Quaint Riad in the heart of the Medina. Paul and Staff were fantastic. Peaceful and relaxing from our balcony overlooking the lush gardens in the center of the property. Pool is small but great for cooling off. Onsite restaurant is 5 out of 5 for food and wait staff. Really cant go wrong with this place.

Staff was extremely helpful navigating the location which can be overwhelming. Assisted in hiring a tour guide for our stay who was very knowledgeable. Make sure you do the scrub & massage. It was one of the best I have had.

Our family of five had an exceptional stay at Riad Jardin Des Biehn over the holidays. It is so centrally located, yet so quiet in the busyness of the Medina. Our breakfasts were delicious, the staff was so friendly and accommodating and the property is a welcomed oasis and respite in the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed dinner and live music at the Riad (Fes Cafe) one evening which we highly recommend!
Cons: We loved everything!

THE PLACE IS SUBLIMELY BEAUTIFUL AND THE PEOPLE WERE UNBELIEVABLY KIND. Also though Fez is amazing, it is also a little overwhelming, so to come “home,” and relax in the garden or have a massage was perfect. Really great too was to just stay there after a big day and eat at the delicious restaurant

The garden was amazing, it was truely an oasis in the desert. We particularly liked the turtles. Our room was beautifully crafted with lovely individual touches which made it feel like a home rather than a hotel room. The staff were very friendly. We looked forward to our breakfast each morning as our host would teach us a new Arabic word. The breakfast was delicious.
Cons: There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

The grounds are amazing. The garden is a gorgeous focal point but everywhere you turn there is something gorgeous to take in. Breakfast was good when we ate in person. We had dinner one night at the restaurant as well since there was live music and that meal was quite good as well.
Cons: The cleaning staff took away our heavier blankets after one night and did not replace them with any more blankets - not entirely sure why this was done. We had to leave early and had a breakfast packed for us on our last morning and the packed breakfast was very underwhelming, just a few fruits. Personally did not like the decor of our room Le fils du Cheikh compared to other rooms and this room is overlooking the street so can get noisy at night. Quite pricey compared to other options in the area.

Clean, bright room. Good location within the Fez Medina, lovely garden. Very average breakfast which must be superior for the hotel charge. This was most expensive Riad on our trip for two weeks.
Cons: Far too expensive room rate per night. Very marginal breakfast and coffee. Need more food choices and fruit at breakfast for Americans.

The whole facility is a beautiful place. The rooms and the garden are created with incredible taste and love. The stuff is unbelievable friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fine with everything someone can expect. The restaurant is also good. Most of all I liked the tasteful decoration of the rooms.
Cons: The access to the hotel is not optimal as you have to walk about 8 minutes from the place the car leaves you (nevertheless the hotel takes care of your luggage!). Also all the rooms have a lot of (sometimes) difficult steps. This hotel is definitely not ideal for elder people and in winter. Overall too expensive.

This is an exceptional property. I would highly recommend staying here - it felt like a personal paradise - the gardens are beautiful and the rooms very comfortable and beautiful decorated and taken care of.
Cons: Breakfast was exceptional - but I had lunch at the restaurant and was not particularly impressed with my meal - it was a bit salty and the chicken a bit bland.

The hotel is set in a large garden, which is beautiful and relaxing amidst the bustling backdrop of the Fes Medina. The rooms are traditional and a little funky — ours was large, but it’s more like staying in a bed and breakfast than an upscale hotel. Our room smelled of smoke from the fireplace and could have been a little cleaner. That’s not necessarily a critique, but if you want an upscale hotel experience this is probably not it. All in all, a positive experience.

Stunning hotel in the heart of the medina, just one thing that’s not clear is that you cannot drive to the hotel you have to walk the last bit. The staff are great, happy to sort or arrange anything. There are lots of noks and crannies to discover. The restaurant is very good as well.

Jardin des Biehn is so guest-friendly and accommodating. My favorite place in Fes having stayed there two times in one year. Amazing staff, caring and polite. Good food at café, wonderful garden, beautiful rooms with first class amenities. The owner and his family are gracious and inclusive of their guests. My go-to place each time I will be in Morocco. A truly beautiful hotel, with charming rooms, each unique in design and furnishing, and a radiant garden, filled with birds. There are Greek tortoises and a long koi pool. A rooftop patio and another roof view overlooking the city. The cafe is superb, and the staff even better---sensitive, good natured, generous, entirely competent, ready to help or give you space. The primary languages are Arabic, French, and English. We stayed a week in a suite of rooms with a patio in the treetops and we wish we could go right back.

Individuell eingerichtete Zimmer in gediegenem traditionellem Stil. Sehr gutes Bett, sehr sauber.

In Fes for business, I found in the Jardins des Biehn both an ideal location, garden and restaurant for informal business meetings and meals (great by the way), and a professional, knowledgeable and welcoming staff. Five stars all around. And of course, the gardens are sublime

Arriving at Jardin des Biehn is like waking up and finding yourself in a garden of delights. Out of the concrete and walled Medina, one walks into a peaceful green scenery and a rambling riad, with a room here and there, each one totally private. Our room, with a large second floor balcony overlooking the garden, was filled with gorgeous design details right out of the Moroccan bible of interior design. Their funky and colourful Fes Cafe, spilling out into the garden, offered us one of the best meals we had on our trip. The breakfasts were wonderful - fresh breads, wonderful coffee, all presented in charming chinaware setting by a lovely quiet Moroccan lady. Frankly, I could have sat all day enjoying the view from the rocking chair on that second hand balcony... And did I mention the early morning yoga class for friends that the owner Catherine invited me to? For this riad, a 5 star rating is just not high enough.
