The staff couldn't have been more helpful and they arranged our transfers to and from the airport [essential] .The location is perfectly central. Of course the Riad is tucked away down a series of cobbled lanes but we never felt unsafe. Breakfast varied each day but always had some home baked element. Value for money. Small and bijou.

Cons: We only discovered at the end of our stay that we could have ordered Wine or Beer to have on the rooftop or in our room.....would have been good to have known that.

Kamers zeer schoon. We hebben genoten!

The staff were very hospitable and could not have done more for us, we had breakfast on the terrace, each day the interesting menu varied we found it of a good standard, the room had a seating area, adequate hanging space for clothes, clean bedding, soap and shampoo provided, towels were changed, AC was efficient, we were near the souk. The small roof top pool was an added feature.

Cons: A shaded area on the roof terrace

Lovely Riad on the edge of the Medina only five minutes walk from Jemma el fna. The staff were so lovely! And the breakfast was exceptional! It was in a very convenient location, close to the popular Dar Dar restaurant and the famous spice souk.

Cons: I really didn’t enjoy staying in the media and being so close to the chaos. However, we did realise that most of the riads were situated in a similar location so this is not a con of Road dar More in particular.

Location is perfect and is close to many landmarks while nicely hidden away from the soukes. Very cozy room and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Best introductory mint tea on arrival.

Cons: The room size is a bit small for 2 guests to open their luggages. A guy, who’s not really working in the riad, was sent to pick me up from the closest parking point. The location is in walking distance to every major attraction, the staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating, everything was clean and cozy

Cons: The only one thing I did not like was the hot water. The first room we stayed had a small hot water tank, not enough for one person to shower, not to mention 2. But staff was great and helped us switch rooms after. Also, rooms on the ground floor don't have windows pointing outside, only inside the Riad so not really possible to air out the room

Very very nice courteous team Very professional Fulfilled all our needs Close to souk/ Medina and good restaurants Beds very comfortable Bathroom very clean

Cons: The ground floor bedrooms had hot water shortage which is being addressed by the riad owners; for our family they offered the other unoccupied room bathroom to shower there! The riad is in a part of the Medina which is not on Apple Maps so getting there was a little bit difficult but not a big deal at all The bathroom had shampoo and bodywash. We had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar More. The staff prepared a Morrocan feast on our arrival which was fantastic. It was under €30 per person and definitely worth the money! Breakfast was amazing too, there was different dishes each morning all as tasty as each other. The staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We also enjoyed a few beers and glasses of wine on the beautiful rooftop. Only a short walk to the shops and big square but it was very quiet and peaceful in the Riad. It couldn’t have been better! I arranged an airport transfer through the hotel beforehand and the gentleman was outside waiting, even after it took a while to get through the airport! The gentleman from the hotel then met us at the taxi to take us to the place, and this was about 9pm! On a chat just that same day to confirm the transfer, they offered us dinner that evening, and it was beautiful! A wonderful first impression and way to start our trip! We felt very welcomed! The room was beautiful, spacious and en-suite lovely! Breakfasts so nice and different each day. All the staff were soo helpful! Booking us a taxi, pointing out places, recommendations, the food and all of them just went out of their way to be soo lovely and it really made our stay just so perfect!!

The riad is stunning, the photos online really don’t do it justice. The whole atmosphere there, the gorgeous cinnamon smell as you walk through the door and the friendly, helpful staff really make this place a must stay. The location is ideal, very close walking distance to most sightseeing attractions and short cheap taxi journey to the airport and anything else further away. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby (I highly recommend Dar Dar rooftop, just 3 minute walk from the property). You can ask the staff for recommendations for things to do during your stay, they can help arrange travel and tours, provide a useful map with all the top places to visit on there and give you information about each place. The rooms are cleaned daily and the breakfasts every morning are delicious. The riad only has 6 rooms so it’s very quiet, peaceful to return to after spending the days in the busy town.

Cons: Honestly it was almost perfect. My only comments would probably be on the shower - it only stays hot for about 5 minutes and then get quite cool so there was a rush to wash my hair in chilly water every day. &the daily cleaning - the cleaner would move all my belongings to clean every day and not put them back so I would spend time searching for things I need when I returned to my room (e.g. couldn’t find hairbrush on the second day, it had been tucked away on a shelf underneath the sink, clothes were moved and folded up and put on shelves, my phone charger unplugged and moved, my makeup taken out the bathroom and moved to the bedroom etc). These were a minor inconvenience but the only ones I had.

We really loved this riad based on 3 things! First, the breakfast was varied and different every day, with delicious coffee or moroccan tee:) Secondly, the location was easy to get to Jemaa el-Fnaa, Koutoubia, and local shopping street. Finally, all the staffs were incredibly friendly and considerate. They offered many things before we asked to and did their best to make our stay comfortable and safe:) They also came to the street we arrived to take us to the riad and even offered us tea, despite our late night arrival. I really recommend stay this beautiful riad if you wanna have the best stay in Marrakech;)!

Cons: Absolutely nothing! Just don't be afraid of walking local street to get to the riad. We arrived Marrakech late at night but local people were nice enough to tell us the way to the riad:)

Everything was good with the accomodation and people. When I arrived, they received me with a welcome tea. The air conditioning in the room was working, so the room was cool. The room was really nice and clean, with rose petals scattered on the room. The breakfast was of good quality and very traditional. The rooftop was very confortable and amusing (in september, do not go there between 3pm and 6pm, as it reaches a temperature peak). The meals was extraordinary, well served and delicious, with bread, salads, main dish (ex: tagine, couscous) and deserts (variable fruits). Marvelous!

Cons: It is a bit tricky to get to the Riad. The transfer/taxi will leave you on a main square and, to get to the riad, you need to: go through the main arc door, walk for more or less 100m passing by several small stores, then turn on the first right small street, with a small ramp going down with a few steps. At this point, you can use the Google maps. At the end of this street (you have a T section), turn to the right and go all the way to the end. Until here, you have passed through 2 small tunnels. In the end, you have a T section, turn right (narrow street) and then to the left (very narrow street). You will find the door for the Riad.

Cons: Air con wasn't great. Would have been fab to have an extra mirror in the room, 2 girls we struggled sharing 1 bathroom mirror. A small TV would have been nice

Dont panic while getting here through chaotic roads across wild market. Everything you will get here is beyond outstanding. Superb clean, superb elegant for a very good price. Guys, this is a gem. Also breakfast, everything home made and fresh. This was wow experience.

Cons: Clean and elegant rooms, minimalistic and modern historical design with attention to detail, waterfall making very good temperature inside of hotel, great locality, and awesome and friendly staff. 1000% honesty here.

The location of this riad was perfect for my partner and I👌🏾 we stayed in Marrakech for a total of 10nights and stayed here for 7nights and this riad was by far the best out of the 4. The first riad we stayed in was right in the heart of Jemaa el-Fna and was a little too chaotic for us but because this riad isn't so close to the hustle and bustle but still easy to access Jemaa el-Fna it was a perfect medium. It also offered great access to other attractions like Badi Palace. The riad and our room was sooo clean! Whenever we re-entered the riad we were always welcomed with orange blossom and eucalyptus scents! The breakfast they provide is small in variety but very nice and filling! The staff are honestly superb👏🏿special shoutout to Abdel and Ishmel! They went above and behind to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we felt at home. And also the women who cooked us breakfast and cleaned are rooms...they were really sweet🥰The pictures they provide are accurate ...the riad really is that beautiful and the water fountain was such a nice feature😍 I would honestly recommend this riad and will definitely come back when I am next in Marrakech 🫶🏿🇲🇦

Such a beautiful place with extremely nice staff and homemade style breakfast! Just as a heads up, they do keep the main door to the building locked which is great for security but not always the most convenient. However we did not have to wait more than a minute for someone to come open the door each time we left.

The riad was very clean and in a great location. It’s off the beaten path so it was very quiet and relaxing. The best part of our stay was the staff. They made us feel so welcome and valued. They provided tea on multiple occasions, provided luggage storage, and the breakfast was delicious!

The staff were absolutely friendly and very accommodating. Great customer service, I would definitely return. The rooms are cleaned daily, the towels are always replaced, the facilities are immaculately clean. The Riad also has a rooftop area, where you can chill/ enjoy the sun, as sunbeds and tables are on site.

Cons: The breakfast option - the food was of great quality, but I'm personally not a fan of sweet breakfasts. You will get things such as pastries, fig/strawberry jams, little pancakes, bread. I think perhaps it should be a no sweet, second breakfast option, for people that would prefer just eggs, as an example.

The staff were incredible, the room was always clean and smelt amazing. Great location just off the old town market, although it was by a busy market it was very quiet and peaceful in the riad. We felt very safe walking to our riad at nighttime, it was well lit the whole way down. Room was very nice with great air con, the cleaners went above and beyond to clean our rooms making sure everything was neat and to our convenience. The reception guys were also lovely always greeting us with a smile at the door. Overall the riad was beautiful complete with a terrace. I could not recommend any place else to stay. This is the BEST stay you could ask for, highly recommend!!

Great location just off of the main strip in the medina which meant it was very quiet. The rooftop area was lovely to relax after a day walking around. The rooms were spacious and had everything you needed. The ladies who cleaned the rooms always went over and above hanging my clothes on hangers and sorting my toiletries out. The breakfast was slightly different each morning but mainly consisted of some sort of bread, cheese and fruit with fresh juice and tea/coffee. We actually ate there for lunch one day too as I had an injury and the food was delicious! The staff were all very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay near the medina. Thank you to the lovely staff for the flowers for our anniversary too 🥰

The riad provides a relaxing and calming ambiance to us after spending a long day outside, nice smelling scented candles were lit everyday. When first arriving, the staff would serve us mint tea and biscuits and let us relax on the couches while we check in. We arrived earlier (around 12pm) than the check-in time but there was no problem with giving us the room early, which is a huge plus. The staff were very welcoming and kind, they would greet us nicely everyday when we come back or when we head outside. The owner and the managers speak very good French, English and Arabic so one shouldn't worry about any language barrier. There is also a very adoring cat that belongs to the riad and does not shy away from visitors! Breakfast is served daily from 8am-10am, we get up quite late everyday but are still served breakfast and the staff do not rush us at all. As it was the first time for us travelling to Morocco, the owner was very kind to help us with all the questions we have about places to see and visit (attractions, hammams, restaurants, argan oil recommendations). And as our flight is late in the evening, the owner was very kind to let us store our luggage in the riad until we head to the airport.

Cons: The soundproofing of the walls can be improved (there is always room for improvement but it is subjective!), as riads have four walls, so echoes can be expected in every riad in the lobby. But! Because this riad only have limited rooms, there will be very very few people and you can't hear them from their rooms or anything. All the guests were mindful of that, so at night and morning, it was not a problem at all.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, the Riad Dar More is an oasis of calm. We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly recommend. Our room was lovely and comfortable. The staff are fantastic and arranged airport transfers. The building is stunning and beautifully decorated and imagine very cool in the summer heat (we were there Jan/Feb). The Riad is 5 minutes walk from the main square and is very peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace and watching the circling storks. Breakfast was delicious.

What lovely staff, always welcoming, happy to see you and always on hand to help with anything you need. Good variety of breakfast through the 3 days we stayed. We had mint tea on the rooftop some evenings, was lovely and quiet. Very friendly staff and owner. They were always willing to help and someone’s there 24/7. The location in the Medina is perfect to explore Marrakech by walking. Breakfast was delicious and varied slightly every day ☺️ The bed and pillows are comfortable too. We had a small issue with our shower, which was fixed immediately after our feedback, so really an exceptional service was provided. I can highly recommend this Riad and would book it again without hesitation.

Cons: I would recommend adding a curtain or door to the shower to avoid wetting a big part of the bathroom floor.

What I liked about Riad Dar More everything…. -the location is only a few minutes' walk from every tourist location you will visit.... -everything is very clean, decorated with style and good taste… -we had breakfast every morning and it was delicious and very rich in the sense that you have fruit, croissant, coffee, omelette etc... and it varies every day -the staff working at the riad are very friendly and kind, we could leave our luggage for a few hours because we had an evening flight, they also printed our plane tickets... The staffs were amazing. They took care of us beyond our expectations. We will definitely come back in marrakech not just because of the beautiful places to go but because of the riad that we stayed at. They made our first travel as a couple more special and memorable. And if we are going to comeback again in the future we’ll definitely get the same riad. 😊 that’s why we are very greatful we booked this riad. We highly reccomend it.

Cons: It was a little bit hard to find on our first day. But it is easy to familiarise all the streets as day goes by. On our 4 days stay in marrakech we felt like we already know the city. And the staffs had been helpful. They tell you what to see and where to go. 😊

The staff here were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. They served a beautiful light breakfast each morning with fresh fruit, pancakes, pastries, juice, condiments and the best coffee I've had in a long time. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. We were given a map and shown all the best spots and easy directions through the narrow streets. The location was fantastic, only a couple of minutes to a gorgeous lane with markets and restaurants, with the main market place (Jemaa el-Fnaa) about 6 minutes from our door. Despite our flight being 2 hours delayed, our transfer was there at the airport, and as it was late, the staff came and walked us from the transfer to the door of the hotel. Great air conditioning in the room and a lovely rooftop terrace.

Great location very close to all major tourist attractions. The hotel is quite small, so you get this home-like feeling. It is very nicely decorated, cosy and clean. The riad was very clean in general and smelled really nice in all of the places which I appreciated. The owner we met was very friendly, helpful and suggested even to provide us a small breakfast because we were planning to leave early. At last we left later in the morning and we enjoyed a really satisfying breakfast in the terrace which was very clean, cool and sunny. At last I really liked the location. In a crowded street with very good shops and places to eat and drink around.

Cons: The room was a little bit small and provided the feeling of a hotel compared to other riads that we stayed which were more traditional. But since the other two riads didn't have a bathroom door some people might prefer the feeling of a hotel room that this room provided.

I used a taxi and with the streets deserted I was unsure of my safety, BUT it was completely safe and with Google maps found the Riad easily. I received a warm welcome and my room was excellent. It is a small and cosy Riad and would recommend it, it is relatively close and with a good pair of shoes and (relative fit) you will be able to walk everywhere. Cons: The lightning in the room is too dark for us and there is not enough electric outlet beside the bed. Going in and out the room is not very smooth because the curtain in the way. But overall it is a very charming and heartwarming Riad to stay with.

Breakfast was very good! Every morning a typical Moroccan breakfast is served, it changes slightly everyday and it is delicious. Simon, the owner, was the absolute best, always willing to help us along our stay. All the staff is super nice. The place is beautiful, it has a lovely stylish Moroccan vibe and it feels peacefull at the core of the Medina

The layout, the warm welcome, the dinner we got on arrival, the staff, the rooftop the location. Everything! The riad is both central to marrakesh but off the beaten track too, so its nice and quiet. The staff are so warm and welcoming, the owner is so helpful. Gave us a map and circled all the main attractions and gave us all the info wee needed. Rooms are clean and comfortable with air con. Would recommend a Riad rather than a hotel if you are staying in Marrakesh.

We adore Riad Dar More and will definitely stay again! Firstly, the Riad itself is beautiful and well kept. The staff are amazing, especially the man who works evenings/breakfast, he attended to all our questions about Marrakech and made us feel at home. He made light changes to breakfast each morning that created variety, which we loved. The Riad is nicely tucked away from the busyness of the city but a quick 5 minute walk and you’re fully immersed.

Cons: It’s worth noting that the entrance to the Riad is not by the Ferblantiers square. You need to walk on the main path towards the big square, turn right just before DarDar restaurant, turn right again + walk right to the end of this path - this caught us out when we arrived in marrakech but if you look properly on maps beforehand it’s easy to find.

Riad Dar More is clean, friendly and Simon [owner] and Abdul and his team of two ladies are so helpful and kind. It is easy to get lost in Marrakesh and they were always helpful in guiding us to the many places of interest. This Riad has brilliant decor and the breakfast was varied and always great and tasty. Also situated in a central location which is very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended and would return again if we ever go back to Marrakesh. Barry Munday.

This is your sign to book this Riad. I honestly felt like I was leaving home when I left the Riad. Firstly I must honour Abdul’s who was an amazing staff member his welcoming and hospitality is one in this world his unmatched love and accommodating spirit of making us feel welcome safe and a priority was breath taking and was the highlight of the entire trip for us. The overall staff were welcoming and brilliant in their own way. The Riad is beautifully designed and is centred around peace. The cleaning was top notch as well as the breakfast they served. Your bang central in the middle so easy to get around we’re sceptical of where the Riad is at first but after the first day we enjoyed the little alley ways and short cuts. Marrakech people are beautiful, and well rounded people who are happy to help. I will be coming back to morocco and this Riad the next time I’m in Marrakech

Location is amazing. We were taking sun in the morning, then going to explore the city. In the end when we were going to the taxi, I lost my friend, and Simon and everyone in Riad tried to help and find her, it was so nice of them! Highly recommend!

Our stay was perfect in every way. Couldn't have chosen a better Riad. Beautifully decorated, and pleasantly scented. 7 minute walk from the Jemaa el Fna square (seems like 2 minutes as you go buy all the shops on the way). Perfectly located aside the noise and commotion for a great sleep. Breakfast was fantastic, very well prepared, and a bit different every morning. Staff was very helpful and so friendly. They speak French, English, and Spanish fluently. Housecleaning was one of the best I've ever seen, and I've stayed in many luxurious 5* hotels across the world. New towels every day. Great hot water shower at any time of the day. Rooms romantically decorated. Ar conditionning. Very good wifi. No TV in the room (but honestly, not needed). Very safe to and from Riad, and also no trouble leaving valuables in room. Abdel was a great help with everything, so thoughtful and attentive, as was the owner. As a travel agent, this Riad shall be at the top of my list of recommendations in Marrakech to my clients whenever possible.

A beautiful boutique riad for a very reasonable price. The staff (Abdel - receptionist, Badia - housekeeping, Samira - kitchen) and Simo, the owner made us feel welcome for our four nights in this wonderful little riad in the hear of the Medina. Just minutes away from all amenities and attractions in the Medina and the Jemaa el-Fna it was the perfect location for our family visit to Marrakech. This has been our fourth visit to Marrakech and Riad Dar More beats all the hotels we have been staying in in Marrakech before. Despite its central location it is super quiet and has excellent beds, which allowed us to get the well deserved rest after the daily 15 km walks through the city. The breakfast consists of freshly prepared breads, pastry and pancakes and a superbe selection of teas and local coffee, topped with freshly squeezed orange juice. The great rooftop terrace was the ideal place to relax in the evening and watch the sun set over Marrakech. Overall, best value for money we have received on our travels in a very long time...

J’avais une forte appréhension car j’ai dû prendre une nuit en catastrophe et donc le seul critère que j’avais regardé était le prix avec le risque la qualité ne suive pas . Simon and his staff treated us wonderfully. We were welcomed on arrival with mint tea in the lounge. Simon provides us with a map and talked us through the places to visit. Our room was clean and comfortable with welcomed air con. Breakfast was delicious especially the local eggs and tomato dish which we loved. The night guardian and kitchen ladies were friendly, kind and incredibly respectful. We also loved the roof terrace and used it to lie in the sun and to play games. The Riad was just a few minutes from the main square and very close to shops and restaurants. I would love to visit Marrakesh again and would definitely return to Riad Dar More.

I checked specifically for places with parking. That was complete nonsense. You can park somewhere in the city, but you walk a far way on paving stone thru the historical part of the town to get to the place. The place itself is great, but very wrong to promote "with parking"

The riad was amazing, the people who are work there are really nice. Every time we came in somebody walked to us and ask how our night was. It was a really warm welcome. And we feel home. The riad was small the WiFi worked good and everyday there are lovely rose. They make the breakfast in the morning in the kitchen by them selfs. Delicious! The djemnaa square is like a 5 min walk. And you feel save in the streets. The rooms were everytime so clean and we love the morrocan guy who was the host over there. It was even more prettier the riad in real life then on the pictures! Thankyou!

We spent two nights in this delightful and modern Riad. We stayed in the Bagatelle room on the first floor, it's small and can be stuffy but the air conditioning works well. There was a problem with the door handle which was temporarily fixed by one of the housekeepers. The roof terrace is a great place to relax. Dar More is very central but is difficult to find at first. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

We had a quick but lovely stay at Riad Dar More. Our flights had changed last minute and we required an extra night in Marrakech. This riad was cozy and quiet as it is a few streets away from the main square. The staff were friendly and courteous. I would recommend this Riad for a short stay in Marrakech, it has a traditional feel and the interior is beautiful.

It was an overall pleasant stay at the Riad Dar More. Friendly and kind staff, decent breakfast and central location made this a relatively comfortable stay. The Riad doesn’t provide a key for the main door, which means you always have to rely on someone to open it for you. The city tax of 2.50 euros/per/person per night surprised us at the end of our stay.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Hands down the most accommodating facility we've ever stayed at. We booked 2 nights at Riad Dar More in October and from the moment we stepped through the door, Abdel and staff were ready to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was a good size, very clean, and comfortable. The rooftop terrace was so relaxing and quiet as well. We had breakfast and lunch here which were both great. Getting to the riad the first time is a bit daunting but we pre-arranged an airport shuttle through Riad Dar More (19 euros) so they had a "dolly" waiting for us to escort us directly to the front door which was much appreciated. Thank you for the amazing experience!

We had a great stay at this Riad. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Service was excellent, especially by Abdal, who often worked the night shifts. He is friendly, polite and attentive. Breakfast was excellent as well. We stayed two nights and both breakfasts were different. The location of the Riad was good in that it was close to where you need to go. My problem with it is that I find it a little too tucked away so I didn’t feel as comfortable going out at night even though I’ve been reassured that Marrakech is very safe. The other issue I had with this place was that I was charged for bottles of water, which was fine had they told me from the beginning. I asked for water the first day because I didn’t see any in the room. The staff member handed me a big bottle but never said anything about the cost. I still would have paid for it. I just preferred that she told me from the beginning instead of the surprise at the end. Overall I highly recommend this place. Oh and don’t forget about the city tax. It’s not built into the price of the room.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and were so pleased with our stay. It turns out Marrakesh is not quite the city for us (too much hassling and air pollution), but it was a pleasant relief to return to Riad Dar More every afternoon and lay out on the rooftop terrasse for a few hours before going out for dinner. The moment you step in, the staff are calm and welcoming, the property is impeccably well kept and clean, and the photos match reality (this is often not the case!). The host was very attentive too. We did a lot of research before booking, and it was worth it because although I can't say I would return to Marrakesh, I would recommend this riad to everyone. Although it is in the medina, it is off of the main corridors and is quiet! The quietness was another reason why we loved this place so much. No yelling or scooters from the streets, and the only time we heard the call to prayer was when we were on the rooftop. Breakfast is included, the wifi works, they provide just the right amenities, and the terrasse is gorgeous. The only con was when we arrived by car and were trying to reach the manager to find out where to park. I had reached him earlier in the day, but he wasn't near the phone that time so we ended up getting conned by some little punks into taking their street parking (safe, private parking was just a block away). It happens! Just make sure you figure out where the good parking spots are before you arrive to avoid being in our situation.

I had the best experience at this Riad! It was difficult to choose among the shortlist of Riads prior to my Marrakesh trip, but this one was perfect for the following reasons: - Very good location! It was close to Jemma square, the different palaces/museums/gardens. Surrounded by very good restaurants, and in a safe and comfortable neighborhood - The staff was top notch. Kudos to the owner and staff who were very helpful with suggestions and excursions - The food was great, especially breakfast on the rooftop - The room was spacious, unlike the other cramped rooms I hear from the other Riads; and this was cleaned/organized everyday - What i liked most was the atmosphere - it didn't feel like a paid for hotel/service; it had a home vibe

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July 2017. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for us, offering tips about the local area and preparing breakfast for us whenever we wanted it. Professional couple travelling in July. Room not as nice as the photos but good shower and kept clean - although found a cockroach in our room. Staff in the riad truly lovely &welcoming. but we had a disagreement with the owner for overcharging for airport transfer (much much cheaper to organise yourself!) and he was sexist and rude, laughing saying he'd welcome a negative review and bragging he always convinced Expedia to remove them? Alarm bells ringing, and would recommend avoiding compared to others in area we've stayed at - as for your money you can get a nicer room, better breakfast and peace of mind - especially as a woman!

Small riad of about 5 rooms - which has a lot more flexibility. Abdal was really helpful when we had to leave early for day trips and made special arrangements for us to have a much earlier breakfast. We also managed to leave our big luggages at the riad for 2 nights at no extra charge while we were out on a 3D2N Sahara Desert trip. It was ramadan and we called for room service for lunch at 4pm. The cleaning ladies at the riad couldn't speak english but managed to get us on the line to order our food. It came within 30minutes! The riad was really clean, and the rooms look exactly like how they feature them on their website. There's no TV or fridge but they have all you need to have a great stay. There's a beautiful roof terrace as well.

As disappointed as I was to miss out on exploring Morocco, the compassion and class of this hotel really made up for it!

We had a great stay in marrakech. The Riad is convinently located within the medina to see most of the local culture. Jema el fena is a mere 5-7 mins walk away. I would highly recommend those staying here to use the airport transfer to the Riad as it is quite obsecure. This shouldn't put you off though as you will quickly learn the routes yourself and become readily familiar with the location. Breakfast was great and the service was amazing. Abdul was particularly helpful and accommodating to our needs. Hopefully will return soon!

Hotel is in the old town, which is surrounded by walls. Main square is just 10 mins. walk from hotel. Most of the attractions are so near that you can arrive them by foot. Also there are many shops and reastarants which are close to the hotel. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was OK. Wi-Fi was poor. In this website you see that the hotel has a free paring area. But its not true. And it was very hard for me to find the hotel in the first time. Sreets were like a puzzle. Finally, it is a good hotel to stay in Marrakesh, i would prefer it for the second time if I would go there again.

Great hotel. Very clean and comfortable; excellent breakfast; helpful owner and staff. Only 5 rooms but that is the norm for all of these "riads" (a riad is a hotel or inn) in the Medina area (medina is a market), and there was no TV, but Wi-Fi worked great. It can be a bit of a walk to any of these through narrow streets and a taxi cannot get in there, so if you have lots of luggage, don't go to one of these. However, if you're traveling light and like a little adventure, this is a great place to stay! Make sure you get good walking directions from the owner from the point at which the taxi will drop you off. The owner will e-mail you a couple of days in advance, which is a nice touch. A taxi will only cost you about 30-40 Dirhams (about $3) from the train station. Don't ask how much (there's no meter) just give him 40 Dirhams and he'll be happy. The main thing I would like to point out is a negative but not regarding the hotel, which was excellent. The market portion of the Medina area (not the riad area) is crowded, noisy, smelly and dirty. You have to be used to this to enjoy it. Some vendors can get downright ugly if you stop to look and don't buy or pay (especially the snake handlers, monkey handlers and walkaround vendors). You must be very vigilant and say "No" firmly to anyone who walks up to you asking you to look in their shop or at their stuff. Take a bottle of water with you and a snack when you walk around.
