⸻ We visited Hotel Mazagan as a group of four couples on a golf holiday and honestly had the best time. Everything from the rooms and staff to the food and golf course was spot on. Rooms & Views My wife and I booked a garden-view room, but it actually had a lovely view of both the sea and the lake. It was peaceful and quiet, and we think it was even nicer than the poolside rooms because it caught the morning sun. Staff & Service The staff here are brilliant – really friendly and always keen to help. A special shout-out has to go to Chef Hasna in the golf club bar. She made the best club sandwich any of us have ever had – so good that we asked her to come out for a photo with us! Even if you’re not playing golf, it’s worth popping into the golf club at lunchtime just for that sandwich. The concierge team were also excellent, helping us sort out some missing golf clubs that didn’t make our flight and organising our airport transfers. Drivers were great too – smooth, safe journeys and even Wi-Fi in the cars. Housekeeping was top-notch – rooms were checked twice a day, towels and sheets changed daily, and everything was kept spotless. You can tell the staff genuinely care about guests having a good experience. Food & Drinks We were on an all-inclusive golf package organised by Golf Kings and the food and drink were fantastic. The buffet had loads of choice, and we also tried: • Sal de Mer (seafood restaurant) • Beachside BBQ • The French Cave – the confit duck was huge and delicious! Cocktails were great, and the drinks included well-known spirits too. Service was excellent everywhere, and the poolside staff were super friendly. Golf & Facilities We played a lot of golf and loved the course – it was in great condition and fun to play every day. A buggy is a good idea as there are a few long walks between holes. If your ball goes into the rough (lots of succulents!), it’s tricky to find – and we did spot a snake in there, so watch your step! The golf reception team and buggy staff were always helpful. One morning, a friend in our group missed breakfast and ordered a sandwich (the famous Hasna club sandwich, of course!). The team actually drove it out to her mid-round so she didn’t go hungry – such a thoughtful touch! A Couple of Small Suggestions • A few more rakes in the big bunkers would be handy as not everyone rakes properly. • Some extra outdoor seating at the golf bar would make the most of the amazing views. Things to Be Aware Of Smoking is allowed in some bars and restaurants, so we had to move a couple of times to get away from it. The casino was also pretty smoky – not a big deal for us as we’re not gamblers, but we couldn’t have stayed in there for too long. ⸻ Overall: We had a brilliant week (first week of October) and would definitely come back. The place is beautiful, the staff are lovely, and everything just felt really easy and relaxed. As a group of eight, we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday.

Our stay was exceptional! The hotel lobby and architecture is superb! The service was truly above par, with every detail thoughtfully handled. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, greeting us with warm smiles and genuine kindness at every turn. From check-in to departure, they were attentive, professional, and eager to help. Special shout out to our housekeepers Khadija and Malika, our waiters Amine and Karim at the breakfast buffet and our bellboy Yassine for going the extra mile to provide an excellent stay. Resort itself is fine, nice beach and lovely pools. It gets VERY busy on a weekend though, not sure if it's available for day use or just got packed. The bad: the lifeguards. Terrible experience. They yelled at my daughter (who was in shin-deep water) and kept blowing their whistles at her until she started to cry. She's 14, she's not a kid who cries. I complained and it was clear that no-one cared at all. Around the pool it's almost impossible to relax because of the CONSTANT whistles from the over-zealous lifeguards. There is a weird vibe here, very controlling and a lot of security who will scold you for being out after dark. Additionally the restaurant at the beach absolutely POUNDS bassy music. It's all you can hear when you go there, the same bad bassy songs on repeat - we could hear it very clearly in our rooms. We tried to eat at a restaurant which states clearly it's open until 7pm - we got there at 5.55pm and had to beg to get let in because they said the kitchen closes and it's only open for drinks. That's very much not what they said at check in or on their app, and the waiter then stood over the top of us telling us to hurry up with our order. An overall unpleasant stay.

This is a very large 4-5 star hotel with many facilities and activities but I travelled with my 22 year old daughter specifically for the golf. These facilities were fantastic - two putting greens, two large chipping greens with spectacular views of the sea. Practice bunkers and an unlimited supply of range balls brought to you with good humour by Abdelkader who looked after us very well. All the staff in the golf complex were brilliant, particularly Safa and Fatima in the George Bar after a round. Unfortunately that bar closed at 6pm so we couldn't go each day and nor could we eat there. I do feel that they could have had the restaurants open later and more often. Most nights you couldn't get a drink or anything to eat at the beach restaurants after 6pm which is a shame because they had great sunset views. The golf course fairways were exceptionally well maintained and most days we had the course to ourselves. Wide open fairways but if you went off into the rough....not easy to find your ball. Mbarki Hicham looked after us really well, making sure our buggy was ready and stocked with water and our clubs each day - and cleaning and storing them on our return. He was also helpful with local advice and really enhanced our golfing experience. For us, the golf was perfect (handicaps of 14) - single figure players may not want to play the same course all week but I believe there are a couple of other courses nearby for some variety. I must also mention Mohammed the concierge who went above and beyond to help us when Iberia lost our luggage. He organised our transport, liaised with the hotel and even the airport staff directly to try and help when they were being difficult. The food and service in all the restaurants was very good - the only problem, as mentioned already is that they seemed to rotate the restaurants so although there were quite a few, most of them were closed on many days so there wasn't a lot of choice. Make sure you check when you arrive what the opening hours/days are so you can organise to eat at the beach restaurant. The free shuttle service to/from the airport and local town was also appreciated. We didn't plan to spend a lot of time in our room so booked a garden view twin which was a reasonable size. The pool was large and always had sun loungers available. We will definitely return - mainly for the staff and the golf facilities.

This resort is absolutely beautiful. The room was so clean and the resort was breathtaking. The restaurants were top notch. The food and ambiance was great at each venue. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We really appreciated their help; and, their knowledge of the area and activities we would enjoy in El Jadida and the resort was exceptional! This was the only place we stayed at to where it was finer in real life than the pictures posted online. Also - from the golf course, the beach, horse back riding and go-carting - the activities were so much fun!!!

My fiancée and I chose this destination as a midway point to meet and spend time together. Individually, our travel conditions were absolutely horrible. We were delayed by a day, and my luggage was lost. The hotel staff at Mazagan and the concierge did everything they could to accommodate us and make up for the negativities of our overall experience even though it was not the fault or responsibility of the hotel or their staff. I am extremely grateful for their kindness and expertise. If not for their sincere and caring personnel, this trip would have been extremely negatively impacted. I cannot recommend the Mazagan strongly enough for that resson. I will offer some critique though - no shisha (in the entire region), no jacuzzi, no hot tub. One pool and the water at this time of year was very cold. Technically there are two pools, but one os for children. Otherwise... an amazing experience. Make your reservations, you won't regret it!

This area of Morocco is strictly for relaxation and the beach! The town is quite sad compared to other parts, however the beach the property is on is amazing! The breakfast and dinner buffets were hard to beat! Ive never seen a dinner buffet THAT fresh, varied and tasty...with actually tender meat, in my life. The payoff is the price. The best food we had in Marrakech was 550dH. The buffet for 5 was almost 2000 dH. However my kids were sick of leaving the hotel, so it was worth the price. The overpriced go carts was my children's favorite thing about the entire hotel- so worth it in the end. The pool was freezing. I am not sure how this hotel calls its pools heated. No one was in the pool as a result! To me this is a poor business decision. They would make a lot more on drinks, etc if it was heated and more people came. Buf it may be the most beautiful pool I've ever seen at a hotel...even better than Sandals Turks and Caicos. Excellent and relaxing end to a very busy vacation in other cities in Morocco. The staff were the best in all our 3 hotels of this trip. Definte 5 star service

I‘m a golf pro and spend two weeks at your resort with a group of 11 people at the end of February and ide like to leave you my feedback on my experience there. I have never experienced such an organised resort as Mazagan, the service which we got was nothing but top class and super friendly. While we were working on the range, the caddy masters on the range always had everything perfectly organised. Hisham Mbarki was especially helpful in making sure we had everything we needed, made sure that my pupils were happy and always had enough balls, cleaning the clubs and helping me build my stations up. All this was done with the upmost professionalism. I will gladly recommend your resort and looking forward to return again next February.

This is vast resort on the beach with good facilities and an excellent golf course. The staff are some of the best we have ever experienced, very friendly, attentive and helpful. We were there in the low season and the hotel felt very empty so lacked atmosphere and some of the restaurants and bars were closed. Unfortunately for us the weather was not good for our stay in which case there’s not much to do in the surrounding area. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

The specialty restaurants had superb food & service (seafood restaurant, French restaurant). Oasis poolside food was decent. All the staff there went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. Played a round of golf - don't miss that, its a wonderful course. Only real downside is the Wifi is fairly poor. Both in the room, poolside, etc. This makes any remote work or calls home difficult. Enjoy the resort because the nearby town (El Jadida) is a waste of time.

What an amazing experience. We really fell in love with it completely. The people are so nice, It is almost incredible. Not only is the staff but also the guests. Everybody is very peaceful very warm. It’s a very nice family environment. Perfect for holidays with your kids. They are plenty of activities like quad, trampoline, mini golf an amazing swimming, pool, and a swimming pool with a slide. They all ice so delicious restaurants from seafood to barbecue on the beach to buffet and breakfast is just gargantuesque. When he comes to the spa, it’s very affordable, and the service is like seven stars with Zakia and Zinels at the reception and Asmaa as therapist, you are guaranteed to be pampered. Asmaa has a gift, golden hands, the perfect balance between pressure and relaxation. A massage fairy. When it comes to room service, can we take your order perfectly and always with a mega smile and Mohammed and Ottman would serve you as if you were home. An other mega star is the concierge, the nurse and the doctor who were absolutely fantastic amazing when our little one got under other weather. Next thank you would be for the restaurants of the pool called Oasis and his entire team who made sure that we didn’t have to move an inch to be fully pampered. Last thank you is for the lifeguards who really have a night on anything going on in the pool and react so fast on very little stuff that makes the entire piece in the head of the parents and of course the plagiste who is always there to help. Final thank you would be for everybody else. We could not list here and we have been parts in our trip and journey here. I’m thinking of the ladies who take who takes care of our room. The gardeners who are constantly making sure everything is super nice. The people who cleans all the time everywhere so everything is just perfect. The entrance reception of course and the people we haven’t seen, and Ali orchestra people of the top manager and owner of his beautiful wonderful resort.

Worst service I have even see for what they claim is 5 star. Room not ready 2 hr after check in and not until we screamed at them. No I for Action given on hotel accommodations and left to find room on our own. Room had 1 towel 1 slipper 1 I stand coffee broken tea pot no water. Room said to have coffee maker but they said no u til complained then sent broke dirty machine that I could not clean. Service rude overall. Shower head fell off wall. Prostitution in lobby. This is not. 5 star resort. Not even 3 star

Overall, it’s a great resort with a wide selection of activities ranging from golf to horseback riding. The spa service was also top class! One thing they could improve upon is the security organization. At times, it felt like there was too much surveillance with guests constantly being carded. One should not have to bear the burden of constantly explaining themselves to security agents when they are looking for peace of mind at a resort! They need to be more discreet with this in the future and ensure that guest hospitality is the number one priority.

on the restaurant on the property and were overcharged since they had two menus which one had a sticker with another price. We were charged 6 dollars for a small bowl of rice. The children with us were very hungry still since the food was terrible. The portions were very small and the price was very high. We talked to the server and they said they could not adjust the ticket. We left there walking to the hotel and planned on getting food for ourselves and mainly the children. We walked into 3 restaurants next to the lobby and were told the kitchen was closed but, they were still serving alcohol. I also, walked into the Casino to order food to take to the room for the kids but, were told we could not take food outside the casino. We were told to order room service from our room. We went to our room and tried to call the room service and guest service twice and it kept giving us a busy signal and no one answered. My 13 yr old daughter went to sleep very hungry. We went and spoke to a manager the next day and we were told they would make sure we would not have any other issues and they would look into this and get back with us. They never did. That same day we had dinner at a restaurant next to the lobby. We ordered food and one of our guest members did not receive her food until we done eating.They had no food available after 11pm and it is too far from a outside restaurant. They had liquor and casino available 24/7. We were not happy at all. Managers did nothing.

It's definitely far from a 5 star Moroccan rating, it doesn't even come close to that rating. The resort is big for the local standard, the rooms are pretty much two decades old, uncomfy beds, fridges not working, barely one and half towel for us and kids; we showed up on Monday -Wed after a major holiday (not recommended), we were told most restaurants were closed and only one option available when we arrived, their Tuesday night buffet was disaster, their breakfast was the only consistent good experience. The resort has unique amenities that we don't see often from horseback riding, Zipline, ATVs on the beach, surfclub and more, all of which were never mentioned at check-in along with absence of any welcome at arrival. The app which they recommended never worked and when we complained the response was very disappointing. We heard management was changing which may be the reason for the weak service and the bad value.

I absolutely love Mazagan. It is my happy place. Everything is just magical and wonderful about this unique resort. The real gem and heart of the resort are the staff. The hospitality, kindness are just out of this world. From reception to dining to room service to housekeeping to beach staff to luggage service, they are all superbly fantastic! Two major issues with this property - we arrived and this property was almost completely closed down. The pools were drained, all the beach facilities were closed, They had very limited food options. The Spa was not full staffed, and the activities were shut down. We were given no prior information or warning of this. The second issue was we paid for the Family suite, listed as the largest ocean front suite on the property. We paid a lot for this room and what we received was 2 adjoining hotel rooms that they claimed was a suite. It was not nearly as large or nice as advertised. The property seemed nice enough if it was actually functional and the staff was nice, but made ZERO effort to make up for amy issues we had.

Nice week away pre christmas. Hotel very quiet, pools too cold to swim as not heated so guess most people stay away. Outside temp was 16-18 degrees. Just played golf most days, course was very good, really enjoyed it and hardly anyone on it either . A la carte restaurants were excellent, buffet breakfast was fine. Buffet evening meal was average. Lots of activities for kids. All the staff were very pleasant and professional. Aicha was our maid and she was excellent, very thorough. Overall had a really nice time, would happily go again, hard to fault.

Unfortunately the hotel doesn’t live up to a 5* resort. We had many issues throughout the stay which were addressed during the stay, however impacted the overall stay. The two biggest issues are the condition of the rooms which are getting very dated. Our suite didn’t have working electricity on the terrace (Terrace Suite). Our second room the locks on the doors (key fobs) stopped working during the stay which led to our room being accessible to all. The positive would be the staff in the restaurants and the cleaning staff. They were very nice and helpful.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve been in with excellent restaurants with lots of assortment of places to eat. The place is huge, so you can never feel crowded, and the place has so many activities to do you will never be bored.

While the property is gorgeous and the food and dining are delicious, the service provided by the staff was top notch. The staff, in addition to always being incredibly friendly, would remember your name, breakfast preferences (i.e. your drinks would be at your table immediately after you went to the breakfast buffet), waiters and waitresses were extremely attentive, and the housekeeping staff did a great job (I left my clean clothes outside my suitcase and when I got back from the beach, all of them were refolded). I highly recommend this resort.

This Resort is absolutely perfect for a family vacation. It has so much to do for kids and adults and it is even though fully booked not crowded due to its size. Buddha Bar at the beach is lovely. Only one recommendation for improvement: The Sunbeds around the pool need to be renewd. On many of them you feel metal bars in your back.

We had an excellent time at Mazagon. Everything was perfect. I was extremely impressed of how they take care of their guests. The service was the best as I ever seen. The beach was gorgeous and the whole place was magical. Very family friendly but also plenty of things to do for all kind of vacationers. Definitely will be back. Thanks for a great time and beautiful memories we create at your resort.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone. One remark the staff in buffet they should trained them more ,they don’t give you your own space some of them they asking about money , and they bring food for some costumer not even in buffet . To be professional all costumer are equal until you paid for something special . If you look from middle east all waiters will try to serve you table . If you look Moroccan you know the story.

Golf was fun, staff were kind. In terms of transportation, I was charged 125$ to get to the airport for my morning flight. They offered a free airport shuttle but I didnt qualify because I had to leave before it started. I think that was ridiculous. My room was 175$/night. I brought them business by having my travel companion book two nights at their resort. Transportation to the airport should have been free. I would go back to golf but not to stay. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options and the bed was quite comfortable. I do not gamble but the casino was large and nice.

I did not know what to expect from this resort. My purpose was for relaxation and golf. It was definitely more than what I expected. Top notch customer service!! The staff and resort was excellent. At first I had issues rebooking my hotel room due to flight delays thinking. Expedia customer service told me that the hotel was charging me $500 to make a change from 1per to 2 pp stay. Berceuse I was getting nowhere with Expedia, I called the hotel directly. The hotel was extremely accommodating to make my room change at no charge. Which was much different than what Expedia was telling me!! Nevertheless the hotel customer service is one of the best I’ve seen especially since I’ve travelled to many places I don’t leave reviews. I was compelled to because of the customer service we received from the hotel from start to finish of our trip.

The waiters and staff are very helpful but I did have a waitress re use cups and cutlery from the used station rather than clean when it was busy at breakfast Also the poolside restaurant was over run with flies, making the lunch an unpleasant experience when and some simple netting would have prevented this

Do not stay at this hotel. NOT worth it. We have been numerous time and won't stay again. Overly crowded and so many small children running around and noisy in lobby. Pool was not relaxing, too crowded. So many kids unattended in pool. Activities closed so early in summer. Restaurants too crowded and so many bees on restaurant terrace. Management has sunk to an all time low. We won't come again.

What a disappointment. I would give them ZERO stars. We have stayed at this resort several times. Will not stay there again. Poorly mismanaged. Signs prohibiting balls and scooters yet so many small children running noisily in the lobby, some kicking a ball around and one racing around on their scooter inside. Pool overly crowded, several small children in pool without parents. Activities and Buddah Bar all closed so early considering it was summer. Restaurant on first floor has so many bees while eating. Restaurants were too crowded and very noisy. It was really a disappointment. So many small and new resorts trying much harder. Mazagan was definitely not worth going to. We will not return.

Mazagan truly is a beautuful place but beware, DO NOT sign any order receipt unless you really mean to charge your meals or dronks to your room. If you plan on paying with a card or cash, they may still try to get you to sign an order receipt and you'll be charged twice and will end up wasting time at the main desk fighting the reception staff to remove the double charge from your room's final bill. The restaurants and activities are great but pretty pricey, hey it's a luxury resort. Be prepared to shell some doe.

Very nice resort. We stayed for 2 nights. Staffs were very attentive by the pool and breakfast buffet. Great breakfast selection with Moroccan and western style foods. The only down side was we went to Sel de Mar for my husband’s birthday dinner snd they didn’t have 2 of the 3 dishes we wanted on the menu and they only had 8 main courses to choose from. Bread was cold, mashed potatoes tasteless, and lamb loin too salty. The manager gave us 2 complementary desserts at the end when he came by to check on us which was a kind gesture. Overall we had a very nice time at the resort.

This place is ranked as a 5 stars when in fact it should be ranked as 1 maybe 1.5 at best. The architecture of the building is traditional and very nice. Everything else needs lots of improvement. More importantly proper hygiene, and better training for their staff to learn to deal with guests with the due respect. You can’t claim 5 stars status, charge 5 stars prices for mediocre service.

Very nice experience. Visited during the covid-19 pandemic and felt very safe. Hotel staff properly wear masks at all times and disinfectant is used throughout. The resort is very secure, the rooms are comfortable, the beach is vast and beautiful, and the food is varied and tasty (but a little expensive).
