Cons: Das Frühstück ist stets klassisch französisch, also süß.

Beautiful riad with excellent pool, well located. Our suite was furnished with antique furniture and fittings, with its incredibly high ceiling it felt like staying in a stately home or museum but was comfortable and the A/C worked very well despite the size of the room. Helpful, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.

Cons: The shower was just a handheld shower head over the bath, and the shower head leaked in every direction so it was hard to shower without sending water everywhere.

Absolutely exceptional experience at Riad Fes Baraka—easily a 5-star stay! From the moment we arrived, Samir, the property manager, provided a level of personal service that truly rivaled the world’s most exclusive hotels. He went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, anticipating every need and offering thoughtful recommendations—having Samir felt like having a dedicated concierge at your side 24/7. The entire staff was warm, attentive, and always ready to help, creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere throughout the riad. We especially recommend booking the AlArabesca room: it’s on the ground floor directly facing the pool, offering both privacy and immediate access to a pool that’s well above the usual riad standard—perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Fes.

Our stay at Riad Fes Baraka was nothing short of outstanding—definitely a 5-star experience! Samir, the property manager, sets the bar incredibly high with his exceptional, personalized service. It truly felt like having a private concierge, the kind of attentive care you’d expect only at ultra-exclusive hotels. The whole staff was wonderful—always friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure our comfort. I highly recommend booking the AlArabesca room, which is located on the ground floor right in front of the pool. Not only is it a beautiful space, but the pool itself is exceptional by riad standards—immaculately maintained and perfect for unwinding. The location is great for accessing the medina, and we found the street parking to be both convenient and very safe. If you’re looking for a boutique riad with world-class hospitality in Fes, Riad Fes Baraka should be at the top of your list. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it without hesitation!

The courtyard is quite beautiful with birds and greenery. We appreciated the guide that was arranged for us - he was excellent. The gentlemen working there were warm and helpful. The room was spacious. The tea on arrival. If you ask, they will provide bottles of water.

Cons: We were disappointed with the breakfasts that were not as good as other riads and fats we have stayed at on our holiday. The whole breakfast operation feels a little disorganized and with a lack of care. Little plastic containers of yogurt felt very ‘fast food’. I would suggest to them that they offer plates for guests to eat from as this does not seem to be their practice. There is a communal plate of eggs that you are expected to all eat from which seems strange and not done at other places we stayed at.

We had the family room and there was plenty of space. The manager got gluten free bread for my daughter which was really nice of him. The hamman massage was in tight quarters but well worth it and the ladies were great.

Cons: The only part we didn't like was on our first night of arrival we asked for dinner recommendations. The manager walked us to a place and we felt pressure to eat there by the way it was handled with the restaurant person coming out and what felt like a "trade off". It was our most expensive meal of the trip and there were other options nearby that would have been a better fit for our family. They also didn't take credit card.

The staff were very friendly, especially the night manager. They had a good selection of Moroccan wine at a very reasonable price. It is a very elegant Riad with nice touches in the decor.

Cons: The bed was so close to the walls on either side that it was actually quite difficult to get out of. We hadn’t appreciated that although we had a private bathroom it was not in the room but down two steep steps, across a stairway that others used, and up two steep steps. This was quite inconvenient, especially at night when you had to get sufficiently dressed in case you met others in the stairs.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Found us an exceptional tour guide to take us around Fes! An experience that we will forever be grateful for.

Cons: Only one thing I would mention to the owner is that the lighting in our room could have been better. It was a beautiful room with high ceilings but the lights are a bit too high up to provide adequate lighting.

It was a lovely Riad in the best location of Fes. Just a few steps away from nice bars, cafes and restaurants. For us it was the first time in Marokko, and the first time we stayed in a Riad rather than a hotel. Great choice! We felt at home! The riad is beautiful, we enjoyed having breakfast and dinner in the courtyard of the riad. Great food! Thanks Samira for cooking so great! I also had my best hamman and massage ever. Much much better that the one in the medina in "touristic hammam" places. We highly recommend the Medina tour that they help us arrange (for Italian or French people, the guide Mohammed is top!). The hospitality of the staff and manager are incredible. Touria, Samir, all of you, we really want to thank you from the bottom of our heart! You are so kind and helped us with everything, transportation, tours... and always with a big smile! THANKS!

Our two-night stay at Riad Fes Baraka was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we booked, the hospitality was evident—our host, Samir, reached out via WhatsApp to offer assistance with transportation, guide services for exploring the old Medina, and even the option of a freshly prepared dinner upon arrival. As strict vegetarians, we often face challenges finding meals that cater to our dietary needs, but Samir and his team went above and beyond to create an unforgettable dining experience. The meal they prepared for us was, without a doubt, the best we had during our two-week trip through Morocco—so much so that we opted to dine at the riad again on our second night. Every ingredient was sourced fresh from the market that day, and the attention to detail in both flavor and presentation was outstanding. Upon arrival, Samir personally met us outside to assist with our luggage and welcomed us into the riad with traditional Moroccan mint tea. He took the time to help us plan our time in Fes, ensuring we made the most of our visit. After settling in, my friend indulged in a traditional Hammam and massage at the riad and highly recommends the experience. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of travel and set the tone for a relaxing stay. We stayed in the Serial Suite, which was both stunning and comfortable. The traditional Moroccan decor, soaring ceilings, and private terrace created an atmosphere of elegance and relaxation. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was excellent, and while the room did not have a refrigerator, Samir kindly offered to store our drinks in the kitchen and provide ice whenever needed. The riad also features a beautiful rooftop lounge where guests can unwind. Wine is available for purchase by the bottle, and a Carrefour nearby offers additional beverage options if you would like some beer.

Cons: Exceeded our expectations! The room did not have a refrigerator, but they will put beverages in the refrigerator for you and provide ice.

I had a great 3-night stay at Riad Fes Baraka. The location is excellent, with immediate access to the old medina, while still allowing for cars to pick you up and drop you off. The Riad itself has a lot of charm: lovely rooms with Moroccan architecture and furnishings, a rooftop terrace for relaxing, breakfast at mosaic tables around the central pool. The staff was very communicative and helpful. The WiFi went out during my stay, which was not the fault of the Riad, but it certainly disrupted my plans. And it took forever for the hot water to kick in. But these issues didn't keep me from having a terrific time in Fes.

I recently visited a place that, unfortunately, is located in a less safe area. Despite this, my experience was significantly improved by the exceptional service provided by Samir. He was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to ensure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. His warm demeanor and helpful attitude truly made a difference. While the location might not be ideal, Samir's outstanding service is a bright spot worth mentioning.

Beautiufl property with wonderful ambience. We had the suit and we would highly recommend it, elegant and comfortable space with lots of room and views. This charming property also has a fantastic location in the Fes Medina and walking distance from all attractions. The Hammam was also a top notch experience! We would stay here again.

The Riad is so beautiful our 4 people room was very nice with a big bathroom. The breakfast was very good and different between the 2 days of staying. The dinner had big portions and they were super careful with the gluten free options. We used the hamam service and the massage, wow what an experience. We loved it. There was also wine options. The location was very good in my opinion just outside the medina so felt safe and close to bar and atm spots.

Quiet location and beautiful property. Food was good and the riad is well maintained. We aware travelling with children 8 and 9 yrs old and we enjoyed the stay here. Vegetarian food options is available and very nice pizzeria is at stones throw. We had booked for 1 night stay but after reaching Fes we decided to extend our stay in Fes for 1 one day, this Riad did not have room available so Samir took extra care to make sure we found another one, he invited us to use the pool even after our checkout - our children were very happy because they could swim after a long walking day in Fes and he personally came to drop us to our next riad - he is extremely caring. Would definitely recommend this peaceful riad.

I loved the way Samir was looking after me and explaining everything in his ability, Thank you Samir, like nearby food options and even calling and helping me place an order. We both spoke over some late night check in dinner and he shared places I could visit. I had to leave for an excursion next morning so I had a rushed breakfast which the lady made early for me, taste was unique and juice was freshly squeezed oranges. I was moved to a smaller room which I preferred as a solo traveller. The place has heritage and culture. The open riad pool roof meant listening to beautiful thunders on my first night. I ate most my day eve meals from cinema cafe restaurant, the guy always walked me back to my riad. The fez medina shopping was decent but you have to do some friendly barter here compared to Chefchaouen.

Cons: Not a fault just if I could speak maybe more Arabic or French then maybe staff can understand me better. Staff are bilingual in Arabic, French, Deutch or Spanish. So it’s fair that we learn some basic communications norms.my second room my bathroom was not in my room. So was a little tricky in the dark navigating stairs finding lights to get to it. Dropping keys in the night I felt I would disturb other guests so I tried to avoid using bathroom. A bit more about facilities on site would be good, like signage or imagery in rooms. Could do with interior upgrade but still very nice. Thank you.

The location was very convenient close to all amenities. 5 mins walk to the main square which is also a pick up point for tour guides in and out of Fes. It was 5-10 min walk to the Blue Gate which is old medina and the main bazaar. The staff at the Riad were amazing and very helpful. Collection from the airport was free, at arrival to the Riad we were greeted with mint tea and biscuits , and allowed to check in early! Massage and Hammam is also available at the Riad reasonably priced and it was good! Staff was very helpful answered all our questions and provided exceptional customer service. On our last day, we had to leave early morning before the breakfast start time and the staff accommodated us by providing us with an early breakfast!! We had a wonderful experience at this Riad!

Cons: Don’t really have anything negative to say other than the pool temperature was not regulated so the water was always cold even with 30 degree outside temperature so couldn’t really enjoy it. The rooms were dark with very low light but then again perhaps that’s how all Riads are not sure as it was our first experience in one.

The Riad is well located and easy to access. The staff was very friendly and helpful however I found my room very small and very dark. There was no sitting area . The hotel is very beaituful inside. Breakfast was very good. We saw some people having the dinner which also looked good, but we usually came late so we didnt have it. The swimming pool is very good and refreshing after a warm walk through the Medina. People were friendly and helpful. If you clme by car, there are public parking areas just around the Riad, there is no need to park on the street in front which is very caotic and sometimes people ask for money. We left our car 2 night witihout any problem. In Google Maps you can see some suggested points where to park around.

It is a very charming riad, with beautifully, traditionally decorated rooms, patio and a lovely terrace. The breakfast is homemade (fresh orange juice, fried eggs and fresh breads/ cakes) and very yummy. We had the large room in the patio which has a very comfortable king size bed and even the two single beds have comfortable mattresses (even if a bit narrow, but ok for kids). We also had dinner there on the day we arrived and it was very nice and good value for money. The day and the night managers were very accommodating with our requests and very helpful with parking (which is 5min walk away as the riad is in Medina but they have an arrangement with a nearby hotel) and requests.

Cons: We were there for a few nights around Near Year's and the nights were cold. These charming riads don’t seem to be at all adapted for winter temperatures around 5-7 degrees C (windows/ door not isolated etc). And unfortunately we came around 8pm on the first night, had dinner outside (they had an outside heater but it was still quite chilly) and realised late in the evening that the reversible A/C was not working properly. We asked for a mobile electric heater but they didn’t have any left so we spent a very chilly and uncomfortable night. Our daughter had a bad cold that went worse and we had to go to hospital/emergency for antibiotics. But they recommended a Clinique which was really smooth and they fixed the A/c and gave us an extra heater and after that all was well. We appreciated their efforts, a pity it wasn’t solved from the 1st night. They should have a policy to warm up the rooms when people arrive late.

Zaidi Samir, the manager, made sure we were well take care of for our entire (albeit brief!) stay. He reached out before our arrival and helped us arrange for a seamless arrival to the riad. Upon arrival, Samir received us with the utmost hospitality and accommodation - even though we were on a very tight timeline as we had an appointment for soon after our check in! Seeing how short our stay was, he offered to help set us up with a guide for the next day and transport to the train station for our departure. Everything was as Samir promised - our guide, Mohammed, was everything we could’ve hoped for. Prompt, informative, warm & ever the professional - we learned so much from him in just one morning, and wish we had more time. The breakfast was freshly made and delicious. The view of the courtyard pool alongside the decadent traditional furnishings made for a luxurious morning experience For first-time visitors, it’s helpful to note that you’ll need to be let in for entry to the riad. It made our stay feel much more secure.

Cons: Nothing stood out as a negative - for US travelers, it’s helpful to bear in mind that this is a property with much history and should be respected.

This Riad is just lovely. A real hidden gem. The calm courtyard with the pool and beautiful architecture was a joy. Our room was warm and inviting and the bed was really comfy. Plenty of space to relax. The staff were so lovely, even making us a picnic breakfast when we had to leave early to get a coach to Chefchaouen. The food was great anyway! We had dinner there the first night and it was delicious. I've also started putting cumin on my eggs at home so a little part of this enchanting place has now rubbed off in Devon!!

Cons: This is not a criticism at all and we knew the set up before we arrived but having our bathroom across the landing was tricky for me, just because I am not steady on my feet and negotiating a series of little down and up steps in the middle of the night was interesting lol!

What especially made our stay great was Samir's hospitality. He welcomed us with incredible Moroccan mint tea, organized a medina guide for us last minute, and went above and beyond when we asked him to take a few photos of us in the riad. We were sad to leave so soon, and would definitely stay here again should we make it back to Fes in the future.

Cons: The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't have more time here! Nothing negative to say.

Beautiful riad, very impressive and wonderful location. Staff is absolutely amazing, we felt very welcome as a family. The manager arranged a wonderful guide for our tour of the Medina. Thanks to him we had an amazing day with Ali, which even our 8 year old daughter enjoyed very much. We had dinner twice at the riad, which was some of the best food we had during our two week stay in Morocco. The pool is nice after a day in the Medina.

Cons: We had a room with an exterior private bathroom. No big issue, but not very convenient either. Beds could do with a new mattress.

This Riad is a true Riad because of the small pool in the middle of it, and it was fantastic. It was ver easy to find, and Samir the manager, met us outside. We were welcomed with Moroccan mint tea and talked about our trip so far. We booked the Serail suite and it was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean, AC worked, and we had a small indoor patio as well as access to the public outdoor patio upstairs. Breakfast was tasty and everyone there was very kind and helpful. The small pool had very cool water and was a great way to relax after a long day of walking. We would recommend this Riad to everyone!

Amazing place, beautiful courtyard and our room (the blue room) was magical. The hammam and massage experience (you pay separately for each, and I recommend getting both if you are doing the hammam) were an interesting experience. We had dinner at the riad and the food was amazing too. I’m really glad we had dinner there.

Cons: The staff and the riad recommended that we get a guide to see the city (they recommend it to everyone). It was completely unnecessary in our experience. Maybe it’s just me but the lady running the place could have been a little nicer.

I stayed at a lot of riads in Rabat, Fes & Meknes ... and this one was the best of them all :) Things I liked: - Cheerful oriental interior design to the riad - Amazing large pool - Helpful staff that offered their help and services the moment I arrived to Fes before even arriving to their Riad (They texted me on whats app and offered to pick up me from Fes station when I arrive for free ) - No need to plan for city activities if you are staying there ... the staff offered me different paid services that I chose from like different types of guided city tours either on foot or by private car

The accommodation. The staff is super helpful. The apartment it self, very cozy. The property looks even better than booking pictures . Super tasty breakfast, freshly squeeze 🍊 orange juice!

Cons: Nothing at all. We came by car, and the acces route /street was closed . So, we had to walk a little, looking for the hotel.

Everything was excellent! The location could not be better - it is in the heart of Medina (old town). Breakfast and dinner are delicious, the stuff prepared for us local meals, that was absolutely great. Also the coffee, tea and fresh water were available for us all day. The stuff also organised for us the pick up on the airport to the hotel, but it is only 15 minutes away. The hammam is excellent, highly recommended! Riad is super clean and the stuff could not be more kind and helpful, they also organize trips and activities for their guests if they want, for very good prices. We will absolutely come back!

It was a good price and the common areas of the riad looked interesting, also staff working at the riad were friendly

Cons: The riad is not very well kept. It's in desperate need of renovation. Our room had a bathroom that is located across the staircase. During check-in lady who worked there was showing us how to open the room and bathroom with keys. She couldn't open the bathroom because the doors are very old and it took my husband a lot of strength to get in. As this bathroom is accessible from the common area and almost impossible to open with keys, it wasn't very convenient. In fact, most of the doors in riad were hard to close because they didn't fit properly and everybody was slamming them in order to close the room. It was especially annoying late at night and early morning. It was really loud and woke up us every time. The shower has warm water for like 10 minutes and the stream is weak. The curtain on the window in the bathroom had a big stain in the middle. Breakfast is very limited and small. One egg, one pancake, jam, butter, bread, a tiny cup of orange juice, and mint tea. Every morning same. When I told the staff I'm allergic to eggs and if they can bring some cheese or anything else the lady brought one piece of melted cheese triangle. Other guests who were sitting next to us wanted one more pancake and she told them that she doesn't have more pancakes... The next morning after they already knew I can't eat eggs they brought the egg and pancake for me again!!! Last morning we were waiting 25 minutes to get breakfast as the riad was full.

The staff was super kind and helpful! We were met at a central location where our desert tour dropped us off and guided to the Riad. They were able to help connect us with a tour guide and arrange taxi services for us (to the airport). They also offered to organize other tours and day trips but Fez was our last stop and we were too tired to do anything but enjoy the medina. Our room was really beautiful. The pictures did not do it justice. We hope to come back to Morocco and would love to stay here again.

Good breakfast in very nice loggia. Tasty meal, great tea, view on swiming pool and sky above the Riad - but still silent, creating safe asylum in the city center :)

Cons: Squeaky doors to the room and to the bathroom - we probably woke everybody during night toilet visits ;D Also the bathroom lamp was hanging low - one bulb did not survive contact with my head :/ But those are very minor things, it's a great stay!

Riad Fès Baraka An impressive display of Moroccan architecture in this riad. The homey atmosphere simply slows you down and relaxes you. We booked the Essaouira suite for two nights stay and we actually loved it. The only issue we saw in the room was the lack of a mini fridge and an electric kettle for evening coffee since we were next to a terrace. And after all it's supposed to be a "suite" so just find it a bit strange not having a fridge to cool our drinks. The other small concern is the shower which has no shower curtain to stop water in splattering all around leaving you a wet shower plus we aren't fond of having ourselves reflected in the mirror while having a shower. Aside from these, the riad was great... we were nicely greeted by Samir and the young evening guy Ali was very helpful and quick in his service. Btw, a thumbs up also to the owner Marc who is very responsive and reactive on booking msgr & whatsapp. He also offered us a transfer back to the airport which is a very kind gesture. But the most remarkable thing you have to do in this riad is the Hammam. Although we had to do our treatment ourselves due to the fact that we wanted to do it as a couple at the same time in a tiny but very very cute hammam, we didn't mind it. The massage after that was wonderful. A must do, we recommend!

Location was good for getting to the medina. collection for train station was helpful and complimentary. On hand to make arrangements for you.

Cons: breakfast was dull and repetitive, we could hear people getting massages from our “Serail” room which was uncomfortable as a window overlooked our terrace. Having to ring the bell every time you wanted to come in. cleaning wasn’t done everyday and the sheets had stains on them. When we stayed in Marrakech we had a “home from home” and In Fez it felt like someone else’s home…..

This is a beautiful Riad, well placed in a quiet part of the Medina and easy to navigate from. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the Serail suite on the 1st floor which is very spacious, with its own enclosed balcony overlooking the pool. It felt very grand indeed with lovely high ceilings. They have a different choice of dinner daily, we ate once and it was delicious, cooked by the lovely Samira who is also the female hammam - which cannot be recommended highly enough! Would recommend this Riad to anyone going to Fes which is a beautiful city, much quieter than Marrakech.

Cons: Minor improvements only suggested here. The single bed has a memory foam topper but it kept slipping off very easily, not sure why. The dressing area was very dark and cupboards full of blankets so space for clothes was limited. The breakfast could include a little fruit, especially as we were vegan. Better still, a traditional Moroccan breakfast would have been great in the setting!

Ground floor bedrooms overlooking the pool, one bedroom in particular very close to pool edge, one slip and you’d be in the water. Breakfast and dinner good and wine good value. By far my favourite accommodation during our 10-day trip through Morroco. Staff was very nice and the room incredible. We had booked the Serail Suite which is located on the top floor with direct access to the terrace. We spent most of our time there enjoying the sun in the day and the stars in the evening. The food was just so delicious that we ended up dining there each evening. The main entrance to the old medina is only a 10 mins'walk away, which was great. The location of the riad is ideal and there was no noose coming in from the streets nearby.

I have traveled all over the world. I stayed in Riads before in Marakesh. By comparison this is the best Riad I have ever stayed. Mr Samir is so nice and professional who makes sure that we are satisfied in everything. He gave directions to the taxi when we arrived at the station. Location is great and easy to find from the blue gate. Taxi can bring you almost to the riad. The lady in the morning also nice, can't recall her name. All staff are so professional. Please look no further. This is the best Riad. I would go back definitely. The riad is so clean. Breakfast was good. You are welcomed with mint tea with a big smile at the arrival. The riad is so authentic and well maintained. We did not use the pool because the weather was not so hot, but I would love to go back when the weather is warm to take benefit of the pool. You feel so relaxed inside the riad. The riad is close to souks, but far enough to be away from the noise of the souks. We took a guide from the Riad. Make sure to Ask Samir for a guide . We had another guide but we were not happy with but the guide provided by Samir in the riad was so good and speaks 5 or 6 languages and was so knowledgeable and not pushy as other guides. I recommend a guide as the old medina can be overwhelming. I cannot write enough to recommend this riad. If there is more than 10. I would go 2 this riad more than 10. I am not easy to please but this riad is really a gem in FES. Tx you for upgrading my room & 4 everything.

Great place to stay! Exceptional in every way. Very clean and spacious. Location is ideal as is inside the Medina but not in the heart of the Medina which was very convenient for us. Samir and staff were beyond friendly. Samir was very helpful answering all our questions. He welcomed us with hot tea as tradition. Great breakfast provided by the Riad but dinner was beyond delicious. It has several pleasant common areas to relax, read books and have tea. The rooftop is incredible with a nice view of the Medina. They even picked us up from the airport and they drove us to the bus station to buy tickets to Chefchaouen. Wifi was excellent. In general, it covered all our needs and pleased all our expectations. We felt like home. Highly recommended..We would be back!

Fes was an incredible city but our experience there would not have been the same had we not stayed at Riad Fes Baraka. The kind, hard working people who make Baraka tick - Samir, Turia, Samira, Siad and the rest of the staff - do such a wonderful job of making you feel comfortable, welcome, safe, cared for and care free. All within the walls of a gorgeous, traditional riad in the heart of Fes. Samir and Turia are always around to answer questions, grab you train tickets, set you up with any service you need, have a tea with you, arrange dinner or give you advice. Samir upgraded our room because it was available and because he wanted us to feel more comfortable, all before arranging a great guide for us, booking us hammam appointments and making sure we were lined up for a cooking demonstration. The food is some of the best food I've ever had. We ate dinner at the riad all three nights we stayed and have yet to have anything in Morocco that compares. Samira is an incredible chef, preparing dishes as if she was feeding her family. We cooked with her in the kitchen one evening and got to observe some of her techniques. An experience I will never forget. A few random notes/tips: the beds were incredibly comfortable, the pool is a great retreat in summer, swing for a larger room with a bathroom (the suites are totally worth it!), have Samir book you with a guide for your first day in the medina, and book the hammam (it's private, personal and lovely.)

What a little gem of a place. Riads are definitely the way to go. Such beautiful ornamentation!! The reception team were amazing! The bill was accurate. We were three girls, family, and were at the beginning of our trip, so we had a bit of a tiff, and the hosts were kind and gave us the room to work it out. They gave us the support needed to get to the bus station to pick up our bus tickets, which was stressful. The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The only little bummer, was that the ladies doing the massage/scrubs were a bit unprofessional. But the riad and its hosts were amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay here and wished it could have been much longer. The riad was in a wonderful location in the old medina, which made it easy for us to explore. The decor was both comfortable and, at the same time, distinctive and ornate. It was very kid friendly and our children had a blast. The one thing I want to say especially is that we were impressed by Moroccan hospitality everywhere in the country, but the staff of Riad Fes Baraka really stood out. From the owner on down, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, communicative and helpful. They even went out of their way to reach out to us and help us arrange for good transport on to our next destination (and we only stayed there one night). And the caretaker, Samir, even walked us over to a nearby restaurant so we wouldn't get lost. You couldn't have asked for better hosts.

We were dissapointed with our room, our bathroom was separated from the bedroom by steps, really not good when needing a visit in the night as I was unwell. Our room was directly over the kitchen and had only one small window over the interior, it was very noisy when people were moving around the hotel, noise travels as in most Riad. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and would help with anything. The cook would not prepare an evening meal for one which was dissapointing but that drove us to eat in Souk amd that was wonderful experiance. A great place for visiting Fez souks and for seeing the oldest souks in Morrocco.
