Riad Dar Aicha is on the very good location, really easy to find, 15 min walk from Jardin Majorelle and 5 min walk from the souks. Rachida was kind, speaking English and French. She baked corn bread and it was just fantastic to eat it still warm. Having riad for ourself was perfect. Riad is very well maintained, nicely decorated, rooms are good size and bathrooms very clean. Just the water pressure in the shower is low as in the most riads in this part of medina. Breakfast was delicious. We used the transfer from airport that they arranged and they help with transfer also on the way back nevertheless we didn't stay in this riad when we came back from the desert. (It was full. ) We will come back for sure.

Très bin accueil, propreté, disponibilité du personne, emplacement dans la médina. Rapport qualité prix très intéressant si on utilise les 4 chambres.
Cons: Un peu comme presque partout à la médina, les ruelles à côté ne sont pas très attractives.

Riad Dar Aïcha is very well located, in a quiet street, next to the Medina and near a main taxi point. The team is very nice, available and responsive. The 4 rooms are very nice, all with private bathroom (great beds!). It’s perfect for a family or a small group. Riad dar Aicha offers nice value for price paid
Cons: No water pressure Rooftop felt abandoned and need some care Breakfast wasn’t worth it in our opinion. Better get lost in the medina and find a nice café

Cons: Rien !

Cons: Nice clean rooms, lovely and cool courtyard, great location within walking distance from the souk

The property was beautiful, really spacious, clean and light and the roof terrace was perfect for sunbathing! It was in a great location with all the main city and attractions within walking distance. Just around the corner from the property is a social enterprise business offering city bike tours - a great way to get to know the city (although cycling through the narrow market streets was quite an experience!). Our host Yassmine and housekeeper Rachida were both incredibly friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome - the Moroccan mint tea made for us each morning was a bonus! Would definitely recommend this property.
Cons: We visited at the end of January and although the temperatures got up to 25 degrees by midday, the mornings and evenings were very cold and the riad took some time to warm up (obviously they're designed to keep cool in the hot summer months). There were heaters in every room which were effective, but not being on timers meant that when you returned on an evening it took a little bit of time to get the room warmed up, so warm evening clothes and sleep wear are advisable during the winter months.

We were a family of 3 couples and 1 child, and it was the best option to stay at Dar Aicha all together. It was beautifully clean and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect to prepare breakfast. Jasmine was very kind and perfect host! I was bit worried when I booked it because it looked like it was on the busy road, however it was super quiet at night so we slept really well! We actually booked a different riad initially however there was an unfortunate event so they asked us to cancel. So I looked up in hurry but Jasmine was always there for me and sent me all the tips for the parking and everything. It was really perfect stay, and I'm glad we had to cancel that riad and stayed at Dar Aicha instead. For us, it was 3rd time in Marrakesh, and I can say that the best host we've ever had! Thank you!
Cons: Nothing!

The riad is the perfect choice: in the centre with 4 big double rooms ( each with its bathroom+ 1 service toilet), a wonderful terrace and everything is always cleaned and curated! A big added value is Yassmine, perfect owner super kind and available that makes our holiday just perfect!

Magnificent riad. Spacy, enough room for 8 persons. Very comfortable beds. Three out of four rooms have air-conditioning. Every room has its own bath room. Good location. Very warm welcome with mint tea and bottles of water. This really compensated the difficult check-in.
Cons: Making arrangements about arrival time and check-in is next to impossible. Riad personnel don't communicate with eachother. We had to wait a long time and needed to call many times before we were picked up, despite having followed the instructions and having notified the personnel during our trip several times. The kitchen was not as clean as we would have liked.

We were redirected to Riad Dar Sara upon arrival. The above rating I provide is for Riad dar Sara. If you are booking Riad dar Aicha and are trying to find it on foot bear in mind that it is in a dead end lane. To find it locate Riad Larouse on the main street, turn left just past it (on your left) and then left again. You can ask for directions at the reception in Riad Larouse.

We booked this hotel as a cheap winter break and it fulfilled this role very well. It was clean and pretty, and although our room was quite small, the bed was incredibly comfy!! The Riad was well maintained and had a lovely roof terrace, although in December, this was mostly enjoyed with some extra layers on. The staff spoke very little English, and nearly all communication was in French, but they were lovely and helpful and couldn't do enough. Breakfast was 'continental Morocco' style with freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee or mint tea as required and plenty bread/jam/eggs - it was the same every day, but tasty nonetheless. It was a little cold in the Riad - our room had a heater and was fine, but at breakfast, a big jumper was required. As long as you are prepared for this in the winter months, this did not detract from the break. There were extra features available which was not evident from the Expedia website - they are part of a group called Marrakesh Riads and offer excursions, hamman visits and bookings at their restaurants Dar Cherifa and Dar Zellij. 1 free airport transfer is included and I'd recommend this on arrival as the Riad would not be easily found without help! (Although the location was fine, once we'd found our way around) We ate in the Riad on two occasions - the food was excellent and easily compared with other places we went to in Marrakesh. You have to give advance notice if you want to eat in, but I'd definitely recommend this.

Dar Aicha Riad was an excellent choice. It is a small Riad with only three rooms, two on the first floor and one on the basement. I stayed on the basement one which was a little bit small but cosy. I would think that both rooms upstairs will be better, as the kitchen is downstairs, just opposite the basement room and it could get noisy in the morning. I was already awaken by the time our host was there to make us breakfast, so no problem for me. My room didn't have air-conditioning, but if you ask you may get a fan. Overall, my stay was great in this little Riad and I would recommend it to anyone who wishes a little bit of serenity and quietness in the Medina.
