Exquisite traditional decor and serene ambience. Extremely clean, well maintained, and organized. Very beautiful and comfortable room with many amenities. Amazing breakfast. Perfect location near the Medina so you can enjoy the old city and market. Also, easy to get a taxi nearby. Strong WiFi. Especially, run by wonderful people, warm, welcoming, friendly and make you feel at home! Shukran!! I hope to visit Fes again someday, and if I do, I will stay here again.
Cons: There was nothing that I didn’t like. Everything exceeded my expectations.

Location is super, just steps away from the blue gate. A big parking lot outside the Riad makes easy for pickup. This is a big tranditional Riad with beautiful deceration. The room is spacious and confortable. Staffs are so nice and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. The view at the roof top terrace is fabulous to oversee the old Madina.

Given how much I have traveled, I've never met kinder hotel staff who truly made you feel like family. From the warm greeting and getting picked up after the drop-off, to even heating up some leftover food for me (I was too sick the night before to eat), to making sure my laundry got done, and packing a to-go breakfast. It made being on the road for so long that much easier. Also, not to mention the incredible breakfasts! The riad itself was beautiful and in a great location. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the medina, but in close walking distance (just across the parking lot).
Cons: There was not a lot of sound insulation in my room and you could hear the guests below during meal time. However, this is a very minor detail. The hospitality and service shown by the hotel staff overshadowed any small inconveniences experienced.

The riad is beautiful and very close to the medina. You have a great view from the balcony, and dinner was amazing. Also, the staff was really nice and very helpful in arranging excursions outside of the city.
Cons: Honestly it was all really nice. I don't have complaints.

The place is comfy, beautiful but what I liked the most was how welcoming the staff was. We arrived late at night and we still got welcomed with the best smiles and bottled water. When we were waiting for our taxi, the staff offered tea and even a taste of couscous because our flight was so late. Also, just cross the nearby parking lot and you're in the most lively uphill street of Fez. I would 100% go back again to this ryad.
Cons: Everything exceeded my expectations. I was concerned about general comments about ryads in Fez having smells in bathrooms or being a bit tired, but it wasn't the case at all in Riad Ahlam.

I loved absolutely everything about the Riyad, I came in low season and they upgraded me to the beautiful gigantic Alysse room, best shower pressure, amazing breakfast and I really felt like family by all the staff especially Kadiha, who is a ray of sunshine, singing and laughing. The location is also really good. They made me a breakfast to go for my very early flight. Can’t recommend enough, thank you to the whole team.

From the moment we stepped into the stunning confines of Riad Ahlam, we were transported into a world reminiscent of the enchanting tales of 1001 Nights. It was a bewitching escape from the bustling streets of Fez, providing an oasis of tranquility and luxury. Every detail in this Riad has been thoughtfully curated, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Morocco. The room we stayed in was exquisitely decorated, with beautiful intricate details that contributed to the overall charm and mystique. The room was always spotless thanks to the diligent cleaning staff who worked hard every day to maintain its pristine condition. The staff at Riad Ahlam left a deep and lasting impression on us. They were consistently professional, demonstrating a commitment to exemplary service that made us feel truly valued. Their friendliness and warmth added a personal touch, making us feel as if we were coming home each time we returned to the Riad. From the warm greeting we received at reception to the heartfelt goodbyes upon our departure, every interaction we had with the staff contributed to an experience that was nothing short of exceptional. The culinary offerings at Riad Ahlam deserve special mention. The food was absolutely delightful, serving a variety of traditional Moroccan dishes prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Each meal was an adventure for our taste buds, offering a unique blend of flavors that were as colorful and vibrant as the city of Fez itself. The true magic of Riad Ahlam lies in its ability to merge the traditional with the modern, creating an atmosphere that is as comfortable as it is captivating. It is a unique place where the charm of the old world meets the comfort of the new, and it's this unique blend that sets Riad Ahlam apart from any other accommodation. Riad Ahlam is an unforgettable experience ....

I only have good things to say about Kasim and his staff at the riad. Always helpful, well mannered and catered to all my needs during my stay in Fez. The breakfast served here is absolutely delicious and on one of the nights they served Bastilla for dinner which was unreal! The courtyard is stunning and I often came down there and relaxed after those long days exploring Fez. Highly recommend this place!

The staff went above and beyond in helping us on several occasions, whether it was making phone calls on our behalf, or providing the directions when we need to return our rental car, or serving an early breakfast due to our early check-out for the desert trip. It was such a pleasure to stay at this hotel and get to meet its staff. Highly recommended.

Honestly, there are only positives I can say about Riad Ahlam! A beautiful place with the most hospitable staff ever. As a female solo traveler, I really value a place that makes me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I knew I would be arriving late at night so I asked Kacem to arrange an airport pickup. Everything went as planned. Kacem will do anything to make his guests feel happy and very relaxed. Also, the breakfasts were extremely filling with the staff constantly bringing out more plates so keep that in mind! Definitely try everything they bring out. If I visit Fes again (hopefully soon), there's no doubt that I would stay here again. 10/10.

Beautiful hotel, best services ever! Best breakfast and Moroccan food have ever tasted in my entire trip. Do not go any other restaurants, order directly from this hotel! The chef in this hotel is superb! Stayed at Marrakech riad as well, nothing can compare with Fes. Had to leave with the first flight in the morning, this Riad prepared me fresh coffee and breakfast at 2:30 in the middle of the night. Driver was there drove me to the airport. the location of this riad is also great, super easy to find. Will recommend this place to any of my friends!

Beautiful big room, wonderful service and the best dinners during our entire Morocco trip. This Riad is traditional in style, beautifully decorated and served by very dedicated staff. The chef (Fatiha), in particular, prepared the best food we had in Morocco and the way she presented our breakfasts and dinners was just delightful. This Riad is located about 100M outside the Medina, near Gate 14, which was great because our driver could drop us off within 2 minutes of the Riad, yet it was also easy to disappear into the Medina just a few minutes away.

Our stay was the highlight of our trip in Morocco. We visited Marrakech, Casablanca, and Fes and this was hands down our best stay during the trip. The manager was excellent and the staff was wonderful. They made sure that everything was taken cared of and they did their best to make sure our stay was wonderful. The room is clean and the shower always had hot water which helps a lot because it was cold season. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the middle of the Medina of Fez where you have all the small stores and restaurants around. The manager was very nice to let us rest in the hotel lobby while waiting for our next train. Highly recommended!

Riad Ahlam is an excellent choice for a stay in Fes. It is just within the walls of the medina, making it accessible by taxi, when many others are not. The interior is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The best thing about this place is the service. They treat you very well, the food is fantastic, and they are willing to help you any way possible. I give it my highest recommendation.

We just loved the place. Not knowing what to expect when booking from so far away and arriving to a very warm welcome and the beauty of its courtyard was awesome. Our room was huge, bed was comfy, great shower and bathroom, all nice and relaxing. The breakfasts were delish and set us up well for our day of exploration. We did eat in one night and savoured their yummy chicken tagine. The proximity to the medina was great, a 5 minute walk, if that. All in all a fantastic experience. The staff were very friendly, lots of laughter 😄

If you are looking for a real cultural experience, this is the place. Service was over the top and food was excellent. This is a small Riad located in the heart of the famous market area. As you open their inconspicuous door in a door a small alleyway, you walk into a small, beautifully tiled palace.....a bit like Alice in Wonderland.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff couldn't do enough to welcome us and help us decide what to do in Fes. The room was beautiful and much larger and more comfortable than rooms of the same size in our Marrakesh riads. Go up to the roof to see the views and you will truly have your breath taken away.

We recently stayed at this riad for one night to tour Fes. The riad was beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful and our room very quaint and comfortable. The staff helped set us up with a tour of the area that was very reasonable. Unfortunately time was short or we would have stayed longer. It was difficult to find because it is located inside the medina, but once found it is very convenient to the sites.

The staff did a very good job, very friendly and attentive to needs.. Location very convenient, although the surrounding neighborhood of the medina is in need of some improvements, particularly the condition of the streets.. Hotel is not far from the main restaurant area around Bab Baljoud.. Design of the hotel was excellent, very classic with zellij and tadelakt.. Included breakfast was big, and included pancakes, eggs, bread, orange juice, coffee, fresh cut fruit.. Would have been happier if room rate could have been slightly lower, as well as the cost of airport transfer.. Morocco just doesn't provide good value for your money when comparing with places like Southeast Asia, or even East Asia.. However, not considering the cost, a very good experience overall.

The staff at this hotel, are put simply, the greatest I have ever encountered at any hotel in the world. That is not an exaggeration. They bend over backwards to make your stay (and your life while there) a wonderful thing. The Riad itself is beautiful, the roof is relaxing and wonderful! The hotel is hard to find and the surrounding neighborhood isnt wonderful- but its to be expected as its situated right in the Medina! Parking is also extremely close! The AC in our room wasnt working very well, but that was a VERY minor issue as compared to all the amazing qualities of the Riad. Again, many thanks to the amazing staff for making us feel at home, and making us feel relaxed & comfortable (even while being in the middle of a very hectic place!)

We had a wonderful experience here. The manager and staff were incredible and catered to our every whim. We were there in the low season so were upgraded to a suite for the price of a regular room. Stephano, the owner, was so available and extremely helpful for all his foreign guests. This makes visiting an exotic place like Marrakech so much easier, with lots of good, reliable local advice! Great value for nice rooms with ample lighting, plush towels, and delicious breakfast! Staying in a riad in the middle of the medina is the best way to truly experience the flavor of the mideval town, yet have a very nice, safe place of retreat and the end of a day filled with sensory overload. His staff were wonderfully warm and friendly, too. We had a magical visit and cannot wait to return, most definitely to Riad Alamir! And Stephano's attentive assistance to his guests is the number one reason!

We really liked staying here. The manager, Kasim, was a real help and was a great joker. The breakfasts were very good. The room was spacious and comfortable. The rooftop would have been a nice spot to sit and look over the city, but it was raining mush of our stay. Nice view' though. The suggestions for dinners and sights were spot on and not expensive. Go see the Roman Ruins of Velobilis, a day trip.

Riad Ahlam provides a wonderful Riad experience. The building and room decor is beautiful and the rooftop area provides a wonderful view over Fez. The service is friendly and fantastic. Breakfast is an ever changing combination of local breads and eggs. If you are coming to Fez by train you should be aware that this riad is in an ideal spot for exploring the main part of the medina but is actually on the opposite side of the medina to the train station and main town (which are 4-5 km's from the closest side of Medina). Because of this it is over half a kilometre walk through the markets to a taxi stand. If a taxi needs to be called it will be a tourist van and cost a great deal more than a regular taxi.

This is a great small hotel that is perfect for hiking in the Atlas Mountains. It has a great cook Hamid who makes very nice Moroccan dinners. I highly recommend eating at the hotel. It has simple but clean rooms and a very nice view of the mountains with a two patios overlooking the mountains. We had dinner out on the patio. Hamid was also very helpful with finding hikes and even getting us on the trail. If I were in Imlil again I would stay there.

A beautiful Riad with extremely friendly staff and great service. Breakfast was fantastic and huge. An amazing rooftop terrace. We arrived at about midnight and were a bit hungry so the staff whipped up a lovely meal for us which was very kind and at no charge! Manager was very helpful with recommendations and organising trips although these could be a little expensive compared to taking the trips finding your own transport and guides.etc. Organized an official guide for us for one day who was very knowledgable although towards the end it did become a little bit of a tour of craft shops for commission - if you get a tour then do be clear about what you want as prices will be lower without the guide! Altogether a lovely place with great people, would definitely recommend to others.
