Nous avons passé à Tigmi d’agréables vacances entre la piscine, les bons repas, les massages et le soleil. Et tout cela loin de l’activité trépidante de Marrakech. Un groupe de joyeux yogis étaient présents apportant calme et sérénité.

Lots of different areas to relax and lovely gardens. Close enough to Marrakesh for day trips but a tranquil place to retreat

Very good experience with an excellent welcome from the host, very friendly. Kindly upgraded me to a large room without asking. A peaceful and beautiful place with a heated swimming pool (rare in this region).

Rooms fine, staff lovely, a la carte food dreadful, inedible and exorbitantly and totally unjustifiably expensive, (avoid pizza and tigmi sandwich in particular) about 4 times the price of similar in Marrakech, which are larger by far. Set menu usually a very small tagine with no couscous – it is extra!). Breakfast very basic, eggs also extra (WHAT??). Very remote so no choice but to eat onsite or go hungry. Absolutely NOTHING to do onsite, this place is ideal for monastic retreats but not for a holiday break. I researched this break carefully and read reviews so an enormous disappointment and a case of the Emperor's New Clothes Syndrome. This is most definitely NOT family-friendly. No child facilities, manager invisible and eats better than his guests (dishes of big prawns carried past us!), does not check on welfare of guests, appears briefly at breakfast time only, shouts at staff. It was my wife's birthday and our anniversary, so I made sure that he knew when I booked, but there was no mention made of it despite my leaving the birthday card at breakfast. All in all a total and shameful disappointment.

Tigmi took me by surprise. Overall I would say this is more of a 4 star than 3, but the rustic nature of the buildings and staff to guest ratio probably keep it rated a 3. The hotel is located in a tiny Berber village a mere 20-30 minutes from the frenetic and wonderful city of Marrakech. The buildings and rooms have incredible authentic Berber details and as a result feel perfectly tied to the surroundings. The hotel/resort is run by a wonderful man named Jean Paul who will do his best to see to any request you may have. The bathrooms are big w/ nice toiletries provided. There is only Wifi at the restaurant and main heated pool, but this is the type of place to visit if you want to unplug. The hotel is on the Yoga retreat circuit so expect a group to be in residence during your stay. Restaurant serves a great breakfast (included) and lunch/dinner with a Morrocan special every night in addition to the more international a la carte menu. Daily maid service and turn down service provided. The Spa/Hamman is wonderful and a great value.

Jean Paul and his staff were attentive to our needs without being obtrusive. They seemed to go out of their way to meet individuals needs and wants. We liked being outside the noise and bustle of Marrakech whilst being able to travel in and out when we wanted. I like the Tigmi look. The room was comfortable (we slept until at least 9.45 every morning)and we enjoyed cosying up round the open fire when it got chilly one evening. We were close to the restaurant and bar so were lucky enough to benefit from the wi-fi facility too. The only thing I would say is that we would have liked to be able to make coffee in the room as we never knew when we would wake so could not order in advance. We really enjoyed the food which was varied and delicious. The weather wasn't fabulous during out stay (November) but the pool was still warm enough for a swim and the hammam is another nice facility.

If you are visiting Marrakesh then stay for 2 or 3 days in a Riad in the city but then head out to Tigmi. The perfect place to rest, relax and enjoy the excellent facilities, the food and the beautiful environment. You won't want to leave.

Tigmi is a beautiful peaceful boutique hotel in a traditional Mocrocain village. Service is wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. Food is also traditional Mocrocian but there is a small a'carte menu. Great for a restful retreat not really for families.

We have visited Marrakech before and stayed just off the Djeema el Fna, so this time we wanted a different experience. Tigmi hotel is not a conventional hotel in construction but has been built with much thought for both a pleasing design and to blend in to the landscape of the surrounding Berber village. It is slightly incongruous to have a hotel sitting in this rural area but it has been constructed sensitively to complement the landscape instead of sitting, as a conventionally built hotel would, as an eyesore. The hotel's design and furnishings are based on traditional riads so you still get the flavour of staying in a riad but with the peace and tranquility of being outside the town of Marrakech, with, of course, the option to dip in to the markets and then return to the restful Tigmi. The Tigmi has two swimming pools and a lovely restaurant. The breakfast is obviously not bacon and eggs but is a good variety of cereal, fruit, cake and Morrocan pancakes, and the lunches and dinners we ate in the restaurant were all delicious. We stayed for three nights and wish it could have been longer. All the staff were helpful and charming. We would recommend this hotel especially to couples looking for a relaxing break.

マラケシュ郊外のとても静かなホテルでした。周りは何もなく、きれいな星空と月の似合うホテルです。マラケシュに行く人には是非おすすめしたいです。
