Uitstekend ontbijt in een feeëriek kader. Hele mooie riad met verzorgde, niet super luxueuze kamers, maar dit kan je gezien de prijs ook niet verwachten. Accomodatie zeker aan te raden.

Cons: Het enige minpuntje is de 200 dirham (20 euro) die men aanrekende voor een telefoontje om een taxi te regelen. Bij exact dezelfde terugrit die we met de chauffeur regelden, betaalden we 200 dirham minder. Had niet gemoeten.

It was very close to the square. The breakfast was excellent every morning , and the staff was phenomenal they provided instructions on how to get to places and also ordered taxis for us that would actually go to the riad and pick us up at the door step. Elsa, the owner, when above and beyond to make our stay wonderful she didn't hesitate to go meet us on her day off when I had a meltdown she walked with us to the square Jemma el Fna and showed us around this action was not part of .the reservation, and yet Elsa took it upon herself to make sure we felt safe and comfortable with our stay in Marraquech. THANK YOU Riad up for all your kindness and service. You really made the difference

We had a great stay! On arrival, we were offered some mint tea while we sorted out the check-in, and Hadid provided us with a city map and pointed out a few key locations. The interior styling and general feel of the place was relaxed but chic. It is remarkable how the Riad feels so calm and yet it is only a few minutes away from the main square and all of the action. The breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. The taxi pick up was smooth as was the check out process. I would not hesitate recommending this to others or returning.

Cons: It was extremely difficult to find .Not well sign posted and it cost us €15 euros for a guy to help us find the Riad after paying a taxi from the bus stop which also was expensive… We were concerned that the bedroom could not be locked from the inside and a small padlock was the only mechanism to secure the bedroom door from the outside.This issue needs to be addressed.

Cons: The owner made us pay in the local currency even though we were using a credit card. She claimed that it was beneficial to us and even though we'd heard otherwise, we went along with her recommendation because one of us was sick. Later we found that we had paid $20 more than we would have had we paid in dollars. We felt cheated.

Breakfast was lovely Pancakes , yoghurt , fresh fruit, squeezed orange juice just beautifully presented . We had it on the roof top terrace . Dinner was absolutely unbeatable . The chicken just “ fell off the bone” . Perfectly quiet in the room, despite being a stones throw from the market streets with excellent air-con Elsa recommended a fab spa which we used and ordered us a taxi 🙂

Cons: Think it would’ve been nice to have roof top pool but not sure if that’s the norm . Also an outdoor key. Had to knock to get back in but there was someone there even at 11 at night . Also unclear about buying drink . We sort of had to ask if they had wine . The lady there was friendly but seemed a bit unclear what to offerus but found us a bottle of wine from the fridge . Everything else was pretty much perfect .

It is difficult to describe how beautiful this riad is. Every single detail of this place is so tasteful and harmonic that we hardly wanted to go outside of it. This place has a soul. The owner and the staff is super-friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also excellent. Beds are super comfortable. There is a reliable outdoor parking space near the hotel. If I could recommend only one hotel in Morocco to stay at I would recommend this riad for sure.

it’s just a few steps away from the Medina but still you get to enjoy the calm and relaxing atmosphere inside. The owner and staff are so kind and just willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They helped me organise a hot air balloon surprise for my husband, took good care of him when he didn’t feel great, and cooked us delicious meals.

Riad Up is located in an excellent position, in the centre of the Medina. It is beautifully decorated, with some modern touches. Our room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were lovely, however water was not included in the cost. Breakfast was served early for us as we were leaving for a tour, which was very helpful. The pickup service from the airport was well organised and our driver very kind.

Cons: I think that the price for the dinner provided was slightly high, compared to what we have experienced in other Riads.

We are so happy that we decided to stay at this amazing, quiet and sort of secret riad. Really good located in medina but still a bit away from the noisy part. Elsa along with other staff were amazingly friendly, helping out with cooling our champagne, calling taxis, teaching us how to bargain, lending us glasses and many other things. We loved coming inside the hotel during evenings after a busy day sightseeing in Marrakesh – door was always opened by smiling and friendly staff, everything lit with candles giving such charming and cosy vibe. Nice breakfast just outside our room. We can´t recommend this place enough and we will come back for sure! Great value for money.

A modern-style riad (though still retains historic charm) in a good location though hard to find in the beginning and unclear where to park (also challenging to drive to the area near the riad...what an adventure. GPS helps but still confusing and super chaotic with bikes and scooters and pedestrians flying around you). The area is quiet at night. Good breakfast though low in proteins.

Cons: It'd have been nice for the staff to be able to speak just a bit more English (though they are better at French) and could help us navigate and orient ourselves a bit during the beginning upon arrival. They seemed just a tad distant compared to our experiences elsewhere but, again, I'd recommend this place and stay there again!

Cons: The location. As a foreigner you read how amazing it is to escape the busy medina, but I think they also forgot to mention how dangerous it actually can be. Its in a very small alley. Too bad we got followed by people twice in the middle of the night. Good thing that I called the reception to pick us up. The only downgrade was the location but the boss handled it very very well by shortening our stay without extra fees.

Elsa the owner met our taxi and walked us to this beautiful hidden riad. Once inside, we were amazed at just how beautiful and serene the entire place was. We sat and had tea and biscuits with Elsa while we checked in and talked about the space. We were also happily greeted by a tortoise, turtle, and a very friendly cat. My husband decided to take a dip in the pool despite it being late in the day and the water being a bit chilly. The rooms and courtyard were very quiet and we found ourselves loathe to leave the riad. In fact, we did take away dinner just so we could spend more time on the terrace. What more can you ask for in a place to stay? Our only regret was that we were only staying for one night. Next time, we will stay longer.

The hotel was quiet and calm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is an extremely neat and clean riad. Every surface is dust-free and I feel so comfortable staying here. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Thank you for making my stay a pleasant one!

Everything about the Riad was perfect. The staff and service, location and facilities. We were really well looked after by the owner, we would definitely return here.

We had a wonderful stay. The riad owner, Elsa was very nice. She helped in confirming our day tour bookings and made sure we were safe, as we don't know French. The transfers to and from the airport were on the dot. She allowed us to check out late as our flight was at 6pm yet.

Small, simple, quiet and yet very stylish - a perfect counterpoint to the hustle and bustle of the souks and to the Arabian nights bling on display in many other places. Good value too.

Elsa ist eine herausragende Gastgeberin, persönlich für einen da, engagiert und sehr hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns gleich persönlich zum Jamaa el Fna geführt und uns eine Karte mit Ihren persönlichen Empfehlungen gegeben. Am zweiten Abend gabs ein Abendessen, zubereitet von Ihrer Köchin und wir müssen zugeben, dass kein Restaurant mithalten konnte. Wer also die Möglichkeit hat im Riad W selbst bekocht zu werden, wir können es sehr sehr sehr empfehlen. Elsa hat sich um alles gekümmert, einen Ausflug zur "la pause" inklusive Transfer, sowie den Transfer zum Flughafen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr persönlich und man fühlt sich als Ihr persönlicher Gast, nicht wie ein Hotelgast. Also alle Daumen hoch für das Riad W. PS: Es ist schwer zu finden, wer sich also abholen lassen kann, sollte das machen :-) Uns haben die Kinder der Stadt dorthin geführt, gegen ein kleines Trinkgeld.
