulfilling. We loved to hang out on the roof and had a dip in the pool which is also nice and well maintained. There is someone at the reception 24/7 which i think is great. If you are interested in the local's life, the streets nearby has markets for locals so you can see the non-touristy side of the medina too.
Cons: The riad would need a little renovation in the common areas as it is in worse condition then the picture shows. It is not dramatic but still. Their written communication was only fast when they needed some infos, if we asked for advise (eg. where to park our car) they haven't replied. Also, the link in booking.com point to a different address, so copy paste the address they send you in advance, or would be nice is the staff would update the google map pin in booking. We didn't really like the location but it is just a personal oppinion. I wouldn't say unsafe at all, but we stayed in calmer and lesser shady areas in the medina before, and i didn't like the people around who are pushy and tricky, but i guess you can find them most places, we were probably lucky with the locations before.

The hotel is elegant and authentic, about 10 minutes walk to Jamaa El Fna square. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly, they helped us with transportation to and from the airport, printing our boarding passes and allowed us to leave our luggage until departure time to the airport. The terrace is wonderful. If we return to Marrakesh it will still be our first accommodation option.

Cons: While the staff was very friendly and helpfull even though they didnt speak English. The owner (who did speak English) was not a very likeable person. For Example: -We werent allowed to leave our luggage at the accomodation for a couple of hours after check-out so that we could spend a few more hours in the city center (hamam) before our pickup at 15:00 -We were charged 230 dirham for the 20 euro tourist tax which normally converts to 200 dirham (everywhere 1:10 ratio) -Overcharging for basic excursions. For example buggy riding in the desert. We were quoted 1500 dirham by him while elsewhere it is 700-1000 dirham depending on the engine size of the buggy (cc)

Location was great in the Medina and only a 10 mins walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa square. I was travelling my myself and felt safe walking around during the day. The staff at the hotel also gave me some tips on how to stay safe when I was out which put my mind at ease. Breakfast was also good and changed every day and I really enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop in the sunshine.
Cons: The nature of the atrium style of the Riad means that it can be a little noisy when the doorbell rings and at breakfast time. If you're a light sleeper like me then I recommend that you bring some earplugs.

A beautiful raid in a great location. Everything about our stay was amazing, the raid is in a great location just a short walk from so many of the sights. Everyday we were provided with freshly cooked traditional breakfast, each day was different. The staff were amazing and so helpful. We even booked a night stay in the desert through our raid. Rooms were also cleaned everyday. Would recommended and will hopefully will return soon.
Cons: Only downside was that the water pressure in the shower wasnāt amazing, but this did not distract from our amazing stay.

The riad is located near Dibachi street, which is one of the main shopping streets in Marrakech. It offers a quiet rooftop and is very small with only five rooms. This makes it very cosy. Staff was kind enough to let me store my luggage.
Cons: Breakfast is nothing like pictures on Booking.com. Itās very poor and only consists of microwaved Moroccan pancake/bread, stale bread and jam. Coffee was cold one out of two days. The shower didnāt drain properly, which caused a lot of water to build up.

The room gets cleaned every day and we were given new towels, tissues and soaps. We stayed there for 5 days and we get a different berber breakfast everyday. Staff are very polite and accommodating. Location is perfect, few minutes away from the medina.

Cons: Weird and cold behaviour of the staff upon arrival and afterwards, whether I spoke in English or French. The shower was either dirty or moldy. Equally so, all the decorative pillows had stains once you flipped them to the other side. On our second day, the towels were changed for new ones but the shower gel wasn't filled up, they simply watered it down. After we checked in and went out to see the city, we came back to find our already unpacked stuff completely moved to another room because supposedly, one of the staff took us to the wrong room (she barely said a word other than bonjour during that entire exchange). We had a key to our room but not to the main door, which meant we once had to ring the doorbell for 15 minutes before someone finally reacted to our loud knocking.

Cons: 1. The manager was not very polite and quite controlling. Not feeling welcomed when arrived. 2. The bathroom in the room has no window, and it STINKS! Absolutely disgusting smell throughout the stay. Let alone the nasty condition of the bathroom. Visibly mouldy. 3. Its location is not the best / safest. More importantly, we waited 5minutes out on the doggy street before someone opened the door for usā¦! We also heard people aggressively knocking for a continuous 20minutes the second day. We donāt know if that was residents couldnāt get in or just people trying to break in. It was not very nice to experience and we texted the hotel on booking.com, they never replied. 4. As many comments mentioned, breakfast was very mid and everything was microwavedā¦. 5. Pool looks much smaller and you wouldnāt even wanna go in. Terrace has no view at all.

Cons: We tried to reach the hotel for several days because we had a question. No answer. We were asked to bring a marriage certificate (it's my 9th time in Morocco and it was the first time) fortunately we had it on the phone but the guy in the hotel insisted on pritining it. As we struggled to find a copyshop he wasn't there anymore so it was all for nothing. Breakfast was the worst I ever had in Morocco. Very poor. All in all very disappointing. All the other Riads we stayed at in Marrakesh were much better.

We had a great time at this Riad. It's a 15 min walk to the Jemaa El-Fna square. I don't understand people's concerns about the neighbourhood. It might seem a bit unsettling at night but the neighbourhood is friendly and safe! The riad is open 24h, the amazingly friendly employee who has the nightshift helped us a lot. The room was amazing, felt really authentic and had enough space. The only thing to be mindful of in Marrakech is the fact that a lot of rooms are really noisy. The facilities are very clean and tidy. The shower feels like a mini spa that will make you feel refreshed after a long day of walking through the crowded and lively medina. The staff is super friendly, and the hospitality is great. They are really nice, relaxed and easy going. They are considered if you need to arrange things. This is a CASH only place so they said we could pay the next day. They booked a taxi to pick us up at the airport which was very nice. We booked the Merzouga 3 days 2 nights excursion with them. We paid ā¬90 p.p. The experience was great, we could leave our suitcase behind while we were gone and they kept it perfectly safe. The departure for the tour is at 7am and they had breakfast ready for us! Our stay was amazing. I'd recommend everyone to experience it as well. Really comfortable and lovely experience.

The Riad is beautiful and located out of the touristic bubble, in a local but safe area where you can easily walk to/from all the souks and the main square. Breakfast was delicious and Adil and his dream team made us feel welcome to use the common spaces of the Riad and to explore the city. They were very helpful and friendly and were available 24/7.
Cons: The shower pressure is the only thing we thought could be better.

Nice hotel,however we had few unpleasent situations with the owner. Welcoming was a bit rude, he asked us to pay even before seeing the room, we asked to see the hotel and he replied that itās the same as in pictures, nothing to do with usual Moroccan hospitality. While paying for the room he āmade a mistakeā giving us a change just to gane few Dirhams. We had quite early flight and asked him if we could have somenthing for breakfast even to go,he said no (while the breakfast was included), he looked more happy that he could save these two breakfasts. We also asked him to print put our plane tickets and he said noā¦ Things you donāt expect from a place with this rating. Treatment very dissapointing.
