Stayed for 1-night on a layover in BKK. Comfortable facilities. The pool is very nice although it was extremely windy making it uncomfortable to enjoy. We had an issue with the AC in our room but they fixed that pretty quickly

Centrally located hotel. Its a very quiet, luxury place even though youre in the middle of Sukhumvit in Bangkok. They have a nice garden out front and the facilities are top notch. Very well equipped gym, nice pool & lounge and a good Japanese restaurant downstairs. My room had an amazing view over the city and was spacious and well equipped. I could do the laundry because of my training here as well.

Cons: I had an extended stay and was in the hotel quite a long time. I like when the staff is attentive to your needs and almost invisible but I felt here the staff is completely invisible. Only once during my stay did a staff member check in with me in the elevator, maybe a small point of improvement. It certaintly does not weigh up against the positives.

Logement idéal, tant sur la décoration, l'ameublement, l'emplacement. Vue magnifique sur les buildings de la ville depuis les chambres, salon et cuisine. Le ménage est fait tous les jours, les serviettes de bain remplacées quotidiennement. Le métro est à 4 min à pieds en marchant tranquillement et vous avez deux rooftops très connus sur le trottoir d'en face. La piscine était calme et pas bondée avec une belle vue également. Le personnel d'une extrême gentillesse. Tout était parfait

The staff were really good. I have to give a special mention to Mida at the front desk for helping us out a lot when we arrived as my partner was very unwell. I also did not get the name of the security guard who was around in the evening but he was also very helpful too. Laundry was also relatively cheap and the facilities were clean. The hotel is also very close to Thonglor BTS so travelling into Siam was relatively quick.

Cons: Unfortunately screen mirroring did not work and there are no options to use airplay/ chromecast which was a negative, especially as my partner was unwell and bed bound. There was also a very strange smoke smell coming from the bathroom, requiring us to use the fan a lot, which was odd as it is a non smoking hotel and we were on the 30th floor. There was also some very minor issues such as the kettle not working initially but it was promptly seen to

Hotel has great staff, everyone was welcoming and nice. Location is amazing, very close to BTS and you are surrounded by restaurants, bars, massage places etc.

Cons: I would not call it a five star hotel, just overall not a lot of attention to detail. Also we got a room next to the housekeeping and every night at 11pm there was a lot of noise.

This hotel was amazing from the start. The lobby is really nice and they greet you by taking your bags and welcome you with a free juice. The room was super clean with an amazing view and less than a 5 minute walk from two amazing and popular rooftop bars the Octave and Tichuca. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the BTS Thong Lo station which makes it easier to get around. The temples and chinatown are all about an hour away on the BTS but it’s not as bad as it sounds as Bangkok is just really spread out. If you want a clean luxurious hotel within short distance of very cool rooftop bars then this is the place for you. There is also a 7-11 and many restaurants, coffee shops, massage places, and some street food very close. I would definitely stay here again!

Cons: Not being able to charge drinks by the pool to the room was unexpected for such a nice hotel but not a big deal.

Cons: Our one-bedroom premier had a faulty air conditioner in the bedroom that made loud noises around 4 AM, waking us up for the first two nights of our stay. Luckily, we later relied on the living room air conditioning for cooling. The toilet had no electrical socket, so we either had to use the hair dryer in the bedroom while family members were sleeping or dry our hair in the living room.

And when I was at the pool I ordered some food (fish & chips and pizza) and it was absolutely not good for a 5 stars hotel. In the bathroom the shower put a lot of water on the bathroom floor and i couldn’t dry my hair in the bathroom.

The atmosphere is really chill and high-end, especially the pool bar on the 11th floor. Watching the sunset from the infinity pool was definitely the highlight of my trip! My room was huge, modern, and very clean. For the price, the value is unbeatable given how nice the facilities are. The best part of the experience was the service. Really appreciated friendly service, Jay the bartender! He’s such a cool guy and makes amazing drinks. He really made us feel welcome every night. Excellent location, right opposite the T-one building which has high end rooftop bars and clubs, the noise doesn’t spill over though with is a good thing. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Bangkok. One BTS stop away from Phrom Phong which has 3 huge shopping malls and more restaurants and rooftop bars. Will definitely be back for a long stay. Only stayed two days this time just in case it ended up being my vibe but it was to be fair.

I had an amazing stay at Ascott Thonglor Bangkok. My sister and I truly enjoyed our time here. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had the most stunning sunrise views every morning—it really set the tone for our day. We also loved the gym; it was well-maintained and had everything we needed. And the pool was just dreamy, especially in the evenings when the city lights came alive. Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in questo hotel, e devo dire che è veramente io top sotto tutti gli aspetti: eleganza, pulizia, cortesia del personale, facilities, e posizione. Le camere sono molto confortevoli. Alloggiavamo in una camera premier con 2 camere da letto e 2 bagni. Era provvista di tutto, c'era anche una cucina attrezzata. All'interno anche una lavasciuga, qualora vogliate fare una lavata e asciugare alcuni capi. Il giorno dell'arrivo, poiché eravamo con largo anticipo rispetto all'orario di check in ci hanno dato una superior. La dotazione è il comfort erano come quelli della Premiere, solo con una sola camera e un bagno. Le parti comuni sono sempre ben curate e profumate. La piscina all'11 esimo piano è molto bella, e se vi iscrivete al programma dell'hotel avete una consumazione incluse al giorno per persona. Anche la zona è ottima: sicura e ben collegata alla metro (anche se per quello che costa Bolt potete benissimo andare sempre in giro con autista). Lo consiglio a tutti!

Техники сказали, что решить проблему с этими звуками нельзя. Слышно как хлопают дверьми соседи так, что дрожат стены. Слышно как разговаривают в номерах сверху и снизу. В итоге цена не соответствует качеству номеров.

Wir hatten das 2 Zimmer Appartement im 34. Stock und es war einfach traumhaft. Super sauber und sehr gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Küche war toll ausgestattet. Auch das Housekeeping und das Personal im allgemeinen waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten 4 tolle Tage und jetzt wo wir in Thailand unterwegs sind und einige Hotels besucht haben, können wir sagen, dass das Ascott wirklich eins der Besten war. Vielen Dank.

Everything about my stay at Ascott Thonglor was amazing. From the design and aesthetic of the hotel, the spacious rooms, cleanliness of the entire place and the exceptional service and friendliness of the staff. The pool area was a highlight for me. Such a spacious and well designed pool a long with great city views. Included breakfast was great with a lot of variety and different cuisines. Location is really good as well. Would 100% recommend this hotel and one I would definitely come back to.

The staff were friendly, professional, and very accommodating throughout my stay. I absolutely loved my room — spacious, modern, and comfortable. The pool and lounge areas were relaxing and stylish, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The staff went above and beyond to make my birthday special — they surprised me with a lovely birthday cake and decorated my room multiple times during my stay. I also enjoyed the daily happy hour with two complimentary drinks as an ASR Member, which was a nice bonus! I would definitely recommend Ascott Thonglor to anyone visiting Bangkok. I’ll absolutely stay here again next time I’m in the city!

Thank you Ascott Thonglor! We enjoyed our stay. Was checked in by FO Job and checked out by FO Mida. They are both professional and friendly during interaction. The bell team is a great bunch too! We felt safe and well looked after whenever we returned to the hotel in Grab or taxi. They were quick to assist us with our luggage and bags, also used a torchlight to check if we leave anything in the car. We were assigned to an impeccable room that has bathtub and bidet!! Room was well-cleaned and also decorated for a birthday touch. Housekeeper Da certainly did a great job with cleanliness and decoration. Great location. Just 3mins walk to Thonglor BTS. Plenty of eateries and restaurants nearby. Will surely consider Ascott Thonglor again when coming to Bangkok next time!

Modernes Hotel in zentraler Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zu tollen Rooftopbars und zwei Einkaufszentren. Sehr freundliches Personal und großzügige Zimmer. Das Frühstück hat umgerechnet 13,- EUR gekostet und war sehr reichhaltig und vielfältig.

Cons: Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Gleichzeitig wünschen wir uns, dass nicht nur Wert auf Sauberkeit, sondern auch auf Instandhaltung der Räumlichkeiten gelegt wird. So finden sich in den Fluren und Zimmern bereits mehrere Schrammen und Macken, die für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel nicht üblich sind. Gerne kommen wir beim nächsten Besuch in Bangkok wieder zurück.

Cons: Vi bookede Ascott da vi var nået til et stadie af vores ferie, hvor vi skulle vaske tøj, så vi bookede et værelse og opgraderede til executive apartment ved ankomst. Lige da vi kom spurgte vi efter tørrestativ 3 gange - endte med at gå ned til receptionen da der ikke skete noget i 30 min. På første værelse lækkede vaskemaskinen så vi skiftede værelse kl. 12 om aftenen... meget uheldigt, men det andet værelse vi så fik havde samme problem. Vi blev så refunderet for opgraderingen og fik et endnu bedre værelse - godt håndteret af personalet. MEN vaskemaskinen på det 3.værelse lækkede også vand..... Der er ikke noget galt med maskinerne, det må være afløbet der ikke kan tage vandet også kaster maskinen det ud på gulvet. Og nej der var ikke for meget tøj i maskinen, alle gangene har der været 2-3 stk. Tøj i. Udover dette var der kø ved morgenmaden og vi fik plastikbestik. Undskyld men hvilket 5 stjernet hotel serverer plastik bestik?! Der var også et barn der stod på pillede ved frugten med sine hænder og ingen sagde noget til det. Vi har været på mange hoteller i Bangkok og Ascott lever altså ikke op til sine 5 stjerne ud fra vores oplevelse.... tag hellere Hyatt Regency eller Carlton. Vi anmodede om at få pengene retur for den første nat grundet al besværet, men det ville øverste ledelse ikke gå med til. Vi kommer desværre ikke igen.

Cons: The problem was the sound. The building quality wasn’t great and soundproofing was poor so I could hear the neighbor’s talking distinctly in the bathroom and near the partition wall. The staffs were kind enough to offer relocation promptly but the building itself is built poorly so no obvious solution to that. Also rain was leaking through curtain walls when it was raining outside. But hotel staffs and facilities are amazing.

Cons: ローケーションは部屋によっては隣の高層ビルが正面にあってよくない部屋もある。ロビーが狭く、チェックイン、チェックアウト時、団体客と一緒になると座る場所もない。朝食はまあまあ充実しており、美味しいがスプーン、フォークがくすんでいて高級感はない。他の5つ星ホテルよりはあまりよくない。アスコット系のホテルは粗粗キッチンがついていると思っていたが最近できたホテルはない部屋も多く、予約時によく確認する必要がある。値段の割にはあまり満足のいく宿泊ではなかった。ホテル名は出さないがプロンポン、トンロー周辺の5つ星ホテルの方が安くて良いところがある。全体的にアスコット系ホテルは手を広げ過ぎ感があり、特にアスコットホテルは最上ホテルの部類に入るかと思うが他の5つ星ホテルに比べると質が落ちる。宿泊費に似合った質の改善をして欲しい。

The property was very modern with a gorgeous spacious lobby area - staff couldn’t have been more welcome or friendlier but the same could be said for Thai people in general - we had a fantastic time in Bangkok and coming back to the hotel after being in the city heat was perfect - the views on the 35th floor with all the sky scrappers was a highlight and the pool was also really special.

Je suis arrivée à 3 h du matin après un vol de 15 heures avec des retards et 2 heures d'attente à la police des frontières. J'étais vraiment épuisée. Pourtant, la personne à l'accueil m'a réveillée à 11 h 50 pour faire le check-out alors que je lui avais dit la veille que je resterais pour le reste de mon séjour. J'étais trop fatiguée pour valider ma réservation en ligne. Elle m'a appelé trois fois à ce sujet alors qu'elle aurait pu, par égard pour mon état, me laisser me reposer jusqu'à 14 h ou 15 h. En outre, les femmes de chambre évitent de claquer les portes et de parler moins fort dans les couloirs.

1: facilities - gym, ice bath, kid's play room, a lounge where you can work that has free water, coffee and tea besides the bar with paid drinks 2: room (studio executive for me) - fully stocked kitchen (besides the usual plates, cups and cutlary (which also include chopsticks, cutting knives, ladle and more) there are a can opener, wine bottle opener, 3 size bowls, frying pan, cooking pot, a toaster, kettle, coffee machine), comfortable bed, bath and shower stall, washer dryer, working area, bedside lamps that have a softer light 3: activities - there are weekly activities like working out classes, yoga, arts and crafts for kids, movies for kids (shown in the kid's room), movies for adults (shown near the pool, where you can also buy popcorn for 60 baht) at no cherge, plus monthly activities like a cooking class, a trip to the planetarium, a trip to the flower market etc also at no charge (but here it's limited by numbers. you can still join if all the complimentary spots are taken, you'll just have to pay) and single activities like on international father's day (we had a mocktail making workshop at the lounge) 4: environment - besides the usual things, the water bottles are glass instead of plastic, and there are 2 trash cans on each floor. the regular one and one for COMPOST. 5: misc- train station that is a 5 minute walk, free shuttle service that runs for most of the day and goes to all the important places (supermarket, mall etc) 6: staff- i know it's their job to be friendly and smily and all, but you can feel they are genuinely happy to see you and interested in you, not as a client but as a person.

From the moment I arrived at Ascott Thong Lo Bangkok, I was impressed by the fresh and clean ambiance of the hotel lobby. The staff were consistently warm and welcoming, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere throughout my stay. A special mention goes to Jet at the guest lounge on the 11th floor—her friendly demeanor, attentiveness, and bright smile truly stood out and made my experience even more memorable. One area that could be improved is the shower design. The glass panel lacks a door, which allows water to splash out and wet the bathroom floor. Cons: As for what i didnt like at ascott and that is why i give it 8 starts and not 10bstars is the issue that they had renovation of pool at the time of our stay. Usually hotels let the customers know upfront that this is happening. While ascott didnt inform us before but rather they did at arrival! That is not appropriate, you lost a bit of my trust here. The small thing was also they forget about welcoming drink for my group.

I believe the two gentlemen who assisted us were named K. Guss and K. Bort—apologies if I got the names wrong—but their hospitality and professionalism truly stood out. The room was really spacious and functional and offered a fantastic view as we were on the 37th floor. The staff was courteous, smiling and responsive. The breakfast was served at the Kinki restaurant which also serves Japanese cuisine. Hence you should try the grilled salmon. I addition, the location is extremely well placed as it takes only five minutes to walk to the Thong Lor BTS station which few stations away from the major malls, with EmQuartier - Emporium) only one station away.

We have now stayed at the Ascott in Thonglor for a couple of times. We travel to Thailand annually for around 4-5 weeks and stay there for the first and the last week of our trip. The people are really what make the difference, the staff, there are probably other establishment that can compare with the Ascott’s high level of service, luxury amenities, scrumptious meals, super-clean facilities and great location, but not many can compare with their absolute dedicated, friendly and professional staff. People are the reason businesses are successful or not, and in this case it is obviously the case. Best hotel in my view in Bangkok by far!

Room Perfection! 10 of 10 If the rating were solely based on the rooms, this hotel would receive the highest possible score! The design, size, amenities, comfort, and cleanliness all deserve full marks. The room size is perfectly adequate, featuring a comfortable sofa and a study desk. You'll find a 55-inch smart TV with the YouTube app, a capsule espresso machine, an electric kettle, an iron, and more. The bathroom is well-equipped with both a shower and a bathtub, and the toilet includes a bidet system and a hose. The room's lighting is excellent, whether from the windows or the lamps. Everything about the room gets a perfect score! This is absolutely a five star hotel.

Cons: Facilities and Common Areas: A Major Letdown However, the biggest downside of this hotel lies in its facilities and common areas. The lobby is small relative to the number of rooms, and the elevators are insufficient for the number of floors and guests. The restaurant is incredibly small with a terrible variety. Room service is truly a disaster, offering extremely limited options. The breakfast area is tiny, with poor quality and very limited choices. The hotel only has one very small restaurant, and it's Japanese!!! This means a five-star international hotel, in an international city, only provides Japanese food and a Japanese breakfast for its guests, which is a major flaw. The lounge area and its service are even worse than the restaurant. Imagine staying in a five-star hotel, wanting to relax in your room and order room service, only to find virtually no options beyond a few Japanese dishes! No salads, no fruits, no vegetables, not even chicken! Imagine not being able to order poached eggs for breakfast at a five-star hotel! You'd probably only encounter such a dreadful breakfast and dining experience in a local Japanese hotel, in the heart of a remote Japanese town with no non-Japanese travelers. So, based on the rooms, this hotel is definitely five-star and gets a 10 out of 10. Cons: The Japanese restaurant on the ground floor, which provides breakfast for the hotel, was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I experienced severe food poisoning after eating there, which required hospitalization in Bangkok. The doctor had to administer two injections to manage the pain, or I might have missed my flight. I am certain the food poisoning came from this restaurant, as I did not eat outside the hotel, and the intense stomach cramps began roughly two hours after breakfast. This was a deeply distressing experience. Will never stay there again.
