The riad is very pretty, clean and does not have that funny smell I endured in 3 previous riads I stayed in other cities. But the best thing about Amra is the exceptional service from Ibraheem, the manager. He is a rare gem!
Cons: Nothing to complain about. Except perhaps the pool should be described more appropraitely.

Riad Amra is very close to everything inside the medina and host is much more than a simple host, he is much more like your personal assistant, he helps you in everything, very kind and helpful person, thanks for your kind hospitality, bro! The roof terrace is amazing, the perfect place to rest after a long day! We loved Riad Amra, it is not a 5-star hotel, but an authentic maroccon riad in the heart of the historical medina, really recommended!
Cons: It is the perfect place if you want to stay inside the medina. Very good.

A beautiful little riad close to the medina but in a quiet spot. Ibrahim is a wonderful friendly host with lots of suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The room was a good size, bed really comfortable and the shower was fab. No issues with water pressure, but there is a note in the bathroom from management to explain that it may fluctuate, which I thought was a nice touch. Lots of plants around the riad, and a great 2 level roof terrace with lovely bright decor. Would definitely stay here again!
Cons: Nothing!

Consigliato. Lo risveglierei per una prossima volta

Nice and stylish Riad very close to the Medina (just 10 minutes walk). The staff is super friendly and my room was very cosy, clean ans quiet. Good one: the AC is not blowing directly on the bed -might be a minor thing but gives really comfortable sleep. Secured parking is not far away for everyone who wants to travel by car. I really recommend the Riad as a fair alternative to raising prices around.

Central location in the old medina. Beautiful entrance, authentic furniture, relaxed and beautiful rooftop terrace. The personal was super friendly and helped us with all our questions. They even did our laundry for free! So awesome service!
Cons: In the room we had a lot of little flies. We suppose they come from the canal, waterpipes in the shower and sink. It also smelled a little bit funny. I guess that’s an easy fix for the owner. Also most people won’t mind but it bothered us a bit.

1. All pictures are realistic 2. Kindness of the staff. The receptionist told us about all sights he recommended to visit and he pointed them on the phone map 3. Breakfast was home made and it was tasty 4. The hotel is placed in the center of Medina-walking distance from the restaurants, historical places 5. You can pay for staying by card or by cash 6. You are given two keys. One is from the room door and another one is of the maid entrance. So it is comfortable to come in and outside when you like 7. There are two terraces on the roof for sunbathing 8. Extra blanket if you travel in winter
Cons: All was good but it would be better to have safe

My first trip to Marrakech and after much research I decided to book here. I loved it! The location is perfect, everything was within walking distance and easy to access. I had a superior room on the roof and it was a fabulous room. Nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable! Ibrahim was especially helpful and went out of his way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The owner was also very helpful and took time to load a helpful app on my phone so that I could get around Marrakech really easily. Breakfast was traditionally Morrocan and very tasty. Highly recommended and I’ll be back!

The staff is beyond amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed everyone from the transfer drivers, Ibrahim & the owner. I came to Marrakesh solo with my 3 year old daughter and everyone made sure we were safe, went above and beyond to help with my daughter and tried to help distract/calm her if she was a little fussy. They never overstepped boundaries, never pushed for tips, always did an amazing job. Thank you so much to everyone. The AC gets cold! It is a very quiet area with all of the main attractions within a 10 minute walk. They even kept 3 big suitcases for me while I went to Italy for a short trip. Everything is phenomenal. I will stay here again if I’m ever in Marrakesh
Cons: Everything was great.

Ibrahim made our stay very comfortable. We were supposed to be picked up at 7am and he prepared breakfast at 6:30 for us. Thank you Ibrahim for your hospitality! Also, the hammam just right next in the corner is a must visit. Book early, since they get booked out easily. I highly recommend this riad! We also availed of their airport transfer.
Cons: Quite pricey

Great medina (right at the heart of the old town and markets) location. Good staff; young Ibrahim is great staff. Even free Netflix and chill 😎
Cons: Feedback only, not a dislike: Breakfast can be improved though; but still great (seems more of Morocco experience than unique to this Riad only; breakfast limited in choices etc). But definitely good place for few nights stay. There are many more riads try out as many as possible.

My friend and I were welcomed very warmly by Ali and Mouad. We immediately felt safe and secure. The room was very nice and tidy and was cleaned very well every day! Ali and Mouad were always ready to help us. Also to have a nice chat with. They make you feel very at home! We enjoyed our stay very very much and if we ever come back to Marrakech, we will definitely come back to Riad Amra! No doubt!
Cons: My friend and I don't really have anything negative to say about our stay at Riad Amra. We would recommend it to everyone!

We woke up to a delightful typical breakfast each morning which we very much look forward to! The staff at the Riad were extremely helpful and welcoming. They couldn’t do enough for us which we really appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the whole property tastefully decorated. We were in the heart of the beating and hectic city but we felt like it was our small oasis in the Medina. The location was perfect. I would totally recommend this cute place with the best staff and hosts! Ali, Mouad and Aisha. Thank you kindly.
Cons: There’s nothing we didn’t like.

Riad Amra is amazing! Very nicely located in the old Medina part of Marrakesh. A 3 minutes walk only from the point where the taxi drops you. Ali from the hotel greeted us in the evening with amazing Moroccan Mint Tea and sweet treats. He was super helpful with the check in process and later giving us insights of the surrounding sight seeing. He even helped us with a luggage through the stairs to the room. The room we booked was at the roof. The room was very basic with beautifully designed furnitures. Toilet was okay. They gave us complimentary drinking water, which is not so common in Morocco I think. The rooftop was very nice. The highlitght of the riad is the inner courtyard. It was amazing, nicely decorated with beautiful furniture and decors. The Moroccan breakfast was delicious. In short, we loved our stay, highly recommended.
Cons: The room was small, but given limitations of the old riad houses, I think its common and okay.

The location is perfect. Near a good parking place, named parking voitures, we paid 85 DH per day/night for a secured and shaded place. It is close to spa heritage. And the place is perfect. It looks wonderful inside and the rooftop terras is also a gift. The breakfast is delicious. Ali and his companions are super polite and gave us all good information. We had a wonderful time there.
Cons: Nothing.

At the center of the Medina in a very good location. While being in the center, it is recessed on a small side street for complete peace and tranquility while you are in the road, no outside noise can be heard for a peaceful sleep. Ali and the owners are incredibly helpful, kind and accommodating. The riad is modern and rooms are well equipped with TV, AC and amenities for the shower. Very clean and well kept grounds. A MUST stay!
Cons: Nothing - all was perfect :)

It was aesthetically pleasing! The downstairs was amazing! The breakfast was very nice in the morning, and our room looked lovely.
Cons: The bed/pillows were hard. So it wasn’t the most comfortable of sleeps. The pressure from the shower also made it very hard to have a good wash. But these were things we could work around and still enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was good and included a fried egg, a couple different types of breads, a couple of cakes, crepes, butter, jam and coffee. It was not buffet style, but prepared for each table individually upon request. I would’ve liked to have a bit more diversity in terms of food, but I understand the limitations given the relatively small number of guests.
Cons: The room was a bit smaller than expected and there were no windows to the outside, just a small window to the central sitting area of the riad; this is understandable though given the layouts of these kinds of buildings.

This Riad is one of the best hotel experiences we ever had. The host made us feel welcome and helped us with getting to know Marrakesh. The riad is near everything you want to see. I often travel alone, not this time, and I would feel comfortable sleeping here alone (and getting home safely).

This is a very cute Riad just off from the central hustle and bustle. Great value for money. Excellent location and close to walk everywhere and it felt more authentic. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby too. Our host was wonderful, very kind, friendly, and helpful. We were offered a welcome Moroccan mint tea which was a nice touch. The rooms are nicely decorated and all basics are provided except for a hair dryer. I liked that the communal spaces are kept quiet, it was nice to unwind after a busy day.
Cons: Our room (Rabat) was not well-ventilated and it smelled damp with noticeable water stains on the ceiling. The beds are quite hard. Rooms would benefit from mini-fridges. Breakfasts are plentiful of local crepes, cakes, and bread. But not so great for someone with coeliac disease. They did offer eggs/ yogurt, and fruit, but on a daily rotation. It was a little strange and I often left breakfast still hungry. Not the case for my partner. Gluten-free bread was offered but for an additional 3 euros per day... I thought that was a little cheeky and expensive. The preparation and worry about cross-contamination of the bread was a worry, so I opted out. It would have been nice if more local fruit were offered. It was pomegranate season, and not a single pomegranate in sight.

Pretty ok for a stay over one night. Maybe not longer.
Cons: Be aware that if it’s some celebration going on in the city, it will be probably quite noisy in the room from a bar/street below on the street at night. Our room was on the top towards the open sky facing the courtyard but wooden door doesn’t make any sound insulation. It was hard to sleep. I would also recommend to the Riad Management to add some cheese or some other protein to the breakfast, because it was only carbohydrates and sugar. And change the energy saving cold white lamp for a warm light color in the room. I also recommend to travelers to take and pay in cash to avoid extra weird fees added by the host just because we payed with a card. Finally, if you take a taxi yourself from a street to go to the airport, it must cost7 0dh (€7), good to know if you think whether it’s worth ordering from a Riad.

Very well presented Riad with an almost sea side feel to it. The rooms were cosy, clean and comfortable. The host (Ali) was exceptional, very polite, friendly and helpful, he also makes the best traditional mint tea in Marrakech.
Cons: The only thing if I had to choose something, was space in our room for clothes. We had a small wardrobe and a table with chair, it may have been more useful to have a second small wardrobe instead of the table with chair.

Además olía bastante mal, a cañerías.

I booked a night at the Amra but was put in Riad Balkisse instead. Apparently the Amra was overbooked and I just had to deal with it. These riad management offered no discounts and kept saying it was an "upgrade". I wouldn't have stood for this kind of service but I arrived back from the desert very late and all I wanted was a bed and a shower. The "upgraded" Balkisse was in an alley behind the Jamaa el fna which took ages to find, the riad is rundown and the manager just doesn't seem to care about customers. They should learn some maths as well as the Euro dinar exchange rate seem to be out of this world (charging 11 dinar per Euro when the market was barely 10). Not happy with this place at all. Avoid at all costs.

The hotel is an excellent bargain for the comfort of the room. If you understand that you are paying 30 euro for a reason. I would rate it as 45 euro quality for the price of 30 euro. Some ISSUES: do not be fooled by the advertisement that there is a swimming pool-it is a water fountain at best. It is literally a 5 foot by 10 foot puddle that is not heated. The biggest annoyance is that hotel tour booking services: Do NOT book any excursions through the hotel. We did a one-night/two day camel riding tour in the desert. After talking to other people on the tour we paid (by far) the most for the tour. We paid 65 euro per person. There were 4 people on the tour that paid 30 euro per person, most people paid 40 euro per person and there was one other couple that paid 60 euro per person. The hotel has a printed brochure with a set price. It is a racket. 50 euro can go a long ways in a place like Marrakesh and the hotel deceived us and robbed us. BACK to the good stuff though...the hotel is clean, cheap, and a ten minute walk to the souks and center. Overall, the hotel itself, is a good value.
