Fajny riad z tarasem i małym basenem na najwyższym piętrze, śniadanie raczej skromne, przy samym placu żydowskim. Super miła i pomocna obsługa.

We stayed here for a week and couldn’t have been happier. The location is convenient for getting places but down a quiet alley, so away from the noise of the hustle and bustle. We booked two rooms and both were spacious and clean. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Ahmed especially was amazing and went out of his way to help make sure we had the best stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The riad is beautiful, 10 minutes away from the main square of Marrakech. We had the roof terrace family suite and it was very large ,just perfect for a family of 4. A peaceful place right front of the busy city . The staff were all very friendly especially Nouredine who welcomed us every morning with a lovely breakfast. The roof pool was a life saver as it hit 36 degrees at the beginning of April.
Cons: Small detail but the sun lounger were really heavy to lift on the terrace and if you want to be sunbathing it's hard to turn them around.

Our room was big and the bed was very comfortable. Since the neighbours were not very loud we could sleep well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's nice to start a day with a breakfast.
Cons: There are some constructions along the walkway to the Riad, so there is more dirt and movement. There were 2 options of room for our booking and we got less pretty one, which was spacious and comfortable, simply less pretty. The cupboard were very used and therefor didn't look clean. Out of season the roof top is not really taken care of. Looks a bit messy. Water in the pool looked clean but it was too cold to try it.

We stayed on the ground floor, off the main courtyard. Beutifully designed, spacious room with ample lighting and plenty of storage space. Comfortable beds. Big bathroom. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit & juice. The 24hrs manned reception is a great plus. All staff are very kind and extremely helpful. The courtyard and lounge/dining area are inviting with nice artwork. Riad is in a quiet lane ,(easy to find) close to El Badi Palace and 15 minutes walk to Jemaa El Fna.
Cons: One of the bathroom bins wasn't emptied prior to our arrival or on the 1st day, possibly an oversight as overall it was very clean.

We enjoyed our stay at the Riad Alegria, a very stylish and beautiful riad with spacious, comfortable rooms. Lovely terrace & small pool (too cold to use in winter). Nourdine was very helpful & kind, he booked a local Sahara group tour for us which was good for the price (but we would recommend spending more money to get heating inside the tent as it’s freezing in the desert!). Ahmed was also delightful! Thank you both!

Traditional Riad in the heart of the city. Was quiet inside as it was up an alleyway near the Badi Palace was hard to find at first as I thought was on a street. The small cool roof pool was lovely after a long day hiking.Sorry to not get dinner as I arrived after 8 and left too early for breakfast. The room came with a 15 euro food and drink credit that excluded food and alcohol so I could only have coke and soft drinks which was a shame I'm not a fan of many sweet drinks.

Some reviews of Riads get carried away with a romantic notion of the quaint nature of the buildings. At the end of the day they may be different and colourfully decorated but if they can’t provide the same basic services and facilities as other accomodations I don’t believe they be rated so highly. Check the admin and city tax charges too.

Spotlessly clean with super comfortable bed and so quiet you forget the bustle of the Medina outside. Beautifully decorated with lots of communal space to relax. The manager (Nourdine) was so attentive when I was unwell and allowed us to stay all day past checkout whilst we waited for a late flight. The pool was a lifesaver when it was hot. Worth every cent if you want a quiet retreat close to the market square.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Riad Alegria for a 5-night trip to celebrate the New Year. Noureddine and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and could not have done more for us during our time there. We made full use of all the facilities, from our first night with drinks in front of the open fire, a full body scrub and relaxing massage at the on-site hammam, to spending New Years Eve with a friend we made in Marrakech up on the roof terrace after a delicious Moroccan meal served downstairs. In our room the bed was very comfortable, and the heating/AC unit kept the room at our preferred temperature. Location-wise, we felt that the riad was well-located, in a couple of minutes you can be in a lively square with plenty of bars and restaurants. The famous Jemaa el-Fna square is only a 10-12 minute walk away, in a straight line once you leave the riad’s street which is really handy given the maze of corridors that makes up the Medina. We felt so lucky and very well looked after by Noureddine that should we ever find ourselves in Marrakech in the future, we would not hesitate in returning to the Riad Alegria. Thank you to everyone at the riad for amazing our stay so memorable.

A great location & good facilities with lots of character. Lovely roof terrace & spacious rooms. The staff were very attentive, helpful & charming.
Cons: Mostly it was a very nice. Attention to the small things would have made it better. The pillows were lumpy and the toilet needed to be sat on with care!(why are Moroccan toilets not fixed properly?)Some brighter lighting in the rooms would make it less gloomy. The cats on the beautiful roof terrace made for an over powering smell which rather spoilt the experience if one wanted to sit up there. Difficult but not impossible to sort..

The Riad is very lovely. The location is accessible and easy to navigate - it is in a straight alley along with other riads and Riad Alegria is at the end. The interior is beautiful as in pictures. We arrived late and welcomed by Aziz with lovely Moroccan tea. He is very helpful, same for other staffs. We are briefed on the city and where to go etc. Jack the manager is a good guy too, responsive with queries. We booked a 3 bed suit. Our room is spacious and clean. Love the bathrooms, water is strong, the design and lightning is soothing. We had the Hammam and massage service in house. The facilities and environment is nice and calming. The therapists are very skillful. I am new to hammam and it is interesting; the massage after is first class as well. The whole session was very relaxing. It was indeed a very special experience and I am really glad that we tried it. Recommended if you are considering. For first timer, note that you are expected to tip at the end so bring some cash (FYI we tipped 10%-20%). Overall it was a good stay and I would happy to stay again.

Lovely stay for 3 nights - staff were always friendly, helpful and available. Rooms were large and clean, with air conditioning keeping us cool in the high temperatures. The small number of suites lent a private feel to the stay and roof terrace always had the small pool and sunbeds available. Location was great - just away from the noise and hustle of the markets, but just a 5 minute walk to the action. Great value for money overall, and extra services such as taxi transfers, massages and meal were also well priced - especially 20 euro for a 1hr massage!

Great location, clean, large comfortable room and nice friendly staff, but it can get so noisy if a group arrives late at night as they did during our stay. They were noisy getting to their rooms and woke us up all their talk was amplified because of the central atrium design of the RIAD.

Modern, elegant Riad with good rooms and a friendly staff. An excellent shower - something I valued after a cople of weeks on the road throughut the continent. The Riad is convenient for the southern Medina - the Saadis tombs, the Badia Palace etc - and it is easy to orient yourself for the walk to the Medina's centre. I liked the fact that the neighbourhood was less touristy and claustrophobic tha the centre of the Medina but everything is very close. Close to a driveable road and a junction.

Staff very helpful and friendly. They were willing to make enquiries whenever asked. They were understanding about one of our party’s specific dietary needs and accommodated her at every meal. Breakfast was fresh and filling. Excellent orange juice. Dinner was delicious and enough to feed double our party. Sitting on the roof terrace was relaxing and a good way to end a tiring day of site seeing. We would stay there again.

What an absolute gem this Riad is. Tucked down a little alleyway (doesn’t stop the motorbikes tho!), the door opens to a lovely, warm and welcoming place with fabulous local staff. The owner is helpful, friendly and always available to help. Breakfast was a delight with fresh fruits, yogurt, bread, pancakes, etc. Nothing was too much bother and they looked after my son wonderfully. Our room was big, comfortable with ample fluffy towels and amenities, as well as a great shower. The location is great, close to a number of must-see sights, a small square with cafes, and about 10-15 minutes walk into the main square. Definitely be using this place again when I return.

Our spotless room was ready early and we had an enthusiastic welcome from the manager. Good breakfast served in the atrium. Attentive friendly staff. Transfer to the airport was easy and economical. Location is perfect - right in the medina.

Staff service was more than expected. Everything we asked for was immediately provided regardless of the hour. They woke up extra early to provide us with breakfast which I told them was unnecessary. Could not find the alleyway when we arrived maybe a sign a the entrance would be helpful. We had to pay someone to help us find this raid.

Loved Riad, location, room, staff, decorations, amenities and breakfast. A bit difficult to find at first, but location great in Medina. Water pump annoying at first, but you got used to it.

Chris and her team were excellent. We were travelling with our 2 year old and 4 year old and they were all brilliantly welcoming and accommodating. The riad is also in a quiet spot within a short walk of all the exciting stuff 👌 Would definitely recommend

Brilliantly friendly staff who greeted us with local mint tea on arrival. Happy to help with local trips and other questions we had. Rooms where cleaned daily and located perfectly. Short walk from main market square and close by a few smaller market stalls and lovely restaurants. Highly recommend Riad Algeria for anyone staying in Marrakech!

We had a wonderful stay!! The riad is beautiful! It’s well kept and clean with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We had a delicious dinner that I highly recommend and the breakfast was just as incredible. We also indulged in the spa services which was a treat! Chris, the manager, is a delight! She arranged a tour and transportation for us along with several suggestions of things to do. The staff at the riad is spectacular. They’re warm, kind and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable. When you stay there, you’ll fall in love with the riad and the marvelous staff just like we did!

This was a great riad, the manager couldn't have been more helpful and honest in giving us advice on what to do in Marrakesh and even emailed me before our arrival to ask if we wanted oicked up from the airport. The riad itself is in a great location, right next to Badi palace, close to all the major sites but down a very quiet lane so not surrounded by the noise of the markets, etc. Rooms were super comfy, very spacious with aircon (ours was a bit tempermental but did the job!). There was a small splash pool on the roof with seating and sun loungers, perfect for after a day sightseeing. Would definitely recommend.

We booked the airport transfer and were greeted at the airport by the friendly driver who delivered us to the front door of the Riad. When you experience the taxis you will realise how much time, effort and hassle this saved. Christelle the manager met us at the door and immediately made us feel at home. The map she provided was invaluable during our stay and she answered all our questions so that when we went out we felt safe and prepared. The location is ideal for the medina area and safe and quiet at night. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the roof garden and courtyard lounge areas were relaxing. Wifi was not available in the room during our stay but ok in the common areas. The breakfast was Moroccan continental and a good start to the day but the evening meal which can be booked in the morning was the best food we had in Marrakesh. The local wine was not bad either. We also used the in house haman and pedicure service both of which were excellent and good value. From Christelle, to Nordine the night porter, and not forgetting the two lovely ladies who cooked and cleaned the service was fantastic and so friendly. Whilst this is not a five star modern building it has all the Moroccan charm you could look for whilst exploring this area. A great stay. Thanks.

I've been to other Riads in Marrakesh and been slightly disappointed but this time i was very impressed. The interior design was brilliant and clean but the best part were the staff. Nouradine was excellent this guy was so helpful, attentive and above all made us feel super welcome. customer service like this makes me want to tell everybody to go to Riad Alegria and I will. Thank you riad Alegria

We had An excellent stay. Cannot thank Chris and her team enough for all the personal touches starting with whatsapp and phone contact before we reached. Welcomed us and showed us everything on the map and then walked to the main square with us to show us around. She and her team were very friendly and ready to help . Chris arranged airport transfers, tours and dinner at the riad . We enjoyed our meal on the terrace and the service was perfect. I can go on and on but must say that we woll stay at this riad if we go back to Marrakech and will certainly recommend it to friends and family.

The riad was well located in a quiet area of central Marrakech not too close yet not far from the Jama al-Fna which was 15 minutes walking distance and right next to the Badii Palace. There is a taxi and Hop On Hop Off bus stop just two minutes walking distance. The room was clean and decently appointed and the staff was attentive and responsive. The proprietor was very gracious and sensitive to our needs. However please come prepared as they only accept cash and were unable to take credit cards. I would highly recommend this riad.
