Velmi čisté a tiché ubytování v historickém centru v pěší vzdálenosti od několika památek, případně autobusového nádraží. Usměvaví, přátelští a ochotní zaměstnanci.Výborná servírovaná snídaně.

The Riad is beautiful and is full of Moroccan colours. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Continental Breakfast that was included in the price was served to our table and the food was really good. The Riad gave us a very pleasant stay and we will book it again if we visit Marrakech again in future. The only thing that new customers need to be aware is that it is not extremely easy to find it at the beginning because their signs are not too outstanding.

Taxi could not Locate the Riad and attempted to call them with no answer. We walked towards the Medina as there is a small sign showing that it was in that direction, unable to find it we got to a different Riad and they told us to go back. We called them again and finally someone answered and told us to stay were we are and they will get us. The Riad posted pictures are very deceiving, the indoor pool is 6 X 4 hole in the ground that is not useable . The beds are not comfortable. The bathroom top part is open to the bedroom. Staff is wonderful and very helpful and location is great once you find it .

Comfortable, neat and clean. Value for money. In the Medina close to the Palace. Manager was very helpful and checked us in for our flight. Breakfast was a simple affair but filling and delicious. A very delightful feature of a little bridge in the Riad over the swimming pool. Rooftop terrace splendid.

God service og virkelig lækker morgenmad. Fin tagterasse.

The riad is nice and the staff very helpful and friendly. They make you feel safe despite of the chaotic Marrakech. I would recommend this place just to young / student people, as the place doesn't look as the safest of Marrakech (there is police everywhere though) and it is a very dark area in the night.

Good service and rooms are clean and good breakfast. The only downside is the location. It's in alley where taxi cant get to and it's quite a walk with luggage and not so bad without... overall I would stay there again when in Marrakesh..

We loved our stay at the Riad Sidi Mimoune. The staff were lovely and very helpful, our room was clean and a good size. We don't enjoy air-conditioning so we requested a fan and were given a large silver thing that made the rest of our sleeps very pleasant. We chose to go half board, the food was simple and traditional and took the hassle out of searching for food in the evenings.

We stayed at this hotel for a week. Initially we were a bit surprised, since it was unexpectedly different from a typical hotel, in that it was styled more like an old Moroccan house. There is also a long alley from the main road leading to the hotel; we had to drag a lot of luggage down the alleys and up the stairs at the hotel, since there is no elevator (although there is only one flight of stairs, not a lot). There was no phone or television in the room, but there was a small, sunny nook in the hallway, and the terrace was easily accessible and pleasant to visit.

When we arrived via taxi, we needed to walk to riad via several narrow streets. When we got out of the taxi, a couple Moroccan men asked us where we're staying and that they'd help us get there. DO NOT ACCEPT THEIR OFFER TO HELP. They will demand a lot of money once they arrive at the riad with you because they 'helped you out' and will not leave until you have given them money. We declined them because we were warned of this in advance but we saw other customers staying at our riad being harassed by these guys and were forced to hand over money. They served typical Moroccan breakfast (bread, Moroccan pancakes or bread, jam, honey, yoghurt and orange juice) which was nice as we were looking fora true authentic Moroccan experience. In terms of location, it was perfect. It was on a narrow street with lots of riads and was situated near the main attractions and locations in Marrakesh. The staff at the riad booked the excursions on our behalf and they were definitely worth it! The staff even brought us to the location the minivans picked us up so we get on the minivan. Overall, the riad was great and positively contributed to our holiday in Marrakesh.

The hotel is situated in a village in the old city. Taxis cant get to your hotel and have to stop at the end of this maze of a alleyway way thtough houses where people constantly approach u to help and ask for money. We arrived at night and when we arrived at the end of the alleyway we were told by the cab driver he couldnt go any further as they alley was too narrow as it was. He let this guy in his 20's guide us through these alleys in the dark where you would think u might get mugged. We got to the hotel and got our room. The pool in the hotel is more like a pond. When we wanted to go out at night the manager asked what time we will be back and stated he will be sleeping and there will be nobody to open the door. Within minutes I was online looking for a new hotel. Eventually found a hotel named ourika camp hotel based some km out of the city with a large room and large pool. Amazing friendly staff and the owners were a husband and wife from canada and there hosting was second to none. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone who doesnt want to get mugged in some dark alleyway.

Riad is really well situated and easy to find once you know where it is. Definitely book a car (email before leaving) as without doing so it is unlikely you'll be able to locate the riad as it is (like all others) in an ally and not a road. Breakfast was tasty and very filling. Room was clean and very nicely decorated. Sound travels in the riad as take ear plugs just in case--noise wasn't a problem when we stayed there though. There is a lovely terrace with plenty of chairs which overlooks the main mosque. Overall a lovely place to stay.

The location of the Riad was okay. Its fairly central. It is situated in an alley, in which a car can not drive down, so you do have to carry your bags to the riad a good 50 meters. There are also small kids that try to charge you money to show you the way to your Riad. The kids are out at all times of night as well. However, they are harmless. The hotel room and communal space was relatively clean. The hotel was undergoing some renovations, however, it did not cause us any mishap. The bed was hard (however some people prefer that ). There were three receptionist at the hotel during our stay, only one spoke great English. The Riad was a great deal for the rate we paid, but nothing spectacular.

Get a transfer here as alleyways you WILL NOT be able to find your way round at first - but ok on the second day. Don't be intimidated as pretty safe even though appears not so initially. Just nice to be in with the real people of the town and see how they live. This Riad is really strange but a very interesting place to stay for a short break. Longer may get a little oppressive as quite dark and only a terrace for natural light or to be outside at all. All a bit' Heath Robinson' how the place is fitted out but this is an old fashioned community that have little money or access to our Westernised infrastructure, fittings and fixtures so they make things up as they go along. You have to make excuses here and there but this is a charming place for those of us who like things a bit away from the norm. If you like all Hotel style 'tickity boo' then don't go here.

When we first got out of the hotel we were dropped outside and alleyway which we had to walk through to get to the hotel and can be quite daunting when you first arrive but you get used to it after the first day. Whilst walking to the hotel and guy came and helped us with luggage and lo and behold wanted money from us which we had no choice but to give even though we did not want his help. One staff member was just not polite or helpful and tried rip us off by charging for a hammam when it should have been free as we stayed longer than 4 nights. The guy walked in while I was having the hammam which was inappropriate and the actual hammam was rubbish I seriously do not recommend you get one from there. When walking out of the hotel through the alleyways you see children playing which is great as you feel your in the thick of Moroccan life but when they start begging for money it all gets a bit to much. Even though there are a few negatives about this place its an ok place to stay if your not phased by walking around the alleyways and begging kids.

This lovely riad is about 8 minutes walk to the main square in the medina so it's wonderfully quiet in the evenings when you want to leave the noise and craziness behind. My room was very clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and the homemade food was fantastic - generous breakfasts and delicious home-cooked three-course dinners. I would stay here again.

First of all, when we arrived it was in a alley way and quite confusing to find. It felt like a maze! The hotel Staff was very welcoming but the room itself not just that the whole hotel never had any windows!!! Our room was right next to the reception and could hear everything and was very stuffy. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone claustrophobic! There was a massive cockroach in the bathroom and it would come out only at night in the bathroom! ERGH!!!!! I kept having a cold shower because apparently the hot water was being used by other hotel stayers! They was told the same thing!!!!!! All in All, i met different tourist in Marrakesh and we all come into 1 conclusion! NEVER EVER WILL WE BE VISITING MARRAKESH AGAIN! Ps. I needed to buy my own iron because it doesn't exist in the hotel! Oh yeah and no Tele!

Extremely clean, beautiful room, friendly staff. When you first arrive you feel like you will never find it again, but you soon get used to the many streets. Tips for Marrakesh... Wear sun glasses, do not walk too close to the snake or monkey entertainers, be careful on the roads (vehicles come from both directions), and find yourself a nice roof top cafe, take pictures and watch the world go by!

The Sidi Mimoune Riad was an oasis of beauty and cleanliness in a chaotic and grubby city. Had to work hard to find the nuggets of interest and attraction. The traffic is manic and dangerous and at times the whole experience seemed third world and intimidating. But, on the whole, the Morracains are friendly, enthusiastic and welcoming and there are places to find quiet and peace.

The hotel is in a nice part of the Medina and is really lovely, clean and pretty. For breakfast we got homemade yoghurt (which was the best yoghurt I have ever eaten) bread with jam, honey and butter as well as a choice of tea coffee and hot chocolate and a fresh orange juice each. The rooms were a decent size and we got fresh towels and room service each day. We were on the top floor from where we had direct access to the roof terraces. The pool however is tiny and not very usable as it is between the entrance room and the breakfast area which are connected by a little bridge over the pool (which really only has the size of a bif paddling pool. We really liked the location as is not directly in the busy souk or close to the very busy and loud main square but perfectly located in a quiet (yet not deserted or scary) part of the medina where we felt very comfortable and safe.

The taxi dropped us at the entrance to some alleys where a boy guided us to the Riad, without this pre-booked transfer it would have been virtually impossible to find the Riad and venturing out on our own the first time was a bit scary as it was dark and the aleys quite deserted. Location was however good for the main square and other sites were easy to walk to. Room was a bit dingy and beds quite small. No dooor to the bathroom meant ablutions could not be done in private which was OK if you are very close but not too good for those prefering some privacy. Lovely home made yogurt for breakfast.
