The staff, especially Cheima, was lovely and couldn't do more to help. The hotel has a fantastic position, 2 minutes walk to the Jamaa El Fna.

Cons: The Riad Is on one of the busiest roads leading to the square so it is extremely, extremely noisy. Expect voices, music, peddling and drums well into the early morning. In our first room (older wing) we spent the first night battling cockroaches. We wanted to leave but they upgraded us to a suite in the newer wing which was quieter and didn't come with a pest infestation. The suite was big and very nice but the beds are ROCK HARD, so beware. Don't come expecting a Riad experience, this is a big hotel with many elements of traditional architecture but mixed with modern standard design.

Passez votre chemin.

Staff were very nice and helpful and the hotel has an excellent location to see the centre and all the Medina and zouks. Breakfast was good with warm traditional food made for you right in the moment. We also had one lunch in the hotel and NYE dinner and the food was delicious. The riad had a very traditional feel and decoration, it is nice and beautiful.

Cons: We were very unlucky as our bedroom was very close to the kitchen, so we could hear everything until late at night. We asked to change our bedroom, and the staff at reception were very helpful and accommodating and offered us to move to a different bedroom. Unfortunately, this bedroom had a leak from the air conditioner that was dropping to the wall and floor, so we had to come back to our previous bedroom as there were no other bedrooms available. As we stayed for NYE, we had to have NYE dinner at the hotel, at the cost of 120€ per person. We were told to come to reception at 10pm to receive the music band and then go upstairs to the terrace and start dinner. However, when we went to the reception, we were told that plans had changed and to go upstairs directly. When we arrived, we found our reserved table was taken and mostly everybody was already having dinner. The service was very slow, we and other people around us were waiting a very long time for food. We started eating at 10:30 and finished at 1pm, after midnight, at this point we were just tired and we wanted to finish and go. It was very unfortunate as the environment was good and we were looking forwards to this dinner so much, but due to delays and poor service, it wasn't a great experience, specially after paying 120€ pp. On the morning before leaving, we asked in reception if we could book a taxi to go to the airport. We paid 20€ upfront and booked it for 12pm, however when we arrived, the taxi was not booked, and the receptionist called the taxi company at that point for them to come. After the taxi driver came walking to the hotel, he took us to the street where the normal taxi stop is. I am glad I asked before getting into the taxi, as the taxi driver said the taxi was not paid, and I needed to pay 10€ for the trip. I had to run back to the Hotel were luckily we were given our money back so we could pay the taxi. I would avoid booking taxis with this Hotel.

Cons: We booked the transfer from the airport but no one came. When we wrote from bookings that said they would send a driver but didn’t so we waited another 30 minutes before we took a cab. When we reached the hotel the receptionists was pretty nonchalant about it. Said that we would get warm tee since we had been standing in the rain but it never came. The room was cold and the aircon didn’t work.

The staff in the restaurant(s) were hard-working and always pleasant. Well done!

Cons: A supposedly deluxe room: no mini fridge, no telephone link to reception, no room service... Hmmm. A very pokey room. The fixtures, fittings, furniture all looked tired, scuffed, stained (especially in the restaurant areas). Not worth the money. I would visit Marrakech again (I think), but I would not stay here again.

Review for SPA: A lovely gentleman working in one of the local restaurants recommended this spa for a massage. He translated for us at the desk and they all agreed 300 dirham for 60 minutes. After he left the ladies at the reception insisted on 350. There is a massive language barrier but using a translation app, we explained to them that this was what was agreed and out of principle, they should not be elevating their prices after. They hesitantly accepted however instead of receiving 60 minutes of a massage we only received 30. The lady kept disappearing in between to serve other customers and started another gentleman’s hammam at the same time in the other room which I could hear very clearly through the door. They also let us sit in the dark for about 15 minutes at the end so in all we only received 30 minutes of actual massage. Definitely do not recommend. Disappointed by the dishonesty, integrity and quality of the massage.

So, this was recommended by staff at a restaurant we went to. Went with my friend today 11th Sept. We agreed a deal for full body massage 1 hour via his translation. Well, what an absolute disappointment to say the least! The price was disputed by the manager when we had agreed the price and we only received 30 mins massage where the lady kept disappearing thus only getting 30 mins from an hour!!! No refreshments offered. I do not recommend this place and we will not visit again any time soon!!

Excellent location, Friendly welcoming staff (especially thankful to Shaima who got our room prepared for early check-in). Air conditioning worked nice and reliable.

Cons: Not all rooms wheelchair accessible i.e. partially reachable via stairs. Internet WiFi did not work for the first couple of days due to a fault, but after complaining several times it was repaired and then later worked reliably with good connectivity. Room/toilet doors need repairs as they are not lockable. Surprisingly the toilet seats don't have inbuilt bidet, very disappointing.

We often stay here .The crew are fantastic .So helpful .The Riad is in the best location and has had wonderful renovations but has retained all of the original coloured glass, amazing doors and original tiles .We left at 6.00 AM , all of the power was off and we couldn’t get out of the hotel but we were thrilled to meet our friend who was always at reception for years .He appeared from no where out of the darkness and helped us with all of our luggage through to a side door and took us down to a taxi for the airport Without his help we would have missed our flight .This is the kindness that brings us back to Mabrouk .Thank you and Kind regards

Riad Mabrouk is not to everyone’s taste but it is a traditional riad with extremely friendly and helpful staff, hot showers, a clean bed all at a good price - what more could a weary traveler need. I was very happy here - less so some of my party. My room was spotlessly clean and the towels and bath mat were changed daily but there are lots of unexpected steps and dark places so you need to be careful walking around the riad. Also the spiral staircase around the lift shaft needs younger feet than mine. I did venture up and down there a couple of times but wouldn’t want to repeat the experience. The Riad is well placed to walk everywhere in Marrakesh but anyone with walking difficulties might find its location a problem because transport doesn’t pass the door. There are lots of porters at the end of the road to bring your luggage should you need help. Overall I’d happily stay here again and look forward to returning to Marrakech

Whilst walking down the square we found a sign for massage. We decided to come on our last day before getting our flight and what an amazing idea it was. We had the couples hammam & massage for 550 MAD which we thought was great value compared to some of the other prices elsewhere. Afterwards, we think it was amazing value. We were in the hammam having a full body scrub for around 30 mins before having a full body massage for around 45 mins. The ladies were excellent. We feel completely relaxed and it’s ended our time in Marrakech perfectly. Would recommend to anyone.

We booked this Riad as a package holiday. On entrance we had a warm welcome by two men at reception and morrocon tea. Our room was so dark, curtains hung from the wall with non existing window. It felt like a jail. You could be in the room all day and it would feel like midnight in there. I had to use my phone torch to get ready. Our room could not be changed as rest of the rooms were more expensive and at a different price said the man at reception. The breakfast was basic, nothing special cold coffee, creps and tastless omelet. On the positive side, the deco of rooms were nice..Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and complimentary shampoo and shower gel. The hotel leads to a busy market place and the main madina which we really enjoyed. Lots if places to eat outside the hotel. If you want a quiet holiday this is not for you. Wahab at reception was very friendly Most staff were kind and helpful.

Nice location

Cons: On our arrival, we were told that our originally booked room wasn’t available because of the rain. So far no problem, if the room we got for the other 2 nights wouldn’t have been worse than the first one. There was no window, no seating area, mold in the shower. When we had to change rooms, it was inconvenient because they made us change rooms during the day without prior notice. We got no compensation for the inconvenience and the lady at the reception showed no empathy whatsoever. Breakfast was really bad for the price: old and dry bread, no variety, no fruits, Nothing fresh. Also the tables didn’t get cleaned when people left. So we had to eat at a table with dirty dishes from the groups before. All in all the place didn’t meet our expectations and looked way more promising. If you’re looking for a authentic riad with a friendly service, this is not the place. It feels more like a Tourist Factory.

Perfect situation for the main square, jemaa el fnaa. Also minutes walk away from the main bus terminals and taxis. The Medina is very close and the riad is situated on a busy street full of shops and cafe/restaurants.

Cons: The noise continued until the early hours, accepted this is a main shopping area but the revving of motorbikes and loud shouting is a bit much. Ask for a room away from the main street if you have trouble sleeping

This Riad is situated close to Jemaa-el-fnaa market square in the old town of Marrakech. It is very busy with cafes and people and restaurants and life! So close to the Souks too, so it’s easy to go shopping !! The entrance into the Riad is cool and opens out into a large marble reception area. Very welcoming staff greet you and take you to your room. The rooms are located in the older part of the building which is gorgeous Moroccan design, beautifully tiled, with little seating areas and gorgeous big arch windows that let the light shine through to the central part of the Riad. Our room was en suite, only down point here was the shower head needs to be replaced and a few tiles in the shower floor. Otherwise again, lovely room with western toilets. Bedroom had a wonderful king size bed with ornate framed bed frame. Large coloured A frame glass windows which looked out to the centre of the Riad and a lovely little juliette balcony. Breakfast is served upstairs via a lift into the restaurant and the sun greets you warmly as you choose your breakfast and then they bring it to your table when ready. A lovely place to sit in the sun and very lovely staff as well. Our stay was made the best by the staff that work there. They made us extremely welcome and helped us whenever we asked. I will definitely book again. They didn’t want us to leave and I felt a little tearful leaving them. I felt like I had a second home!

The room was very clean and cleaners came in every day. Bottle water was provided. No coffee or tea facilities. Would of been nice to sit on the balcony and have coffee in a morning. The breakfast always started late. There was not much on offer for breakfast. The coffee dispenser was broke and had tissue holding it in place. The kitchen staff could not communicate in English. There was no safe in the room, we asked several times but we’re not provided with one. When the cleaners came in the day, they would leave our balcony door wide open so anyone could enter our room. So we had to carry our passports and money everywhere we went, which is not ideal. The staff in the restaurant were slow and not very attentive. Given the higher prices compared to other places I would of expected better service. The waiters struggled to light the heat lamps and it was very cold. The food it’s self was good though. We used the hammam in the hotel. This was not a good experience at all, again lack of communication made it every difficult. The staff talked amongst their selves and seemed very unhappy to be doing their job. We felt so uncomfortable because they were arguing amongst them selves as to who would do the massage during the hammam. This has never been my experience previously at other hammams. Our room was at the front of the hotel with a balcony facing the main tourist area, the noise was unbelievable and went on til early hours of the morning. It felt like an authentic experience of Marrakesh though so we didn’t mind after a couple of nights and were so tired we would of slept stood up. If you don’t want to be pestered from stepping out of your hotel, do not stay here. I wouldn’t stay in this hotel again. I have nothing to compare it too though. So this may be harsh. It did feel like a truly authentic stay in Marrakesh. Right in the hustle and bustle.

Cons: I regret to say that our stay at Riad Mabrouk was a far cry from the Moroccan hospitality we were looking forward to. Many of the photos in the listing are misleading. An unfortunate confluence of neglect and poor service made it one of the most uncomfortable nights of our travels. From the outset, the room was swelteringly hot, turning what should've been a serene haven into a furnace. With outside temperatures soaring above 90 degrees Fahrenheit, the air conditioning, instead of providing relief, seemed hell-bent on replicating the Moroccan heatwave inside. We found ourselves opting to leave the windows open, as the outdoor heat was oddly less punishing. However, this decision invited other unpleasantries - a rogue honeybee which stung our daughter being the most distressing of them. Adding to the discomfort, the room refrigerator stood as a non-functional showpiece. Despite several complaints, our pleas for repair or replacement went unanswered, leaving us without any means of cooling our beverages. Our distress continued with a dysfunctional hairdryer and a claustrophobically tight bathroom space. The door was so stiff that our children needed assistance to open or close it, often resulting in loud, disruptive slams in the middle of the night. Despite multiple complaints and discussions with different front desk personnel across various shifts named Hassan and then Nabil, no solution was ever provided. The promises made to call a technician for the AC or provide us with a cooler were blatantly disregarded, reflecting an alarming lack of care for guest comfort. Finally, after a restless and uncomfortable night, we decided to leave, despite having paid for six nights. The fact that the management refused to issue a refund was the cherry on top of this unpleasant experience. We even visited the Riad again after a day to meet the manager named Shaikh Ahmed who promised to have someone reach back out to us the next morning, which never happened.

Very nice building and decor in a great location near Djemaa El Fna however we were misled about the swimming pool. It is clearly marketed as a useable pool but turned out to be decorative only. It is a proper pool with working showers etc so is a policy decision not to allow use. The staff were unhelpful offering contradicting reasons for the change in policy. Eventually a water park trip was offered as an alternative but this wasn't convenient or necessary with a perfectly good pool in the hotel.

The location is excellent very close to the main square. But the suite I booked is basically in the restaurant and you is very noisy during breakfast and dinne, apart from having to walk past diners whenever you leave or enter. The room itself is spacious and clean. I checked in with my fiance who is Moroccan. And although she was not staying with me, obviously as per our belief, she came to the room the first 2 days. But on the last day we were told she is not allowed in the room, not even for a few minutes. Although I respect local rules, this should have been said when we checked in as we were clearly a couple, she also was very upset by a personal comment made in earshot of her by a female manager. This was very unprofessional and almost ruined our last day. I personally can only praise the other staff members as they were friendly and helpful. Shame it was spoilt by one individual. I would still recommend the hotel, just not the suite.

It was small and the door was close to the bed it almost hit it. I complained and was moved to a suite which was much nicer. The service was excellent and the spa treatment was amazing. The riad is very close to the Square so was very busy and noisy until all hours of the morning. The size of the riad made it feel more like a hotel than the intimate feel of a small riad - Just depends on what you want!

They planned to have us switch back to their hotel - but since my family would be on a tour the next day with an early start - we chose to move to an alternate hotel with rooms available for our entire 4 day stay. We were a family of 4 and were given a large two king bed room on the ground floor. The room is very nicely decorated with beautiful stained glass windows and super high ceilings. Unfortunately, that room is also right next to the hotel restaurant, which meant that as staff setup in the morning and cleaned up at night, one needs to endure the noise that comes along with those activities, not to mention the chatter and noise of guests that decide to eat late. So avoid that ground floor room if you can. The shower also drains excruciatingly slow. Having said that, the location of the riad is perfect. So close to Jamaa el Fna, but not so close that you can hear noise. There's a bakery a few steps away and a corner store nearby for water and munchies. All in all, a four star out of five stay.

The hotel was pleasent and the staff was very mindful of its customers. Checked in smoothly and swiftly. There was an issue with the room we had but they send the maintenance man pain mentioning it. The problem didn't remedy so the next day we was moved into another room. Used the hammam and massage service in the hotel spa. It was reasonably priced as per the local average prices. I have visited Hammams previously and I have found different countries and spas tend to do the hamman differently, yet all with the same final result. Came out nice and clean and went into the massage. First visit to the massage wasn't as hard or deep as I would have liked it so I dare say I didn't feel much, but for the average person it would have been a pleasent relaxing massage. When I went back the next day for my second session, I mentioned this before the hamman and massage and I have to say, she gave it her all and it was amazing. I felt like a tenderised piece of steak. Overall a very nice place with very nice staff. Also very helpful with anything I asked , And a good guide to how much I should expect to pay for what. Thanks to my hotel reception guy, the one with the glasses, forgot his name, I saved a lot of money on taxis and even the horse and cart. Everyone charges extortionate rates but if you know how much you should pay, you know not to accept ridiculous price offer. Horse and cart was charging people 150-300 in front of us and we only paid 50 dirhams

I was disappointed with the room the walls were wet under the air con which made us both sick. we were sick for the second week since the stay in the hotel. Due to the wet wall we had throat irritation and now on antibiotics. I didn't like the entire smell of the hotel it smelled just like an old hospital. The noise in the hotel were too loud which didn't allow us to sleep even properly. The restaurant floors were always cleaned while people were eating during the breakfast time which made us sick and the smell of the cleaning solutions made us loose appetite. This Hotel shouldn't have any stars given. I don't know How it got 4 star. Very Disappointing!!!

But hey, after a hard day's bartering and sightseeing, sleep won't be a problem. Staff helpful and friendly especially Hannah on reception.

Overall not bad little Riad for the money. Bed was very hard and room was a little stuffy due to small outside window. Safe would not work even after exchanging it. Staff were non-exsistant most of the time. Big issue, they demanded a 3euro per night/per person at the end of our stay for "taxes". Outright rip off. We strongly said no money. This lost them our normal room tip because they were rude. There is no such tax, a scam from desk staff early in the morning. Be sure to get price up front for everything.

The road was beautiful with its Moroccan decor and elegant touches. staff where friendly and helpful Location second to none.. Everything was a very short stroll away. Breakfast was good. Continental and basic, but keep in mind pork is never on the menu really here so if you don't expect a fry you will be happy with what they serve... Fresh orange juice, homemade yogurt, pastries, omelette tea coffee.... All with a smile. I couldn't stop taking photos of the place I just thought it as beautiful... Felt like a special little oasis....

The room was very small and crammed and had a damp, dirty smell to it. When I first walked into the bathroom, I noticed a bundled up (presumably dirty) towel on the floor, so I assume they did not fully clean the room, or made a mess after it was already cleaned. Then, I saw a gigantic cockroach on the bathroom counter. It was disgusting. Not what you would expect for this price and for the rating it got. As for customer service, there was no one at the reception desk for a while, leaving several guests waiting to check in. Then, when he arrived, he seemed very aloof and was not very friendly.

Lovely hotel however the room was very dusty. Couldn't stop sneezing everytime we were in our room. Air conditioning was good. Room was cleaned every day. Shower was very nice. Not very sound proof. Great location being right next to jamaa el fanaa. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The ryad itself was stunning, morrocan theme throughout. Beautiful resturant with natural sun light coming through. Amazing terrace perfect for relaxing, catching the sun with mint tea. Very close to jema al fna however downside was it was very noisy outside til 2am most nights from the souks and resturants. The bed was not the most comfortable, quite hard and with the noise didnt get much sleep most nights but still an amazing ryad. You could hear the doors banging early morning and late night from other rooms and if anyone was outside your room you could hear them very clearly, kinda lacked privacy esp been away on a couple holiday. You could hear the staff moving chairs downstairs at 7am onwards, all noises would echo throughout. All the staff were very helpful. It was a shame that there was a lack of irons but wasn't too bad despite this.

My train got delayed so I got there after midnight but I called ahead and they waited until I arrived. The hotel staff were friendly. As soon as I went into my room, I found that the room was facing a market street which was too noisy and they moved my room to quieter one immediately upon my request. It was quieter but this hotel's location can't avoid loud noise from vendors in the street. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. As you know Riads don't have elevators and it's quite hard to move your luggage. The hotel is only 2mins from Jemma El Fna square so if you like to explore the area, it's in the perfect location.

I am giving this hotel a 2* because we were put in the wrong room! we booked a SUPERIOR SUITE which on the description says 2 bedrooms. We checked-in and was given a triple bedroom. We asked the receptionist and she insisted that we booked a regular suite and not a 2 bedroom suite! We showed our booking and the description but she didn't move us to the right room. Was very disappointed. We were very excited to have a big room and hang out in there as we were a party of 7 people with 3 different room bookings. I don't understand how that was misunderstood. The booking clearly stated that we had a superior suite 2 bedroom. I really wanted to give this hotel a 1* because of this. But on the bright side, the riad was beautiful overall and the waiter was very nice and friendly. The receptionist was alright, but didn't know how to handle the situation.

Everything about this hotel was good, from room to breakfast. All facilities in the room were as described and I should have rated it 5 for everything. The location was perfect for the square with restaurants nearby However for me there was one letdown which was the young blond hotel receptionist and her rude manner. ( the older receptionist and the male rec were very nice) She was unhelpful when we needed a WORKING iron and when my husband left some items in the room, she was not co operative. He therefore lost some expensive items. When the electric faulted, she was rude again. If this receptionist was removed, it's a wonderful riad.

Very well situated in the middle of the walking street of Medina, easy to find, close to all attractions, with nice inside and outside restaurant with good food. The disappointment was the room, it has a windows to hallway, and even when it close you can here everybody passing and talking there, but this is apply I think to all riads, the walls and windows has no isolation...

Riad Mabrouk was average- while it was a beautiful building in an excellent location, it is not for those who like an early night as constant noise from the street continues until 2am. Breakfast was ok- lots of breads, a yogurt and an omelette. Rooms were satisfactory, though the shower wasn't attached to the wall so you had to hold it yourself whilst washing. There was no gym, contrary to what is advertised on the site.

This Riad was quite beautiful! The service was kind, they even kept my bags overnight while I went on a Mount Toubkal excursion, the location is great, right next to the main square but with that there is a slight noise issue but that did not bother me. The only noise that did bother me was the sounds of cats fighting early in the morning and it happened a couple of times while I was there, there are a couple of cats that linger in the restaurant area and I woke up to these terrible noises of cats fighting in the courtyard which was worse than the street noise from the crowds outside. Also, when I first arrived there was a dead cockroach on the floor and towels were sprawled messily all over the bathroom as if they had rushed to get the room ready for me. Nonetheless, the breakfast was wonderful and I would recommend this riad to anyone staying in Marrakech.

Overall great experience and great value for a family of 4. The ONLY downside was the local noise which kept us from getting a good night sleep. Once we brought this to their attention, they were nice enough to change our room to quitter side and offered complimentary Hamam (bath middle eastern style).

The Hotel was great. It's a beautiful hotel and it was super clean. Moona and the rest of the staff were fantastic. They helped us book trips to Essaouira and a camel trek to Zagora. They even held our luggage while we were doing an over night camel trek. The rooms were great, the location is amazing with quick and easy access to Djemaa el-Fna. What's really crazy is that you are right on the main square and you it wasn't loud or noisy at all. You go from chaos outside to complete peace inside. It was a great place to stay, the staff was fantastic. They gave us suggestions for places to eat that were all great. They even gave us a run down of what to do and how to get around the town. All in all, should we return to Marrakech, we will stay at Mabrouk again. It's beautiful and clean and everyone was super helpful.

The raids main central court is a real showpiece. You are wowed as soon as you see it and wowed again everytime you step into it throughout your stay. With the skylight open, the whole place is bathed in fabulous sunlight. The ground floor has the main restaurant which leads to a bar area (alcohol is served at this Riad). Through the lobby area is the reception and the admin offices. The rooms are then accessed via a staircase from the Rue Bani Marine entrance. Our room 20 was on the top floor near the terrace. The room was just fabulous. Large, spacious with a marvellous double bed, dressing table, side tables and a wardrobe. A safe is provided free of charge. The large bathroom had a large wetroom shower, toilet and sink with hairdryer. Fresh clean towels are provided daily. There is a TV with multitude of channels but sadly not many English speaking. There is also air-conditioning again, free of charge. The rooms are cleaned meretriciously by the cleaning staff who seem to work from early morning to evening. As a matter of fact the whole raid is kept very clean by these army of ladies. As mentioned, fresh towels are provided daily and the bed is made up everyday. The Riad offers a fabulous set breakfast of fresh orange juice, tea/coffee, croissants, cakes, pancakes and what I can only describe as an Indian paratha. There is also an option to have eggs if required. We loved it, so much so, we are returning back in September.

The hotel is in Excellent Condition provided you are not too sensitive to noise. I really enjoyed the fact that I walk out of my room and I was in the centre of Medina. The rooms are extremely small and the equipment is basic. For example there was nothing to hang my towels on in the bath room. The service was great. We were greeted well and the receptionist gave us useful tips and advice about do's and don'ts

Nice Morrocan-ethnic décor, clean and comfy. A lot of good food around, 3 minutes walk from Jemaa Al Fna so can be a bit noisy from people walking by at night. Nice view from the rooftop. A few small issues though - the sink and shower drainage of my unit were half clogged & I can't really work out the 2 remote controls for the tv/decoder - so I can't watch the tv (Funny I never have problem with remote controls in previous hundred hotels)

The riad and stay were great, but when I tried to check out, the combination for the safe no longer worked so someone from the front desk had to help me. Unfortunately, I was then overcharged by about 35% for the stay. When I pointed out the incorrect charge with a printout of the Expedia reservation confirmation, the person at the front desk said that they will credit me for the difference. The original overcharged amount, which I never signed for, has shown up on my credit card but the credit has not so I had to file a dispute with my credit card. Again, the riad is great, and it is also quiet despite being in a central location, but be careful that you don't get overcharged if you stay here.

We had just arrived by a taxi that dropped us off a few blocks away, without luggage (someone took it at airport by accident), and we were feeling stress. We were offered a free upgrade to the nicest suite on arrival. Then our host offered us tea while she walked us through a map of the local area. She recommended an onsite spa special for us, and proceeded to make all arrangements while we had a delicious lunch in the hotel restaurant. She completely turned our day around for us. The riad is very lovely and right at the Djemma El Fna, and central to all sites in the Medina. Great experience & we'd definitely stay there again.

Stayed during mid November. Was a pleasant enough stay and would recommend to others. The breakfast was very nice. You have to be very clear about tea if you want english tea (best to say tea au lait) as they will give you mint tea or english tea without the milk! Hotel was in a fantastic location and you can shop and stay out right till then end when things start to close up as you are so close to your hotel. Feels safe too and the hotel is on one of the cleaner streets with lots of small cheap eateries. We were in room 18. The room is exceptionally noisy (I gave it a 3 because of this)and the double glazing does not reduce the noise levels at all. You can hear people walking, talking and coughing in the street below in the middle of the night. (this did not necessarily put me off on a short trip, but longer stays, I think I would be a bit annoyed) Also, shops don't close until about midnight and its very noisy so if you are happy to sleep after that its fine, But an early night is out of the question. My dad slept in a room in the middle of the hotel and it was totally quiet however. Super King Bed and bedding very cosy and nice. No tea facilities in room. I don't think its the done thing in morocco? Hotel decor is very traditional and nice. There are lots of stairs and nooks and crannies and my parents found it difficult to get around in the hotel. Also has a nice roof terrace. Overall a nice stay and I would recommend to others for a short stay.

The perfect Moroccan riad! This property is located right in the heart of Marrakech, just steps from Jemma Fna square and the souk. The decor is beautifully decorated in traditional style - the sunlight filtering through the stained glass windows reflected on the white walls, creating dazzling eye candy. The woman at reception could not have been more helpful or nice and she spoke great English. We only had one night in Marrakech and this property completely satisfied my itch to stay in an authentic Moroccan riad...my only regret was not having time to utilize the spa. My only complaint would be the noise level...our room overlooked the street, which was great, but loud once we wanted to sleep. I would not hesitate giving this property a 5 star rating.

This was my first experience in a Riad. It was absolutely gorgeous. The young lady that checked us in was beautiful and a joy. The place is overwhelming, I'd stay here again in a minute. One block from the center of EVERYTHING! The main market where cobras are moving to flutes playing, shops, outdoor dining of authentic cuisine (check out table #1). Stay here, you won't regret it. I am a fan of Riads (mansions with an interior courtyard) over Dars (mansions without interior courtyards). No need to spend the money for a hotel.

Great base for a quick stop over- a few easy minutes walk to the main market square and right in the hub. Room was lovely- clean and tidy, with a great shower. Reception was really friendly and helpful, we were told breakfast started at 7am, we had a bus to catch so was great for the early start but when we went to the dining room at 7:30 we found both members of staff asleep and the cleaners still mopping the floors? The waitress was grumpy and the food generic if not a little poor in choice. I stayed here again a few days later but that'll be for the next review!!

The Riad is situated just metres away from the main square where all the action is but once inside you cannot hear any noise. On arrival we were greeted with mint tea and pastries, our luggage was taken up to the room. Clean towels every day and lovely clean rooms. The building is beautiful and staff very welcoming. Whilst breakfast is the same each day it was fine, you can always vary what they offer as you get quite a lot of plates of food.

A nice boutique hotel with a great interior design felt like you were staying somewhere different to the usual generic city hotel. It doesn't have many guest rooms so it seemed quite personal. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. The hotel has a front entrance to a bustling street and also a rear entrance to a quieter street. Literally a one minute walk to the main square so is the ideal location to be close to great sights and sounds that the main square has to offer. Although the hotel is on a busy street, this simply adds to the fun atmosphere and by around midnight the street noise seems to disappear altogether allowing a peaceful sleep. The room was a decent size too. There is a good rooftop terrace from where you can get a great view of the city. The breakfast was really good/big so there wasn't a great need for much lunch. There was a security guard at the rear entrance too (not that it seemed necessary buts still good to have). I recommend this hotel and would choose to stay here again if I ever returned to the city.

Very well situated traditional morrocan riad, only seconds from the square. Breakfasts are superb, rooms are comfortable, staff are attentive and speak English well. Taxi can be sent to the airport by the riad if you call ahead, this costs 200 dh. Security in the hotel is good, and the safe is free of charge. Bill is payable in dh at the hotel, the price quoted by hotels.com includes all taxes and charges so no nasty surprises.

The location of the hotel was fantastic - right inside the walls of old Medina, just walking distance from the Souk and the bustling markets of Marrakech. I do not recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax, obviously, because it is right in the middle of all the action and there is loud noise throughout late hours of the night. The hotel staff spoke minimal English, but enough to assist me throughout my stay and offer guidance on my day trips. They also offer various day trip packages and a spa. The food at the hotel was also of very good quality and the ambiance was traditional Moroccan throughout.

Great location for striding out to square, souls, medina, etc But with location comes a whole lot of noise, take ear plugs.

Nice Riad, Very helpful and great staff. (they even made reservations for us at restaurants). Nice room but I'm more into modern style. Restaurant service and quality of the food is great. Location is great, just too close to Medina so a lot of noise after 10 am and all the way 'till midnight. Walking distance to eveything you need to see in Marrakech (good to avoid taxis). 15-20 minutes to th airport. Will probably come back with my wife for a couple of days.

The hotel was beautiful, but we stayed in room number 20 which faced the main street. This meant that you could hear music blasting until 3AM in the morning. The windows also vibrate because of the wind. It was only a few minutes walk to the souks and the night market. The staff was nice. The airport ride was about 15 minutes in a taxi. If you don't mind music blaring at night then this is your hotel.

I decided to book this hotel despite some negative reviews, my rationale was location, wifi availability in rooms (at no extra charge) and gym (treadmill). We stayed in room 1. (this was a room and not one of the suites). Room was a modest size and next to the panoramic restaurant. so expect music / noise. (thankfully, it was not head banging and did stop before we got back to the room on most nights. Initially there was no safe in the room which got me concerned. I raised this at the reception and by the time i walked the two flights of stairs there was an employee carrying a safe into the room. I thought this was something from "faulty towers". However,I felt assured that my concern was dealt with. The safe was large enough to fit all the " I " products. Absolutely brilliant location, the block which is owned by the same company consists of a cafe, cinema, hotel, spa, restaurant and bureau du change is very easy to find, and more importantly everyone knows which will help you find your way back from the mirad of souks when YOU WILL get lost. The hospitality of the receptionists and general staff was over and above the "call of duty". The hotel has two entrances which is brilliant as one will put you in the "strip" to Djemaa el fnaa and the other is a quick "rat run" to the same place. I guess the ultimate question is; Would I go back there? Would I recommend it to my mates. Yes, I would go back. Yes, I have already recommended it to my mates.

This riad is close to the main square but far enough away that the cacophony is muted. Its easy to find (unlike others) on a pedestrian street. Its when you go inside that it really impresses you, richly decorated and welcoming. Set over several rambling floors with lots of unusual spaces just wandering the hotel was an adventure. There is no lift if mobility is a problem. Room was large and again superbly decorated, bathroom was large with an all-over body shower, more like a car wash with nozzles everywhere! The bathroom did smell a little musty that's why I reduced a point for cleanliness. Most of the rooms face the inner courtyard with the ground floor being a restaurant so there can be some noise late at night. The food there is excellent. The staff are really friendly . The Wi-Fi is free fast and reliable. I would be happy to stay here again.

We liked this riad. You were literally a minute's walk or less from Jemaa el Fna, the main square, so if you want to be right in the eye of the Marrakech storm this is a good bet. Spotlessly clean also! Downsides were that the double bed was two singles joined and if I visited Marrakech again I would love somewhere with a sun terrace to lie out like many other riads have. Staff were OK, not overly helpful or attentive and food and drink were a little overpriced. Overall a great pick for location and we felt very comfortable there.
