10/10 resort. Day 1 the services were outstanding. The free breakfast food was the best I’ve had at any resort, and soo many activities to do. Front desk were super helpful, answering calls and notifying us whenever a driver arrived to pick us up. And finally, the cleaners were the nicest people I’ve ever met. Room was always clean (so was the environment at the resort) . The room gave us an amazing view of the bay, and definitely worth the price. Every one of the service crew, those we just passed casually while walking daily were extremely nice always saying hi with a bow. Overall amazing experience, highly highly recommend Kalima to anyone thinking of vacationing in Phuket.

Hotel breakfast - excellent. Fresh Squeezed orange juice, perfection. 5/5 I still think about the Japanese restaurant on-site; it was that good. 5/5 Decent location. Grabs were fairly inexpensive. On-site shuttle was efficient and convenient. Housekeeping was great - I think their names were Oil & Peemai. Our villa stayed spotless, refreshed, and we were brought a nightly treat with turn down service. Rooms are a little dated, but very clean. 4/5 because of the inconsistent cooling in the room, the shower being in a semi open room with no A/C, limited snacks/drinks, complimentary alcohol provided in unsealed containers and because of the very loud animal noises (stuff I know they couldn't help but would have liked to be warned). I'm not sure if it is a bird or a lizard, but I was woken up every single night by some random animal screeching consistently. It seemed like the animal was in the vents. And, upon arrival, they had a very obvious large trap staged outside our Villa. Alarmed us at first, but then saw it removed by day 2. I would definitely stay here again, but it is just shy of a 5 star review.

We had a wonderful stay at Kalima Resort & Spa during our trip from Japan to Phuket. Choosing this hotel was truly one of the best decisions for our trip. All of the staff were very kind and welcoming, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable from beginning to end. In particular, we would like to thank a housekeeping staff member named Nue Fon, who was incredibly kind and made our stay even more special with her warm and thoughtful service every day. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of delicious dishes. Enjoying breakfast while looking out at the beautiful view was one of the highlights of our stay. The ocean view from our room was absolutely stunning and felt very luxurious. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phuket, and we would love to stay here again in the future.

We had a fantastic experience at the bar in Kalima Hotel Phuket. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was truly exceptional. A special thank you to Pang and her team, as well as Ben and the rest of the staff. They were incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Their service was attentive, professional, and always with a warm smile. They really took great care of us and made our time at the bar very enjoyable. The team created such a lovely and relaxed vibe that we kept coming back. Thank you to Pang, Ben, and the whole team for making our experience so memorable. We highly recommend the bar at Kalima Hotel to anyone visiting Phuket.

The hotel is a little distance from Patong Beach (although the hotel provides a shuttle bus). The hotel does not have its own beach. The hotel is beside a highway, and there are only a few restaurants nearby. It sounds as if this is not the best holiday hotel choice,right? But you just need to check in.Then you will find that this is a surprisingly good hotel. Because the hotel is located on the hillside, the sea view is very spectacular. The staff are all friendly and always have a smile.With a person with limited mobility the front desk team Joe Sordy and LOH took extra care of us. And lovely Ms.Noodang at breakfast restaurant was so kind to us.She not only explained everything in detail. And make sure our table is clean and the cups are full.She also took the initiative to recommend us and sent us the special dessert of the day. Then let's talk about the breakfast.Hotels in Thailand have never short of a good breakfast.But the breakfast at Kalima is unbelievable.Whether it is the variety or the quality of food.For example you may find bubble breakfast in many hotels.But Kalima take it to an other level.You can even make your own highball here.Such a good breakfast plus a good view what else could you ask for a holiday?

Horrible experience unfortunately! I found 2 cockroaches in my room, one I’ in the closet and on my clothes! Cleaning team was unprofessional, we had to follow up several times to get the room cleaned. I had reserved the room for 4 nights but after seeing the cockroaches and from the terrible experience, i cut my trip short and leave by the 3rd night. I demanded that i get refunded for it since they didn’t live up to a 5-star resort standard but my request was denied. Definitely never again.

Certainly not family friendly. Have family rooms however the lift to the floors worked 2-5 days that we were there. The kids club is unmanned and was always untidy. The staff are not friendly at all - The spa and restaurant staff in particular. The rooms are cleaned but unless you ask them they don’t vacuum. The rooms are smelly and flies everywhere! There’s no crisp feel to the rooms, very dated. Breakfast was ok. We had to carry our own high chair the table every morning, no one even offers to help. The music from the bar is ridiculously loud in the evenings which is annoying when you have children who sleep by 11pm. Don’t stay here, there are better options.

The stuff are so friendly and nice, they even remember our previous orders - they are super vigilant and observant they can read body language and quickly assist without you even mentioning what you are thinking for example we were thinking of sharing fries and they just came with two plates and said for sharing how cool (this is for both the main restaurant and the one by the pool area). The rooms are clean, I love how they have everything you might need from toothpaste and brushes to sanitary bags to earbuds so nice. Buffet in the morning is also really good I think as a suggestion the wooden chairs can have rubber by the legs because they become really loud. Thanks so much. Noodang was our waiter for lunch she is really sweet I don’t like spicy food she made sure the meal wasn’t spicy although it’s meant to be spicy so thanks for communicating with the Chef. The Bolognaise is really good so good you could have a second one ( the portion is a bit small - please use a different plate pretty please it’s so nice) other than that it’s amazing. The atmosphere is peaceful and calm, the location is amazing it’s not loud in fact it feels like you are far away but you are close to everything because once you take the shuttle to the mall you see that you are where the fun is at love that the Patong beach is close as well.

I had a wonderful stay at Kalima Resort in Thailand and truly enjoyed my time there. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a relaxing atmosphere with stunning views. The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more pleasant. The food was delicious and very diverse, with plenty of options to choose from every day. I also really appreciated the additional activities offered by the hotel, such as archery and mini golf, which were great fun. The free shuttle service to the city center was very convenient and made getting around easy. I would like to mention our housekeeper, Payfon, who did an excellent job. She was very kind, attentive, and always kept the room perfectly clean. Overall, Kalima Resort exceeded my expectations, and I would happily return in the future. Highly recommended! My wife and I stayed at Kalima Resort Phuket from 2 December to 11 December in the Honeymoon Suite with Sea View, and overall we had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and had excellent air conditioning. The view from our balcony was absolutely sensational and something we never got tired of. The bathroom was a great size, with a lovely shower and bath. The only downside was a lack of storage, especially in the bathroom, and it would have been very helpful to have an iron and ironing board included. We really appreciated the beach bag and flip flops provided by the hotel — such a thoughtful touch and something we used every day. The 24/7 room service was fantastic; we ordered frequently and every meal was delicious. The staff were consistently super helpful, friendly, and attentive, which really made our stay special. The infinity pool area was magnificent, with stunning views and a perfect water temperature — not too cold, which is very important! The pool bar was amazing, offering a wide range of food, drinks, and cocktails. We especially loved happy hour between 3pm and 5pm. That said, the resort is very large and spread out, and the layout can be quite confusing. Walking from the lobby to our room often felt like an adventure — not ideal when you’re trying to fully relax on holiday. There are also a lot of stairs, so you definitely need to be fit to get around. Accessibility options for guests who struggle with stairs are quite limited. One small disappointment was the welcome drink at reception, which unfortunately wasn’t very nice. Also, while the resort is advertised as being close to Patong, it’s not really walkable unless you’re up for a serious hike. Otherwise, you’ll need to use the hotel shuttle or order a Grab. Despite a few drawbacks, we had a memorable stay and would recommend Kalima Resort, especially for couples looking for great views, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere.

Kalima resort was simply amazing. But made extra special by Pang and her team of bar staff, from in the morning with smiley faces at the coffee stand to the pool bar with the amazing cocktails. I usually do not like cocktails at all, but Pang, Nun, Bon and Phak made sure that every one of them was perfect! The hotel is beautiful and the housekeeping staff also go above and beyond, fresh towels and room made up daily. The hotel food is exceptional and cared for so much which is really appreciated, cling filmed for coming out to the pool bar

Beautiful hotel set on cliffside so stunning view, but do expect a trade off for the street noise. We paid additional for a seaside deluxe view. Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss, but nothing too much trouble if u ask for missing towels & beach towels were replaced every day. They provide robes, flip flops,umbrellas & even a beach bag to use. The only negative is due to the cliff, you can’t walk to any restaurant a or bars as the road is a fast dual carriageway with no pavement. We did eat upstairs in the Malika bar & expensive but very good. We also managed to cross the road & ate in the only other accessible restaurant across the road ( Bar rah lim ). The pool bar tenders are fantastic, M & Bon worked tirelessly every day always smiling. We used the useful hotel shuttle bus most evenings into Patong.

Stayed for a week, staff cannot do enough for you. Food in restaurants was excellent particularly the Japanese Teppanyaki. Noondang and Dede at breakfast always smiling and willing to help. Can be tough to get around so easily if mobility issues but if can make it the view of sunset from infinity pool is amazing and M and the guys at the pool bar work so hard . Great base away from the madness of Patong with stunning views and great vibe .

Our 3 nights in Kalima was nothing short of exceptional. It truly deserves its 5 star rating!!! The resort is perfect for couples who want a quiet retreat overlooking the ocean. Each room has its own balcony and is super quiet- we could hardly hear the room next door!! Also, the staff were super attentive and friendly. Y They offered to help us in any way. The concierge, housekeeping , the bell boys (special thanks to Baw for helping us with our luggage when we checked out) , Busaba spa staff, Malika terrace staff , etc . were all excellent. While I was here , I used the gym everyday and the gym was kept impeccably clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent and featured an array of food including Pad thai to Butter toast!! The food was hot and fresh. The view from the restaurant and the pool was surreal!!! We enjoyed the sunset and sunrise every day while we were here. +)) the shuttle to JungCeylon was SUPER convenient. In summary I would give this resort 10/10 . Exceptional!!! 칼리마 리조트에서의 3박은 정말 훌륭했고, 5성급이라는 평이 전혀 아깝지 않았습니다. 바다 전망을 감상하며 조용히 휴식하고 싶은 커플에게 완벽한 리조트예요. 모든 객실마다 발코니가 있고 방음도 정말 잘 되어 옆방 소리가 거의 들리지 않았습니다. 직원들도 매우 친절하고 세심했습니다. 컨시어지, 하우스키핑, 벨보이(특히 체크아웃 때 짐을 도와준 Baw에게 특별 감사), Busaba 스파팀, Malika 테라스 직원들 모두 훌륭했습니다. 매일 이용했던 호텔 헬스장은 항상 깨끗하게 유지되어 있었어요. 조식 뷔페는 팟타이부터 버터 토스트까지 다양하고 음식도 뜨겁고 신선했습니다. 레스토랑과 수영장에서 보이는 전망은 말 그대로 그림 같아서, 매일 일출과 일몰을 감상했습니다. 또한 정실론까지 가는 셔틀도 정말 편리했습니다.

I want to say a big thank you to the wonderful housekeeping department. The room is always spotless, the service is perfect, and the kindness of the team is amazing. They work hard and really care about the guests. If you stay at this hotel, you are guaranteed to feel loved and taken care of. Every day when we come back from shopping or sightseeing, we open the door and everything is perfect: the room is spotless, the bed is beautifully made, and the housekeeping team has added little thoughtful touches that show they really care about making you happy. The staff make this hotel. Lovely pool area and a stunning sky bar to watch the incredible sunsets, this hotel was ideally situated just a few mins drive (via free shuttle) from the hustle and bustle of Patong beach. Breakfast/meals were great, with plenty of choice; a relaxing spa, a gorgeous infinity pool, regular activities and chilled entertainment, I had a very enjoyable stay, which was elevated due to the waiters/bar/housekeeping staff, who couldn’t do more for you. Think I got placed in the worst room (2110), with a noisy air con, next to a noisy maintenance room, on the ground floor, over looking the ‘service’ road… where I didn’t feel safe as a solo traveller or couldn’t sleep due to the noise, and motor bikes/people zooming past the balcony throughout the night; the room was nice however; can imagine other rooms /views would make it a definite 5 star stay (not sure if I was placed there because I was a solo travelling paying a high supplement! or because I booked through TUI) Some maintenance work going on and some parts in need of a paint/clean up - but all in all, a lovely hotel. Would definitely recommend the hotel, (just not the room!) Thank you for a lovely stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 night stay at this hotel. It is just far enough away from the mad bustling city centre of Patong to relax, and close enough to go and experience the madness. The staff are incredible. M at the pool bar and our housekeepers Lek and Lee get a special mention. The spa is lovely but very expensive compared with central Patong. The skybar was lovely at sunset and a great vibe but the food was hit and miss. Breakfast is mad if you leave it late. Overall we loved our stay and we would come back. Thank you to all.

Hotel was rather great,but housekeeping needs major improvements! We had left our room at 8:20am for a tour and returned at 3:45pm and absolutely nothing had been done to our room.We even highlighted the clean room button outside our room before we left on tour.Also I requested to have cotton buds and shower gel refilled and nothing was done. Food and Beverage staff were amazing as were the bell boys.Just really disappointed in the housekeeping as that is what we will remember….

My stay at Kalima Resort Phuket was overall impressive. The design of the hotel, the cleanliness of the facilities, and the quality of in-room services were all excellent. The views are beautiful, the staff are helpful, and the main facilities — especially the pool and restaurants — provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The only issue I noticed was the internal transportation from the room to the hotel lobby. The service could be improved in terms of response time and the availability of carts during busy hours, as delays can happen. Overall, the resort offers a very pleasant stay, and with better internal transportation it would be even stronger.

I would like to thank all the staff for their excellent service. First impressions are lasting, and this is one of the most important key factors in the world of hospitality. This is exactly what the reception team and the bellman demonstrated upon our arrival with their warm smiles. We arrived before the official check-in time, yet our room was already prepared, and we were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room. While completing the check-in paperwork, we were offered refreshing towels and welcome drinks, which added a very pleasant touch. The room was spacious, with a lovely balcony, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including beach towels and umbrellas... The only point that could be improved is the noise in front of the balcony, as some motorbikes and cars pass by the area. Housekeeping was available whenever needed, ensuring everything was perfectly clean and neat. We had dinner at the restaurant on the 6th floor, where we enjoyed a wonderful sunset view. The team was amazing, service was fast, attentive, and delivered with finesse. We also had drinks by the pool, and there are several signature cocktails worth trying. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, with plenty of options to suit every taste. There is even more to enjoy in the hotel, such as the spa, gym, and mini-golf..., but we didn’t have the chance to try them as we spent most of our time outside. Thank you to the entire team without exception for the beautiful memories you created for us. We will definitely choose you again for our next journey.

My 2nd time staying at this hotel. A little hiccup during check in this time - key cards not given due to the machine being down. But in order to let me go in the room without much delay, they asked Concierge to give me access to the room first and I could take the key cards when I go out later. Caught 2 mini cockroaches in the room, but I suppose this can't really be helped, being an open space hotel - at least it didn't feel infested or anything like that. Breakfast was as awesome as I remembered - good variety and some dishes change daily. I rarely find good coffee served at hotel breakfast buffets but I absolutely loved the coffee here. What I loved even more is the service staff at the breakfast buffet, especially Noo Dang, Nana and others. Noo Dang clearly has a lot of passion in her work as it shows in her bubbly and excellent service every single morning I was there without fail! One thing that is kinda annoying is the bees everywhere at breakfast - the tables, cereal and milk area, and especially on the donuts in the bakery area. Went to the spa on 29 Sept, the lady at the reception wasn't very friendly. Made a booking for the next day, and the lady at the reception on 30 Sept was friendlier! Went for a B1F1 full body massage, and had wonderful masseuse - Max and Pen. They were courteous, and did a fabulous job. I've been raving about this hotel to my family and friends since I came here the first time in Apr 2023. After this trip, I'd still highly recommend this hotel!

I’ve just stayed in Kalima Resort and Spa for three nights. Although the weather wasn’t great, we enjoyed our time in one of the villas with a private pool. It was very clean and comfortable, and housekeeping were very efficient - our staff were Oil, Say and Khake, who were all helpful. The resort is close enough to be near the action of Patong, but far away enough to be quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was also great with a wide selection of western and local cuisine, plus a daily special (today was sushi). Noodeng helped us at breakfast on our last day and it was a good service.

My husband and I enjoyed our two day trip to Kalima resort. We had the duplex private pool villa booked and it was worth every penny. The staff was kind and friendly. Special shout out to Tony who went above and beyond to help us find a way to pay our grab driver after we had left the country (long story short there were some transaction issues on the grab app) and Tony helped by sending us a link to get the driver paid. Baw also helped us a lot with our luggage and check out. The food at the in house restaurant (Malika) was great. We also enjoyed a game of badminton at sandy beach and the views overall were brilliant. Highly recommend staying here and splurging a bit. It’s close to patong beach and there are shuttles from the hotel every two hours during the day. They also decorated our room beautifully. Grateful

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. It is a good hotel, close to Patong but in a quiet area. We stayed as a family; the rooftop pool and the kids’ playroom were perfect. The breakfast was amazing, with a lot of choices and very good quality. A special thank you to Noodang, who welcomed us every morning and made us feel special. They love kids, which is a pleasure for parents. Thank you, we will definitely come back.

We visited Kalima in December 2025 as a family, had a few hiccups that was resolved to the best of their ability. They were attentive and did their best to make our last few days amazing. We had a good stay. They then decided to invite us back and we decided to send my mom and a friend to go and enjoy Thailand for her birthday in November and man oh man! Kalima went over and above! From the moment I reached out to book their stay, everything was excellent and my mom had the best birthday ever! I would recommend them as their hospitality and service is what they take pride in. If you are looking for an experience… Kalima is it! The staff is so delightful and they do their best. Thank you to the team at Kalima for making my mom’s stay unforgettable and we are looking forward to our next Thailand trip and seeing and experiencing your beautiful resort again!! Travelling to Thailand for the first time in 30 years, of course it had changed a lot. We spent a couple of nights in Bangkok and flew down to Phuket - an easy flight of no more than an hour and a half. The ''problem'' with The Kalima Resort was that the experience we had in Phuket in general was not what we were expecting. Phuket Airport to Patong / Phuket City is a good hour, and more in daytime traffic which tends to be bad. Building everywhere, lots of things half finished, and what appears to be a complete lack of urban planning. We arrived at night, the Kalima is sort of ''perched on a cliff'' and so, by the next morning, we did see some lovely views, and also from the very good lounge, breakfast room and bar area which was good. Another ''problem'' while we were in Phuket was the weather that does cast a negativity over the whole experience. Storms, downpours, one day a national weather alert sent by the government to people's mobile phones. Generally the weather was poor / bad while we were there that simply does affect your mood and expectations. Our room looked over a busy road, and we asked to change and were offered clifftop eyrie that I reached by the resorts golf cart. Since it was still night time I could not gauge if we would be better or worse off in the other room we slept on it and eventually stayed where we were. The road in front is very busy and can be noisy and detracts from your balcony experience as well as electrical cables hanging right in your sightline. We selected the Kalima because of stellar Trip Advisor reviews, I researched where to stay in some detail and eventually it was the resort, and not so much the hotel, that detracted from our stay, and the weather. TO be fair to the Kalima, the staff were good, they did seek to solve any problems, the bar/brekafast/lounge area does have a very good vibe and good view and good food. Breakfasts were busy but well organised and ample selections and despite how busy it was, well managed. It is interesting that Phuket sees tourists from a vast variety of places. We met or heard people speaking from Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Israel, Russia, Korea, Japan, China, India, the Middle East, USA, Australia - truly an extraordinary variety of people drawn to Phuket. The spa at the Kalima was excellent, my wife and I had a couples massage and it was really good, reasonably priced and nice surroundings. I visited the Japanese Teppanaki bar in the resort and that was good, the infinity pool is nice but bad weather spoiled some of our days there. Traffic into Patong or Phuket City can be shocking and was a few times even though neither are that far away. Finally, it may seem unfair that The Kalima Resort is marked down because we didnt like the area so much and because the weather was bad, but our review is our fair experience there, and clearly many, many other visitors really loved the place.

I feel compelled to write a special review for our housekeeper, Kwan, who truly made our stay at Kalima Spa and Resort exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Kwan's attention to detail was remarkable. Our room wasn't just cleaned; it was meticulously cared for. Everything was spotless, perfectly organized, and she always left thoughtful little touches that made us smile. It felt like returning to a sanctuary every single day. The hotel is built on a slope rather than a flat area, which makes the layout feel tight and a bit claustrophobic. The elevators are located in different blocks and are somewhat confusing to use. On the positive side, the food and breakfast were very good, and the staff were generally friendly. However, the housekeeping staff spoke loudly in the hallway early in the morning. After I politely asked them to be quieter, a male staff member knocked on my door at 6:30 a.m. the next day and ran away — perhaps as a joke or to get back at me. I caught him in the corridor, and he apologized. I booked a private pool room, but there was no privacy at all — everyone around could easily see you. In that case, paying extra was pointless; a standard room would have been just fine. In summary, it’s a place suitable for families, the food is nice, but I personally wouldn’t come back again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kalima Resort. Great that there is a free bus service into Patong beach area. Best breakfast buffet we have ever experienced. The sky bar and restaurant offers a wide selection of food and drinks. On our last day, we were able to stay and enjoy the facilities and staff kindly gave us towels. This was a big help for us our flight wasn’t until late that evening. Highly recommend and would return to this hotel in future.

My young adult sons and husband agree that 100% this is where we will stay again. Quality gym with morning yoga, most gorgeous pool, plenty of activities with pool table, mini golf, archery. Staff are super lovely and buffet breakfast was the best we have ever had with such a large selection and it changing daily. Even though it’s up on the hill the free shuttle to town and back was easy. Plenty of stairs around but elevator helps and it’s fine if you can cope with 1 flight here and there each day

The first night we arrived at Kalima, my husband and I were amazed at not only the beautiful lobby, but also at the kind and attentive staff. We were greeted with the best coconut juice and cold towels after a long flight and night drive. After checking us in, they drove us up to our room which was incredibly spacious, clean, and with the view of the remarkable ocean. The breakfast was buffet style, 10/10 delicious food with many options available including Thai and Halal as well as international foods. The spa was also an amazing experience. We booked the rainy day massage and the romantic harmony package. The spa staff are gifted in their craft and for our first spa experience ever it was 100% worth the price. Excellent hotel.

Deserves 10 stars 🌟 This resort is better than pictures, walking up the steps and to reception to Proy, Freya, Tony and Yui you are greeted and assisted the whole duration of your stay always with a warm smile from everyone. You get a welcome drink and fresh cold scented towel that revitalizes your senses - especially after air travel and Thailand’s climate. My room was absolutely beautiful and aircon pressure/ temp kept me comfortable and cool 24/7. You get 2x free Crystal 500mL drinking water in glass bottles that are replenished after use - also a complimentary bag of Thai flavored peanuts! The mini fridge is stocked with known brands, free coffee is a French press that has instructions. My balcony came with seating, table with uninterrupted views of Pa Tong bay and Andaman Sea also a towel drying rack after the luxe bath tub! Bathroom stocked with everything. Multiple packs of toothbrush and toothpaste set, shaving kit, emery board(nail file), cotton buds, cotton pads, sewing kit, shower caps, comb, sanitary bag and soap bar. All replenished after each use also. The sheets have the most luxurious freshest scent making sleep even more pleasant. Mattress is a 10/10 perfection. The room even comes with a dehumidifier! Attention to detail always prioritized. I travelled to Phuket to celebrate my birthday and they’ve made every second of every day so special and magical for me. I walked into my room with decoration on the bed and a cake with a happy birthday chocolate plaque - even a cherry on top! From surprising me at breakfast with the whole staff bringing me a cake singing happy birthday with a candle to magic shows from X-man and the fun lively dinner staff at Malika Sky Terrace. I was always left smiling with laughter. Buffet breakfast is absolute must add to your stay international cuisine served with a full bakery, ice cream kart and bubble tea kart for kids to spirits section for adults to get the party started early! Make sure to say sawasdee to Deedee she is the sweetest. Trio Bar staff Wi, M, Pang, Bon always entertained with bartending tricks and made the most delicious cocktails to really put me in the holiday mood. The swim up bar was everything I dreamed of and more. You can order a whole selection of food from Thai to international to be served there at the bar or brought to your sun beds or sun lounges as you take in the view of the gorgeous sky over the infinity pool. In this hotel I experienced my number one breakfast in any hotel I went to , and believe me I went to a lot , it has everything comes in your mind even ice creams , during my stay I lost my phone in bolt ride , and I checked out from the hotel to go to another place in phuket , one of the receptionist staff called tony , he insisted to take my WhatsApp number to contact me if the bolt driver comes to the hotel , he also tracked the drivers plate using the hotel CCTV , and he managed to retrieve my phone even when I'm somewhere else , he was so kind , so professional and one of the most trustable dedicated people I met in my entire life , I thank him from all of my heart , ask for him if you went there , there nothing he can't help you with , the hotel rooms were amazing , clear and the room service were great , if you looking for safe , amazing , clean and a place with great food , kalima is your distenation

This was our third time staying here, and each visit just gets better. But this one was extra special — it was our first holiday with our 9-month-old son, Mateo. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. We were especially touched to see the same friendly uncle who’s helped us during our past visits — he welcomed us again, brought us to our room, and even handed us an umbrella when we forgot ours. Such genuine kindness is rare and truly appreciated. Although we checked in late, the room was prepared with a baby cot ready for Mateo. The only small issue was a dusty floor on arrival, but the next day’s housekeeping took care of it perfectly. Mateo had the best time — all smiles and energy, playing with the hotel staff who treated him like family. Special thanks to Team Noodeng, who always looked out for us and made Mateo feel completely at home. They even brought him around to say goodbye to everyone on our last day — it was so sweet and touching. And a heartfelt thank you to the lovely Busara Spa staff, who kindly helped care for Mateo while we enjoyed our break — carrying him around and even taking him to feed the fish! That kind of warmth is something we’ll never forget. The hotel facilities are excellent for families — with a great playroom, a lovely pool (his loud, happy squeals in the pool said it all!) and the upgraded Patong shuttle drop-off at Jungceylon, which is super helpful for families traveling with a stroller. Thank you once again for making our family trip so memorable and full of joy. We’ll definitely be back — and next time, Mateo will be walking around greeting everyone himself!

Kalima Resort & Spa was located right beside Patong beach and we could see the entire ocean view from our room! There were many restaurant and bar nearby, easy to get a grab driver to explore around Phuket. Breakfast was fantastic with wide variety of choices. The resort also provide free shuttle service to JungCeylon Shopping mall, which is just a 10 mins drive away. Overall it was a pleasant stay with my family.

Fiancé & I stayed here for 5 nights. We can fault anything about this place. The service from arrival, during & on departure was just phenomenal. Friendly & always smiling staff members. Location not too far from Patong beach. Cleanliness on point. Breakfast buffet amazing. Views from our room, the pool & dining area just gorgeous, especially at sunset. Rooms spacious & comfortable. Service provided was always accommodating. Gym, had your basic needs which was great. Loved that they had a free shuttle bus to take you to Patong beach & return. Front staff are not helpful and they force you to wait for 3pm check in even if your room is ready, so there’s a huge group of people there squeezing in at 3. The rooms do not have good sound isolation at all. The housekeeping Nextdoor or upstairs sounds like something is slamming on the walls. Also the power disconnects in the middle of the night and causes the “smart” tv to turn on and start blasting its welcome music over the night

Seaview room review Im not sure if all seaview rooms are situated at the front of the resort but our rooms were so traffic noise was unavoidable. First room was in block 1 and second was in block 2. We had a terrible broken sleep during our stay. On our first stay in Kalima (2 years ago) we had a room in block 5 which is at the back of the resort and it was peaceful and we had a view overlooking Patong Bay and this also was the view from the bath tub. It was spectacular! We much preferred that stay due to peaceful days and nights and a lovely outlook at night overlooking Patong Bay with the building lights as a back drop.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! There are far better places to stay in Patong or nearby in Kamala that are better for your money. The check-in is widely unorganized…bags just lying everywhere in the lobby scattered unsecured. The rooms were unimpressive. Look out on the balcony of the ocean but it’s ruined by the trash cluttered from being thrown down from higher rooms. The location is also terrible. It’s located on a hill around a bend, so the walk ability is dangerous and far from anything good. Then the business itself are just flat out liars. No honor to their word. Had an emergency to check out earlier and they agreed to let me pay a cancellation fee. They agreed to me in person and also to Expedia. A week later they went back on their word and charged the entire stay instead. Expedia had to send me an apologetic letter stating the hotel changed their minds. Worst Thailand hospitality ever. Just avoid and stay at a better place.

The Kalima is definitely a 5 star property in every aspect. The hotel itself is beyond beautiful with stunning sky views. We ate at all of their restaurants and was delighted with the food and dining experience. We didn’t have time to explore all the amenities but they had so much to offer for everyone staying, friends , couples and families. The staff were so kind and accommodating. The infinity pools were perfect temperature, beautiful views and open late with a pool bar. Although it is a large hotel we still did not feel as though it was crowded as the rooms are spaced out very well. Location was perfect for us as we got to enjoy the quiet aspect with local shops away from the busy areas such as Bangla road but still visit nightly as it’s a short journey away. It is priced exceptionally well for what you get this is the best value for money hotel I’ve stayed at. Not one single complaint.

Really enjoyed staying at this resort! My husband had already been 10 years ago so it was a must we came for our honeymoon. There were lots of different food options, spa and pool was really relaxing and never super busy. The room was always kept in the best condition and staff were very hospitable, always having a smile on their faces. Food was also halal which was a big plus point for us. Only downside outside the resort on the road there wasn’t a footpath so you would be walking on the main road however there are plenty of transport options to get from one place to another!

Overall is a good experience, Property is clean and well kept. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. The online Application is useful. The check-in and check-out experience was okay. However the pre-booked taxi to airport through online App. was useless. It didn’t come even physically confirmed with the check-out staff. In general, I would highly recommend the property if you like to stay in Patong beach area.

Lovely property perched high overlooking patong beach. Far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds of patong. Plenty of taxi options and hotel has free shuttle to get to the beach BUT it’s not walkable unless you are super fit as it’s a steep road up to the hotel and there are a lot of steps! Only two restaurants within easy walking distance right outside hotel. Both excellent but highly recommend Ab Zab for delicious cheap local food

I loved this property! We got the room with its private pool plus the swim up. It was awesome, clean, and spacious! The cleaning crew that came in brought us cookies every night we were there. They have mini bar, and snacks that are free! The rain fall shower was amazing. Breakfast was included with our room and it was buffet style! It was really good food and a nice variety! I feel Iike they could have had more activities at the resort. However, didn’t take away from our stay. It is a ways from anything and everything. You will have to use a Tuk tuk or taxi or rent a bike. The property was super safe and luxurious. The staff were nice- but they didn’t go above and beyond, no need to either. It was a very pleasant experience and happy that it was our first stop in Thailand!

I liked almost everything about the place, the staff were polite and provided great service, the place was clean, there were many facilities available, the room was clean and had a great view and I really enjoyed the mini golf and archery. However, a few minor setbacks I found was that not every part of the resort was accessible by lifts, while I am okay climbing several flights of stairs, some may not be. Additionally, another aspect I didn't quite enjoy was the breakfast buffet. There was a large range of food but they didn't really match my taste and the bakery items did seem off. Overall, I really enjoyed the place and wished I stayed another night.

This was the second time we have stayed here in the space of a fortnight . We booked 3 nights , but after our stay we booked another two nights for when we returned from our other trip to Cambodia. Excellent staff and a very nice hotel for the price , good pool area , and on our second visit we tried the restaurant , This was exceptional , lovely fresh food , good attention to detail and tasty. Also large portions . We would both recommend . Also a massive bonus is the free shuttle in to the town centre and beach .

Beautiful resort. Very clean & the staff were very accommodating. Definitely stay here if you don’t want to be too close but not too far from Patong! Only complaint is there drinks were a bit watered but that’s to be expected at most beach resorts. Breakfast was amazing every day! Housekeeping was very detailed and was sure to replace all items. Would love to stay again. Again, GREAT staff from the moment you walk in.

There is a Chinese speaker CS at reception, good for those not good at English. Only a bad experience at breakfast restaurant in the last day of stay, I wear a Thai style tube long silk dress, the Manager named AOD, did not allow this type of dressing and asked me to change or cover their dress. His eyes and facial expression are full of discrimination. Maybe he think that I am not able to speak English as there were many Mainland China people, but I am from HK instead. I then went back to my room to change the dress and called for operation to ask if any dress code, the reply is no as long as it is comfortable. How can a Thai place not comfortable with a Thai style dress? After my complaint, that Manager would like to say apology to me but so sorry, I do not feel he is honestly to do so. I must report to the hotel for his impoliteness and discrimination at first.

After a bit of research and reading other reviews here and on other websites we've decided to book this hotel as looked really nice and we wanted to be close to Patong Beach, check-in was smooth and staff at the front really nice, the room was really average but clean (really dark) however our view was amazing, really average breakfast (3-star), highlight of this hotel is the swimming pool! Location: you can't walk out of this hotel as it's on the main road so you need to catch a taxi which cost a lot more compared to the rest of Thailand (minimum of 300Baht for 5min drive), the hotel has a complimentary shuttle which operates 3 times per day so if you get the timing right you can get to Patong for free! Personally we wouldn't stay in this hotel again mainly because of the breakfast, if you looking fort comfort & luxury go to Amari which is the other side of Patong Beach (unfortunately in our case it was sold out).

Average hotel, bit worth 5 stars and money that they charge. If you have old people with you please never take this hotel as to reach the room we had to take like 30 stairs up and I had my old mom with me which made it more difficult. The hotel staff is just average and cleaning ladies are not at all good. One day we had to request for cleaning the room as they just chose to skip it. Not worth the price and location is also not good as far from all beaches.

My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights here for Christmas and 2nd year anniversary. We booked a Deluxe room and got upgraded to Honeymoon room on 8/F. The car drop off place is small - we walked for few times to lower level to get on cab. Reception is good - the Hong Kong staff, John, gave us a warm welcome. Room - The room was neat and tidy and well equipped with everything we needed - they have flip flops to go to the pool which was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Only thing to improve is the floor - it’s a bit slippery in the sleeping room and bathroom. Facilities - the outdoor pool was very nice, they had a bar in the middle of the pool and happy hour from 3-5pm for but one get one free. We could see sunset there clearly. They had gym, kids club, mini golf and sand pool, too. Food - we had breakfast there which was with a very nice view. The Pad Thai there was awesome. But the table outside was full of ants, my dish of food was full of them when I walked to get a juice. Better sit inside. Musc - John recommended us a spa place other than the one in Patong, which is quite nice that they provide free transfer. Shuttle - we missed one from Patong since we stayed at the different landmark. They said there was a Exchange kiosk we waited there, but it turned out there were two. Overall - given the price, I would recommend staying here to chill. If you want to go to Patong, you need car.
