Everything was very good, staff, food, location.
Cons: Riad listed a jacuzzi that we were unable to use solely due to lack of communication on the riad side. Basically we got three evenings ruined because we couldn't use the jacuzzi. Wish we could've used that time to schedule something else instead of hoping the jacuzzi water will warm up. To summarize it, that was quite a bitter experience.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans votre riad et tout le monde était content. Notre riad Émeraude était parfait, le service de Fatima était au top et sa cuisine était divine. C'était un peu difficile de trouver le riad, mais après plusieurs allers-retours, nous avons fini par le retrouver. Cependant, aucun taxi ne peut accéder près de l'hôtel, nous devions à chaque fois sortir de la grande place Jemaa el-Fna (environ 10-12 minutes à pied)
Cons: Rien, tout était parfait au riad Émeraude. Par contre, mes amies qui logeaient au riad Dar Bleu ont trouvé que le service et le petit-déjeuner n'étaient pas pareils. C'était un peu moins qualitatif d'après le groupe. Sinon, tout va bien, mais nous nous attendions à quelque chose de plus grand au riad Dar Bleu.

Das Taxi vom Flughafen fährt nur bis zum Platz Jemaa el-Fnaa, restliche Strecke mit Gepäckträger bis zum Hotel, das ist in Marrakesch üblich, da die Gassen zu eng sind für Autos. Frühstück: war gut, Kaffee, Eier Omelette, Streichkäse, Marmelade, Honig, Schoko Croissant und Pfannkuchen. Abendessen: sehr gut, Menü, Suppe, Hauptgericht mit Hähnchen, Rind, oder Lamm und Nachtisch. Alle Gerichte marokkanische Art, besser als in den umliegenden Restaurants. Das Hotelpersonal total nett und hilfsbereit und alles sehr sauber.

This is an exceptional Riad with every possible attention to detail. Our welcome was just wonderful . Our room couldn’t have been more romantic or comfy , bedecked with rose petals and even a pretty boxed sweet treat. We were so impressed with the kindness of the staff rising really early to ensure that we had breakfast before we left. It is also so close to Jemma.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!!! Our huge disappointment was that as we were moving on we didn’t get to stay longer.

The property was nice, clean, and the staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good. No issues with the property itself but concerning issue with the location and the experience in the evening.
Cons: The location was a walk through the dark alley on the side of the Medina, where some local lads were constantly heckling and asking for money to take you to the Riad. Even with our Google/Apple maps, we struggled to find it. There is no clear signage visible at night to locate this hotel, which the locals take advantage of, especially at night. Although we are well-travelled, my wife and daughter did not feel safe walking to this place in the evening or when it was dark. This Riad is overpriced, and taxis do not enter the Medina, so you have to walk quite a distance with your luggage to even come close to this Riad. I would recommend booking a Riad just outside the Medina, which is cheaper, has good access to taxis, is well-marked, and overall safer if you are traveling with females. Our entire Morocco tour was great with all the other places we stayed but this one spoiled it. It was just because of the location and lack of proper signage at night.

We had staff in our Riads. We stayed in two Riads, the Blue and the Green Diamond. They cooked what we wanted for breakfast. They also cooked for one night when we had dinner in. It was excellent. The Green Diamond was larger and we spent a lot of time there on the terraced roof top. It was beautifully decorated.

We stayed here for one night so that we could explore the Medina. We could have easily stayed longer. The Riad is exactly as shown in pictures. It’s clean, all the staff are very friendly and is in a great location for seeing all the main attractions and getting to good restaurants. Azden from reception gave us a great welcome and lots of advice about getting around. They serve a lovely breakfast on the roof terrace. We also did a hamman package and the 2 ladies were amazing. We felt so relaxed the whole day after it. I would highly recommend using their transport service as it made getting to the riad a lot easier. Rating should be 10.
Cons: Nothing. It was our first time staying in a Riad and so glad we chose this one.

A calm, relaxed retreat from the busy Medina. Our room was welcoming with roses, sweet treats, water and soft drinks in the fridge on arrival. The staff were very caring and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, you could also pre order dinner to have at the Riad. The food was delicious.
Cons: Please note that this Riad is in the Medina, and you do have to walk from the main road, if arriving in the afternoon as cars are not allowed to enter the square after 12 midday. They will send a man to meet you, collect your bags and you can follow him to your accommodation which is a big help. (It is worth it when you arrive there)

O Riad está dentro da cidade velha, portanto uma localização muito central, Dar Green Diamond é uma pérola. Espaço lindo, bem decorado, bem distribuído, a estrear, os funcionários Nadira e Ismael muito simpáticos, profissionais, sempre disponíveis, arquitetura típica marroquina, jacuzzi fantástico, tem tudo próximo, lojas, restaurantes e supermercado. Não precisamos de nos deslocar ao Riad principal, fazemos tudo ali, incluindo o pequeno-almoço e pagamento de serviços. É uma zona muito autêntica.

We had such a lovely stay at this Riad! The staff were super friendly and always made an effort to ask how our day was going and share little tips and recommendations. It was my partner’s birthday, and they surprised us by decorating the room with balloons, candles, and even a small cake waiting for us when we arrived, it was such a sweet and thoughtful touch! There was also a really friendly cat that hung around the patio, which we loved. The room itself was exactly what I expected, comfortable and perfect for our stay. We also booked the Hammam/Spa, and wow, it was amazing. I was so relaxed afterward I actually had to lie down for 20 minutes just to feel normal again! The location is great, just a short walk from Café de France. The street to the Riad is full of sandwich stalls and local shops. It felt a bit overwhelming at night, but honestly, it’s all part of the Marrakech experience. Overall, I’m really happy we chose this place. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff and the cook made us feel so welcome. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. I think the property on Expedia is misleading. It’s not clear when booking that this property is 3 different Riads. I did try to speak to someone on the day we arrived as we were expecting the beautiful jacuzzi, however the jacuzzi we had was old and hidden away on the rooftop. Not happy with it at all so spent money at another hotel for the day. I hope you can appreciate this. Maybe some compensation would be appreciated. I look forward to hearing g from you.

I can’t put it in words how amazing all the staff memebers are, they were always so helpful anytime we needed anything, breakfast was great and we truly liked almost everything. Riads are not hotels but special moroccan housing which i highly recommend for everyone travelong to get the full moroccan experience. Its hard to find at first since the Riads are on tiny little side streets so be prepared with the maps because we totally got lost when we first arrived
Cons: The bed is hard, and i mean like Hard Hard. I had read that in another review but didnt think much of it but for me who has chronic back pain that was kind of annoying, but dont take just my word for it since im really hard to please when it comes to bed. Also the rooms are not well soundproof and you can hear a lot if there is any noice but the riad was a quiet and a cozy place so that dis not bother us. You can also hear the prayers but for me that was an amazing cultural experience.

I loved this place from the moment I booked. I was here for one night only but I managed to do everything available in the Riad and it was so worth the stay. I booked the roof top dinner when I booked and the dinner was so good, some of the best I had while I was out there. The spa was heaven sent. It was a little expensive for the area but the quality of the experience was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and so clean. They decorated them beautifully

Cons: So we had major issues at this location and it started with the booking. We thought we were booking at a larger riad with a private villa type. But once booked we were told it was a 3 min walk to the one we booked. We asked to clarify if we would have an agent or front desk or security at our location since the reviews mentioned people felt safe by the 24 hour attendant (but that was only at the larger riad). Expressed concerns about safety and asked them to send video of walk or outside the riad. They said it was safe but did not send video. When we got there, we had some guy collect our bags and then proceeded on a 15 min walk to RIAD. Have videos and all and it was terrible as far as the area, wife and kids did not feel safe. Since it was late we would try to give it a shot. When we toured our riad, found out one room was outside on its own and not inside the main house but on the patio. Also that room door would not close all the way. Kitchen was stocked with meat and other items and we are vegetarian. We did not feel comfortable using any of it. But the main kicker was none of slept the first night due to crickets inside the RIAD that were loud and wouldn’t stop. We sent them a message in the middle of the night and they said they would try to address the next day. For the amount that we paid we expected so much better. The next morning we booked a hotel (Le meridien) and moved there. This was horrible and false advertising on the booking on where we would be, and i wasn’t going to keep my kids in a place that just didn’t feel safe at all! They attached some random house onto their hotel like riad but don’t tell you that till you pay the non refundable amount. This place ruined our visit to Marrakech. We have videos and pictures of everything and we can send them all if you like, also can provide the reservation of the hotel we moved to which was actually amazing to stay at.

Pretty much everything. Prompt follow up on any questions we had. The riad management clearly loves the work they do and are fully motivated to give a you a pleasant stay. Nice room, good breakfast.
Cons: Nothing really - particularly nothing that riad management could have solved. Given the design of any riad (all rooms facing the inside around a square) there is hardly any noise coming in from the outside. Obviously, if guests don't get the concept of being quiet enough to not disturb others, you are in trouble. That happened one evening, but riad management immediately addressed that.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à l’Étoile d’Orient. Le Riyad est très très propre, décoré avec goût, et l’ambiance y est apaisante. Un grand merci à Yakout qui a été super attentif et disponible tout au long de notre séjour. Toute l’équipe est très sympathique, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus mémorable. This Riad has many special touches. The staff at the Riad are outstanding. The communication before our stay was excellent with details of airport pick up and how to get to the riad from the square. We were guided the whole way. Then we were given details on how to navigate the city and tips of what not to do. The riad is centrally located. The rooms are lovely very private and sound proof. We had our breakfast on the rooftop and a dinner made for us which was excellent. Again the staff at breakfast were amazing. Thank you. (They also did our laundry for a small fee which we were very grateful for) 😊

I had a wonderful stay at this charming riad. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the medina but tucked away just enough to offer peace after a day exploring. The rooms are beautifully decorated, blending traditional design with modern comfort, and always spotlessly clean. The experience was exceptional; the staff was genuinely warm, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, welcoming stay in the city.

Emplacement parfait, juste à côté du souk ! Dès qu’on entre dans le riad, c’est un contraste total : on passe de l’agitation des ruelles animées à un havre de paix. Le calme est vraiment appréciable. Le personnel est adorable, toujours souriant et aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, varié et très soigné. Une très belle expérience.

Nice setup. Clean and nicely decorated hotel. The location is great. In the heart of the souk, but still so quiet. Very good breakfast served at the rooftop.
Cons: Our room was on the ground floor, and its only window faced the lobby, which meant there was no privacy at all. As we stayed only one night, that was not very annoying. But for a longer stay it would be a problem. Also, the door to the room had two panels. One of them was fixed to the top of the doorway, but for someone to pass through comfortably, both panels had to be opened – something quite inconvenient. The price was a bit high.

Estuvimos en la Casa Diamond Privatizada. Una casa increíble, tiene tres plantas de uso privado. En la planta de abajo el comedor, la cocina y una sala de estar preciosa. En la primera planta dos habitaciones dobles con dos baños y en la última planta una terraza con Jacuzzi y una tercera habitación con su baño. La decoración preciosa, las camas muy cómodas con colchones y almohadas de calidad. En general muy cuidado, recién pintado y con todo tipo de detalles. El desayuno nos lo hacía una mujer muy agradable a la hora convenida y nos lo servía en la mesa con mucho gusto. Mención especial a las mermeladas buenísimas y a las tartas caseras preparadas por ella misma. La calle donde está el Ríad es segura totalmente, nunca tuvimos sensación de inseguridad a pesar de estar entre esas calles laberínticas típicas de Marrakesh. Para llegar el primer día vinieron a recogernos a la plaza principal y nos enseñaron el camino que no son más de 5 minutos andando, así que luego no tuvimos problema en orientarnos para volver. Nos recibió el anfitrión que nos invitó a un té mientras nos daba la bienvenida y nos comentaba cosas del Riad. Por último decir que el zoco está a 3 minutos andando, la plaza más emblemática a 5 y el resto de los atractivos turísticos de Marrakesh están todos a menos de 15 minutos.
Cons: Nos gustó todo. No podría decir nada malo del alojamiento.

Cons: La camera è piccola per chi come me ama stanze molto grandi, ma è una mia fissazione. Per il Riad è più che adeguata. Inoltre grazie al personale ho scoperto che la struttura gestisce anche altri Riad, uno dei quali è riservabile interamente. La prossima volta opto per questa opzione.

Nous étions un groupe de 6 dans le Riad privé “Green Diamond” , nous avions 3 chambres avec lit double et chacun sa salle de bains privée magnifique, un salon une cuisine, une table à manger et une terrasse avec Jacuzzi sur le toit, l’emplacement est à 5-10 min à pied de la place Jamaa El Fna et du souk, et aussi à 5 min à pied du Riad principal, mais on reste totalement indépendant du Riad principal, tous les échanges avec le Riad se font via whatsapp ils sont très réactifs et le petit déjeuner et le ménage est fait par Nadira qui vient dans notre Riad le matin pour tout préparer C’était super, bien placé, et très propre !!

The staff were great and very responsive. Every single staff member was extraordinarily kind. The rooms are very nice and quiet. You can see a great sunset and the Atlas Mountains from the roof, too. The breakfast was very good. Fresh pastries, I let tea, and coffee every morning made us very spoiled. The location is very central. While it’s really in the thick of the main pedestrian thoroughfare, once you arrive it’s like an oasis.
Cons: There’s a cat (not Mimi, the hotel’s cat) that bothered us at breakfast every morning. It has a huge gash on its face that made breakfast kind of unpleasant on the roof where breakfast is served. This cat also went to the toilet on the rooftop couches. When we complained about this, the staff were very apologetic and promised that the cat would be gone in a week. This cat has apparently been notorious for being disruptive. We also selected the hotel for the jacuzzi but it was kept at a temperature that made it like going into a lukewarm pool. We asked for the temperature to be increased but this was met with hesitation as apparently there are customers who want the jacuzzi at a cool temperature. This seems to go against the point of having a jacuzzi.

Hamou was exceptional. He spent 20 minutes going through our location along with things to do, he couldn't not have been more helpful. Breakfast was large and delicious. Our room was clean and spacious. Would recommend booking someone to guide you to the Riad or an esim for Google maps as taxis cannot reach the Riad. The roof terrace is surprisingly peaceful given it's location in the centre of the medina. The ladies in the spa are very friendly. Would absolutely stay here again.

Le personnel est toujours présent et disponible 24 heures par jour. Hamou et Taha sont excellent et offre un service de très haute qualité et personnalisé. Déjeuner très copieux et varié. Je recommande le repas du soir à 20 euros seulement servi parfaitement et excellent. Bravo à toute l équipe. Les chambres sont très belles et très spacieuses merci.

El hotel está ubicado perfectamente, y parece un oasis en medio de la Medina. Las habitaciones son amplias y están muy lindas decoradas, al igual que los espacios generales. Los desayunos fueron muy ricos y abundantes. Recomiendo 100% este hotel si desean alojarse en la Medina.

The accommodation is lovely. Fresh with a modern/contemporary feel. The room we stayed in was clean and well equipped with soaps, fresh towels, slippers, safe, bath robes, hair dryer, shampoos etc and enough plugs for your charge cables (converter required) no direct USB sockets. You get a key to your room and a key to the front door to let yourself in. Plenty of hot water in the shower room. Beds are firm (if you've been to Turkey or Italy you know what i mean) but comfy. Room has TV and aircon but we didn't need it. TIP: We arranged in advance for the Rhiad to arrange the airport taxi transfer (about 25mins) and a 'barrow man' to transport our luggage from the taxi to the door (would recommend you do this otherwise you may struggle to find it). Just email them. The cost is added to your bill - not expensive. We pre booked a meal for the first night as we were going to arrive late afternoon and tired. We both had a lovely 3 course meal and the service was great. Note: No alcohol is available on site. Breakfast was simple and tasty. Fresh croissants and orange juice, omelettes, help yourself coffee/milk...teas if you preferred, tasty jams, flat breads, sliced oranges and honey. Some mornings we had a fresh fruit cocktail as well and small pieces of cake. Plenty to start your day. All the staff were friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, spoke very good English and nothing was too much trouble. Don't be afraid to ask for advice/prices/prebooking etc if you need to get to a tourist attraction. The accommodation is located within the on the edge of the main souk very close to the "Hussle and Bussle" but located on a quite alleyway. We were sorry to leave and hope to return.

The Riad was beautiful. A cross between the charm of a a high class traditional riad but the luxury and service of a hotel. Wonderful friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble and location for inside the walls of the Old town for the Souls and the square was perfect. Also the massage was one of the best I have had for a long time and I am very lucky about massages. Finally- mimi the cat, who only bothers you if you want to be bothered, which I did, was my new best friend which added to my trip;) Both my Mum's and I would recommend this place and we will difinitly be back.

Having a spa inside the Riad was also great and very convenient.All the services we used from the riad (dinner, massages, spa and day trips)were very fair priced and great services. We didn’t use much the rooftop but the view was great and a fine place to relax and sunbathe with privacy.
Cons: This is a separate Riad from the main one and the location is quite central but to reach de main road it’s a very tricky alley…then in the main road to reach the Jemaa el-Fnaa it’s allways very busy with people eating in the road….we had some hard times there during rush hour, it’s probably the most crowded 10 meteres in all marrakesh. Showers were not well designed and spilled a lot of water outside…not very confortable to use, it’s a detail easy to fix and can improve the quality of the stay.many TV’s in the house but we could not tune in any channel… Wi-Fi was not working the second floor and was very poor in the first floor, and we had to use our own internet there, even if they had several rooters in the house.

We stayed at the 3 bedroom Riyad which was separate to the main hotel. It was stunning and exceeded expectations. Rooms all a good size (en-suite) and had a hot tub. The staff from the hotel were so helpful when we had issues and Nadra was very kind and made us feel at home at the Riyad itself. Had a scrub at the Riyad which was also fantastic. Thank you!
Cons: The streets around the Riyad can be a bit quiet at times if you are solo but okay if you are in a group.

The staff here are exceptionally accommodating and helpful. The receptionist on the first day made sure we got a map of Morocco and explained to us where to find tourist spots, warned us of potential scams, educated us about the normal price fr basic commodities which was very helpful. They allowed us to keep our bags at their place, while we went for a guided tour and were very caring of our needs. Hammam and spa was very good. The property in itself is aesthetically pretty.

The staff was beyond compare. Kind, happy, helpful. The location amazing if you desire to be right in the heart of the Medina. The beds super comfortable; the riad a quiet, calm respite from the bustling souks - we slept amazingly! Breakfast was delish & plentiful. Phenomenal traditional pastries greeted us in our room. Laundry was done quickly & stained clothes came back clean - obvious that attention & care was given. All tours & guides booked thru riad were fantastic & so reasonably priced. We arrived after midnight & the hotel’s arranged driver was there waiting for us, then their other employee met the transport at the square to take our many heavy bags in a wheel barrel like cart thru the square & souks to the riad. SEEMLESS. EASY. Hammam services weren’t fancy but nonetheless excellent! Loved!

Cons: La spa e’ a pagamento e va bene… pero’ purtroppo il “ massaggio “ che una loro ragazza mi ha fatto e’ stato veramente orribile. Credo non avesse la minima idea di cosa fare.. oltre che mi ha lasciato da sola nella stanza dieci minuti con la porta aperta….( a meta’ massaggio in teoria…). Le camere a piano terra sono buie poiche’ le uniche finestre danno direttamente sulla piccola parte comune di ingresso quindi nn e’ possibile tenerle mai aperte conservando un minimo di privacy!

A perfect place to stay for a few days to be in the heart of the vibe of the medina. The staff in the hotel could not have been more friendly or helpful. We had breakfast included which was a varied and great start to the day. We dined in the Riad on our first night and the meal was authentic local cuisine and very tasty - would certainly recommend it to others.
Cons: It is difficult to find fault in any way. You are in the heart of the city so there will be some noise early in the morning but that is only to be expected. The call to prayer is also part of the experience!

Wir haben wunderbare Tage im Riad L'Etoile verbracht. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und schon die Organisation des Shuttles vom Flughafen hat perfekt geklappt (das würden wir jedem ans Herz legen, durch den Hauptplatz und die engen Gassen der Medina mit dem Koffer zum Riad zu finden, ist nicht so einfach). Das gesamte Riad ist sehr gepflegt, unser Zimmer war ebenfalls sehr sauber. Das Heizen des Zimmers hat problemlos geklappt, die Temperatur war sehr angenehm. Das Frühstück war gut und es wurde auf Wunsch alles nachgebracht. Es gibt auch einen Hamam und Massageräume, wir haben es allerdings nicht ausprobiert. Ganz entzückend war, dass uns sogar unser Frühstück als Jausenpaket vorbereitet wurde, da wir sehr früh zu unserer Weiterreise aufbrechen mussten. Die Lage ist 1A, eine kleine Seitengasse vom Hauptplatz entfernt - man ist sofort mitten im Geschehen. Die Rezeptionistin hat uns auf einem Plan alles erklärt und Tipps zum Handeln in den Souks gegeben. Rundherum eine tolle Erfahrung!
Cons: Die Zimmer im Erdgeschoss (wo unseres gelegen war) sind leider sehr hellhörig. Wenn es dann asoziale Gäste (für die das Riad nichts kann) gibt, die im Innenhof spät abends/nachts lautstarke Unterhaltungen führen, hört man das 1:1 im Bett und wird wach gehalten. Hier wäre es eventuell sinnvoll, seitens der Rezeption Gäste am Abend darauf hinzuweisen, dass im Innenhof eine ruhigere Gesprächslautstärke erforderlich ist.

This place is truly amazing; i was searching online for days and days for the perfect riad.. and finally decided for this one! The location is TOP, next to the souls but on a side street that is quiet, clean with lots of light; you will feel safe walking back at night, trust me on this! The rooms are clean, equipped with tv, ac, kettle pot, fridge etc. The staff is really nice, gave us tea and sweets and were there at all times The cleaning ladies arranged our bed and bathroom DAILLY ❤️ Also i must mention MIMI ❤️ cutest staff member!
Cons: I loved everything✨ only addition i have, it’s by own taste preferences; meaning the breakfast was bit too on the sweet side (totally understandable as hey serve moroccan breakfast); but would be nice to include more veggies and/or salty options. But, as I said.. personal preference not a minus for this Riad

We booked Dar Emeraude, the private annex house of the hotel. It was stunning, we love the privacy and the design. A special thanks to Jamila, the host who warmly welcomed us and prepared us a delicious breakfast. I really recommend it, especially for families and friend groups. Great breakfast served on the rooftop terrace every morning- all served fresh by very friendly staff. We booked dinner at the Riad one evening- again on the terrace- and it one of the best meals we had in Morocco. Room was air conditioned, well equipped and spacious with a fridge and teams coffee-making facilities. The massage and Hammam we had at the Riyad was amazing- very highly recommended.

Cons: The rooms are maybe a little small but the Riad is very big & it never felt cramped. The staff are amazing & so helpful & kind however there's always someone in the Riad so there's not always much privacy during the day which is a shame. The Riad can be a bit difficult to find, particularly at night. I'd recommend dropping a pin on your phone map before going out so you can find it again particularly as there are no signs leading to it or outside the door.

La struttura era vicinissima alla piazza centrale di Jemaa El Fna, molto accogliente, bella e pulita. Fornito di una magnifica terrazza attrezzata con Jacuzzi. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile per ogni richiesta. Abbiamo cenato due volte in terrazza (cibo ottimo e su richiesta fornito anche vino bianco marocchino). Colazione abbondante e buona. Stanza perfetta, con aria condizionata, sempre perfettamente pulita e riordinata. Struttura fornita anche di hammam e massaggi (di cui non abbiamo usufruito). Ci hanno organizzato il servizio taxi al nostro arrivo dall’aeroporto fino alla Medina. Ci hanno aiutato ad organizzare tour esterni alla città (es. escursione nel deserto).

The Riad is located in the Medina and has no direct access by car. That being said Fati arranged for a porter to pick us up at El Fna Square and bring us to the Riad. Although located in the medina market which was noisy and crowded, this Riad in itself is very quiet and peaceful. The Riad is well maintained and all the staff including Fati, Azedine, Ayman and Abdo would go out of their way to be helpful. The location is great as you are minutes from the square and can access all the sites within 15 mins walk. The breakfast is good and they try to vary it a bit on a daily basis. We had dinner at the rooftop and it was very good. We also did the hamam and massage in the Riad, which was excellent. I would recommend this Riad as a great place to stay in.

Experience at the riad Letoile Dorient was amazing. Entire process from airport pickup to the trek in the extremely busy medina to our riad was amazing and memorable. Once we reached the riad we received a warm welcome with tea and biscuits along with great tips and a thorough walkthrough for our stay. Fati , Azadine, the night crew and the lovely ladies at the breakfast bar made this stay unforgettable and we wish we had stayed longer. It was a bitter sweet goodbye but we will be back and we will be sure to book the gienna suite again at Letoile Dorient

Where to start... When we arrived, Adezine provided us with fresh mint tea and discussed the best tourist attractions/things to look our for in Marrakech. Given that this was our first time here, it was really helpful! Then, we were given a full tour of the riad, and Adezine answered all of our questions. We had lovely breakfast served every morning and a friendly welcome every afternoon. The staff made the experience so enjoyable with their attentiveness and warmth. Adezine helped us plan our day in Agadir and helped with our transfer as the language barrier was difficult for us. Abdo was also very attentive and friendly, he helped us with the AC without hesitation and checked in with us throughout our stay. The hammam was amazing and so worth the money, and the riad is just beautiful. I really liked the location as we could get to the medina within minutes. I would 10000% recommend this stay and I will be returning here the next time I visit. Thank you :)

The person from the Riad was very helpful and showed us on the map the first morning what to visit and see and what the habits were. It was very interesting and useful. Riad itself is very pretty and there were cute cats. We did the cooking class with Jamilla and that is certainly recommended!

The Riad was absolutely stunning! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a delightful fragrance and big smiles from the friendly staff. The manager warmly welcomed my family and me, taking the time to mark nearby attractions on a map, including closing times and entry fees. The property itself was cozy and intimate, exactly as depicted in the pictures. The staff were incredibly friendly and always made time to chat with us, offering great recommendations for places to eat and visit. Even if you don’t plan on buying internet, getting around is easy—one of the day staff ( sorry i forgot her name) introduced me to an offline map, which really helped us explore the area safely and independently. I found this gesture very considerate. Another staff member, Abdul, was especially helpful. He guided us on local prices by checking out pictures of items we were interested in and was super kind to my family. Abdul also answered our questions about the local culture with a great sense of humor, often joking with my parents, which made us feel right at home. Overall, the Riad was more than just a place to stay—it felt like a safe haven where we could truly relax and enjoy our holiday. It made our trip even better!

So you have to walk through the markets to get to the riad. Streets are not lit very well at night. But location great just jn the middle of the markets.

Excelente localização, situado a poucos metros da Praça Jamaa el Fnaa, o que permite visitar facilmente toda a cidade a pé. Apesar de estarmos na Medina, o Riad é absolutamente tranquilo. Edifício bem conservado e bem decorado, terraço muito agradável e bons quartos com tudo o que é necessário. Pequeno almoço e jantares muito bons, comida caseira e bem confecionada. Boa experiência de SPA com uma ótima massagem de relaxamento. Por fim e não menos importante, a simpatia, disponibilidade e atenção que recebemos de todo o staff fez com que a experiência da estadia no Riad fosse fantástica. Muito, muito obrigada ao Azedine, à Fati, ao Abdul e restante staff por nos terem feito sentir em casa durante estes dias em Marrakech.

The location is in the city centre, however, probably due to holiday season it took time to get to the Riad at night, as taxis couldn’t pass through the crowd so we alighted far away from the Riad at night. The Riad staff provided taxi on request and also someone to accompany us from the Riad to where the taxi packed. Overall, the staffs were lovely. I requested for early breakfast most days and they came through. The accommodation was so clean, overly and thoroughly cleaned always, thanks to Yakut (not sure I spelt that well). The admin staffs too lovely, same were the ladies in charge of our massage sessions. Superb ❤️ All in all 10/10

Le Riad est idéal pour passer de bonne vacance et se reposer. Le cadre est très agréable et le personnel très gentil. Chacun matin nous avons pu prendre le petit déjeuner marocain sur le rooftop préparé par une cuisinière. Le dernier jours nous avons pu laisser nos valises et nous avons même pu patienter dans le salon climatisé en attendant notre vol. Le personnel est de bon conseil pour Marrakech

El Riad está muy bien. Nosotros éramos un grupo de 6 amigos y estuvimos en Privatized Blue House, que tenía jacuzzi y una azotea con tumbonas. Las habitaciones, una bastante pequeña, las otras dos bien y todas con baño propio. Vinieron a servirnos el desayuno a la habitación (que estaba riquísimo) y la chica un encanto. En el hotel fueron super amables, nos ayudaron en todo. La ubicación está cerca de la plaza principal. Si quieres vivir una experiencia local, con muchas comodidades y cerca de todo, 100% recomendable.
Cons: Los colchones alguno son un poco duros. La primera vez que llegas al Riad, es un poco lioso pero luego cuando te sabes el camino es fácil. A su favor, los chicos de recepción se ofrecieron a venir a por nosotros a la plaza y guiarnos, pero nosotras quisimos ir solas y por eso nos costó más.

The staff were incredibly friendly and readily provided recommendations for restaurants, cultural attractions, bars and even nightclubs! The Riad was homely and centrally located. The main square was a 5 minute walk away and most attractions within the Medina were, at most, 15 minutes walk away. The facilities were excellent and clean. We stayed in the Diham suite which was not huge but it was pretty, well kept and had enough space for 2 people's stuff. It also had a working TV with international channels so I could watch the Euros!! We had a delicious 3-course hand-prepared meal for £17pp. I would even go as far as to say the minibar was reasonably priced with water being 1 euro. I would highly recommend this place.

La amabilidad y el trato del personal es excelente. Houda es una persona encantadora, atenta y muy dulce, hace que tu estancia en el riad sea como en casa. Fati es una gran amfitriona, y solo llegar te hace una pequeña explicación de Marrakech que te ubica al momento.. El riad está muy bien ubicado, literalmente a 2 minutos de la plaza Jema el Fna, eso si, aunque veas que las calles para llegar son estrechas y vayas hacia una calle sin salida... Adelante! Los chicos que tienen una panadería en la esquina te enseñarán donde está sin problemas. Recomiendo 100% la estancia, repetiría sin ningunda duda.
Cons: Por la noche la calle es un poco ruidosa hasta las 2 o así, hay un negocio relativamente cerca que hace que haya movimiento en la calle, pero bueno, totalmente al estilo y ambiente de toda la ciudad.

The staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast was good. The location is near the main market square, but not right on it--convenient but without the noise.
Cons: We don't recommend booking outings through the riad. We had a driver who drove dangerously fast on winding mountain roads and engaged in road rage with another vehicle while driving us back from an outing. We complained about it, but the same driver was sent to drive us on the next outing! The beds are very hard, like sleeping on a concrete slab. I understand this is typical in Morocco, so don't let that put you off too much as it is probably similar in other riads.

Wir waren 10 Tage in diesem wunderschönen Riad mitten in der Medina von Marrakesh und können das Hotel nur jedem empfehlen. Es ist ruhig, wunderschön eingerichtet, sieht aus wie auf den Bildern. Wir waren als Paar unterwegs aber auch gut Familien ist das Riad gut geeignet. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Und wurde direkt bei der Ankunft das Riad gezeigt und wir haben wichtige Tipps zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt bekommen. Unser Zimmer wurde täglich sauber gemacht. Das ganze Riad hat einen hohen Standard (auch an Sauberkeit) und das Frūhstūck war perfekte Start in den Tag. Immer lecker, immer frisch und üppig. Wir haben auch den Flughafentransfer vom Hotel genutzt und können das nur weiterempfehlen, weil es sehr entspannt und unkompliziert war. Außerdem sind die Taxifahrer in Marrakesh mit Vorsicht zu genießen, sodass der Transfer viel Stress rausnimmt und auch verhindert, dass man direkt bei der Ankunft schon abgezockt wird. Für alle, die selbst anreisen: Vorsichtig Taxifahrer nennen gern einen Fix-Preis und beim aussteigen sagen sie dann einen höheren Preis und halten plötzlich die Hand auf. Da heißt es hart bleiben und auf den Ursprungspreis bestehen. Das Riad ist einfach perfekt, um nach einem hektischen Tag auf den Straßen von Marrakesh runterzukommen. Einen dicken Pluspunkt bekommt die schöne Dachterrasse.
Cons: Wir hatten außerdem eine Massage und Hammam im Hotel gebucht. Die beiden Frauen waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Massage allerdings würden wir nicht nochmal buchen, da sie im Vergleich zu anderes doch recht teuer war und wir schon bessere Massagen hatten.

Everything was great at the hotel from Staff to the facilities to the tasty food. We had lunch and breakfasts at the hotel. The staff really has to be commended for their helpfulness, friendliness and simply very accommodating to us. We also particularly enjoyed our private tour in the souks with the guide provided by the hotel. The guide really went over and above to host us that day and he genuinely was proud to talk to us about his country.
Cons: We did find the Spa treatment at the hotel can be improved by being slightly gentler and for the staff to be more aware of the guests' belongings as one of our hats was splashed with massage oils in the dark room. We also faced difficulties with the Agafay tour booked in the last day. The pick up was late, the lunch was late and the return journey was quite eventful. I would suggest that perhaps the hotel to find a different provider for this specific tour.

Beautiful house, far exceeded our expectations. Big bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The living area was spacious and the roof terrace lovely. The staff were so helpful. Houda was amazing every morning preparing a wonderful breakfast for us. Always smiling and friendly. Azzedine was in the main Riad ready to help at all hours. Thank you so much for making our trip special.

Cons: The location is quite hard to find and almost impossible to access by car. This could have been made clearer. The suggested car parking is about a 15-20 minute walk away through the busiest part of the medina.

Le Riad était magnifique. Le personnel était au petit soin. Notre hôte était extrêmement gentil ( on a servit mieux que un palace) et cuisinait à merveille et le petit déjeuner était très bon. L’emplacement était bien situer et le quartier très calme mais pour des personnes qui ont un sommeil léger pour être réveiller par la prière. Le transfert de taxi et bagage à été parfait, le personnel a super bien gérer. Je conseil vivement ce riad pour un séjour à Marrakech.

Bei unserer Ankunft am Abend wurden wir mit Tee und Auskünften für den nächsten Tag begrüßt. Das Frühstück wurde individuell am Tisch serviert. Frisch ausgepresster Saft und Omelett nach Wunsch. Die Rezeption hat sich in allen Belangen um uns bemüht.
Cons: Die Unterkunft ist schwer zu finden, da in den Gassen der Medina keine Autoanfahrt möglich ist. Am Abend ist die Zuwegung zusätzlich eingeschränkt. Der Transfer organisiert vom Hotel sollte deshalb in Anspruch genommen werden.

Sehr freundliches und jederzeit hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstück wurde auf der Dachterrasse serviert und es gibt die Möglichkeit einer Spa-Behandlung direkt im Riad. Die Ausgangslage ist super für die Besichtigung von Marrakesch und besonders der Medina. Man ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß am Djemaa El Fna.

La posizione è comodissima in una via riparata a 2 passi dalla piazza più grande della Medina. La gentilezza e disponibilità della staff sempre pronti ad accoglierti con educazione, discrezione ed un sorriso alla concierge. Un plauso a loro, vera anima di una struttura ricca di fascino che ti accoglie come un'oasi di pace nel vitale kaos che la circonda. Bellissimo risvegliarsi al canto degli uccellini quando fuori sai che la Medina è brulicante di gente. Ottimi i servizi, come i massaggi nell'hammam, la colazione e la cena sul terrazzo. Consiglio a tutti una sosta in questa struttura.

Being situated only five minutes walk from the main square and two minutes from our favourite Marrakech restaurant not to mention the souks and many street food options this riad's location is absolutely perfect, an elegant and spacious oasis of calm in the hectic medina. It's decor is of a high standard and is in a contemporary but still very Moroccan style. The staff were all charming and very helpful, offering all the information, help and assistance that you could require. The breakfast was in a typical Moroccan hotel style but done to a high standard and the coffee was exceptional. To begin the day in such oppulent surroundings was a delight. Proximity to a mosque and it's regular calls to prayer might be a problem for some (I'm a light sleeper) but we love the sound and thoroughly enjoy being immersed in this aspect of Moroccan life. The roof terrace offers somewhere peaceful to chill out and there are great views of the Atlas mountains (snow-capped on our March visit) on the horizon. We've been visiting Marrakech for over twenty years, always staying in the medina, and this is definitely one of best riads we've ever stayed in.
Cons: Absolutely nothing: we loved staying in this riad.

Cons: Tout , nous avions réservé à 8 sur photos du Riad l’étoile d’orient .. le manager nous explique que nous serons logés à côté , dans soi disant une annexe digne d’un petit paradis aussi bien loti que l’étoile d’orient . Ayant toujours fait confiance à Booking , j’ai dit ok . Sauf que l’annexe est inconfortable, pas très propre , mal insonorisé des chambres petites et vieilles . Un jacuzzi qui est un bassin à bulles qui ne fonctionne pas et est extrêmement bruyant . Un petit déjeuner avec des produits décongelés : les crêpes n’étaient jamais du jour ni même de la veille . Bref l’annexe que l’on nous a loué au même prix que le Riad étoile d’orient n’a rien à voir avec un petit paradis mais alors pas du tout ! La mauvaise foi du manager lorsque j’ai averti booking et son manque du sens du commerce et de l’opinion de ses clients est le pois chiche sur le couscous ! Il n’a rien voulu savoir ! Nous sommes partis à 8 dont des retraités et tout le monde a été très déçus ! C’est une honte que de promouvoir un établissement avec des jolies photos pour au final nous caser une fois sur place et pris sur le fait accompli dans une annexe qui vaut un tiers du prix ! C’est du vol ! Marrackech Arnaquech !

Nous avons logé dans l'annexe "bleu" à quelques pas de l'hôtel en lui-même. Avons bénéficié de tous les services de l'hôtel, un personnel étant dédié uniquement à cet annexe. Parfait pour des familles avec enfants ou entre amis (3 grandes chambres avec sa salle de bains) Les + : le toit terrasse et le jacuzzi :) Le riad est très bien situé, le transfert depuis l'aéroport était parfait, l'accueil parfait aussi, tout comme les informations sur la ville, les petits-déjeuners et repas du soir ; les cuisinières chargées du riad cuisinent merveilleusement bien ; ménage impeccable, elles savent être à l'écoute du client (plats plus petits pour les enfants par exemple). La communication avec l'équipe était au top de la réservation jusqu'au paiement. Aucune mauvaise surprise. Nous recommandons ce riad caché dans une petite rue accessible uniquement à pieds mais qui dévoile de très belles choses une fois la porte ouverte :)

Nous avons apprécié l’emplacement dans la médina proche de la place Jemaa El fna. L’accueil qui nous a été fait a été très apprécié. On nous a même proposé de nous réserver une table dans un restaurant. C’était à la hauteur de notre attente. Nous reviendrons si l’occasion se représente.
Cons: Ras. Juste une remarque qui n’a rien à voir avec notre hôte la présence des mobylettes dans les ruelles de la médina ce qui entraîne de la pollution et des déplacements difficiles.

Een uitstekende riad op een zeer centraal gelegen locatie, midden in de souks. Perfect voor wie graag onmiddellijk de sfeer wil opsnuiven. Voor wie graag wat rust wil, na een daguitstap is het beter om een locatie wat buiten het centrum te kiezen. Heel verzorgde, propere kamers. Vanaf 8u wordt je ontvangen op een lekker ontbijt met verse fruitsap. Men probeert elke dag af te wisselen met pannekoeken, fruit, koffiekoeken, een omelet.... . Wens je 's avonds in je eigen riad te eten, dan verzorgen zij een lekkere maaltijd. Wens je liever buiten te eten, vind je om de hoek allerlei leuke bars, lokale en trendy restaurants. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Uitstappen, taxiservice... kan via hen geboekt worden. Boven op het dakterras kan je even luieren en genieten van de zon!
Cons: Wij hadden graag een kamer gekregen op de eerste verdieping. De kamer op het gelijkvloers ligt net naast de ontvangstruimte waardoor er wat lawaaihinder kan zijn (beperkt)

We stayed in the wonderful 4-bedroom house, which was honestly a magical stay. The rooms and facilities were fantastic. Location was prime, being only minutes away from the heart of the madinah and its wonderful chaos. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Hasan, who was so helpful and hardworking in getting our bags to and from our rooms. This was followed by Ayman, who gave us all the necessary information we needed for our stay. Our favourite though, the beautiful Jamileh (chef) that made our stay so extra special. Apart from her excellent breakfast/cooking each morning, her kindness was unmatched. If you get the opportunity to go to Marrakesh, I would highly recommend you stay at Riad L'Etoile D'Orient. Especially if you are a bigger group, staying in the 4-bedroom house would be the perfect stay in Marrakesh.

We got the bungalow for the couple of days we spent in Marrakech. This was a state of the art small house close to the Riad. Yakouts took care of provide us with warm food as we arrived late. Houda made us breakfast for us and made sure we had breakfast the following morning when we had to leave early to our tour. The amazing staff: Hayat, Ahibok were so lovely and hepful.

I liked everything about this riad. We had a great experience before departure as the communication with the staff was quick and easy (we already knew about the menu and the SPA treatments). It easy to reach since the main square is very close, so you don't have to walk a long distance with the luggage. The staff was amazing, friendly, kind, helpful, and they gave us plenty of advice about Marrakech. Dinner was amazing and delicious, and the breakfast satisfying. We also had a SPA treatment which was definitely worth it (hammam and massage)! The room is comfortable, towels are big, water is hot, there are a air dryer and a fridge, air conditioning works well. There is a jacuzzi on the top floor but we did not use it in December; the terrace is nice with tables and chairs
Cons: The room is not the biggest I have seen in my past experiences, but I already knew it when I booked. I think riads in Marrakech are smaller than riads in other cities like Fez. Even though the room is small, it is functional, it does not smell, and there is a perfect working air conditioning

Cons: Imposible llegar al Riad sin alguien que conozca la zona. Tras andar por una calle estrecha y muy concurrida, bajo un arco (que parece la entrada a una casa) se encuentra una calle que lleva a la calle donde está el Riad. Si nunca has estado en Marrakech ni algun lugar similar, no se te pasa por la cabeza que el alojamiento esté ahí ubicado. Pero siempre hay gente (de día y de noche) y está a un paso de la plaza Jemaa el-Fna.
