The staff were unfailingly polite, and looked after us very well. They were elegant and poised, and shared our sense of humour, making us feel welcomed. The food was amazing, plentiful, well presented and oh so yummy! The Pastilla de poulet and almonds was to die for. We would like to thank them all for their kindness and hard work. Whilst there were some minor irritants, they were not sufficient to mar our enjoyment. We would gladly return if ever we have the opportunity. A special thank you to Abderahim, Fadwa, Zakaria, Mocime, Arkham, Khlil, Hajar and Bencharki. Well done everybody!

Excellent service, great location, beautiful hotel but rooms are musty and need a refresh. Particularly the carpets smell. Otherwise rooms are very nice. A special mention to Guest Relations Manager Lise Bertrand who went out her way to attend to my wife's and my request. Also Jawad Mouhssine who was very helpful.

Positives: - Good location, next to Casa Port train station - Stuff is very helpful and kind - Breakfast very nice - Clean: towels, bed - Airco works silently and well - Rooms quite Negatives: - Significant humidity smell We stayed 2 nights in the hotel. We checked in to a room which had a significant humidity smell. We tried to survive opening the window but it is impossible, I started to have a headache ( imagine how much smell). Hotel stuff was very helpful and they changed our room. Next room was ok but I cannot say that it was zero smell but good enough. If the hotel was fully booked it would be a big issue, that’s why I gave 3 out of 5. As you cannot stay in the room, it eliminates all the good points.

I stayed at Sofitel Casablanca expecting a five-star experience, but it was extremely disappointing. The room was dirty — dusty minibar, dirty bed cover, spilled sugar around the coffee machine, and an old, unpleasant bathroom full of black scratches. When I complained, the French Experience Manager was right next to me and saw everything, yet completely ignored me, only telling the staff to “give him the spa.” This is not professional behavior for a manager. Later, they just changed my room with no apology, no upgrade, and no compensation. Staff even entered twice while the Do Not Disturb sign was on. As a Gold ALL Accor member, I felt totally unvalued. Terrible service — I do not recommend this hotel for anyone expecting Sofitel quality.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Unfortunately, our stay at Sofitel Casablanca was far below expectations. The room had a poor layout with inadequate lighting, damaged tiles, and drainage issues. A strong musty odour lingered throughout, and neither room fresheners nor dehumidifiers made a difference. We had to change rooms twice due to the conditions, but after the second move, the front desk stopped assisting altogether. The entire corridor also smelled damp and unpleasant. To top it off, breakfast was overpriced and offered only a very basic buffet spread. Not the level of service or comfort one would expect from a Sofitel property.

I am an Accor member and booked 3 nights, in 2026, expecting to be charged AUD $736.54. This is the amount according to the Accor website when I made the booking. I found out shortly after that I had been charged AUD $2,395.82. When I contacted the hotel they conceded that they charged me an incorrect amount (on a non-refundable booking) and offered me a future credit on the overcharge of the approx AUD $1,650.00. I declined - I live in Australia and don't plan to travel to Morocco again to spend the credit; for a small amount I would have accepted their suggestion. I did inform the hotel that I will dispute the charge if the refund doesn't appear. I have not had a negative experience at a Sofitel previously, but this will leave a bad taste in my mouth if the hotel doesn't rectify the error - it's a very easy fix. It was an administrative error and they are trying to avoid the refund. Come on Sofitel - get your act together and sort this out.

I stayed at this hotel this past weekend and was so disappointed. Our stay was booked by a local Moroccan travel partner as part of a group of 8 travellers on a tour group. The whole guest experience was not up to Sofitel's usual brand standard, for example there was no mini bar items in the room, when I questioned this their comment was "you are part of a tour group we don't offer mini bar to tour groups'. Only one small bottle of water was in the room (usual brand standard is 2 bottles) and only one glass. Even the cup next to the coffee machine did not have a saucer, nor any teaspoons. The carpet was extremely dirty and in desperate need of a carpet shampoo, my feet were black after walking on the carpet. The wall had large chunks of plaster missing and damaged. The overall room just needs to be put Out of Order OOO and have a deep clean. The airconditioner did not work - so they did attempt to fix this two hours after notifying the front desk. On the first night I called housekeeping to get an iron and ironing board delivered to my room to iron my clothes that I wanted to wear to dinner that night and after 90 minutes it still had not arrived so I phoned to cancel as we had to head out for dinner and her response was 'oh ok' no apology etc that they did not live up to expectations. My coffee order in the breakfast restaurant took 45 minutes to arrive and even then it was the wrong order and the waiter just rolled his eyes. There just did not seem to be any 'leaders' or a duty manager on the floor or at front desk. Many of the other guests in the group also had similar issues throughout their stay with towels not being replaced after housekeeping service. It just seemed that we were treated as second class level of guest since we booked through a travel agent. I also had problems with my hot water which were not addressed. On one occasion, I had the Do Not Disturb button on while I was taking a nap - the housekeeper just came straight in while I was asleep without checking the button at all - I asked her to come back 30 minutes later however no one came back at all, so did not have any service or clean towels etc. Again on the 2nd day (checkout day), I had the DND button on again and at 9.45am in the morning, the housekeeper came straight in to 'clean and check the room' even though I was due to check out one hour later. The TV satellite connection dropped out many times during the 2 days and no one came at all to check the TV. I had to have the doctor come to offer some medical assistance while I was there on two days and they were exceptional arriving within 5 minutes of being called. I am a hotel operations person with 35+ years experience and love the Sofitel brand, however this experience did not meet brand standards and was very disappointing overall and also tainted my experience of Casablanca overall.

Very nice lobby and restaurants. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Their English needs some improvement because communicating was awkward at times. The food is excellent. Rooms are well designed and very comfortable with great views. The best experience was with Samira at the spa. She gave me an amazing Hamam (whole body exfoliation). Overall a great experience and highly recommend.

I booked this hotel based on my previous great experiences with Accor properties and due to its good reviews. However, the stay was disappointing to say the least! Our room was on the 10th floor and the corridor already smelled damp. We decided to air the room properly, which helped somewhat, but upon closing the window for the night, the humidity returned. We remained positive and decided to leave the A/C running the next night, since this usually removed any excess humidity from the air. Unfortunately, it only made it worse, so that when I tossed and turned during the night, I realised I was snuggling into wet bedsheets! Our wet swimming outfits did not dry for nearly 48 hours and we had to pack them back into our suitcases while still moist. Granted, we should have asked for a room change and given the hotel the chance to fix it, but since the entire corridor was damp and previous reviews complained about the same issue, we felt it would make no difference. Besides, it was late into our last night when we realised that neither an open window nor a cranked-up A/C made a change. Service was also not nearly up to Accor standard - check-in and check-out took forever despite there being no queue and we watch staff hang up the phone instead of answering calls multiple times. On our first day, Housekeeping cleaned the room but brought no towels whatsoever - we only received new towels after asking for them in the late afternoon. We used the pool on our fist day at the hotel, which is nice albeit small, but found no towels or staff anywhere in the pool and fitness area, so we had to venture upstairs to the Spa to ask for towels... We received a turndown service on both evenings, but it was always done only on one side of the bed, even though we were clearly staying in the room with 2 people. Most shockling, however, was the fact that Housekeeping entered our room twice (!) despite a "Do Not Disturb" dorrhanger and a red light. They knocked, we yelled "No" and the door was still opened - a clear violation of privacy! On a positive note, the property is in an excellent location: close to the harbour and with nice views of the city and the great Mosque. We visited the restaurant twice (the one with continental cuisine) and truly enjoyed the food and service!

My husband & I stayed at the Sofitel in Casablanca and it was the the best experience we have ever had during a vacation. Saoui Hamza showed us a warm hospitality and welcomed us every time we dined at this amazing Moroccan restaurant. He truly cared about making us feel like we were in his home. He & his team showed kindness, hospitality and attention to all the details like carrying our shopping bags to the elevator and taking the time to share conversation. As, well, compliments to the chef, thanks to her delicious dishes, we bought a tagine. Hamza & his staff absolutely ARE the Sofitel restaurant in Casablanca!!!!! We picked Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche as our first hotel in Morocco to stay. We enjoyed our time there and it gave is good impression about the city and the country. The biggest reason to choose this hotel is the location. It’s at the heart of the city, walk distance to shops and major tourist destinations. Our luxury room with mosque view is clean and comfortable. It was worth paying for the view. Service is friendly and consistent, especially the front desk team. Special thanks to Yassine; he was friendly and very helpful. Food offering was good. Only minor issue is the breakfast service especially hot food was slow, but we didn’t mind it that much because we were on holiday mood. It’s a place happy to return if we visit Casablanca again.

As a Diamond ALL Accor member, I rarely take my reviews to online platforms because the hotels usually are professional and fair in dealing with complaints onsite and offsite but I take this one to this platform because the hotel hygiene standards were concerning for an Accor hotel, let alone a Sofitel, and their resolution of the complaint is not fair and objective. First, this is the state of the room when I checked in: 1- I smell the perfume of a previous guest on the bed pillow. This is a significant breach to basic hygienic Accor standards, 2- When you have a bed cover that has a tear on the left side and black stain on the right side, this is a significant breach to basic hygienic Accor standards, 3- When you look on the bedside mirror and you find traces of hands near the door lock from a previous guest or staff, this a clear lack of hygienic standards and a serious supervision issue for a room ready for check in, 4- When you try to open the safe and you find it locked for no reason, this means that basic checks were not done prior to make the room ready for check in. This resulted in 30mn waiting time for resolution and unlocking. 5- When you call reservation to request for baby beds to be in the room when checking in and you get a confirmation of that 2 times and you find no bed when you enter the room, this is unacceptable behavior and not expected from a 5* hotel. 6- When you enter the room as an Accor Diamond member and you find no welcome message, no welcome amenity, you realize that the whole experience is not aligned with Accor basic loyalty standards. After I made several remarks based on the above to reception and to the Customer Experience Manager, I left the room. On my return, I found that the room was reviewed and was finally aligned with basic housekeeping standards that I would expect from the start. I was ready to let this be history and forget the inconveniences caused. We had no issues the following 2 nights. However, during the last 3 nights of my stay, the issues started to occur again: 7- When you find drinking water plastic container waste in the middle of your bathtub left by your teams, this is a clear lack of hygienic standards and a proof that the housekeeping service is not upto standards. 8- When you take a shower and you unfold a bath towel to use it and you find 4-5 red/brownish stains on the towel, this is disgusting and not acceptable. 9- When my daughter alerts me that her child bed mattress is wet, that was hard for me to believe until I touched the mattress. Basically, water spilled the previous night while drinking was not noticed by housekeeping let a side a black stain on the bed cover. Basically, a mattress and bed cover not verified therefore not replaced. 10- When you request room service to clear the living room table and come back to find pasta and sauce rests on the table and basic hygienic swiping of the table not done, afterwards, this is also not acceptable standard to expect from a 5* hotel. 11- When I try to report the issues to management verbally on Friday end of the day, I get the response that nobody is available until Monday. This was puzzling to me. By the meantime, I continued sending all facts stated above to Customer Experience Manager when they occured through whatsapp. These messages were not answered until I made a complaint few days later using the Accor channels. I am summarizing my experience here in 11 points based on facts (no emotions). I want also to stress the fact that as part of the Accor complaint, I made a request for compensation which the hotel is rejecting and making a shameful counter-proposal with incomplete facts and windowdressing the situation, insisting only on the measures taken on check in date and the following 2 days but ignoring that issues occured repeatedly during the last 3 nights of my stay again which is the central point of my complaint and huge disappointment. I am taking my complaint further in the escalation process within Accor. I am not interested by the general message this review will get from the hotel as we reached a wall in our exchanges. Question of standards of service I assume as all 11 stated facts above are confirmed by and with the hotel. Hotel will state we were upgraded from Junior to Prestige suite which is a natural benefit of being Diamond Accor member, based on availability, not a hotel favor, that they implemented measures post the check in issues but they will ignore that the central point of the complaint is that the hygiene and housekeeping issues ccured repeatedly during the last 3 nights of the stay meaning the implemented measures terribly failed and were not sustainable and management was not present to deal with the situation then. Sad but true.

Location.

Cons: I was shocked when I was asked there will be additional payment required for check-in (I arrived at 2:05pm and apparently there checkin time is 3:00pm). This was craziest thing I ever heard. The room had bad smell (not sure if it was due to bad recirculating air). Towels provided were horrific old to the extent I did not want to use it. Room was not clean. Spotted flies in the room and breakfast area.

There were a lot of flaws with this hotel. We booked a junior suite, so we can expect some luxury’s right? Not! On the website it said “enjoy our Hermés products.” Nope there were only Nuxe products. Also the website said “enjoy our relaxing pool.” Nope there was a echo , the pool was only 1 meter deepth and was not heated. There was also mold in our shower, lose tiles and in the afternoon you can smell the seewers. Dont expect a vegan dish during breakfast. Also expect that housekeeping will come uninvited in your room even when you have the DO NOT DISTURB sign on your doorknob. I reported it during my stay to accor, and they will take care of it, but i am still waiting for a response.

I had high hopes for the Sofitel brand, but my recent stay was nothing short of unpleasant. From the moment I stepped into the room, I was greeted by a suffocating musty odor—an overpowering smell of mildew that lingered and made the space feel damp and uninviting. The room itself was far from clean. There were gnats and moths flying around, creating an unsettling atmosphere. I found dirty hair not only on the floor but also left in the shower, clearly untouched by housekeeping. The beds were deeply uncomfortable and did little to offer rest after a long day of travel. It’s genuinely shocking to encounter such poor standards from a hotel known for luxury. A thorough overhaul of cleanliness, maintenance, and air quality is long overdue. Until then, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

I had an amazing stay at Sofitel Casablanca during my recent trip to this city! The service was exceptional, every staff member was welcoming and professional. My favourite place to be was our room. The view from there was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the Hassan II Mosque and the Atlantic Ocean. It was the perfect way to start and end each day. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the city. From the luxurious spa to the excellent dining options at two on-site restauramts, you have everything you need here. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Casablanca!

When you book a room at a "5-star Sofitel hotel" you expect certain standards. None of mine were met. The property is very run down. Every part of the rooms are dented, chipped, water damaged, have mould and rusted. This hotel is at bed a 3-star. Staff are friendly and try their best to make up for the property. Restaurant food is bad and again not up to par. I would never step back in there, unless they renovate the building top down!

Checked out after 1 night of a 6-night stay. Room was dirty and stank like mold. Hallway had a strange smell, too. Furniture in the room and the lobby was tired. Bar and restaurant were both closed for remodeling so you eat in the ballroom. I was served a drink with a dead bug in it and a staff member tried to blame it on flies in the ballroom (there were none - also, why would there be flies in the ballroom of a five-star hotel). Most of the staff was friendly and courteous. The view from the room was really nice. Definitely not a five-star hotel. Maybe 3.

This was one of the worst Sofitel hotels I’ve ever stayed at. We had to change rooms four times just to find one that was acceptable, as the previous ones all had a strong smell—a mix of moisture, stale air, and even sewage odors. The worst part? The staff seemed aware of the issue but have done nothing to fix it, which is shocking for a Sofitel. The food was average at best, and the breakfast experience was equally frustrating. I was asked to wait more than 15 minutes outside because the restaurant was too full, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, this Sofitel fails to represent the brand’s usual standard. A real disappointment and definitely not worth the stay. A shame for what should be a luxury experience.

So I am not sure how people who stayed here could give this hotel anything but a 2. The only reason it got a 2 was because the staff is SO NICE. It is an old, rundown hotel and if I wasn’t using it to just sleep for a few hours before a very early flight I would’ve changed hotels. There is no “restaurant” just a really dark (the walls are black) lounge with horrible seating. The food is pretty bad but I will say that our waitress Fatima was really nice. The view is incredible and that was also why it got the second star. We were on the 21st floor in a huge suite and I think that they haven’t freshened that room in months possibly years. It smelled of mold, the towels were stained and grey not white. I am adding a bunch of pictures so you can see them. Maybe the lower floors are nicer and the rooms are newer but what we had was like a motel 6. Such a shame because it really could be so much better.

Breakfast was good with a lot of variety, fresh foods, eggs cooked on site. Location is very good, near restaurants, the marina, bazaar, Rick's restaurant, etc.

Cons: Air conditioning was not working well---it never got cold, just room temperature. The room, though expensive at over $225 a night, was poorly designed and felt cramped and narrow. Due to all the tour groups, the restaurant was packed with people at breakfast, and the waiting lines were too long. We shouldn't have to wait over half an hour just to get breakfast. The poor waiters were running back and forth---it created a very stressful situation.

This hotel was not on par with other Sofitel hotels we’ve been to. There was a big stain on the couch in our room and the sheets smelled badly like they had been left wet too long. The room and carpets are dated and this doesn’t give the impression of a 4-star hotel. The pool was also not great, many of the lights in the pool area were out leading it to be quite dark.

The location of the Sofitel is very good, near the Medina and Casa Port plus other nice places to eat and look around.

Cons: The rooms are dated, the restaurant/bar has zero ambience, the staff were not particularly helpful (except the porters who were great) or interested and there was a problem with the drain/plumbing in our room which kept us up for hours, yet when we mentioned this to the staff they did not even respond.

No refunds, cannot cancel and the manager is no where to be found. They did not allow us to cancel and no refund. On the last day when we were about to leave, they are offering a free breakfast. The Sofitel staff were extremely welcoming. Casablanca Morocco, Sofitel Tour Blanche My wife and I just concluded a 8 days trip to Casablanca where we stayed at the Sofitel Tour Blanche. Our positive experience started a couple of weeks ahead of our arrival where I worked with Mr Jawad to develop our local itinerary to include using the hotel taxi to pick us and drop us off to the airport. Our stay was wonderful, the whole Sofitel staff made us feel at home. Mr Abdel Rahim was super helpful arranging our restaurant reservations and giving us tips on using local taxis. In fact I would not be exaggerating to say that all the staff we encountered carried a welcoming smile and addressed us by name. The Sofitel team arranged a one day trip to Marrakech with the hotel taxi. The driver, Mr Hakim, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Besides speaking multiple languages, his knowledge of the area is impressive and his command of the history of Morocco was enriching. My wife and I are seasoned travelers and have been to Asia pacific, Europe, South America and the Middle East. I would be only fare to rate the Sofitel team at 10/10. Thank you Sofitel team you are Mizian.

It was a bad deal from supposed to be a 5 * hotel. First two nights, I was given a room with poor lighting, can´t read a map or a book. Air condioning was not working. Balance of my stay upgraded to a suite by Mrs Iman. However, the hotel is in the middle of a construction site, scary to get out of the hotel, you may be killed by moving heavy equipment. Hotel itself had no gym, swimming pool, some restaurants due to repairs? 5 * facilities were not provided. Last day, 17 Nov. breakfast were not available at 06:30 as advertised. I had to leave hotel at 07:00 hrs to leave country.

Cons: Not having to deal with above problems

I’ve stayed at the Sofitel a few times now. I love the rooms, the layout and amenities, and the restaurant -particularly for dinner -is first class. However, the hotel is older and each room I stayed in had some minor problems - broken wall panels, broken sinks, mysterious dripping- that just come from age. If this kind of thing bothers you, stay at a newer hotel.

Good location at the edge of Medina. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is average for the cost. Dinner is of good quality. Somewhat expensive, the restaurant is basically an extension of the lobby. Great views from the high-up floors. Very easy to get a taxi cab. Security personnel totally irrational. A friend of mine with an extended stay due to a later flight needed help with luggage packing, but his other friend who checked out a couple of hours earlier was not allowed to come up inside for a few more moments to assist with the packing of the souvenirs. The whole thing left a sour taste.

Room was fine and what I expected. The service was not great. I went to breakfast one morning at 7 and there was no one to wait on me. It took 39 minutes to get a cup of coffee. The concierge staff was also not great and clear. I got the sense that they were in cahoots with the vendors. Also one morning we requested a taxi to get to train station, they were so busy trying to get the business themselves that by the time they got around to calling the taxi we missed the train and had to get later train and we had previously planned a tour bin Tangier which was deflated by an hour so we had to rush through our day

Cons: See my comments above. Issues with service. Issues with concierge. Not sure I will stay at that hotel in the future. Stayed at another hotel for my last night in Casa, which was pre planned, and happy I did. That hotel was amazing!

Loved the staff! they are the 1st impression and only impression..so no matter how beautiful the hotel is, if the staff is not helpful or friendly, it would not be somewhere where I would stay..so yes.. I give them a 10 for their staff ! I took the view of the mosque and my God! what a view ! Breakfast was super nice! Great location, all nearby. the toiletries ..Amazing!

Cons: 1 thing I didn't like was that we were on the 15th floor and the window opens without barriers.. I had my 2 year old grandson that found it and I had a panic attack! So please atleast put barriers so on one can fall down. I little disappointment was the pool, which was not heated and we were with children who wanted to use the facilities but it was too cold.. so maybe have a jacuzzi and a nice heated pool..

Staff at the restaurant were very polite

Cons: I checked-in with (2 twin beds) in my reservation. The guy at the reception told me the request cannot be made and gave a lame excuse. I entered the room only to find a broken safety box (alarming sign!), refrigerator was not working, phone was not functional. I had to step down in order to reach the reception. Instantly, to cover it up, I was offered a room with twin beds by someone else and the reception guy disappeared!! Their rooms were humid and not comfortable. Shower water was cold. This hotel is going through a major renovation, the restaurant / bar at the rooftop is closed. Do not request them to pick you up from the airport. I e-mailed them and no one responded. I had to call the hotel internationally to arrange! I was offered one price for the pickup, and once arrived, they increased the price! I requested to meet the hotel manager to voice out all these concerns, he asked me if I liked the music playing in the background and he danced to it as if we were in a club. I find it a very immature and childish behavior coming from such high position in a 5 star hotel. And.... he did nothing, literally nothing. Stay away.

Highly motivated staff, well mannered and helpful. Very generous food portions and options weather at buffet and in room dining. General area is clean.

Cons: Choosing dark coloured tiles and walls reduces room area perception. Room lights needs to be up graded. House keeping systems controls needs to be reviewed. I left my room prior 1:00pm and returned back late at night around 11:00pm and it was never cleaned although I left the clean the room light illuminated which means there was no evening service. I wish also to have more pillow options.

It was a great hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful specialy the reception and the room service staff. What really amazed about the hospitality was that with the wake up call for my flight at 5am mr.zakariya from the front desk offered me an early breakfast before I leave which is already included in the room and was kind enough to ask me what specifically they can arrange for me (breakfast). Thank you to everyone who made my stay at Sofitel (from reception: pMs.Wisal, Mr.Abdilrahim Mr.Zakariya and from roomservice : Mr.Hassan, Mr.Abdullah,Mrs.Karima and Ms.Hind from breakfast buffet and the security guard: Mr.Mahjoob). By the way I was upgraded to a suit #(1900) for free which was a very kind welcome gift for me. Note this is my first time to stay at Sofitel Casablanca and definitely won't be my last. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family from now on. Thank you Sofitel

I am horribly upset with this hotel. It’s a wreck to be honest. It’s falling apart. No one there cares about quality control. When I checked out I met the manager. He gave me his card and apologized about the ness that is the hotel. He said he would speak to Expedia and get me a refund. He gave me his card. Jerome lobier. Since then I have heard nothing from him. I emailed 2 days ago and still nothing. Why meet someone and then lie to my face???? So let me tell you about some of the problems here. The bed mattress topper is a queen size on top of a king size bed. Is the hotel too cheap to pay for a matching set? The topper ends about a foot short on each side so if you roll over in your sleep you feel like you’re falling out. I didn’t sleep at all the first night. Then we got moved to a “better” room. Room 2004 I believe and what a mess. They should be ashamed of this suite. The rubber insulation is literally falling out of the window so it can’t close fully. We loved hearing honking car horns at 3am that felt like they were right outside the window. Not to mention there were always at least 3 flies buzzing around the room at all times that came in through the unable to close window. Nothing says luxury like flies buzzing in a room that’s filled with traffic noises. Every one of the couch/furniture pieces had big cigarette burns . It reminded us of a 30 year old hotel in Vegas. It might have been good at some point but that time had long past.

Le service est irréprochable le seul grand point négatif c’est l’état déplorable des vitres et les baies qui étaient extrêmement sales .

The hotel is situated in a very dirty location. My room was overlooking a construction site. The room smelt of stale and old air. Service incredibly poor. Staff have an Arrogant way about them. Specially the restaurant staff Food is extremely poor quality . My hamburger was served with cold and suggy french fries. Awful experience for €29 burger over charged . Cutlery and crockery is the cheapest I have ever seen in any hotel. Road side cafe has better quality . Breakfast is extremely poor . In selection and quality . My poached egg arrived stone cold. It was served to me from the batch that was made perhaps 4 hours before it was served to me. In general this hotel GM and managers don’t give a dam about thier standard. I was placed for my meeting in a cornier of thier lobby restaurant with no light. We asked five times for lights to be switched on, but nothing and no one cared.

For a 5-star rating room conditions were not acceptable. The furniture, carpets etc. very very “used” and need urgent rehabilitation, refurbishment etc.

Staff was a bit overbearing clearly after tips. Ammeneties are better elsewhere in the city...as is food. This is a great spot if youre not looking for a Moroccan experience and want to have a European holiday.

Nice service, friendly staff. I would like to send special thank notes to the hotel staff, Wissal and Lida. When I walked in the hotel, the front desk staff, Wissal and Lina, are super nice and helpful. They answered all my questions and give me a lot of good suggestions and information about Casablanca and Sofitel. They made sure I was comfortable and happy with what the hotel can offer.

We requested twin beds and they changed our rooms three times and we never did get twins. Abdgrrahim and Mohammed were very helpful. Abdgrrahim did everything possible to make our stay a good experience. The staff did not follow instructions as to twin beds. We had a car and guide provided for a day. The staff failed to tell us we would pay for car service from airport when we were already paying by the hour for the same driver with the guide We ended up paying for a car service for airport when we were already paying him by the hour for his car for guide. We ended up paying double

Amazing staff. Ali, Reda and Omar assisted with everything we needed or wanted. We stayed in a few other places in Morocco and this staff was by far the best. Great view of the Hassan Mosque.

Staff with genuine Moroccan hospitality make this hotel a cut above! Everyone we encountered was amazing. Add in a great location, beautiful and colorful decor, and a Wow breakfast buffet. I’d come back to Morocco just to spend time with these people!

Beautiful property near Casablanca’s market. We were greeted with tea and Moroccan sweets. The staff is welcoming and very helpful.

I was a single mother traveling with two boys in Morocco. We HATED Morocco and we just needed to get to a nice hotel we felt secure in. We landed at the Sofitel. The staff went above and beyond. They knew how bad our trip had been and they treated us to the penthouse suite so we could have some good memory of Morocco. It was the only good memory we have at the place. The staff was beyond superior I highly recommend this hotel. Because we were too afraid to go out we ended up eating in the hotel and the food was great. Only Moroccan meal we had while there.

This is a 3*, not 5* hotel. Smelly dark rooms. However, the breakfast reflects what you get in 5* hotel.

Nice location as most things Casablanca has to offer, which is very little, are nearby. One must not expect nice surroundings around the hotel but such is Casablanca. Room is spacious and clean but I am not sure I agree with the dark decor in the facilities area. Be careful of the slippery shower area! It is not my first stay in this hotel but it was rather short, i.e about 14 hours, so did not have time to try other services the hotel offers.

The rooftop bar provides a great view of the city and mosque. Go at sunset. Bistro restaurant provided good break from tagine and couscous.

The location is good though the neighborhood seems rundown. The room we had was a deluxe room. Overall a good room and the view was amazing.

This hotel was a respite in the middle of hectic Casablanca. There is lot of construction in the city so I would not walk anywhere. Lots of taxis outside to the Port , La Corniche and other parts of the city. You can walk to the old Medina for some shopping. The staff and manager at the front desk and the breakfast area and bar were all polite and helpful. Clean rooms and wonderful breakfast. Small shop 2 mins away to buys water, etc. Highly recommend this hotel.
