Clean and calm despite its position in the medina. Varied breakfast and the hosts are nice.
Cons: Not accessible by car/taxi , you need to walk 7-15 mn if you take a taxi or bus. Everyday we needed to go through the medina. So for us it’s better to stay 1-2 nights instead of 4 nights as we did.

Great location - far enough from the main square to feel like you’re really in a neighborhood. Super friendly couple that runs the place. And they arranged a Traci and walked us out to it
Cons: Our low end room was really tiny; no protein at breakfast - though the fresh breads and pancakes were great. Decor definitely not Moroccan

Cons: La chambre est un peu petite et sombre (mais tout à fait normale pour un Riad de la Medina) ; l’escalier est un peu raide, il faut donc faire un peu attention avec les jeunes enfants ;

Assolutamente niente
Cons: Please read carefully before booking. Let's start with a premise: we are a young couple, very open to other cultures, who have always traveled extensively and have always adapted to every situation. We booked five nights at this Riad, enticed by the positive and enthusiastic reviews (especially those from our fellow Italians, who are often the most critical). We couldn't have made a worse mistake. We arrived and were given a first room (where we would stay for two nights). The shower drain didn't work (every time we took a shower, it would flood the room) and it was infested with ants. We asked for a second room and were given one. It was infested with cockroaches and the air conditioning didn't work (we killed two of them while the others ran away; I've attached a photo for those who might not believe it). At 11:00 PM on the third night, we asked for a third room and were given one. This one also had cockroaches and the air conditioning didn't work. Unfortunately, it was late, so we had to spend the third night here, taking turns with the lights on (to scare off the cockroaches) and keeping the door open due to the stifling heat (it was cooler outside than inside). In the morning, we left. Don't trust the super-positive reviews; they most likely didn't know they were sleeping in the company of a colony of cockroaches. Also, the host speaks only a little French and Arabic, so he won't be of any help. And, although it's a minor point compared to what I've written above, the host gave us the wrong change when paying the tourist tax (pocketing 50 DH). Was this intentional or was it a human error? Find out for yourself if you dare come here.

Superb location if you want to be in the middle of all the action; everything within walking distance. Tucked away on a side road but only seconds away from the Souks and main square. Felt safe. Lovely breakfast of boiled eggs, home made pancakes, homemade parathas, jams and sauces, fresh fruit, juice and coffee on the pretty roof terrace. We arrived early and were greeted with mint tea and biscuits whilst waiting for our rooms to be ready. The real gems of the Riad are the gentle, sweet, humble Abdul and his lovely wife who do their utmost to keep the place scented beautifully, the rooms and courtyard clean and even helped me with getting my luggage to the minibus across town on the final day.
Cons: Perhaps the showers could do with an upgrade but apart from that there was nothing.

The Riad is the perfect location to spend some days in Marrakech, the breakfast is very rich and tasty and it´s served on the terrace of the Riad which is a great place itself. The team is very gentle and ready to help at any request: we needed a taxi very early in the morning and our host organized everything for us and stayed awake at 3 am to help us get in the taxi, absolutely great people

The staff, Abdoul and Radia, were very welcoming and always willing and ready to help. Location was great for us (we have been to Marrakech several times and we are very familiar with the city. Other travellers might prefer other areas). Hot water always available, comfy beds. Beautiful rooftop.
Cons: There was no iron for the cloths available at the Riad. The staff offered to bring our clothes to the cleaners were they would iron it but we decided not to. Also the breakfast did not offer a great variety of options (as we were used from out previous visits).

This riad is so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The decor is very calming. Our room was so comfortable and clean with lovely sheets and towels and a cute built in bathroom. The staff were so kind and went above and beyond to help us with any questions and requests and were very well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again.
Cons: There was a lot of effort made with candles and oils inside the riad and the room but sometimes on the roof you catch some funny smells. But I think you get that almost anywhere in marrakech ! Breakfast was quite on the sweet and sugary side. But again common anywhere we stayed. :)

It’s a nice and quiet little property in the middle of the chaos of the Marrakech market. It is incredible that the Riad had no noise inside, given the location. Everything is good and the people managing the place are amazing and very accommodating. The location is amazing and very peaceful. The pictures make the rooms look bigger than they are and the showers are not suitable for tall people. Nice, charming Riad in the heart of Marrakech. The caretaker, Abdul, is very helpful and always smiling. The lower rating is because of the payment issues that I faced. The booking was done via the establishment's website and guaranteed with a credit card. Upon checking in, I was told that there is no payment on file. To complicate matters, they did not have a working credit card machine. I had to get money changed to make the payment. Not easy for a traveller with limited currency on hand. I returned back three days later for a second stay after a trip to Erg Chebbi. Same experience. No payment, and credit card machine still not working. I hope the owner fixes the credit card payment issues promptly.

I had a truly wonderful stay at your hotel and would like to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible hospitality of the hotel owners and their family. They are such kind and generous people, and their warmth made me feel at home. Their assistance with translation and guidance was invaluable, making my visit even more enjoyable and stress-free. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a charming atmosphere and excellent amenities, but what truly sets it apart is the people. Their dedication to ensuring guests have the best possible experience is remarkable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. Thank you once again for everything—I hope to return soon! Best regards, Carlos
Cons: Perhaps because I was unfamiliar with the streets, I found it difficult to locate the hotel. However, this was only because I didn't have a navigator, as I had no internet access on my phone. Since it was a smaller hotel, people might not have been able to guide me there either.

We recently stayed at this stunning Riad for four nights and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived late in the evening, Abdul made us feel incredibly welcome. He greeted us with traditional mint tea and cookies. The breakfast was a highlight of our stay. Every item was homemade and freshly prepared. We enjoyed both tea and coffee. The property itself is exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained to a very high standard. They do room service every day. It’s a tranquil place to relax, with no noise at night, ensuring we slept perfectly. Almost all the tourist attractions are within the walking distance. Lots of food options are nearby. Abdul’s hospitality truly made the experience special. Thank you 😊
Cons: It was a bit difficult to find the property at first but we got used to it quickly. The stairs to the rooftop are quite narrow, so it may be challenging if you have young children or are pregnant.

The property was stunning and clean, a breath of fresh air in the messy medina, a charm. We had two rooms, and both were complete with a bathroom with shower, toiletries, hairdryer, towels and warm bedsheets. The location is a 8 minute walk to the square, its not the most touristy area, i would say even quite local (still felt very very safe as 4 solo women, and plus prices tend to be lower in this area, but go around a bit and bargain before buying something so you can understand the prices), but it’s also not far from the picturesque souks, you just have to find them. What made the stay unforgettable is the staff, especially the sweetest man that works there. Super helpful, always smiling, always available for anything, he even came to pick us up in the medina, took us to a very tasty restaurant, and in general just listened to any our requests and we are so so grateful. Breakfast was very big and full, and it changed daily. We are so so happy with the choice we made with this riad.
Cons: We had issues with wifi, not sure if it’s the riad, because we found that in Marrakech in general wifi is weak, so we couldn’t send more than a couple messages, so i would recommend to either buy a sim card or just do research beforehand and download the Marrakech map on google maps. Another thing is that the transfer that had to pick us up from the airport was an hour late and i had to call a couple numbers to deal with it, but it is not the hotels fault.

Riad was exactly as shown in pictures. Only few minutes walk from the main square. Once inside it was so peaceful, serene and smelled fresh. Breakfast was lovely on the terrace and the staff were always available and very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept very well.
Cons: There was a toilet inside the room but the sink and shower was in a separate room outside, but only a step away. This was a little awkward but the shower was so hot and good pressure it made up for it.

We stayed in August so it was very hot, on average 35 degrees. The AC was welcome especially after a day out. Unfortunately, because of the hear we couldn't make the most of the communal areas and terrace. The location was perfect. It was only abt 5-10 minute walk away from the main square. All the souks and hassle and basdle was near by, but as soon as you entered the riad, it was very peaceful. The riad was beautiful and just like in the pics. It was basic but we were happy with that. The host, Abdo, was very attentive. He even helped arrange a taxi for us couple of times.
Cons: Unfortunately, the wifi was very slow sometimes.

This was the best riad we stayed in whilst travelling around Morocco. It was a peaceful haven where you could hear little birds throughout the day. The riad always smelt lovely, like a spa - and was incredible clean and tidy, including the bed linen and towels (we have stayed in other riads around Morocco of similar prices where the bedding and towels were dirty). The room we stayed in was a good size with a window that looked out into the middle and with a good sized bathroom. The hosts were very welcoming and kind, they clearly take pride in their riad and look after it well. Abdul also arranged a taxi for us the day we were leaving. Would recommend if you want to stay somewhere peaceful but in the medina.

We walked and had to pay some kids so they showed us the place - we had to pay extra because we came for breakfast late. Actually we weren’t late. Breakfast start from 08 to 10. We came at 09.40. So ….? I have never experienced this anywhere 😏 later I learned that because we are in Marrakesh🤷♀️

The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly. The riad is very beautiful.
Cons: It’s a bit difficult to find the place. It would help if the property would give instructions how to find it. The breakfast is simple, only with different types of bread. The shower is a bit small.

The place is so calm and the owner is so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast on the rooftop is fantastic.
Cons: The road is not accessable by car so you have to walk from derb hidada but this was only a 6 min walk. Streets are very busy and chaotic so be warned. Not a deal breaker

So, SO happy with this riad! Lovely and welcoming owner - greeted us with mint tea and biscuits, and supplied a great breakfast every morning we were there (3 days). Room was small but comfortable, had a good sense of privacy and safety in it. There was a lovely shaded top floor terrace and an open air seating area on the ground floor, where we spent a couple hours resting and taking in the lovely nature around (three sweet chatty birds were flying around us a lot!). On our last day, the owner kindly called the taxi for us, let us keep our bags in the riad and rest in the terrace until late afternoon, and then helped take our bags to the taxi. Felt very well taken care of - would love to come back again.

Good location, excellent freshly cooked breakfast on the terrace....(local breads, croissants, jams, eggs on some days) with fresh orange juice, tea and coffee. Arranged a cab to collect us from the airport through them. No hassle! Our room on the ground floor was a bit compact - we were given an option on a higher floor, but the circular stairway was a bit off-putting... Abdul was amazing....he was always cleaning, sorting things out and always had a smile on his face! He went out of his way to help all the guests so as to make their hols perfect! WiFi was an issue on arrival, but was sorted out by the following day!

I enjoyed my stay here. Abdul was lovely and welcoming. Although the place was very basic it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was nice. It was quite hard to find the Riad to begin with. But once you get your bearings it’s close and easy to get to the main square and the souks. As a solo female traveller I felt safe in the area even though it felt quite chaotic when I first got there. No one bothered me and the locals/vendors were very friendly. I can recommend this Riad it was good value for money.

Really lovely Riad. Clean, comfortable and close to main square with lots of shopping. Also easy to get to main attractions, most within walking distance or short taxi ride. The owner, Abdul, was very welcoming and helpful and so was his wife. I felt really at home there. Reasonably priced, would highly recommend! Oh, and basic breakfast included served on fabulous roof terrace!

Driving in Medina is definitely not for the faint-hearted. Abdul checked us in and was absolutely wonderful in directing us to a nearby car park to leave our car during our stay. He was really friendly throughout our stay. Thank you, Abdul!! The place was very clean and considering it was in the heart of Medina, it was actually very quiet. Aircon rooms were fantastic. Breakfast each morning was fabulous. We would definitely stay her again.

It was difficult finding the hotel in the beginning but we got help from two wonderful couples who were kind enough to help us find the hotel. The hotel was beautiful, our room was perfect and the air conditioner was working brilliantly. Abdul was very helpful and patient. Radiya's breakfast was always delicious, kept our room tidy and the whole hotel too. The location was very close to the market, if want to pray there's a masjid very close to the hotel. But overall I and my friend had a great time and a very pleasant stay at riad noor charana hotel.

I've stayed at Riad Noor Charana a number of times over the years and always have a great time. The rooms are simple but beautifully decorated and breakfast on the roof terrace is a real treat. The riad is in a great location and easily walkable from the souls and Jemma el Fna and the same lovely staff have worked there for years. My only feedback is that the WiFi barely worked which made making online bookings for restaurants and other attractions difficult and we had to use the WiFi in cafes and museums. With a lot of tourist attractions now requiring online booking good WiFi is essential.

Abdul did everything to make our stay comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. He is a real gem! This is a typical Riad, close to local shops and restaurants. Location - inside the medina, close to main square and numerous shopping and eating options. Limited vehicle access nearby, probably need to walk with bags for a few minutes to access. Can be tricky to find.... like everything in the medina! Service - excellent, limited English spoken, but owner addressed all our needs Accommodation - small but comfortable room, nice courtyard for sitting, rooftop sitting area for breakfast, or anytime. Eating - breakfast supplied, dinner is an option but expensive compared to nearby choices. Great coffee stall next door. Wi-fi - available in courtyard, but mostly poor. Non existent in room. Summary - recommended for a traditional Moroccan experience in the centre of the medina.

Great value on Hotels.com and a bit concerned how it would be but fantastic location of this little Riad and excellent value for money. Wonderful staff and could never do enough for you and rooms very comfortable. We went in early January and it was a bit chilly at night and AC / Heater was a bit noisy and not that efficient. We couldn't use the wifi in the room but could in the courtyard. All in all a great find and would definitely return.

This is an oasis in the heart of the medina, only minutes from the main square. The hosts are extremely kind and looked after us very well - great breakfast and help with booking excursions. Our room was simple but good - we slept well; the shower and toilet facilities were all good too. It's a little hard to find so I'd download a map onto a phone before you arrive.

This is an absolutely charming Riad only minutes from the main square in the Medina. The hosts are wonderful, friendly and kind. Breakfast is fantastic and evening meals (which are extra - though very reasonable) were delicious and huge. All our excursions were booked and sorted by our hosts after mentioning our intentions, and we were led each morning to the tour operators - which made everything so seamless. The Riad is like an oasis; beds were comfortable and the toilets/ shower all good. The only problem with the Riad is that it is hard to find, so I’d suggest downloading a map onto a phone before being dropped off by taxi outside the Medina. I also wouldn’t advise arriving outside times when you can ask people directions. Final point - it helps to speak French.

Pros - gorgeous Riad, close proximity to djeema el fna, Abdul (owner) is nice and welcoming, dinner in Riad was very very tasty, welcome tea & biscuits. Cons - walk through narrow souks (market) with bikes/cars zipping right next to you, room was quiet cold at night, saw a few moped collisions which led to physical fighting on route out of Riad, Riad is not child friendly due to its age, room needed a sweep. Neutrals - breakfast is provided (albeit very carb heavy!), nice place for couples (not young kids), were told to keep noise down from 8pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, whilst out room was pretty it could’ve done with a goooood sweeping & mopping! All in all a nice Riad with an equally nice owner…but definitely not kid friendly.

This riad is charming. Its decor is authentic, and its tucked away down a narrow alley, adding to the atmosphere. That means you need to arrange a pick up from the airport, as you’d struggle to find it in the dark on your own. It’s kept spick and span by the managers, who are extremely hospitable. We speak French, so could communicate with them easily, although their English is servicable I think, so long as you don’t have complex requests or questions. If you have mobility issues, this place is not for you, as there are several difficult steps to negotiate. We stayed in December, and the bedroom was a little cold at night, and in the morning, as it overlooks the open courtyard. Although it had a heatpump, it didn’t heat the room very efficiently, as it had such a high ceiling. However, there were blankets on the beds. The hot water takes about 5 minutes to warm up, but once it gets going, it’s super hot. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace, which was COLD! You need to pack a warm jacket, scarf and gloves if you stay here in the winter, unless you skip breakfast, or are hardy. The breakfast itself was carb heavy, but very palatable. The riad is located 10 minutes walk from the main square, which means it’s noisy - the open courtyard collects the sound from the many nearby mosques and the square if there’s a concert on. Having said all this, it’s a great little place for a couple of nights.

My room was quaint, and clean with an ensuite, and separate shower room. The bed was comfortable. The addition of toiletries, hairdryer and bath robes was a nice touch. The riad is located just a few minutes walk from Jmaa el fnaa but is very peaceful. Abdul is kindly and welcoming, and efficient but unobtrusive. Breakfast on the roof terrace was lovely, but very carb heavy, consisting of bread and pancakes with jams, yoghurt, juice, coffee etc and there were little birds flitting around nearby for company. The roof terrace gets the sun in the afternoon, but there is no view of the city from there. A 2 course meal in the evening at the riad is 150MAD I think. I did not eat there but heard the food was good. I imagine in the summer the riad would be a lovely cool space. The furnishings and plants are tasteful and simple, and there is a pleasant calm atmosphere. I would certainly consider staying here again, due to the ease of getting around the medina from there, and the fact that it is very civilised.

Abdul was our host at the Riad, and he was always gracious and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We arrived at night...Not only did Abdul took us to a local eatery (we were starving!), he came back to check on us to make sure we were alright, and offered to return again so he can walk us back to the riad! This riad is also walking distance to the main square...easy to find...easy to get around. Rooms are comfortable and clean. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace every morning. Though the medina can be quite noisy with all the action, Riad Noor Charana is always quiet and peaceful and relaxing. Good choice for a medina stay! Thank you, again, Abdul!

Still here! Sat on the roof terrace on our last evening eating our morroccon feast freshly prepared by our hosts. Warning - to avoid disappointment make sure you tell them what time you want to eat as they cook it all day for you. We stayed for 3 nights. The taxi from the airport dropped us a little way away and told us ‘it’s a short walk down there’. No help at all! Luckily an Australian couple saw us looking confused and helped. The rhiad is so traditional and lovely. Clean and cool. The hosts are so so helpful even though they cannot speak too much English we didn’t struggle to communicate. Breakfast was different every morning, freshly cooked. We ate out the first lunch and were disappointed..... we made sure we stayed at the rhiad to eat in the evenings as the food was out of this world, authentic and cheap!!! We would definitely return..... now we ve found our bearings!!! A truely fantastic gem

My friend and I have just returned from a 3 night stay here at this lovely riad. The location is a 10 minute walk from the main square. Staff spoke little English but communication wasnt an issue at all. The room and bathroom were clean and the beds were made every day. Breakfast was declicious and absolutely gorgeous to sit in the morning sun whilst eating. We also ate here one evening and the meal was super cheap and was probably the best meal we had in our time in Marrakesh. I would absolutely recommend staying here. The location is perfect, staff are super friendly and welcoming and it is a beautiful area of calm in an otherwise crazy city. We will definitely be returning.

The Riad itself was nice, but when I showed up my first night at around 11PM nobody was there (despite assurances that someone would be) and I had to stay at another riad that night. The following morning I spoke with the owner over the phone and she was very apologetic and covered the cost of my first night. I understand that things happen, but it kind of put a damper on my whole stay. Other than that the room was very comfortable, clean, and had great wifi reception. The Riad also arranged my transportation to the airport which saved me a lot of stress.

Well what can we say. Our stay at Riad Noor Charana was second to none. We were met by Abdul as our taxi could not get right to the door due to the riad being in the medina. We walked down a little street and were welcomed into such a beautiful home. Such an intimate and friendly place where nothing was too much trouble. Our stay exceeded all of our expectations, we really felt that we had found a hidden little gem. The food was gorgeous and the staff also booked us one of our trips which made it so much easier as the company picked us up directly from the riad. The location was perfect for exploring as the main square is only about a 5-10 minute walk but the riad itself is in a lovely, quiet and peaceful location. We had a wonderful holiday and I would have no hesitation in going back to stay at Riad Noor Charana.

A lovely riad, in the perfect location very close to the souks and central square, but a haven away from the bustle; it is very quiet despite location! Beautifully decorated and very pretty breakfast area and courtyard. The room was a little small but this wasn’t a major problem. Similarly, the shower takes a long time to warm up but again this is bearable and for the cheap price of the riad you can’t complain! Clean and well kept room. The staff are amazing and despite not speaking English are extremely helpful and will go out their way for you, with little thoughtful touches like lending an umbrella when it rained! Overall I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone in Marrakech, it is perfect.

-perfect location wise, literally around the corner from the main square and the Koutobia mosque, it can be seen from the rooftop terrace of the Riad -lovely breakfast on the rooftop every morning, the fresh orange juice was delicious along with pancakes, breads and a selection of jams -housekeeping was superb, clean and tidy -staff were polite and helpful even though they spoke little English -WiFi was good in the reception downstairs but no signal from our room -no safe provided so just consider not to take valuables -taxi/shuttle drop off is about 5-10mins walk to riad as the alleys are too tight for larger vehicles, this on arrival was a little bit of a culture shock as you will be living with the locals but will soon embrace the beautiful culture of Marrakech -overall a lovely Riad and well kept in the perfect location for souk shopping, Jmaa el Fnaa and the koutobia mosque

Welcoming place that were turned to it twice after initial stay. The staff are not English speaking so that aspect is morning only when owner comes in. She is very helpful. The man working is very polite n tries his best. Quiet location only 10 min walk to bustling square

Arrived in darkness and a man grabbed our bag and went into what looked like a dark cave. We had no idea whether he was with the riad at first. Our room had holes in the sheets, not particularly clean and absolutely no toiletries, not even soap we could use for that first night. Breakfast is a flabby pancake and stale roll every single day and we only saw this one staff member who spoke little English so could get no help or advice about trips etc. as we could not communicate. Located in a rather gruesome butchers area of the medina so not ideal. Dinner and drinks over priced so we had to get water in the Medina and eat out. Only guests staying there so baffling why the service was so poor.

I stayed here a couple of times based on reviews and wasn't disappointed. It is surprisingly quiet considering it's in the heart of the Medina. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was simple but consistent with elsewhere in Morocco. My double room was a bit quirky with en suite toilet but a separate shower, which was not a problem for me travelling solo, but others may want to try a different room. Happy to recommend.

Great little B&B, an oasis of peace and calm in the hassle and bustle of Marrakech. Conveniently located for walking to all the sights. A little hard to find initially as slightly hidden away, but great location overall.

We had a lovely stay at Riad Noor Charana. The riad is a perfectly located for the main square and is a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The staff were helpful and attentive making sure we always had breakfast before heading out the door, no matter the time, and making us up hot water bottles in the evening. Communication was a little difficult at times but I would definitely recommend the Riad Noor Charana and would happily stay here again.

This is the fourth time I've stayed at Riad Noor Charana. As always it was great. On this trip I was travelling with my almost 7 year old daughter. The riad is great for kids of this age as they have lots of space to play in the various public areas (roof terrace, courtyard, balcony) but are safe from going outside the building. Within 5 minutes of our arrival my daughter made a new friend - an 11 year old girl who was also staying there with her mum. If you're a woman travelling alone or with kids I'd really recommend Noor Charana as a place to stay. It's clean, beautifully designed and decorated and less than 10 minutes walk from the main square. If the busy medina gets too much you can come back here at any time of the day and relax on the roof terrace. We found all the other guests to be really friendly which added to the whole experience. We'll definitely stay here again!

Staff went above and beyond when I needed help: met taxi, guided me to riad, helped arrange haggle free taxi to airport, got me small change before I braved the medina, mint tea on arrival, Moroccan breakfast every morning on the rooftop.

It was a great stay for 3 days. Good location and nice internal courtyard. I walked a lot in medina and after lunch I returned to the hotel and had a really nice relaxing time in the courtyard. Owner is very kind and breakfast was decent.

Beautiful characterful Riad. Good location...close to the jemaa el fna (10/15) mins walk. Inclusive breakfast is fresh and delicious. The beds were comfortable and the en-suite adequate. The wifi signal was a bit weak in the room. but otherwise highly recommended.

A great welcome upon our arrival at the airport from the taxi driver arranged through the Riad owner and at the Riad itself where we were welcomed with a drink with nibbles, whilst processing the paperwork. We were given keys to the room and the main entrance door, so we could come and go as we pleased. The Riad was in a great location for us, in the old town, with the souks and narrow streets to soak up the Moroccan atmosphere. On our first day we used a tour guide to take us on a three hour walking tour of the city, which I recommend, as to go to places you would not find yourself and of great interest. The Red room which we stayed was very comfortable designed with the traditional Moroccan theme, the Riad staff were very approachable and friendly. Breakfast was served on the upstairs terrace in a lovely roof top setting and the set food was varied each day. We went on the tourist buses which were the hop on and off open air top, the red route took you around the town whereas the green route took you on the outskirts, both covered in the same ticket. We did the horse and cart for 30 mins and found this about right for us, by them taking us to the Mojorelle Gardens. The other excursions we took were good value for money too. We had a meal on our last night at the Riad and recommend, it was delicious. Thank you to the owner and staff to making us feel very welcome and hope to return again

Beautiful riad with comfortable rooms. About a 10 minute walk from Jemaa Fna Square and easy to navigate once you get used to it. The square is closed off to cabs after certain times so communicate to Abdul/Elizabeth when you are arriving to figure out the best place to meet up. Abdul was a fantastic help. The staff understands some English but for more complicated matters, suggest whipping out your online translators to communicate.

We had a lovely stay. We opted to make our own way to the Riad and I tried to follow directions I'd got from Google maps. Don't bother as the Riad is marked on the wrong road. Derb el kbir is off ben saleh. Its very easy to get to from el fna. But do be ware of the local scallywags who want to show you the way. They will demand payment even if you haven't asked for their help. Most locals are help full and very friendly. On arrival at the Riad we were given the most refreshing lemon iced drink by the staff. Quite possibly the sweetest nectar I've had anywhere. seriously it was Delicious, making my mouth water thinking about it now breakfast was included in the price at noor charana and whilst it was a simple breakfast it was different every morning. Was a nice touch. bins in room were emptied everyday, but I don't think they were cleaned. I'm a tidy person so it wasnt a big deal but as the rooms are smallish it could be a problem for some Bath room was a fair size in comparison to the room. There's lots of seating areas around the Riad over three floors so having a small room isn't a problem. we had a great stay and would Def recommend this Riad. Great location and wonderfully friendly staff.

Riad Noor Charana is a beautiful house, with modern comforts laced in traditional style. The staff was incredibly helpful when we were planning our days in Marrakesh, and with helping us decide where we would go next. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful! I would recommend this Riad to anyone looking for a place to stay in Marrakesh. A true oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of the Medina.

I went away with friends for my birthday to Marrakech! Riad Noor Charana was absolutely amazing! the service was brilliant, the traditional breakfast included was great and we asked to have dinner on the last night which was just phenomenal! Elisabeth, Radia and the team are so kind, hospitable and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was brilliant! It felt like a home away from home and will definitely be staying at this Riad again! Also, the location was perfect just being 5 mins from the main souks and everything needed! We managed to secure a driver for all the days through the Riad too which was perfect! Until the next time!

Marrakech can be a bit overwhelming even for the seasoned traveller but travelling with a 6-month old baby makes it even more challenging. We had a very pleasant stay in the Riad which provides a quiet haven amidst the hustle and bustle of the old Medina. It is easy to get lost in the narrow alleys of the old Medina, and the Riad unfortunately is incorrectly marked on Google maps which made finding it slightly harder than expected.

It is hard to fault, but for obvious reason the Riad did not cater so well for cold January evenings, particularly in the bedroom. After we got extra blankets on the second night it was much better, but we were still cold in the bedroom when dressing etc.

I traveled alone, the room was very clean, bed & pillows convenient, linen fresh & clean, hot & cold running water. Good breakfast. Around 3 minutes away from Jemaa El Fna, it is close to most tourist spots in Marrakech. Overall a great place to stay if you are looking to save a buck or two, but still get the experience of staying in a Riad. It is private enough and safe. Full value for money.

Riad Noor Charana was a perfect choice for our stay in Marrakech. It offered a unique setting that was very tranquil after a day out amongst all of the hustle and bustle. The staff were very accommodating, even picking us up from another riad when we got lost. We were made to feel at home which added a personalised touch to our stay. 10/10 - Wonderful.

We had a very nice stay at Noor Charana. Relatively easy to find , not far from the main square. Our room was a decent size, making our 3 days stay comfortable. Plus there is plenty of space to relax on the terrace or in the courtyard. A/C is a big plus. Breakfast was excellent, everything fresh and tasty. And you should try one of Radia's homemade traditional dinners! We will go back!
