From check in to check out, we had a horrible experience at this property. The girl at the reception was incredibly rude and unhelpful. We asked for bottled water from both the reception and breakfast staff 5 times before finally receiving some and paying for it. At the time of arrival we were planning to stay 2 nights and ended up leaving the morning after our first night. One of the sinks didn’t even work in the room, very dated and felt like the entire property isn’t clean or well-kept. Huge disappointment from a fake “5 star hotel”.

Cons: Personalen var bedrövligt dåliga på engelska, till och med dem i receptionen. Detta ledde tyvärr till flera missförstånd och frustration. Vår villa var dåligt städad när vi kom, en toalett var trasig och en bidé ur funktion. Det luktade svagt avlopp och det fanns spindelnät i hörnen. En solstol var trasig och trots att vi klagade vid två tillfällen byttes den aldrig ut. Maten var okej men inget att rekommendera. Det såg ut att finnas gott om serveringspersonal men vi kände oss ändå inte tillräckligt sedda (förutom en vänlig man som kämpade på).

Le Widiane Resort est un havre de paix extraordinaire. Un très bel hôtel avec de grands espaces construits dans l'esprit de l'artisanat local. La vue sur le lac est omni présente (l'hôtel est à flanc de colline sur le bord du lac). Le personnel est attentif et d'une grande gentillesse. Nous avions une suite sur le lac au 3eme étage, c'était magnifique (Un réveil inoubliable avec le levée de soleil sur le lac depuis son lit ...). Une mention spéciale sur les 2 piscines ... grandes piscines à débordement avec, pour la piscine du bas, une ligne d'eau qui se prolonge dans le bleu du lac ... vraiment magnifique

Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit

Cons: Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist schon sehr abgewohnt und in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten im Prinzip ein schönes Zimmer mit schönem Ausblick auf den (leider schon sehr trocken gefallenen) Stausee, auch mit einem modernen Bad. Aber sämtliches Mobiliar und auch das Bad waren sehr abgewohnt und durch das viele Braun etwas altbacken. Wirklich störend war allerdings, dass es durchweg nicht sauber war, vom Eingang bis zum eigenen Balkon war alles klebrig und mit Fingerspuren/ Flecken versehen. In keinem Fall echte fünf Sterne, eher 3 -4 Sterne Pauschalhotel für Gruppenreisen. Wir waren froh, nur eine Nacht für eine Zwischen Übernachtung gebucht zu haben. Aber es war auch sehr günstig und ich hatte schon ein wenig damit gerechnet, in der Region gibt es aber keine Alternative.

Cons: The parking place needs a cover for the cars. Your car is in the sun all day and it can get pretty hot. Some shade would be a big help and its should not be that hard to fix this.

On a l’impression que plus le personnel est gradé et plus ils snobent les clients, à commencer par le patron qui semble avoir oublier que son hôtel vit grâce à ces clients justement. Gros manque de formation au niveau de personnel aussi. L’hôtel est loin des standards d’un 5 étoiles même pour le Maroc. Trop cher pour ce que c’est.

Our room was amazing! The grounds of the hotel are so beautiful it is insane. We had a patio that looked out over the lake and I will never forget that view. Everything was spotless in the room and it was also very quiet. The one downfall is that the AC didn't get cold enough, so we were a little warm when we were trying to sleep. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. It is a delight.

The pools were also beautiful, and the staff were generally helpful. The biggest issue is accessibility to drinks and drinking water. For people traveling in a foreign country, and one as hot as Morocco, access to bottled water is a must. The hotel has amazing views because it is on top of a hill, and the only bottled water available is all the way down the hill near the lake, requiring a golf cart ride to get any. The front desk really should have a supply of bottled water on hand all the time. Similarly, drinks at the upper pool were only available by being transported up from the restaurant, and should just be available for poolside service. So definitely some room for improvement, but was still a lovely stay.

Locatie is adembenemend mooi, ontbijt was heel erg veelzijdig en kamers waren ontzettend ruim, personeel is heel aardig. Zwembad is top, in de zomer heel rustig, kind heeft genoten. Restaurant heeft heerlijk eten. Het lijkt op de serie White Lotus qua sfeer.

Lumière dans le restaurant gastronomique dans le salon privé ne marche pas. Service du bistrot du lac à revoir Nous avions demandé une chaise haute pour ma fille de un an, je ne m'exprimer pas dessus, vous avez juste à regarder la photo ci-joint. Nous avions attendu aussi très longtemps tellement longtemps que c'est nous-mêmes qui sommes allés demander les cartes. Service au bord de la piscine à revoir également plus de 15 minutes d'attente pour amener un verre de lait et une fois que le serveur a ramené le verre de lait, je lui demande un soda, il ne revient même pas au bout de une heure, je leur fais signe pour lui rappeler qu'ils m'ont oublié et devinez quoi ? il m'avait bien oublié. Et pour conclure pour le service au bord de la piscine et le bistrot du lac, il n'y avait pas masse de monde alors, je n'imagine pas si ils sont pleins à craquer . Manque de réactivité du personnel ,d'anticipation et d'organisation.

The location and the massage in the spa.

Cons: The room wasn't the one I'd booked. There was no seating on the balcony. The aircon wasn't working properly, meaning it was too hot to sleep at night. There were mosquitoes getting into the room, despite all windows and doors being closed. The windows were dirty and the standard of cleaning could be better (hand marks on walls and mirrors, splashes on backs of doors). TV in lounge area of suite not working. No bedside lights. No towel rails next to sinks in toilet areas. Light switches next to bed didn't work on one side. We were in room 6. The food in the restaurant was mediocre. We ordered a chicken dish and a lamb shank. Both arrived cold. We were both very hungry, so ate them. There were no fresh vegetables served with either dish. The lamb shank appeared to have been reheated in a microwave, as it was tough on the outside and cold near the bone. Utterly disappointed. The crème brulee desert hadn't seen a blow torch to make the topping solid. Breakfast was better, coffee machine was old and slow.

Magnifique vue ! L’hôtel est très bien situé juste à côté du lac avec des voitures de golfs qui vous déposeront. L'hôtel est dans l’ensemble bien équipé avec un staff à l’écoute et au service. Mention spécial à Rachid et l’accueil qui sont réactifs et a l’écoute.

Cons: Le petit dej à mon sens pas assez qualitatif… les 2 machines à cafés en panne ou faire la queue pour le café. Le buffet à revoir. La restauration du soir : dommage qu’il n’y est pas des spécialités Marocaine ! Il n’y a que 2 tajines… On aimerait voir Couscous, El Fissa, Seffa, Tanjia…

La manager est arrivée et lui a demande de sortir le dossier. resultat, le justificatif etait bien dans mon dossier mais il concernait une autre cliente qui venait de faire le checkout ! personne ne m'a presente des excuses ni meme proposé un café ou de l'eau en guise d'excuse! Resultat : je suis partie fachee et les recepcionniste y compris la manager s'en fichaient royalement. Ca ne les a pas perturbé plus que cela. le buffet du soir est abominable. Les plats ne sont pas du tout a la hauteur d'un hotel de ce standing. Tres mediocre.

C’est toujours un plaisir d’y aller. À moins de trois heures de Casablanca, c’est un véritable havre de paix. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal, avec une magnifique vue sur la rivière . Le cadre est paisible, l’atmosphère poétique et propice à la détente. On y est bien accueilli, bien servi… Tout le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours souriant et disponible. C’est un endroit parfait, aussi bien pour les enfants que pour les parents en quête de repos et de dépaysement. J’ai été très satisfait de mon séjour et je recommande vivement cet établissement. The location and the view was amazing, but the service unfortunately not. We had to move from one vila to the other, which was not an improvement but more of a downgrade. It costed us a lot of time and effort because we were already unpacked. At the new Vila, the pool was full of insects. We wanted to go back to the first villa, but they said it was booked by other clients. The next day another staff member confirmed it was not booked at all. So that was a bad experience with staff lying about it. We were planning to go back with the family this summer, for a few days, but will not go there anymore. Dinner was good, but breakfast was disapointing.

Disappointing Stay – Not Up to the Mark We stayed at this property for just one night as part of our 8-night tour across Morocco — and unfortunately, it turned out to be the most disappointing hotel of the trip. It’s a large property, but clearly aged and poorly maintained. Right from the start, things felt off. The only ice machine in the entire hotel wasn’t working — not great, especially in the middle of summer. Our room was uncomfortably warm, and there was no way to control the temperature. We tried calling reception and housekeeping several times for help, but no one ever picked up. To add to the frustration, service at the restaurant was just as indifferent. After sitting around for 15 minutes with no one approaching us, I finally had to walk up to the lady at the reception desk just to get someone’s attention. All in all, a stay that didn’t meet expectations at all — especially compared to the other lovely places we experienced during the rest of our Moroccan journey.

On the positive side, the receptionists, pool staff, and voiturette drivers were kind and helpful — most of them are locals and did their best with the limited resources. The location is good, the pool was nice, and the view over the lagoon was beautiful.

Cons: Very limited menu. Room service was terrible — they claimed they had no tea or coffee, which is ridiculous, especially in Morocco and in a supposed 5-star hotel. This place is not 5-star by any standard. The entire building, from reception to rooms, smelled like sewage. Luckily, we booked lake view rooms. The Atlas rooms face a giant rock — awful view. Breakfast was the only decent part. But the service was painfully slow. We waited almost two hours for our food and another hour just to be served. Totally understaffed. Not worth it. Be aware they only give watter on demand in the first night only ! I don t imagine myself coming back again

Hôtel était privatisé pour un groupe de touriste et délaissé pour le reste des clients. La majorité des produits (verre, cuillère..) et service était indisponible .. Bref on n’y retournera pas! This place is a total farce… do not book! Unsafe My friend had a medical emergency (chemical burn to eye) and was left in pain for hours. We asked for medical help, first aid or a taxi to a local hospital/pharmacy and were ignored or told not available. It was only when a tour rep from another company saw her we got the help we needed. We repetitively asked to see the manager and were told he was out for lunch, when he finally arrived it became clear his reception staffs poor customer service was something trained from top down. Rude and disrespectful and apparently “doesn’t need advice on how to run a hotel”. Adding insult to literal injury, the hotel was constantly running out of stock, we couldn’t book the spa and both rooms had smashed windows. The ONLY time the hotel looked like a functioning establishment was our final morning where they had a press event in which we were told to get out of the shots by the pool. The manager then send a plate of BBQ over to us to apologise for leaving our friend scared and in agony… embarrassing. Do not believe the photos / posts on their social media, looks lovely… unsafe and managed appallingly. If you are a remote hotel, medical assistance available onsite should be a MUST.

We had a terrible experience at Widiane Resort. Unfortunately one of our party members had a medical emergency and the resort was completely ill equipped to deal with it. There is no medical professional on site, no one has first aid training and not even a complete first aid kit. The staff, in particular the manager was incredibly rude and treated us very poorly. Whilst the location is beautiful and the rooms spacious (and there were a few stand out staff members) it’s impossible to recommend the resort. It could not be described as 5 star, the food and drinks menus kept running out of stock, they couldn’t cater for any dietary requirements and spoke to us very poorly. Be cautious of any positive online reviews and videos you see, as they were filming content whilst we were there (and aggressively told to move out the way as they did so) so will not be genuine people but paid to advertise the resort. Please re think if you are considering booking.

Cons: One of the nights there was a large group and clearly the hotel cannot handle these bookings as the service was very poor including food at the restaurant which was inedible and complete chaos at breakfast the next day. Rooms not up to standard - most electricity sockets loose. Shower floor tiles broken, could easily injure oneself. Looking at reviews more closely complaints about food, level of facilities are not new and yet staff acted surprised when we told them about this... they just brush you off by saying "yes, yes" clearly without any intention of taking on any feedback. Its a pity especially considering the money that is paid. It could be a fantastic resort if run by anyone who's been out of the area for a few days and actually interested in doing their job, including safeguarding the employees there.....

Beautiful hotel grounds but the front desk staff and restaurant staff could use some additional training. We arrived with our guide who was allowed, for the first time he mentioned, to drive up to the hotel. Usually he had been stopped at the lower level to drop guests. I am glad that he came in to check on us after unloading the luggage because I had been standing at reception for a while without being acknowledged at all. He came in and spoke French to the staff who then checked us in. We waited for our luggage to arrive in our room and then decided to try the hotel restaurant across the street for dinner. We took the golf cart service down the hill. Commuication was difficult because the staff at the restaurant speaks French while we speak Arabic, Spanish, and English. We were able to point to menu items (also written in English) so it worked out. Dinner was okay, not great. The steak was not tender at all and in fact very chewy. It also started to rain and got really windy...but it was just as we finished. We went to sign for the bill, but there was some discussion in French among the staff who said we had to pay there and not charge it to the room. Reception had not asked us to put a card on file so we paid at the restaurant after a prolonged period because they had to find an employee who understood us, then find a credit card machine and then the wifi wasn't working well. We went back to find a peacock at our door, which was startling but also a happy coincidence. It was our wedding anniversary trip and there were peacocks on the grounds of the location where we were married years ago. We got some time at the pool before the rain came in for the rest of our stay. Breakfast is included and had lots of options with table service to bring omlets and crepes. We went to the bar in the evening and again had to wait for service. A staffer who had helped my husband find the fitness center earlier had someone come to take our order once we told him that we still hadn't been served. It was very dark outside and there was no lighting or candles on the tables. It was so dark that I had to use my phone to see the menu. Later, once more people came outside, the staff did add lights to the tables. We ended up going to the inside bar which had an Asian theme and purple decor. We ordered room service the next day due to the rain instead of going out for lunch. It took a prolonged period of time to get our order but I figured lots of people were ordering in because of the rain. The major issue was bug bites on the first night. I'd fallen asleep in my clothes and woke up in the middle of the night to shower and was itching...on my FACE. Bugs had bitten me on my lip, cheek and by my eyebrow. My husband also had a bite on his nose. We had not opened the doors or windows for very long so I have no idea what bit us. I did tell the reception desk about it and showed him photos when we checked out and he implied that it was a local bug, but didn't say anything beyond be sure to give a review of reception. There was no apology, sense of concern, or anything. The swelling from the bug bites did go down, mostly, by the time we checked out. That was my first time in life ever getting a bug bite on my lip.

I stayed with our tour group for one night and enjoyed the view and accomodations. Rooms are large with a spacious bathroom. We tried a dinner buffet and enjoyed the offering. There's a large exercise room with dumb bells, tread mill and exercise bicycle. However the weight machine had a frayed weight cable, no seat adjustment and an awkward grip arrangement. Guests sun bathed around the swimming pool but few swam. With evening temperatures near 10° C the water is well chilled. I can see how some guests found the service uneven. One in our tour group went through a half hour ordeal with the room TV. First off the room had no TV remote. Then the one provided didn't work. Then hotel staff spent a half hour trying to synch it to the flat screen TV.

Cons: It is in no way 5 stars or even 4 stars our stay was nothing short of appalling and shocking. AVOID PLEASE UNLESS YOU WANT TO JOIN THE MANY MANY COMPLAINERS WE WITNESSED. Firstly the AC is a complete joke. The control panel is clearly not synced up to the room it's obviously a central system it in no way matches. It was cold during our stay and the room still wasn't cool. Multiple guests complained. I stayed at significantly cheaper places with fantastic AC. So onto the list of problems. We arrived late their parking is on street not in a complex so miles away then they golf cart you up the hill, we arrived no spaces along the road so were very far away from the entrance, wait to check in as someone complaing before us also someone getting their card fixed (which happened to us nearly everytime we left the room it stopped working). After a long drive we were hungry so were directed to their buffet for dinner. Which at 400 each is very expensive. We were approached in the middle of eating after it took us half an hour to be served drinks asking for payment. About 10 minutes into eating! Was told to pay cash as they needed it in cash I only had 300 so they took that and payed the rest by card. I asked why I couldn't pay by card or charge to the room but was given multiple replies. So super dodgy. Was shocked. Was up during the night due to heat. But it was only one night. We spoke to the manager in the morning. Apologies about AC restaurant, offer of a great deal if we stayed another night. So we decided to spend another night the last night of our holiday, what a mistake!!! Room was nice although a common issue is timed lights in the bathroom. Why a luxury hotel needs to save money on lighting I have no idea but you are plunged into darkness after a minute. So you have to sit in darkness and then get move in the pitch black till the motion sensor registers you. A bit of a health and safety nightmare.

The facility itself is stunning. The design, decor, and overall atmosphere are incredibly calming and peaceful. It’s a beautiful, well-thought-out space that really feels like a retreat. Breakfast was authentically Moroccan in the best way. While options were limited, the quality and flavors were excellent—we genuinely enjoyed it. The price for the resort would have been fair if the service matched the setting. Unfortunately, that’s where everything fell apart

Cons: Service, service, service... The staff seriously needs proper training on how to be welcoming and attentive. We booked the Ambassador Suite, and were told that only two tiny bottles of water (0.10 EUR each) were included—for the entire stay. When we asked for more, we were told, “Sorry, we only provide those on the first day.” That kind of response at this level of accommodation is disappointing, to say the least. We inquired about half-board or full-board options—only to be told there are none. It’s surprising for a resort located far from the city not to offer dining packages. Getting around the resort was also a hassle. Usually at places like this, golf carts are readily available to help guests get to and from their rooms and other areas. Here, every time we asked for a cart, we were told to come to reception ourselves —not exactly convenient as our suite is in a different building located 100 meters UPHILL. Another note: the resort has a couple of peacocks on the grounds. While they’re beautiful to look at during the day, their screaming at night was loud and honestly scary—especially for our baby. Trying to calm her down every time the peacocks screeched after 7 PM was not fun. We also booked a hammam and massage package for 1000 MAD per person, expecting something truly relaxing and luxurious. But the experience was below average—not at all what you’d expect from a resort or a Moroccan hammam done by a local specialist. It felt rushed, unremarkable, and definitely not worth the premium price. And one last detail that really summed up the lack of attention: our dinner tray from the first night (ordered via room service) was left outside our door for two full days, right until checkout. No one bothered to clear it.

When cleaning the room, maids collected all towels and didn't leave new ones, had to request again. The towels themselves are spurred and very used. During weekend loads of people staying and breakfast looks like hunger games - no cups, no glasses, utencils or napkins, too little food and drinks available for so many people - when something is brought people run to be able to get it - total chaos. On a workday when there are only 10 people having breakfast it is ok. Terraces not working, cleaning works ongoing during the day so you cannot use them. Indoor pool closed. Massage - waste of money, for 70 eur you get very poor quality rubbing. Overall the hotel needs repairs all over the place. There is mold in bathrooms. You need to be careful for when paying for additional services at reception as they do many of mistakes when booking and counting so you need to double check the prices. + Rooms are big, beds are huge!

La chambre magnifique avec vue sur le lac, très spacieuse, très grand lit ! Les restaurants succulant. Les piscines avec une magnifique vue. L'hôtel permet un lâche prise total. Le personnel pas très aimable et coopératif pour un hôtel 5 étoiles c'est dommage car tout le reste était super. On nous a indiqué qu'il n'y avait pas de service de bar à notre arrivé avant 19h... Nous avons été obligé d'aller dans une supérette, surprenant pour un hôtel de ce standing.

Bonsoir, ce message s’adresse à la direction du Windiane Resort. 24 mars 2015 J’ai réservé une chambre DOUBLE SUPÉRIEURE sur Booking il y plus d’un mois, tel que ma réservation l’indique À mon arrivée on m’a assigné une Chambre Vue sur Atlas qui en fait est un mur de cimenterie. J’ai demandé correction et qu’on me donne la chambre que j’avais réservé, la jeune fille de la réception indique qu’elle n’a rien d’autre de disponible, alors que je peux constater de visu que c’est faux. J’insiste pour parler au manager et elle me dit qu’il n’y a personne d’autre sur place ou de disponible, et qu’elle ne peut rien faire de plus. CECi EST INCONCEVABLE D’autant plus que sur Booking on annonce toujours pour le même soir des chambres avec vue disponibles. La personne responsable?? refuse de me donner une chambre supérieure même si j’accepte de payer un surplus. J’attends un explication SVP ou une compensation. Daniel Harvey

Cons: Je suis déçue de mon séjour dans cet établissement qui nest pas au standard d'un 5 étoiles. Plusieurs éléments ont laissé à désirer: Premièrement, la machine à café du petit déjeuner était hors service durant tout notre séjour. De plus, des odeurs persistantes de nourriture étaient présentes dans la salle de cinéma, rendant l’expérience désagréable. Côté installations, les toilettes pour femmes du fitness étaient sans eau, sans lumière et sans brosse à WC, un manque d’entretien évident. Les machines de sport étaient pour la plupart débranchées, trois d'entre elles ne fonctionnaient pas et une faisait un bruit assourdissant, rendant la séance de sport pénible. Concernant les animations, AUCUNE activité n’était proposée en basse saison. Pour un hôtel de cette catégorie, il serait normal d’avoir au moins un groupe de musique une fois par semaine pour assurer une ambiance convenable. En chambre : ni shampoing ni gel douche disponibles, j’ai dû en demander chaque soir et on me ramenait peu chaque fois pour cause de pénurie. Les serviettes de bain étaient déchirées, tachées et rêches au toucher. Aucun peignoir n’était fourni, ce qui est pourtant une norme dans les hôtels de ce standing. Aucune bouteille d'eau n'était offerte dans les chambres ; à 40 dirhams la bouteille, c est de l'abus, surtout quand on sait que l'eau est généralement fournie dans tous les hôtels 5 étoiles. L'éclairage était également un problème : certains couloirs étaient plongés dans l'obscurité, et les bruits matinaux dus au passage nous réveillaient systématiquement. Enfin, l’accès aux activités nautiques était catastrophique : la pente pour y accéder était dangereuse, avec des objets encombrants de chaque côté de la pente. De plus, l'accès au sauna et au hammam était payant, alors que ces services sont généralement partiellement inclus dans les 5 étoiles et incitent à découvrir les autres prestations du spa. Des améliorations urgentes sont nécesssaires.

Cons: La limpieza y mantenimiento de la habitación. Al limpiarnos la habitación no nos vaciaron el cubo de basura que estaba lleno. Salía agua de la ducha encharcando el baño, llamamos a recepción y al venir a cambiar los tacos de la bisagra, los dejaron en el suelo del baño. Además de estar llena de hongos. Además nos hicieron pagar 2 habitaciones debido a que mi mujer había nacido en Marruecos, aunque llevase desde los 3 años viviendo en Barcelona. Jamás nos trajeron la tarjeta de la segunda habitación que nos hicieron pagar, tras decirnos que fuéramos a descansar después del largo viaje en coche y que nos la traerían más tarde cuando acabasen el papeleo. Una tarde, mientras tomábamos un café tranquilamente en Kharma, dos trabajadores se empezaron a gritar fuertemente y a golpear detrás de la puerta, la cual estaba abierta, causándonos un gran susto y momentos de mucha angustia. En el bufet, mala gestión en algunos temas como por ejemplo el zumo de naranja, el cual solamente había una jarra, y a cada rato los huéspedes tenían que buscar un camarero para pedir que lo rellenaran. Seguramente poniendo 2 o 3 jarras evitarían este problema constante. Resumiendo, un lugar muy bonito y en general los trabajadores muy amables, pero con todos estos problemas que tuvimos y teniendo que pagar 2 habitaciones, estamos muy descontentos al ser un resort de lujo.

Have been staying at the resort for 5 nights in early Feb, 2025 (including over Valentines Day, 2025) while pursuing shooting sports in the area. Staff has been attentive, friendly and courteous even with my English and broken French. Room is comfortable, food is fine to good, bed is very supportive and I love my patio/terrace above the pool. The best part by far has been my daily massage at the spa with Siham who seems to have magic powers! She speaks very good English and understood my issues, particularly in my neck and shoulders. Siham uses a unique blend of techniques varying from traditional deep tissue to Thai stretching and everything in-between. She has a smooth, firm stroke that is both relaxing and powerful, focusing on pressure points and using her elbows and forearms to great effect. She is genuinely working hard versus just going through the motions of a typical hotel spa massage. Her attention to detail makes an hour feel like 90 minutes and I come away feeling both relaxed and rejuvenated. It’s a huge bonus for both client and masseuse to work together every day over the course of a week - a deep connection is made and the treatments can be more targeted … I truly feel Siham has put me back together after each day afield and I cannot thank her enough for her extra efforts on my behalf. Thank you Siham!

If you spend that per you don't expect to be told that you get 2 coffee pods and 2 bottles of water per stay no matter the length,when I requested add'l pods as we were on our 3rd night, I was told to order room service £!+sc, same for water. Given that anyone staying at this hotel has had a very long car ride no matter where you come from the reception staff are pretty bad (well at least 75%of the people I encountered). When we arrived after a 4.5hour drive the woman at reception was already being rude to the man who was just checking in (I've already told you this!!) is what she said in an aggressive tone. my experience with started at that level and went down. We asked to move rooms as despite being 50% full and £!!!pp AND Hotel.com membership entitling me to a free upgraded we still had to pay for a room that was facing a mountain and temp of a fridge, we moved with the help of the only helpful receptionist, but the 1st recp. misinformed us deliberately & told us we couldn't change until 8pm, we moved b4 3pm. I felt unwell & asked to take the remains of my dinner to the room & was told I could even though room service trays were sent from there, the cafe where you have lunch works on a you arrive they leave basis so a minimum wait is 15mins, inc for you bill, some guests can sign to room, some cant, they dont tell you why.you have to eat in 3 different places. Breakfast great, couldn't be better, restaurant hit miss

Место чудесное, на берегу очень красивого озера, окруженного горами. Отель на нескольких уровнях по склону, с очень красивой местной архитектурой, башенками и т.п., по территории вверх-вниз по склону возят электро-машинки, даже это предусмотрели, молодцы! Номера отличные, просторные, удобные, большая ванная, большая удрбная кровать, большой балкон с видом, где можно зависать надолго. Несколько ресторанов на территории, реально очень вкусная еда. У самого озера стоянка для лодок, рекомендую путешествие по озеру - обязательно! .

Cons: В отеле проблемы с персоналом. Персонал абсолютно не заинтересован в гостях. Приведу несколько ситуаций. Официает на ужине (Meryem Karim по чеку) вел себя просто дико, откровенно хамил, закономерно остался без чаеввых. Забронировали на ресепшене заранее прогулку на озере на кораблике, в последний момент оказалось, что брони нет, одна лодка занята, другая сломалась.... Долго ругались, переносить некуда, нам уже уезжать, требовали администратора или владельца. К счастью, вопрос в итоге как_то решили (лодок на озере реально много). Уборщицы почему-то никак не могли принести нам третье полотенце (мы жили втроем), решали в итоге через ресепшен. Ужасно, вобщем, подпортило впечатления от замечательного отеля, так бы оценка была 10!

Het hotel gelegen op een schitterende locatie bovenop de berg. Het uitzicht vanuit de prachtige kamer was adembenemend. Het ontbijt was uitstekend; de Marokkaanse msemmen vond mijn vrouw uitzonderlijk lekker en de omelet was voortreffelijk. Daarnaast was het personeel uiterst behulpzaam en attent. De manager was er betrokken bij de gasten. Hij is een ontzettend vriendelijke man die er scherp op toeziet dat zijn gasten aan niets ontbreekt.

Cons: We dachten dat er geen overgordijnen waren, maar achteraf bleek er een rolscherm te zijn dat je van binnenuit naar beneden kon doen. Dit ontdekten we pas na ons vertrek😂. Verder was het een fantastisch verblijf

Overall the hotel was awesome but had a few quirks that prevent me from giving five stars. Pros: Breakfast was amazing with stunning views of the area. Hotel had several activities including paddle boat rentals, kayaks, and several pools. Staff were incredibly friendly. Cons: The indoor pool that was advertised as "warm" was freezing. "King" bed was two twins pushed together. Lunch and dinner were good but not what I would expect based on the price (wasn't amazing). Service was very friendly but everything was slower than expected. For example, we asked for laundry service, but they took two hours to pick up the laundry and then 36 hours to return it clean. We asked for towels but they only brought up two after 30 minutes (we are a family of four). Room service delivered some of the food hot, some warm, and some cold.

The room was lovely, the gym nice, the breakfast delicious (cuttet fruits and good espresso would be nice!). I only find it expensive that you have to pay extra for the sauna - in european hotels it’s included, such as the pools. And the indoor pool was ice cold! I was shooked! I expect a Wellness Hotel to have warm indoor pools! Nevertheless, a lovely stay. I would definitely come back and hope for a Little bit change and more better stay. Thank you.

Le 1er soir, tous nos plats (3) était execissevement salés, nous n'étions pas les seuls à réclamer, j'ai même eu un malaise à cause de la nourriture.. Nous avons payé un thé à 80Dh. Le 2eme soir, j'ai eu un tagine de poulet sans sauce.. Le poulet est à priori grillé, puis déposé dans le tagine avec quelques olives.. Dommage que la restauration ne correspond nullement aux standards de l'hôtel..

The view from the pool was a great place to relax. Rooms very spacious. Breakfast was good.

Cons: Villa was disappointing - did not look like the pictures on the website. The rooms were sparsely decorated, tired and not particularly clean. One room was set up without a duvet. Poor evening selection for vegetarians. There was no veggie option on the dinner menu so we were offered tomato spaghetti instead. The next day we spoke to the manager, to give them advance notice and see if there was something else the kitchen could do for the second night, however we were told there wasn’t. Service in the restaurant was slow and chaotic. Gym equipment was broken. Overall bad value for money. Clearly the resort had to be very impressive but it feels tired and neglected now.

Cons: Des informations érronées permanent. Nous avons réservé un SPA pour toutes la famille (3) et la réception n'a pas réservé assez de temps alors qu'un de nous avons pu profitez du SPA. Quand nous avons réservé un transfer pour l'hotel il était à 950 MAD et pour le retour avec le meme chauffeur et véhicule à 1200 MAD. Nous avons fait une réclamation mais n'avons eu aucun retour.

Wunderschöne Anlage mit einem grandiosen Blick auf den Stausee und das gegenüberliegende Bergmassiv. Man fühlt sich wie am Ende der Welt. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Bad ebenso. Sauberkeit im Detail verbesserungswürdig. Wunderschöne Terrasse!

Cons: Personal sehr freundlich, aber unstrukturiert und schnell überfordert abends im Restaurant, ebenso beim Frühstück. Kaffeemaschine war sehr störanfällig.

I came here with my daughter and son in law to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. From start to finish I could not fault the location it was stunning! The lady on reception really looked after my family and we are very greatful to her, she made our experience for us

Cons: The staff were slow and careless. We dreaded most evenings in the restaurant. One evening we waited 40 minutes for a cheesecake, and asked a waiter where it was to his response was oh we forgot to put it through - and we were still charged for it. Every evening we were given soup before our meals which is a lovely gesture but 3 of the 5 nights we stayed we got our soup before our drinks which may not sound terrible to most but I personally enjoy to have a drink before my meal arrives. Overall, as a family we were super disappointed with the service in the evenings such a shame as it’s such a beautiful place.

The location of this establishment is incredible! The views are amazing, especially by both pools along with the views from the bedroom. The lady on reception was amazing could not fault her, she spoke amazing English and was incredible helpful and friendly she made a true effort with us everyday. The manager was brilliant and always helpful, friendly and welcoming. He even organised the football to be put on the big screen at certain times of the day for us. Sadly I cannot remember their names but I really hope they receive this feedback. If it wasn’t for the two members of your team above mentioned our only positive of our experience would be the location.

Cons: I am very sad to write this but the staff whilst we were there were terribly slow and not helpful at all. Most days I waited over half an hour for a drink by the pool and ended up going and getting it myself most days. The poolside service surprisingly enough was actually better than the restaurant service in the evenings which is crazy as you can read we were not impressed by the poolside service. I cannot believe this is rated 5* in my opinion this is a 3*. The service we received was not what we were expecting for the amount we paid for the two week stay we had which is super upsetting. We paid an awful lot of money to stay here and we are deviated that we picked this establishment we could have gone somewhere else for half the price and got much better service. We always provide feedback and it is never negative but we cannot fail that this establishment’s location is 5* resort if you want great views and terrible service then this is the place for you. My advice would be that you train the team to be able to provide you with 5* service like it is described online. Most evenings we would order two beers at a time because it would be painful to try and get someone’s attention for a second drink so we learnt to over order to be able to enjoy our meals together and not be sat waiting for a drink. Majority of our time here we watched the team standing around together or sitting on their phones hardly looking up at any of the guests walking by. We sat outside the bar one evening and there was poo everywhere all over the outdoor tables and pathway’s we could not believe it. Most days we had to request water in our room and would just be left with ONE small 330ml bottle to last us for the full day, I believe when you are in a country where you cannot drink the tap water we should have been provided with much more water than we were.

Cons: This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They charge heavily, which is normal as a 5* hotel, but you get 0 service and 0 customer friendliness at this place. Our shower constantly flooded the whole bathroom and they did nothing about it. They didn’t even offer a new room or any compensation after making several complaints about it several days in a row. The rooms are full of bugs as well and they’re worn out, not like what the pictures are showing. The Safran restaurant (which is the only place you can get dinner other than roomservice) is insanely overpriced for mid to low quality food. The restaurant manager seems to hate his job and feels superior over all guests. The waiting time is about 1h30 so make sure you schedule plenty of time if you would like to go there for dinner. All gym equipment is broken, except for the dumbells. I told the man working at the reception about it and all he said wad: ‘Yes I know’. The keycards stopped working every single day, even though we didn’t put them with our phones like the reception staff was accusing us off. We tried to get a refund of part of our stay and the reception told us we would have to email a manager because they can’t do anything about it. After trying to get in touch with both managers multiple times, they just keep blankly ignore you. I have honestly never experienced such poor service, let alone at a 5* hotel. Stay away from this place at all cost.

Ce que nous avons aimé concernant le petit déjeuné. Une large de produits de qualité, une possibilité de déguster des plats chauds à la demande ( omelette, œuf au plat, etc...). des produits locaux à découvrir. La chambre spacieuse une vue extraordinaire, personnel souriant et discret.

Cons: Le petit bémol, frais de room service pour profiter du petit déjeuner en chambre. La restauration, seulement une possibilité en fonction de l'horaire et peut de possibilité de se restaurer en pleine journée voir boire un verre.

Cons: Het was uitgestorven hierdoor waren er niet meerdere restaurants open maar telkens 1 en wat op de kaart stond was er vaak niet. We zijn van kamer moet ruilen vanwege lawaai vanuit het dak en water overlast. Nieuwe kamer was maar half klaar. 2 nachten stroom uitval waardoor de noodverlichting in kamer aangaat. Zit je dan in een verlichte kamer. Adequaat handelen op deze opmerkingen helaas. 5 sterren behandeling hebben we niet gehad

L'emplacement et les chambres spacieuses

Cons: Personnel à la recéption mal accueillants et non professionnels . Ma chambre m'a été remise à 18h car elle était soit disant pas prête alors que je suis arrivée à 15h30 après 4h de route avec deux enfants en bas âge . On m'a tout simplement demandé d'attendre et qu'on pouvait rien faire pour moi sans me donner une heure précise de check in ni même m'offrir un verre d'eau pour mes enfants ou me diriger minimum vers un restau pour boire ou manger avec mes propres moyens ! Franchement très pathetique sans aucun sens commercial ni humain ... je suis très déçue alors que ma résa a été effectuée un mois avant mon arrivée Le soir silence radio ! Mm pas de spectacle ou d'animation on s'ennuie dans la chambre mm si on a payé en plus le dinner qui était limite moyen (25€/ personne pour 2 terribles tagines au buffet . Eau facturé à 4€ supp la bouteille) Ensuite , le petit déj qui était tout simplement meskin et catastrophique . Nous sommes montés à 9h30 et il n y avait plus rien ! Les gens devaient faire la queue pour des verres d'eau et de thé ! Du jamais vu . Pas de vienoiseries pas de pain ! Ni mm de l'eau ! En plus du temps perdu la veille ! Le matin était encore pire. Presta très loin des 5 étoiles ! Pas de pantoufles ni pegnoires dans la chambre Petit rappel : Chambre à 2100 dhs / nuit Exeperience vrmnt regrettable . Très très déçue !

The hotel is architecturally an amazing project in a unique and fantastic location. Unfortunately the room finish (like tiling, grouting and built work, please consider I am an architect) is poorly done. The cleaning is not really at standards as windows dusty with kids fingerprints, floor sticky as broom and mop not properly used, as well not scenting of cleaning fullness. The dinner at restaurant a' la carte was very good but service slow and not attempt. Breakfast was not really what expecting for such an high level hotel, but must admit that buffet is really difficult. All the above are probably the result of an high end hotel designed to enjoy a scenic location in tranquillity, which is instead "assaulted" by family with children making the place loud and dirty. It is a pity as managed a bit better could be a fantastic Design Hotel, and attract more guests looking for a relaxing holiday.

Rien à aimer dans cet établissement, à part une situation géographique exceptionnelle, cet hotel est une catastrophe hôtelière que ce soit en matière de qualité d’hébergement, restauration ou services, il devient Une véritable arnaque quand vous comparez le rapport qualité/prix. Je vous passe rapidement la liste des couacs pour vous faire une idée : 2 heures d’attente au check in (évidemment le welcome drink, ils connaissent pas),une front desk Manager très amateure, qui ne maitrise pas son sujet, mal polie et stresse son personnel, l’attente encore au rendez-vous pour la restauration: plus de 2 heures d’attente du dej au restaurant de la piscine (juste pour un burger et une pizza, d’une qualité très médiocre et à prix exorbitant), il faut se lever tôt pour le petit dej sinon il y a plus rien quand l’hôtel est plein, ils arrivent plus à remplir le buffet, on ne trouve meme plus de couverts, service de ménage qui oublie de faire le sol. Le soir on s’ennuie à mort, piscine ferme à 19h, Un seul restaurant de qualité très moyenne avec la meme « animation » chaque soir, où ou alors pour manger appeler le room service mais les menus et les prix sont les mêmes et la liste est longue….

Cons: Faites attention quand vous réservez des villas 3 chambres, car la cerise sur le gâteau, sur le siteweb de l’établissement ils les présentent comme ayant une piscine privative mais en vérité, toutes n’ont disposent pas. Donc vérifiez votre réservation et si vous trouvez « jacuzzi » ca veut dire qu’ils vont ont fourgué une villa sans piscine avec un mini « bidet sale» en guise de Jacuzzi et vont vous dire que vous avez été « informé » sur la confirmation de la réservation. Cet hôtel est Une véritable arnaque je vous dis!

L'emplacement est magique. Mais aussi assez dramatique car le lac a perdu 90 % de sa capacité. Pour le touriste, cela change peu car il peut faire les activités sur le lac, mais la sécheresse se fait vraiment sentir. Le point de vue est exceptionnel et majestueux. Piscines très propres. Personnel au bar, à la piscine, voituriers et techniciennes de surface aux petits soins. Merci.

Cons: L'accueil à la réception impersonnel à notre arrivée et durant le séjour. Un petit rafraîchissement à droite à gauche ne serait pas inutile. Prix du vin excessif. Repas du soir très bon, mais organisation un peu complexe .. dans sa coordination. Belle animation au resto.

Cons: Que los restaurantes eran una estafa, tanto en precios como en producto. Nos cobraron dos veces. Aún sin resolver. Este hotel le falta una buena organización. Le falta mucha experiencia para ser un 5 estrellas. El problema de este hotel está en los directivos, no tienen ni idea de llevar un hotel y menos de 5 estrellas. Para nosotros ha sido una estancia rara, y no muy bien atendidos. Falta formación en hostelería, el agua la venden a 4 euros 750 mL, esto no lo he pagado ni en la Torre ifiel.. encima te la traen caliente y sin hielo, es un hotel con muchas carencias, solo se salva la arquitectura del hotel, lo demàs está muy legos de ser lo que venden. Una decepción.

Cons: Restauration tres moyenne est le principal et seul bémols de ce magnifique établissement que je recommande. Tajine kefta oeuf mauvais, les pâtes sur cuites et trop piquantes, le tiramisu composé de pure crème, le burger beldi, bonne idée mais vide et pain incoupable.

J'ai passé un séjour extraordinaire. Dès le moment ou on pose le pied dans cette Hotel , on se laisse embarqué par une magnifique experience et chouchouter. Cet établissement 5 étoiles offre un cadre luxueux, des chambres élégantes et hyper grande , avec une vue imprenable sur la piscine , le lac et les montagnes.. Le personnel était professionnel. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour une expérience inoubliable.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt mit traumhaftem Seeblick und exzellentem Wellness-Bereich Wir haben kürzlich einige Tage in der Suite mit Seeblick verbracht und können nur in höchsten Tönen von unserem Aufenthalt schwärmen. Die Suite war großzügig geschnitten, stilvoll eingerichtet und bot einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den See. Jeden Morgen wurden wir von einem malerischen Sonnenaufgang geweckt, den wir direkt vom Balkon aus genießen konnten. Der Wellness-Bereich des Hotels ist ein echtes Highlight. Von der Sauna mit Panoramablick über den See bis hin zu den vielfältigen Massage- und Behandlungsangeboten – alles war perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt, um pure Entspannung zu bieten. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Infinity-Pool, der ebenfalls einen wunderbaren Blick auf den See bot und für eine erfrischende Abkühlung sorgte. Das Personal war stets freundlich, zuvorkommend und professionell. Bereits beim Check-in fühlten wir uns herzlich willkommen. Alle unsere Wünsche wurden umgehend und zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllt. Vielen Dank für Frau Aya für alles, eine sehr sympathische und hilfsbereite Rezeptionistin im Hotel. Der Zimmerservice war hervorragend und die Reinigung der Suite wurde diskret und gründlich durchgeführt. Auch das gastronomische Angebot ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich, mit einer großen Auswahl an frischen und regionalen Produkten. Die Restaurants des Hotels boten kulinarische Köstlichkeiten auf höchstem Niveau – von traditioneller Küche bis hin zu internationalen Spezialitäten. Wir können dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank für diese unvergessliche Auszeit!

The view, location, and facilities. The staff were very kind and helpful. They did everything to keep us satisfied. Also, it is a really good hotel for family. I'm looking forward to staying in this hotel again.

Cons: تعامل الموضفين جد سيئ ما في اي احترام اسلوب الحوار جد سيئ الدخول الي الغرفة متأخر جدا بطيئين جدا بالإجراءات كان تأخير اكتر من 40 دقيقة ما كان في استقبال بالشاي المغربي المطعم و خدمة المطعم سيئ بنسبة لفندق خمس نجوم المسؤولة منو طلبت منا 300 درهم للبقاء لساعة 2 ضهر فقط مع العلم ان الفندق فارغ و كان اسلوب كلامها جدا سيئ الغرف ليس بيها سندل ولا فرشاة اسنان ما في عازل صوت بالغرفة و تعامل الاستقبال كان جد سيئ خاصتا المسؤولة منى لا اعرف كيف فندق خمس نجوم لديه موضفين هكدا اوقفو بطاقة الغرفة ساعة 11 The behavior of the staff was very bad, there was no respect. Le lieu est tout simplement magnifique, l’architecture, la décoration, mais surtout la vue imprenable sur le Lac. Un cadre reposant et ressourçant. L’équipe est très attentionnée et accueillante. Le petit déjeuner est varié et très bon. De nombreuses activités nautiques y sont proposées.

Cadre bucolique, vue imprenable sur le lac et la montagne, personnel aux petits soins, extrême gentillesse de toutes et tous. Un petit déjeuner royal avec vue sur le lac. Piscine à débordement. Séjour très agréable.

Cons: A notre arrivée, il manquait les petits plus : corbeille de fruit, brosse-à-dents, bonnet de douche,etc. Mais sur demande, la gouvernante a répondu favorablement à notre demande.

Шикарный отель, с большими номерами и супер большой кроватью. Спорт зал с видом на озеро и горы😍. Достаточно хороший завтрак, ужин. Я бы вернулась в этот отель однозначно!

Cons: В нашем тур пакете было включено спа процедуры и хамам услуги, из-за рамадана часы работы этих услуг были укорочены, и все остальные часы были забронированы. В итоге никто из нас не смог воспользоваться услугами за которые заранее было оплачено.

Great views and loved the pools. All staff were super friendly and accommodating

Cons: Pools could use some cleaning. The food in the restaurant is really overpriced for local standards and and the quality is quite average. I am also questioning the freshness of their ingredients as both me and my husband got our stomachs a bit upset. There are no other restaurants outside the resort so your choices are limited.

The breakfast selection is good but you have to work with what is available locally. Eggs and coffee are good, fruit selection is limited. Yoghurt selection limited. There are lots of sweet things that I do not eat for breakfast. Interesting vegetable salads that make a change

Cons: Having stayed a week the menus were a bit limited. the staff are wonderful but they sometimes don't quite understand what to do. We found speaking French as well as English was useful

Das Frühstück war marokkanisch und international, war sehr gut. Die Anlage ist hervorragend gelegen und bietet allen Komfort inclusive Shuttle Service zum Stausee runter. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder dort hin.

Tout, j'ai tout aimé !!! C'est un palais des milles et une nuit! Le calme, le personnel d'une gentillesse, n hésitez pas. J'ai visité d'autres hôtel à proximité, rien à voir. Les repas sont excellents !

Cons: Peut être la piscine non chauffée, ni intérieur ni extérieur. La carte est un peu "light" un peu plus de choix serait parfait ! Mais les repas sont excellents ! Bravo au chef et au personnel !

De locatie is prachtig. Mooi uitzicht!

Cons: Ik vond het eten in het restaurant heel erg tegenvallen. Ook jammer dat Bistro du Lac alleen maar open is voor eten tot 16:30 uur. In de omgeving valt er ook weinig te halen dus je bent echt afhankelijk van Widiane.
