Amazing and clean property, lovely helpful staff and a lovely breakfast; greeted with tea also which was nice. Located right next to the big square and walking distance to most places.
Cons: Charged 250DH for a 80DH trip with their transfer service however so maybe keep that in mind.

Cons: Efter den fĂžrste nat blev vi bedt om at flytte vĂŠrelse. De angav at der skulle hĂ„ndvĂŠrkere til vĂŠrelset. Det viste sig ikke at vĂŠre sandt, og efter at vi havde pakket alle vores ting sammen og flyttet til et andet vĂŠrelse, rykkede nogle nye mennesker ind. Ved morgenmaden den fĂžrste morgen, var der et hĂžjlydt skĂŠnderi mellem de ansatte som fĂžltes utrygt. Vi bad receptionen om at skaffe transport fra hotellet til Yves Sant Laurent-museet. En tur pĂ„ 15 minutter. EfterfĂžlgende viste det sig, at vi skulle betale 350 D for den tur (35âŹ).

Cons: Ă lâarrivĂ©e, les chambres semblaient propres, mais nous avons trouvĂ© de lâurine dans les toilettes non tirĂ©es dans les deux chambres. Lâexplication donnĂ©e par la rĂ©ception nâĂ©tait pas convaincante. Une forte odeur dâĂ©gouts Ă©tait Ă©galement prĂ©sente. Une autre chambre nous a Ă©tĂ© proposĂ©e seulement vers 22h30, trop tard pour nous aprĂšs une longue journĂ©e. La communication Ă©tait compliquĂ©e : le propriĂ©taire ou le gĂ©rant nâĂ©tait pas prĂ©sent et le personnel ne pouvait pas prendre de dĂ©cision. Le petit-dĂ©jeuner, demandĂ© plus tĂŽt et confirmĂ© pour 7h40, a finalement Ă©tĂ© servi Ă 7h55, ce qui ne nous a pas permis dâen profiter correctement avant notre dĂ©part. MalgrĂ© ces dĂ©sagrĂ©ments, aucun geste commercial ni rabais nâa Ă©tĂ© proposĂ©.

Cons: Détail : les coussins sont trÚs durs ! Un conseil pour une excursion que je n'ai pas faite et j'ai été dirigée vers une autre proposition dont le détail négatif de la précédente c'est avéré dans la proposition faite : du coup, un peu déçue. Le cable neuf de mon IPHONE a été échangé avec un vieux cable : du genre "un vol déguisé" et je n'ai pas apprécié. Point indiqué au gérant.

Excellent Riad! All the staff were friendly and helpful and nothing too much bother. Special mention to Husan who was so helpful and greeted us with a smiley face each time we met! So quiet and peaceful and always clean and tidy. Food was excellent and very tasty. And the location felt very safe and easy to walk to nearby attractions.

Location was a bit secluded, no access for cars/taxis. But safe enough to walk around.
Cons: Filling in forms and having to disclose personal data such as home address abroad wasn't necessary and should not have been required. Not sure why our passport details and bank card details were requested to be provided as payment for the booking had been made upfront on Booking.com before arrival. Passport details should not have been required at all but were still requested.

Dar Alfarah in a great location.. within minutes of the medina & souks. What makes this riad special are the people. Mohamad the manager, and drivers & people that tend to you were all outstanding. They made our stay really enjoyable - organizing excursions, made sure our needs were met.

It was exceptionally clean and very authentic decor. Loved the look of it all and the terrace was very pretty. Our room was spacious with an en-suite bathroom. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Couldnât do more for us. Close to the square (approx 15 min walk through the souk)
Cons: Nothing! Except 2 flights of steps up to our room was a bit of an issue for me personally only because I have a knee problem so could be an issue if you have mobility issues. Just ask for a ground floor room! I still enjoyed being there as it was beautiful.

Wir erhielten wertvolle Tipps und hatten das VergnĂŒgen, im idyllischen Innenhof einen typischen marokkanischen Pfefferminztee zu geniessen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. I booked this Riad via Booking.com and was not disappointed. We were met (as cars do not pass down beside the Riad) nearby at the taxi and escorted to the Riad. We were warmly welcomed with a chance to sit with mint tea and sweet treats before being shown our room. We were on the ground floor beside the pool and comfortable chairs. The room was as follows: - spacious -Very clean - air conditioned -had plenty of storage space -shower gel and shampoo provided with the shower and a small bar of fragrant soap by the hand basin - a safe in the wardrobe was provided -small table and chair to sit at -comfortable bed We had breakfast each morning included in the price and this was a great start to the day. It was served between 8am-10am. Urns with coffee, hot milk and hot water, cereal, home made bread, pancakes and other sweet treats. Omelette and fried eggs were also available together with fresh orange juice. You can also arrange to have other meals at the Riad, they can organise trips and they also offer massages for an additional fee. It was within walking distance of the main square Jemaa El-FNAA. We pretty much walked everywhere from this Riad including to the new part of the city which took us approx. 45 minutes to walk. You can get taxis and there are places you can travel by bus. The staff were so helpful especially the manager Mohammed. Nothing was too much trouble and they have a 24 hour reception.
Cons: My only criticism was that if you have a room on the ground floor some breakfast tables are immediately beside your bedroom window so if you wanted a lay in that may be an issue. Or if you wanted an early night as the comfy seats are beside the windows of downstairs rooms. So you can hear if people are talking. This may not affect you if you want to be up and out early each day or go late to bed. In fairness we managed to sleep well as it was very quiet during the night.

It is such an oasis of tranquillity in the midst of the bustle of the Medina. Just great to come back from a day trip and be able to relax. The staff are incredibly helpful. They will even accompany you to your taxi that they book for you, so no hassle with tracking one down. The Riad is located in a good spot, just at the edge of the Medina, so nice and quiet and also close to the Royal palace so it is well policed and feels safe. Itâs a frequent starting point for many city guides to start their tours of the old town. Breakfast is very good and every day was a surprise to see what cake the cook had baked, they are amazing!
Cons: If I were to be picky, the pillows are a bit too high for my liking - but I guess thatâs also personal preference.

Our experience at The Raid was fantastic! The decorations were stunning, the place was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

The room was spotless and comfortable, but what truly touched us was the warmth and sincerity of everyone working there. Mohamed, the manager, always made sure our requests were taken care of with such kindness. The hygiene staff kept everything clean and cosy, making sure we were comfortable at all times. The kitchen team, AlZohra and Amina went above and beyond to serve us fresh, delicious meals that felt like they were made with love. Both AlHussiens were incredibleârunning around tirelessly, always with a smile, making sure every guest was happy. Even the drivers who picked us up and dropped us off treated us with so much care and professionalism. Another highlight of our stay was the Hammam with Fatima AlZahraâit was an amazing and rejuvenating experience that weâll never forget. What stood out most was not just the service, but the genuine feeling of being welcomed as family. Raid AlFarah is more than a place to stayâitâs a place filled with warmth, generosity, and unforgettable hospitality.

The Riad is just at the beginning of the Medina, in a quiet street and few minutes walking to the main markets. There is a small swimming pool that was great for taking a mid-day break from the heat of the day (It was 105F!!). Staff is super nice and very friendly. Every morning they had a freshly made traditional maroccan breakfast that was ideal to start our day. The manager, Mohammed, also helped us organize a visited tour of the souks (market) and the medina and a 3 day trip to the desert. Althogether amazing experince!
Cons: Our room was on the top floor (3rd floor, on a beautiful terrace) with quite few stairs, whcih was not a problem for us but if you have trouble climbing stairs you might want to ask for a first floor room

El riad es precioso. Con una piscina de buen tamaño, al aire libre pero en la planta a pie de calle lo que hace que no pases calor al bañarte. Las personas que lo atienden son excepcionales, siempre pendientes de lo que necesites. La ubicación es perfecta porque aunque estå en la Medina estå cerca del Palacio El Badi (0,2 km) y Saadian Tombs (0,4 km), lo que hace que para acceder no tengas que entrar en callejones sino que llegas desde una via principal caminando 3 minutos por una zona muy bien iluminada por la noche.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here! Mohammed, the owner, is one of the kindest and most helpful hosts Iâve ever met â he greeted us with a lovely glass of Barbary whisky, which was such a thoughtful touch. Every single team member was caring, helpful, and incredibly kind, creating such a warm and homely atmosphere from the very first moment. They kindly allowed us to check in earlier with no issue and even organised a taxi from the airport, which made everything so easy. The location is absolutely ace â perfect for enjoying the area. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, with every detail making the stay feel special. The swimming pool and all the facilities were fantastic, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. And the food⊠wow! The chicken pastilla was simply the best of the best â absolutely unforgettable. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

Il personale Ăš stato sempre presente e pronto a qualsiasi necessitĂ , anche per la colazione, sempre ottima, anche la mattina prestissimo quando siamo partiti per le escursioni. Posizione ottima, appena fuori dalla medina e dai suck, solo 5 min a piedi. Transfer, da e per l'aereporto, perfetto e in orario. Nos decoraron la habitación para celebrar el cumple de mi mujer. La comida excelente , todo lo que diga es poco para lo bien que nos hicieron sentir, fue como estar en casa. Volveremos seguro . Riad Dar Alfarah was the perfect location to spend a few nights whilst visiting Marrakech. The property is beautiful and aesthetically stunning and has several spots to relax and soak in the sun. The rooftop terrace was lovely with a few different places to chill, as well as the downstairs. All of the staff were lovely, unfortunately I did not manage to get their names but they all went above and beyond to make our stay excellent! The location is perfect, about a 10 minute walk to the main square and a taxi rank near Kasbah Mosque only a 2/3 mins walk away. Would definitely recommend âșïž
Cons: The only thing Iâd have to say is no fridge in the room to store water, as it is very hot the drinks were room temperature within an hour or two.

Everything about this Riad exceeded our expectations! The communication with Mohammed right from the moment of booking with a welcome pack until the end of our 3 day holiday. Airport transfer was easy with Aliâs punctual service and we we very warmly greeted by Ishmail & Hussain. Both members of staff were extremely polite & helpful. The Riad was very clean and peaceful with well air conditioned rooms with WiFi and comfortable beds. We were 10 minute walking distance to the Medina and 20 minute drive from the airport. I am so pleased we booked this Riad when there are so many to choose from. We will definitely stay again next time! Thank you to the whole team for a perfect stay.

Location was really good. Walking distance to all the places you might want to visit in the medina. The riad was peaceful and clean and no cats within the riad. The staff were hateful. They were in touch before we arrived. You cannot drive up to the riad. Our taxi driver called and we got help with our suitcases. This was also the case when we were leaving. The breakfast was also very nice.

The moroccan mint tea welcome was great -- just what you want after a plane trip and 38 degree heat! We're very happy with our stay but the main thing to call out is the location. It's a quiet residential street with the medina streets just around the corner. We walked everywhere apart from to the Jardin Majorelle which is a taxi trip. The guys at the riad will sort out everything for you. The breakfast was also a real positive -- the authentic moroccan "pancakes"and freshly squeezed orange juice, a nice touch and perfect for us.
Cons: There's not much to say here. The whole experience met our expectations and we would recommended it to others. It's a quiet spot with a quiet vibe, so if you're a rowdy family or numerous group, this is not the place for you.

This is a fabulous Riad in a great location and the perfect cool, calm retreat from exploring the wonders of the Medina. It has been beautifully and thoughtfully set up and decorated with big comfortable rooms and gorgeous communal areas around the pool and on the roof. The staff were all extremely helpful, friendly, kind and knowledgeable - front of house all speaking perfect English. They all went above and beyond to see we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were amazing and beautifully served. We stayed for 5 nights with our 2 teenage children in a suite (double room with adjoining twin room) and couldnât recommend it highly enough.

Fabulous Riad in the medina and close to the main square with a beautiful pool and spa on site.Rooms lovely and beautiful breakfast included. Staff were exceptional, friendly, and welcoming and offering information and assistance whenever needed. Transport to and from the airport was arranged, and we had a wonderful day trip to the Ouzoud valley and a wonderful massage in the spa. Marrakech was a wonderful place to visit. Thoroughly recommend this Riad

We had the BEST beef tagine there!! Better than some other restaurants we went to. We were helped by Hussain, who was so kind and helpful - very welcoming and a great addition to their team.

Warm onthaal met thee en koekjes. Vriendelijk personeel. Upgrade gekregen naar een heel mooie ruimte kamer met heel mooie en ruime badkamer op het dak.
Cons: We willen niet ondankbaar lijken voor de upgrade die we kregen, maar omdat de kamer op het dak was, waar ook zonnebedden en tafels staan voor andere gasten, had je daar wel wat lawaai van de mensen die er verbleven en was het op de kamer daardoor ook niet echt rustig.

The riad was beautiful, amazingly decorated, clean and welcoming. The staff were some of the most helpful staff I've ever experienced. My friend and I staying there enjoyed the riad very much! The friendly and helpful staff really made the experience amazing and they went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after even when leaving the riad to go to our next location, they rang our pick up driver to make sure he knew where to find the riad. This made our whole stay seamless. We had a massage and my friend had the hamman spa option and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The location was great and very close to the large square. Can't recommend this riad more! Thank you đ

Had never been to Marrakech before, but the Riad was brilliant and made it all very easy, from the Airport transfer which was excellent, to checking in and meeting Mohamed the manager who was fantastic! He was really informative and drew on a printed out map for us on how to get around. We winged it and walked everywhere, the Riad was in a great location for everything. Is was lovely to come back to the Riad after a day out it the crowds. Would love to come back and would stay here again! The Dinner was great, breakfasts were all good and the staff were really attentive. Loved it!
Cons: The hairdryer was not the best, the cable was too short lol, but not enough to complain about! :D

Highly recommend this Riad which is in a fantastic central location and a quiet street. Mohammed and his team go out of there way to make you feel relaxed and at home here. From giving information on how to get around, to booking restaurants and organising excursions or just being available to ask about anything at all. Excellent Hammam with best ever massage. Special mention for the exceptional Mohammed, Isham and Ashraf who are available 24/7. Super friendly and helpful. Excellent on site restaurant and breakfast.

The location is IDEAL! Central and close to everything. Delicious breakfast- staff was kind enough to serve us breakfast on rooftop each morning. Staff was very accommodating for all our needs. Hamam was also incredible and super affordable. Mohammad and both Husseinâs were incredibly friendly and hospitable with ALL our needs. We were a group of four and got two connecting rooms on the rooftop that was so clean and roomy and private.

Good Riad in excellent location, safe and quiet, and just a short walk to the plaza (Djemaa el Fna). Staff was mostly good, and the housekeepers were concerned and caring when we got colds and had to go to the pharmacy. Breakfast and dinners were good, but you could find better food in the neighborhood. We had an excellent half day private tour of the Medina, a great full day private tour to Essaouria, and a great full day private tour to the Atlas Mountains, Berber village, and other beautiful places, including a huge reservoir. The Riad manager arranged the tours, and the guides he chose were very knowledgeable and helpful, making the cost of the private tours well worth it. We had the rooftop room with our own private terrace, and that was really nice and comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast coffee was weak, there were some hiccups and miscommunications among staff that distracted from the experience (inconveniences is what the main person called them), but is was still an overall good experience and I would recommend the Riad to anyone staying in Marrakesh. Note: of the 5 cities we stayed at in Morocco, Marrakesh was the loudest and dirtiest, had the most aggressive touts and merchants and street vendors who would sometimes follow you around unwanted. There are a LOT of dogs running around, one even nipped at my wife. The Medina and souks are overrun with motorbikes that race through the streets and alleys with no concern for pedestrians, so watch out.

Cons: Even though in general looks nice specially on pictures, property is a bit dated and needs TLC e.g broken toilet seat and tiles, spider webs etc Whilst staff are helpful, couple of things bothered us, the constant try to upsell and also it was sometimes hard to locate them at reception. Location was close ish to everything. Thereâs a mosque next door so be ready for loud call for prayer 6am.

The Riad is absolutely beautiful, clean and cosy. But the most prominent thing about this Riad are the people who work there. They are kind, helpful and so forthcoming. We felt very much at home there. Furthermore the Riad is very close to the main attractions in the city, which was very comfortable. Transfers were arranged by the staff if needed. They were as kind as to arrange a guided tour through the Medina upon arriving.

Our stay at the Riad Dar Alfarah was a lovely experience. The architecture was stunning, and the Riad itself was absolutely beautiful, clean, and spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the individual at reception - Hussain, who went above and beyond to assist us with helpful advice, professional service, and genuinely a very nice person.
Cons: The only minor suggestion for improvement would be to include tea and coffee-making facilities in the room. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

My husband and I stayed at Riad Dar AlFarrah and had an exceptional experience. First, the staff is incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating. Before our stay began, the manager, Mohammed, contacted us to see if we had any needs and to set up food for us. He was very responsive to any requests. We arrived very late to the Riad, but the wonderful staff member, Lhossaim, had arranged a beautiful table of food and was there to cater to our every need. The dinner was exceptional, and every morning, they provided a delicious breakfast. Shout out Lhossaim and thank you. Also, they were able to arrange activities for us and provide services such as hammam, private tours, and massage if you want. They are also great resources if you need help planning a trip, making plans, or anything else. Next, the inside of the riad is beautiful, and our room was exceptionally clean and charming. Housekeeping is very efficient and thorough. The location of the riad is also perfect. It is walking distance from all the best sites. Our stay could not have been better. The riad is like a 5-star hotel, and the staff are incredibly attentive and kind. We would highly recommend this riad for anyone visiting Marrakesh.

It's a nice Riad, very clean and comfortable rooms. The location is right in the old part of the town and close to the medina. It is not possible to get to with the car. In our case, the hotel sent one of their staffs who helped carry our luggage. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good to and we enjoyed it.
Cons: We felt that the property was a bit overpriced for the value. Also the bathroom drains had very pungent odours and made it difficult at times. We had to cover the shower drain with a towel when not in use and keep the bathroom door closed at all times.

We loved the feeling of escaping from the streets at this Riad. A beautiful, quiet contrast to 'the outside world'. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The room was generously spacious especially as a family of five, we had plenty of room. We really enjoyed breakfast served to our balcony! The kids enjoyed the pool even though it wasn't very warm. Even just sitting beside the pool was very nice. We had a lovely time!
Cons: The pool was not heated. The king sized bed was very very -very- firm. One morning breakfast was served in the side room adjacent to the entrance, by the pool but not around the pool and that was a bit odd and uncomfortable. They covered/were covering the opening to the sky above the central courtyard with what looked like large sheets of dirty plastic used for construction. I guess that's done to keep it warmer during the cooler months. But it certainly wasn't attractive, if anything it distracted and took away from the ambience and atmosphere.

Je kan voor alles bij ze terecht. Het ontbijt was zeker authentiek en is een goede weerspiegeling van de marokkaanse keuken, complimenten aan de vrouwelijke kok!

Cons: Difficult to find and taxis won't or can't take you to the door (but staff will come to drop off point and help with bags, but need to ring of course and explain where you are!). It was cold at night and no working heating in the room. No TV in room either which is a surprise these days. Quite limited breakfast.

The Riad's location was fantastic, allowing me to easily walk to almost everywhere. One of the staff members, who wore glasses (we didn't get his name) was incredibly attentive and friendly, radiating a genuine warmth.
Cons: The service from a certain staff member appeared to be biased. We observed that guests of a specific skin colour seemed to receive preferential treatment. For example during breakfast service, coffee was brought to their table, whereas we had to fetch our own. Additionally their food was served hot, visibly steaming, while ours seemed to have been kept warm under foil. On top of that, the staff was noticeably more attentive to them, while we felt as though we were inconveniencing them by simply asking for a small pot of butter. The service should ideally be consistent for all guests, rather than showing preferential treatment based on skin colour.

We were dropped off near the mosque, and one of the staff came and took us from the main road and walked us through alleyways to get to our riad. When you approach the door, like many of the things seen in Marrakesh, seem like Nothing, but when you get inside itâs absolutely magnificent ! The courtyard was somewhere where you could relax and take a swim. We had the large private suite and breakfast was served every morning on our terrace. The riad and rooms smelt wonderful. Staff member Hussayn gets a special shout-out who were lovely and kind to my young kids. We all had hammam massages done also at the hotel and honestly it was one of the best weâve ever had ! Location of this place was also great
Cons: I would have expected a kettle and tea making facilities in the bedroom. Considering you are paying a premium. They also do not allow any outside food into the hotel, which was a bit of a nuisance as our children are fussy with food.

Previous guests went out for a trip and we were told to wait until they back - have not faced this type of situation before. Hotel management did not work out the basic rules of check-out time. Make horrible mistakes to satisfy the customer. By the time the room was ready for us, time for our desert trip started. We are unable to take a breath before our first trip and ultimately it makes an unpleasant stay at Marrakesh.

Cons: We were in the noisiest room, we were kept awake until midnight with the music, the door and people coming in and out and then woken up at 6:30am latest with the breakfast set up. They did move us for 3 nights but for our last night we had to go back to our original room, which wasnât a good way to end the holiday. Some of the staff were good but one of them was just in constant panic mode and was quite irritating, breakfast was also not great as the eggs tasted like old oil and the rest of the breakfast was very basic.

A beautiful little haven in the middle of Marrakesh. Excellent location. The biggest stand out for us were the staff, they were so incredibly kind and accommodating - offering helpful tips and recommendations throughout our stay. They arranged all our transfers which made life really easy. Highly recommend . Beautiful pool and terrace.
Cons: The rooms are a little basic but clean and tidy. The breakfast was lovely but the evening food was nice but not amazing. The staff definitely made up for this!

Loved how calming and beautiful it is - a lovely break from the madness outside! It almost felt like a spa with the scent they put in the air and the music they play. The staff were incredible too, so smiley and friendly - really felt they cared about making our stay comfortable. They even did little birthday poster and balloons in our room to celebrate my day! Would definitely recommend, great location to everything too.
Cons: If you need an early night, it was fairly noisy in the evening with music/voices (we were on the ground floor). Wouldnât usually be a problem, just something to bear in mind if you have an early morning trip. The beds were also quite hard but got used to it. Iâm vegan so there wasnât much to eat at breakfast but I understand thatâs out of the ordinary.

Jacuzzi in room had very doggy buttons - couldn't turn it off one night and no staff around to help. No instructions on when could use pool until we tried to use it "at the wrong time". Also saw other people using it at the time we were told it was closed. High credit fard fees compared to other places we stayed.

Beautiful riad in the Kasbah area of Marrakesh. The courtyard, the room and the rooftop are lovely. The location is very central to explore the Medina.
Cons: - Breakfast was poor. We ordered extra eggs at cost, but these were tiny and overpriced for what it was. I am not sure they used a whole egg for the portion. One morning they did not bring any fruit - Most staff is friendly, but some have a bit of a diva attitude. Sometimes we had to wait quite some time to be attended - Nothing the hotel is responsible for, but the morning prayers will wake anyone up

I cannot express my admiration enough for Riad Dar Alfarah. Situated conveniently within walking distance of Kasbah Mosque and the Medina, the location is excellent. Hussain graciously picked us up and assisted with our luggage. The check-in process was incredibly smooth, with Munim taking care of us and offering Moroccan mint tea upon arrival. The culinary experience was outstanding, with chefs Mina and Hafsa surpassing expectations. They prepared a delightful dinner for us, a particularly welcome treat after a flight with three children. The rooms were impressively spacious and comfortable, and our request for a baby cot was accommodated. The staff went above and beyond, offering breakfast even after the scheduled time. From laundry services to childcare, taxi arrangements, and last-minute requests for amenities like hammam, spa, and manicure/pedicure, the staff handled everything with care and attention. We felt truly pampered and treated like royalty. The central pool, though initially cool, was promptly warmed up for our enjoyment. The entire staff, including Munim, Hussain, the cleaning team, and manager Mohammed, were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and courteous. They were instrumental in making our Marrakesh trip truly memorable. If I were to visit Marrakech again, choosing this hotel would be my unquestionable first choice.
Cons: Mostly everything was perfect. I suppose the pool could have been a bit warmer, but it was unexpectedly chilly that week so I would not fault them.

I have just come back from a lovely stay with my friends and I honestly do not know where to start. Everything was perfect! The Riad was beautiful, very clean and the staff honestly could not do enough for us. It was very local to the souks and you can easily access places. Mohammed the manager couldnât do enough for us, he really looked after us so much. It was my friends birthday and he organised a few suprises for her. What I loved is that you feel like they care about you and will look after you like your family. Also the spa is the best!

Our stay at Riad Dar Al Farah was truly unforgettable, and the team, especially Hussain, Mohammed, and their colleague (I forgot his name :( ), took great care of us. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with tea, helped us book taxis, and even surprised my sister with a beautifully decorated room for her birthday. They were always available to offer helpful advice, whether it was tips on bargaining in the souks or recommending experiences to try (and always answering us even late in the evening/night). The riad is beautiful and is super cozy & intimate Our room was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom. (I only took videos unfortunately so not many photos to share here). While some outside noise can be heard from the bedroom, the guests were quiet between 22:00 and 09:00. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a highlightâthere are only a few tables, and we usually had the place to ourselves. The pool was a perfect place to relax, and although we didnât have time to try the hammam or massages, weâre already looking forward to doing so on our next visit. The location is great, with several must-visit spots within walking distance. If youâre looking for a riad experience in Marrakesh, I highly recommend it!
Cons: - It is not really about disliking it but rather be prepared for it: the call to prayer in the morning was something we had to get used to. First night was rough because we arrived late and weee bot expecting it. However we highly respect their religious customs and just got used to it. Once we new, it was easier to adapt :). - The bed are also quite firm (not hard). It did not bother my family or myself but it is good to know.

Pero es el "precio" que hay que pagar por el tipo de construcciĂłn que es. No cambiarĂa mi alojamiento por este motivo. El desayuno es escaso si no se pagan extras. HubiĂ©rarmos agradecido que se hubiera incluĂdo un huevo y mĂĄs fruta, sin abonar por ello.

Loved the full Moroccian experience of staying in a raid. The decor of the place was splendid. Loved the beautiful touches of every single place. I loved the aroma of fragrances is they used in the rooms and in the lobby. Very centrally located to Medina square and all attractions, restaurants and shopping. A lovely spa they offer Hamman and message. Fantastic experience. I highly recommend the spa. They do a great job giving the Moroccan hamman experience. It the best massage I ever had. The spa lady focuses on every knot and pain you may have and making feel so much better. The food in the restaurant is very good. Loved there chicken skews. Housenn the staff is a wonderful gentleman that works there. That helps you to your room with luggage and serves you food. The staff is super lovely and kind and amazing hospitality.
Cons: I would say that when using the keys to unlock and lock your room was challenging to unlock and lock the doors. But that is due too the old way of how the raids used to be back in the day.

The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful! Each of them regularly asked if everything was okay and they did not hesitate to give their honest opinion about activities and sights in the city, which was really nice! During our stay it was at times 45 degrees outside and our room in the riad was a very pleasant temperature with a great AC, which was lovely!

The riad had a beautiful surrounding atmosphere and really great staff. The staff were the most friendly and helpful staff ever, they went above and beyond at every request, no matter the time. Everything about our suite was good. It was clean and roomy with excellent service in where we had breakfadt. Food was good and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was very comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future
Cons: As a group of 7 traveling with 3 children the breakfast wasnât very filling. Options were limited and had to pay extra for things like eggs and milk.

Cons: Das zweite Zimmer im Familienzimmer war sehr dunkel und auch ziemlich warm, da es dort keine Klimaanlage gab. Ansonsten war das Zimmer aber sehr schön eingerichtet. Beim FrĂŒhstĂŒck stehen nicht genug 4er Tische zur VerfĂŒgung, was bedeutet, dass wir eine halbe Stunden warten mussten bis wir frĂŒhstĂŒcken konnten. Ich glaube es wĂ€re besser Leuten eine FrĂŒhstĂŒckszeit zu geben oder das FrĂŒhstĂŒck woanders servieren, damit man nicht mit knurrenden Magen warten muss.

Le Riad Dar Alfarah est magnifique. Le patio comporte une piscine de belle dimension. Deux ou trois chambres sont au rez-de-chaussĂ©e, prĂšs de la piscine. Les chambres situĂ©es au 1er Ă©tage sont suffisamment en retrait du patio pour permettre au soleil de bien illuminer la piscine pendant plusieurs heures. De plus, cette disposition permet de ne pas entendre les sons provenant de la piscine lorsque vous ĂȘtes dans votre chambre. Enfin, au 2Ăšme Ă©tage, il existe 2 chambres et une immense terrasse Ă usage de solarium. La dĂ©coration est raffinĂ©e, la literie dâexcellente qualitĂ©, la salle de bain trĂšs propre et spacieuse. Le petit-dĂ©jeuner est excellent, copieux, variĂ© et les jus sont faits avec des fruits frais. Il y a possibilitĂ© de dĂ©jeuner sur place (mais je nâai pas testĂ©). Le Riad est tout proche de la Place Jemaa al Fna (5 minutes), de la MĂ©dina (8 minutes), du quartier des tanneurs (10 minutes), du Palais Bahia (5 minutes)⊠Enfin, lâensemble de lâĂ©quipe est dâune gentillesse extrĂȘme, entiĂšrement dĂ©vouĂ©e Ă votre bien ĂȘtre, anticipant les suggestions de visites et mĂȘme les rĂ©servations de taxi en pleine nuit pour rejoindre lâaĂ©roport. Je recommande particuliĂšrement ce Riad.

La struttura Ăš meravigliosa e tutto Ăš curato nei minimi particolari. Avevamo preso una suite familiare ed Ăš piu grande di casa mia. Avevamo un terrazzino privato, la jacuzzi e le stanze erano immense, davvero una soluzione stupenda Vicino alla principali attrazioni di Marrakech
Cons: La procedura di check in Ăš stata estenuante e nel frattempo abbiamo deciso di pranzare li. Non l'avessimo mai fatto: due ore per mangiare (siamo arrivati alle 13 e abbiamo preso la camera / pranzato alle 15.30), non Ăš assolutamente carina come cosa soprattutto visto il prezzo pagato. Avevamo un check out molto anticipato e ci avevano promesso succhi e qualcosa da mangiare visto che era incluso nel prezzo e non abbiamo trovato nulla quando siamo andati via. Il posto Ăš sicuramente stupendo, ma si puĂČ assolutamente migliorare su questi aspetti

Het is een rustige haven in het hectische Marrakech, en het is het heerlijk vertoeven aan de rand van het zwembad of op het dakterras. De airco in de kamer werkt goed en quasi geluidloos, het bed was zeer comfortabel.
Cons: Klein detail, we moesten tot een dag na aankomst wachten tot de manager aanwezig was om de wifi code te krijgen. In vergelijking met andere verblijfplaatsen in Marokko met gelijkaardig comfort waren de prijzen voor de kamer, drankjes en diner heel wat hoger, maar dat zal wel typisch voor Marrakech zijn.

Riad Dar Alfarah is a beautiful, quiet oasis right next to the medina. From the minute we arrived, all of the staff were extremely welcoming and gave us recommendations for what to see and do during our stay. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable and the food was excellent. It was also great having the pool and rooftop terrance to relax. Mohammed was very helpful in booking drivers for us to go to places further afield and also organised an excursion to the Agafay Desert (one of the highlights of our trip). Overall we absolutely loved our stay at Riad Dar Alfarah and would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Marrakech. Thank you so much to Mohammed and the team for your exceptional hospitality!

Tout ce qui est service restaurant câest trop rigide sur les horaires, et il faut commander son plat dans la journĂ©e pour ĂȘtre sĂ»r de lâavoir au moment du dĂźner. Pour les extras, les tarifs proposĂ©s par lâhĂŽtel ne sont pas intĂ©ressant. Le Riad est magnifique, avec des espaces privés et communs correctement répartis. Le personnel est absolument top, attentionné et réponds à nos questions tout en n'étant jamais intrusif. L'emplacement est idéal pour une visite e Marrakech et de ses différents quartiers à pieds, et à quelques minutes d'une station de taxi. La nourriture servie est trÚs bonne. Nous avons également testé le hamman et les massages que nous recommandons.
Cons: Lors du passage du service journalier de ménage dans les chambres, un changement des verres mis à disposition ainsi qu'offrir une bouteille d'eau ne seraient pas de trop.

A beautiful Riad in the quieter Kasbah area of the Medina but still ideally located for most of the sites and especially the Palaces. This Riad was exceptional in providing support prior to and during your vacation with transfers and organised excursions all available. Mohammed and his ream provided good service and were always available. Breakfast was a little slow and inconsistent but that may have been my own impatience? The Riad was clean and bright - a contrast to some darker traditional Riads - which gave it a more modern feel and the pool was a good temperature and very clean (and just outside our room - perfect!). We were given an extended check out which helped enormously - great bonus - Thx!
Cons: Hard to fault although the staff seemed a little rushed at times particularly breakfast. Otherwise a lovely place and ideal location.

Everything was so beautiful the breakfast was delicious and they offer you options too, the manager was so lovely while we stayed there as my sister and I travelled alone for our first time to Marrakech he gave us a lot of tips and always offered to get us a driver. The hospitality was wonderful made us feel very welcomed and at peace so it was very comfortable, the Riad isnât too far from the medina has a lot of things around which is lovely. Super vriendelijk personeel. Super goede service. Housein in het bijzonder had zelfs ons ontbijt klaargezet om 7:15 in de ochtend, zodat we nog konden ontbijten voor onze vlucht. Daarnaast is deze riad heel baby vriendelijk. Fruithapjes en groentehapjes kunnen allemaal gemaakt worden precies zoals je wenst. Ons zoontje had overgegeven en de vriendelijke manager had ons geholpen met alles schoonmaken. Verder was de hamam en massage, die door een mevrouw werd uitgevoerd, ook heel goed. Cons: First -when we arrived, the manager was trying so hard to sell us the tour packages, we were not interested as we booked with somewhere else. They were sit us down to wait for the room to be ready for hour, even though we arrived after 2pm check in time. We booked the WELCOME PACK from the website (SCAMMED!), it was just ONE ROSE on the bed with some petals around the bed and floor, that was ÂŁ10 service! On the website said it would be welcome drink etc. However, I needed to ask for the drink like few times until they finally brought it to us. Very noisy hotel as itâs a courtyard planning rooms are all facing each other, which we could understand that part. However, the staffs were chatting very loudly, almost shouting to each other early in the morning. On top of that, the air-con was super super noisy! We did not sleep well at all. The cutlery was very dirty EVERY MORNING!, cups werenât even clean found white cream coated on! The breakfast was disgusting! The orange juice wasnât even fresh, when you were surrounded by cheap fresh pressed orange everywhere outside, which you would expect at least the hotel would provide us as a standard. The fruit bowl was soaked in the thick yellow juice and some old mint leave on top, would be happier just give us the whole banana instead of that! No privacy whatsoever, the staff just came in to the room whenever they like, they were coming to do the room which we were expected. We came back in the afternoon, that was okay as expected. We went out again and came back in the evening and found out they came in and were moving our belongings around and just replaced the mat under the bed without noticing us anything which gave us very anxious about checking all our belongings. At the checkout, they let us wait for ages before the manager came down from upstairs.

The staff were very friendly and eager to help with anything we needed. The rooms are basic but we did not spend a lot of time there so they suited us perfectly. Breakfast was very nice but varied - two days we were offered scrambled eggs but on the last day we were just given bread as I think they were too busy. Service is very friendly but definitely moves slow. The pool and seating area was very relaxing and enjoyable, as well as the rooftop sunbathing space.
Cons: The manager spoke very rudely to the staff which was uncomfortable for us to watch.

Staff were friendly and very helpful! And the Road was beautiful! We felt safe and the manager spent time explaining Marrakesh and giving advice on check in which was really good!
Cons: The only con is that the pool doesnât catch the sun so even when itâs sunny if you do want to sunbathe you have to go to the 2nd floor- however this is just a small inconvenience, everything else was perfect!

Everything. From the moment we arrived to our departure date, everything has been perfect. The staff, the food, the rooms, the hospitality in general is fascinating. Everyone greet you with a smile, both Hussains and Mohammed the manager, the housekeepers, everyone went out of their way to make us feel safe and comfortable just as we were at home.

Cons: Das Bett war leider sehr unbequem und hatte in der Mitte eine Art Delle. Der Orangensaft beim FrĂŒhstĂŒck war leider extrem gesĂŒĂt und das Personal war nicht im Stande normalen frischen Orangensaft zu organisieren. Es wurden viele Reparaturarbeiten am Riad durchgefĂŒhrt, weshalb stĂ€ndig Handwerker hin und her liefen. Die Mitarbeiter waren offenbar leider darauf trainiert einem völlig ĂŒberteuerte Trips anzubieten und der Manager hat erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen eine vorlĂ€ufige Rechnung erstellt (wir wollten bar bezahlen, da fĂŒr Kartenzahlung ein 10% Aufschlag vom Riad genommen wurde). Diese Rechnung mussten wir mehrfach korrigieren lassen, da uns Sachen berechnet wurden, die wir gar nicht genutzt haben. Wir haben einen Ausflug mit dem Riad gemacht und dann festgestellt, dass wir das doppelte gezahlt haben, was andere auf dem selben Ausflug bezahlt haben, die ĂŒber andere Riads da waren. StĂ€ndig leere Versprechen, wie dass mir ein FrĂŒhstĂŒckspaket gepackt wird fĂŒr meinen RĂŒckflug in der Nacht, das ist natĂŒrlich nicht passiert.

Mon compagnon et moi-mĂȘme avons voyagĂ© pour la premiĂšre fois Ă Marrakech. En plus de tomber sous le charme de la ville, nous sommes tombĂ©s sous le charme de ce Riad. Tout Ă©tait parfait. Le service, la propretĂ© du Riad, la localisation, le petite dĂ©jeuner marocain, mais surtout la gentillesse des employĂ©s du Riad et en particulier de Monsieur Mohammed, le manager du Riad. Celui-ci savait que nous faisions un voyage vers le sud du Maroc. Bien que nous nâavions rien demandĂ©, il a pris le temps nĂ©cessaire pour nous donner le nom dâendroits Ă visiter et Ă dĂ©couvrir. El lugar era muy bonito, relajante y acogedor. Se respirava tranquilidad y paz. El servicio del personal tambien ayudo. Era muy simpatico el chico que nos atendiĂł en todo lo que necesitĂĄbamos. Nos encanto nuestro paso por aqui! :)

lo staff Ăš stato davvero gentilissimo. Una posizione quasi ottimale e comunque una bella struttura.
Cons: Hanno accreditato costi ulteriori senza comunicarcelo proponendo alternative gluten free per colazione per un celiaco salvo poi farcele pagare. Alla mia richiesta di rimborso hanno sostenuto di non poter fare un bonifico internazionale e detto che avrebbero mandato i soldi in contati un una busta. Dubito che arriveranno. Stanza rumorosissima alle 5 del mattino cominciano a fare i tavoli per la colazione e se sei al piano di sotto ti svegliano.

Lâemplacement est idĂ©al pour visiter la ville ,mais franchement le vrai plus du Riad est la qualitĂ© de lâaccueil par le gĂ©rant Mohamed qui vous fait sentir comme chez vous . Mon fils est arrivĂ© malade depuis lâavion il lui a proposĂ© une tisane et demandĂ© si il allait mieux le lendemain. Le couscous au Riad Ă©tait excellent,les conseils de Mohamed pour les visites et les excursions parfaits . Une hospitalitĂ© dont on se souviendra !

Location was excellent, just inside the medina within an easy walk to the market square, and, at the same time, quick access to taxi stand. We dined in the market area one day and took a taxi to restaurants in the new town the next day. Both were excellent. The area was very well lit and felt quite safe when we returned late night both days of our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, with very prompt service to any request. Breakfast was sumptuous and very tasty. They even had a nice terrace with comfortable lounge chairs to enjoy the sun or the view. The hammam & massage was excellent - very friendly external team came to the riad, and, while their English was a bit light, service was excellent.
Cons: Only concerns we had were: - all the doors in the room were very squeaky - which was quite an annoyance - the 2 room suite that we booked was also a bit smaller than we expected - the room had a door to access the toilet, shower and two basin wash area - this door was an annoyance as one had to close this door to access the toilet door, while the shower was open and water would splash into the common wash area - it might have been better and more comfortable if they had a door for the shower instead and left the access open.

Cons: Si on veut vraiment ĂȘtre pointilleux, les matelas et les oreillers sont vraiment trĂšs durs. De plus nous Ă©tions Ă lâĂ©tage et dans une chambre qui peut communiquer avec une autre. Or ceux qui Ă©taient dans lâautre chambre Ă©taient trĂšs bruyants jusque tard dans la nuit, nous nâavons donc pas pu dormir paisiblement

This is an excellent small hotel/Riad both for its location (the Saadian tombs, both Palaces whilst only being a few minutes from the Koutoubia tower and Jemma el Fna) and its facilities. It has a tranquil atmosphere in part created by its central courtyard and pool, whilst being exceptionally clean, with approachable and helpful staff. A credit to the owner. The hotel driver who will take you to the Majorelle gardens, airport transfer or other excursions is wonderfully informative. All in all, we found nothing to fault.

Room was very large and comfortable, with a nice shower and lovely dressing area. It was located directly next to the pool but luckily it wasnât noisy when we stayed. Location was good. The couplesâ massage was very nice.
Cons: We found hairs in our bed upon check in. Staff were very friendly, but often did not make extra effort to accomodate us. We tried 3 times to eat on the roof terrace; first for dinner, there were no heaters and staff suggested we moved downstairs (there are outdoor heaters downstairs - it would be nice to move one to the terrace). That evening we spoke to the staff and asked if we could have breakfast on the terrace. The message wasnât relayed despite the same staff working the next morning, and they said it would take 15 minutes to set up breakfast on the terrace (this seemed a bit extreme. I think they just didnât want us to go up there as it inconvenienced them). The last day, the day of check out, we asked once again to have breakfast on the terrace and they said it wasnât possible. I was quite disappointed. The hammam we booked was too hot for us and she didnât spend much time at all on the scrub. The hair dryer in the room is very weak and overheats after about 1 minute. I asked if they had a regular one and the staff to be fair did look everywhere and about an hour later finally tracked one down. This seems like it could be a common problem so I would recommend having spares available or upgrading the wall mounted ones. The plastic covering over the central courtyard of the riad looked very dirty and cheap. The outdoor spaces to relax werenât very comfortable - used towels which were not replaced, maintenance workers constantly walking through, etc. Not my favourite of the two riads we stayed in.

Cons: Le petit dĂ©jeuner est composĂ© de deux crĂȘpes pour chaque convive, et un morceau de cake. pas de pain ni de viennoiseries, pas de thĂ© Ă la menthe et lorsqu'on demande on a le droit Ă un petit verre, le jus d'orange est industriel, avec une petite salade de fruit. Les produits de la salle de bain sont Ă l'image du petit dĂ©jeuner, une savonnette de la taille d'un pouce, et des produits de bain sans aucun Ă©tiquetage pour les distinguer .

This place is very nice. The staff is extremely kind and all of them seemed genuinely happy. The food was some of the best I have ever had. To put more perspective, we ate at a Michelin star restaurant in Amsterdam a few days before arriving in Morrocco. The chef at the Riad Dar Alfarah could easily hold her own against a Michelin star chef, it was that good. We ordered the Lamb and the Moroccan Pastilla.

Vor allem die wunderbare Betreuung und das nette Team sehr zentral gelegen, ruhig in einer kleinen Gasse, mit wenigen Schritten in der Kasbah, mein Lieblingsviertel in Marrakech. Kleine HĂ€ndler, gute BĂ€ckerei. wunderschöner Innenhof, wo gefrĂŒhstĂŒckt und abends ein Drink genommen wird. Es gibt auch einheimischen Wein.

The staff was amazing. Very friendly and patient. They were very engaging with my kids and always had a smile with their hospitable service, especially Molem and Hassan.

We loved everything!! from the pool in the padio area to the sunny terrace. We also enjoyed the breakfast offered in the morning and the staff, who was very kind throughout our stay.
