Posizione ottima Colazione buona Staff molto disponibile e gentile

Stanza silenziosa e pulita.

Near main road inside medina, good staff, breakfast was average - only local pancake with coffee and juice. No unpleasant smell in the room or riad so I had a good stay. Riad decoration is fairly beautiful

Cons: Water flow is not good so water doesnt drain well in shower. The shower floor also doesnt look very clean (better to bring slippers). The location is not very reachable if you prefer public transport as it is inside medina and it is fair because I knew this before booking.

Cons: No me gusto nada.

Traditional riad, not too far from market streets of Medina.

Cons: Not so easy to find, and unfortunately the mood was ruined by a boy that followed us even when we said we dont need help, then he blocked the door, didnt let us press the doorbell unless we pay, then tried to lie that the hotel is not there but its very far away.. we of course didnt pay, and got to ring the bell afterwards. Not the hotells fault, but be careful. In Marrakech (and Fes) its very typical that people will try to scam you by showing way (you never asked for) or even lying about things when they dont even get anything out of it (ex. Sends you other direction, tells that road is closed etc).

The Riad is fantastic! It’s centrally located, clean rooms, comfy beds and lovely en-suites. The thing that really makes this property is the host- Ayoub! He is just fantastic, he organised trips for us, brought us to the best value currency exchanges, got us best prices on tours, found us when the bus dropped in the wrong location - even showing up with an umbrella because it was raining! Lots of recommendations and just generally a really friendly and reassuring host! He definitely made our trip better! Thank you Ayoub! We will definitely be back!

It was a cozy stay at Riad Dar Saba with the hotel host Ayoub. He helped us with everything, gave great tips, and was the best host. This riad had a somewhat lower standard than we expected — the room was noisy due to non-fully sealed windows/doors, and the room were cold but could easily be fixed by the AC. The shower was hard to manually regulate the heat of the water. It was very nice to be served breakfast every morning, but the portions were small and almost exactly the same every day. It would have been lovely to have some fruit, vegetables, or maybe something sweet included. Overall, it was a cozy and pleasant stay that felt very genuine and warm. I would definitely recommend this Riad!

Let's start with the positives Ayoub was fantastic and could not do enough for us. The riad is a walking distance from the market which was fantastic. Now for the negatives the pictures are deceptive it is not what is looks like and definately needs some renovation. The road to the riad is dirty and smelly. We asked for a triple room and the room we were given was definately not big enough for 3 people. The room needed renovation with paint cracks and tile cracks. The bathroom was smelly and was in need of renovation when we complained we were given air spay and we had to constantly spray the bathroom to get rid of the smell. In my opinion that room should not be used until it is renovated and on reflection we should have refused the room. Tola

Ok, bad stuff first. The approach to the Riad will give some people the heeby-jeebies, a narrow lane which goes under several buildings. As a guy I was ok with it but my mother wouldn't have stayed there because of it. Check which room they're giving you. The main ones looked good but I was in the shack on the roof that looked like it had been put together by his mate Dave on a Friday afternoon. They shouldn't be letting it out; dodgy electrics, and, no hot water! Said he'd look into it but there never was. Ok in September but maybe not in April. The room is right next to the roof terrace, so every evening people going past the window and they always left all the lights on.Good stuff; Ayoub was lovely, and the breakfasts also very good. It's a budget place and you get what you pay for but don't stay in the shed on the roof.

Ayoub is a wonderful host. He will do everything he can to ensure you have a comfortable stay. It's also super close to the souks.

Cons: The room windows face the atrium, so anybody making noise can be easily heard, and you'll likely want to keep your windows shut at all times which makes for a dark room (and still doesn't help with the sound). No TV.

I think the best thing about this accommodation is Ayoub. He makes you feel like you’re home, and helps you in literally ANYTHING he can. You feel so welcomed and comfortable here and it is thank to him. The rooms are tidied daily, and you can tell they clean regularly and deeply. The location couldn’t be better, you’re just 15 min away from Jemaa el-Fna. But there are many shops in the area so It is a very easy area to spend your holidays in. And it is also quiet so you can rest very well. The temperature inside the rooms is nice even if you don’t turn on the A/C but if you want to, every room is equipped with one which is very convenient for the heat hours. We loved it here, and would recommend it to anybody! Thank you Ayoub!

I stayed in Riad Dar Saba at the beginning of June. This is a beautiful historical riad that maintains the ambiance of the past. My room was on the third level with access to an open terrace. The room was comfortable and clean, and the air-conditioning worked quietly. In general, the room was very quiet, so I woke up to the sound of birds singing. The riad is very well located: it is only a 5-minute walk from a large parking space. This makes it easy to be found by your tour guide if you book a tour. There are always taxis available at that spot. The host, Ayub, is very nice and speaks both English and French. He can help organize a tour and is always available if you need something. I enjoyed staying at Dar Saba a lot and would consider it for a real holiday to enjoy Marrakesh and its surroundings.

This is one of the best stays I’ve had. The rooms were private, clean and well kept. The WiFi was excellent and the room had air conditioning which worked great. The owner is really kind and was able to arrange an affordable ride to and from the airport even though both were respectively late at night and early in the morning. A great breakfast with coffee and juice was served every morning and was much needed. He also gave me a recommendation for dinner which was my favorite meal on the trip. When I was tired one night he was also able to order delivery for me. While I was first nervous about booking this place due to the location it actually was perfect in a sense. It is close to a road so that you don’t have to wander into the crowded Medina when you first arrive. Granted it is a bit of a walk to the main square and sights like Bahia palace, but it’s mainly through the Medina (something that you’d want to do anyway) but it is also really close to worth-while sights such as the museum of confluences and secret garden.

Cons: Sometimes the shower didn’t drain well and the staircase was a bit small, and the ceiling is low in places. But these are pretty standard in Riads and just added to the charm of the place

First of all the staff was very helpful! He replied to every question we had both face to face and through messages immediately... He was very willing to help! Also the location of the riad was very close to the center! The breakfast was satisfying as well!

Cons: The room was little airless due to the architecture of the building, but other then that it was very okay!

Had a great stay here. Ayoub was a great host who was very helpful with arranging a day trip and taxi to airport. For the price of the room was great and breakfast was lovely. Very nice small Riad down a quiet street but really close to the main medina (only a few minutes walk). Would definitely stay here again.

An amazing week in this beautiful Riad. Wonderfully located near souks, the best restaurants in the Medina (you must try La Terrace Ben Youssef) and a taxi rank for exploring wider afield. Our host was always happy to offer advice, food and smiles and the Riad cat is truly beautiful! Room was comfortable (beds are hard but in a great way) and were cleaned daily. After the initial shock of arriving in such a different world, you feel incredibly safe here. I do recommend you take them up on their offer for an airport taxi as it is tricky to find your way when you first arrive. And they'll happily organise all your excursions, too. They also cook a great dinner if you don't fancy exploring the Medina.

Aybou (sorry if have name wrong!) was our main contact there and he was really friendly and extremely helpful when we had any queries - ie advised on fair taxi prices when going somewhere so we knew we weren't going to be completely ripped off! We mainly ate out when we were in Marrakech, but did have breakfast a couple of times and was a tasty basic continental style. Location was great and a large taxi rank was a minute's walk away from the riad this was where min bus picked you up for day trips too, so very handy! The room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. If you're looking for somewhere really flash, this wouldn't be for you but it suited us perfectly and was very reasonably price. Both my friend and I said we would look to stay here again if back in Marrakech

Cons: There was a problem with the boiler on the 1st night we arrived, but this wasn't a big issue as they were really apologetic and put us in another room while they got the problem sorted. It was fixed the next day and we had no more problems with it. these things happen and they dealt with it really well!

Cosy clean and secure low budget accommodation Manager Ajoub is a fantastic host and arranged transfer from airport, met us outside and walked us the short distance to the Riad Ajoub gave us his number and great directions and information for exploring the souks and local sights. He even went as far as to look out for us returning as its very easy to lose your bearings. Breakfast was delicious, juice, fresh coffee, local pancakes, bread and jams. We wanted to do an excursion to the desert including a camel ride and quad biking and Ajoub arranged it for the day including transport and a traditional berber meal after sunset and amazing entertainment in the Agafey desert. It was FANTASTIC! And only around £40 each! Highly recommended and saves worrying about organising from tour operators elsewhere We cannot thank Ajoub enough for his warm hospitality and friendliness Five stars *****

The location is good, in walking distance from the tourist attractions, the bedding was confortable, there was an AC in the room (not working 100%, but if you left it working for the whole night, it was ok), the breakfast was tasty and the staff was nice and helpful.

Cons: In one of the rooms, the AC wasn't working at all, but we found a heater in the lobby, the water pressure was very low and the temperature was off too

The host was very kind, helpful and was always there to help you. The location was good. The room was a bit noisy, you can hear everything as there is a gap between the wall and the door.

Cons: The door of the room was a bit of a disappointment as it feels like you do not have a lot of privacy. Hopefully they can fix this.

The rooms here were great. Small and charming Riad. It’s a little bit far from the main square but if you enjoy exploring the medina it’s an interesting walk. Staff are very helpful! We didn’t have time to try the breakfast but it is offered as an extra.

Great location, owner was really helpful. The riad was a little hard to locate, but the signs on the streets helped greatly. It is great location to walk to the Medina and other attractions. There is a car park allotted near by as well.

Cons: The room is extremely tiny. We were a couple sharing it and with our luggage, we were barely able to move. The plumbing seems to be a little older, and water pressure was not the best in the shower. There was a single blanket provided, which honestly wasn't the best material and made skin itch. The lighting definitely needs to be upgraded as well.

Riad der Saba is a cozy and very nice place to stay. The host will do everything for you, even in the middle of the night, where we had problems in the airport. The room was not big, but the bed was excellent, and the bathroom ok. The breakfast was simple, but if you want you can get the kitchen to prepare other things (of course you then have to pay extra). The dinner at the Riad was good too. Thank for a very nice stay

We had a family holiday and used 3 of the 5 rooms. It is a small riad, buth everything is present. Location very good, near the souk! You really have to search for the very narrow street. Taxi's around the corner, restaurants nearby. Breakfast is simpel, if you reserve, you can also have a simpel dinner. The best is the manager, the always present and most helpful Ayoub! He helps with everything in and around his riad, bravo!

hospitable and helpful host Ayoub, great cook Fatima( must try her delicious couscous!) personal nature of a small riad inside the medina. An excellent budget base for exploration of Marrakech and other areas. Nothing fancy, but a pleasant experience ( I stayed 5 nights in 2 rooms)Would go back again. Ayoub arranged for 4am transfer to airport, and driver came to the door and helped with luggage and walk out the dark alley a distance to car parking Thank you Ayoub!

Cons: like many riads inside the maze of the medina, not accessible by taxi, it was a bit difficult to find. There was noise transfer. And the bathroom plaster and paint needs attention. Suggest another sign at the main road.

Did not like my stay at all, the pictures are very misleading, sheets on the bed did not feel clean, they were thin and we could not get comfortable at all, stayed for 5 days and our room was only cleaned once. The Riad was old and so were all the furniture, the furniture needed a good cleaning, place was taken over by a group of loud women who liked being very loud, I didn’t think it was a place for groups, it was only a small place. Was happy when we left, stayed in Morocco for a month and this was the only Riad I was disappointed in

I (f) was travelling with my 12 year old son. We stayed 3 fabulous nights and will definitely return again. They fantastic customer service from the manager started before we arrived. We received an email from him asking if we had Organised transfers from the airport or if we would like him to order taxi for us. We already had organised taxi ourselves but, he gave us his number and told us to give it to the driver and ask him to call him. He then met us from the taxi and walked us round to the Riad. The Riad was lovely and we were very happy there but, it was the customer service that really made it. I will give only a few examples or I will be writing all day. On our first morning (we arrived late Saturday night) he showed us the way to the start of souks which was only a few minutes walk. He advised us to download an offline map and made sure that we had his number saved in WhatsApp. Breakfast was great. My 12 year old son is a bit of a fussy eater but, he loved it. Our flight home was in the evening. When I asked if we could leave our bags, the answer was "of course". We just left them in our room and he brought them down. While we were out for the day, I realised that we needed to have our boarding passes printed not, just shown on the phone. I message the riad manager to ask if he knew a place where I could get them printed. He asked he to send them to him and he would sort it for us. Nothing was too much trouble and these are only a few examples. I felt safe here. I didn't think twice about leaving my passports of money in the room. I will definitely return again and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

Room was smaller then expected. Plenty of storage though. Doors and windows have wide spaces so no privacy. In the sense that everything can be heard inside and outside the room. First morning waking up heard people having breakfast and loud conversation. We were on a first floor room. The walls were peeling and the chalk residue all over our clothes. Bathroom needs maintenance. Water stains, peeling paint, toilet broken and smell of sewer. Breakfast was basic. Wifi was alright. The best things of the stay was the bed. Most comfortable bed i have slept in while in morocco. Good place for just sleep.

Very close to the souks and town center. It is an experience to walk from the parking place to the Riad. One can see the real life of the people. The Riad is very clean, cosy and quiet. Riad dar saba has potential to be a comfortable stay, but unfortunately fell short of reaching this, mainly due to the customer service provided. Upon check in we were made to feel uncomfortable, unwelcome and as if we were an annoyance, any questions were met with disdain and eye rolls from the receptionist Leila. It is immediately clear she does not enjoy the customer facing side of her role. Regrettably, this was not the end of our strange interactions with Leila. We were awoken during our first night at 12:30am by yelling and laughter that continued for 15 minutes. Thinking it was other guests we went to investigate and ask if they could be quiet as we had an early start the next morning. At this point we were surprised to find Leila herself making the noise along with some others. Leila then pretended as if there had been no racket whatsoever and feigned confusion. Given the walls are paper thin and every noise can be heard in the riad, I am certain we weren't the only guests awoken by the noise she was creating. It was a very bizarre situation. It is also worth mentioning that the WiFi signal on the second floor is so poor it is unusable. It is marginally better on the first floor. On a positive note, Ayoub who works at night is very kind and helpful. He is a complete contrast to Leila and was always polite and eager to help us. The included breakfast Ayoub prepared was also nice. I would not recommend Riad dar saba.

Located right in the old mud brick town, this Riad is a dream. Made from a series of old houses it is magical and is multi-levelled with rooms scattered across several floors and buildings, with plenty of unique and wonderful communal rooms to explore. The town itself is the main reason you probably came to the region so is not to be missed, and there is a thriving industry of restaurants and shops in the new town to fulfil all your needs. Ourzazate is the largest town in the area and so it tends to get all the glory, but when it comes to the real experience of mud brick constructed kasbahs and medinas, Ait ben Haddouh is where it's at! Even many of the photographs used to promote Ourzazate are actually of Ait ben Haddou. The staff are warm and super helpful. To be balanced, because there is almost no electricity in the old town, things get quiet later at night, but that makes it a star gazers paradise. Cleanliness would have been given top marks except for a passing sandstorm, after which everyone is cleaning dust. If you come to the region, DO NOT miss this town!

The Riad was in the heart of Medina, a pretty looking older style building. We loved the breakfast every morning. Ayoub, is very professional but friendly. Unfortunately, Leila, was not as professional. She seemed to be out of her depth and complained a lot about being tired, we felt like we could not approach her after a while. She also did try to force excursions on us and criticize our choices and plans while in Marrackech. What was even sadder was, to hear her discussing guests and their information with new guests. She was also very loud and the first staff member that you would hear early in the morning and late at night. Her approach made our stay uncomfortable. It is a shame because Ayoub was the total opposite and lovely when he was around. The Wifi at the property is unstable, it would be good if this could be improved. Also, if you are a light sleeper this may not be the place for you, you can hear everything. Our sleep was disturbed. This is an affordable place, basic amenities, great location. Ayoub and Fatima work hard. All in all, Morocco is lovely, you have the old and the new. The people are very friendly and the food tastes great. It is affordable too. I would recommend a trip there. I would not stay at the Riad again unless Wifi was improved and Management was left to Ayoub or someone more courteous.

I got there and had to wait 30 minutes before someone could come check me into a room even though it was 4 in the afternoon. I was okay with that. Then since I was tired, I asked where I could get something to eat and they said they could fix me something. I said okay and when I got up to my room, I thought I better see how much it costs and found a menu and the only thing was a meal for 9 euros which was a little higher then I wanted to spend but I was really tired. The bathroom had a really bad musty smell which never went away the whole time. When I got up to pay for my meal the next morning before leaving, they charged me 20 euroas saying they served me beef instead of chicken even though they had no beef on the menu. I paid 21 euros for the room. Never again. I should have asked but since menu upstairs said 9 euros, I assumed.

Nice welcome and huge room for the price. Decent confory. Mind your head on the arch outside the main door, cut my head badly standing up when leaving for the first time, luckily some locals helped with a first aid kit. Location down a dark street from where taxis drop off. Left early the next morning so didn't get to try breakfast

Great little riad in the heart of the medina. Souks and main square walkable. The host very welcoming and helpful. The room and bed comfy. The A/C excellent as it was 40c plus in Marrakech in June. Bathroom nice and good shower. Very quiet location down a side street in real Marrakech/medina area.

The administrator makes all the difference for this riad. I was travelling on my own and was very reassured when I met Ayoub, the administrator. He was very helpful and kind, especially that my trip didn't really start off as planned... He attends to all the guests and might not be always around, but he was always around when I needed smth otherwise he would try to advise,or help in any way he could. I think it's a rather good option for a fair price in the area, and that's mainly because of his friendly approach. Room-wise, I would have liked to have white towels, as you're used to have when travelling, coloured towels just make you a bit uncomfortable.. Also, I spilled some oil on a white sheet and was kindly asked to be more careful as it's hard to remove .. ouch:).. Dont' really get why it would be hard to remove, whites must be cleaned with strong detergents, especially in Marrakech where there's dust & oil everywhere. Anyway, breakfast is not very rich, but it'll do.. Some diversity would be nice though.

Extremely impressed with Riad. Very professional staff, helpful and kind. Feels like home! Excellent facilities, very clean throughout the Riad, nice room (bit small) but very well decorated and furnished. Clean, pleasant bathroom. Well worth the spend! Enjoyed every minute of stay. Would love to stay here again.

Stayed for two nights in Jan 2016, lovely little hotel in old city with peaceful interiors and traditional decor. It takes you to another time and Era. Courteous hotel staff though English language is a challenge as in most of Morocco. Easy to get to old city, souks and square though be wary of extra helpful locals who want you to buy into their shops and will be aggressive with single travelers esp females.

A really nice riad, lovely rooms, friendly staff. We were greeted with sweet mint tea on arrival, and the staff member sat down with us with a map and showed us where to go, what to see, etc. Overall a lovely experience!

Good hotel nice and clean and in good location. Only thing that let it down slightly was the friendliness of the hosts hadn't been as gushing as I have previously experienced in medina but still a very pleasant stay and superb breakfast.

Very pleasant Riad. I booked the room on the topfloor, quiet and cosy.I recommend if you plan to go on a tour ( i.e. Zagora ) to book with their partner, follow the link ( our partners )on their website. I booked the tour and paid for it in the Riad. The airport transfer for my arrival I also organized within minutes via email. I would return again.

My room was located on the first floor which has windows to the courtyard where people can have breakfast and dinner. It can be slightly noisy if you want a quiet experience but most riads have this issue. Other riads I have seen all have a courtyard with rooms adjacent. The room and bathroom were clean and beautiful. I'm a single traveller and felt safe, although I didn't go out after dark. The riad is located down an alleyway which can be scary in the dark. But again, most other riads have this issue. The location is great if you want to be away from the noise of the main square but close enough to walk to in 10 mins. The meal I ordered was delicious, I recommend it for a lovely evening in.

If you want a morrocan experience this is a great option! The staff are friendly and rooms are clean and comfy! It has mod cons like wifi and wonderful showers in the rooms. The location is a little scary to begin with as its down an alley but you soon get used to it! The riad is very close to the souks as well as great restaurants!

Truthfully, this was the best hotel my partner and I have ever stayed at! The hotel was clean and quaint. It is tucked away in a corner of Marrakech, which gives it charm and makes it much quieter than other Riads in the Medina center! The staff are incredible and helped us all the time. They even went and bought us our bus tickets and hailed us taxis for local rates instead of tourist rates! We would recommend this to anyone traveling to Morocco and will return to stay here in the future!

Very good and quiet stay in April. A bit difficult to find initially because the streets are not necessary labelled especially in the medina, but turned out ok with a helpful local, and some advance planning using an online map. The manager speaks English, French and Arabic and is quite helpful. Room was very clean. Property has wifi but no TV - but who needs it when on holiday haha. Breakfast had some very delicious fare. If you want dinner, book by the morning. If you want to go on a desert safari they will arrange for you - though because you will be spending at least one night in the desert (no day trips available) you may lose out on one night's stay - so plan ahead. A one-night-sleeping-in-the-desert safari cost 50 euros.

We had to leave one night before even though we had paid (and could not be reimbursed) because we couldn't sleep due to the humidity and lack of aeration in the room. We had a room on the de bottom floor that was very small and it had only one little window for aeration. The window was in the bathroom and gave directly to the courtyard where everyone has their breakfast, tea etc and therefore there is no privacy at all. It felt like we couldn't make any noise as everyone would hear! But the worst is that you really feel that you are like in a humid dark cave! I am not sure about the rooms in the upper floors, but definitely do not take a room in the bottom floor!

We had problems with our flight and car hire and the staff could not do more to help. The Riad itself is a lovely little place from which you can access the souks and main square reasonably easily. It is a little difficult to find first time so I would contact the riad and arrange a pick up or to meet one of the staff somewhere nearby.

I was super skeptical about this hotel (I'm this way in general) and didn't go in with the highest expectations, but I upon arriving, I was very very pleased and my expectations were exceeded! Now when you first arrive, it's difficult to find if you don't have someone to help you (and help is difficult in Morocco). But after you understand where you are in relation to the city center, it's very easy to get to and out of the way of Morocco's hustle and bustle. The staff are VERY nice and courteous, the food delicious, the room comfortable, spacious and cool (air conditioner, ahhhh!!! :). It's a very quaint family owned hotel and I can't say enough good things about it. I'd stay again!

It was hot in the height of summer. The Riad was a little air-conditioned Oasis where I could return to and regenerate. The staff were helpful and friendly. The Riad is easy to find on foot from the central square (as I couldn't justify the twenty euro pick-up fee) and the alleys are well labelled. It was one of only a few pleasant things about my stay in Marrakech.

Very nice place, very clean, nice decoration, good service, located in a hard place to find and feels a little bit unsafe to get there, even though nothing ever happened to us. Breakfast is included and a very nice one.

We had a good experience at this riad for the cost. It was very difficult to find, we had to tip a local to take us there but it had a cozy atmosphere when we arrived. Nice host.

We stayed at Riad Dar Saba for a week on and off as we did various trips out of Marrakech. The riad is very clean and Mohammed took the time to show us on the map where we were and how to get to the main square after we arrived. We also booked a 3-day safari tour through the riad and were impressed. As others noted, you will have many people trying to "help" you with directions when you arrive, but we just ignored them and found it on our own. It's not far from the main parking lot and the directions are pretty good once you can find the street.

We received excellent service and assistance during our stay at this Riad. Mohammad was always willing to help with directions and advice as well as organising our return taxi to the airport and holding our luggage at the Riad whilst we travelled elsewhere. The food from a set menu was excellent, the rooftop terrace privately secluded suntrap and the place has a very relaxing atmosphere to it. If anything, the one issue is that the place is so quiet that noise does travel in and out of the rooms very easily. A couple of reviews have said this place is hard to find, but that is Marrakesh for you and it is not that hard at all - we would advise you ask the riad to arrange transport from the airport to their front door to avoid the hassle of finding it for the first time.
