This is a very comfortable small boutique hotel. The rooms are a good size with an excellent bathroom. The bed is comfortable and the room very quiet. The terrace is an excellent choice for informal dining.

Cons: We thought breakfast was included with the room, and for the cost of the room breakfast at $50.00aus per person was expensive particularly given the limited range for breakfast.

This hotel was exceptional. Perfectly located and well appointed. The staff were exceptional both at reception and in the restaurant. We arrived after 29 hours of travelling and everyone was so helpful. We had a Hannam and it was sensational the best we had in Morocco. The woman was amazing and can't recall her name. Restaurant food was also exceptional. My husbands beef fillet was one of the best he's ever had and he us a huge meat eater.

Cons: If it had a pool would've been a 10/10

What an amazing place to stay. Beautifully designed and considered hotel, with the most amazing and accomodating staff. Service was exception. We were so happy with the choice to stay at Le Doge after seeing the photos online. Definitely lives up to expectation. The food was phenomenal as well. Location is also perfect - you're walking distance / $2 cab away from most places. If you're in Casablanca make sure this is your place to stay.

Cons: Nothing.

Very comfortable bed and bedding, lovely little patio/deck and cozy chair - a "home away from home" experience. The bathroom and toiletries were top notch. The staff were professional and very helpful.

Cons: Although tasty, the portion size of the tapas on the restaurant menu were much larger than we anticipated. A man at the table next to us was smoking a cigar - which caused us to cut our evening short.

Once you find the entrance to the hotel on a small back street, the property opens up to a beautiful stairway. The staff could not be nicer and more accommodating, welcoming guests and seeing to it that all is well. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed and all have the name of a famous person. We liked the breakfast. You can choose between an all inclusive buffet or a smaller breakfast. Service in the breakfast room is attentive and very nice.

We had stayed at Le Doge for only one night this November, and that was a very pleasant experience. The location and the style of the hotel were absolutely perfect. We loved all authentic art-deco details in decoration - starting from the gorgeous stairs - to keys with tassel instead of boring plastic cards. The rooms had no numbers - each of them was called after some famous person of art-deco period. Ours was named Man Ray, which was such a nice co-incidence, since I was a photography lover. The service exceeded all our expectations. All the employees of the hotel (at the reception, in the restaurant) were so nice and helpful! We highly appreciated their advice and support with transfers, restaurants booking, etc. The restaurant on the 5th floor was also beautifully decorated, the food was perfectly served and absolutely delicious (I guess that was the most tasty food we had in Casablanca).

Cons: The only unpleasant moment of the stay was the lack of hot water in the morning in the room (it was about a room temperature), but we hope that was an accident.

The hotel is a real gem in the heart of the art deco district and close some key attractions. Beautifully presented from the moment you enter reception (with it grand staircase) to the wonderful rooms and rooftop cafe/restaurant. Our particular room (Lartigue) was very large with comfortable seating area and fabulous bathroom. Quiet juliet balconies overlooked the quiet street below. The bed was extremely comfortable. We ate 2 nights at the rooftop restaurant. The food (and excellent Moroccan wines) was exceptional both nights. Finally, I can't thank the staff enough from front of house to chefs and waiters, they couldn't do enough for us. We would love to visit again...

Le Doge is a very special hotel and our stay was incredible. We stayed in the top suite for 8 nights to celebrate a special occasion. The hotel exudes the charm and romance of 1930s Casablanca. Each of the 16 rooms is different and represents a famous person from the era. Not only did staff provide a 5 star service but they also treated us with warmth, enthusiasm and kindness. We highly recommend the spa treatments, a meal in the Le Jasmine restaurant and Ahmed’s Casablanca Art Deco walking tour.

Cons: The Jean Cocteau suite is exceptional. It has an outside patio which is large and clean but it needs more furnishings to bring it up to the same level as the interior.

Beautiful restored, Art Deco town home. Very intimate feel. Wonderful helpful staff. Luxurious black and white marble bathroom with old fashioned footed tub with shower curtain. Heated, luxurious towels..huge containers of wonderful shampoo, body gel, body cream. Totally lovely and stylish boutique hotel that provided a touch of luxury just when we need it. Comfortable room and excellent bed, terrific roof top bar and restaurant. The standout quality of the hotel is however in its staff - from the very charming and helpful doorman on arrival, the reception staff (who provided all the information we needed for a visit to the mosque on a short trip), through to the restaurant team (who kindly accommodated a late cancellation of a dinner for one of us when I felt unwell - an ongoing issue and nothing to do with the restaurant!) i cannot give high enough praise to the staff team. Thankyou. (Next time i will book to stay in the Man Ray room!)

Great place to stay in Casablanca - located in the city centre and at the same time having all attributes and class of Relais&Chateaux network. Rooms, staff, food, rooftop bar were beyond expectations.

Cons: Some of rooms overlook a tiny inner yard, so your window is right in front of a wall - we were fine with that but those, who love a view, should take an upgraded room overlooking the street.

Hospitality is excellent and food outstanding. Location was quiet and hidden away. Room was clean with many special touches. All staff was friendly and helpful to look out for rides and protect from taxi ripping off passengers. We met the owner Kamil who engaged in great conversation. We felt very comfortable and welcome.

Cons: Bathtub was too high and hard to use. Our TV did not work almost the entire time. Dust was a bit on carpet from construction near elevator. Espresso machine was hard to use. I think basic breakfast should be included. Front desk should give better information on restaurants and market place and sight seeing attractions.

The property is well located, great roof top bar and lovely restaurant staff

Cons: Our communication with the property was excellent until just before our stay where there was no response on multiple communications regarding booking a driver to collect our young daughter from the Casablanca airport. This resulted in the staff booking a driver on the day and there being some risk that it may not be possible and of course some distress for us. In the end a driver was organised at more $ than quoted.

Fantastic quirky hotel. Rooms are all themed and stunning. We stayed here one night before flying home and loved it. Worth a walk around the local area. This is the nice part of Casablanca and feels safe. The roof top bar and restaurant is amazing although a little pricy. The tapas was lovely and I could get a nice cold draft beer. The staircase is worth a visit on its own.

Cons: Bar and restaurant is expensive.

Rooftop terrace, tapas menu is extremely good with large portions, staff are very attentive, exceptionally clean. Room is very nice with excellent bathroom facilities. Shower is fantastic, bathroom products are luxurious, air con is exceptional and extremely necessary.

Cons: Hotel is very welcoming and staff are diligent. A pool would have been a bonus in this beautiful hotel in the centre of Casablanca. Had I of read the facilities more carefully a swimming pool would have been desirable. But coming from Ireland that's a personal preference.

We felt surrounded in beauty. The quality of materials and the selections of eye catching elements made us feel like we were experiencing a truly special place. Particularly the ppl who we engaged with made us feel looked after like a good friend would. Oussama at reception recommended an EXCELLENT restaurant Dar Dada and managed our welcome. Adil was a gentle superhero negotiating our taxi fare with integrity. Mohamed (chef reception) and ihssane at reception our second day could not have been more accommodating and helpful with tips for our visits to selected spots in Casablanca. We have always had excellent stays in relais chateaux properties and this one was a top experience.

Cons: Maybe the aromatic perfumes were a done a little much.

Quiet location

Cons: For the price charged it failed to deliver a 5*, luxury experience. We had a junior suite and it had no luxury features as well as being a little dated. The minibar consisted of a single bottle of water and two cokes, anything more was charged for and the rate did not include breakfast. The staff were fine, but we had a maid walk into our room without knocking and on checkin we were incorrectly informed that minibar refills are free.

Although our stay was short, the staff were very accommodating and went above and beyond. The rooms are unique and gorgeous. Very spacious and luxurious. If you like vintage and old Hollywood vibes, you will love here, we stayed in a Chaplin room. But, each room is unique and recognizes a different celebrity. I would definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait to visit again.

We loved Le Doge. The staff and the owner were so helpful, and the decor of the hotel was charming. We were not able to eat in their Moroccan style restaurant because of Ramadan, but the owner arranged for us to have the traditional Moroccan meal on the rooftop restaurant. It was delicious. They served everything imaginable for breakfast and it was delicious as well. They even helped us find transportation for sightseeing and then getting to the airport. I would highly recommend staying here. It was a peaceful haven in a big city.

Excellent room- Colette on 3rd floor. Visually attractive, large room with lovely bathroom. Nice balconies. Large, comfy bed. Rooftop restaurant was very good.

We were placed into the Chopin suite. The large bathroom with its two sinks was a nice feature. The room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable.. Breakfast up on the patio was ample and tasty, albeit at €20 per person on the expensive side.

Cons: Wifi service was hit and miss in our room, so we had to depend on reception in the common areas to get good wifi strength. The lighting could have been better in the room. The sliding door out to the patio did not lock shut. The patio table was left uncleaned and the patio area unkempt , so it kind of turned us off from ever using the patio. Our overall impression of the hotel would have been better had it been in a nicer neighborhood with restaurants and shops. The closest such venues were approximately two blocks away. We would probably seek out different lodging were we to return to Casablanca.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and spa with lovely rooms, thoughtful design, and extremely comfortable beds. As a remote worker, I really appreciated the in-room desk as well as the table on the balcony where I spent quite a few hours getting some work done. My mum visited the hammam, and loved it - also, the breakfast on the rooftop and dinner downstairs were both exceptional. The bathroom was beautiful and very large, and the deep bathtub was a great touch.

really good location, tucked one street back making it really quiet. the scent as soon as you walk in is stunning. the staff uniforms and professionalism - it stands out straight away. the Jasmine restaurant was fully booked when we stayed so I recommend booking in advance, but we had small plates on the terrace instead and it was delicious. I would give a shout out to Amene our waiter who was very polished and so friendly.

Cons: breakfast was 360MAD for two - whilst it’s circa £14 each, I’m not sure I’d say it was worth it. this is the only aspect I don’t think was value for money. the taxes ended up meaning we paid around £80 more than the price quoted on booking.com for two nights. also if I were picky, I’d recommend the hotel get English channels or some way to stream.

This is a fun hotel that offers opulent, colorful, luxurious public spaces, warm, friendly service, and quirky, colorful room decor. Plus the best hammam experience I found in Morocco.

Cons: I didn't know how to use the remote control for the lighting until I asked the desk. Once they explained it to me, it was fine. Some might find the decor in some of the rooms over the top, but I found it fun and colorful. I enjoyed the free standing bathtub in the large and luxurious bathroom (black and white marble everywhere), but some might have difficulty climbing in.

This is a high end boutique hotel colonial style. There are all different rooms. Some have a balcony w seats, most dont. There is also a large difference between standaard and exec rooms. Although standaard is already high end, they go above and beyond on the execs. The service was excellent. Same for rooftop restaurant and breakfast. The hammam is also to mention and is the whole bottom level. Reservation needed. To note: in the back there is construction and might be noisy during the day; earplugs are provider. We did not experience construction noise both nights we stayed.

This is an exceptional property in a sea of commercial mainstream hotels in Casablanca, still one of the sexiest cities of North Africa and Morocco. I cannot recommend an excellent dinner in the terrace restaurant as well as a walk in the neighborhood. The reception staff could not have been nicer and the dining staff were superb! Located in the heart of the city, you can walk most anywhere (or not!) and just enjoy the unique details of this historical building. Can't wait to make this my one and only go-to hotel in Casablanca!

As it was an extended layover on the way home from vacation, we really didn't expect much. When we arrived, we found that the hotel was beautiful and the staff very welcoming. While checking in we asked about a possible massage and/or hammam appointment. We ended up with the hammam for two and it was amazing! Our room was beautiful. We had dinner in the Moroccan restaurant and it might have been one of the best meals of the trip.

Cons: About the only thing I could complain about would be the shower in the bathroom. The way it's configured I ended up with a huge pool of water running across the floor of the bathroom and I don't tend to be a sloppy person in the shower.

it must once have been extremely comfortable, with expensive fixtures and fittings.

Cons: Their principle interest is the rooftop restaurant, but unless you book in advance they won’t release an individual table for single diners and you will have to share at the “club” table. The rooms are freshly painted but the bed sagged, the sheets were damp and there was no hot water in the morning (for which I did receive an apology after I had left). They can’t help having a very noisy building site next door, but it didn’t improve my stay. Relais et Chateaux are clearly not as discriminating as they once were.
