I have never stayed in a riad before, so it was quite a unique experience. I didn’t know that in riads the windows are facing the inside of the building, so wasn’t enough sunlight, but still felt cosy. The design is beautiful, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was nice and definitely had its own charm— it is not a hotel-like experience, so you won’t see the usual room facilities, but it is really stylish.
Cons: I didn’t notice that you need to pay city tax when you arrive, so bring cash as they don’t accept cards. It will give you an approximate amount here on booking beforehand. Also, if you are taking a taxi from the airport, book directly through this riad or choose a prepaid shuttle service. Many Moroccan taxi drivers are scammers, they won’t give you your change, or will do something else to take your money. If this happens, take a note of the car plate and probably do not cause a scene. Overall, be careful and ask the managers here at the riad for help — they are really knowledgeable and are ready to help.

Riad eccezionale. Bellissimo, pulito, silenzioso, accogliente. Super consigliato!

The food is very good! I recommend having dinner here! The location is very good, in the old city center, close to the souks. Khalil is very kind and involved! If you want to experience the Moroccan spirit then I recommend it! There are small problems with the cleanliness in the room, in 5 days the trash was never taken out.
Cons: The room cleaning, in 5 days the trash was never picked up. The bed was just made and that's it.

Sehr schade. Da wäre viel Verbesserungspotential.

Stunning. Apart from the obviously atmospheric vibe of the central courtyard the bedroom was a great size. Comfy bed. Big shower. The team at the riad were so helpful and welcoming. They helped arrange our transfers to/from the airport and met us where the driver had to stop (cars can’t go all of the way into the medina). Offered to walk us to meet our excursion bus (it really was easy for us to find so we didn’t take up the kind offer). Accommodated an early breakfast to fit in with an excursion which wasn’t connected to the riad. Gave an excellent recommendation for dinner nearby based on what we said we were looking for. Great mint tea. Not only towel swans but bed art with my PJs lol. We are hoping to return.

Ryad agradable.

We arrived relatively late at the Riad, but the host was still extremely welcoming. As soon as we sat down to fill in some papers we got served with delicious tea and cookies. The riad itself looked beautiful and it felt like you were in the eye of a hurricane, extremely calm, which is very much necessary after spending a whole day walking around in the chaotic and noisy city. In general it was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to everyone.

Breakfast was good. Orange juice and hot drink, bread, pastries, pancakes, fruit salad, yoghurt
Cons: Aa mentioned in another review, they moved us to a different riad because they didn't have room. The owner had been in touch to ask if we needed a taxi from the airport (way more expensive than booking through booking.com) so knew we were on our way. The new riad was great, and slightly closer, but we had to go back round the corner to Plein Sud for breakfast. This was very disconcerting on first arrival in a very different setting to home. Didn't take card payment.

Staff was amazing and so welcoming. Badr and Khalil were such good hosts. The room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was really good .
Cons: The location is very central considering it's in the Medina. Very close to Majorelle Jardin , to the new part of the city as well qhere all restaurants are located. As a female group of tourists is really not recommended to walk around in the evening in that area where the hotel is so it's mandatory to hire a driver who will walk you to the Riad.

If you get the chance to stay here, do it. It´s about 15 mins walk to the main square, but in a really quiet street, so you can get a really good night`s sleep. It is bright, spacious, has a pool and the breakfast was lovely. The customer service however was probably the best that we have ever received in Marrakesh. The guys who run it were the most caring, friendly and fun hosts that we have had thus far in Morocco. Lovely people, who genuinely care about their guests and make them feel comfortable before, and during their stay. I had to take a taxi to the airport at 4am, and not only did my taxi arrive on time, but the manager was also there to make sure that everything was in order and to say goodbye. This really is a very special Riad indeed. Stay there.

The Riad was well-located between the Medina gate (where you can get taxis to the new city, airport etc) and the souks/square. Great location to be close to most of the major attractions. It is in a quieter area of the medina, and when you enter the Riad it is an oasis of calm. The staff are kind and attentive and went out of their way to provide help, directions, and even walked me to the taxi station and a few stores on occasion. Super friendly and accommodating. The facilities are well-maintained and well appointed, and very clean. The food was good, and a dip in the cool courtyard pool after a hot hectic day in Marrakech was just the thing to relax and recharge. Great place, I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: You must remember to order dinner in the morning, something I forgot to do sometimes. Breakfast is not included but is a nominal fee.

The riad is beautiful, super modern and clean but with so much authentic charm. The rooms are lovely, basic in terms of amenities (no tv, no hair dryer etc) but so modern and clean and spacious with lovely, comfortable touches like your own table and chairs and poofs. The staff were lovely and so helpful, super respectful and had great info on the local area. The pool was cold but great for the hot days and we loved sunbathing on the terrace. The rooms and location are absolutely fantastic, but what makes Riad Le Plein so special is the staff. Badr and the rest of the employees were so thoughtful, helpful, and caring that we felt very at home and supported in any questions or needs we had throughout the trip. They regularly went out of their way to go above and beyond in their service without any hesitation or complaint. I hope these people are being well taken care of with pay and time off because they more than deserve it!

Halil the night manager was very kind. He always offered us tea. There was a fridge we could put items in. Halil was very understanding about early breakfast.
Cons: This location was our first arrival in Marrakesh or Morooco or even Afrika. We were so lost all the time. The wifi was poor. Even with google map WE WERE ALWAYS LOST. My travel partner was afraid to leave the room for getting lost. I had to ask directions and then got hustled for a tip every time. And then I was scolded because the tip was too small. There were no street signs, directional signs, land marks at all.

The location is really bed. Small streets. People around there are a bit weird. They ask for money to show where the hotel is. We had to scream to some kids who took our suitcases by force to carry until the hotel (20 m. He carried) then, off course, they asked for money. We gave like 2-3 Euros. But it wasn't enough. They were trying to have some money from my husband's wallet. It wasn't nice to experience. Check-in took really long. The guy at reception was so slow. The room finally he gave us was on the roof floor. Where all the laundry hanging also. Sheets and towels looked like hand washed. The laundry room looked so messy and had no hygiene. The room was ok. Old windows, cracked walls. Cold bathroom. The only good thing was air-condition. It was working well. Internet is not really good on the roof. We had one double one single bed. Sing bed didn't have duvey with cover. There was just one blanket but not with cover. It took me long to make them understand that l don't want to use that blanket. Because it doesn't have any cover, and l don't feel comfortable touching it. Of course, they don't wash it every day. And l asked baby crib. He said before we sleep, they will bring it. But they never bring it. It wasn't nice. We also wanted to use their transportation to the train station for the next day. Our train was 12.50 from. MARRAKECH TO Casablanca. He promised us that the car would be in front of the hotel at 12.00. And we wouldn't need to carry our suitcases. My goodnes next day was a mess. Different guy who speak better English look liked he understood us but no he didn't. It was 12.30 but still there wasn't any transport I front of the hotel. By the way, it's small street, so no car could come in front of the hotel. So l don't know how they promised us that. So because of them we had to roonwith 2 small kids and carry all our stuff. Also we missed our trainsnd had to buy a new ticket.

The receptionist was really helpful, and funny. He always had a smile and a joke to greet us.
Cons: When we first arrived no one answered the door. We stood outside for 15minutes ringing the door bell and knocking before someone let us in. This mad is concerned that since there was no key or code for the front door we could be locked out at night. Fortunately this never happened and there was always someone to answer the door for the rest of our stay. The pool was also empty.

The location was great.
Cons: The pool that’s advertised is actually tiny, the shower did not drain at all so we had to stand in a freezing puddle of water every night, the owner tried to over charge me for the city tax saying it was 300 dirhams or more when it was 200 for two people for 4 nights, they also didn’t make up our room once in 4 days. I had to check out the day before the booking and my girlfriend had to stay the day after. I asked to pay for whole booking and they tried charging her more city tax then booking.com said once I was gone and she was on her own.
