I arrived at the hotel and was surprised how friendly everyone was. 😊 At day 1 while i waited for my room I got offered tea ☕️& cookies 🍪🍪. Staff came to chat and this only happened in Morocco where people are so nice, friendly and kind! The guy at the reception with the dark, curly hair took his time to show me where my number was. My luggage was brought there and my room number was nice, cozy and clean. There were so many delicious foods and the Moroccan music had made the vibe even more amazing at the hotel. 🤩 I saw that other people were dancing and enjoying too. I stayed at this hotel for 3 days at the garden side while my family stayed by the beach side and they were mind blown by the view of the room. The security was very good and there was a shop on site too where you could buy souvenirs, water & other stuff. Whever I needed help with something, they guys at the reception always helped right away. The people working there felt like a family, we loved our stay and the garden side was also nice, the pool was there and I could walk there even at night time if I wanted. Dont hesistate to book this hotel because it has amazing foods, drink & bar also. It felt very luxury and Moroccan style with beautiful designs that seemed like a Dream☆ Thank you for everything!
Cons: I liked everything. I only didnt like that I got hay fever in general during my holidays. 🥹 It' s the time of the year where i felt sick already in Ireland. My eyes would water and get red and swollen and I spent my birthday in my room sleeping all day. But luckily we found something for it in the pharmacy. I also didnt like that i didnt stay at that hotel for a longer time 😄!

Nous y sommes allés en famille et tout était parfait. Nourriture bonne, bon service et très joli environnement. Nous avons eu un soucis dans une chambre à notre arrivée et on a changé de chambre sans discuter et rapidement.
Cons: L'animation (durant la journée) pour un hôtel de cet ampleur, n'était pas incroyable mais j'imagine qu'après une grosse saison d'été, le service d'animation était bien fatigué!

Die Lage direkt am schönen Strand von Agadir und an der hübschen Promenade ist sehr gut. Das Hotel hat eine schöne große Poolanlage und auch wenn die Liegen sehr dicht beieinander stehen sind sie aber ausreichend vorhanden. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war groß und stets vorbildlich sauber. Schön fand ich auch das in den Fluren Trinkwasserspender und in den Zimmern Flaschen und Gläser dafür standen.
Cons: Uns hat das Essen nicht so wirklich gut geschmeckt, aber das ist natürlich Geschmacksache. Letztlich haben wir immer etwas gefunden. Was uns wirklich genervt hat war das Chaos beim Check- in und das völlig überforderte Personal beim Check- in. Das habe ich so noch nicht erlebt.

Cons: Czasem śmierdziało szambem, dostaliśmy pokól nie jak na zdjeciach na basen a ścianę z drugiej strony. Były 2 baseny plus brodzik, dopiero po kilku dniach ogarneliśmy że ostatni najgłębszy basen jest podgrzewany, brak o tym informacji. Tak samo sporowe animacje, stary sprzęt. Chciałem paletki do pingponga ale nie było. Hotel ma swoje lata, niewielkim kosztem można zmaczeni polepszyć standard. Drugiego dnia skończył się szampo, 2x sprzątali i nie dali nowego mimo że wyrzuciłem butelke na wierch, skonczyło sie mydło, 2x musiałem prosić o uzupełnienie, szamponu nie dostaliśmy do końca wyjazdu.

How close the beach is to the hotel and the pool area. Pool area, restaurant and hotel lobby was very clean. The food was tasty and the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Taxis are easily accessible directly outside the hotel.
Cons: The beds were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in whilst on holiday, this was also the opinion of my partner and children. There was a foul eggy smell every day from late afternoon onwards when on the balcony. We had to ensure the balcony doors were closed to prevent the stench coming into the room. Water leaked from the shower screen onto the floor during each shower causing a bit of a slip hazard. The filtered water from the dispensers in the hotel tasted sour. We had to buy bottled water to drink and clean our teeth with. Although the food was tasty, it was repetitive and got a bit boring. We decided to eat out on several occasions for something different.

Cons: It is ridiculous that a big international hotel like this is unable to organise a transfer for its clients. We asked twice at the reception and they seemed quite unmotivated to help us they only pointed us to a local tour operator in the entry hall who didn’t do transfers. I don’t think it can be this hard to pick up the phone and call a local taxi/transfer company and check the price for a transfer to another city. Every small Riad in Essaouira and Marrakesh was able to do so. Their unwillingness to help us was a real disappointment! Also the housekeeping staff did not seem to know how to put the sheets on the bed and blanket, we had to call room service when we arrived to make them aware that the blanket was not fully covered by the sheets.

Cons: The room was damp unfortunately. We complained and the alternative room was also the same. There is an issue internally with moisture and dampness. The bedding felt wet even when changed over it felt the same. We complained about it but in the end we just gave up.

Nous n'avons pas réservé dans un CLUB mais une chambre dans un hôtel, impossible de se reposer dans la chambre sans entendre un boum boum permanent et le soir le bruit intense du mur de spectacle Autant nous avions déjà apprécié un hôtel en TUNISIE de votre chaine d'hôtel, autant nous avons passé un très mauvais séjour dans votre établissement. De grâce louez l'ensemble de l'établissement a un CLUB, mais évitez de dire que vous étés un hôtel. La clientèle qui vient dans un hôtel 4 étoiles souhaite une bonne restauration et du calme, totalement différent de la clientèle CLUB qui souhaite de la musique très fort, des activités et se satisfait d'une restauration très moyenne, avec un prix bas. Vous devez faire un choix soit Hôtel soit CLUB.

L'hôtel est conforme aux photos et très bien entretenu ! Le personnel est très serviable. Il y a de l'animation et la nourriture est très bonne.

The staff was amazing! From reception to the cleaning team, everyone was so kind and helpful. Special mention to the bartender who made our stay with his lovely sangrias and mojitos! Also, the buffet was lovely and the swimming pool was very nice.
Cons: We were under the impression that our room would have a kettle, as mentioned when booking. Unfortunately, we forgot to double-check this at check-in, and we really needed it to prepare our baby’s food. We received one the following day, but it was very dirty with rests of milk inside. The replacement we were given also had rust inside, so we decided not to use it for safety reasons. Additionally, we had requested a baby cot, but unfortunately, we didn’t receive one. Overall, everything was perfect for us, but for our 10 month's baby, these details made things a bit difficult.

L’emplacement génial, piscine à la température parfaite, propreté respectée dans les salles de restauration. Cette année particulièrement l’équipe d’animation était particulièrement sympathique et les différentes activités étaient très amusantes.
Cons: L’une des chambres réservées n’était pas prêtes correctement, sans produits d’hygiène, manque d’oreille. En plus il avait une forte odeur d’humidité ! La nuit c’était presque étouffant, même après avoir notifié la réception, il n’y ont pas vraiment remédié!

Cons: Qualité et variété de la nourriture en nette dégradation par rapport à l'an dernier. La viande du jour était des filets poulet 9 fois sur 10, les cuissons n'étaient pas bonnes (pâtes bcp trop cuites), les assaisonnements n'était pas bons. Le gros point noir fut la scène de concert installée devant la piscine sur laquelle se déroulait chaque soir une soirée avec la musique à fond + les animateurs qui crient à fond au micro jusqu'à 23h et comme la moitié des chambres donnent sur la piscine, si vous avez le malheur d'y être installés avec un enfant en bas âge, alors prévoyez une dose de rhum dans son biberon chaque soir, car sans ça impossible de l'endormir. C'est pas normal de réserver dans un hôtel familial avec un enfant de 3 ans et d'être placé à 30m d'une scène de concert. L'an dernier la scène n'existait pas et malgré les quelques soirées organisées par l'hôtel, c'était très nettement moins bruyant. Si vous avez des ados, pas de soucis, ils vont adorer, mais si vous avez des enfants en bas âge, passez votre chemin.

Cons: J’ai fait plusieurs séjours dans cet hôtel les années passées et cette année j’ai constaté que l’hôtel a réduit son standing à tout point de vue ! Exemple : restaurant poisson sur réservation la veille , ce qui n’était pas le cas. Le bar avec un seul serveur ce qui donne des files immenses. La nourriture est toujours bonne mais avec des propositions moins diversifiées et surtout des desserts malheureusement moins bons que lors des années précédentes !

Cons: Les repats végétariens ne le sont pas malgré qu' il indiqué végétarien on trouve dedant de casher de viande. Aussi le payement de 30 dh/jour pour le coffre-fort qui est n'est pas mentionné dans booking est une surprise pour moi. Il n y pas assez de choix pour les repats proposés durant 7 jours je n avais pas vue qu'il y a de grand changement.

Cons: As a returning guest of Iberostar Agadir for several years, I was shocked by how much the quality has declined. This hotel no longer reflects the standards of a 4-star establishment, and I will not be coming back. From check-in, the atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming. The reception staff were distant and arrogant, and the porters were openly unfriendly. There is a clear and unacceptable preference given to foreign guests over Moroccan ones. The entertainment was extremely poor – loud, low-quality speakers around the pool and an intrusive team of entertainers who flirted openly with guests, including teenagers. Their behavior was uncomfortable, inappropriate, and unprofessional, especially in a family environment. The lifeguard Ismail, with black and red dreadlocks, was extremely aggressive and disrespectful – completely unfit for this kind of role. The food experience was just as disappointing: repetitive buffet, average quality, watered-down drinks, no straws, and long queues at the snack bar. The drinks at the bar were watered down and the cocktails were extremely cheap-tasting – not what you’d expect from a hotel of this level. Most shocking of all: the entertainers eat at the buffet with the guests, helping themselves without any regard – this is completely unacceptable in a 4-star hotel. The toilets in the common areas were filthy, smelled terrible, and looked like old public restrooms – nothing you’d expect in a resort of this category. The Star Camp staff were cold, never smiled, and looked at Moroccan guests with clear discomfort or disapproval. Once again, the difference in treatment between foreign and local guests was obvious and disappointing. ➡️ This hotel has lost its standards. I do not recommend it, especially for families.

Location was great, private access to the beach and easy access to taxis if you want to move around town. The staff was always pleasant.
Cons: The lifts/elevators. As a family I was in a family room which are all apparently located on the ground floor but the reception and the restaurant/buffet was on the 1st floor. The lifts were a good distance and there was only 1 to the right of my room (closer) and 2 to the left side-side but a good 5min walk. They are tight small lifts, getting in and out with a double buggy was very difficult and having to do these multiple times a day was challenging and disheartening. The kids options at the restaurant/buffet. There is a beautifully created kids corner with kids plates, bowls and cups and food but the food is just carbs - chips, plain rice, pasta. On day 1 we asked if they had chicken nuggets or any source of kids protein and the reply was “we do everyday, just not today” and for the following 4-5 days we saw nothing until my husband talked to the manager and chef and within 10min they brought us a plate of nuggets and put out for other guests (which ended in 20min). They did it again a few more times during our stay but no variety. The kids camp was very poor, kids had no organized activities that we could see - just let them do whatever they wanted so our kid didn’t want to go. The indoor heated pool was only free and available for 2h of the day (during lunchtime which not ideal as people and kids want to eat). The mornings can be a bit chilly with the wind and lack of sun, and some kids (and adults) find it hard to use the pool during the mornings but the indoor heated pool isn’t available unless paid (free only between 12-2 and then obviously would be massively busy). The food at the buffett was ok-ish, lack of variety. Most things repeat and 2-3 dishes are new. We were there for 12 days, after 5-6 days it became boring and repetitive. The breakfast is very good and complete. There are 2 hours during the day when there is no food available (not in the restaurant nor in the pool bar) - between 11-12 and between 3-4pm.

Family of four with two adults and two children under 8. The location on the beach front was stunning. The beach and promenade was very pleasant and felt reay safe. The hotel itself is immaculate and the staff team are fantastic in every aspect of the hotel. There is a very relaxed vibe. The family room was very large and impressive. We had a pool view and were very close to the heart of the hotel which meant there was some noise from the evening entertainment, which may disturb smaller childrens sleep at night. The food was really excellent and as a family we ate well for the week. The pool was great the only improvement would be to have a pool that graduates in depth as the two large pools are very deep. The childs pool is heated and perfect for little ones. We really had a fabulous time at this hotel and the value for money was superb. We will return to the property in the future as we enjoyed it so much.

Cons: Staff were inefficient, got passed around multiple people on the main desk to get basic answers on queries, room wasn't ready for checked in time, we both had slightly dodgy stomachs (not sure if filtered water available or alcohol or food, or mixture of both), certain instructions not clear from staff. Small things really, but probably fair things to mention. Air con was rubbish in room also, basically non existent. Would be horrible in summer. We had to keep door open overnight to get some fresh air through the room.

Everything at this hotel is fantastic. The staff, food, facilities, and the complex are spotless at all times. The rooms have loads of space and have good light. The atmosphere is so relaxed, and the views are great, especially as sun goes down in the evening.
Cons: The taxi men out the front. They're rude, pushy, and over change you at every opportunity. We learned after a few days to walk 2-3 minutes away from the hotel and flag down a taxi with a meter. The price of our taxis was halfed.

All of the staff across the hotel were excellent in delivering four star service. We enjoyed all our meals at the restaurant and pool bar. I appreciated the smaller scale breakfast that was available at the pool bar after 10am and there were also other snack sittings throughout the day. We unfortunately missed out on eating at the Moroccan al a carte restaurant as we had a food tour booked instead. All the beers and wines that we had were a good standard for all inclusive. There were a range of activities available throughout the day and the evening for those that wanted to participate. My mum and I were happy to relax and the animation staff were respecting of that. We enjoyed the upstairs bar in the evenings which was a bit quieter with a great musician who played a range of music to be enjoyed. The indoor pool at the spa is open 12-2pm everyday and there are a range of treatments available. I booked a hammam massage which was fantastic! The hotel, rooms and grounds are maintained to a high standard throughout. The pool area was pleasant with plenty sun loungers available (even if you’re not a 6am riser!). The only area I feel could be improved would be to utilise the lovely grounds to space out the loungers and therefore make it more spacious around the pool area. I would normally only opt for an adults only hotel, however, I had to book this hotel whilst in Agadir to move from elsewhere. The hotels use of early/late dinner sittings and different bar spaces helped to cater to everyone’s needs.

It's a nice hotel, directly by the beach. We came for a few days to enjoy sun and a pool and I was very positively surprised how warm the heated pool was. However, the heated pool was quite deep (170 m) and the other, more shallow pool was not heated. There is also an indoor pool where we went one rainy day but there the water is very (too) hot. The food was quite good with a lot of variety. You could also get afternoon snacks by the pool. We had a family room with a sea view and it was quiet big and comfortable with a nice view from the balcony. I liked that the hotel provide water fountains and carafes in the room rather than bottled water.

The hotel itself is nice, but check-in sets the tone, and after that, the service is lackluster. The staff seem unaware of basic hotel and social etiquette, walking into guests with trolleys and expecting us to move. When you need assistance, they’re too busy chatting to notice. the Pool area was nice and plenty of loungers to enjoy the sunshine and the promenade of beach was nice for walks. The few staff who were competent were clearly picking up the slack for the rest. That said, reception and porters were the most helpful.
Cons: The food was subpar, lacking flavor and variety, especially for vegetarians. The same limited options were repeated for every lunch and dinner, forcing me to piece together a salad from whatever plain vegetables were available, as most dishes contained meat or fish. Housekeeping was minimal at best, rooms were “cleaned” daily, but this just meant a quick wipe of the bathroom and floors. Sheets, towels, bins, and even water jugs were left unchanged for the entire week. the beds had springs jutting into us we just sank into the centre of the mattress as they were so worn. Management was nowhere to be seen, and while some staff looked busy, they didn’t actually do anything.

The standard of food and choices available were excellent. Despite the size of the organisation, we felt we received a very personal service. We were unlucky with the weather but the hotel facilities made up for it. Would love to visit again.
Cons: The outside seating area for the bar which we had to walk through to reach our room was used by smokers and so the smell was unpleasant. I’d recommend moving the smoking area away from the main area but that was the only negative.

My stay was wonderful. Everything from the room, food, amenities, staff and beach was great. Food was delicious, a wide variety and well displayed. I had a relaxing time. Security was excellent and not intrusive in any way. Pools were lovely and it was perfect having a heated one as the weather was chilly at times. (The inside pool is only accessible to guests between 12 and 2 p.m) It would have been helpful to know about the timings of access to the outside pools, the towel pool hut or when any entertainment that was going on around the hotel. It was not displayed anywhere and I was not made aware of any timings or where things were being held particularly for the evenings. All in all a brilliant stay. Thank you very much.

My husband and I had a wonderful five days at this hotel. The food was excellent; varied and plentiful. Even the poolside bar had a brilliant choice of foods and I chose to eat there most mornings for breakfast. The staff were superb; hardworking but always happy and smiling. We loved the private beach, as well as the easy, straight walk into town and the marina. There are plenty of activities going on during the day, including aqua swim, Zumba, darts and archery, but also enough space to just chill out around the pool or on the terrace. I thoroughly enjoyed the spa, but a heads up, this is cash only. There is so much to do in Agadir, so we felt that we had the perfect mix of enjoying trips and excursions, then having a lovely, peaceful and relaxing hotel to enjoy on our return.
Cons: It's very minor, but the main shower head wasn't fully functioning. We should have reported it to reception, but we were satisfied with the hand held shower head instead. Also, check in was a little chaotic; I'm sure there could be a restructure of how this operates.

This is a well maintained resort with spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff that I interacted with were all excellent and very helpful. It is very well managed as they were both friendly and yet still very professional. The breakfast and evening buffet food was very fresh and a wide variety is available, with the catering teams constantly on the move never stood around, again well organised. The only detraction for me was the lack of any amenities such as shower caps in the bathroom and a tissue box included somewhere in the room. The water refill stations are a great and sustainable idea, but they should come full rather than empty the first time. I travel frequently and have high standards, this was an excellent stay.

All the meals were excellent with many choices. We kept to mainly a vegetarian/fruit diet so as not to put on weight! Friendly staff who were very helpful. Our room was facing the sea so we were very pleased. The pool areas were clean and plenty of sun beds although they were very close together.
Cons: The guests!!! Iv seen a man enter the dining room without a shirt, no one told him to dress. I saw an African man with flip flops at dinner who removed them when he sat down. Urgh! The dress code is not adhered to by many guests! See through clothing is not acceptable at the cocktail party.

Cons: Dear Iberostar Team, I am writing to express my disappointment following my recent stay at your Agadir resort. On the last day, I was unfairly asked to pay 150 Moroccan dirhams for a missing towel card. Despite opening my bag multiple times and going back and forth to my room—clearly distressed—the staff insisted on payment. I was traveling with three children, one of whom was unwell, requiring frequent nurse visits and even an emergency doctor’s consultation. The lack of empathy shown by your staff, particularly the rude and sarcastic receptionist, was disheartening. After an already stressful week, being treated in this manner left me feeling humiliated and disrespected. This experience has tainted what should have been a relaxing holiday. Its a regular Iberostar all-inclusive at one end of the Agadir beach. Not close to the busy part of the beach, but right on the beach - and since there is everything you need inside the resort itself, its a good option. Food quality is decent, variety is big. No complaints on the variety - icecream stations were always busy and you had to wait. The pools were too cold to enjoy when we stayed, although there were children who were in the water. Take an oceanview room and the view is worth it. There are a couple of nightclubs close by if you want to party late, and the town isn't too far, taxis waiting anytime you need one. Overall - I would stay here again.

Cons: The facility is jaded and needs renovation/improvements. There is just one swimming pool that was heated especially during this season when it's a bit chilly hence a bit crowded as the other one is left cold. The indoor swimming pool is quite small for a place that has more than 600 rooms and guest on all inclusive have access between 12 noon and 2pm only. There is no other activities except for pétanque that is assured for usage. Tennis is always fully booked even though when you go there, sometimes nobody is using it. Hence makes it harder for other guest to use the facility when they don't control to allow other guest to use it for those who don't show up. The rackets are given to the guest instead of picking it up directly close to the court as there are guards, that way for those who don't show up, others can use it. Very simple tactic but even that can't be implemented. Moreover, they have basketball court which is used as football pitch as well. For a place with more than 600 rooms, very bizarre, they have two basketball balls that they somehow lost it. One was without pressure and they couldn't even fix that. It's surprising, like how much does it really cost to buy extra basketballs and tennis rackets so guest can use it. Given the cost that guests are paying, it was really disappointing. And to add salt to injury, the animation team doesn't seem to have any creativity at all as they couldn't engage with people, you wonder how they can't improve such a place when it has such huge potentials. It can be better if they want to improve and put some of the profits from it into the facilities, otherwise not worth it. Oh and I didn't see any lift, wondered about accessibility for other people that might require it.

Our room was clean with the exception of a bit of dirt/sand on the floor when we arrived. The food had a good combination of traditional Moroccan and western foods. They catered very well for bother adults and kids. We were there over new years and the hotel pulled out all the stops for New Year’s Eve with food, cocktails, decorations and entertainment - they did an amazing job!! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was good. We did get a taxi anywhere we went so not sure if there is anything in walking distance. During our visit it was around 15-20 degrees (Celsius). The heated pool was too cold still for me however our kid had no dramas getting in.
Cons: My main negative was the beds were hard and uncomfortable. We requested a bed for our 3 year old however it wasn’t made up when we arrived making the end of a big day travelling longer. However, the staff made up the lounge for him and he stayed in it comfortably for our visit. We had a massage at the spa which I would not recommend as it was basically just rubbing oil on you with no technique.

The room was a good size for a family of four, and we received daily service. The location was central to all tourist attractions in Agadir. I would recommend it as family- and kid-friendly.
Cons: It would be better if the hotel managed transportation to and from tours. The taxi service outside the hotel was very poor, and I found the drivers to be overly pushy. I couldn't find any metered taxis in Agadir, but they seemed safe. I believe the local government should better regulate taxis and allow services like Uber to operate, making transportation more accessible for tourists.

Cons: I couldn’t believe the facilities didn’t have air conditioning during this season, especially when Booking clearly states that air conditioning is available. I stayed on the ground floor and didn’t feel comfortable sleeping with the balcony door open with my kids. They really need to improve and allow guests to control the temperature in their rooms. I called reception, and they told me the air conditioning isn’t turned on at this time of year, claiming they make this clear (which is not true, as the Booking listing contradicts this). Very disappointing experience.

The staff were all amazing. Calling out certain names would be unfair as it’s a fantastic team effort from the check in team, cleaning staff, dinning team and the entertainers for the kids. It was a wonderful stay. Not expecting anything, I was left wanting to stay here again. I previously stayed at Tikida Palace which was a 5 star hotel. However, this hotel even though 4 star was amazing and where I will stay aim to again.

Great location facing the beach of Agadir. Well kept overall and clean. Staff nice and friendly. Room was ok for the price. The food (in all inclusive breakfast, lunch and dinner) was good and varied however it can feel a bit repetitive if staying for long. We had shorter stay of 3 days so did not get bored with food :) They have 2 restaurants for inside and one outdoor cafe (poolside). One of the restaurant needs reservation and known to serve local cuisine. The other one is buffet with good variety and something for everyone. Hotel has spa (paid), and some sporting activities available for free such as table tennis, tennis, archery, gym. They have one outside heated pool, one kids pool and one non-heated outdoor pool. The heated pool is for swimmers as its depth can be between 165--175 cm and there is no railing to stand at the corners. There is also one indoor pool (heated) next to spa which is accessible only between 12-2 pm. It would have been much better if they could heat up the other outdoor pool which is not that deep (between 120-140cm) I suppose. This would allow people who cannot easily swim to also stay in the pool during cooler weather. The hotel has easy access to the beach area and promenade which is great for those who would like to explore the surrounding area by walk. The beachfront has nice activities spots such as surfing school, jetsky, city tour booking, buggy trip etc.Also some nice restaurants, shops located by walking distances. The hotel has 2 bars an indoor ATM machine for cash withdrawal and foreign exchange counter. They also run shows for adults and kids in their indoor theatre place. The hotel is kids-friendly too and there is something for everyone. Overall we had a great stay !
Cons: We were given incorrect info about the laundry services. We were told during the check-in time by the lady at the reception that laundry is paid only if we ask for washing and ironing. Only washing is included in the all inclusive. We reconfirmed the same with cleaning ladies whom we give clothes and they said the same thing. Later we were told at the time of checkout that this is not the case and we were mistaken or given incorrect info. I understand that perhaps we had a big misunderstanding but the reception guy Mehdi who was there during checkout was sheet rude with us and somehow appear to hold us dishonest for this claim and said. This made our checkout experience bad however overall we still had a great stay.

Couldn't have asked for more. This was a 4 day get away to recharge the batteries after a long and busy year. If I have one complaint it is that there are no facilities at the heated outdoor pool for guests who have mobility issues. I suffered damage to my knee and leg after slipping on the ladder style steps. My knee was already suffering, but this slip has made it worse. I did see that there were steps into the unheated pool, so why not the same facilities for the heated one?

Our family recently spent seven days at the Iberostar Agadir in December. While our experience had many highlights, there were also notable drawbacks that are important to mention for future travelers and hotel management alike. The hotel is situated near the end of Agadir’s promenade, directly across from the beach. The expansive beach area is easily accessible, though regrettably, it suffers from a lack of cleanliness—a recurring issue in Morocco, where public spaces often lack adequate maintenance. The hotel follows the familiar Iberostar four-star model, though it is evident that service standards differ from those of its European counterparts. For instance, used glasses left by guests in hotel corridors remained there for days without being collected. We experienced this directly outside our room and had to request their removal, as we were concerned for our 5-year-old daughter’s safety. The animation team (Lucas, Jefferson, JZ, Camila, and Joana) was exceptional—friendly, energetic, and genuinely dedicated. Our daughter loved the Kids’ Club and often asked to return. This was one of the trip’s highlights. The all-inclusive dining experience exceeded our expectations. The food was diverse, plentiful, and of good quality. Despite the challenges posed by some guests who wasted large amounts of food and created unnecessary messes, the restaurant staff remained patient, hard-working, and professional. Beverage-wise, while premium drinks come with an extra cost, the complimentary options were excellent: purified water stations, soft drinks, fresh juices, and herbal infusions. Only the coffee fell short, particularly for those accustomed to Portuguese or Italian standards. The poolside snack buffet during late mornings and afternoons was a great bonus. The hotel surprised me with a thoughtful celebration for my birthday, adding a personal touch that we greatly appreciated. The rooms were spacious and functional, though cleanliness was adequate rather than exceptional
Cons: Spa & Wellness Services: This was, by far, the most disappointing aspect of our stay. Being experienced spa-goers, we purchased a three-massage package for two, costing approximately €500—a steep price given the level of service received. The advertised package promised three distinct massage types; however, all treatments were identical and lacked any professionalism. The therapists appeared untrained, offering nothing more than oil-rubbing without proper technique, care, or consistency. At times, the experience bordered on unpleasant and even painful. The ambiance was equally problematic—noisy, chaotic, with loud music playing, entirely at odds with a relaxing spa environment. Despite our complaints, the situation did not improve. As compensation, the staff offered an additional 30-minute session, which my wife reluctantly accepted, hoping for a better experience. However, this attempt was equally dismal, with the receptionist even making an inappropriate remark, suggesting she “needed a man to give her a proper massage.” The worst aspect was dealing with the spa’s manager. On our final day, desperate to obtain an official invoice for accounting purposes, my wife requested to speak with the manager. Instead of addressing the issue, she dismissed our concerns with visible indifference, unaware that my wife had observed her behavior firsthand. This level of unprofessionalism left a lasting negative impression.

Our first experience of "all inclusive"! Most of the staff were extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful. Lots of staff that seemed genuinely happy in their work environment. Endless supply of food that included so many varied options with choices being changed nightly. Lots of varied entertainment. Lovely pools and hotel layout, photos don't really do it justice. Directly across from the beach.
Cons: Things to consider: Reception staff were not as friendly or helpful as all others encountered. Keep bright lighting in the food display areas but reduce lighting in the dining area for a nicer dining experience (less canteen style) We were 3 adults in one room. We had plenty space but we had two single beds and two pull out beds and a sofa bed, it would have been so much nicer if one person didn't have to sleep in a pull out bed for the holiday.

Cons: no full size mirror in the rooms, and only one rubbish bin in the bathroom but not in the room. I think its all very minor issues, everything else was incredible.

Cons: Every night the hotel played extraordinarily loud thumping music until 11:00-11:30 pm. The loudspeakers were set up in the swimming pool area where most of the rooms were facing. This is despite a well equipped indoor theatre that would be ideally suited for this purpose and would reduce the noise level in the bedrooms considerably. The noise made it impossible to sleep. The resort is advertised as a family holiday resort, but the nightly noise makes it impossible for young and old alike to sleep until well past 11:00 pm. The management was totally uninterested in our complaints about the nightly noise

Séjour d’une semaine en famille début juillet. A l’arrivée une des chambres n’était pas prête, pas grave nous en avions deux et avons pu poser nos affaires. Nous sommes allés au restaurant et avons découvert ce que nous appellerons pour la suite des vacances la cantine! Une grande salle, trop bruyante, des repas pas variés, sans goût, toujours les mêmes plats midi et soir, des personnes pas respectueuses qui se servent, goûtent et remettent dans le plat! Des assiettes renversées non nettoyées… nous étions 5 et tous avons été malades à cause de la nourriture médiocre. L’hôtel est sale, les murs, les sols, les rambardes des escaliers sont collants de saleté. Le ménage en chambre est fait très sommairement, le sable ramène de la plage est resté une semaine dans nos chambres! Les chambres sont mal insonorisées et bruyantes. La literie est confortable mais nous avions une chambre de 3 personnes et la 3e un ado de 12 ans devait dormir dans le canapé non convertible et pas confortable du tout alors que j’avais payé pour une chambre triple! Les cocktails au bar sont mauvais, ils sont fait avec trop de sucre et des jus reconstitués, horrible, au bout de 3 jours tout le monde a arrêté d’en boire. Quelques serveurs sont aimables, les autres non. Nous ne pouvions plus accéder à nos chambres une journée avant le départ, la réception s’est trompée de date sur nos cartes, nous avons attendu longtemps avant de pouvoir y retourner… En résumé a éviter, plus jamais je n’irai dans cet hôtel

The food variety is not good at all, nothing seasoned, one meat, one fish and one chicken dish each meal and no flavour No food that's appropriate for kids, no variety, my girls had boiled rice and boiled pasta all week with salt, thankfully there are food options outside Breakfast was good, and dessert section is good, but that's it They have a indoor pool which is heated which is great when the weather is not great but it has limitation, only open 12-2pm, age restriction for children 7 and above with an adult.

Friendly and helpful staff but not super well organised. 3.5/5 as facilities are getting a little tired. Main issue with service relating to queuing at bars, temperamental experience with self service drinks areas. Poor relaying of tables in the restaurant, a much worse experience if dining at the second sitting. Good service and conversation from Mostafa &Team (pool bar), Hassan & Noradene (pop up/lobby bar) and Yassine (Guest Relations). Entertainment team were friendly and encouraged participation without pestering.

As a moroccan, I know a lot about agadir, the culture, how it was years ago and practically have been to almost al hotels. As an all inclusive hotel the food was great. Cons: Big room but very empty feeling. No coffeecorner or extra closet. My advise: add something to the room. We have a baby, so our day was determined by the baby. We told the housekeeping multiple times that because the baby sleeps to clean the room between 1100 and 1400 o'clock. We even got a verbal confirmation that this would be done. But after returning to the room, the room wasn't cleaned. This happened almost every day. The restaurant personnel didn't pay attention to us and found it better to give all the attention to the french and english tourists. We didn't mind it at first, but after they asked us to fill in a survey about the hotel, we suddenly existed and gotten the red carpet vip treatment. It was quite embarrassing to see this. The most disappointing thing was that besides the 24 7 alcohol being served was the pork being served. Being a muslim and morrocan, this was a new low for the country just to receive the small mommney of european tourists. I advise the hotel to stay true to your culture instead. Try to attract a new demographic like families with traditional values instead of middle-aged alcoholic Europeans. A halal resort would be a 100% succes because muslims in Europe are willing to pay big money for that.

This is a very big hotel (35 mins from airport) catering on an industrial scale, but they do it very well. Big food choice of high quality, much prepared while you wait. Great room size and view with regular fresh linen supply, plenty of hot water. Constant hotel cleaning, repaint and updates evident. A very well staffed hotel with motivated, well trained, and hard working personnel in all departments. Plenty of security officers on duty. Changeable beach towels and life guards make the two pools very comfortable. Good range of activities, waterpolo, darts, aquarobics, tennis, quizzes, table tennis, archery etc….Hotel is in a great location right by a beautiful, cleaned daily Atlantic coast beach with life guards. A super choice for families with two ages of children’s’ clubs.
Cons: Understandably, due to the size, but the noise in dining hall was/is excessive. We always ate outside on the balcony which was great.

Excellent selection of meals throughout the day. The catering staff really go all out to produce a huge selection of meals and desserts - very impressive. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Spacious rooms and lobby area to relax in. Good pools and beautifully kept grounds. Right on the beachfront. The restaurant staff, the cleaners and the doormen were all very attentive. Blackout curtains in the bedrooms were brilliant
Cons: The cleaner was so busy that she struggled to get to all the rooms and she needed more support. The children's playground could be bigger as it got busy quickly, and if there was an indoor play room for young children/ toddlers who are too young for the kids club this would be great for days when the weather isn't good.

Cons: Check in process was slow and we didn’t expect to have to pay the full amount on check-in as usually that’s done on checkout. People get up early to reserve sunbeds and despite signs saying not to, it’s not enforced. Tables weren’t reset quickly so it sometimes took time to find a table and then find cutlery.

Staff on checkout were rude and darn right attitude. We were never told that we had to return the towels or we would be charged 10 euros per towel. If we had been told this we would have done this. Both me and my wife were NEVER told. The staff at reception were rude and treated us like we were criminals. They made the security guard follow me to my car while I was loading luggage. The fact is their towels were in the hotel so if you think im stupid enough to pay 100 euros hahahahha.... I had this hotel booked in 2025 but have now cancelled this. Your loss. I do not reccomend it. Thw food was bad and the room was not cleaned every day

Overall it’s a decent hotel considering the price however there are many things that could be improved. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful though.
Cons: 1) Rooms are not soundproofed and the sounds from the hallways can be heard from the room. 2) The floor of our room was not washed properly. Even after I asked to rewash it, it was still a bit too dirty to be able to walk barefoot in the room. 3) Our room had a strong chemical smell when we checked in and during our stay I developed a rash which I believe could be related to the strong chemicals they use for cleaning. 4) Overall the hotel looked a bit tired and some of the furniture was slightly broken from heavy use. 5) Food was mediocre but at least it was possible to find some decent options every time.

Wonderful holiday with out four children aged 7-4. The hotel had everything we needed and we felt extremely well looked after during our stay. An abundance of food to suit different diets and preferences (and I’m vegan!) and so many activities and wonderful facilities. This is a great place for family, what we like the most was the location ( beach in front with hotel private space), the variety of the food and wine for the 4 meals was excellent and the hammam at the spa. My children were 10 and 14 so we had plenty to do also in agadir town istelf, as most attractions are within 15-20min drive from the hotel. the evening entertainment was great but perhaps more variety needed as it was dancing from the same crew 5 days in a row, they were amazing though but one show can be with a magician perhaps.
Cons: I honestly think paying for a safe is not acceptable giving the price we already pay per night, I heard many guests complaining about this. The main restaurant is also really noisy, we never got a chance to eat outside and the antares restaurant was booked out so i recommend booking outside peak holidays if you can. Finally the bed is really hard for a start hotel and the room decor needs more upgrade

There should be lifts in accommodation areas as it's not ideal to use staircases for people with difficulty. Restaurant buffet needs more vegetarian food and also all dishes must be labelled in detail so people are able to see what the meal is, this was very disappointing not knowing what the meal or dish is.

The faculties were very clean and we were very near the promenade and beach. There was a lot of variety to choose from for the meals. The service and ambience at the Moroccan restaurant was very good. There were some staff members that really tried to make the experiences fun (Mario, Abdou, Simo, Nordine). We so appreciated how kind and enthusiastic they were and how they put their best efforts in to create fun and inviting experiences
Cons: My husband got food poisoning eating spaghetti bolognese the last night there. This made it very hard travelling the next day. The fitness opportunities were mostly uninspiring. Certain staff members (e.g. Victoria) seemed to be barely interested in putting in their required time to offer Step, Stretching. The overall fitness opportunities were limited and disappointing overall. Also, the noise level in the cafeteria was unfortunate. We often wanted to eat outside but were bothered by the smoking and vaping.

The hotel was wonderful and the staff were so helpful and friendly, particularly in the restaurant and bar and all the entertainment staff were such fun and so enthusiastic. I didn't need them myself but I saw them helping less mobile people and being wonderful with children too. The atmosphere was so good and it rubbed off on all the holidaymakers from all different countries too. The food was exceptional, some of the best I have ever had in any hotel and have stayed in ranges from B & B's to 5 start hotels. The buffet was so varied and vast and fresh fish cooked changing daily, salads and theme nights. There literally was something for everyone. The hotel clean and the gardens lovely. Plentiful sunbeds and a great choice at lunch for food too. The hotel is set right on the beach and we were not hassled a firm no and you are not bothered at all. They were friendly and just trying to sell some things. It was a beautiful promenade and we also found some great restaurants for lunch. I will definitely recommend this hotel, actually already have and will one day visit again.

Lovely hotel, clean, affordable, well kept gardens, right by the beach, fairly good food (apart from A La Carte, wouldn’t bother again as service wasn’t great and it was basically the same food as buffet restaurant), great staff, hammam experience was wonderful and overall we had a great time. Shame the toddler pool was cold so we couldn’t use it and shame the heated pool was so deep as I couldn’t stand up and therefore couldn’t take my daughter in it without an inflatable. Overall would recommend!

The pools are the main attractions to this resort. The heated pool was great. The hotel was very clean overall. The garden is beautifully kept. The staff are amazing all around, they were always happy to help, and were very friendly.
Cons: The inside of the hotel is now looking tired and is in need of a refurbishment. In our room we observed curtains with holes, rusty balcony doors, old balcony furnitures, broken tiles in bathroom, no air conditioning even though our room was overly warm (we were told by reception that air conditioning was turned off in the whole hotel as it was winter now in Agadir). The food quality has gone down compared to our previous stay in 2019. Left over food from the day before reused in dishes the following day… The music played all day for the activities around the pool was awful and far too loud. No consideration at all for people who just wanted to relax in a peaceful environment.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing with great choice at breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack & dinner. The pools were cool but this was welcomed after sunbathing. No panic for sun loungers, plenty to go around. First time at an all inclusive and I was bit worried the food would be repetitive, I was pleasantly surprised. Taxi into Agadir was so cheap. A walk along the prom was lovely especially early morning or after dinner.

Have stayed at this hotel on 4 occasions & love it. There is always a great variety of food at all meals. The pool bar is also great for a late breakfast or lighter lunch. Great location & staff are always friendly
Cons: I think a quiet, child free lounge/bar would be a great addition to the Founty Beach Hotel

Amazing staff, Spacious rooms that had refrigerators which was a plus with small children and Housekeeping was great.
Cons: The childrens pool is very small, has no slides etc for kids to enjoy. The kids club is non existent, they didnt follow even one day of the ‘planned activities’ they market outside the kids club, they literally just take all the kids to the already very small kids pool which gets very overwhelming.

The pool area and our room were great. The staff was very friendly too. The food was good but we think there should have been more seafood.
Cons: We liked everything. We just think there should be a wider variety of food, especially seafood. The food was a bit repetitive. But those things didn't matter because we had a very good stay.

Great hotel on a beach Security in every corner and between Police patroling beach Spacious room If you want to be comfy in Morrocco- good hotel is a must in my opinion Aircon in room was very good and quiet Food: Marrocan corner next to Italian plus many more options

Fantastic experience. Staff were unbelievable. Nothing was too much trouble. Pool area and beach were amazing. Food had plenty of variety. Felt very safe. Definitely going back and would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends

They charged me twice hence the review. Also, it's great to help the environment with not having bottled water except the water from the machines made my son and I sick with diarrhea.

Well set out, large comfortable reception area. Well kept grounds with large pools and plenty of space
Cons: Entertainment was a bit the same every night as was the food. Also don’t like the way you have to put a deposit down for pool towels, ours were stolen so we lost our money.

The room is spacious and the view of the sea was beautiful. Pools were a good temperature and never too busy. Close to the beach with hotel sunbeds on the beach in a specific area with security and staff patrolling- this felt safe. The beach is beautiful. The food was okay, a good selection and tasty, but repetitive and not always hot. Drinks were good. Entertainment was not as normal during our trip due to the national mourning following the earthquake so can't comment on this. Daytime activities such as archery were fun but they need more supplies (only one bow and two arrows to share). We didn't leave the hotel expect to go to the beach so can't comment on the area.
Cons: We had to ask for the room floor to be cleaned when we arrived as it was very dirty. Seemed like the room had not been used in a long time. The bathroom had lots of black mould- likely due to the lack of ventilation in this room. Mould on the wall around the air conditioning unit. Scented soaps or something wedged into the air con unit made the room smell like flowers- bad for allergies, we asked for these to be removed.

Cons: Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by our stay here. We have never left a bad review before, but we do not want others making the same mistake we did by staying here. There were so many areas where the service and quality was poor. The food lacked variety and flavour- the vegetarian options were extremely limited, and the cooking process seemed very unhygienic. When making pasta, we watched the ‘chefs’ wash their utensils with merely a bit of water, their hands and a reused tissue, mixing between meat and vegetarian dishes. The meat was clearly cheap cuts, often overcooked and unseasoned. It was the same food every day, and one member of our party got food poisoning too! When we asked to see the doctor/nurse, they gave us a time for the next day, but then informed us she had left and was no longer available. Despite paying for the all inclusive package, the drink options were also severely limited. The only cocktails they made were using a pre-made over sugary soda mix and they wouldn’t do anything outside of their specific list. There was only one type of each wine, with no options, and it also tasted very poor quality. The rooms were also unhygienic, and cleaning was done very quickly and badly- the hairdryer was sticky, the floors were not sweeped, and the conditioner had clearly curdled and was out of date and not usable. Moreover, the room was really badly lit and lacking in furniture and amenities- not the quality you expect from a 4* hotel. All in all, despite some staff being friendly, and easy access to the beach being a bonus, there was generally a lack of customer service and professionalism. The poor quality does not compare to previous experiences of 4* resorts. We wouldn’t recommend this place.

Hotel at a very good level, clean, very good food, friendly hotel service. I highly recommend this hotel. Iberostar Founty Beach is one of the best hotels in Agadir!! What's more to write, I will come back here for sure 🙂

Staff friendly. Clean. Never went hungry, or thirsty, food and drink at all times of day Evening Entertainment wasn't bad, I've had worse :) Camels on the beach, never got bored of seeing them, bit wiffy though :)
Cons: Usual scramble early doors for sunbeds, not enough beds for accommodation, but that's normal I guess. Not great if you're not an early riser! Nothing much to walk to or do outside on the seafront, ie stalls, bars etc. Good job the hotel was so accommodating

Excellent location , very safe. Extremely friendly staff. Highly recommend this property.
Cons: Sometimes the tiles were slippery so be aware of this. The key cards failed a few times too and you had to walk all the way back to reception.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The area is very.clean and the garden well entertained.I liked the quality and the variety of the food except the patisserie. The location next to the beach was a great thing. . The parents' bed is big enough clean and comfortable.
Cons: The pool was a little bit crowded. Perhaps because of the season. The water not filtered all the day. In the afternoon it was not clean as in the morning. The children's bed was not confortable at all.

Great location on the beach. Beach is great. A private section and overall, the beach is not too busy. Hotel is nice. Food is very good for buffet standards. The vegetarian concept is not clear with much mixing of spoons etc especially in the pool bar. Evening entertainment is really good with a mix of singers on the main bar and dance shows in the theatre. Pools were too deep to enjoy. Not sure why you would have both pools 135cm upwards. Would make more sense to have one shallower so that the tiny kids pool was not overused. Finding sun beds was quite often an issue. Toilets in the reception were sometimes horrible but generally the place is clean. To note, Agadir tends to be cloudy in the mornings - apparently mainly in July. We did have a couple of cloudy mornings. 30 mins from the airport. Nice holiday.

Cons: Perhaps a bit of improvement at the level of snack choices would be appreciated. One other thing that could help especially for people with food allergies is to list ingredients
