Il Riad si trova nella Medina, nel quartiere di Dar El Bacha, la zona piĂš elegante della cittĂ vecchia. Per raggiungerlo si attraversano vicoletti affascinanti e suggestivi. Gli ambienti sono arredati con grande gusto, un equilibrio perfetto tra elementi tradizionali marocchini e dettagli di design contemporaneo. Allâarrivo siamo stati accolti dal rituale del tè alla menta. Il patio è meraviglioso, intimo e scenografico, cosĂŹ come il rooftop dove viene servita lâottima colazione. La camera era splendida, dotata di tutto il necessario e curata in ogni dettaglio. Una chicca che abbiamo amato: il camino acceso la sera, davanti al quale gustare una tazza di tè in totale relax. Come per tutti i Riad della Medina, non è possibile arrivare il macchina. Il taxi vi lascerĂ sulla strada principale dalla quale il Riad dista due minuti a piedi. Lo staff è giovane, gentile, sempre sorridente e disponibile. Se dovessi tornare a Marrakech, sceglierei senza dubbio di soggiornare ancora qui.

Personale molto disponibile a dare informazioni. Ambiente accogliente Colazione buona Ci hanno aiutato ad organizzare sia il noleggio auto sia la notte nel deserto Preziose le info su ristoranti. Ci hanno regalato una carta sim marocchina per non avere problemi con il telefono. Un particolare grazie a Mohamed per la sua disponibilitĂ , ci ha dato anche un video per non perderci nel dedalo di stradine per arrivare al Riad. Brave anche le ragazze della Spa dove abbiamo fatto 2 volte il massaggio di coppia. Lo consigliamo .....la suite sul tetto stupenda!!! Ottimo anche il servizio trasporto bagagli per arrivare ai taxi.

Riad stupendo! La camera era bella, curata e molto accogliente. Il personale è super attento e cordiale: appena arrivate ci hanno offerto un tè di benvenuto, gesto davvero apprezzato. Prima del nostro arrivo ci hanno anche contattate con informazioni utilissime su Marrakech (eSIM, cambio soldi, consigli pratici), e in loco erano sempre disponibili ad aiutarci ad organizzare attrazioni ed escursioni. Alla partenza ci hanno persino omaggiato il servizio di trasferimento per lâaeroporto: davvero unâattenzione speciale. Abbiamo provato anche hammam e massaggio ed è stata unâesperienza splendida. Era la mia prima volta con lâhammam e non sapevo cosa aspettarmi, ma lei è stata bravissima e delicata: sono uscita completamente rigenerata. Molto bello anche il massaggio, unica piccola pecca la temperatura della stanza, faceva un poâ freddo. La colazione servita in terrazza è spettacolare e molto abbondante, un vero piacere svegliarsi cosĂŹ. Consigliatissimo!

Una volta entrati dalla porticina ci si trova in un luogo meraviglioso, il Riad è proprio bello curato nei particolari e di gran gusto estetico.Abbiamo dormito in una stanza grande, bella e soprattutto pulita e profumata. Il letto super comodo come anche la doccia. Nonostante sia praticamente al centro e vicinissimo a tutte le nel Riad non si sentono rumori. Lo staff ti accoglie con molta professionalità e gentilezza stando sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi necessità . La colazione è veramente TOP, molto varia e tutto molto buono.

Wow - our suite was absolutely stunning, very big, comfortable and super clean. The breakfast was amazing in a beautiful setting. It was particularly excellent for my partner who is coeliac, the staff were very accommodating providing him with lots of choice and even gluten free breads and cakes. Location was perfect, central and close to everything. Felt very safe, side streets to the riad are all well lit.
Cons: The only comment would be that the pool was a bit chilly as it wasnât the height of Summer and would have been nice being heated. However, we gave this feedback to the staff and they assured us that they would improve this by turning the heating up!

The riad had the perfect balance between traditional charm and modern comfort. From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel completely taken care of. They offered plenty of helpful information and recommendations for things to do nearby in Marrakesh, and even gave us a lovely tour of the property while explaining all the amenities. Our room was stunning â beautifully decorated, spotless, and designed with a state-of-the-art vibe. There was also plenty of storage space, which was perfect since I was traveling with my partner. The location of the property is excellent â itâs situated right in the heart of the Medina, close to many shops, cafĂŠs, and restaurants, making it an ideal base for exploring Marrakesh. While itâs a bit of a walk from where taxis usually stop, the riad goes the extra mile â if you let them know your arrival time, theyâll gladly send someone to meet you and help with your luggage, which makes the arrival smooth and stress-free. Breakfast, which was included in the room rate, exceeded our expectations. It offered a delicious variety of dishes with a Moroccan twist. The team truly went above and beyond â they even arranged a free airport transfer since we couldnât stay the full day, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The staff checked in with us the next morning to make sure everything was perfect and genuinely cared about our feedback. Itâs rare to find such attentive and kind hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakesh!

Top Lage, um die Medina zu erkunden und trotzdem ruhig. Das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir buchten den Transport ab Flughafen zum Riad direkt durch das Riad Ambre Epices. Am Rande der Medina wurden wir abgesetzt und wurden bereits von einem Mitarbeiter des Riads empfangen, der sich gleich um unser Gepäck kßmmerte. Das Essen, Abendessen und Frßhstßck, war hervorragend. Nach einem hektischen Nachmittag in der Medina, genossenen einen ruhigen Abend im Innenhof unseres Riads bei einer kÜstlichen Tajine.

This is a small Riad and with a relaxed but intimate atmosphere.The staff were all excellent and could not have been more helpful and friendly.The Riad is beautifully furnished throughout and smells glorious,the rooms are comfortable with a few flourishes.The bathroom was large and had a large walk in shower and stone sink.The breakfast provided was served on the lovely roof terrace and was different every day with fantastic Moroccan pastries,fruit yoghurt,choice of eggs fresh juice etc.There are lovely spots throughout to sit and chill and the small pools and internal waterfall were relaxing. We would gladly say here again.?The location in the medina in the old town near to the souk was perfect.There was a small spa and a good range of spa treatments.Those we had were also excellent.

There are a few small improvements which would take the services to top class such as robe in the room and not just for spa treatments and the take away breakfast which is provided for excursions( breakfast is from 8.30 am) could be improved but these are small issues and not a complaint.

The property itself was absolutely beautiful, a nestled little gem with a traditional Moroccan style. The room was stayed in was equally as stunning, with a massive chandelier and a huge shower. Located right in the Medina, it made exploring the city so easy as you could walk to any of the main attractions. However, the absolute highlight of the trip were the staff. They went above and beyond in making sure you were comfortable, with a focus on delivering the best that they could and answering your any needs. We did a day excursion that they organised and it was fantastic, as well as an in-house Hammam that was super relaxing. We highly recommend this place!

Wir haben vier unvergessliche Tage im Riad Ambre Epices Medina in Marrakesch verbracht â und wären am liebsten länger geblieben. Schon beim Ankommen spĂźrt man: Dies ist ein besonderer Ort. Mitten in der Medina gelegen, nur zu FuĂ erreichbar, entfaltet sich eine authentische Atmosphäre wie aus 1001 Nacht. Der Innenhof mit Pool ist eine Augenweide, unser Zimmer geräumig, das Bad schlichtweg phänomenal. Das HerzstĂźck dieses Riads ist das Personal: freundlich, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und mit einer Herzenswärme, wie wir sie in einem Hotel noch nie erlebt haben. Man fĂźhlt sich sofort willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Ein absolutes Highlight war das FrĂźhstĂźck: abwechslungsreich, frisch und liebevoll zubereitet. Selbstgemachtes Joghurt, der wohl leckerste Orangensaft unseres Lebens, frisch gebackenes Brot, Pancakes, Marmeladen, Wurst, Eier nach Wunsch (Spiegelei, RĂźhrei, hartgekocht) â alles frisch serviert. Auch der Kaffee war ausgezeichnet. Nichts wirkte standardisiert, sondern einzigartig und mit Leidenschaft gemacht. Das Riad ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um die Souks und SehenswĂźrdigkeiten Marrakeschs zu FuĂ zu erkunden â und zugleich eine Oase der Ruhe, sobald man zurĂźckkehrt. Wir haben selten ein Haus erlebt, das so viel Charme, Gastfreundschaft und Authentizität vereint. Das Einzige, was wir bedauern: dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten. đđđđđ Absolute Empfehlung â wir kommen wieder!

Always anxious visiting new places but this was very quickly changed by the warmth and reception we received- it was as if we were family. What amazing hosts in a spectacular building. Absolutely every aspect from welcome, room, food, decor, hammam, all staff and tour information and guide supplied were superb. Maryam and Karim contacted me in advance to ensure our short stay was exactly what we needed- very impressive way to run a business -so delighted to have found a true gem.

The staff were helpful and polite and rooms were very nice and comfortable. The location is good, very close to the market but not on a busy or loud street. The breakfast was very good and served on the roof which was very nice.
Cons: The air conditioning unit was very loud and not the best, if you book excursions through the Riad youâll pay around THREE times as much as through an agent.

The Riad is absolutely beautiful. The interior of our room is stunning, especially the bathroom with its massive bathtub. Breakfast is decent. The staff are absolutely helpful and generous with important information upon our arrival. Highly recommended.
Cons: Perhaps just a precaution to not expect so much from the pool. It is small and in the middle of the riad , sadly the reception staff has a table next to it, so it takes a bit the privacy to use the pool. Hence, small tip to maybe not put the reception table there.

Staff disponibile per ogni esigenza domanda e curiosità . Pulizia top. Rooftop fantastico dove fare la colazione. Posizione buona la Place Jemaa el-Fnaa si trova a 20 minuti a piedi, ma il Riad è in una posizione strategica dentro alla Medina vicina a tutti i punti di interesse principali in una via molto tranquilla. Anche i Giardini di Majorelle si possono tranquillamente visitare a piedi da Riad in 20 minuti. Consigliato.

The riad is beautifully decorated with great taste, perfectly located in the heart of the Medina. The traditional Moroccan breakfast was delicious, and they even helped us with currency exchange. They organized all the activities for us at very good prices. We truly felt at home.

From the moment we walk out of the Airport, we were greeted by our driver (that was arranged prior by the Riad staff). Once we arrived at the destination another staff was there waiting to accompany us to the Riad. Once arrived there we were welcomed by Mohamed with a nice cold drink and some traditional sweets. He took the time to present the Riad and give us information about the surroundings. The Riad and our room was very well presented, clean and had everything you could ask for. We are very grateful to have met Nada and Mohamed. They were always there to accommodate us with anything that we needed and made sure that we were comfortable during our stay. They arranged our tour, dinner, hammam, airport transfers, etc. They could not do more to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The Moroccan meals that we were served made our trip even more authentic and we really appreciate that is was cooked fresh on the premises every day. A huge thank you to Mouhcine, who was serving all our meals and special coffee and tea during the day and he was very pleasant and funny. The Riad is located at 2 minutes walk from the Royal Palace and the Souks, in the center of Medina and 10 minutes walk from the main market. Overall, we had an amazing experience and looking forward to go back. Thank you to all the fantastic staff at Riad Ambre Epices - Medina!!!

Il y a plusieurs espaces sur la terrasse avec une vue sur la medina tres bien dÊcorÊe (bains de soleil, lit baldaquin,...) . L emplacement assez proche de l entrÊe de la medina permet de sortir facilement de la medina et de tout visiter a pied (place jemaa el fna a 15mn). Le staff est tres chaleureux et aidant (merci a Nada et Mohamed ) . J etais seule avec mes 2 enfants et ils ont ÊtÊ tres sympa avec eux . Le petit dÊjeuner marocain etait tres variÊ et excellent (msemen, salade de fruits frais avec yaourt et muesli, pain , oeufs brouillÊ ..... ) . Nous avons aussi dÊjeunÊ et dÎnÊ sur place (brioutes, salades marocaines, pastillas de poulet ...) c- etait tres bon. Big thanks to Meryem and Nada in particular for being so accommodating during our stay. All in walking distance to the busiest parts of the medina and the Jardin Majorelle. Food was great but also check out Cafe Janaat on the route to the Riad if youâre staying here. My friend had a Hammam/Massage and said it was brilliant too.

From the moment my daughter and I arrived at this Riad, I knew we were in for something special. I've stayed in many hotels around the world, but this one stands out as one of the most wonderful experience I've ever had. A sua beleza condizentes com as melhores ideias que tinhamos de um riad. O pequeno almoço e a simpatia dos que nos atenderam foram gratifcantes. Um de nós experimentou o hammam e a massagem relaxante, o que se tornou não só numa vivência tipica de Marrocos mas tambÊm numa experiência única! Não podiamos deixar de referir a sua localização e o caminho para chegar ao riad, que apesar de ser dentro da medina, implica sair para voltar a entrar mas por breves minutos, quando queremos ir ao centro, mas que se torna numa experiência compensadora pelos locais que passamos. Este Riad estå recomendadissimo por nós para quem quiser ter uma boa experiência em Marraquexe :)

Hippe Location, Personal hat uns bei Ankunft sofort SIM Karten organisiert und uns ein Tipps fĂźr die kommenden Tage gegeben. Das FrĂźhstĂźck war sehr gut. Man konnte es drauĂen auf der Dachterrasse einnehmen. Zimmer waren auch sehr schĂśn. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohl gefĂźhlt.
Cons: Am Tag vor der Abreise habe ich einer Mitarbeiterin des Riads, die sich uns als Managerin vorgestellt hat, mitgeteilt, dass wir am nächsten Tag um 08:30 Uhr abreisen mßssen und gefragt, ob wir noch ein kleines Frßhstßck bekommen. Sie hat gesagt, das sei ßberhaupt kein Problem. Am nächsten Morgen wusste niemand Bescheid. Auch war kein Check out um diese Zeit nicht mÜglich. Es entstand dadurch eine sehr unangenehme Situation zwischen einem Mitarbeiter und uns. Das hat meinen Eindruck vom Riad leider sehr getrßbt. Der Riad wird von sehr jungen Leuten gefßhrt, die gerne mit dir reden. Aber im Endeffekt dann nicht auffindbar und nicht in der Lage, Informationen an die Belegschaft weiterzugeben. Ebenso hat die Abholung vom Taxi bei unserer Ankunft nicht funktioniert, obwohl wir vorher wie vereinbart angerufen haben.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Besitzer hat auch noch ein Designhotel in Tulum/Mexiko.
Cons: Lage ist nahe an der Medina, jedoch die Anreise mit eigenen PKW sehr mĂźhsam, da die angegebene und auch die von Google Maps empfohlene Adresse leider nicht stimmt. Die Unterkunft ist versteckt im Gassengewirr der Medina und nur nach langem FuĂmarsch und mit viel Fragen nach dem Weg erreichbar. Es gibt auch keine Hinweisschilder und das Riad ist nicht mal wenn man dann tatsächlich vor der TĂźr steht gekennzeichnet.

This was the ideal place to relax after spending 2 days trekking in the atlas mountains. The staff were excellent, managed to check us in early, helped us print boarding passes, booked our transfers, gave us advice on what to do in Marrakech and, of course, provided us with mint tea whilst we were (briefly) waiting for the room. Riad seemed very authentic, clean and comfortable. Had a great hammam and massage at a reasonable cost. The 3 course breakfast on the rooftop was also fantastic. Would happily recommend this place to anyone I know travelling to Marrakech.

A stunning riad nestled in beautiful Marrakesh. Itâs the perfect place to wind down and relax after experiencing the wonderful city. We ate dinner every night at the riad because the food was fresh and delicious, and enjoyed a hammam which was incredible. The room was perfect, the bed was really comfy, the staff were incredibly helpful and we loved the bed on the roof top to lie in the sun and read and watch the sunset. Marrakesh is incredible, we loved it all and finishing our time in Morocco at this stunning riad was the icing on the cake. We didnât want to leave! Would highly recommend to everyone.

Cons: No outdoor pool. No alcohol on the premises. . They put a plastic cover over the internal courtyard in the winter to protect it from rain which feels oppressive so be aware of this. I didnât like that they served breakfast on wooden plates but they changed them to crockery when we mentioned it. I didnât like the first room we stayed in but was easy to change.

Situated within the maze of the Medina so youâre still part of the hustle and bustle of Marrakech but tucked away enough that itâs quiet and you feel safe, Ambre Epices was a dream to stay in. Very clean and comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with amenities, 10/10 breakfast and the in house menu was also incredible (menu changes every day). Donât forget to try out the hammam spa. Staff were beyond lovely, always greeting us with warm smiles and accommodating to our every need. I would recommend this Riad again and again.

Die Zimmer waren sauber.
Cons: Mehr als die Hälfte auf der Menukarte konnte man nicht bestellen. Das Essen war sehr schlecht. Auf der Booking-Seite steht, dass alkoholische Getränke angeboten werden. Vor Ort gab es nichts. Dies mit der Begrßndung, dass es viele Moscheen in der Nähe gibt und Alkohol deswegen nicht ausgeschenkt werden darf. Ungefähr 50 Meter entfernt wurde in einem anderen Riad Alkohol angeboten⌠Das Ein- und Auschecken verlief sehr chaotisch. Die Bezahlung vor Ort war sehr mßhsam und äusserts kompliziert. Es wurde verlangt, Bar zu bezahlen. Beim Auschecken bot uns der Chef an, die Buchung als No-show zu markieren, damit er die Gebßhren an Booking sparen kann und wir somit weniger zahlen mßssen. Wir traten auf den Deal nicht ein. Am Ende wurde die Buchung trotzdem als No-show markiert, worauf wir den Kundendienst kontaktierten und uns beschwerten. Die Fotos auf Booking widerspiegeln die Realität vor Ort in keinster Weise! Wir wßrden diese Unterkunft definitiv niemandem empfehlen!

Really liked the staff, they couldn't do enough for you and were very friendly and welcoming. All the food was really nice, especially the samosas and the breakfast. Great location, tucked away, so quiet but very close to everything. Having breakfast on the rooftop was great and we enjoyed the hammam with a massage afterwards. I would definitely recommend booking a transfer from the airport otherwise the riad would be quite hard to find first time.
Cons: We went in December, and as the riad is built for heat not cold weather it wasn't very warm anywhere in the building. (Apart from the hammam!) The room had an air conditioning unit/heater but it took several hours to warm up the room each time. The room was nice but quite small, not much room for 2 people and only one small wardrobe so had to live out of the suitcase. Not a major problem though.

Cons: Slightly challenging to find the Riad among the maze of streets, we would recommend booking transfers to and from the airport, making it much easier. The safe was also not bolted to the floor or wall, so you could literally pick it up.

Tried the spa/ traditional hammam experience. Very reasonably priced. I would recommend booking 1 person at a time vs. 2 people as the rooms are a little small. Staff is very responsive on Whatsapp and kind. We asked them to hold our luggage for us for 2 days before we checked in and they were very accommodating.
Cons: Staff are all very friendly and helpful but a little disorganized? We booked an airport transfer and had to remind them and wait for 15-20 minutes after the original booking time. We asked for extra eggs for breakfast and was told yes (totally okay if they said no) but they never brought the eggs. No daily water.

Colazione e cena sono consigliatissime. Le ragazze della Spa sono bravissime e i due ragazzi della reception disponibili e molto informati. Un vÊritable havre de paix au milieu de la MÊdina. C'Êtait notre deuxième sÊjour en famille au Riad Ambre et Êpices, et tout Êtait une nouvelle fois parfait. Le personnel est accueillant, chaleureux, à l'Êcoute, le petit dÊjeuner est bon et diffÊrent chaque matin, les chambres sont dÊcorÊes avec goÝt et avec des rappels traditionnels au Maroc. Il y a diffÊrents espaces pour se dÊtendre, la terrasse au dernier Êtage, les transat à l'Êtage du dessous, le salon au rez-de-chaussÊe, tout est mis en oeuvre pour que les rÊsidents passent un excellent moment dans un lieu intimiste mais oÚ chacun garde son espace. The Riad was beautiful with a relaxing rooftop. The staff were very warm and hospitable. They helped us plan excursions and just made our stay very enjoyable. I can tell that they take pride in making sure the customer has a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was ok, too many sweets/bread for us but its a common situation for Marrakech. In the evening the inner garden was beautiful - dimmed lights, no music, no daily visitors.
Cons: For this price we expected a perfect place. But unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations. We arrived at around 3pm, and first thing we saw - super noisy inner garden. Loud music, too many people around (probably daily visitors). Room was much smaller that we expected, because during the booking there were many photos from different rooms, and it was not possible to understand what room we will receive. Room had bad soundproof, so the music and conversations were heard clearly. Of course I can ask for another room, or ask to make music volume lower. But it's not something that you want to do after a long exhausting road.

The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. One of the highlights of our trip was experiencing the hammam and massage â an absolute must-try! It was so relaxing and worth every moment. Mohamed nous a reçus avec chaleur, en nous proposant du thĂŠ et des gâteaux, et en nous expliquant tout avec beaucoup de patience. Le riad offre ĂŠgalement des spĂŠcialitĂŠs marocaines que nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de dĂŠguster, ce qui nous fait regretter, mais nous sommes certains d'y revenir. Et pour une immersion totale, des cours de cuisines y sont proposĂŠs. La splendeur des lieux et l'hospitalitĂŠ font de ce Riad un vĂŠritable sanctuaire de tranquillitĂŠ. Beautiful, comfortable, and exceptional hospitality. Quiet, despite being right in the midst of the Medina. The staff were exceptional and were helpful and accommodating in every way possible. They helped with bags, made special meals for our picky toddler, and even got up early on our last day to make sure we had breakfast before a very early check-out. Donât hesitate to stay here with family as they were so kind to our son and made him feel very welcome and cozy.

Nous avons apprÊciÊ la localisation du Riad Centrale et à la fois dans un quartier au calme La literie confortable Le petit dÊjeuner Êtait bien Je remercie le personnel gentil de me l'avoir servi à 8h au lieu de 8h30 puisque nous partions en excursion. La terrasse est très agrÊable.
Cons: La chambre en rez-de-chaussÊe qui n'Êtait pas celle que j'avais rÊservÊ. Nous avions rÊservÊ une chambre double de luxe en Êtage et pour des raisons qui devaient probablement les arranger nous avons ÊtÊ "soi disant" sur classÊ dans une chambre familiale qui finalement ne correspondait pas du tout à ma rÊservation. Je n'ai pas apprÊciÊ de me faire croire à un surclassement !!! Nous avions choisi lits sÊparÊs dans la même chambre !!! Pas un lit en mezzanine et un en bas !!! Nous ne souhaitions pas être sÊparÊs du tout !!! L'option choix de la chambre lors de la rÊservation est faite pour cela !!! Choix proposÊ et confirmÊ par la direction lors de ma rÊservation !!! La chambre donne directement sur les fauteuils de dÊtente, pour les clients qui sortent du hammam, placÊs vraiment devant notre porte d'entrÊe que nous devions pratiquement enjamber pour accÊder à la chambre. Du coup le premier soir assez tard dans la soirÊe il a fallu que je demande aux personnes de parler moins fort pour que nous puissions dormir. Les clients qui sortent du hammam en peignoirs s' installent sur les fauteuils (photo) et discutent normalement sans Êvidemment se douter que la porte derrière Êtait une chambre ! Avec en plus un vrai manque d'intimitÊ pour nous qui devions garder les volets intÊrieurs et rideaux fermÊs en permanence. Et devoir s'excuser pour rentrer dans notre chambre. De plus nous avions choisi ce RIAD pour le SPA, en rÊalitÊ il n'y a uniquement qu'un hammam qui donne directement sur le patio, du coup devant notre chambre, sans SAS ou de salle de SILENCE ou REPOS (pour se changer ou se reposer après) et pour les massages aucune pièce rÊservÊe à cet effet. Les massages sont pratiquÊs dans les chambres !!! (Pratique habituelle confirmÊe par la direction et les masseuses) Nous avons rÊservÊ un massage en duo mais en fait qui Êtait "sÊparÊ" puisque la chambe avait une mezzanine (donc 1 en haut et l'autre en bas !

The staff were lovely and very willing to answer questions and help. They certainly gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast the following morning was lovely.
Cons: It's very hard to find and a fair old walk through back streets from the closest point a taxi can drop you (which we hadn't appreciated when we booked). We had already been two weeks in Morocco and a week of that in Marrakech so we were reasonably familiar with the area but we ended up needing to be guided in by a local who we wouldn't have found it without and had to pay for his services. Our only other gripe was that we asked whether they could book us a taxi to take us to dinner. They quoted a price, which was fine. We actually ended up before dinner going out and getting a taxi ourselves to the main square and back. In the evening they took us out past other taxis to a big black air conditioned minibus. I said, why have we got this? Isn't it expensive?? but was assured it was fine. When we came to settle up it was twice the price of a cab and the price we had been quoted was per person each way (!). I complained and in the end they only charged me for what a cab fare would have cost so they did resolve it but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. We had been there for a week just the week before, living in an AirBNB and getting around everywhere independently. It felt odd to be in a place that you needed a guide to find and wondered if they assumed you were more gullible than you were. That said, if you are a bit daunted by Marrakech and just want to be looked after, they will absolutely do that for you. Just wasn't our requirement.

The staff is friendly and helpful, though at times they can be a bit too lengthy in their explanations. On the positive side, the location is very convenient for exploring the Medina.
Cons: Breakfast does not include water, which must be purchased separately, and the options are mostly carb-heavy with limited variety, becoming repetitive. The Wi-Fi in the room doesn't work well, and there is no minibar. On my last evening, the staff asked me to complete a survey. I gave it back the following morning with honest feedback, mentioning the Wi-Fi issues and the absence of a fridge in the room as reasons for giving a 7 out of 10. After I handed it in, the receptionist offered me a free massage, which I appreciated. However, later that afternoon, another staff member explicitly asked me not to leave a 7 on Booking.com, as it would lower their rating. The massage itself was fine but performed in one of the rooms, and it didn't compare to the experience youâd expect from a proper spa in Marrakech. The sequence of events made the offer feel like an attempt to influence my review. Additionally, I found the riad to be overpriced; it costs as much as higher stars hotels, but the facilities feel more like a 3 star rather than a 4 star.

Everything! 10/10. Our stay completely exceeded expectations and the service was the best weâd ever experienced. It was great value for money! We organised a private car transfer through the hotel which was more expensive than a taxi (as expected) but so convenient and well worth the money. Once we arrived, the driver called down to the riad and they sent one of the team to come meet us with a luggage trolley. Itâs in a central location but down windy pedestrian only streets so it felt very quiet! Once in the riad, we were greeted by a really lovely lady (canât remember her name now) and she sat us down in some comfy chairs and organised some tea while we filled out the paperwork (passport details etc). This was such a lovely touch! She then talked us through the location of where we were, what was around us etc. and then the experiences and excursions they offer. For a riad (rather than a large hotel), I was really pleasantly surprised that this was something they offered. Our room overlooked one of the two small pools and had a shower. We were given the choice of two rooms but went with this one as the other had a bath; purely preference! The room was very pretty and had all the essentials. We also had some lovely sweet treats waiting in our room on arrival. The experiences offered were amazing and very reasonably priced given the convenience. We had a Hammam experience, a guided walking tour of the souks (a must to get the gist of the markets!), and a cookery course where we picked up all the ingredients from the market. The food was exceptional! There was always something new to try at breakfast. They did a selection of eggs (omelette, fried etc) fresh fruit pot, and pastries. Thank you so much to the team for making our stay unforgettable, particularly Mohammed and Abdul for being so kind to us while we were there. Nothing was too much trouble! We hope to be back again soon!
Cons: If I had to be really picky, the only thing I would say is the bed is very firm. That suited me as a firm bed is my preference, but my husband found it a bit too hard. And while this didnât apply to us, one thing to note is its possibly not the best location if you have accessibility needs as cars and taxis will drop you about 5 mins walk away due to pedestrian only streets.

Excellent riad with just 11 rooms. Staff were always helpful and provided knowledgeable assistance at all times. Breakfast on the roof area was varied and plentiful. Smiling service from Abdul! Mohamed was the riad host and organised our days out at Ourika Valley and Agafay desert resort. Overall a great experience for our 5 night stay.
Cons: Just a comment or two not necessarily negative. The riad is "dry" including bring your own. It is a 5 minute walk along narrow well lit passages from vehicle/taxi drop off. However your cases are taken by hand trolley to/from the riad. It's all part of the authentic medina experience! Felt totally safe at all times.

Ambre Epices Medina Riad exceeded my expectations. As a solo female traveller, I'd looked at a lot of other Riads and hotels before selecting this one, and I'm so glad that I did. From the moment I arrived, I felt comfortable and the staff's attention to detail helped make my time in Marrakech amazing and memorable. Siam was great and helped me plan excursions and how to find my way around the city. Mohamed was fantastic and helped ensure that I had info before I arrived in Marrakech and during my stay and daily activities. Abdul made me great breakfasts and mint tea, even for the morning of my flight. Overall, I was well looked after! Great hospitality! The trip to Agafay desert that the team planned was awesome - and ended with a beautiful camel ride at sunset- amazing experience! The Riad is also well located to walk to all the main sites and as a solo traveller I felt safe coming back late at night. I also had the Oriental hammam and massage at the Riad, which was the best massage I'd ever had! If you're thinking about booking this Riad, do it! You won't regret it.

Non è raggiungibile con auto o taxi ma abbiamo dovuto fare una strada a piedi che sembrava un labirinto, di sera non è per niente consigliabile, infatti io e il mio ragazzo tornando di sera abbiamo avuto una brutta sensazione come se qualcuno ci stesse seguendo, amiamo iniziato a correre allâinterno della Medina ma ambiente era sporco il mio ragazzo è inciampato sulla spazzatura

Nicest and most helpful staff ever! The cooking class was the highlight of our trip. Beautiful place, amazing location, quiet and peaceful. Lovely breakfast. Great places to lounge. Nice pools! Such a nice time here.

The whole Riad is beautifully decorated and simply stunning. It has a few different spa treatments and massages which we loved. We had an amazing room with the stunning bathroom. The staff was incredible, they prepared our wedding anniversary just into the smallest details - what a big surprise to us - it was just perfect!!! Siham, Mohamed and the rest of the staff were so helpful the entire time, gave us lots of recommendations and just made our stay unforgettable. We also experienced the local music, dance and the great food. We had the best time in Marrakesh. Thank you guys!

Le confort et l'accueil de nos hĂ´tes. Le riad est idĂŠalement situĂŠ. La cuisine est de grande qualitĂŠ avec une mention spĂŠciale et exceptionnelle pour le petit dĂŠjeuner! Un grand merci Ă Abdel qui nous a choyĂŠ pendant notre sĂŠjour.
Cons: Nous avons vÊcu une canicule sur Marrakech et la chaleur Êtait très difficile à supporter, un ventilateur serait le bienvenu. La carte du menu n'est pas exhaustive, si vous ne l'avez pas reçu par mail demandez la au personnel.

La beautĂŠ de l'ĂŠtablissement, avec un accueil +++ et SURTOUT une ĂŠquipe aux petits soins Ă chacun de nos besoins La situation : au coeur de la mĂŠdina, nous avons pu tout faire Ă pieds Les chambres superbes et une ĂŠquipe de propretĂŠ au top La terrasse roof top pour prendre le petit dĂŠjeuner La cuisine excellente (nous avons pris le petit dĂŠjeuner tous les jours et diner deux fois sur place) L'ambiance zen de l'endroit (des odeurs dĂŠlicieuses, des produits de douche parfumĂŠs etc...) Les excursions en van privĂŠ super bien organisĂŠes En bref un sĂŠjour fantastique et typique, foncez !!!

Excellent location, very close to the heart of the Medina whilst also being tucked away in its own quiet corner. The staff were so friendly and helpful, booking things like meals, taxis and day trips for us at a momentâs notice. The Riad had excellent facilities and the room was extremely comfortable. Our stay here really made our trip and Iâd highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing Riad experience!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Ambre Epices: the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, the beauty of the rooms and facilities as well as the great location in a beautiful neighborhood of Marrakech made our stay so terrific! We can only recommend staying at Ambre Epices - we've been to other riads as well but this one is our favorite and we'll be back for sure!

Lovely property with great staff. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Property is clean and food is good.
Cons: Location seems strange because you have to walk through a winding path to get to the riad, but I remembered the directions after a couple of times. I felt safe. My only complaint was construction on the adjacent building which was intolerable so they upgraded me.

Tout convenait admirablement.Le petit dĂŠjeuner, copieux,ĂŠtait servi avec un grand sourire .La chambre,très propre,silencieuse,ĂŠtait un havre de paix.Pour l'emplacement,bien situĂŠ, cela nous a permis de rayonner pour visiter les curiositĂŠs tout autour. Je n'oublie pas de parler du personnel,agrĂŠable, souriant,toujours aux petits soins.Cela n'a rien avoir avec les hĂ´tels en France oĂš l'indiffĂŠrence est Ă son maximum. Breakfast rooftop views and delicious breakfast. Unique yet beautiful rooms with great amenities and high quality toiletries. Superb customer service (particularly Mohammed, Karim and Abdul) - they helped us coordinate many our activities and transportation needs seamlessly. We did not know what to expect with the Hammam experience as first timers, but we felt great afterwards.
