Cons: There are some ants living inside the floor, because of the old building. Normally they don't come out, but leaving any food in the room is a bad idea. Riad is a great experience, but for westerners it may feel small or lacking facilities like a fridge.

Excellent séjour dans ce riad ! Le personnel sur place est vraiment gentil et accueillant, toujours disponible et souriant. L’emplacement, en plein cœur de la médina, est idéal pour découvrir la ville à pied. La décoration du riad et des chambres est faite avec beaucoup de goût, créant une atmosphère authentique et reposante. Le petit déjeuner est bon et copieux, parfait pour bien commencer la journée. C'est un très beau (mais tout petit) ryad. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées. Le petit déjeuner typique et généreux. Tout le personnel est très agréable et très serviable, spécialement Loubna! Idéalement situé dans la médina.
Cons: Il y a un peu de bruit mais c'est dû au style du logement, les chambres s'ouvrent sur le patio intérieur et ça résonne un peu. N'oubliez pas qu'il s'agit d'un pays musulman donc préparez-vous à l'appel à la prière au lever du soleil, on est juste à côté d'une mosquée.

Das Riad ist wirklich toll, mit einem wunderschönen Hof und einer tollen Dachterrasse. Wir hatten mit Loubna eine super hilfsbereite und kompetente Ansprechpartnerin, die für uns jederzeit erreichbar war. Danke dafür. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet und auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Location mitten in der Medina perfekt, nicht zu voll und auch das Meer waren fußläufig erreichbar. Es war sehr sauber!

Le personnel est au petit soin pour vous satisfaire dans la moindre de vos demandes. La literie est parfaite. La propreté des lieux est parfaite. Le petit déjeuner est plus que parfait. Les serviettes sont changées tous les jours. Tout est mis en place pour que l'on puisse passer d'excellentes vacances. Certains hôtels en France devraient le prendre comme modèle.

Recomendo muito essa hospedagem. Durante a viagem nos hospedamos em outros riads e esse foi de longe o mais bonito, limpo, confortável, além de muito bem localizado. Fomos aos pontos turísticos a pé. Também fomos caminhando da estação de trem até o riad com malas grandes de rodinha, e foi bem tranquilo, o calçamento do caminho é bem liso. Tem bastante opções de locais para comer perto. Apesar de o riad estar na medina (que, diferentemente das existentes em outras cidades, tem ruas amplas e é fácil circular e se achar) fica no final de uma viela sem saída, então o riad fica bem silencioso. A decoração do riad é incrível, já valeria a hospedagem só por isso. Quanto ao quarto, tinha uma cama confortável, bom chuveiro e nos atendeu perfeitamente. Um detalhe: nosso quarto ficava ao lado da cozinha, mas percebemos que a equipe tinha o cuidado de não fazer barulho muito cedo no preparo do café da manhã. Além disso, o transfer para o arroporto de casablanca foi ótimo, pontual e em um veículo confortável. Por fim, cabe mencionar que o atendimento da Loubna foi excepcional.

From the moment we arrived, Loubna and the rest of the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, and always with a smile. Their hospitality really made us feel at home and cared for. The riad itself is stunning. Beautifully decorated, full of authentic Moroccan charm, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent too: right in the heart of Rabat, close to the markets, historic sites, and restaurants.

Le Riad Sidi Fatah est très bien situé dans Rabat avec un accès à pied vers de nombreux points d'intérêts. Le personnel est très gentil, attentif aux attentes des visiteurs avec un accueil très chaleureux autour d'un excellent thé. Etablissement très propre.
Cons: Nous n'avons pas rencontré le propriétaire. A la différence d'une chambre d'hôtes, nous n'avons pas eu d'informations sur les curiosités ou les activités à faire .

I really loved the riad architecture, the welcoming and kind staff (kudos to Khalid, Lubna and Amina for making my stay extra pleasant), the cleanliness of the bedroom, and the great breakfast served on a nice terrace. The riad was in an excellent location, very close to one of the main gates of the old town, a tram and a taxi station and a good café restaurant just outside the old town walls. I even received a kind invitation from the riad manager to join their neighbours' wedding ceremony to really experience the local life!
Cons: I just found surprising that the pictures of the riad bedrooms on Booking show a golden carved wooden ceiling, which really attracted me to choose this riad over others, but then my room (and all the rooms whose door was open because empty) had a plain wooden ceiling. This didn't affect my stay at all though!

Loubna is the most gracious hostess. She and her staff were attentive to our every need. They helped direct me to my meetings, restaurants inside and outside of the Medina, prepared beautiful breakfasts that we could eat on the main dining floor or the two rooftop terraces. If you are looking to experience authentic Moroccan hospitality please consider a stay at Riad Sidi Fatah. It is centrally located and you can maneuver within the Medina with ease and safety. I will stay here again.

Me explicaron que la cocina no es lo suficientemente grande para ofrecer este tipo de servicios, pero yo les invitaría a que tomasen un acuerdo con algún restaurante cercano que pueda entregar platos a domicilio. Nos dieron autorización para hacerlo nosotros mismos y fue lo que hicimos.. se aprecia mucho poder cenar in situ después de todo un día recorriendo la ciudad.

This riad was so beautiful and perfectly located in the Medina. We were greeted by Loubna, who is one of the most delightful people we met on our vacation. She was so kind, so welcoming and so eager to help. We loved her so much, we're still keeping in touch now that we're home! Breakfast was delicious and we particularly enjoyed eating on the terrace. The online pictures are very accurate, it really is as gorgeous as the pictures show!!!

Nosotros finalizamos prácticamente en este punto nuestro viaje de un recorrido de casi 18 días por todo Marruecos con lo cual vimos que por el valor de 100 dolares que pagamos este hotel hemos encontrado hoteles mucho más bellos y bien mantenidos con desayunos más abundantes y variaados que este. Honestamente este hotel debería costar 60 dolares. No más que esto.

Nous avons séjourné au Riad pendant 3 jours et avons apprécié l’accueil chaleureux des hôtes en particulier Loubna qui a su rendre ce séjour inoubliable ! Le Riad est idéalement situé dans la vieille ville permettant ainsi de visiter Rabat quasiment à pied ! Le riad a su garder son authenticité et son charme marocain … avec cerise sur le gâteau un petit déjeuner royal et sur le « stah »! Pour finir, nos hôtes nous ont donné des supers tuyaux pour les restaurants ! Mille mercis pour cet agréable séjour

Loubna, Amina and the entire team were spectacular. I travelled with my mom, it was her first time in Morocco. She didn’t like the riad we stayed in fez so I was worried but there was nothing to be worried about - Loubna is the kindest soul and every person we dealt with went out out of their way to make us feel special and comfortable, checking in every day! I would highly recommend this Riad! The place was superbly clean, the food was great, and had the best energy!

Lubna was a very kind hostess who made us feel very welcome. She speaks English well and answered many questions to help orient us. We enjoyed talking with other travelers during the delicious breakfast.
Cons: We got a little lost in the medina even though it was only a five minute walk from where the taxi dropped us off. We liked the adventure, but that could have been difficult if it was late or we had too much to carry for a distance.

Cons: Our room, Marrakesh, and the entire riad felt quite dim and enclosed. The bedroom was painted a sandy hue, while the bathroom was a deep burgundy, giving both spaces a heavy, shadowy feel. Saloon-style doors led into the bathroom, and all the furniture throughout the room was dark and heavy, further adding to the somber atmosphere. The bright white lighting, rather than illuminating the space warmly, cast a harsh glare that made the ambiance feel cold and austere. Breakfast was served on large communal tables with benches for seating, which made the dining area feel cramped and uncomfortable—hardly the kind of setting where one could enjoy a relaxed start to the day. There were two fountains—one in the central courtyard and another wall-mounted on the first floor—but neither had water flowing, which left them looking neglected rather than decorative. Although the rooftop terrace was furnished with tables and chairs, it lacked a welcoming or comfortable atmosphere. Overall, the space felt confined and uninviting, with little sense of openness or ease.

Cons: Le manque d’isolation phonique est un gros point négatif. Le moindre bruit intérieur et extérieur résonne dans tout le Riad (douche des voisins- ronflement, fermeture et ouverture des portes, le déplacement des occupants, même le presse orange le matin résonne dans tout le Riad, les discussions dans les impasses, mobylettes). Autre point à améliorer, les équipements dans la salle de bain, un seul porte serviette pour deux trois ou quatre serviettes. Pas de support pour le produit douche dans la douche.

The lady on reception was so friendly and accommodating, offering to make us mint tea as soon as we arrived. We asked if we could have our breakfast on the roof terrace and they were more than happy to accommodate. They were also happy to answer any questions we had.

We were very happy with the location in the medina and near one of the medina gates to go out into the city of Rabat. The riad was beautiful and a real authentic traditional feel to the place. The staff especially Loubna were very friendly and attentive. Loubna helped us with whatever we needed. They were very accommodating to our needs and helped us change to a bigger room. The breakfast’s were delicious and Moroccan with a choice to eat in the Riad or in the terrace.
Cons: To experience the authenticity of this Riad you have to accept the rooms don’t have much natural light. The bathroom doors were a little awkward to open and close. The plumbing is not good leading to standing water in the shower and sink, the toilet flush is very loud which felt like we were waking up the riad if waking up in the night to use the bathroom. There was a coolness in the room which made our clothes that were out feel damp. For us these were minor inconveniences but if this would bother you then perhaps an authentic riad would not be right for you.

The location and staff were great! Our hosts were all very friendly and welcoming, so that’s always nice when you are on holiday. The morning breakfast makes it feel like you’re staying at someone’s home which is comforting.
Cons: I think like with most riads, it’s easy to hear noises from the common areas while in your room (or for people in the common areas to hear you). Not a big issue if you’re a heavy sleeper.

This was my last Riad in Morocco and it was a great place to end my 13-day trip. This Riad is located inside the Medina and is walking distance to a lot of things you can do, see, and places to eat. It’s located on a side street so that helps with the noise. Loubna was an incredible host! She went above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of. She went as far and ensuring I had a breakfast bag waiting for me at 3:30 because I had a flight to catch at 6am. She also helped me acquire transportation to the airport. It’s a smaller riad and that adds to the charm. The stain glass windows and the tile work in the bathroom elevate the beauty and don’t overwhelm you. The breakfast are typical Moroccan breakfast and they also treated me with mint tea.
Cons: Just be aware that the beds are slightly firmer in Morocco and this Riad was no different. The shower is a bit small but nothing to fret about.

The location was very good, when we finally found it. Even locals on the adjacent street didnt seem to know where the street was. Make sure you have access to an online map before you try to arrive. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast local breads and pancakes was filling. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The bed room was very small and the shower room miniscule. There was no way of stopping the shower soaking the whole shower room floor, which meant wet trousers/dresses on most days. Additionally the common space available was very limited. The Room tax was was charged at 4 euro, ie above the actual local rate. Payment in DM was possible - the Euro rate was converted back. Total price was Euro 97/night - the Riad felt more like a Euro 60/night max accomodation

Prachtig hotel! Kwamen te vroeg aan en de kamer was nog niet klaar en tegen thee aangeboden op het dakterras. Hotel is prachtig van binnen. Kamer super mooi en redelijk geluidsdicht. Aan elk detail is gedacht. Personeel is ook super aardig.

Gute Lage, absolut ruhig, sehr netter Empfang. Das Frühstück ist in einem typischen Raum, sehr passend für einen Riad. Für das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war es leider zu kalt, aber wir konnten die Terrasse abends geniessen. Man ist sehr schnell bei den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Personal gibt sich sehr Mühe und ist sehr hilfsbereit.

Perhaps we were spoiled by a recent stay at a riad in Marrakech for around the same price but this place was a bit of a disappointment. Beautiful courtyard but the rooms were a bit small with only a stool to sit on. Bathroom was lit with a single bare bulb and the shower was the size of a large coffin (I kept hitting my elbows while washing my hair) but my companion’s shower was larger. The place was very clean and the staff were warm and welcoming and it was five minute walk from the nearest entrance to the Medina.

This riad is fantastic. First, you can’t not notice the absolute beauty of the interior. It’s stunning. Second, the staff are always available to you and we’re all lovely and so helpful. The location in the Rabat Medina is perfect and the breakfast was delicious. We have nothing but great things to say about this riad and would for sure stay here again.

We stayed at this riad for two nights and had a wonderful stay! The woman who was managing the riad when we got there was very kind and helpful, and made our stay great. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and spacious, and since we were there in the winter, the heating in the rooms helped keep us warm at night. The riad itself also was beautiful and was extremely well kept. It looks even better in person, the pictures don’t show how beautiful it is. The breakfast in the morning was a wonderful assortment of eggs, breads, fresh orange juice, and jam. We absolutely loved the food! The riad is also in a great location– we walked to everything we visited in Rabat, and felt very safe walking to the riad at night after a long day of exploring the city. We would love to come back here! It was definitely one of the best places we stayed in Morocco.

Sidi Fatah é um riad pequeno mas muito bonito. Está bem localizado, a poucos minutos de caminhada da principal entrada da Medina (onde há um estacionamento 24h e muito seguro). Café da manhã muito gostoso. Sua dona é simpática e atenciosa e os funcionários são gentis. Ela atendeu meu pedido específico por um quarto.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Riad Sidi Fatah, Le personnel est très attentionné, accueillant et chaleureux, le service est parfait. Le petit déjeuner traditionnel est très copieux, permet de faire un seul repas additionnel dans la journée. La literie est très confortable. Le Riad en lui-même est très beau avec des ornements et mosaïques exceptionnels, il possède aussi une double terrasse pour profiter du soleil.

Host - exceptionally hospitable, welcoming and kind Location was perfect - a stone throw away from the heart of the Medina, and only a 10-15 minutes walk from the Kasbah and beach. Room - we requested a specific room and the host kindly accommodated us. The room was beautifully designed and truly authentic. Breakfast - although was more or less the same each day, was freshly prepared and tasty, especially the amlou with their various fresh bread :). I l enjoyed the amlou so much, the host kindly gifted me a jar - talk about going above and beyond! Extras: - iron was available upon request. - we had visited Rabat for a wedding and occasionally returned to the riad at unsociable hours, yet the hosts were great at making the necessary arrangements to allow us to enter the property, so thank you!

This riad is in a good location, just off a main street in the Medina, making it easy to explore without getting lost. The riad is small in comparison to some we have stayed at, but that made it all the more pleasant. The manager Loubna made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It was quiet (outside of the call to prayer being broadcast from local mosques) and the breakfast was delicious. The staff is wonderful and accomodating. I recommend a stay at Riad Sidi Fatah.
Cons: Our room was a bit small, and could have used a little more decoration. But not that important as we were mostly busy exploring Rabat and not in our room!

Excellent séjour avec mes amis au sein de ce magnifique Riad, tout était parfait : l'accueil, la gentillesse de l'hôtesse Loubna qui est juste ADORABLE et du personnel, ils sont aux petits soins pour nous. Très beau Riad et très bien entretenu, nos chambres étaient nettoyées chaque jour avec renouvellement des serviettes, excellent petit déjeuner sain et équilibré ... je recommande ce Riad à 1000% vous pouvez y séjourner les yeux fermés, vous n'aurez que de beaux souvenirs comme nous ... j'ai hâte d'y retourner

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans ce magnifique Riad très traditionnel dans la médina de Rabat. L’emplacement est juste incroyable, nous faisions tout à pied. Vous êtes à 10min à pied du théâtre, 5min du cinéma royal, 20min à pied des oudayas, le mausolée et le musée Mohamed VI. Les chambres sont fonctionnelles, décorées avec goût et très confortable. Le personnel est adorable, mention à Loubna qui est très souriante et tellement gentille. Le petit déjeuné est copieux et 100% marocains. Le gardien de nuit est adorable également ! La terrasse qui offre une vue sur la médina est génial pour les sunset 🌅. En conclusion, nous avons adorés notre escapade à Rabat. Très belle expérience dans un Riad, c’était la première fois pour nous. On se sentait comme des princesses marocaines haha. Merci encore et à bientôt !!

Nos gustó todo del alojamiento. Era cómodo y acogedor. El personal era super atento, las instalaciones, a pesar de ser clásicas de un riad, estaban muy bien. La habitación estaba muy limpia y cambiaban las toallas cada día. La ubicación era muy buena pues estaba muy cerca de muchos sitios de interés. El desayuno estaba muy bueno, era típico marroquí pero la propietaria del Riad se aseguraba de que no te quedases con hambre.

We loved staying here. It’s such an incredible riad, beautifully restored, with so much amazing detail everywhere you look. It’s right in the heart of the medina but also easily accessible and very quiet. We were so well looked after by Lubna and the other lovely staff, we felt like family. The breakfasts were amazing and the biscuits too! The room was a lovely size and very comfortable. Honestly, if you’re looking for a riad in Rabat, search no more! We really hope to visit again; thank you Lubna and your lovely team.

Sidi Fateh est un sublime Riad décoré avec beaucoup de goût, avec une très appréciable localisation centrale dans la médina. Les chambres sont charmantes et nous plongent dans une ambiance orientale feutrée. Elles sont propres, contiennent un beau mobilier pour le rangement et sont entretenues tous les jours. Personnellement, un de mes moments préférés journaliers étaient d’aller prendre mon petit déjeuner, fait maison, avec une pléthore de produits frais, accompagné d’un jus d’orange pressé et d’un thé à la menthe. Un merci tout particulier à Loubna pour son accueil chaleureux et sa bienveillance pendant tout notre séjour, ainsi qu’à toute l’équipe serviable pour leur gentillesse.

La verdad es que no entiendo las malas reseñas a este Riad. El sitio está muy bien, está muy bien reformado. Las habitaciones son amplias, las camas son cómodas y el desayuno es muy bueno, además de estar muy bien ubicado. El personal además es muy amable.

Posizione molto centrale e se venite in macchina a noleggio c’è appena fuori dalle mura un parcheggio sotterraneo molto comodo per raggiungere la struttura. This Riad is an excellent one to stay in Rabat. The location is wonderful. You can walk there from the train station and it's just inside the main gate of the Medina, in a very quiet street. It's such a unique, beautiful building. The rooms are stunning, clean, quiet and very Moroccan style. The beds are so comfortable. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast isn't buffet style, it's a set breakfast for all but really delicious and fresh. The roof terrace is great to sit and enjoy the sun and views. We would definitely return to stay here.
Cons: The shower and taps worked well, but the plumbing could be improved as the drainage in the sink and shower is very slow.

Mención especial a Bouchna y a la otra señora que me ayudaron en todo momento. El entorno, super seguro( yo viajo sola) También mencionar el restaurante que se encuentra justo enfrente,a pocos pasos del riad. Es buenísimo, muy bien de precio ,la comida excelente y el trato inmejorable.

Il est situé dans une ruelle au calme mais reste proche du cœur de la Médina, à 2 pas des marchés et à 10 mn à pied de la Kasbah et mer. Les dames sont très accueillantes et au petit soin. Très bon petit déjeuner. Il y a une terrasse accessible sur le toit. L'établissement est sécurisé toujours quelqu'un pour ouvrir en journée ou le soir. Pour des personnes souhaitant se reposer au calme, pas de TV dans les chambres. Avantage on se lève tôt pour visiter Rabat qui est une ville magnifique plein de sites à découvrir ! Nous recommandons cet établissement.

Amazing, richly decorated (recently build) Riad in the style of a traditional Moroccan town house. Hence you can also enjoy small en-suite bathrooms. All rooms are grouped around a small courtyard. The hotel is directly situated in the old Medina and has a nice rooftop terrace overlooking the old town. Traditional, simple breakfast. The owner was very friendly and helpful in every aspect!
Cons: Due to design of those houses be aware that all rooms open to the small courtyard. Therefore, you will also hear the other guests. Which was no problem for us.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Riad is located in a very quiet side street in the middle of the old Medina. So you are in the middle of the place where you need to be! You can walk easliy to everything were you need to go as a tourist. The hospatlity is absolute Champions League level. Very friendly and helpful and make you feel at home straight away. Breakfast was very delicious aswell. Futhermore we loved the furnishings and design in the Riad. You really feel you are in Morocco. If we come back to Rabat we will stay here again for sure!

The location is great right at the beginning of the Medina and very easy to move around. The staff was friendly and tried to help, the food was tasty and breakfast was good. It is well decorated, and beautiful in the common areas as well as in the rooms, with photos of Rabat then and now, with nice depictions of artistic history and architectural details and ceiling decorations.
Cons: The noise was difficult to cope with, Doors and rooms are not noise-proof and we had to deal with disrespectiful travelers in the evening that came late and wouldn't stop talking loudly. However the staff dealt with it nicely.

I left the room by Monday 16th of September , I had to pay for another hotel because we absolutely could not stay in this Riad. It was not as advertised, and we are extremely disappointed with the quality of the place. With the exception of the first night on September 14, I expect a full refund for the other days as we didn’t stay there.
Cons: Poor lighting! Room was much smaller than photos on the website as advertised.! Bad smell in the bathroom! Employees talking and making noise early in the morning disturbing our sleep! The owner lied about there being parking included, Unacceptable. We left after the first night because it was nothing like was advertised.

The place is quiet as it is on a small side street, but only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Medina. They arranged a taxi for us to go to the airport - much appreciated.
Cons: It is hard to find downsides, but if I need to: this being a riad with a particular architecture, you can hear other guests opening and closing their doors, etc. This is how it is in most riads (traditional houses converted to accommodations).

Lo stile del Riad ti catapulta nel mondo arabo e personalmente a me piace molto, la colazione ci è stata servita in terrazza e le signore che lo gestiscono sono molto gentili. La struttura si trova nella medina ma una delle porte è vicina per cui abbiamo potuto lasciare la macchina in un parcheggio privato (a pagamento) e arrivare a piedi.
Cons: La stanza un po' piccola e buia ma per essere un Riad ci sta!

Very beautiful road in Rabat - was perfect for our group and the owners running this were very sweet and accommodating! Went above and beyond to coordinate with us and allowed us to leave our luggage with them while we explored the city even after we checked out. The breakfast was also very delicious and filling

L’emplacement de ce Riad est idéal, au centre de la Medina, près du bord de mer, ainsi que les autres quartiers de Rabat. Tout est facilement accessible à pied. Le personnel est particulièrement accueillant et serviable, le Riad et les chambres sont confortables et très beaux, on se sent rapidement chez nous tout en se sentant au Maroc. Je le recommande vivement. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse était le plus de notre séjour, copieux et succulent avec une magnifique vue sur les toits de la Medina.

Very charming, well maintained and authentic riad! Very well situated in the medina. Very clean. Friendly and welcoming staff! Small but nice roof terrace.
Cons: Breakfast was ok. We would have appreciated some fruits. The traditional house is a bit dark.

Das hotel liegt in der Medina. Wunderschöne marokkanische Dekoration. Sehr nettes Personal. Die Dachterrasse ist einmalig am abend. Die Zimmer sind marokkanisch eingerichtet.
Cons: Zum Frühstück gab es immer das gleiche. Alles sehr süß. Die Tür zum Badezimmer lässt sich nicht richtig schließen und quietscht.

Das Bett war sehr bequem und komfortabel. Zudem sind die Verzierungen an den Wänden schön und stilvoll. Das Frühstück war super! Auch das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Very lovely place nicely decorated and furnished. The host Lubna was very thoughtful and welcoming, she made us feel like at home. Breakfast was very tasty. This is a place where you want to come back.
