Our stay at Tigmiza was absolutely exceptional. The entire property is stunning — everything is extremely well maintained, spotlessly clean, and constantly being cared for. There is always someone from the staff making sure that every detail is perfect. The food was magnificent, truly impressive in both quality and variety. The staff here is extraordinary — we enjoyed a high level of personal attention throughout our whole stay. They were incredibly kind and made us feel completely at home, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism. This hotel exceeded every expectation and delivered one of the best stays we have ever had. It sets a new standard for hospitality and excellence. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

We had an AMAZING stay at this hotel. The heated pool plus two other pools were an amazing place to relax. We had great massages in their spa and the suite was spacious. The whole place is tasteful and we had an exceptionally warm welcome, one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. If I was being picky I’d say that the food options are limited if you have a child, as you can only order room service at the weird times we eat (dinner at 6pm). There was also an Arabian night on the rooftop bar our last last. It sounds absolutely amazing but again as we had a child we were in bed early and the loud noise kept us up until 11pm. Overall though, we would highly recommend this hotel and would come back again, next time we’d attend the Arabian night and deal with a grouchy child the next day instead of missing it!

Dommage

The 2 pools are really nice, one exposed to the sun , the other one under a lot ofplantain trees. , but heated. The kids enjoyed that one. The breakfast was good, could have used more different fruits. The room was not ok , it was an old structure, very rumorous and dark , get little sun and I had construction oven my roof all day. The bathroom is in the other side of the room, wich is spacious, so you have to walk across the living room at night.

Cons: The room is an old room , smelled not fresh. The shower is an old shower same as the floor. I asked for an exchange of room, I was told it could be done, and then nobody followed up with it.. by the time I knew there was all booked .

The pool was lovely and peaceful. And I loved the way it was surrounded by beautiful trees. The reception and bar staff were very polite and attentive as were the ladies we met in the corridors who cleaned the rooms. Free shuttle bus was a great addition

Cons: The pool staff were hard to pin down if you wanted to order. The shuttle bus was great but would have been amazing if it had run through to the evening or just a little more often as the hotel really was in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast was just about okay. Not the greatest selection of food. However, the coffee and orange juice were excellent.

The garden, swimming pools and nature are simply amazing. The sauna is good value for money and the staff at the SPA is very kind despite not speaking English. Also good idea to have a shuttle to the city center.

Cons: Given the amount you spend for the night here, I would expect some services to be included like free access to yoga studio/classes or water from the minibar. Not all the staff speak English. The food is good but again considering the prices slightly underwhelming.

Had some concerns about the fact that it is 20 min outside the center but after arriving I can only say that this is definitely not a problem. It’s such amazing boutique hotel and you really need the tranquility offered when back from the city. After all you only go once in the morning and once in the evening to the center. Shuttle bus is available but a taxi is not more than 100 MAD. The rooms and public areas are spotless, the one bedroom villa is huge and definitely worth the spending. It has been a great stay!

My wife and I recently stayed at Tigmiza for a joint birthday celebration, booking a private pool villa. The property is tranquil and well-maintained, located conveniently just outside the walls of the Marrakesh Medina. The hotel's limited capacity fosters an exclusive and personal atmosphere. This intimate scale effectively highlights the property's grounds and architecture. The service was of a high standard; upon arrival, our villa was prepared with flowers and champagne for the occasion. The staff were consistently attentive yet unobtrusive throughout our stay. A significant advantage of Tigmiza is its location. Situated outside the city, it offers a quiet environment away from the high activity of the Medina, while its proximity allows for convenient access to the city's attractions. This provides a desirable balance for travelers. I would recommend Tigmiza to adult travelers seeking high-end accommodations that offer both a peaceful setting and convenient city access. It was a suitable and impressive venue for our celebration.

Property exceeded expectations! The staff was very helpful and kind, our room was clean, the facilities were good, and the entire ambiance was lovely and relaxing. I also had a massage at the spa, which was very good!

Cons: Not a big issue, but the food was quite slow when we ordered lunch at the pool bar - we were the only ones there and ordered two burgers, yet we waited at least an hour for our food. I noticed the same thing happening every day at the pool bar of another hotel we stayed in in Marrakech, not sure if this is a coincidence or some kind of intentional practice in the area.

Tigmiza is the most beautiful oasis of calm and tranquility, outside the madness of the Medina. The hotel offers a free shuttle service (about 20 mins) several times a day. Absolutely perfect!! From the moment we were picked up at the airport, we were treated like ‘royalty’. Nothing was too much trouble and I have add, that we were totally blown away by the service we were greeted with, by every single member of staff. A special mention must go to Lamia, the Concierge, who was absolutely brilliant. The holiday was a special birthday celebration for my husband, and upon arrival we were upgraded to the most amazing two bedroom, duplex pool villa with a private garden. Stunning!!! I’m Coeliac, but this was absolutely not an issue. Lamia ensured that the chefs and waiters were aware of the fact that I couldn’t eat gluten. I was presented with home made, freshly baked gluten free bread, at every meal. At breakfast, I was also presented with a plate of gluten free pastries. We ate in the hotel’s Moroccan restaurant, on our first night, which was brilliant. But, the ‘icing on the cake’ was the gluten free birthday cake, made for my husband. It was fabulous! Lamia also booked all of our restaurants, in the Medina and made sure they were aware that I can’t eat gluten. (Not massively easy in Marrakech) The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and lovely to come back to after a full morning in the Medina. Lunch at the pool restaurant was my favourite time of day! And, a special shout out to our wonderful waiter, who really looked after us. Thank you to all of the staff at the hotel! You, more than anything else, help to make this one of the best hotels, we have travelled to, anywhere in the World. (And, there’s been a few over the years).

We loved every thing about the hotel! It ranks right up there with one of the best, we have stayed in, around the world. It’s an oasis of calm and tranquility. The hotel is beautiful and set in beautiful grounds, but it’s the staff that really sets the bar! Every member of staff goes out of their way to be helpful and considerate. Awesome training! But, a special mention must go to Lamia, the concierge. She helped to make a birthday trip even more special! Just can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us. (And, we loved our upgrade. The villa was stunning)! Finally, as a Coeliac and therefore strictly gluten free, this hotel was amazing! I was made gluten free bread at every meal and at breakfast, I was served a plate of gluten free pastries. Lunch at the pool restaurant, every afternoon was excellent! (A special mention to our waiter, who really looked after us well). But, the highlight, was our meal in the hotel’s Moroccan restaurant on our first night. We pre-ordered the Chef’s special Roast Lamb. It was incredible. But, the ‘icing on the cake’ was the gluten free birthday cake, made by the chef for my husband. We both said it was one of the best desserts, either of us had had. Gluten free or otherwise! Definitely the best meal of the trip, by far.

Cons: Nothing!

A courtesy shuttle bus is available to the souk a few times a day plus the concierge can organize private tours if desired. They also have very good restaurants, with a mix of Moroccan and international dishes available. Overall, we had a memorable and pleasant stay.

Absolutely stunning. The staff very attentive and around for anything and everything you need for your stay. The villa with pool is a must. 2 levels with lots of unique & traditional furnishings, huge bathroom, lounge area and lots of outside space for your own time relaxing. You must visit the spa for massage or treatment, perhaps 1 of the best we’ve had , and we’ve had many… Ask for Khadya she knows her stuff, we just wished we had planned better to have 1 each day… The whole village is stunning, a real oasis away from the busy centre with beautiful gardens. Simply stunning 😊

Cons: Small things which didn’t impact our stay at all. Cleaning could have been better in the pool and cleaning away room service quicker than the next day. A cocktail we had once didn’t taste how it should and we were charged for 2 beers from the mini bar which were never there ( this was rectified immediately at check out)

A really special hotel. Peaceful. Beautiful interiors and gardens which felt authentically Moroccan. Very good breakfast and dinners in both the local and international restaurants. 3 principal pools and our own small pool for our capacious 2 bedroom villa. Lovely staff. All so warm and welcoming! Special mentions to the concierge Lamia and Hayat in the Spa. Both a credit to Tigmiza.

The grounds are lush and tranquil, and the design of the rooms and villas is full of character and charm. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the food—especially breakfast—was consistently fresh and well-prepared. We just stayed at the hotel, so can't say much for the location related to the rest of Marrakech, but the place was beautiful, the dinner was lovely, and the staff were amazing. 10/10 all the way.

The hotel is beautiful, nicely curated and nicely kept, the gardens and pool areas are quiet and pleasant and the artwork on the walls outstanding. The stuff is incredibly helpful and polite. Overall we had a really lovely time, I’d definitely recommend it.

Cons: Our room was a bit tired, very spacious but the decor and bathroom looked a bit tired and could really do with a freshen up. We had dinner twice and the first night was very good, the second time the food didn’t feel as fresh, and we both had stomach issues. A few more transfers to the Medina throughout the day would add more value to the whole offering.

Just a lovely, lovely hotel. You can pretend to be royalty for a few days. The staff are super courteous and nothing is too much trouble for them. The grounds and swimming pools are a delight and the bedrooms sumptuous. The two restaurants serve a great selection of food in terrific ambience and lunch by the pool was also great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only downside is the £20 each way into, and back from town by taxi if the free shuttle timings don’t suit you. As everywhere in Morocco, tipping ensures great service and is very gratefully received. The exchange rates in Morocco are 30- 40% better than in the UK, so only change a small amount here.

The hotel and facilities were amazing. A beautiful oasis just half an hour outside the hectic Medina. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. We had a private villa and it felt like heaven. The food was excellent and a great variety. The private cinema that you could book out was also a wonderful experience.

Cons: Everything was fantastic. My only criticism would be to have more non alcohol options on the drinks menu (eg alcohol free beers). As a pregnant person my choices were quite limited.

Pretty much everything Beautiful grounds Great staff for the most part Excellent restaurants

Cons: The only negative aspect of our 3 night weekend stay at Tigmiza was one staff member on the front desk with whom we had multiple negative experiences - I am genuinely amazed to find this person in any kind of customer contact position - particularly in a 5 star property Card issue - on arrival having organised payment for the majority of our stay prior to arrival there was q balance of 600 euros to pay - unfortunately there was a card issue - these things happen so no biggie - However what we were met with was a total lack of empathy / discretion - ability to problem solve and a borderline rude comment that we would not be able to put anything on the room but would have to pay in cash for each and every transaction - announced to us ( and the guests waiting behind us ) - a truly embarrassing and unnecessarily stressful beginning to our stay - how about we just leave a cash deposit at reception as is the norm when this sort of thing happens ?!? This would have been easier all round Restaurant reservation issue I’d organized 2 dinners at the hotel with the concierge - one for arrival night and one for our last night - all confirmed via email prior to arrival As we headed to the restaurant for dinner ( about an hour after check in ) we were stopped outside the entrance by the same staff member telling us we had no reservations for either that night or our final night altho she did have a booking for the evening of our departure day - bearing in mind that our departure was 10 am for a noon flight why would we make a booking for ten hours after our departure - I wrote to the concierge / reception the same evening with screenshots of the bookings and received apologies the following morning from the Concierge stating that her colleague was “ confused “ I can understand losing or not seeing a reservation but how do you come up with a booking that never actually existed ?!?

An exquisite hotel which far exceeded our expectations (the website photos don't do it justice). It felt like an oasis of calm with beautiful seating areas around the grounds. We had a villa with private pool to share between 4 friends. It was spacious and quiet. Staff were all so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. We also had wonderful hamaam experience and enjoyed the daily yoga classes. The free minibus shuttle into Marrakech was perfect to pop in for a few hours in the day or evening. The evening restaurant food was the only let down as everything else was so fabulous we were expecting it to be excellent, but the ambience in the Moroccan restaurant, with music playing was lovely.

Great hotel and the gardens are stunning. The service is really good and the staff are always willing to help. We had an absolutely perfect 5-day stay at Tigmiza Boutique & Spa. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the peaceful and tranquil surroundings—an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. We stayed in a beautifully decorated one-bedroom villa with a private pool, which was spotlessly clean and offered the perfect balance of luxury and privacy. Housekeeping was consistently excellent, with attention to detail that really made us feel cared for. A special mention must go to Aissam, one of the waiters, whose service was truly exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and made every meal a delight with his warm hospitality. Tigmiza exceeded all our expectations—gorgeous setting, outstanding service, and a real sense of calm. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene, luxurious getaway in Marrakesh. Perfect in every way.

We had a duplex suite and it was lovely to have so much space. There was an espresso coffee machine and pods were topped up at no charge. A bottle of water was left daily, and in the gym you could top up water bottles. The beds were comfortable and pillows to suit everyone's preferences. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and eggs cooked to order. We ate in both restaurants and although not large portions, the food was beautifully presented and tasty. The hotel is slightly out in the sticks with nowhere to go on foot but the complimentary shuttle bus into Marrakech is available a few times a day. A great hotel to relax in with 3 pools - one heated! Well kept grounds. We enjoyed the cinema room with a private viewing and popcorn was provided!! The staff could not have been more delightful and so welcoming.

Hotel rooms and pool areas beautiful. Each room is decorated uniquely and wonderful individual touches. Very comfortable. Gardens lovely and lush.

Cons: Restaurant food was pretty bland in comparison to our food experiences in Marrakech, very limited menu choices. Lack of a small shop on site to buy water, drinks or snacks without needing to use a restaurant or mini bar prices would be expected in a hotel which is pretty isolated. 10% service charge on EVERYTHING … including a massage … surely the massage is the service without additional charge

During our stay we loved everything and every detail: beautiful , spacious suites; relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space throughout the hotel. Lot of tastefully decorated cosy corners, 3 outdoor swimming pools and it never felt crowded eventhough hotel was fully booked. The staff are friendly and helpful, nothing was too much to ask for. Food is really good in all 3 restaurants and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our Family massage at Spa , as well as private cinema experience . Hotel is located outside of the city , but only 25 mins ride away from the Medina / Hivernage areas . We liked being able to retreat to the tranquil area of the hotel after experiencing vibrant energy of Souk. The place is even more beautiful than on the pictures and we will definitely come back. Cons: Not particularly welcoming, the room was in need of a refurbish, all looking a little tried. Staff all disappeared for a staff party whilst we were there so not possible to have a drink before dinner, people were waiting to get into dining room for a dinner that was booked but it was not open !. When we left we asked for a couple of bottles of water for the 3 hour journey but we had to buy it! All the other places we stayed always gave us water for the journey. I liked the fact that some of the staff appeared to be friendly. Although they would stare a lot which can be uncomfortable, some went out their way to provide a good service I.e concierge taking luggage and restaurant staff bringing food up to our room if requested. -Cleaners came twice a day and did a decent job -Pool outside looked good

Cons: -The location, was 20-30 mins from all the activities or restaurants we had booked -Missed our flight therefore arrived a day late, the hotel as a gesture a goodwill could have offered to just refund one night but they just gave us the credit instead -We were never told we had to book a shuttle in advance. Eventually they allowed us to use the shuttle but the driver was reluctant on taking us and this could be seen on his face, he was very cold -Providing only one bottle of complementary water between two adults is unacceptable. When you go to 5* hotels at least 4+ bottles are provided everyday. If we wanted more bottles, we had to pay approx £8+ which is abusive considering the hot weather conditions. When we expressed to the staff and management, we were told that what they are doing is normal and the manager has worked in hospitality for over 14 years. Experience in hospitality has nothing to do with providing good service, at least 2 bottles should’ve been provided as a gesture of goodwill especially considering they have allowed that for other guests (reading some of their responses to the negative reviews) -The shower was probably the worst issue which makes me want to give this a minus 1* rating. When we used our shower daily, the shower drain was so blocked it would flood our bathroom and room. We would have to use loads of towels to ensure our property doesn’t get damaged. When we called maintenance, I asked if this happened before and the guy chuckled and said yes it has meaning they are fully aware of the issue in the room and have refused to get it fixed. -Breakfast and lunch was not good. Lunch menu was limited, food was not reflective of a 5* hotel The shower pressure was so high that it would be the perfect pressure if you wanted to wash your car. Shuttles were only offered twice a day at 10am or 5:30pm. Most 5* offer more shuttle services more frequently, rather than fixed schedules. Meaning we had to spend a lot on taxi fares.

Fantastic breakfast included, excellent international restaurant, great pool bar/restaurant and fun traditional Moroccan dinner and evening. We had a wonderfull week at the Tigmiza Boutique Resort! We are here for the 4rd time, and it gets better every year! This is mainly thanks to a very dedicated team. The service is very professional but at the same time the staff so friendly - simply you just feel in a better version of your home! So the typical day at Tigmiza would start with Marrakeh’s best Omlette from Chef Tariq and a tasty local pancake from Ghislaine. Then our super concierge - Lamia - would organize a trip to a hidden gem in the medina and reserve a fabulous rooftop. Back at the hotel we would have a snack at the pool bar professionally attended by Azzize&Aziz. Then we would get a traditional Hamman massage by skilled Hayat. We would finish the day with a magnificient dinner by Abdullah & Hamid, which always manage to surprise us with original events. We also thank Abdelrahim and his crew for taking care of the room and the luggage.

I am very sad to have to write a bad review for this property as the villa and hotel itself was spectacular. We asked for a late checkout on the day of departure. I checked online on booking.com and the room was still available. They refused to give us a late check out saying the room was not available. I explained that I could see the room online. Suddenly the room availability online suspiciously vanished, as I was on the phone to reception!!!. Any other 5 star hotel would facilitate this for a late checkout fee. I am extremely disappointed. Especially as we had two lunches, dinner and spa treatments.

Cons: As above I am extremely disappointed with the service.

The pool area was lovely, with three pools but only one heated. It was a relaxing place to spend the day. The staff were very friendly and changed bedding from feathers to synthetic on request. Rooms were serviced regularly and clean. Breakfast was extensive and we enjoyed the omelette station. The shuttle bus into town and back was useful.

Cons: Our room was a little dated and areas of the property looked tired and worn, in need of a refresh. The restaurants were disappointing - expensive and not as publicised in the photos, so we ate out regularly. The roof terrace bar was closed (during high season - October half term) and the furniture was dated and worn.

Hotel itself was nice, we had a villa, separate from the hotel, and the villa was big. Downstairs was a nice spacious lounge, plus loo and separate shower room. Upstairs was a spacious bedroom and bathroom with a nice verandah. Outside was a private garden and pool, with orange and pomegranate trees. The grounds and hotel were nice, and not overly busy. The staff were very pleasant.

Cons: Food in the restaurants was bland - which was dissappointing for Moroccan food! Pool bar restaurants served better food. Also, the hotel decided to close one of the restaurants, which meant that suddenly there wasn't actually enough seating for all the residents, which, bearing in mind the hotel is miles from the city, is not good. Was told at 7:30 they may be able to fit me in at 9 ! Complained, and lo and behold a table was found! Housekeeping was woeful and just didn't replace anything we'd used! Kept asking reception, who said they'd send housekeeping, and they most of the time didn't show. Or, they did bring some items but not the rest. This wasn't just once, it was every day! This really spoiled it, as this was supposed to be 5*.

Fantastic spot for a relaxing getaway. the rooms are beautifully designed, and the private pools make it feel extra special.

Cons: Unfortunately, our stay was quite uncomfortable due to the large number of mosquitoes (dozens) in the room all days. We specifically chose this hotel for its spa, but the experience was far below our expectations. Some therapists seemed inexperienced, and the treatments lacked the expertise and relaxation we anticipated. Additionally, the spa staff wasn’t always friendly, making us feel unwelcome. We usually spend a lot on spa services, but after 2 or 3 treatments, we gave up and went to the city to find alternatives. Nevertheless it’s fair to say that the rest of the hotel staff was very friendly and attentive, which made other aspects of our stay more enjoyable.

My new husband and I chose Tigmiza Boutique hotel for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed at all!! It was the absolute perfect destination for us, the staff in the hotel were all so friendly and welcoming, the hotel itself is truly beautiful with it's many areas to relax and enjoy and the villa we had was amazing! There are three insta worthy communal swimming pools and two restaurants. We chose to stay in a 1 bed villa with a pool, it was incredibly spacious and the Moroccan style decor was beautiful. Our recent stay at Tigmiza Boutique Hotel & Spa in July for our 10-year anniversary was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the charm and tranquillity of this hidden gem. Tigmiza has become our secret paradise escape, giving us unforgettable moments that we'll cherish forever. The staff was exceptionally warm and attentive, ensuring every detail of our stay was flawless. Their genuine hospitality made us feel like honoured guests from start to finish. The hotel itself exudes luxury and elegance, blending traditional Moroccan architecture with modern comforts seamlessly. Our room was out of this world. Spacious and beautifully created, offering a luxurious escape from the heat that added to the romantic ambiance. The highlight of our days was lounging by the stunning pool area, surrounded by lush gardens and enjoying impeccable service that surpassed all expectations. In fact, every experience was a delight! Tigmiza Boutique Hotel & Spa exceeded our wildest dreams for an anniversary getaway. It has truly become our special place, and we are already planning our next visit. If you're seeking a magical retreat where luxury meets authenticity, look no further than Tigmiza.

The pools and grounds are stunning, beautiful spa and yoga studio, the breakfast options are excellent and the staff are very friendly and attentive. As a place to escape the madness of the medina it is perfect and not too far to travel into town if you want a bit of a buzzier night life.

Cons: I didn't like the rooms at all. We had two suites and neither were particularly inviting. Thankfully they were just a place to sleep in as all we wanted to do was spend time round the pools. The main restaurant for dinner wasn't great, despite a live musician the layout doesn't lend itself to much atmosphere and the food was not particularly impressive.

This hotel is top-tier. From the moment you step into Tigmiza Boutique Hotel & Spa, you know you’ve arrived somewhere special. The decor is cozy, homely, and elegant. Located 16 km (20 minutes) from Marrakesh, its distance from the city's noise and hustle was precisely why we chose it. A free shuttle runs several times a day to and from Marrakesh city center. The hotel has 28 rooms, and we chose a spacious suite of over 80 square meters, which we did not regret. Every staff member, from the cleaners to the waiters and receptionists, aims to provide the best possible holiday experience. The two kitchens prepare the finest local and international dishes of the highest quality. Everything here, from the wines to the meals, is relatively expensive. However, no compromises are made. The Spa area is particularly pricey, so we decided against using it. Adjusting prices in the bar (four times higher than in the city), the yoga center, or the Spa could attract more guests to these services. The hotel boasts a cinema where you can book a free movie screening with drinks and popcorn. Although there is a small playground, the place isn’t suitable for children, and all three swimming pools are relatively deep. Even though children are welcome, this location is primarily chosen by those traveling without kids. Being far from the city, it might not appeal to young people. The breakfast is fantastic, offering a large selection of both international and Moroccan dishes. In the evening, restaurant Lallati features local entertainment that provides an enchanting 1001-night atmosphere. Additionally, the internet worked flawlessly throughout the hotel. The sunbeds were excellent, with thick mattresses and fresh towels. We highly recommend this hotel to adults willing to pay extra for quality.

Cons: In my opinion, the prices of drinks and food were a bit too expensive. We paid 10 Moroccan dirhams for a cola at a restaurant in the city while they cost 40 in the minibar at the hotel.

An oasis of calm and relaxation, we loved every second of our stay. Nothing is too much trouble and the room - Le Brute - was a haven. The Hotel was an overall great experience in Marrakech. We had chosen this hotel as the last part of our Marrakech vacation to recover and relax before flying back home. The food, gardens and pools were great and came with a spacious room. The Staff is very friendly and we can definitely recommend this hotel to relax. Please note that this hotel is a bit outside in Marrakech but offers shuttles if you want to go to the city.

Cons: Even though the staff was friendly. We had some trouble with booking a transfer as the person responsible for their messages didn't reply several days and on the morning of arrival wrote that he is not responsible and we should send an email to another address which was far too late. I would have expected more from the hotel as this was our first impression of the hotel. Our room was spacious but also in need of repairs as the wall has huge cracks. For us personally, we didn't like the room theme of "English" as it looked for us very oldish and not that attractive to rest. Other rooms seem to be looking much better and modern. Another missing addition would be a curtain or something in the bathroom as people can see in our bathroom from the outside path in the hotel.

Wonderful hotel, excellent facilities, restaurants and decor. The majority of the staff were fantastic. However, I was ripped off by a receptionist who charged me €300 for a 1-way private taxi to Taghazout. The return to Marrakesh was €100, same private taxi. Completely unjustified to charge so much and was a real shame. You're a 5* hotel and in the hospitality industry, not in a souk trying to fleece an unassuming tourist.

The hotel looks absolutely stunning and boutique-y, great facilities and the private pool is a great perk (albeit a bit cold). We stayed in a villa and the size is very generous. The bars, restaurants and atmosphere were spot on. Incredible swimming pools, particularly the heated one. The food was pretty good and we enjoyed the hot counter in the breakfast bar. The eggs particularly nice. For the most part the staff were good. We had amazing room service. You've got to try the Hammam and massage. The hotel didn't feel busy at all.

Cons: Our room had a subtle toilet smell. We raised it at least three times before they did something about it. Eventually we asked for an air freshener. There is a really convenient free shuttle bus, however the trips are few and far between. It doesn't give you freedom to leave the hotel (two trips each way). We had to pay for a few taxis, which we thought it was weird and at a higher rate than we got in a street. Food menus weren't very varied. Some staff didn't have great English, which caused a bit of confusion at times. These are minor issues but inconvenient nonetheless and hope they help improve the already amazing experience.

Cons: Just little things that I’m only saying because we are used to 5* resorts - they in no way would put me off going back to Tigmiza. 1. The gym is just a small space with three pieces of equipment - totally fine but I booked the hotel needing a gym and I couldnt go as it held about 4 people and was always busy. 2. Comfier sunloungers are needed 3. Also think the bar staff should visit people around the pool to take orders more often. Again, v little things but just flagging these

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Tigmiza; all of the the staff were so welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everyone took great pride in their work. The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated, with lovely indoor and outdoor seating areas. The weather wasn't great, so the roof terrace was sadly not open, but we were well looked after in the English Bar and the Pool Bar. We stayed in a two-bedroom villa with our three teenagers; it was a great size for us, and we loved the outdoor seating area and the private pool. The Concierge was very helpful in booking restaurants in town and arranging transfers - it is only 15-20 minutes to town. This is a stunningly beautiful hotel. The furnishings are of the highest quality and the interior design is flawless. We took a one bed villa with private pool for 3 nights. Unfortunately the pool was cloudy, but the hotel upgraded us to the royal villa which more than compensated for the inconvenience. The staff were understanding and enabled us to stay somewhere we could never have afforded! The Royal Villa is vast and beautifully appointed. The pool is ice cold and very refreshing on a hot day. We lushed in luxury!

Cons: Unfortunately there was a city wide water outage during our stay. No running water for three days. The hotel told us this was the first time this had ever happened. There seemed little emergency planning as the staff seemed at a loss what to do. The hotel clearly had no reserve water system either, but I hope they install one following this issue - global warming is creating water problems throughout Africa, and a hotel of this stature needs to be prepared for a recurrence of this problem. Dinner was disappointing and average. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

The resort is very calm, staff are exceptionally well trained so one starts to relax from the first moment of arriving. The breakfast was exceptional, great variety to suit all tastes. I would highly recommend this resort.

Cons: Really nothing to not like. An excellent resort.

Good location Friendly staff Nice pools

Cons: The hotel provided you with only 3 free coffee pods during your stay. You had to pay for any extra ones, which I thought was a poor show for such a smart hotel! It was certainly not the case in our previous hotel! Furthermore, the addition of a kettle in the room would have been most useful to allow one to have an early morning cup of tea! The breakfast room needs updating. Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Cons: The room (English Room) was absolutely awful. The worst hotel room Iv stayed in. The decor for a 5 star hotel is horrendous. The bathroom flooded twice, the tiles are purple and bright green! There’s no wonder they don’t put it on their website. On the day of check out, the cleaner just walked in to our room at 8am waking us up. Why? When we were checking out at 10am. The pool areas are the only nice part of this hotel.

This hotel is beautiful and what makes it extra special are the people. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. All the staff are like a friendly family and this is evident to see. Lamia the concierge is the best we have ever had. Her attention to detail is impeccable. All our tours were preplanned by Lamia perfectly. Miriam was always on hand to ensure we had everything we needed and Assim at breakfast brilliant. You should also book a cookery course with the hotel chef. Apart from great fun and a wealth of knowledge the meal we cooked we ate on our terrace whilst the sunset. So many little things make this hotel from the private cinema you can book to the three pools , beautiful gardens and restaurants. We had a pool villa. It was perfect and came with a heated pool. Can’t recommend enough.

The property has a rustic desert like vibe to it.

Cons: We booked the villa with a private pool. The room is old, the toiletries are cheap but what’s worse is that the room was full of insects, mosquitoes and flies that kept us up all night. The staff had no remedy to offer. Our holiday was tarnished with this memory. We demanded a refund as we wanted to cancel the remaining days but it wasn’t an option. We were upgraded to the royal suite which was huge but very old with a weird stench like it wasn’t ventilated for months. Alot of things didn’t work properly in the suite and fixing it took forever. Breakfast was extremely average. The whole hotel needs a facelift and more considerate staff.

a very restful hotel with excellent facilities, 3 very nice pools including one heated which was a huge bonus We had a split level suite which was spacious and comfortable - only complain was that the sink drain was broken - shower excellent and good sized bath Breakfast the best we had in Morocco (18 day trip) The poolside cafe produced the best food in the hotel with the most varied of menus - very charming staff Ford in the international restaurant was of a high standard though teh menu was rather limited and in the 3 nights we stayed the duck was never available - a minor complaint but with a limited menu the restriction on choice of unavailability shouldn't happen in this standard of hotel

A beautiful boutique hotel with a very warm and friendly team of staff. The pool was excellent, the suite is very nice and well appointed - the mattress is very good. The hotel is stunning with the most amazing decor. The swimming pools and landscaped gardens are also lovely. Our suite was beautiful and each suite within the hotel have a different theme. Our room was a good size with a lovely bathroom. Nice and quiet with a comfy bed, good black outs and effective quiet aircon. The treatments in the Spa were excellent. The cinema room is a nice touch. The concierge was very helpful and recommended restaurants and arranged taxis for us.

Cons: There was no bed service for food and drinks around the pools even though the pool bar had staff available who did not seem busy most of the time. There were not enough pool towels available, so we often had to wait for them and the pool beds did not have cushions so not very comfy. The menu at the pool and the room service menu are very limited.

We booked one of the villas with private pool and it was absolutely stunning, easily the best room we've ever stayed in. The hotel has three public swimming pools, all very fancy, a private cinema which you can book a film in and a spa. It's around 25 mins taxi from the main market in a really lovely quiet location. If you are doing a sunset hot air balloon trip it's very close to this hotel as is quad biking, both were only ~20-30 mins drive away. Trips up to the Atlas mountains are ~1.5hrs away by car. The staff are all amazing and fluent in French/English etc. They organised taxis for us for various trips and were always very helpful. As I write this we are stranded in Marrakech, due to UK air traffic control having a software failure and all flights being cancelled. The hotel have put us up in a different room and told us to treat the hotel as a second home. I thoroughly recommend this place, it's genuinely been an awesome experience.

(+) Great facilities: very nice design and interior decoration. Pleasant and very relaxing! (+) Very friendly staff - always trying to help. (+) Remote location but great if you don't like going with the tide and don't enjoy crowded places.

Cons: (-) Unlike the other villas, our garden was not maintained at all. The private pool was fine, but it's a pity we could not enjoy the garden: all the grass was dead / gone...not great for such a costly villa. (-) The food in the restaurants is average (if not below): overpriced for the quality of food being served, whether breakfast or dinner. Not worth it! Given that the location is remote, it's not a hotel where I could stay for too long given the F&B limitations. That's really a major issue. The quality and variety of the food should be really enhanced if you want people to come again. Otherwise you need to drive for 25min to find somewhere to eat. Very inconvenient! (-) Some small details make the difference if you want to aspire being a truly luxury hotel. Chasing me to the car park after check-out for 2 small bottles of water from the mini-bar taken inadvertently makes you leave with a bitter feeling. I left them 2 large bottles of water (on me!!) to replace the small ones. In luxury hotels, I am used to staff giving you free bottles of water when you're about to hit the road and that's a very nice attention. Moreover, upon checking, I have instructed them to remove the alcohol from the mini-bar. After check-out, the guy who chased me to the car park asked me for payment of beers taken from the mini-bar, while I just asked for those to be removed at check-in!!

Traditional mint tea was served on arrival which we thought was a nice touch. Our favourite was spending time at the rooftop bar in the evening.

Excellent breakfast and dinner. Beautiful large room with air-conditioning and mini bar. We loved that there was a free shuttle to the medina but we did not avail of it as we could not leave this paradise.

Cons: Our booking was cancelled by the hotel due to problems with pre-payment which caused some stress the day before our arrival and when we called, we were instructed to create a new booking online. Thankfully, there was still availability. Our wonderful experience from arrival to departure greatly outweighs this issue we had.

During my stay at a Royal suite villa in Marrakech, I experienced a level of luxury that made me feel like true royalty. From the moment I arrived, the hotel's warm and attentive hospitality enveloped me, creating an unforgettable experience. The Royal suite villa itself was a masterpiece, exuding opulence and elegance in every detail. The hotel's meticulous arrangements, including early breakfast and exquisite room service dinners, added to the regal treatment I received. This exceptional property surpassed all expectations, leaving me with the feeling of being truly pampered and esteemed. Thank you forever.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was excellent. Would definitely go back.

Our villa was enormous and beautifully decorated. The hotel is very charming, tasteful and a quiet oasis just 15 mins or so outside of Marrakesh. Taxis are very inexpensive into the city and this hotel provided us with a gentle start to the craziness and excitement of the main city. The pool areas are beautiful and the food amazing.

it’s a wonderful oasis, not to far from the center but a welcomes calm after a day in the souk. the staff are incredible and the food is great quality and value. the kids loved the breakfast in particular. we enjoyed a villa which meant we had some down time by our private pool when the kids napped. can’t recommend it more!

Cons: nothing it was perfect

What makes a great hotel is the staff. They welcome you with a smile and willing to get out of their way to fulfil any of your requirements. Highly recommended.

the room was amazingly beautiful, a villa with a small pool, a living room, an "upstairs", fantastic. The spa, magnificent, the people super nice.

Cons: I only wished I could have stayed longer.

Everything is 1st class. It is an oasis not a resort. Wonderful hospitality and very friendly, attentive staff. Mimi the cat lept us company with her young kitten.. beautiful pools, tranquil gardens and so much birdsong we felt as if we were in a nature reserve. Stayed in a villa with its own pool which was very special. What could be improved? The toiletries are not great and decaf seems to be hard to get. Thats it though. Treat yourselves, this place is a hidden gem.

Breakfast was good. As was evening meal. Location too far out for us. Very much locked into the hotel.

Cons: Lovely atmosphere until a wedding party arrived. Was completely overtaken. Swimming pool became a party area with food and drinks in the edge of the actual pool. No monitoring by staff. I felt sorry for other residents who were looking on with horror. I think if you are taking a big wedding party you need to pre warn our residents before they book. I also had a problem with the booking. My credit card that was holding the booking became out of date before we arrived. My booking was cancelled. I called the hotel and was met with an extremely rude lady in reservation who told me basically hard luck no rooms left now. Very unhelpful. We then had to book another hotel fir our last night. But with hindsight should have found somewhere else and cancelled whole booking at tigmiza.

Excellent value for money, very comfortable rooms, beautiful pools and gardens, lovely welcome with traditional tea and biscuits. Location isn't very central, around 20 to 25 mins drive from centre but free shuttle bus is offered ay certain times and reception arrange taxis when needed outside those hours. Concierge was very helpful and welcoming. Hotel is simply beautiful - exceeded my expectations based on the photos.

Cons: The hotel was so lovely but though the breakfast was good (fresh juices, omelettes, breads) it needed more variety, perhaps a different special dish per day, and the cake station looked like it was all ready made.

Was a beautiful villa with private pool. We didn't eat in the hotel for dinner because we wanted to experience Marrakech at night and soak up the resort in the daytime. It was perfect for that

Cons: We didn't realise there was a third pool ! Which by the way looked very beautiful.
