Everything was excellent. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic and the quality of the food was outstanding. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive and professional during our entire stay. They made us feel very welcome and helped us with everything we needed. The hotel atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would happily stay here again.

Hôtel sans plus, avec un lobby moderne et agréable pour un verre de vin ou un café. Extérieur beaucoup moins beau mais on l'oublie une fois à l'intérieur. Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien qu'un peu vieillottes. Matelas plutôt dur. On entend le bruit de l'éxtérieur, mais je l'ai trouvé supprotable. Je n'ai pas testé le petit déjeuner car partie trop tôt, mais j'ai apprécié le petit dej à emporter qu'ils m'ont préparé. L'hôtel manque un peu d'entretien, mais c'est le cas pour la plupart des hôtels à Marrakech, meme des 5 étoiles. Il est situé dans un quartier résidentiel - Quartier Gueliz - et donc entouré de commerces, pharmacie, restaurants locaux et transport public.
Cons: Le restaurant de l'hôtel est absolument hors de prix et pratiquement sans options végétariennes. Ne tombez pas dans le piège - plusieurs restaurants à proximité proposent des menus plus intéressants, voir à 1/4 du prix.

I really like the location as it’s surrounded by everything you need. I even bought 2 rugs from Galerie Marzouk who ships for a small fee, right next to the hotel. Awesome food at the hotel and many places you can dine in around the area too. Many galleries and museums all walking distance. Jemaa el-fna is 40 mins walk away. The staff were great and helpful. Got an upgrade to junior suite. Fireplace was on at breakfast, lunch and dinner and set a nice ambience. There’s a pool and spa too which can be used.
Cons: It’s above a bar/club which closes at 4am so quite a bit of noise at times. My phone in room didn’t work in junior suite so couldn’t call for room service. A couple of light switches don’t work either at bedside but these are all minor issues.

We were traveling with my 16 year old daughter and had already contacted the hotel to request a separate area for her to have privacy. Marrakech was the last part of our weeklong travel around Morocco and was our favorite part of the adventure. Bab Hotel was a great place to start the day and return to relax and refresh. The unit we got was on the 5th floor and excellent: clean, spacious, close to the elevator (there was alot of noise from the street as there were a few restaurants that stayed open late night - but we weren't too bothered by it). There was a twin rolling bed, L-shaped sofa, TV and plenty of room for her to spread out. There was a sliding door into the master bedroom to give us our privacy as well. We had plenty of space. The closet was amazing - enough space to organize for more than a week! The bathroom situation was a bit odd - the toilet/sink was separate from the bath area. There was plenty of room in the shower bathroom to be able to have a toilet - however it was also nice to have a toilet separate from the shower (two toilets would have been nice). There were two balconies in this unit which was also nice. The hotel staff was amazing - special kudos to Sabrine - she came with the driver to pick us up from the airport as our flight landed at midnight and she came to make sure our transfer/transportation and all were smooth. She helped make our stay comfortable, convenient and enjoyable. Breakfast was great - variety and very tasty. The bar was great as well. There is a spa and they were accommodating as well as professional and peaceful. Bab Hotel location was good as well - there are many banks, convenience stores, restaurants within walking distance. The New Year's Gala was the icing on an already delicious cake! There was entertainment : DJ, band, performers - musicians, dancers, belly dancer, drum player - so much to keep us entertained. Service and presentation was great. My daughter had the best time!! Thank you for such a memorable stay! Happy New Year!

Cons: Our double bed was two single beds put together to make one double bed. This made it difficult for me and my partner to sleep in. We didn’t sleep comfortably for the entire stay. Plus we told the receptionist and she did nothing about it. We complained twice hoping they would replace the single mattresses for one double mattress but they never. We are very disappointed about this. But on our check out another receptionist told me will refund my money as she will talk to her management but still not received nothing from them. I will say to everyone stay away from this hotel.

A small paddle pool with roof that is covered and can be opened in summer also near restaurant. A small shop and masseuse services too. In useful location for restaurants, bars and shops. Walkable 30 mins plus to some tourist sites. Minor downside was the noise at times from the street at night and the lack of sound proofed windows and doors. I needed my ear plugs at times. Also, found the step up shower cubicle a bit daunting and the spongy shower tray wasn’t great. No idea if all rooms had that layout but felt unsteady every time I showered. Still, overall this is a good quality hotel with great staff and would stay again.

Hello, it is our first time in Morocco and we love ver Marrakesh. Our stay in Bab Hotel was very comfortable, and I would like to especially say that Ouma was very helpful and gracious to us. On my first night, we did not know where to eat dinner and she recommended a good place nearby. She made sure to take care of us that we are comfortable. Would love to stay with you again.

Cons: عدم صدقهم حيث انهم قالو ان مواقف السيارة مجانا ولم يكن ذلك وليس لديهم مواقف للسيارات اصلا. و عدم ردهم على الاتصال. موقعهم غير واضح وليس موجود على الخرائط حيث وجهني الى طريق خطاء وحي شعبي قديم صغير. انصح بعدم التصديق بما يكتب في البوكنج.كذلك الموظفين يعطيك من طرف اللسان حلوة وهو غير ذلك مجرد لتلميع سمعة الفندق.نجمتين كثيرة عليه. ولكم الشكر

L'équipe d'accueil est très agréable, merci à Sabrine et sa collègue pour l'accueil, la suite est fabuleuse, la chambre est très confortable, les produits de soin de qualité, l'emplacement est super, en plein centre de Gueliz donc tout accessible à pieds. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est exceptionnel. Je recommande !
Cons: Le seul bémol est la clim : nous avons eu très chaud même en mettant la clim au plus frais, le frigo est petit et enfin nous avions réservé pour 4 personnes mais les équipements ont été fournis en nombre insuffisant : (2 peignoirs 2 petites serviettes, 2 échantillons de savons, 2 petites crèmes corps, 1 brosse à dents, 2 chaussons jetables), dommage.

Nous venons au Bab Hôtel depuis son ouverture et avons pu suivre son évolution. Les dernières améliorations côté décoration sont particulièrement réussies. L’emplacement est idéal, le confort toujours agréable, et le personnel charmant. Accueil parfait par l’équipe avec une mention spéciale à Lamia et au jeune homme de l’accueil fidèle au poste depuis des années. Les petits déjeuners sont toujours parfaits (merci et bravo à Khadija pour sa disponibilité et son sourire !). Nous reviendrons très prochainement !

C'était pourtant mon 4ème ou 6ème passage dans ce mme hotel .... mais il n y a pas d âme ni de chaleur ni meme de la fidélité .. Je souligne que non seulement j etais cliente mais j achetais aussi dans leur boutique j'ai beaucoup dépensé lors de mes passages et ils n'ont jamais été capable d'être sympa et fidèle ... mon ami et moi avons été très mal reçu parceque nous avions une différence d'âge et parceque nous etions marocain... en revanche nous avons été très critique sur la manière dont on recevait les français et autres nationalités ... C'est une honte de réserver un accueil aussi mauvais et rabaissant .. et ce manager a bien félicité sa stagiaire pour son comportement tout cela parceque nous étions marocains ... honte à lui ..

I stayed at Bab hotel for 3 nights this past April and had a wonderful experience! The hotel staff is extremely friendly and will arrange your transportation to and from the hotel (make sure you take at Morocco currency). You can get massages for a good price here and breakfast is included. The location was safe and away from the center of the city. The rooms were spacious with an amazing bathroom. The pool isn't appealing but overall a place worth staying!

Beautifully designed hotel, type of boutique hotel. only 5-minute walk from the main street, where you found many restaurants. 20 mins walk from the medina. Not far from train station and airport. many restaurants nearby, night lounge and club nearby. very nice room, lovely small pool, cozy bar and restaurant. Smiley faces behind the reception, always willing to help you but Sabrina, Lamia and Dounia at the reception was very kind and very professional. always willing to help with big smile.

The hotel is within walking distance of the train station, shops and restaurants. We even walked to the medina several times. There is a fantastic restaurant nearby if you need a break from Moroccan flavours called Plus61. The room is spacious but odd, the toilet is next to the front door and the rest of the bathroom is across the entire room. The decor of the room is black and white and the toilet room is tiled completely matte black, it’s a dark and strange. The bed was comfortable and huge, a standard king in North America is 7 feet wide, this bed is 8 feet wide! Breakfast was nice, there’s an omelette station, fruits and salads, breads and eggs. It was good. The restaurant area looks into the pool area, the water was cold, the roof is retractable, we never saw anyone in the pool, it would be awkward to swim with everyone watching you.

Le petit déjeuner est vraiment parfait, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour se restaurer, de nombreux choix. Le personnel est vraiment agréable et souriant, notamment à l'accueil Ahmed et au niveau de la restauration Yassine. La responsable du restaurant à toujours le sourire et prends du temps pour échanger avec ses clients, ce qui est très appréciable. L'hotel est conforme à ce que j'attendais, et le plus est le lit extra large !
Cons: Ce qui peut être amélioré c'est de distribué une petite bouteille d'eau chaque jour réservé, et pas seulement le jour de l'arrivée. Il y a un peu de bruit dans la rue le soir jusqu'à maxi 22h30, 23h car il y a un restaurant en face de l'hotel qui semble être très côté, et il y a beaucoup de taxi en attente, et ils parlent fort en attendant les clients. Mais après tout est calme.

Cons: Camerele necesită mai multă atenție la curățenie,in special baia ( este mult păr pe jos). Micul dejun trebuie mai diversificat,cam puține alegeri pentru cei din partea europeană. Iar la final o mică recomandare: farfuriile și bolurile cu diverse salate, sosuri,etc. ar trebui etichetate, să știe și clientul ce mănâncă. Mulțumesc pentru ospitalitatea dumneavoastră.

Overall, a nice and solid hotel. Did not have any issues and staff was pretty attentive. Breakfast was minimal but we were about to feed ourselves well before our next trip. In general, I would recommend staying if you are looking for state without much time in the room. While, the rooms are huge, the inside can be much better. We checked-in super late and checked out super early, so did not get time to properly feel the vibe. To summarize: functional and clean hotel

L’éclairage dans la chambre, qui pourrait être mieux pensé. Une connexion Wi-Fi peu fiable. Expérience mitigée au petit-déjeuner : La qualité du buffet est bonne, mais la présence de moucherons autour des fruits et légumes gâche l’expérience. Le jus de concombre supposé frais avait un goût acide et de pourri, ce qui est inacceptable. Le ménage des chambres a connu un raté, dont on m’a fait porter la responsabilité au lieu de l’assumer. Verdict : Cet hôtel pourrait être un bijou à Marrakech, mais certains détails nuisent à l’expérience. Y retourner ? Je ne sais pas encore...

Was in a good location, easy to get a taxi outside. Hotel staff were brilliant and very accommodating and friendly. Had left lots of valuables unlocked in the room and we had no issues with anything going missing. Cleaners were brilliant.
Cons: The sink in the bathroom was leaking if we used it, but we had 2 sinks so it was fine. the room was big and nice but I think maybe generally some areas of the hotel need a little refurbishment, some fresh carpets and floors and maybe new seats in reception, but it doesn’t negatively impact your stay.

Cons: The hotel is looking very tired, they are trying to paint it to look fresh but it could do with a proper refresh as it's just painting over the cracks. Beds were super hard and wasn't a good night's sleep. Breakfast left alone to be desired, way too much sweet stuff, although Orange Juice was lovely and you could taste the sunshine.

Una noche me encontré una cucaracha y en los 3 dias que estuve no limpiaron el suelo. La ducha muy deteriorada. El desayuno muy normalito. Hay poca luz en la habitacion. En general es mas viejo de lo que aparece en las fotos.

Room was spacious, pristine, superbly clean ( commend staff). Restaurant a delight, food selections fresh, plentiful and varied. Staff could not have been more helpful - and friendly. Loved the option of chef preparing omelettes to own taste. Reception and front of house staff were so kind and helpful. Stay again? Absolutely. Lots of nearby restaurants, reception staff happy to recommend " the best ones".
Cons: I was disappointed that the large roof terrace/garden/bar was not open at all. On those really lovely warm afternoons we would have to go elsewhere to enjoy the sun shine. We would have liked to relax up there without leaving the hotel. Would have liked to have known this prior to booking. Rooms overlook a busy ( noisy) road so it can be noisy both early in the morning and late at night. You cant control noisy traffic.

La chambre est spacieuse, le balcon est très appréciable. Les produits d'hygiène sont à disposition. Le room service est très correct.

Le buffet du petit-déjeuner et la gentillesse du cuisinier aux omelettes et autres œufs sur le plat… Ah oui, aussi à noter : l’hôtel n’ayant pas de parking, la voiture est gardée la nuit dans la rue impeccablement et sans embrouille.
Cons: Chambre 406, une maintenance électrique serait la bienvenue : prises secteur pour la plus part défaillantes, lampe de chevet côté droit très faiblarde. Boules Quies recommandée avant 2 heures du matin. Et un ascenseur en panne et l’autre d’une lenteur extrême qui oblige à l’exercice ;o)

Die Lage des Hotels in Guéliz ist sehr zentral, fußläufig zum Bahnhof und den diversen Einkaufs- und Restaurantmöglichkeiten des Viertels. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und das Personal freundlich.
Cons: Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Ein Anstrich wäre an vielen Ecken in den Zimmern angebracht, die Sauberkeit kann erhöht werden. Es wird im Hotel ein Raumduft verwendet, der je nach Zimmer sehr penetrant ist. Einer von zwei Aufzügen funktionierte nicht. Die Dachterrasse, die wir gerne genutzt hätten, wurde leider umgebaut/erneuert.

All the staff were Exceptional!!!! From concierge, to front desk, to the staff in the restaurant all the way to the manager I have never seen any team as warm, nice, helpful and pleasant as this team. Ahmed went over and above what I've ever seen any hotel staff do. I've travelled many countries, stayed in countless hotels this is by far the best team I've ever met & I've met nice ones before so you can imagine what I'm talking about !!!!!! Thanks to this lovely team who made me feel extra special on my birthday by pulling up a surprise for me which was at zero cost to me.

My partner Emma and I have been staying at Bab Hotel for several years. We love the location, the style of the hotel, generously sized rooms and the buffet breakfast is very good value and offers lots of variety. But the best thing about the hotel is the team who are just great. The jewel of all the staff is Lamia - she really has become like family to us. She is always so welcoming, friendly, helpful and professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable stay in a great part of Gueliz near lots of fabulous restaurants and shops.

All the staff were Exceptional!!! From concierge, to front desk, to the staff in the restaurant all the way to the manager I have never seen any team as warm nice, helpful and pleasant as this team. Ahmed went over and above what I've ever seen any hotel staff do, I've travelled many countries, stayed in countless hotels this is by far the best team I've ever met & I've met nice ones before so you can imagine what I'm talking about !! Thanks to this lovely team who made me feel extra special on my birthday by pulling up a surprise for me which was at zero cost to me.

Cons: Pour un 4*, peut faire beaucoup mieux, quand au linge de la salle de bain, les accessoires ne sont pas renouvelés comme coton tige, savon etc... le petit déjeuner n’est pas varié et tous les jours identiques.

I have to mention the staff first. They made the difference. What a fantastic team who were attentive and made me and my family feel special. The rooms we had were enormous. The bed was perhaps the most comfortable I've ever slept in. My wife and I have different meanings of bed comfort but we both felt the bed was great. The shower was perfect. The rooms could be adjusted to the desired temperature. Breakfast was lovely, with a great variety of items (hot and cold). I looked forward to breakfast. The location was also great. We could walk to local shops and restaurants in less than 5 minutes, and get the centre of things within 25 minutes at an easy pace. I'll finish of by saying again that the staff were amazing. There is only one other hotel I've been to in the world where the staff really go above and beyond, but this one tips the scales.

Very bad customer service, the hotel canceled the reservation without communicate and the do not respond to e-mail. They used the excuse of control code of the credit card invalidate I use the same card for other reservation and I did not have any problem...I do not suggest this hotel...very insensitive and not available

The hotel was really nice and the staff were so amazing . A big shout out to the general manager who made sure I was comfortable. And to all the kitchen staff . And to the bartender Mohammed and to Mohammed on the 5th floor and lastly to Soufian the kitchen director . My stay was amazing and I hope to be back again .

The room is very large and comfortable, bathroom is amazing, breakfast is excellent and the restaurant downstairs serves good lunches.
Cons: Noise from the street is quite present in the room. Windows are inefficient. Earplugs are a good idea.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce superbe hôtel du centre de Marrakech. C'était pour notre anniversaire de mariage et le personnel nous avait préparé une superbe chambre spécialement pour cette occasion. Grand merci à Yassine et à tous le personnel pour cette attention et le soin de leur accueil. La chambre était très confortable et bien équipée.

L'emplacement idéal dans le quartier de Gueliz pour pouvoir se balader et sortir à pieds avec des resto cool à proximité... Un bel hôtel avec une déco contemporaine Les chambres et sdb spacieuses. Un bon petit dejeuner complet et très varié avec aussi des produits locaux :-) Le roof top avec un bar
