The staff was ok.
Cons: This is an old building that has clearly suffered from neglect and inadequate maintenance, with musty odor. The breakfast offered was mediocre, lacking essential items such as yogurt and fresh fruit, which disappointed us given the rate of the place. My wife even saw a small mouse scurry across the main hall, raising concerns about cleanliness and pest control. We stayed for four days, primarily because we went out early each morning and only returned to sleep, making the experience less impactful. To be honest, I do not understand how some people can give a perfect 10 rating to this place, despite its evident flaws.

Dit is de mooiste Riad in Marokko waar ik ooit mocht slapen. De eigenaar is een zeer innemend man die vroeger kolonel was in de MArokkaanse landmacht. De riad is een toonbeeld van Marokkaanse geschiedenis en schoonheid. De details, de moluren, de ingelegde stenen, de vloer, de badkamers, de bedden... alles is van hoogstaande kwaliteit en op en top onderhouden. Mooier dan dit geraakt het niet.

Sublime Riad majestueux, beau décor authentique, très bien situé au calme. Très belle accueil du Colonel chaleureux . On sent une belle humanité. On a bien sympathisé avec notre chauffeur, guide et masseuse. Très belle rencontre. On a qu'une envie, c'est d'y rester ou d'y revenir. Un séjour mémorable. Je recommande.
Cons: Un peu loin de la ville mais des bus ou chauffeur à votre service.

Cons: Niet hygiënisch, geen frisse lakens. Handdoeken met vlekken. Mandje fruit met beschimmeld fruit gekregen. Koelkastje op de kamer extreem vies en niet goed werkend. Lekkende airco boven het bed. Interieur kapot of vol. Badkamer geen zak in prullenbak en rook muf. Geen persooneel te vinden bij ontbijt, zelf opzoek gaan. Geen info over tijden ontbijt of wifi of andere faciliteiten. Kakkerlak op de kamer (kan gebeuren maar wel vies)

Nous avons séjourné dans ce riad et avons beaucoup apprécié la beauté des lieux, le décor est vraiment charmant et le personnel sur place est sympathique, disponible et accueillant.
Cons: En revanche, notre expérience a été ternie par l’attitude du propriétaire, que nous avons trouvée désagréable et peu honnête dans ses pratiques. De plus, le petit déjeuner était loin de nos attentes au vu du prix de la nuitée et des photos affichées sur l’annonce.

The advantages of Alhambra are the good size garden, large swimming pool and the relative proximity of a great beach. The staff were kind and helpful.
Cons: There are several things that could use improvement - a four star rated place doesn’t have lots of noisy extraneous visitors using the pool and disturbing guests into the evening; breakfasts need to offer fresh fruit, yogurt and more variety. The description on booking dot com is inaccurate in several respects - all rooms do not have balconies; distance from the beach is given both as 550 and as 400 metres - the longer distance is closer to accurate; the site gives no information about travel to and from Rabat centre - ville nouvelle and Medina which are a long distance away (an hour by bus) and one is made to believe it is relatively close to the centre (website states 4.3 km from centre, but that is certainly not Rabat centre); and there is no spa or fitness centre that I could see. The establishment does serve dinner and it was very good, but it’s a fixed menu and very high price (whereas its advertised as a restaurant), no options offered.

This is a local hotel at a quiet location and with friendly staff. It is beafifully decorated and makes you feel like you are at someone else home. It has a nice garden with a pool. The owner is a jovial gentleman that is always ready to help. He twice arranged a transport for us and made sure that we would not be overcharged :). Thank you Sir for making our stay a very pleasant memory.

The employees, very sweet, and their cooking is good.
Cons: The place is a nightmare. Not because the decoration is loud, tasteless, and smothering, but because the owner is really loud, really tasteless and totally smothering. It is the first time in 6 trips to Morocco that I felt really uncomfortable with a man: invasive, indiscreet, VERY loud.The bedroom was sombre and smelly, there was absolutely no hot water, the location is bad and the price of the meal, for Morocco was outrageous. Be ready to part with your cash, he refuses cards even though he has the machine. Rubbish place to stay.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice pool area to relax . The decor was in typical Moroccan style with some lovely features. The host was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Our stay was spoilt by the fact you had to ask for hot water at a specific time. . Breakfast needed more variety the same every day for a week The grass around the pool area could do with some cleaning. . In hindsight 9 nights was too much as we thought it was a hotel .

The property has a beautiful decoration! Art is present in every corner of the hotel, the walls, ceilings, halls are strategically decorated. It feels luxurious yet very traditional. I also liked that the owner is present every day to make sure guests are comfortable.
Cons: I didn’t like that the hotel fee does not cover the spa “hamman” service , it is listed in the description as spa included, basically just the pool is included. Not very good given the night rate.

My stay there was one of my most memorable moments in Rabat.The host and the staff,were so welcoming, they made us feel as if we were family. I will always stay there whenever I go back to Rabat. I loved everything about this place. I really suggest everyone to stay there, try the hamam, I really have no words to describe the experience.

This is a great authentic Moroccan experience. If you want to experience life in a beautiful, quiet and serene Riad go here! The Riad is beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style and the rooms are beautiful as well with nice balconies overlooking the garden and the pool. If you want to stay in a luxury/expensive and modern five star hotel that looks like most other hotels.. do not go here; but if you want to get a bit more of a true local feeling for a good price, this is definitely worth your visit! The Riad is located in a safe local neighbourhood and it is very central (by car) to all restaurants etc around Harhoura. The staff is very friendly and helpful though they speak mostly local Arabic and you might have to communicate a bit more with hands and feet (you will manage and it is part of the experience :-). The owner is a very very charming man who speaks excellent French and some English; he will welcome you warmly and will help you out with any request (do not hesitate to ask if you need anything). We had great conversations with him around the pool at night, a truly wonderful host. If you visit Morocco/Rabat you should at least try this for a day to get a more authentic experience!

very nice house, decorated with loads of details, the pool, we had a car so no problem finding it.
Cons: First we was asked to pay, even though it was paid in advance, i showed the proof I had on my phone, but wasn’t enough, so after checking on the booking com website, the owner realized that it was paid. As the AC in booked room didn’t work, we got different room ( I felt like i am really asking a lot) , we didn’t use the AC at the end as there was a bad smell coming out of it. There was a baby cat crying a lot as thirsty, trying to drink from swimming pool, in the morning i made them to give some milk ( i asked water) to the poor kitten, it was not easy because of the language barrier. Compared to other accommodations in Marocco, it is to pricey. I hope they will do some improvements.

The Riad is not the easiest place to find if you are self driving as it is on the outskirts of the town. Local restaurants are a short drive away, don't walk. The owner was very friendly, and chatty. The Riad was a little collectors shop of memorabilia which made it very interesting to look around. My room was very nice and comfortable, although a bit cluttered with furniture. The food was nice but dinner was very expensive for what you received. There was no menu or mention of the price until I settled the bill. It would be better to eat out at a local restaurant a short drive away for a 3rd of the price. I

the owner was very friendly and his hospitality was warm. the rooms needed to be air out often. toiletries were missing but when we asked they provided them.
