The property is absolutely stunning — a collection of charming old houses brought together into one beautiful Riad. Every corner is filled with exquisite details and unique décor pieces. The space is bright, spacious, and full of character. The staff were incredibly attentive and always ready to help. The restaurant was exceptional; I had the best Harira soup in all of Morocco, and I visited six cities on this trip. Everything was perfect, including the level of cleanliness.
Cons: There were no cups or a kettle in the room for tea or herbal drinks, and slippers were not provided.

The property is well situated for the medina & has a pay car park very close. It’s very beautiful & well kept .
Cons: However it lacks something! It seems to be resting on its laurels. Staff were a bit lack lustre in their interaction with us. Perhaps the manager was away? The food a breakfast was ok, but the breakfast room needs a rethink , it’s unnecessary crowded with furniture and lacks atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was the worst we have had in our 3 weeks in Morocco & the most expensive! It’s a set menu. The dining room had great views which they don’t make the most of & the roof terrace seemed abandoned & scruffy. There is a pool which in oct given its very shaded position was understandably cold but it would have been nice to have some loungers round it to relax on after a hot afternoon walking round the medina.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly, attentive and helpful staff.
Cons: We enjoyed our stay overall, but there were a few aspects that could be improved. The swimming pool water was unfortunately very cold, which made it difficult to enjoy. The food selection felt very limited, and the two-course dinner with drinks (80€) was disappointing in terms of taste and variety. With a few adjustments, the experience could be much more enjoyable.

First time to a Riad in Morroco. This is what i imagined. Quiet, lovely, secluded, yet steps away from the Medina, this place is remarkable! Absolutely charming residence. We felt at home from the moment we stepped in. We took advantage of the spa and it was great. Meals at the Riad were simple yet tasty and perfect. Views were awesome. We loved this place and we loved the people who cared so much for their space in the old town. So...in summing up, please visit here, it is so charming!

The location of the riad is ideal - close to the excitement of the Medina, yet just outside the noise and bustle of the streets. The property is exquisite and the rooms large and comfortable. The pool is both beautiful and refreshing. The staff, however, is where this riad excels. Fati, Yasmin, and Nasir are exceptional and always available to help. If travelling to Morocco, make sure you find time to stay at this riad.

The staff were very nice. Good location
Cons: We booked a Deluxe Suite about a year in advance based on the photos which all showed light and bright rooms with windows and views. But we were placed in a room (#137) like a basement with no windows to speak of - needless to say it was dark, depressing and horrible and we left early the next day. We also found at least three dark hairs in the bathroom (not ours). The restaurant service was poor - we gave up waiting for a staff per suit come take our order and left. And a house keeping staff member walked into our room while we were in bed. Very disappointing overall and very bad value for money given our room cost about $380USD. They knocked 30% off after we complained and left early but that’s still too much to pay for such a poor room. It was false advertising in my eyes. Definitely not 4 star

The Riad Maison Bleue is made up of 4 riads that have been combined. It has a beautiful courtyard with a pool and very ornate decoration throughout the building. Our room was very spacious with a comfortable super king bed, large tv and sofa. They supplied really high quality bath and shower products The staff were all delightful especially Nassir who served us a fantastic breakfast.
Cons: The WiFi could be better

The location was excellent just on the outskirts of the Medina but easy walking distance. The bedroom was excellent - Jasmine. Our breakfast waiter Nasir was superb!! Great breakfast
Cons: There was no atmosphere.. the terrace area had no atmosphere, needed some TLC. The breakfast room was extremely cold and whilst heaters were sat in coats and also it needed some atmosphere- low music or something The spa area and upstairs terrace could have been made to be so much better All the above didn’t spoil our stay - as the room and location excellent but it was not the best Riad we have stayed at. Such a shame

The riad is stunning and the pool is wonderful. The food was also excellent. The location being on the edge of the Medina was also kind of nice — it made it easier to get to and there was a view to the north that was nice. The food was excellent and our server, Serge, was really nice and so attentive.
Cons: There is a bit of an “old plumbing” smell but I imagine this is everywhere in Fes given it’s such an old city with a dense population. I didn’t notice it too much while staying but I did notice the smell in my pyjamas afterwards.

the edge of the old part of fez was great, also the breakfast was great and a lot of choice
Cons: the pool noise kept going through the night and it was awful: I did not sleep because if this. the ‘international’ part of the restaurant was closed , with a very limited choice and they were very slow in preparing the food (1 hour +), if you are hungry don’t wait for them. we also had roomservice and they didn’t clear the leftovers till the next day, check in was slow and overall internal communication was also very chaotic.

decor and design were beautiful, front desk staff were great
Cons: staff attending to rooms and breakfast area were not friendly. there was one friendly younger gentleman, but the other two who wore red hats were not very nice. they really did expect tips at every turn, despite mediocre service. when my bags were brought to the room, my husband was in the bathroom and he had the money, so the Porter waited around the door uncomfortably until I eventually went into the washroom where my husband was using the facilities to GET the money, and tipped him before he would leave. other guests may have gotten better service and I don’t want to assume why we were specifically treated poorly.

The riad is a beautiful and private place with a great staff.
Cons: For the price, the breakfast offerings were a little underwhelming, and the grand breakfast room needs a little 'warmth' for chilly, gray mornings. Not cheerful at all. Also, the bath in my room was dangerously underlit with tricky stairs. Not for mobility-impaired travelers.

The Raid is in the Old Medina, so although the entrance is disguised, the raid itself is beautiful on the inside. The staff was very friendly and readily helped us with transfers, and guided tours, and the raid has a restaurant with great food to enjoy after a day of touring around. The Raid was clean, no problem with our rooms, with Air conditioning available in the rooms. Felt safe in the Raid and the location was good. Highly recommend a tour guide to visit the city.
Cons: The entrance to the Medina may seem strange at first (probably like most Riads in the Old Medina) but don't be afraid, the guide took us to the door and then everything was okay! Breakfast is slightly limited in options but it was enough.

The most beautiful hotel of our Morocco stay. This hotel is easily located in the medina, there is a little construction happening now but otherwise super easy to navigate (I heard many got lost in Fes Medina). This is a larger Riad where I think there are 4 Riads that make the hotel, total 20 rooms. Not sure why but this hotel seemed empty, I think only 3-4 rooms occupied, not sure if they are ramping up from covid. Otherwise, the is bay far the most beautiful and spacious, very instagramable hotel and you will love your stay and make many jealous of your time in Morocco. A bit pricy, but with spending on this one.

The location, room and staff made this a phenomenal experience. Samir, the house manager, Abdoul, Abdoul, Said, Nabil, Omar, guides Abdoul and Mohammed, and countless others made this trip and the Riad. This was our first trip to Morocco and first Médina experience. From a safety and relaxation standpoint, Riad La Maison Bleue was a success! Make sure you take the opportunity to eat at La Maison Bleue, the sister Riad. This is an engaging culinary and entertainment experience

The accomodations and rooms were lovely, and the breakfast was great. We also dined there one night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We were not satisified, however, with the staff. When we checked in, a staff member asked if we would like for them to arrange a city tour. We agreed to a price of 700 dh (about $70 USD) for a half-day tour. Our tour guide was not knowledgeable about the history of the sites and often rushed us through them quickly. In fact, the only place we spent much time were places we could spend money (a ceramic shop, a rug shop, a clothing store, an antiques store and a leather store). We shared this feedback with the hotel, and the person simply raised his eyebrows and shrugged his shoulders. We asked about transportation to Volibulous (Roman ruins about 90 KM away) - - - being very clear that we wanted only a driver/car and not a guide. The same person at the hotel told us it would cost 1,200 dh (about $120 USD). Instead we opted to walk to the squre and pick up a grand taxi - - - which we paid 700 dh for (a 500 dh or $50 USD savings). So we enjoyed the hotel but do not let the staff there book any trips or guides for you.

Very nice Riad, close to Medina in fes. Very warm and welcoming staff. Greeted with mint tea and dates, as is the tradition. Long check in process. Only down side is amount of stairs, it is 3 connected riads and thus a lot of up and down on uneven stairs. Not good for elderly or knee problems. Breakfast one of the best I’ve enconteted at a Riad. Front desk very helpful, arranged for 1/2 day tour with guide which costed 400 dirham for guide, 300 dirham for taxi. Also arranged for whatever else necessary. There are safes in the rooms, but unfortunately they all very broken, despite resetting. Did not contact front desk to correct. Very nice roof top.

Riad Maison Bleue is a luxuriously restored riad just inside the medina walls of Fez el Bali and conveniently located off of Talaa Kebira, one of the main streets through the old medina. The staff was very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The multi-level rooftop terrasse which overlooks the medina walls facing the Borj Nord and Saadian Tombs was a lovely setting both for dinner and breakfast. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the complimentary fruit basket was a lovely touch.

Stayed 3 nights in October 2015. Riad exceeded expectations and is expertly run.Location is perfect on edge of medina, near talaa kebira (one of main arteries), accessible by taxi to within one lane. Beautiful building tastefully restored, staff helpful and discreetly attentive. Photos don't do full justice to the complex interiors of Fassi architecture, this is a gem. Really comfortable with great attention to detail in making your stay special.
