I was heading to a yoga retreat on the outskirts of Marrakech, but thought I’d treat myself to a few days here before the retreat. Words cannot convey how truly amazing this property is. However what truly sends it into the stratosphere of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at is the staff and attention to detail. Every meal, every interaction was phenomenal. I will say it was difficult for me to leave this hotel for a yoga center. Hopefully I will be back in the future!

Just three minute walk from Nobu where we stayed, it was recommended to visit here for atmosphere, cultured history of Marrakesh. Well we had the most enjoyable afternoon having a light lunch and tea. The grounds and design we tranquil, it's like a secret hidden behind the Marrakesh walls. Great for inspiration, writing and of course pictures. We just loved it. They have Moroccan villas available for four and day rooms for a experience. It's a very special place to create memories.

The price of this hotel is insane and it was a splurge for me to stay. That being said you get a lot of bang for your buck. You get a Riad/Guest House to yourself. Very private and secluded with a courtyard. A den/lounge area and kitchenette on the first floor. Bedroom on the second floor, and a third floor/roof with a plunge pool and deck. The opulence and level of detail in the decoration is off the charts. The restaurants are top notch. If you want to live like royalty for a few days you can not go wrong with The Royal Mansour in Marrakech.

As part of our anniversary celebrations we had afternoon tea at this most opulent of hotels. Having arrived early we were offered time in the gardens. The gardens were very lush and well manicured. A tranquil walk amongst bird song and occasional sound of water from fountain. Every member of staff we encountered very extremely courteous and pleasant. The afternoon tea was in a small shaded garden area, the atmosphere was peaceful and clam. We had very attentive staff. Afternoon tea was set other than choosing drinks and opting for vegetarian. So happy with the flavours I had for open sandwiches, cakes and drinks. We opted for Moroccan tea and fruits of the garden juice, ending with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The scones were lovely and light. Toppings for scones were local to Morocco with fig, Orange and honey as preserves. My only niggle would be the cream for the scone; nothing quite substitutes for Cornish Clotted Cream. Food was plentiful. We had cakes to share between us and that was more than enough for us. Our tea was topped up continually. The ice cream came with a toppings cart which they gave you options to choose to have on your ice cream. Not a criticism at all but a suggestion, if you’re going to offer an afternoon tea then please include Cornish Clotted Cream. The twist of having ice cream to conclude the afternoon was just perfect, literally icing on the top! The staff were so wonderful with great attention to detail. We then had the option to use the facilities of the bar or the piano area. Having decided to move on we were then helped by golf cart to the gate. What an amazing experience and to perfect way to celebrate a special day.

I stayed at the Royal Mansour with three of my friends. It was the most incredible hotel I have ever stayed at. We had a two bedroom Riad, it was absolutely stunning. We were taken care of by Fathallah, our butler. He made us feel so special & took such great care of us. He took us for a tour around the property, which was spectacular, helped us plan a city tour on a motorcycle with side car, helped us with reservations and gave us lots of options for things to do. We will never forget our time at Royal Mansour!

The location was perfect, the hotel was faultless and exquisite, the service perfection, and fhe spa out of this world. Loved the soft drinks being included in our Riad. The hotel is also just 25 minutes from the airport. We were collected by the hotel's Bentley!

Cons: The food was a a little uninspiring. Breakfast was delicious. The staff did say though that if there was anything at all we wanted, they would make it happen!

Finally La Mamounia has some serious competition, and very well may be pushed down to No. 2 hotel in Morocco. The Royal Mansour Marrakech is a stunningly gorgeous iconic property (6-stars) with incredible service, food, and amenities. But what stands out the most are the awe inspiring spacious 3-story riads that make up the entire hotel (topped off on your 3rd floor by a private terrace and plunge pool). We have experienced some very impressive hotel rooms in our past travels, but the riad we had at the RM Marrakech is probably the most beautiful hotel accommodation we will ever have the pleasure of enjoying. The hotel staff are incredibly professional, and the expansive grounds of the property are beautifully landscaped. After enjoying our last mint tea in the hotel lobby, my wife wept tears of happiness as we departed the property.

Timeless Elegance - with incredible friendly and welcoming Moroccan hospitality, perfect in every detail - must try the restaurants on property - DELICIOUS The Rijads are out of this world - spacious, elegatly designed - truly a great experience. Like every good hotel - the people make the difference - and at the Royal Mansour they are the best. I mean really everyone - no exception. Big compliment to hotel management. Should you need help - contact mrs. Fatima or mr. Salah (that is what we did 😉) they go out of their way to make your stay one you will not forget!

My experience at the Royal Mansour was unforgettable thanks to the incredible service of Zine Mahmoud. I found myself in a vulnerable situation after being stood up for a date, and Zine went far beyond his role to look after me. Not only was the food exceptional, but the way he made me feel safe, cared for, and respected was on another level. His kindness and professionalism turned what could have been a very difficult evening into something truly special. As a frequent traveller and businesswoman, I’ve never encountered service quite like this. The Royal Mansour should be proud to have someone of his calibre on their team – he is a true credit to the hotel.

It is a wonderful place to experience the tradition of living in a true riad, as if it was your own home. Some of the riads have elevators, as did ours. The hotel had impeccable service. If you love the Moroccan culture, you will love this beautifully decorated, specially-built hotel of riads. Each one has 3 floors with your own sun deck and plunge-pool at the top. However, you would have to be fit to climb the stairs, unless you were as lucky as us to have a lift to all floors.

The Royal Mansour in Marrakech is a truly unique property with a beautiful hard product that wasn’t just another bland room, along with warm, personalized service from pickup at the airport to the front desk & concierge (who seem to work 24h) and at all the facilities we utilized (spa, pool, dining). It lives up to its reputation and we look forward to returning in the future

I have wanted to experience The Royal Mansour Hotel for myself for a long time. I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively throughout my life, staying at hotels of all grades, though my appreciation of those at the luxury end of the spectrum has increased as I have grown older. I have reviewed and assessed hotels for many years and sharing my findings and impressions with people is something I find very pleasurable. Hopefully I have been able to share insight and ideas with my 0.8 million readers. I saw a documentary about The Royal Mansour several years ago and it certainly captivated my imagination. The hotel is located in the heart of The Medina and is actually a medina within the medina. I found the website to be very helpful in assisting me select the most suitable riad for myself and customer services were very swift in coming back to me with answers to a few questions. I opted for the Premier Riad since it had the highest specifications for one or two persons. I usually travel solo, particularly when I am researching venues. Whenever possible I like to book directly with a venue rather than through an agency. There are advantages to both methods however this reviewer finds that venues are getting much more competitive in their offers in an attempt to attract customers to book direct. My package gave me a 4-night stay for the price of 3 and I found that to be perfect. Return airport transfers were included, as was fast track through passport control both ways. Breakfast was also included as well as soft drinks from the mini bar. This last point was the only aspect of my stay that did not happen with perfection without the need for me to make daily follow-up requests. The hotel contacted me a few days ahead of my arrival to confirm the arrangements and to identify any specific requirements that I might have. Before I left home I already felt valued. My arrival was seamless, and as I exited the aircraft and moved towards immigration, I was met en route by the airport fast track representative, who spoke excellent English and was lively and animated. It was a delight to be escorted immediately to an immigration officer who admitted me. I was then handed over to the Royal Mansour driver, Abdelanti, who took me to the awaiting Bentley for the 20-minute drive to the hotel. He was friendly and once again spoke excellent English. He advised me that he has worked for Royal Mansour for 16 years so I believe that says something positive from both sides of the equation. As I approached the hotel entrance and exited the car, the senior staff from each department were lined up to greet me individually. This was an incredibly personalised and delightful touch. I was seated by a concierge, Mahdi, who served me with mint tea and completed the check-in formalities. He escorted me around the principal locations of the hotel such as the spa and the restaurants, and we then moved on to my riad. I was immediately impressed by the sheer opulence of the building and the high standards to which it was designed, built and furnished. The official check-in time was 15:00 however my riad was ready on my arrival at 11:00 and this was very greatly appreciated. The ground floor of the riad consisted of a tiled entrance hall leading into an open roofed lounge that had a small fountain. There were comfortable chairs and huge plants and I became instantly aware that I was effectively in my own house. Sliding doors lead into a large sitting room where any guests could be seated comfortably. This led into an internal lounge that was traditionally furnished to an incredibly high standard with tiled floors and high-quality fabric curtains. There was a floral arrangement that was changed during my stay, and a fireplace, a separate table and a fully stocked minibar. The soft drinks were replenished daily, though I did need to remind the hotel each day. The was a high-quality writing desk. All rooms had incredibly high ceilings, and the temperature was individually controlled to a comfortable standard. There was a separate kitchen room that had a microwave and a fridge and more bottled water. There was a toilet on this level and a tiled winding staircase led up to the first floor. This first floor had an extensive wardrobe and dressing room that was curtained off. A short corridor led to the opulent bedroom that had a wooden parquet floor. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, with high quality fabrics, pillows and cushions. The bed, linens and pillows were very high quality with a high thread count. There was a small vanity desk by the window and the curtain fabrics were high quality and very effective for blackout. The room benefited from atmospheric lighting that could be individually controlled and had a huge armchair with foot rest. This chair formed a central feature. Again, there was plentiful storage space. Very attractive, floor-to-ceiling carved wooden doors separated a further dressing room that contained a safe. A few rugs and mats were scattered around the room. More carved wooden doors lead to a huge tiled bathroom with a separate toilet and bidet room and a massive shower room. High quality weighing scales were in the room. Two bathrobes were provided and a generous supply of extremely soft and fluffy towels. The room had a massive tiled bath, providing every comfort that could be desired. High quality toiletries were provided. A further winding staircase led to the third floor, where there was another toilet and a door leading out to the terrace. Views from here were over the roofs of adjacent riads but structured in such a way as to provide complete privacy. It became extremely hot up there during the day and I learned very quickly to be sure I wore the slippers which were provided. On the terrace was a private cabana that provided some protection from the heat during the day. Four attractive tiled steps lead to an upper level, which consisted of two loungers with an umbrella, a fireplace for cooler months and extremely attractive potted plant arrangements. There was a shower and a medium sized plunge pool, which was sun heated and this retained the temperature at night. In colder months the water temperature can be manually adjusted upwards by the hotel. Subtle lighting on the terrace made for a very pleasant experience during hours of darkness. Pool towels were provided and the entire terrace area was extremely relaxing and comfortable. Palm trees were interspersed between the raids. All rooms had a at least one wall-mounted tablet from which the temperature and the lighting could be individually controlled. There is also a button that control the entire riad with do not disturb signs to the staff. Staff accessed the riad via external and underground tunnels. It took a little adjustment to get used to this but it worked extremely well and the staff were courteous and discreet. Malika Gargour was my principal housekeeper and she really was sunshine on legs; radiating joy and happiness constantly. My riad was maintained to the highest conceivable standards of cleanliness and brilliance. There is a large outdoor pool in the complex and also a spa. I did not use these. There are four restaurants available and breakfast is taken in a delightful outdoor one that provides plenty of shade if desired. A large menu is available and this contains an extensive range of options. The service could not be more welcoming however special mention must go to Mustaffa, who is without doubt especially strong for his warmth and attention to detail. For example, I liked sparkling water to drink and asked for plenty of ice to be provided. A few minutes later, Mustaffa returned proactively not only with ice, but with a small plate of sliced lemon to add to the ice and water. He was the only server to do this during my stay and he displayed an exemplary work ethic. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for the staff and all requests were received positively. Food items were very fresh and plentiful and refills of anything were freely offered. I dealt with the reception staff and concierge staff on several occasions and I found these to be extremely accommodating and helpful. Foreign currency could be exchanged at reception and the rate was very fair. When making arrangements to leave, I was delighted to receive a personalised 6-hour extension to my checkout time as I had a mid-evening flight. This was so helpful and enabled me to take afternoon tea before my departure. The afternoon tea was extensive and served delightfully, with very fresh products provided. Staff were again attentive. My stay at Royal Mansour was a true delight and genuinely deserves the five-star rating I have given for the facilities, cleanliness, service and sheer opulence. Although some might consider stays to be expensive, I would defend this by saying that it was perfectly and fairly balanced with extremely high standards that guests enjoy. There are three hotels that stand out with me for providing a complete five star or even six-star experience and both on different continents. Royal Mansour is in joint first place with the other two. I sincerely appreciate the facilities and hospitality that has been offered to me by the management and staff over a most delightful four-night stay.

We knew the Royal Mansour Marrakech would be an incredible hotel, but it surpassed our very high expectations. Words and photos cannot accurately convey how beautiful every detail of the hotel is — not surprising given that it’s the King’s hotel. All the tiling and carvings were done by hand and the riad is a truly special home away from home. We have stayed in many luxury hotels — from well-known brands to boutique resorts — and none come close to the Royal Mansour. The food, service and amenities were excellent and the staff were the best of the best. We particularly liked how private the hotel is. Each riad has its own pool on the roof. Housekeeping enters through a special entrance and travel via tunnels and passageways so they are never seen when you’re walking around the hotel. No carts in the hall at Royal Mansour! We were at Royal Mansour for 5 nights, and it was not enough time to see all the amazing sights in Marrakech, go into the desert and Atlas Mountain, and relax by the pool and spa. HIGHLY recommend staying for at least 7 nights, especially if this is your first trip to Marrakech. (Also recommend Adil from Marrakech Desert for an excursion to the desert/mountains.) In short, the only negative about the Royal Mansour is that it will ruin all of your future hotel stays!!! You won’t be disappointed! Shukran, Royal Mansour, for an excellent stay! Can’t wait to visit again!

I have always heard about the Royal Mansour since its opening. I finally was lucky enough to experience this unique place in the world. Every detail of our stay exceeded any expectations: The kindness of the staff, the level of personalisation in the service and the outstanding design of the rooms and the entire hotel. Also, the gardens and the pool are incredible, specially when you know you are in a very dry part of the world. The Japanese / Mediterranean restaurant by the pool, serves some dishes that can be compared to any upscale restaurant in London. The harira soup is the best I have ever had, and the arrival and departure experience in a Bentley SUV was out of this world! You really feel treated like the best guest ever! For those who hesitate about visiting Marrakesh for any reason, this hotel is totally worth the trip! I don't think I have seen something similar, not even in Monaco!

This place is magical. I would even go so far as to say it’s the most elegant and stunning hotel I’ve ever experienced. The craftsmanship of the riads is absolutely incredible. We could not believe how blessed we felt to be staying in such unexpected luxury. The beds were clouds of comfort. The living space was sprawling and creative and magnificent. But above all was the service. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, warm and helpful. Most outstanding of all was our lovely butler Sakina. Sakina was the epitome of elegant, effortless hospitality. She was exceedingly kind and eager to assist. She went out of her way to ensure every detail of our stay was impeccable. She is a master of her craft. I wanted to cry when we left I was so happy and sad at the same time and I’m certain it was our time with Sakita that tipped our experience into excellence. Thank you Sakina and the Royal Mansour!

The only thing I would advise, which isn’t a negative per se, is there is a LOT of steps in each room so bookers just need to be aware of this. But honestly, well done Royal Mansour! The most wonderful stay!

I have wanted to stay here for a long time and this weekend my dream came true, when we came here for my daughter’s birthday. From the moment we arrived it was magical. We were whisked through the airport and into a beautiful Bentley. Our riad was beautiful, 3 stories with our own plunge pool on the roof. We ate at most of the restaurants- Le Jardin , where the sushi was on par with what we had eaten in Tokyo, and the frozen mojitos WOW! Breakfast and lunches were at the Grande Brasserie by Helene Darroze, where I had the best Rhum Baba I have ever eaten. We had dinner at the Grande Table Morocaine where we had the Safar menu, which was divine, but such big portions. We also had some treatments at the Spa. What a beautiful oasis . The treatments were really good. Really enjoyed the Hamman. The staff were really friendly and so lovely. Special thanks to our waiter Honsi, who is such a lovely young gentlemen, we really enjoyed being served by him. He is a credit to the Royal Mansour, as all the staff are. I hope I can return here one day, it is the best place I have ever stayed in. Thank you

This hotel is so beautiful. From the moment you enter it is calm and gorgeous. Every detail is thought of. The Riad is perfect. We stayed 6 nights and loved it. The restaurants at the hotel were our favorites as well. The service is impeccable and friendly. We loved having fires at night on our rooftop. I could go on and on but will simply say it was perfect.

This hotel is gorgeous. Very traditional Moroccan 🇲🇦 decor, very ornate and detailed. Staff simply cannot do enough for you, food and service is absolutely impeccable. Used the hotel car which was a Bentley bentaga. The Spa is absolutely worth visiting. We did both days in there. Would definitely go back again. Pricey, but worth it.

When you enter the Royal Mansour you're stepping into another world. It is definitely one of the best hotels in the world. The garden and the whole property are 100% perfection. We stayed in one of the beautiful Riads - a whole 3 story building with a little court yard and a beautiful rooftop terrace. There were minor details that didn't make our stay perfect - the service was not as good as expected (I asked 3 times about pottery and only the 3rd time got an answer), apparently every riad comes with a butler, we didn't get one, the breakfast is a la carte and I don't like that very much (personal preference so no fault of the resort) and we booked a classic hammam treatment at the spa which I did not like at all; most of the time I had to lay almost naked and alone on a big marble platform in a huge room and I felt very, very uncomfortable.

Royal Mansour was one of our best hotel experiences ever, and we have travelled to nearly 90 countries. Riads are stunningly beautiful. Food is the best in Morocco. Service is outstanding. Breakfast is such a treat. The only thing, I could suggest is for RM is to used higher quality Italian sheets. Towels used by RM are so soft and plush. I'd also like to suggest for the cost, an afternoon complimentary local snack/treat be offered with tea in the courtyard area. Also, I wanted so much to purchase the CLouboutin mosaic slippers but the shop didn't offer them in size 35 or 35.5. I asked if they could place a custom size order, but no one in the shop was helpful or even seemed to want to inquire.

Aware of the reputation of this hotel, its listing in the top 50 hotels of the world and having seen it featured on television, we arrived with great expectations. I have to say our expectations were far exceeded, (in fact it’s fair to say blown away!) The Royal Mansour has mastered the art of hospitality at the highest level of excellence. Stepping off the plane at RAK airport, we were fast tracked through immigration and security to our awaiting chauffeur driven, golden vehicle. A short drive and we arrived at the stunning gates of this luxury oasis, An oasis of awe-inspiring beauty! To say incredible design is not enough, every corner of every room from floor to ceiling is unique, an individual and bespoke work of art, immaculate and truly magnificent everywhere you look. You do not stay in a “room” at the Mansour, instead you become the owner of a Riad, Your very own 3 floor palace. We ate at all four restaurants during our stay, To go into detail about the restaurants here would require several pages but to summarise my experience as best I can: Innovative Asian cuisine, stylish Italian tasting menus, traditional Moroccan flavours and cuisine delivered as a fine dining experience and a Michelin standard French brasserie. I feel the thing that really gives the Royal Mansour its platinum stamp in hospitality and sets it apart from others is the level and style of service you receive from every single member of the Royal Mansour team. Service excellence!!!!

Most probably the best hotel you have ever been to, anywhere! Starting from the lush gardens that expand as far as the eye can see and provide refreshing shade from the heat of the region, with scents of a thousand flowers all around. Then you arrive at an overwhelming, proportionate architecture, resembling the enchanted city from any desert fairy tale, where every building (riad) is your hotel room, astonishingly sized at least 140 square meters, all surrounded by a stone wall like a true medina protecting your dreams. Each riad is not just spacious, but also a perfectly balanced combination of areas for rest, socializing, enjoying, or, as the patio, getting lost in your own dreams while hearing the water in the relaxing fountain. The service staff access your rooms through back doors while the "do not disturb" sign is disconnected, so you will never see them. The design of the access paths is simply the result of a genius mind. The staff is always attentive to any of your needs and behaves with the highest levels of professionalism and attention to guests. All these would work for 99% of guests, and just a very few would find any reason to complain, but maybe I'm too strict when paying a real fortune per night stay, so I must also share with you what I think is missing to reach perfection.

Cons: We stayed in the hotel for 5 days. The first two days, the hotel was half-empty, so the speed in resolving any request or serving our table was perfect. Then, when the hotel was fully booked, the weak points that still need to be polished became apparent: The turndown service did not show up until we called them late at night and only after waiting for more than half an hour. Breakfast at the dining room was slow, with coffees not coming until half an hour after being seated. The orange juice seemed diluted, presumably because they were about to run out of stock. There was a lack of variety in pastries, and the promise of a chef's different creation every day turned out to be the same great pain au chocolat, but nothing else. The quality of pizza at the Italian restaurant was poor, and the risotto with orange ice-cream was a bizarre nonsense. At the French restaurant, it wasn't much better, with the mille-feuille dessert not looking like a mille-feuille but more like breadsticks, and a burger that, without informing us, was made with ground goat meat instead of minced beef. In summary, the dining experience was far from what one may expect from a renowned chef in charge like the one at Royal Mansour. They have everything to become a great, if not the best hotel in the world, but they lack training, proper exposure to demanding clients, and tested procedures to respond to the needs of a fully booked hotel.

Royal Mansour is the epitome of luxury. So happy we decided on this hotel for our family holiday. It’s definitely the only best hotel in all of Marrakech no doubt. in fact I would rate this as the one of the best in the world. The service is of the highest standard, the entire team are friendly, courteous and professional. The property itself is immaculate and our Riad is beautiful beyond words. Rabia our hostess is the best, extremely hospitable and warm. Ask for her :) And definitely ask for Emad at the breakfast restaurant as well. He is just amazing.

The only negative about the property (at least the suite we were in) was that it was 3 floors and since each floor had high ceilings, it meant that you are climbing 32 steps to the next floor. No elevator in a 5 star luxury hotel.

Breakfast is definitely fit for a King! Moroccan dinner was exquisite! Hammam was the best I've experienced as the spa staff were warm and genuinely friendly and it was also different as we lay on a heated marble floor to be scrubbed. The indoor pool was also a delight to swim in. Overall it was a great experience as they met our requests. Kudos to the service team!

Cons: Not much entertainment at night, I guess we should get back to enjoy the huge villa. Got lost at times to get back to villa, more signages would be useful.

Exceptional service, both attentive and discreet. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. Beautiful decor and attention to detail, with lovely, well maintained gardens. There is a sense of calm and symmetry everywhere, with the fresh sound of water fountains in the background. There are beautiful floral decorations and plenty of indulgent treats and chocolates to be enjoyed anytime. Breakfasts on the private rooftop was delicious and the culinary choice and presentation was of a high standard throughout. There is great pride in their culture of hospitality and we enjoyed that very much.

Cons: The SPA facilities are lovely, but the gym, although it was of good size seemed a bit drab and old fashioned compared to the rest. But a very small negative note amidst a truly outstanding hotel and experience.

We have been lucky enough to have stayed at some of the best hotels in the world, but none have been able to match the level of design, luxury, and service of the Royal Mansour. The moment we were picked up by their driver in a Bentley we knew we were in for a treat, and our expectations continued to be exceeded from there. The hotel itself is beyond stunning. The level of design and craftsmanship is so much beyond a five-star hotel - I would liken it more as the opportunity to live in a historic royal palace (such as Alhambra). Everywhere you turn are gorgeous details - from the staff's wardrobe to the light fixtures to the glassware in the dining room. It is truly a showcase of the best of Moroccan design. The grounds are vast, lush, and beautiful. We visited during spring and were greeted by hundreds of orange trees covered in fruit and the most intoxicatingly fragrant blossoms. The pool is amazing - a true oasis from the chaos of Marrakech. The spa was incredible - a hammam is a must, if anything just to witness the gorgeous spa suite. The individual riads are all laid-out to replicate the medina - meaning it's easy to get lost but that's half of the fun! Each 'room' consists of a three-story riad that is truly more beautiful and luxurious than words can describe. My favorite element was our private rooftop where we swam, ate dinner, and sat by the fire. The staff at Royal Mansour are truly amazing - we have never felt more taken care of and valued.

Very professional, warm staff; always smiling and greeting you by my name. We had a small hiccup in our stay, but overall our time spent at RM was lovely and we've had nothing but great things to say about it to family, friends and colleagues. We have certainly recommended it to everyone we know. Special thanks to concierge team, Mr. Muhammad and Mr. Abdullah, for going above and beyond in accommodating us, far beyond I would have ever imagined. And thanks to our driver, Mr. Abdullah, for being so polite and sweet. These men deserve promotions, as their service is the very reason our stay at RM was so memorable and why we would like to return to RM in the future. Advice for travelers: check your reservation carefully- We regret not being informed upon check-in that breakfast was included. We sure missed out on that. Overall, though- lovely staff and premise. Thanks again, team RM!

A truly spectacular, elegant hotel. It is very expensive, but it delivers on every aspect of service and comfort. Having stayed in many five star hotels in Asia and the Middle East, I cannot think of any that matches Royal Mansour for quality and service. The spacious, three story riads provide privacy and the Moroccan décor/workmanship in the rooms is beautiful. The grounds are also spectacular, including the pool/spa areas. The location is good, as one can walk to the Medina. I did feel that the prices for meals were excessive, but once you are staying here you have to accept that this is part of a very high end hotel visit. So, if you are willing to splurge, you will not be disappointed by the Royal Mansour.

This hotel is stunning. The décor is just like a palace. The inlaid marble floors, the painted ceilings, the intricate wood carvings and stucco, the gardens, the restaurants all make it so special as do the staff which completes a perfect experience. The Riads are amazing built on three floors, a courtyard, a large living room complete with fireplace. Stunning bedroom and huge bathroom on the next floor and a roof terrace with a plunge pool sun beds and sofa's. Toilets on each floor plus a kitchen on the ground floor. The decorations are wonderful. We were met at the airport and ushered through fast track with repeat treatment on leaving. Mr. 'Fast Track' whisked us in front of all the lines and through to the VIP lounge. The hotel is inside the medina and the concierge organised a guide to walk us through the Souks which is well worth it to begin with. The hotel also organised a trip to the mountains, stunning views, a great guide and super lunch at Richard Branson's Kasbah. The hotel has three restaurants with a Michelin stared chef. Breakfast is beautifully done and it is so nice to be served rather than a buffet however good they are.The French restaurant is outstanding. The waiters are great which add to the whole experience. We used the Spa which needs to be seen to be believed.

This hotel is superb and no doubt about that.. However, there are two issues that you need to be concerned about. First although the design of the villas were so beautiful, it is quite unsafe for elderly and kids. Secondly, I have been traveling for 30 years and I never felt I am from Mars except in this hotel. For some reasons you feel this hotel is secretly targeting a specific cult or group and of course you are not one of them.
