The riad's employees were very helpful and mindful. They always greeted us and were available non-stop. The location is right near the central market and near good restaurants but tucked away enough to not hear all the commotion from the street.

Cons: The fact that we had to always knock on the door to get it. If the weather is cold then it seems they don't have a good way of warming the room (probably because most of the time is warm in Morocco) The breakfast could be more consistent If you get a room at -1 you will not have wireless access to the internet

A beautiful riad in a calm alley, right next to the hustle and bustle of the Medina. The staff, Isham, Mohammed and Soufiane were the most friendly and helped my mom and I with all our needs. The building is beautiful and well taken care of, so we were delighted to wake up and come back to Riad Mehdia every day. Breakfast was really good and different everyday. We'd highly recommend a stay here.

Cons: Only the WiFi in our room was not super good (it was semi on -1 floor, but in the rest of the Riad it was perfect so not really an issue.

Alles was perfect!

The room was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was included, and it was different every day, with a mix of savory and sweet traditional flavors. The location was very convenient, very close to the central square and near shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Muhammad! He was the best host, always ready to help with any questions we had, and always with a smile on his face. 🙂

Cons: We stayed in a terrace room, which offered a lovely space to enjoy tea, but it was also quite cold. We were there in November, and although the outside temperature was not very low, the room felt colder than outside, especially at night. There was an AC, but it did not seem to work properly for heating the room. Sleeping was manageable since we had blankets, but we missed the overall coziness of the room at night. Two other small things to note: the lighting in the room was quite low, and the Wi-Fi connection was not very strong.

Camera molto pulita e magistralmente ripristinata ogni mattina.

Wow! This beautiful riad is exquisitely traditional, spotlessly clean and in a perfect location. The hammam spa and massage were blissful. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff I met (Mohammed and Isham) I felt like family by the time I left. A perfect oasis in the chaotic medina. I would come back in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone.

Cons: I agree what others have said about the lighting, but I guess this is the moroccan riad cultural way. Also the beds and pillows are a little hard.

A személyzet rendkívül kedves, segítőkész. A tisztaság kifogástalan. A riad gyönyörű. A reggeli finom, frissen facsart narancslé, kávé hideg/meleg tejjel, omlett, méz, lekvárok, stb. A növények szépen gondozottak. Fantasztikus kilátás a tetőteraszról.

What can I say. Me and my friend stayed for three nights and wanted for nothing. We were treated like family; nothing was too much trouble for Soufiane or Muhammad. We stayed in the roof terrace room, which was furnished beautifully and cleaned every day. Our breakfasts were superb and never the same. Riad Mehdia was perfectly situated, a short walk to the Market square and the Souks. If you've never experienced a Hammam, do book one. Relaxing, invigorating. It was a perfect way to end our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Soufiane, Mohammed, and Hicham, whose kindness and hospitality instantly made us feel at home. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect, offering thoughtful recommendations and always greeting us with a smile. The Riad itself is a beautifully preserved and tastefully decorated traditional home, full of character and charm. Every detail—from the intricate tilework to the softly lit alcoves—reflects the spirit of Moroccan design. Our room was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable, a peaceful retreat after our daily adventures. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served on the ground floor beneath the shade of banana trees. It was a tranquil setting, where time seemed to slow down as we sipped fresh juice and sampled homemade bread and pastries. After a rejuvenating Hamam and relaxing massage, I was served mint tea on the rooftop terrace—a thoughtful gesture I’ll never forget. The view from up there was breathtaking, with the Atlas Mountains stretching across the horizon, a moment of absolute serenity. The Riad is ideally located in the heart of the Medina—peacefully tucked away yet just a short walk from the vibrant souks, historic sites, and local eateries. We explored most of the area on foot, which made the experience even more immersive and special. Our stay was truly unforgettable, not only because of the beauty of the place but because of the warmth and care of Soufiane, Mohammed, and Hicham. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this Riad to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and heartwarming experience in Marrakesh.

We loved the rooftop terrace especially to see the stars at night. The breakfast was lovely consisting of bread, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, mint tea and orange juice. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive.

We were immediately made very welcome in this lovely authentic Riad with a beautiful internal courtyard, pool, roof garden and tradional hammam. The food they served us both for breakfast and supper was excellent. All the staff was very kind and flexible and attended to all our needs. We also enjoyed an authentic hammam as a couple with a relaxing massage afterwards by a very competent lady. The location is very convenient being adjacent the central square and close to most of the interesting sites in the city. I recommend it for a superb stay in this dynamic city

Cons: Apart from feeling a bit cold in the early morning (we visited in mid January), there is nothing we did not like

There is a lot of choice of Riads and it can be difficult to decide. I'll make it easy for you - choose Riad Mehdia. A fantastic location in the In the heart of the Medina but yet still tranquil. Traditionally Moroccan with such a warm welcome. Soufiane, Mohammed and the other staff looked after us as if we were long lost friends. We loved our traditional room. And we loved the breakfast. I'm gluten free and they catered for me so well. Gluten free bread, crepes and omelette, and the nicest fresh juice in Marrakech. We also liked Mohammed's warm welcome as we returned back in the evening after dinner. The Hamman and massage were a particularly lovely experience for me. It was a beautiful, memorable stay. If you're looking for an authentic real experience of the best of Marrakesh where you're looked after.door-to-door, look no further. If I could give it a score of 12 out of 10, I would.

Cons: The fact we had to leave to come home. If we visit Marrakech again, we will definitely stay at Riad Mehdia!

Generous breakfast Lovely staff Excellent location

Cons: We came in a cold time and the rooms were too cold for our liking. We tried to turn the AC to the max temperature to see if it would heat up but it wasn’t warm. We used the second cover but we were still a bit cold. A bit dark, maybe put stronger lights?

Soufiane was the perfect host and really made sure we felt at home. From booking day trips, sorting out taxis, arranging earlier breakfasts when necessary, and organising a lovely spa day, we couldn't have asked for better hospitality. The riad itself is as beautiful as the pictures describe and is full of charm! I especially loved the terrace for reading after the business in the Medina, and the plant-filled courtyard where we had breakfast every morning. The location was perfectly set in the middle of the Medina, right by the Bahia Palace, but as soon as you shut the door, you entered a lovely calm atmosphere.

Cons: I really loved everything for the most part. If we were being picky, the ensuite bathroom was only separated by a curtain as opposed to a door, so it wasn't the most private. We also had to ring the doorbell each time we wanted to enter the riad and were scolded for using the knocker instead when we'd waited a while. Would advise getting rid of the knocker altogether if you don't want it to be used!

The hosts were fantastic and the service was very prompt. Youssef is a gem and he was very helpful in giving us tips on things to do and troubleshooting locally.

Cons: Not so much didn't like, but was a bit taken aback that the initial room we got had the bathroom with the bedroom in an 'open plan' which wasn't obvious on the booking page. However, soufiyan the manager arranged another room which was much better the next day so I csnt say I can complain!

Nice and cosy riad in the Medina, 5 minutes by walking from the main square. The strenghts of Mhedia Riad are the kindness and the customer attention of it’s personell. In particular, mr. Youssef, a very kind man, always available to help. The Place is clean, with traditional rooms, good breakfast with home made local food. We tried the massage service and it was good too.

Cons: Just one suggestion: our room was pretty dark, one light more would be useful:)

Our arrival was late and the night staff Soufianne met us near the Riad where the taxi parked. He helped us with our bags and guided us to the Riad. He prepared us some Moroccan tea and biscuits which were so nice. I also availed dinner from them which was delicious .The manager Soufianne and all of the staff were so wonderful too during our stay that they will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We booked our hammam and massage with them and it was the best. The location of the Riad is in the centre of Mehdina that is walkable to every attraction but inside the Riad was so peaceful it was like you're away from all the noise outside. The facilities were wonderful and they cleaned the room every day. Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed it a lot especially the homemade yogurt. Riad Mehdia is beautiful and all the people in it. If you want an affordable beautiful Riad with amazing staff in the centre of Mehdina you can never go wrong with Riad Mehdia.

The location is perfect and hospitality is top notch. Located in the heart of the Medina just a few steps from a small square with cafes and restaurants but just far enough outside the souks and main square that it was quiet and tranquil once inside the walls of the Riad. Our room was on the top floor with a beautiful rooftop patio just outside. It was a Berber style room which was unexpected but it was a cozy space.

Cons: Keep in mind, it is Riad so the room was quite small and dark. The room could have used one more wall sconce and it was really only for two people max with luggage.

The hosts were amazing & so helpful - the riad itself was calm & peaceful, with beautiful decor & in an excellent location. This is needed after a day in the souks! It was cleaned daily & smelled lovely. We didn't have dinner but its prepared daily & everybody said it was lovely. They have hamam spa facilities but we chose to use a traditional place in the medina.

Cons: Nothing - my only feedback would be that breakfast could be improved by being a little more diverse & interesting - fresh fruit, eggs etc.

Everything was impeccable. I've never experienced the Moroccan friendlyness and I have to say I came to love it! The staff here is the friendliest I've ever seen in a hotel-like place, they even went out of their way to get us some incredible things, it didn't matter what it was, they instantly knew everything and helped us enormously! Normally you live somewhat apart from the staff, but they grew so much to my heart, I hope I'll see them all someday again ❤️ Literally everything was incredible, I can say a lot about the Riads in Marrakech, yet if other Riads are even comparable to this one, I couldn't believe it because everyone here is just so great. Normally when in a place the people are nice, most of the time the accommodations are rather lackluster, but they basically have everything you'd want, even their own Hammam! I could go on and on about their incredible cuisine (dinner here is a must do), or their great position (basically the Jemma El Fna is in perfect distance, as the place itself is very close, but far enough away for the noise by night not disturbing you when sleeping), but in total one can see, that they are a great place to visit 👍 Btw thank you so so much for everything, everyone was great, but I just have to admit that Mohammed is an asset for himself, I have never and not unlikely will never again witness such an excellent staff member and especially person :) In my humble opinion Mohammed can be regarded as reason for coming here in itself!

Cons: Literally nothing

The breakfast every morning was a highlight as well as the staff. They were so attentive and helpful for whatever was needed. You could tell that the team working really cared about the place. The facilities were great. They offered a hammam and massage service if requested, as well as a small pool and beautiful rooftop. The place is also very central to the main square and plenty of restaurants.

Everything about our stay was great, we felt right at home! The riad is located inside the medina close to most of the restaurants and attractions at a walking distance. The transfer service from and to the airport is very convient and highly recommend it, especially since Mohamed, the co-host, makes sure you are well taken care of from door to door. The private spa with typical Moroccan bath and message was an amazing experience and definitely worth doing. The room was clean, bed and towels were changed everyday and breakfast was varied with fresh juices, sweet and salty options. All the rooms have their own lock and we felt very safe. Overall, would highly recommend staying at Riad Mehdia, it’s a charming experience that will make all the difference!

Cons: It’s worth noting that the bathroom (twin room) does not have a door for privacy, however it is separated from the beds on higher floor.

Perfect in every way! I can’t fault anything - please please please ignore the low rating given by a review further down, which was clearly left by a disgruntled customer who evidently did not book accommodation according to their needs. A Riad is a homely, traditional place, which is obviously not what this customer was looking for. We absolutely LOVED our stay. From the moment we got there to the moment we left, the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating, not to mention really interesting to talk to and they gave us so much helpful information about our stay in Marrakech. The rooms were fantastic, clean, quirky (every room is different) and furnished beautifully. We especially loved the wooden doors which added to the traditional feel to this wonderful home. The breakfast was SUPERB. Every day something new, and all local. The staff made sure to tell us what it was that we were served and it was really interesting to learn about the local food. Breakfast is set in the inner courtyard of the Riad which is particularly quaint with its beautiful banana trees growing through the middle. Top floor has a rooftop terrace which again, was furnished beautifully with tables and sun loungers, perfect for the mornings and evenings to relax after a day in the Souks. This Riad was 100% better than any 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in, and I would thoroughly recommend if you are visiting Marrakech. In my opinion it is far better to stay in a traditional place like this to experience Morocco properly. Thank you to the hosts for their exceptional, 5 star service. We will be staying again for sure!!

Cons: There was absolutely nothing we could fault!

The staff, particularly Sofian and Mohamed, were attentive, efficient and helpful at all times. Breakfast was simple, but always fresh and delicious. We had dinner in the Riad on one of our nights, and it, too, was well prepared, fresh, tasty and more than ample. The sense of calm as you enter the Riad, in the courtyards and especially on the lovely roof terrace, was most welcoming after the chaos of the streets in the Medina. We absolutely recommend Riad Media for your stay in Marrakesh!

Cons: Our room was a bit small with very little space on either side of the bed, and we would have preferred the bathroom to be on the same level, not up stairs. That being said, the bed was very comfy and everything was spotlessly clean!

This is a beautiful quiet and unique little Riad in the centre of Marrakech. The traditional design is very lovely. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, such wonderful hosts. Marrakech is full of life and welcoming people, and they are happy for visitors to come since the earthquake. Breakfast is perfect and a lovely Moroccan dinner is available at the Riad, with yummy spices and unique flavours. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful, and public areas with a plunge pool, plants as well as roof top terrace make this accommodation even more special. Come and enjoy this quiet little oasis. The rooms were beautiful and very welcoming with comfortable beds and great facilities. The staff were also amazing particularly - Suffian and Hussein - THANK YOU SO MUCH! I also want to state that Marrakech was very safe and we had nothing to worry about. The earthquake was very far from Marrakech itself and the citizens were thriving. Please visit and support the region, they need the tourism for their business.

My friend and I stayed at the riad 5 nights. A beautiful, traditional old style riad in the heart of the city, walking distance to key sites. All staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming particularly Mohammed and Sufiyan. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard. We enjoyed a delicious traditional meal on the first night. Mohammed went above and beyond for us, always asking how our day was and smiley 😊 i loved the old style decor and the cooling pool came in handy for a dip after a long hot day. Would high recommend this riad as it felt essentially a home from home!

Cons: Our recommendations below as there were minor things , room for improvement - *Complimentary water bottle provided daily since they charge. *Tea coffee kettle facilities in room * Include a safe *More toiletries needed, seperate shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. Currently very basic all in one and given its a 5 star hotel, would expect more. Can source locally, would be a nice touch. *Long mirror in room *Daily breakfast fruit salad and omlette, if possible. I enjoyed the breakfast with different options but adding these 2 items daily would maximise the experience. *WiFi issues at times * Be aware taxi drivers won't stop outside the riyad due to access issues. Likely will charge extra to haul luggage to the riyad.

Look no further, this Riad is worth every single penny. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff - Soufiane and Mohamed had made our Marrakesh trip. Attention to detail, attentiveness, flexibility and how accommodating they had been was just phenomenal. The building itself is wonderful, 160 years (?) And most of the original fittings are still as it - the doors, the window metal work, tiling. Breakfast was amazing, different menu on every single day (although we could have had the same Morroccan omelette everyday because it was just that good). The mint tea the team prepares is the best in flavour - we had eaten out most of the week and none of the restaurant teas compare. There is a small pool, not big enough for adults to swim in so is for cooling down mainly but such an essential with the hot weather. We spent every day in and around the pool which is open to use at anytime. The room we had was great - couple of girls on a girlie trip and the beds were easily split into twins on request. Very spacious, lots of clothes storage and shelves for your stuff. The air con made sure we could sleep through the night in the heat. Nearly forgot (and not sure how) that they have a terrace to watch the sunset and just chill. It was a good size. I cannot stress how helpful and welcoming Soufiane and Mohamed had been. This trip would not have been so enjoyable if it weren't for these two and the team. I want to take them both home to look after us.

Cons: There is nothing we don't like, this Riad feels better than my own home (mainly because of the staff) but you may want to know this if you are a couple of girls like we are, in the room we stayed at there was only one mirror in the room (over sink in bathroom, plug nearby for hair styling though so big plus), so if you are likely to be getting ready to go out together, you might want to bring a small mirror. There is another full length one in the dining room downstairs so it hadn't been a problem. This shouldn't change your mind about staying here at all.

Great common areas. And absolutely fantastic roof top area. We did't eat there or use the spa (we talked to people who did, and they were happy about it). The raid is one block away from the shopping steet. Its ten minutes easy walk to the Jamaa el Fna-torget -sqaure, and the same distance to Bahia Palace in the other direction. Some really great restaurants nearby, for example we liked Naranj, a Lebanese restaurant.

Cons: Oups, we had so hight expectations for this raid, but it turned out to be the worst of the four places we stayed at in the country (all other got 9). So, sorry for low rating! The room was small and also dark. The bathroom crazy small and dark. And it was possible to see from the "lobby" to the toilet true the coloured window (I have a pic…). And between the bathroom and room was just a curtain to separate. Not so fresh. The breakfast could have more variety and inspiration. Maybe we got the worst room, just inside the entrance on the first floor, avoid.

Whatever we wanted he was able to recommend. Breakfast in the mornings was just right to set you up for the day of sightseeing and bartering.

Cons: Could not be faulted.

Mohamed (who did the night shift) was a very nice guy, always friendly and smiling. The Riad is beautiful and location is perfect.

Cons: The bed was quite hard and the breakfast was mostly bread. You can hear anyone speaking in the lobby downstairs but at night it was very quiet.

We had mother&daughter trip to Marocco. My dream was to stay in the real read and “Riad Mehdia” totally met our expectations: - The location: central and close to everything. Palaces and the main square are just 10 minutes walk; - The staff: special thanks to Mohammed who organised transfers for us to the airport and the trip to the Atlas Mountains; advised good restaurants near the hotel, organised the dinner in the hotel; helped to install the offline map to walk in the city. He is always smiling and welcoming, patient to all questions:) - The breakfast: fantastic, always with typical products we loved! Menta tea and Marocan pancakes are the best! - Dinner (was optional): we took once and we had it in the top of the read. Everything was fantastic!

Cons: Nothing :)

My girlfriend and I had the most wonderful time at Riad Mehdia. The staff were so lovely and incredibly attentive - nothing was ever an issue. The room was absolutely stunning (we stayed in one of the rooms in the rooftop). Breakfast was also fantastic and included different dishes everyday - a really nice touch. Location was perfect too, right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the old city. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better riad to stay at while in Marrakech. It made our trip all the more special so thank you to all the staff at Riad Mehdia (in particular Mohammed who was always there to look after us). We will definitely be staying here whenever we visit Marrakech again!

Beautiful, quiet Riad right in the best part of the Medina, very close to Jamaa El fna. the host was very gracious, friendly and accommodating. There’s even a spa on site with wonderful massages and hammam.

Friendly staff, well maintained in the property and in the room, all functioning well.

Cons: Room at the rooftop can become very warm, but air-conditioning is functioning well. Short bed (180cm) in the room, for me at nearly 200cm not too comfy. Breakfast is ok, but should have more variety (eg. fruits, savoury etc) for this money.

Small Riad with plunge pool and roof terrace, beautifully decorated. Walking distance to main sites. Riad has small plunge pool, Hamman and roof terrace where you could ask for drinks.

Cons: Our room was on the ground floor near entrance so quite dark and noisy with doorbell / breakfast just outside. Manager did move us for last night to a much nicer room.

We stayed 2 night and we loved our staying at Riad mehdia. The staff is very welcoming and gentle, they make us feel like home since the first moment we arrived at the Riad! Many thanks to Mohammed and Soufiane, your smile and your kindness made the difference! The structure itself is really nice, there is plenty of space where to relax and also a rooftop with sunbeds and tables. also, the position is very strategic, really close to the main square. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the style was really nice. Breakfast is very generous with lots of typical food! highly recommended!

Super nice staff, a great location, and a relaxing space in the busy city. Breakfast is special, and they will arrange any other extra meal you may need. They can set up many different experiences for you: we can absolutely recommend the hammam (traditional sauna) + massage, and the dinner under the stars in the desert just outside Marrakesh. Deffo will use the same lodging should I visit the city again!

Cons: WiFi connection was not great in our room. But hey we were there to relax after all!

Great location. In a side street but not so there was the chance of getting lost or feeling uncomfortable. A few minutes from the spice market and 10 minutes to the main square. Lots of places to eat and near tourist attractions. The staff were fantastic and we had a massage there which was wonderful. Breakfast was ample and varied although some fruit would have made it even better. The roof terrace was lovely.

Cons: Not a massive deal but you had to ring the doorbell to get in. It was answered in under a minute but some of the other people staying came back quite late and the doorbell woke us up. There wasn't any WiFi in the room. We had to sit in the doorway or go downstairs which would be lovely in summer but we were there in February/March so it was a bit cool. On the upside I read two books!

this is my second time staying here. the property is gorgeous. Soufiane is the best host and he helped me SO MUCH when I had an issue and made me feel like I was with family. the breakfast is generous and I love the woman who does the hammam and massage. they give you tea on arrival and make sure you feel good about your check-in. the property is close to the main square and just a few steps from some of my favorite restaurants in the city. I will be returning again in May and August. I like knowing i can come back to the same place over and over again. also, their Wi-Fi has improved since I was here in September!! thank you for everything

Cons: nothing bad here

Beautiful Riad and super centrally located. only 5 mins walk to the square. The staff, both Soufian and Mohammed, were incredibly kind and helpful. We received genuine hospitality which is rare to come across in such a central tourist location. We often came back to our Riad just to get a mental breather from the chaos of the city and it felt like a little oasis. Thank you Mohammed and Soufian.

Cons: Addition of heater in the downstairs breakfast area during winter times would be appreciated. it gets a bit chilly in communal areas (mid-January).

Highly recommend this Riad! My girlfriend and I originally booked here for 4 nights and ended up staying 5. The place is sparkling clean, breakfast was brilliant and Mohammed is probably the nicest person in Marrakesh. Anything we needed, Mohammed knew what we needed and was the most welcoming host we have ever experienced. It’s also a short walk to the medina, 5 minutes or so and has a great rooftop. Highly recommend and thank you so much! Kirstin and colm

Beautiful ,relaxing is to say the least. Our host Soufiane was exceptionally helpful from directing our taxi driver, as our booked car didn't arrive to booking us a fine traditional Moroccan meal with entertainment as it was my Lady's birthday. In between this our room was beautiful and in traditional fashion, which we loved, it was kept superbly clean as the staff here are very attentive. The Riad is situated perfectly on the edge of the square yet the location easily permits a walking tour of the fine attractions Marrakech has to offer .... Let's not forget breakfast on the terrace ... 10/10 Soufiane. :)

We loved everything about this property. Really close to the square. A hidden gem and once inside you felt relaxed. Really beautiful features and the roof terrace was perfect. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Always on hand to help if needed. The breakfasts where fabulous. we didn’t eat lunch or dinner at this property (just didn’t have the time) but it looked amazing. Our bed was so comfortable and the room spacious and very clean. Each day they cleaned the room which we didn’t expect.

this place is GORGEOUS. The inside of the rooms have beautiful decor and the hotel has courtyards filled with plants, fountains, and dreamy sunlight. I did a hammam spa service one day inside the hotel and that was so refreshing. The breakfast on the rooftop is perfect each morning. The staff is so so nice, so accommodating and anticipate every need and made me feel safe and welcome. The riad was absolutely beautiful. I loved the courtyard and the rooftop terrace. Both are great areas to relax and given how busy the surrounding area is, it is surprisingly quiet. The room was super comfortable and the details on the furniture, the mosaic walls, the furnishings… just everything was so well done that I was left wondering if I can recreate even a little bit of it in my home. The attention to detail is exactly on point for both the property and the staff. The manager is one of the nicest people I have ever met. My dad got sick from bronchitis and he went above and beyond to help make sure we were comfortable. He was very helpful and always with a smile on his face. He makes you feel as though you are the only guest he has to take care of. The riad is only a handful of minutes from the bazaar, so it’s easy to simply go wander around during your down time. If you want to go outside of the old city just ask the staff to call a cab for you. Would love to stay again. Actually, the manager was so nice my mom and I not only got a photo with him but I was almost ready to tell him that if he was ever in town, he should come stay with us 😀

Riad Mehdia is a fantastic place to stay in the old part of Marrakech. It's very close to the main attractions and easy to get in and out of. Additionally it is a beautiful home that has roof decks to long on and 2 court yards to enjoy. The staff is very helpful and willing to accommodate most needs

Enjoyable but slightly frustrating at times. Absolutely stunning Riad in an amazing location and with beautiful facilities. However the service was somewhat frustrating for the price of the stay. The riad were very accommodating and helped us to book an extra night with them. However on arrival we were told we had to pay for this by 6pm that evening (despite being tired from travelling all day and staying for 5 nights - maybe some previous trouble with people leaving and not paying?). We were showed to our room (which was beautiful), but did not lock. The staff were aware of this and reminded but there was no effort to try fix this. Luckily we felt extremely safe and the staff were lovely so we kept expensive items on us and had to leave it unlocked. On a couple occasions no one was available to answer the door to the riad, leaving us outside in the medina street. Was answered eventually and staff were extremely apologetic. Breakfast delicious (although bread felt stale) and property was spotless! The woman in the property work all day cleaning the entire property and their work did not go unnoticed! They offer tours through the riad which I personally believe to be extremely overpriced but no pressure to go with them. Overall I'd say this place this perfect for short stays, but maybe could find somewhere better for the price. Although i would stay here again (but not for as long as we did).

Lovely riad. We were so happy to have chosen this one out of all the available options! Perfect location- a short walk away from the big square and the palaces and the mellah. The staff are so lovely and always happy to assist. This is about 5 minutes walk from Jemaa el Fna and very close to other tourist attractions. Its easy to find once you know where it is. Just remember this is a Riad and not a hotel, you will hear people in the court yard, and you will need to be quiet entering and exiting out of hours to respect the other guests. Most staff had a decent understanding of English and fluent French. I think if you are on the ground floor this will be ok for someone with limited mobility, although you would need help to go upstairs to the roof top garden - although my room on the ground floor had a bath only so you would need enquire / consider this also. I also had hammam and a massage which I can highly recommend. Breakfast is huge, which is great if you are out all day. It is very heavy, so if you are very health conscious I would suggest having the fresh orange juice and purchasing a muesli or similar.
