Riad très authentique dans la médina. Le personnel a été adorable tout au long du séjour ; serviable, arrangeant, avec le sourire aux lèvres en permanence. Le lieu est baigné d'histoire, le toit-terrasse avec le petit bassin a fait la joie des enfants après une bonne journée de marche. Nous recommandons le petit déjeuner très copieux et également les bons diners commandés à l'avance. Merci à Mohamed et toute son équipe, ce fut une manière grandiose d'arriver dans votre pays si accueillant !

We hadden een heerlijk verblijf bij Riad Orange. De riad is prachtig met mooie en ruime kamers en heeft ook een fantastische ligging. Het personeel is super vriendelijk. Wij hadden zowel ontbijt als avondeten in de riad. Dit is echt wel een aanrader. We werden elke keer weer verrast met de meeste heerlijke en lokale gerechten. Als we nog eens naar Marrakech gaan, zijn we alvast zeker dat we hier terug overnachten.

Cons: Het is moeilijk om iets negatief te verzinnen over deze riad. Het enige waar we wat moeite mee hadden, was het afstellen van de temperatuur van het water van de douche. Het duurde lang om de juiste temperatuur te vinden (ofwel was het veel te heet of veel te koud). Dit kleine minpuntje weegt echter niet op tegen hoe zalig ons verblijf was in deze prachtige riad…

La atencion del personal. A nuestra llegada la propietaria nos alojo en la Suite en lugar de la habitacion reservada porque hacia frio y quiso que estuviesemos en una habitacion con mejor temperatura. La Suite es muy amplia y el baño es muy espacioso. Durante nuestra estancia Assiz y Mohamed nos trataron con mucha amabilidad y siempre con una sonrisa. Assiz nos recibio con un te con pastas y nos facilito planos e informacion de la ciudad. Mohamed se adapto a los horarios de nuestras actividades para que pudieramos disfrutar del servicio de hosteleria. La cocina es de buena calidad. Sirven platos tipicos de la gastronomia marroqui, bien elaborados y as raciones son generosas. De hecho, una noche cenamos un plato que ya habiamos probado en un restaurante recomendado por un guia local, y nos gusto mucho mas el preparado en el Riad. Las cocineras son muy buenas. La ubicacion es adecuada, al principio puede sorprender porque se encuentra en uno de esos pequeños callejones de Marrakech, pero cuando te situas te das cuenta de que es una zona cercana al centro pero tranquila a la vez. Solo podemos agradecer a todo el staff del Riad el trato recibido, ellos y ellas han formado parte de nuestra experencia en el pais rojo. Shkran lak.

There is really nothing I don’t like about Riad Orange. I stayed here for one week as a solo female traveler, and coming back after a day of exploring the busy city felt like coming home to a warm-hearted family. I will cherish this time and the nice conversations I had with everyone! A few extra bonuses: a very well-decorated, cosy and clean room; an excellent location; delicious food (breakfast and dinner); and a great rooftop to enjoy the (winter) sun. Thanks a lot!

The Riad was stunning and so peaceful - a spot of true calm and serenity in the old city. It was close to everything so great location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The terrace and patio were gorgeous places to sit in. The room was decorated in a gorgeous manner. Highlight: the bed was the most comfortable one I have slept in after a long time. I wish I had spent longer there, I cannot wait to go back.

Mohammed stond altijd voor ons klaar, niets was hem te veel! Na een dag rondstruinen in de Medina, voelde het echt als thuiskomen. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid, veel te veel eigenlijk, maar heel erg lekker!

Beautiful colourful riad just a few mins walk into the medina. A haven of tranquillity in the bustling city. Staff were all super helpful, including Muhammed, Aziz and the Housekeeper. We didn't have time to enjoy dinner but breakfast was lovely. Terrace was a delight to enjoy a peaceful mint tea at the end of the evening. Also has a small pool and some sun loungers. My stay at Riad Orange was perfect. The Riad is placed in the Medina, very close to Bahia and El Badi Palace. My room was great, very spacious, new and extremely clean. The breakfast was also super tasty. At night I was relaxing on the cozy rooftop terrace, which also has a small pool. I would like to give a great thank you to the hosts that welcomed me, in particular to Mohammed. He is one of the kindest hosts I've ever had, just a genuinely good person and a very interesting one. The result was the experience you really look for when travelling, a place where you feel home, where you can comfortably rest after a day of activities. I totally recommend this Riad to anyone who is visiting Marrakesch.

Hübsches, ruhiges und sehr sauberes Riad in zentraler Lage. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten können problemlos zu Fuss erreicht werden. Die beiden Gastgeber Mohammed und Aziz sind total lieb und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll gestaltet und genügend gross. Die Dusche braucht etwas Geschick, um die richtige Temperatur zu finden, aber alles gut. Das Frühstück ist eher einfach, aber es gibt für alle etwas (Brot, Konfitüre, Honig, Butter, Obst, Yoghurt, Omelette, Kaffee, Milch). Das Abendessen war gut (es gibt nur 1 Tagesmenü) und preislich im üblichen Rahmen. Die Dachterrasse ist hübsch, mit einem winzigen aber erfrischenden Pool. Das Riad kann nicht per Auto erreicht werden, die letzten 100m muss man zu Fuss zurücklegen. Definitiv eine Empfehlung.

Os quartos são excelentes e bem confortáveis: boa cama, toalhas, produtos para banho, roupão e secador de cabelo. O café da manhã é delicioso e com variedades. Você tem a opção de jantar no riad por um custo adicional: a comida é maravilhosa! Você pode se refrescar na pequena piscina do terraço do hotel, um ótimo lugar para descansar. A localização é no coração da cidade velha, muito próximo ao Palácio Bahia, e você pode fazer tudo a pé. Táxis à disposição nas proximidades. Excelentes restaurantes na região. Riad Orange is a little oasis of peace and tranquility perfectly tucked away in the heart of the Medina, Marrakech. The traditional style and character of the rooms made the stay feel authentic yet very comfortable, and everything was kept beautifully clean. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful each morning, a lovely start to the day. What really makes this riad special though is the people. Mohammed is one of the kindest, most genuine people you could ever meet. He has a wonderful way of making you feel instantly at ease, with his warmth and generosity. He also has a great sense of humour, he made us laugh every day. Aziz was also wonderful, always friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. If you’re looking for somewhere that combines calm, character, and outstanding hospitality, Riad Orange is a perfect choice.

The beautiful courtyard welcomes you like a hug. The design is classic Moroccan with a modern, fresh feel. The rooms are well-appointed with everything you need. The rooftop is an absolutely stunning oasis of calm. But the best thing about Riad Orange, as many others have said, is the staff. All were professional yet welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for Mohammed. He was sincere and personable throughout our stay. Do not hesitate to stay at Road Orange.

Where to start! Arriving up those typical back streets was a little 'oh!'. Once in Mohamed made us so welcome with tea and dried fruits/nuts. Myself I had double single use. Only room to share the pool terrace and pool. The bustle of street life never reached me. We had half board. The breakfast was different each day, ample and very enjoyable. The evening meals!! Served to the time we requested. More than ample 3 course meal. Each meal served by Mohamed with pride of his Morocan dishes. Only a nice wine missing. To round up, highly recommended, good food, excellent treatment and the rooms very clean, all facilities.... what more could a visitor ask for. A few more days? YES!

Moha was the best host, he facilitated anything we asked for, like breakfast at 6am and walked us to get taxis whenever we needed. The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything but in a lovely part of the medina so the walk to the road was super safe and we never felt uneasy at any point. Would 100% stay again, it was genuinely perfect.

A sweet riad that centers the guest experience. Mohammad greets you with mint tea, sits you down and provides recommendations on your travel wishes before showing you to your rooms. The balcony is fantastic and I wish it hadn’t rained so we could’ve enjoyed it more. You will be taken care of here 24/7. The only 9 in my scores was that the bathroom is a little tight but functional with very hot water and good water pressure.

The staff were very helpful, room clean, lovely decoration everywhere and had a great meal on the upstairs terrace. Great location - very quiet but so close to the central market. The staffs were very nice and very helpful. I was quite nervous to stay on the ground floor and didn’t mind smaller room, so they moved me to upstairs which I truly appreciate and didn’t expect that. The location is good, not too hard to find and close to multiple attractions.

Cons: The riad is family friendly so you can hear noises from kids or babies sometimes, but the room I got was quite away from the lobby so it helped.

Great stay if you’re looking for a cozy authentic riad! I stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful stay! I was greeted outside the gate of the medina by one of the staff members when arriving and he also followed me to my transport on the morning of my departure. The hospitality from Mohamed and Aziz was top notch from the moment I arrived! I had dinner here on my first night and was served a lovely tagine. The breakfast was also good. My room was very nice and clean. The room isn’t very soundproof but this didn’t bother me at all.

Cons: Note that this riad is in a very quiet part of the medina. I didn’t feel unsafe walking home in the dark about I can see how it might feel a bit uncomfortable for someone travelling by themselves.

Cons: Parking is scarce and "total ripoff" expensive if you want to be near the riad. So if you are keeping a car, plan accordingly or expect to pay over 15 euros a day. Maybe haggling will help but upon arrival with finding the property, hauling luggage. etc. this just gets to be too darn exhausting !

the staff were super friendly, and the location (although in a very quiet back street), meant that at least you got good peace and tranquility away from the Medina. Very easy access to the southern part for the city with loads of great restaurants and bars, Bahia palace and tomb Saadien as well as the Kasbar etc super accessable. the bed was very comfortable, much more so that two other riads I've stayed in, the rooms have more privacy that many other riads too.

Cons: Solo travellers may find the area a little unnerving late at night, it is actually safe but following the earthquake there are still some buildings awaiting repair (as of Jan 2025).the shower chucks water all over the floor in the bathroom. I was upgraded from a smaller room, I'm so pleased they did as the one I would have had was very dark, without windows into the courtyard.

100% recommended, the staffs are the friendliest and most helpful people we have met in marrakech. It was our first time visiting Morocco, a bit nervous but the staffs in Riad Orange gave us the warmest welcome. The bedroom was clean, got clean towels and extra blanket if necessary. Got air con and good water pressure and temperature shower. Very generous when it comes to breakfast. Even offered us an early breakfast after knowing we have to check out at 7am for a desert tour and even walked us out and waited with us at the waiting point.

The staff were very nice and helpful in providing advice and recommendations, and the location of the riad was very convenient - central in the medina. The breakfast provided was also great and a pleasant surprise during our stay.

Cons: There was a bit of noise leakage in the bedroom in the nighttime but not an issue if you’re not a light sleeper and also it would die down by midnight.

I stayed at this lovely riad and absolutely loved the experience! First, i wanted to thank all the staff for making me feel at home and for helping me with everything always. We’ve had a very nice stay at Riad Orange. Aziz and Mohamed are two very friendly hosts and were really helpful. The Riad itself is located in a quiet part of the Medina and not too far away from the smaller square (+-5 min walk) and main square (+-15 min walk). Lots of great restaurants around, but also the breakfast in the Riad was great! The Riad has a nice rooftop terrace with great sun beds!

Cons: We would say that if we could name one constructive feedback point, it is the following; This is not something the hosts can completely avoid, but we we’re staying here when there were 2 families with little children staying in the Riad. As all rooms are around the garden in the middle, it is quite noisy, especially as they have a couple of djembe’s and drums in the shared space. This is not ideal for couples/families that want to sleep longer than until 8 or 9 o’clock. We would suggest to take the djembe’s and drums away.

This was our first time visiting Morocco and Aziz and Muhammad made our stay so special. Breakfast was delicious, our room was gorgeous, comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. Muhammad greeted us during the night when we arrived from the airport and helped us with our luggage. Aziz was amazing, he gave us advice on where to shop, what prices to pay and where to visit. Aside from this Riad being in an ideal central location and it is a beautiful place to stay, Aziz, Muhammad and the ladies working in the Riad were some of the nicest most genuine people we met during our time in Morocco. Thank you for welcoming us and making our time here so special!

Riad Orange is extremely close to a number of touristic attractions in Marrakech, such as: Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Souks, the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Badi Palace, the Museum of Culinary Arts, among others. Regarding the stay, the staff is tireless. Aziz and Mohamed are always around so we can feel as at home as possible and whenever I needed anything they would help in anyway they could. Aziz is as protective as can be, and Mohamed as funny and chatty. They are gems. The ladies in the kitchen are also very friendly and, more than that, they cook extremely well. It is definitely a "must" to stay at this cozy Riad.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and the riad was cozy and comfortable. The Breakfast meals are amazing! I'd definitely recommend it, specially if you are staying at the main rooms with view to the courtyard !

Cons: Our room was located on the terrace, near the breakfast tables. There should be some sort of signage to let people know there was a room there, as it was loud early in the mornings. But I am sure if people knew of the room there, they would be more self aware. Also, in this room, there was no door at the toilet, which can get weird if you're not a couple ( I was staying with a friend).

So glad I chose this Riad for my first night ever in Marrakech. Atmosphere and decor is beautiful and comfortable, and most especially the hospitality and welcome is warm and friendly. The chicken tagine I had for dinner was the most unique and tastiest I had my whole 17 days in Morocco!

Great location. Just a few minutes from the square and Medina. Mohamed was a true gentleman, helping us all the way and even refused to accept any tips. Riad Orange is lucky to have him—-so kind and professional. Great communication from Astrid before and during our stay.

Cons: We arrived after a long drive from our desert tour and couldn’t get hot water for a shower. Then, to make things worst, we were awaken by little monsters running up and down the stairs yelling and screaming at 7:30am. Asked the parents to control their kids but to no avail. Not really the riad’s fault but keep in mind that this Riad is kid friendly, which is great if you have kids but not for us. Most riads are like Bed & Breakfast places so they are small with shared courtyards and voices carry. These kids were monopolizing all the common areas and using the stairs as a playground—- it was impossible to relax or sleep in. Parents were clueless. Astrid was kind enough to refund us after the first night so we can look for another Riad.

One of the best hotels that I have stayed in - the hospitality is outstanding! Both Mohamed and Aziz were so welcoming and even attempted to teach me a few Arabic words. I am so grateful to them both for making my stay in Marrakech wonderful and for all of the great suggestions (plus help finding the ATM). The breakfast was amazing and I also ate dinner my first night there and it was fantastic. The room was also wonderful and the entire Riad is charming, especially the rooftop terrace. The staff in Riad Orange were really friendly and helpful. Mohamed met us from our taxi to greet us and guide us to the Raid. he was always has a smile and he is good to laugh with. He even served breakfast at 5.30am one morning for us, and let us borrow his phone charger. Asif also had a friendly smile and was fun to laugh with. Both very helpful with any question we had or anything we needed.- walking with us to show us where to find a spa, also when leaving walking with us to get a taxi to say goodbye and make sure we get a good price. we really like the location of the Raid. Easy to find and away from the busier streets. the bed was really comfy. some other riads we stayed at were a bit hard, but this was nice and soft. very clean and stylish place tasty breakfast with large portions

Riad Orange is absolutely lovely. The staff, the decor, the food-- everything. I truly cannot say enough about the riad. For a very low price by American standards, we felt like we were living in luxury. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bathrooms were truly spa-like. Breakfast was included with our room, and included generous portions of coffee and tea. Overall, the staff was the best part -- they represented the best of Moroccan hospitality.
