Cons: Struttura molto trascurata, la camera era umida e sporca. Quando siamo arrivati non c’erano asciugamani, sapone, acqua, le finestre erano rotte. I vetri delle finestre sporchi. La cassaforte bloccata chiusa. Ho dovuto chiedere più volte di sistemare tutto prima che intervenissero. La cassaforte non l’hanno mai sistemata. I tappeti sporchissimi il bagno pieno di macchie di umidità.

Cons: Unfortunately, my experience at Fairmont Tazi Palace Tangier was far below the standard I expected from a luxury five-star hotel. Before my arrival, I clearly requested an extra bed, a bidet/toilet spray, and additional bottled water. Despite making these requests in advance, none of them were prepared when I arrived. I had to wait for a long time before receiving the requested items, which was extremely disappointing after a long journey. The receptionist repeatedly mentioned that this was “the best hotel in the area,” which raised my expectations, but unfortunately, the service did not reflect that level of excellence. I was also disappointed by the lack of a proper welcome and the absence of assistance with my luggage upon arrival. In addition, the room was not as clean as I expected from a Fairmont property. Before check-out, I had specifically requested a Mercedes van for transportation at 1:30 PM, but the handling of my arrangements added further frustration to an already disappointing stay. Overall, I expected exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, cleanliness, and professionalism from Fairmont. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet these expectations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the guest experience.

Beautiful setting for this hotel. The reception//lobby are very aesthetic. The rooms were very comfortable and quite spacious. We liked the luxurious details of the hotel in and around the setting. The breakfast was very good quality with a huge variety. The swimming pool is a large good size. The spa which consists of sauna/steam etc was included and easily booked, via Oumayma who was very helpful. Overall i enjoyed the stay and felt very refreshed whilst on the trip.
Cons: The service/esp housekeeping was a little slow when requesting anything over the phone. If we wanted anything for ex bed sheets/ towels , it would require a few phone calls, and take about 30 mins to receive. This was a little disappointing as the hotel was not especially busy.

Het personeel was niet opgeleid.
Cons: Inchecken duurde 40 min, daar het personeel gezellig aan het praten was aan de receptie en wij maar wachten. Kreeg een rokerskamer, wat niet de bedoeling was. Kregen de kamer pas na 16uur. Werken aan het gedeelte van het restaurant, bij het ontbijt en avonddiner. Al hetgeen we bestelden duurden heel lang en kregen maar de helft van de bestelling.

Amazing breakfast with a huge spread, great staff, beautiful property all round, great location and views across the hills, great room, super clean and well maintained.
Cons: Charging ridiculous prices for water is out of order. Food offerings by the pool could be better, and service from the F&B staff - though the pool guys with parasols etc were brilliant. Didn't get a runthrough of the hotel's amenities on check in, which would have been useful.

Wij willen graag onze waardering uitspreken voor de manager van Housekeeping en Back Office. Helaas ben ik zijn naam vergeten, maar hij verdient absoluut een speciale vermelding. Er was bij aankomst iets mis met onze kamer, maar hij heeft dit op een sublieme en zeer professionele manier opgelost. Zijn klantgerichtheid, vriendelijkheid en positieve instelling maakten echt het verschil tijdens ons verblijf. Hij nam de tijd om naar ons te luisteren, dacht mee in oplossingen en zorgde ervoor dat alles perfect werd geregeld. Medewerkers zoals hij zijn een echte aanwinst voor het hotel en dragen bij aan een uitstekende gastenervaring. Nogmaals hartelijk dank voor de geweldige service. Wij komen graag terug!

We were traveling through Spain and decided to spend a few nights in Tangier, as we had always wanted to see it. We debated about staying in the city center to be within walking distance to everything ... but ultimately, decided a 5-star resort would be more relaxing. Know that this resort is at least a 20 minute drive into the areas you might want to see in Tangier. There is no Uber in Morocco and this resort is in the hills ... so remote from towns/taxis/etc. The hotel was very good about arranging car service for between $20 - $35 each way for we wanted to get into the city. The upside is that Tangier can be chaotic with tourists and noise and activity and doesn't have many true luxury resorts in the city. The downside is you are paying $35 - $70, depending on car size each time you want to get into the city or beach. The upside is that you won't really want to leave the resort, once you enter it. It is truly a five-star oasis. The landscaping is beyond beautiful with flowers and lavender growing everywhere and it is kept up very well ... not a blade of grass or couch cushion is ever out of place. They even have a small path which they call 'the forest' with a nature walk lined with flowers. The only downside to this hotel is that one half of the hotel overlooks a neighborhood compound where people live. We had a rooster outside our room, which would crow loudly every 15 seconds ... all day long starting at 6 a.m. You could hear it through the glass door but to sit outside on the balcony was tough to do because it was nonstop loud crowing. Also dogs were barking and people were partying at night. My suggestion is to ask for a room on the forest side vs. the side overlooking the neighborhood. We had a suite with panoramic balcony. Aside from the sounds of rooster, dogs, voices and people being able to look into our balcony, it was a big balcony with lounge chairs. Perfect for sitting with a glass of wine and looking out into the distant city's lights. The suite itself was very spacious with a separate dressing room/closet ... luxurious marble bathroom with a big soaking tub and shower ... a living room area and a bedroom area, separated by a partition with a TV. The bed was a little more firm than I like ... and the couch was terrible as the cushions slid around with big gaps in them, making it difficult to sit on. The bathroom shower and tub were the best part of the room and having the wardrobe connected made it easy to get ready with privacy. The pool area is great. It was never tough to get a lounge chair and there were so many places to sit. Many hotels and restaurants do not serve alcohol in Morocco, however at this one, they do and there is a pool bar you can order from. The water temperature was on the cool side but tolerable. Downside is for some reason the pool closes at 6 p.m. There is nothing better than a night swim so I'm not sure why it closes so early. We ate at the restaurant one night which was fantastic. The tanginess we had here (especially the beef) were the best we had in Morocco. Of course it was much more expensive than in town but the flavours were so on point ... and it came to the table bubbling. Most of the other restaurants we ate at in Morocco did not seem freshly made from the oven. Also, spend the extra money and get the package which includes breakfast. It was amazing and one of the best buffets we have been to with a lot of variety. You really must see it to believe it. Lastly, the staff was truly 5-star. We literally didn't encounter even one person who didn't seem to love their job. The concierges were so helpful with booking cars, making recommendations, getting us good restaurant reservations, etc. They even gave us their what app numbers to ensure that we were connected. The workers at the breakfast buffet were so friendly and conversational and taught us a lot about the country/city. One of our drivers Boulaiz was the highlight of our trip. He was so nice and helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort to lose yourself in relaxation, if you are okay with not being in the city.

La suite est très très spacieuse et bien aménagée. Le wi-fi fonctionne très bien et quasiment partout. Le kids club est très agréable! Les services proposés par le spa sont top avec une grande disponibilité. Mention spéciale pour la masseuse Ferdaous qui a des doigts de fée.
Cons: Les membres du personnel sont très gentils dans l'ensemble mais l'équipe de ménage manque de rigueur (pas de peignoir dans notre chambre jusqu'à ce que je les réclame 24h après notre arrivée, déchets en papier dans le dressing présents à notre arrivée et durant tout le séjour...) et l'équipe du restaurant manque de professionnalisme (le personnel se sert et mange en même temps que les clients dans la salle, service en salle lent malgré le grand nombre de serveur, communication difficile en raison d'une barrière de la langue avec certains serveurs ne parlant ni anglais, ni français...).

We had the distinct pleasure of cooking alongside Chef Ouadia Benmazhar and his associate chef Karim (a). We arrived to warm smiles and extreme professionalism. After a few minutes we all laughed, chopped, marinated and bonded over our lack of knife skills and Chef Ouadia’s profound talent. We made tasty traditional Moroccan dishes. Once we were done the staff set us up at a beautiful table and the food we created was served in a three course meal. By the way- the finished product was delicious. This is a spectacular way to learn about Moroccan culture and cuisine. To have a chance to learn alongside Chef Ouadia and Karim (a), is truly a gift.

Llegamos a las 830 am , habíamos avisado y nos dijeron que perfecto, pero tras una hora de espera , dijeron que la habitación no iba a estar. Nos fuimos regresamos a las 1445 y tampoco estaba la habitación. Tuvimos que esperar hasta las 1530

A beautiful hotel, immaculately clean, in palatial surroundings. The rooms are a very generous size and beautifully designed and the bath rooms are gorgeous too. The hotel generously left lots of fresh fruit, nuts and Moroccan sweet treats for us when we arrived. The staff are amazing, so friendly and can’t do enough for you, service with a smile and very professional. We really enjoyed our one night stay here and will definitely come back.

The hotel is incredible, we loved the private garden and the forest beneath. Incredible walk in the morning and afternoon. Very peaceful. The bathtub has a nice window overlooking the private garden. The room is beautiful and all amenities are great. The in room dining offered great food.
Cons: This is nitpicking but I had a small issue when I reserved the hotel taxi a night before for a 6 am ride, they told me a price then when I was paying directly before my ride they asked for a higher price. One more thing because I’m a photographer :), they have beautiful old photography in the room wall, but one of the photos is printed twice with two different sizes, for me this weakens the collection, they should replace the smaller print with another photo. This comment shows that I don’t find much to complain about :)

My stay at the Fairmont Tazi Palace was everything I was hoping it would be, a truly beautiful and relaxing experience. The staff in particular are all absolutely stellar and couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. I’d especially like to call out Yasmine and Abdullah for making each breakfast a highlight of my day! Try the mint tea, it’s an absolute treat 💚

From the picture perfect view of Morocco, lovely rooms, refreshing pool, beautiful Forrest walk, spa and your choice of 3 restaurants, this property has it all. Best of all is the professional, passionate and genuinely gracious staff. A particular favorite was Najim who assisted us with breakfast each morning. The place is stunning, exceptional and absolute beautiful in any way. The girls at reception and concierge guys super friendly and helpful. Room was also exceptional, large, pretty, with very comfy bed, gorgeous bath and balcony. The welcome water sweets and fruits were highly appreciated. Hole ways, all the black and white professional Moroccan photos were mind blowing. The spa was also gorgeous. I used the sauna and had a massage treatment I fully enjoyed. Chaimae who is managing the spa was absolutely friendly nice and super helpful. She assured me booking a treatment and showed me around. She even helped me with the locker. Rest salon and showers were very nice too. Water and herbal tea available. Jacuzzi looked good as well. The steam room was not working but the sauna made it for it. My massage therapist - Hanane was very good, nice, courteous, friendly, and professional. Wish I spoke French to have some conversation with her as well as more time to experience more treatments. Breakfast restaurant Curdo was very pretty and breakfast itself sumptuous. (only negative was one of the breakfast attendant - young shirt guy with short haircut and childish face who was around coffee machine making coffee for the older French couples whom we asked few times for warm milk for our coffe we made ourselves - I am a coffee connoisseur- and he promised bring it in a sec and then went on with his texting in his phone and forgot us in a blink, hence we never got the milk. We were in a hurry to leave early as a long drive ahead and never asked for his name. He was the only flaw or a little black dot in the whole beautiful picture / well orchestrated machine the palace is. The piccolos and car attendants were also amazing and treated our car well (we had some oldish beat up Dacia Duster rental from marrakesh Avis). I wish we spent more time and experience the pool but now have a reason to return. Thank you for the great hospitality

Cons: - reception desk doesn’t accept 500€ banknotes and there are no warnings about it in advance - you can’t pay for food at check-out. We had very unpleasant situation with the staff: when we returned to the room after dinner reception desk called us and told us that we must pay immediately and that we can not do it upon check-out. The guy from reception came to our room for money in several minutes. That was quite rude and doesn’t match expectations from a 5-star hotel - after breakfast we had similar situation: we literally were convoyed to the reception desk to pay for it. - staff parks luxury cars in front of the entrance door and common cars are hided far from it Overall the hotel itself is big and beautiful but staff’s attitude made us feel very uncomfortable there

I visited the spa today (note: I was not staying at the Fairmont, but was very welcome) What a delightful experience! The spa is beautiful and very well appointed. Most importantly, I had a 90 minute Hot Stone massage that was fantastic! My masseuse was Ferdouss, and she was excellent……I recommend that you request her. I don’t know if I have ever been more relaxed: she soothed my sore muscles from those long walks in the Medina. All for a very reasonable price. Enjoy!!

The service is premium operated by friendly, accomodating and professional staff in all sectors. As the name suggests, the hotel is 'palacial' in a coveted location with large majestic pool and gardens below, to enjoy an early morning stroll. The gym overlooks the gardens and view of Tangier beyond; equipped with the latest Precor cardio machines and weight station. The hotel offers three highly recommended restaurants: spoilt for choice between Moroccon, Mediterranean or Iranian; all serving top-tier cuisines. I came for a birthday weekend for my wife, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff to help make it special. Thank you to the concierge for arranging a cake in the room; to the kitchen staff for their happy service and extensive breakfast choices; the bar and lounge servers for their sophisticated service as well as all the reception personnel for their smiles and charm. My wife loved it so much she is returning next weekend with friends and I will defintely be returning to bask again in the Fairmont Tazi Palace Hotel expeience as soon as possible.

This is my second visit to this hotel and we stayed for 2 nights - The room we had was a panoramic twin room which was lovely- The bathroom was quirky and different and a lovely welcome gift was there for our arrival - All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I had an amazing stay at Fairmont Tazi. It is literally a plaza. I relaxed at the spa, and soaked up the early December sun by the pool. But the highlight was a private cooking class with Karima. Karima and I bonded instantly over our shared love of cooking. She radiates pride in her craft and genuine joy in working at the Fairmont, and it shows in every moment of the experience. Together, we prepared Zaalouk and a fragrant Moroccan Chicken Tagine. The air filled with garlic, cumin, ginger, saffron — the kind of aromas that make you stop, close your eyes, and take a long breath in. As the dishes simmered away, other guests wandered over to the outdoor kitchen, drawn by the spices and curiosity about what was cooking. It felt communal, warm, and wonderfully Moroccan. This class with Karima was a standout moment on my final stop of a three-week journey around Morocco. I’m heading home to Australia now, eager to recreate this meal for my friends and family — and I know that each time I do, I’ll be transported straight back to this special corner of Morocco. Highly recommend. An unforgettable experience.

I usually prefer to write positive reviews, because they capture moments worth remembering. The Fairmont in Tangier has a breathtaking location atop a hill, with a romantic view that’s truly special – but only if you book a Panorama room. Unfortunately, despite my high hopes for this stay, the hotel falls short of what one expects from a true luxury experience. Across all departments, there was a noticeable lack of seamless communication, smooth operations, attention to detail, and the ability to really “read” the guest. Everyone on staff was kind and polite, and that friendliness is appreciated – but it’s simply not enough. The cuisine was another disappointment. Morocco in general, is famous for its rich spices and flavors – yet the dishes here were surprisingly bland. A personal word of caution: I would think twice before relying on the in-room dining. That said, there’s a lot of potential here. The property’s location and setting are truly magical, and with some serious attention to training, operations, and culinary creativity, the Fairmont Tazi Palace could still become one of the city’s top high-end hotels. Tangier is on the rise in terms of luxury hospitality, and I sincerely hope the Fairmont evolves with it.

I stayed in a room with a private garden, which I highly recommend it was just so lovely. Very big and private If I had only one suggestion, it would be that they had some kind of affordable shuttle that would take you to town because the property is about a 15 minute drive away from most of Central Tanger. They provide taxis a few ask but they charge almost 10 times the amount that it cost to get back to the hotel in a petit taxi.

I had a very positive experience at this beautiful hotel. It is well-located and a stunning property. This was my first visit to Tangier, a city I thoroughly enjoyed in every respect. I was pleased that the hotel was in close proximity to many important sites. Our bedroom was lovely, with attractive furnishings, and a terrace that overlooked the city. Dinner at the Mediterranean Restaurant was very tasty and the food was extremely fresh. They staff was lovely and most hospitable. Thank you for making our stay so great

This was a fabulous hotel. It had been the old Sultan Tazi's palace and had been empty for many years before a wonderful renovation by the Fairmont. The property stood in its own very spacious grounds with views out to the Tangier coast in the distance. Everyone of the staff - and I mean everyone - we encountered was exceptionally friendly and exceedingly helpful. We had a Panoramic View Double Room with Balcony - the room was enormous and so was the balcony outside. Bathroom was huge as well. It was very quiet while wandering the beautiful long corridors of the hotel - and getting lost a few times in the different wings! The Lobby is on the 5th floor - it was beautifully decorated with stunning glass mosaics and high ceilings. The hotel had an incredible number of different styles of chairs - all beautifully created to be pieces of art as well as for seating. They had a resident super friendly cat called Mendoub which translates into the "Sultan's Representative". Mendoub had his own basket in a corner of the Rose Bar area but he was often just seen lounging around in various places waiting for guests to "pay homage" to him by patting and stroking him. Eating outside in the Crudo Mediterranean restaurant was excellent one night as was the meal in the downstairs Social Kitchen which provided a beautiful Moroccan setting for wonderful dining experience.

Great comfortable enormous hotel with a beautiful view of the city and a large swimming pool with comfortable loungers. The comfort level is 10/10!! The beds, the room and the private terrace were all very spacious - nicely decorated! After 2 weeks traveling through Morocco we found this to be our sanctuary for the last two nights in Tangier. The staff is great about hailing taxis for you! Onsite restaurants are great options, if your not feeling like you want to go out. Their Moroccan restaurant had live music and we sat outside on the patio under the moonlight with the city sparkling in the distance! Cookie at the front desk, as she is adoringly called ,was so helpful and made us feel welcomed and right at home as soon as we checked in! Great bar, and mixed drinks - which we found to be a nice treat as Morocco is limited on good cocktail / wine options in many spots! The entire staff was so eager, helpful, and friendly, they are so passionate about their country and sharing their enthusiasm with travelers! Highly recommend!!

From the moment you enter the hotel you are greeted with a wonderful aroma that engulfs your senses and continues into your room. Our panoramic room (606) was fantastic. Spacious with a great view and immaculately kept clean by housekeeping. All the staff are wonderful and very helpful. A special mention to Aya on Reception who was extremely welcoming on our arrival. Also, to Mouad from Crudo restaurant who attended our every need at breakfast. Thank you!

Zo moesten wij zelf om menu vragen en ook bijna half uur wachten tot ze terugkwamen om bestelling op te nemen. Dit terwijl zij met groepje collega's stonden te praten. Deze situatie heeft zich meerdere keren herhaald. Tevens was het eten in het hotelrestaurant gemiddeld.

Seul bémol odeur des remontées de canalisations de salle de bain dans la chambre, assez gênantes et chambre mal insonorisée au niveau de la porte qui laisse passer le jour du coup on entends absolument tous des couloirs. À part ça l’hôtel est top avec bel vue sur Tanger malgres qu’avec la circulation compter 30 à 40 minutes pour se rendre sur la corniche.

L'établissement est somptueux, la literie exceptionnelle, les chambres magnifiques. J'avais un balcon qui donnait sur un jardin qui exhalait des parfum de rêve, avec une vue en surplomb sur la ville. Le personnel est très accueillant. Les petits déjeuners sont exceptionnels : le choix entre le sucré et le salé est sans fin et de même entre les spécialités locales ou la western food (mais je conseille le local : fait devant nous, excellent). Des restaurants de différentes nationalités sont déjà dans l'hôtel si on ne veut pas ressortir le soir et la nourriture y est délicieuse également. Bref : à faire !
Cons: Je ne suis pas fan de piscine, donc à prendre avec des pincettes : mais elle est relativement petite, peu profonde, faite pour des enfants plutôt que les adultes. Par contre les équipements alentours sont supers si on a envie de faire une sieste ou de manger au bord de l'eau.

We had chosen one of the higher-end suites, expecting a five-star experience, but it didn’t meet expectations. While the room was clean, it wasn’t particularly impressive or up to the standard we expected. There were no fresh fruits provided daily, the fridge wasn’t working, and basic amenities like cutlery or a stocked minibar were missing nothing that made it feel like a proper suite or justified the higher price. Customer service was friendly and helpful overall, but due to a language barrier, some of my concerns and requests weren’t properly understood or addressed.

From beginning to end the service we received was exceptional. My husband and I could not have chosen a better holiday to mark our wedding anniversary. The staff truly made us feel as though we were their only guests. A very special mention to Yousef, Foutou and Omir. They and their colleagues looked after us. We absolutely loved our stay at the Fairmont. The hotel is very luxurious and the rooms are fabulous. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We used the gym and spa area which were also really lovely. The hotel is around 15 mins drive from the Medina etc but the hotel can arrange a taxi to take you there for 15 euros. We will definitely return!

The property is a stunning historical palace — absolutely beautiful, with a large lush garden that adds to its charm. The staff were incredibly kind, and we were given a complimentary upgrade to a room with a private garden. The room’s design was elegant, and the garden added a deep sense of peace and relaxation.
Cons: The only downside — which was entirely my own fault — is that I didn’t explore the hotel properly when I first arrived. I wish I had taken more time to enjoy all the facilities, especially the pool and the expansive garden. Overall, it was an exceptional and memorable stay!

Osman organised a beautiful birthday surprise for me that included a beautiful cake and a wonderful decoration with rose petals. Yaseen was most helpful too. This is a beautiful property with fresh flowers everywhere. Our junior suite was spacious and very comfortable. The balcony had very comfortable lounge chairs. Breakfast had a nice selection of fruits, eggs, crepes and an array of desserts. It was well stocked and replenished as needed. Car service was billed to room and was very convenient. All the restaurants we went to were only 10-15 minutes away. Why not five stars….this had to do with the service. Limited to no service at the pool. Two nights reservations were not found at outside restaurants when concierge said they were made. Service at lunch was fair. This really could be a five star property if service improved.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié cet établissement, notamment la bienveillance et le professionnalisme du personnel. Les lieux étaient propres, agréablement parfumés, et nous avions réservé une chambre avec jardin privatif. Le seul petit bémol : la présence d’insectes, ce qui est normal en pleine nature, mais un traitement régulier permettrait sans doute de mieux les maîtriser. J’aurais aimé que ce palace bénéficie d’une vue sur la mer, ce qui aurait été un vrai plus. Le petit-déjeuner était à la hauteur, tout comme les équipements et la propreté de la chambre. Vraiment, rien à redire sur la qualité du service.

Cons: A hotel of this caliber needs a dedicated concierge who can make restaurant recommendations and reservations. Most of the front desk staff were young and inexperienced, and gave conflicting answers to the same question. Often as not, the opening times, choices, descriptions of various restaurants were inaccurate or wrong. There should be a list of vetted restaurant choices for couples, families, business, etc.

Cons: Le service n’est ni consistant ni digne d’un 5 étoiles. Excepté le service voiturier qui est rapide, sympa et efficace pour le reste c’est assez déplorable. Arrivée à l’hôtel vers 18h, on a dû attendre presque une heure pour avoir les clés de la chambre. Je peux comprendre l’attente si on arrive à l’heure pile du Check in mais là .. Le service en chambre n’est pas consistant, il manque parfois des peignoirs, parfois des tapis de bain, parfois ils ajoutent de l’eau, parfois pas.. certaines fois ils passent 2 fois dans la journée.. d’autres ils nous laissent des mots en disant que s’ils ne parviennent pas à entrer dans les 24h ils feront « une inspection discrète ». Le service à la piscine est catastrophique, attente de plus d’1h pour des simples boissons ou sel (et on n’était meme pas en haute saison donc vraiment pas beaucoup de monde) La réception n’a pas les infos concernant les restaurants de l’hôtel et nous dit de retourner dans les chambres pour scanner les QR code et avoir les infos. J’ai payé une double taxe de séjour alors que j’étais seule en chambre. 1 mois après mon séjour, le remboursement n’a pas été effectué car la carte de crédit ne correspond soi-disant pas au paiement. Alors que je n’ai qu’une seule carte de crédit à mon nom .. bref l’incompétence règne dans cet établissement !! C’est très dommage car la structure et le cadre sont magnifiques mais pour un prix de presque 250€ la nuit on s’attend à un service de qualité qui n’est malheureusement pas au rendez-vous.

We loved our room with the private garden, and hated to leave! We travel with our small dog and he loved going out and laying in the sun in the garden. I found it to be perfect place to relax, read, have a glass of wine or a coffee. The staff was exceptional. Fatima, at the front desk, Mr. Ali (?) in the Crudo Restaurant, as well as a lovely young woman who served us at dinner. So very efficient and kind, I wish I remembered her name. Everyone was so very helpful and courteous. The food that we had at Crudo was excellent too...couscous with chicken, fish, everything was delicious. Also enjoyed the wood fired pizza.
Cons: I wish there had been a list of spa services online. I tried to visit the spa but somehow could not find it. I would have loved to have had a massage and hammam, if available. However, my day at the pool made up for the fact that I could not have a spa treatment. The pool was beautiful and clean, and the lounge chairs were comfortable.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Stunning views. Gorgeous rooms. Facilities excellent. Breakfast was wonderful. The staff stood out - many of them so, so lovely.
Cons: Very little to say here. There were some very small, odd things that I didn't expect from a 5* hotel. Our room didn't have a remote control or a hairdryer and we had to ask for more towels. We only got robes on the day before we left. The room didn't have information that would have been helpful, like room service, laundry costs etc. These are SUCH tiny things. On the whole the hotel was wonderful.

Beautiful and very comfortable rooms. Our family upgraded to 2x garden rooms and very much enjoyed the quiet outdoor space to relax. The breakfast buffet was generous, with both Moroccan and international offerings. The staff was generally very helpful and attentive, though I would say more staff are required in the pool area as it was difficult to find anyone to take food and drink orders. The hotel is located about a 15min taxi ride from the old town. As this was the last stop of a two-week trip, we were happy to chill out at the hotel for most of our stay, but if you are wanting to be amongst the vibe and activity of Tangier, you might want to choose to be closer to the action. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it to others.

The hotel is lovely, and the staff provides excellent service. That being said, it was probably not what we were looking for. The vibe is a bit fancy/fussy, and the hotel is located way up on a hill far removed from the rest of Tangier. It’s not in a walkable location. This is not the fault of the Fairmont. We should have researched more and booked a more casual, nice hotel nearer to the water.

الفندق فاخر جدًا ومريح من حيث مساحة الغرف والموظفين والخدمات. بوفيه الإفطار لذيذ جدًا ومتنوع ويحتوي على أصناف مناسبة للنباتيين والذين يعانون من حساسية الغلوتين. الغرفة متكاملة من حيث الأدوات الضرورية، وتحتوي الغرفة على بلكونة مطلعة. الفندق يحتوي على 3 مطاعم وتم تجربة المطعم الفارسي لكن الاصناف كانت عادية حقيقة. كل الشكر لموظفة الاستقبال صفاء على تعانونها أثناء تسجيل الدخول للفندق.

Cons: L'etablissement en entier sentait la peinture fraiche et j'y suis allergique! Ma mére qui m'accompagnait pour ce voyage aussi. Nous avons été intoxiqué avec difficulté de respirer et nous avons demandé a changer de chambre. Notre requete a été entendue mais la 2eme chambre aussi sentait la peinture. Comment un etablissement pareil peut se permettre de louer des chambres en renovation. Je n'ai pu m'endormir qu' 5h du matin. Au réveil, une seule idée en tête partir. Pour le check out ils m'ont fait payer 50% de la chambre alors que j'ai demandé un remboursement complet! Un mauvais sommeil et une intoxication allergique à la peinture nous a gaché la nuit et la journée qui a suivi. J'ai join des photos de renovation de l'hotel. Premiere et derniere fois que nous allons à cet hotel. Un dédommagement de la moitié de la nuit c'est limite du manque de respect supplémentaire! Si vous portez atteinte à la respiration de vos clients il faut beaucoup plus q'un remboursement total!

Nous avons passé une semaine fabuleuse dans cet établissement. L’architecture est très belle et l’hôtel est très bien entretenu. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables. Le petit-déjeuner est absolument incroyable. Le centre-ville de Tanger est facilement accessible en taxi. Seul bémol, nous avons été déçus par le restaurant perse/marocain de l’hôtel : le rapport qualité/prix pourrait être amélioré selon nous. Mais globalement, nous recommandons vivement le Fairmont Tazi Palace de Tanger !

The location offers tranquility away from the city’s hustle yet is easily accessible by taxi from the main train station—perfect for a relaxing retreat. The breakfast experience was a highlight, with a stunning restaurant view and an impressive selection of fresh, high-quality dishes, from continental favorites to Moroccan specialties. My room was spacious, luxurious, and elegantly designed, but the private terrace was the true standout. Watching the sunrise from there was breathtaking, with panoramic views of Tangier bathed in golden light. The hotel also arranged a private tour to Tetouan and Chefchaouen via a Mercedes Vito, making for a seamless and enjoyable trip. Our driver, Abdulhamid, was knowledgeable and fluent in Arabic, which helped navigate the local dialect. Overall, Fairmont Tazi Palace Tangier exceeded my expectations. With seclusion, luxury, and top-tier service, it’s the perfect place to unwind in style. Highly recommended—I’ll be returning!
