We love our spacious room, they upgraded us upon arrival as our windows was to the inside of the Riad and my husband was struggling with it. Nice breakfast and staff were helpful specially Rabab whom was very kind and gave us tips to the city.
Cons: Returning to the property late at night was awkward, it would better if we had the key to the main entrance.

Highly recommend this riad, especially for Mrs Rabab, who knows how to take care of her guests and speaks very good English and French, and has a European-oriented attitude. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. Mattress was super comfortable and sheets were immaculate. The position is very good (not down deep in the maze of the medina, but just close to where a taxi can drop you). Beautiful garden, very good breakfast, nice dinner. Don’t miss this place during your stay!

We loved our stay at Jardin Chrifa. The riad was beautiful, location was great and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. While planning our trip to Morocco my wife and I watched a YouTube video with Mark Wiens who stayed and ate with them in Fez. During booking we asked if maybe we could reserve a much smaller version of the same beautiful 8-10 person platter he and his crew ate. It's called "rfissa", and we didn't see it on very many menus during our two weeks in Morocco. It's a real work of art and truly one of the most beautiful and delicious plates of food we've ever experienced. Just wow. Apparently it's not something they typically make every day, but my wife and I were so appreciative of their doing this for us, and of their hospitality during our stay. Thanks!

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable! The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated with authentic touches, and had a great atmosphere. The location was perfect—easily accessible by car and just a short distance from the medina, which made exploring the area very convenient. We were also happy to find that it was pet-friendly, which is a big plus for us. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be coming back!

The location was great for walking around. The people working there are very kind and helpful! The dinner was so yummy.
Cons: The breakfast the last day was great with boiled eggs. But the other days it was a lot of bread. If the boiled eggs were avaliable each day it would have been super perfect. The bread and butter and jam were all yummy though. Recommend you to bring ear plugs and a sleeping mask if you're a light sleeper. They both helped me with the little noises of the house.

We joined their lovely staff for a cooking class of traditional moroccan cuisine! The experience started with a trip in the souks learning more about the fresh produce and meat markets. After gathering our materials they taught us the recipes and techniques for 2 traditional tajines, a cooked salad, fruit desert, and the classic mint tea. The staff was extremely kind, informative, and pleasurable to spend the evening with! The garden we got to eat our masterpiece in was romantic and beautiful. We’d gladly stay with them in the future!

I felt at home from the first greeting at the door. Spacious, well-appointed bedroom with luxurious decor in the style of Fes. Comfortable bed, hot shower and plenty of towels. I enjoyed a cup of mint tea in the beautiful garden under the orange tree upon arrival, a refuge from the cold wind blowing that day. (Effective heating unit in the room helped with the chill too) I enjoyed breakfast and dinner here. Breakfast was simple and carb heavy, two kinds of traditional pancake, two types of bread, coffee, butter, honey, jam, olives, cheese, olive oil and orange juice. Prepared at the time requested. Dinner featured choice between four different pre-set three-course meals. I chose one that featured a type of beef egg roll with delicious harissa, pastilla and fresh orange with cinnamon for dessert. Ibrahim was both chef and server and took great care of me. I really enjoyed chatting with the friendly staff including Rabat, Ibrahim and the proprietor, Majid.

The Riad Jardin Chrifa was the best stay I had in the whole of Morocco. The staff there are excellent, extremely friendly, and able to help out in every situation. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there, in large part because of how comfortable they made it.
Cons: I had the room on the bottom floor. It was nice, but I couldn't open my window because it opens to the restaurant, so diners would be able to see me, or inside my room when I'm not present. I also shared a wall with the kitchen, which meant I was awoken as soon as they started blending fresh juice for the morning.

The courtyard is so beautiful. As soon as I arrived, they served me hot Moroccan tea, and it’s just the most relaxing thing you can have after all the walking in the Medina. Also, the room has a private bathroom and shower. The location is excellent, it’s just 5 minute's walk to the busy area, and the staff there are amicable and helpful. And the dinner and breakfast is good!

We had the pleasure to eat at this place convinced by our riad’s receptionist.. the place is really nice( there are 2 turtles in the garden) and a nice fountain. So place really nice! The menu was fixed, there are different types but there is the possibility to make changes ( and mix it). Food delicious and trust me, you might have be really hungry. Generous portion & delicious! The host was really kind and pleasant!

This was a pretty terrible hotel. When my wife and I first arrived we were greeted by the staff of Riad Tahra & Spa. They said that the room we booked at Jardin Chrifa was being worked on so we had to go with them to their hotel. I highly recommend this hotel (Riad Tahra). They got us in there, served us mint tea, knocked out the paperwork for staying at the hotel, gave us directions, and offered other services. The room at Riad Tahra was big and had a nice bath. Only drawback is the bed was quite hard. The next day we transferred to Jardin Chrifa. I'll start with the redeeming qualities. Friendly hotel staff, good free breakfast, nice bed, that's really it. The drawbacks: toilet was not bolted to the floor (nearly fell over several times), water was room temperature and never got hot, very noisy (like until 3 in the morning), there was no wifi, (it was present on the first floor only right next to the reception desk). The internet issue became a problem when we were attempting to find other things to do in the area outside of the old town. The hotel did not book us properly thinking that we were departing a day prior to our time arranged through expedia. This wasn't a problem really as they cleared it up pretty quick but would have been if they had been fully booked. Lastly, I booked a taxi through the hotel to take me to the airport on the day I was to depart. It was quite early, 5 am, and I get outside at 4:45, wait for 15 minutes, and still no taxi.

The owner picked us up from the main road but insisted we paid for the porter services. Wanted to charge MAD 150 for taxi services to train station, but eventually we managed to get it on our own for MAD 70 from a registered transport company. Room was dirty and smelled musky. Bathroom has no shower curtain and smelled bad as well. No receipt was issued after checked out inspite of asking for it. Staff Mohammad was not able to return our change after making payment, leaving us with no choice but to leave the change behind.

My small family enjoyed our stay at Riad chrifa. It was quiet anf close to many old medina attractions. Mohammed was really helpful and a nice guy. Also, we needed to prepare food for our one-year son and the kitchen was available to us at any time. I highly recommend staying at this Riad.

I am a solo female traveler and loved this Riad. The taxi ride from the train station to the hotel was fairly straight forward. The hotel is located just a few blocks from a main intersection and only a few more blocks from the Blue Gate into the Medina. A bit of noise from the school kids outside their school a block away could be heard from the room. The receptionists were nice and helped me set up a private Medina tour and let me lounge in the common room between check-out and my overnight bus.

Got to the hotel late (around 11pm) and was greeted by a friendly fellow who did not speak English very well. Was guided up a dark staircase to our room on the third floor. Room smelled like mold probably due to poor ventilation in the washroom. Washroom did not have a shower curtain, thus things got wet. Spoke to a lady the next morning regarding the smell of mold. She wasn't very friendly but managed to mask the smell by spraying some air freshener/perfume. Would not recommend this riad to travellers.

great location however don't count on the staff for any meaningful help. asked the front desk man where a major landmark was (Batha Palace) and he had no idea.it turned out to be 3 blocks away??? the other lady that works the front desk promised twice to provide a railway timetable however it never showed up, eventually after asking a third time the other front desk person provided the schedule. better late than never!! i room a bit noisy in the morning but that was understandable as there was a school almost next door. the room is very basic, no tv however i would recommend this Riad as the location being very close to the medina is very good.,

When we arrived we were greated with cakes (which is always a good start) Our room was upgraded, though this may have been as it was out of season. The room was large and nicely decorated. The breakfasts were freshly cooked and excellent quality. Well recommended. The Riad booked us a guide for the day as we were only in Fes for two nights. I thought he was excellent and un biased towards the places he showed us. They even sorted out our train times for our next stopover.

The staff was incredibly accommodating. We arrived late, after everything was closed, and they had some friends reopen their restaurant just for us. The bed was a bit hard, but the room was clean. The beakfast service was pretty good. The location is not bad, about a five minute walk from Bab Boujeloud and the souqs. I'd recommend it for a clean, comfortable budget stay.
