Cons: Le stanze che affacciano sulla via principale sono illuminate a giorno dalle luci della farmacia. Sarebbe importante mettere una tenda oscurante. Inoltre, ho lavorato dal riad per alcuni giorni. La connessione wifi fa il suo per inviare qualche mail o cose simili, ma non la consiglio per le call se dovete farne.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral mitten in der Medina. Die Zimmer sind jedoch sehr in die Jahre gekommen und man sollte am besten etwas französisch sprechen und mit den Mitarbeitern des Riads zu kommunizieren. Preis/Leistung sind aber wirklich gut!

We arrived an hour after the check-in time, but our rooms were not ready and we had to wait for them to be cleaned. However, the location of the riad in the center of the medina is perfect, it is located on the second of the two long streets in the medina, but on the quieter one, which is closer to the sea. During the day, the street is busy, but at night it was quiet. The rooms are small, but originally furnished. The riad feels like it has been abandoned to the effects of nature and time, it is quite shabby, the paint on the terrace is peeling, it feels a bit neglected, but if you accept that as part of the atmosphere, you will be satisfied. Breakfast is served on the terrace, it is rich and is one of the few served with freshly squeezed orange juice! Expect huge humidity in the room, in the end of October we had completely wet windows from the inside in the morning and damp clothes. But all this dries up during a walk through what is probably the most beautiful medina in Morocco.

L'emplacement dans le centre ville vieille ville avec des rues animées, des souks, accessibles qu' à pieds, mais le taxi nous a déposé à l'entrée de la médina il y a pleins de porteurs à charrette, le chauffeur du taxi nous en a appelé un pour nous conduire avec nos bagages dans une toute petite rue, au début ça surprend mais franchement cet expérience a été très sympa. À minuit tout est calme ! Les petits déjeuner sont copieux et servis sur la terrasse. Ce n'est pas le grand luxe mais pour 2 nuits c'est suffisant.

Cons: Les photos présentées dans l'annonce ne correspondent pas a ce que nous avons trouvé sur place. L'état général est vétusté et délabré. Il a fallu râler pour que la douche et une prise électrique soient réparés, radiateur et porte délabré, rideaux dans un piteux États, toit terrasse délabré aussi. Gros regrets d avoir loué ce riad, nous avons quitté les lieux deux jours avant la fin pour finir notre séjour d une semaine sur une bonne note.

Powiem szczerze, że po przeczytaniu opinii, zaczęłam szukać innego noclegu. Ostatecznie dotarliśmy tutaj i…jesteśmy zachwyceni. Owszem, nie jest to najnowszy budynek, ale było czysto, codziennie sprzątane, przytulnie i fantastyczna lokalizacja. A jeśli ktoś narzeka, że jest za głośno za oknem, to niech nie wybiera noclegu w samym centrum mediny.

Smaczne śniadania i lokalizacja, to na plus. Poza tym żałuję, że nie wybrałam droższej opcji. Zanim napiszę, co mi się nie podobało, zauważmy, że to budżetowy Riad, dodaj do tego marokański standard i wyjdzie, że nie być może za te pieniądze nie da się inaczej. Czy było czysto? Na pewno pani sprzątała, ale sam Riad to ruina, więc niewiele mogła. Ręczniki czyste, pościel czysta. W łazience kamień, zepsuta spłuczka (używaliśmy do spłukiwania wody z prysznica). Roof top tragiczny, stoliki pomysłowo zbite z palet i pomalowane (to fajne), ale kanapy, na których się siadało nasiąkały wodą o poranku. Takli klimat, ale już rozszarpany skaj na siedzisku mogliby przykryć jakąś narzutą. Bardzo to raziło. Klucz nie chciał się dać wyjąć z zamka, na szczęście mąż nasmarował olejkiem arganowym (tak!) z braku WD40, wiadomo, więc poszło. Pani z obsługi miała kamienną twarz, ani razu się nie uśmiechnęła. Ale była chłodna i profesjonalna, co samo w sobie nie może być zarzutem. Myślę, że jest przepracowana. Sama jedna do sprzątania, podawania śniadań, zmywania i obsługi recepcji (z doskoku, kiedy nie było tej właściwej pani recepcjonistki). Na minus wilgoć, zapach stęchlizny, co może być typowe dla budynków Mediny przy Oceanie, więc nie wiem, czy to problem tego Riadu, czy standard. Okno pokoju wychodziło na schody, nie na dziedziniec więc było ciemno non stop. Na plus stoliczki nocne, lampki, czysta pościel i ręczniki. No i wspomniane śniadanka. Na minus jeszcze hałas, zabawa do późnych godzin nocnych (parter), bez zatyczek nie sposób zasnąć. Jest mi przykro, że to piszę, bo pani bardzo się starła i wiem, że więcej w pojedynkę nie zdziała. Przydałby się mały remont. Zdecydowanie odradzam. Przy czym podkreślę jeszcze raz, cena jest bardzo niska, więc trudno oczekiwać super jakości. No ale ta rozszarpana kanapa na dachu… No nie.

Cons: Depuis de nombreuses années nous allons au riad du grand large, Depuis des années nous signalons le manque d'entretien de ce bel édifice, nous en sommes arrivés à un point de non retour, en tous cas pour nous. Petit déjeuner répétitif et d'une qualité médiocre, beaucoup de pain avec beurre et confiture. Rouille présente dans tout l'établissement. Rideaux non occultant qui laissent la lumière passer en pleine nuit. WC non fonctionnel, on a dû mettre en place un dispositif de fortune. Le dernier soir, le flexible de la douche nous est resté en main. Tous les robinets fuient...tout tombe en décrépitude malheureusement.

Las chicas han sido muy amables durante toda nuestra estancia. Ubicación ideal en la medina y el desayuno no está mal.

Cons: Las fotos no reflejan en absoluto el estado del riad. Todas las instalaciones están bastante descuidadas, desde la entrada y el recibidor hasta la terraza donde se sirve el desayuno. Hay un olor a humedad constante que obliga a tener la ventana abierta si se quiere respirar algo de aire fresco, por suerte nuestra habitación no daba a la calle principal. Toda la ropa que dejábamos fuera de la maleta acababa húmeda y era bastante incómodo sobre todo con la ropa de cama. El colchón tenía agujeros, las almohadas eran muy incómodas y no nos han cambiado las sábanas en las 7 noches que hemos estado. El baño tiene moho en las paredes y en la cortina y había hormigas por el suelo. La terraza superior no se parece a las fotos ni por asomo. Las mesas están en muy mal estado y los sofás están húmedos constantemente y se ve que no se han limpiado en mucho tiempo. Pese a la buena atención por parte de las chicas, esperábamos algo más con un 7'9 de puntuación que tiene en la aplicación. Definitivamente, es un sitio al que no me gustaría volver.

We spent an amazing time in Essaouira, we fell in love with the city, the medina and the slow pace of everything. Thd hotel was in the heart of the medina, 5min walk to the beach, the room was very clean and the whole facility although an old building is very well maintained. You can hear everything, all the vibrant sounds of shop keepers, shoppers roaming around the alleyways of the medina. We truly appreciated the proximity to everything even the bus station CTM is a 4min drive by taxi and costs 8dhs.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. It was amazing.

Cons: This used to be a very nice hotel, but it got neglected. Why does the owner not maintain his property?? It would not take a lot of effort or expense and this could be a great hotel, but as it is, I will not be staying again. An example is the breakfast on the rooftop. The breakfast itself is only just acceptable, cooked by the cleaning staff, but there are only two proper tables and chairs/ benches to sit on. If these are taken, you are expected to sit on filthy, damp seat cushions that have never been cleaned and eat off dirty pallets serving for tables. See picture. Not really acceptable at all!!

Cons: Compared to other riads we stayed at in the past years, this one was very basic. We chose it because the breakfast was included but the breakfast was ok but nothing special. Fresh orange juice, hot drink, an egg and “petit pain” from a shop. No home made msemen or home made bread for example. The room was basic, beds were ok but not really comfortable. In the bathroom, nothing to hang the towels to for example. The bedsheets were clean. The room itself and bathroom seemed to have been cleaned superficially only.

El Riad está en una zona dentro de la Medina muy a mano de todo lo principal que visitar, las camas cómodas y la ropa de cama muy limpia, en general limpió pero necesita bastante mantenimiento , dejadez y faltan detalles como perchas de pared, donde poner las maletas, el baño falta de luz con una bombilla muy pobre, y sobre todo que se ve la decadencia de no pintarlo y cuidarlo en mucho tiempo, pues el Riad es muy bonito, tiene una azotea/terraza amplia y agradable donde sirven un fabuloso desayuno y las chicas son amables., si estuviera más cuidado y con más detalles en las habitaciones sería fabuloso.

Cons: Nous avons un peu attendu avant l'ouverture de la porte d'entrée avec nos bagages dans la ruelle en nous demandant s'il y avait bien quelqu'un (petite angoisse très vite dissipée, puisque nous avons pu entrer au bout de 5 mn). C'était un peu notre faute car je pense que nous nous sommes présentés avant l'heure indiquée. Mais nous voulions poser nos bagages. Cette petite mauvaise impression s'est bien atténuée ensuite !

La ubicación del Riad es excepcional, muy céntrico. La mujer que lo regentaba era muy amable y servicial pero no pudimos comunicarnos mucho con ella porque nosotras no hablamos francés. Cons: I recently stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed with the condition of the room. The toilet was not properly cleaned, and there was an orange stain under the basin, which looked quite unhygienic. Even worse, water was leaking from the basin, which made the bathroom floor constantly wet. I reported this issue to the receptionist, but unfortunately, no action was taken during my stay. The lamp in the room was extremely old and rusted, and the curtains were ripped and looked neglected. It’s clear that the room needs proper repairs and maintenance. On a positive note, the location was convenient, and the breakfast was quite good. However, the overall experience was let down by the poor condition of the room and the lack of response from staff. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously for future guests.

Die Lage des Hotels hat uns sehr gut gefallen – es befindet sich zentral und ist gut erreichbar. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war insgesamt stimmig. Das Frühstück wurde frisch zubereitet und war in Ordnung. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal.

Nos ha gustado mucho el alojamiento, tiene mucho encanto. Habitaciones espaciosas y el personal ha sido súper amable y servicial. El Riad está en plena Medina, rodeado de muchas opciones de restaurantes, cafeterías y tiendas; también muy cerca de la playa y el puerto. Es cierto que por las noches había bastante ruido procedente de la calle pero, contábamos con ello (es lo que tiene alojarse en plena Medina). El desayuno incluido en el precio, bien y contundente. Volveríamos sin duda.

La ubicación es perfecta al lado de una de las calles comerciales de la medina de Essaouria. Calle iluminada, con tiendas y gente. Even op moeten wachten, maar een heel lekker ontbijt gekregen. Driepersoonskamer was zoals verwacht, basic en goed! Proper beddengoed. Goeie douche, lekker warm water. We waren wat vroeger toegekomen dan de check-in tijd, maar we mochten onze bagage al binnenzetten in de lobby. Dankjewel! Heel goed internet op de kamer.

Très bien situé au cœur de la médina, dans le souk ( mais forcément il ne faut pas s'attendre au silence en soiree)

Cons: Si vous cherchez un établissement cocooning avec du caché, vous serez déçu. Notre chambre était petite et basique comme la salle de bain). Le petit déjeuner est servi sur le toit mais qui n'est pas non plus aménagé de façon confortable (pas abrité notamment). D'ailleurs on se demande où est servi le pdj en cas de mauvais temps car il n'y a pas vraiment d'autre endroit. Le pdj est copieux mais continental ( oeuf, pain grillé, pain chocolat, jus d'orange, café ou thé) et surtout une seule personne pour préparer et servir donc pas mal d'attente. On est plus sur un accueil impersonnel d'hôtel que de riad mais globalement le tarif étant peu élevé, il est logique de ne pas s'attendre à des prestations haut de gamme.

Il faut savoir que 300m de la mer veut aussi dire que pour y arriver, il faut traverser des ruelles étroites et la vue n’est pas du tout là. Nous avons pris la chambre de la terrasse, du coup il faut être super sportif avec les escaliers très droits et parfois déformés. Prise dans la salle de bain qui ne fonctionne pas et celle de la chambre a laissé mon téléphone sans charge. Celle situé dans la terrasse est carrément arrachée du mur donc avec les fils en contact direct avec la pluie. J’espère juste qu’elle ne fonctionne pas, celle ci !!! Des toiles d’araignées dans la salle de bain. Une penderie à la vas vite et qui sent le renfermé. Il a plu 2 fois et le mobilier (matelas) de la terrasse où l’on prend le petit déjeuner était mouillé alors qu’il existe une pièce qui pourrait être dédiée pour les protéger. Nous avons dû nous munir de nos serviettes pour s’assoir et avant ça, j’ai voulu d’abord essuyer le matelas et mon mouchoir blanc est devenu brun par la saleté. Petit déjeuner est pas mal mais sans plus avec une durée d’attente assez longue.

Ich bin immer wieder sehr gern dort, im Zimmer auf der Dachterrasse und genieße die Sonne, die Ruhe und die Freundlichkeit des Personals und das reichhaltige Frühstück, mit Kaffee oder Tee zur Auswahl, Baguette, Butter im Schälchen (worauf die Möwen lauern, aufgepasst..😃), Spiegelei, verschiedene Marmeladen und frisch gepresstem Orangensaft. Das Riad ist zentral gelegen, inmitten der Medina, aber dennoch ruhig, nachts und tagsüber. Vielen Dank für alles und sonnige Grüße aus Westdeutschland! 🙏🍀😸

The basin in the bathroom had debris left by the taps, and it was really off-putting. The shower floor was very rough. The worst things was the raving drunks on the street outside at night - kept me from sleeping. To top it all, one of the drunks continued his raving the following morning at 6.15am and woke me up. I'm sorry to say I will not go there again.

Cons: Bonjour , nous venons vers vous car nous allons quitter votre établissement, celui ci ne reflète pas du tout ce qui est noté sur Booking ( nous allons leur en faire part via e-mail avec photos témoins ) ainsi que sur les avis Google et TripAdvisor. Nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude, pas de pression, pas de savon, pas de tapis de bain, pas d'eau à boire, les toilettes sont insalubres, la chambre, la literie de très mauvaise qualité, les serviettes de bain propres mais tachées, pas de double vitrage, le riad n'est pas du tout entretenu, à prix égal on aurait trouvé bien mieux! Nous vous demandons le remboursement intégral de notre séjour car nous avons du trouver ailleurs ! ( Mail adressé au Riad, sans la moindre réponse de leur part )

Comfy bed, only 1 pillow each. Simple furnishings, good shower. Our room, reasonable size, opened onto communal terrace and was warmed during the day by the sun ( evenings were cool). At this time of year the terrace was quiet in the evening.Towels washed every day if required. Very simple rooms but excellent value. Right in the middle of the shopping streets of the medina.

Cons: The terrace had washing draped everywhere all day. The sheets were too small for our bed, very annoying. Needed a bath mat by the shower. Could have done with a couple of hand towels. (It occurred to us that in warmer weather this top bedroom might be noisy in the evenings with people gathering, and the room would get hot as no a/c.)

Die Lage war sehr gut mitten in der Medina von Essauoira.

Cons: Parken ausserhalb der Medina ist nich so einfach. Die Unterkunft ist nicht ausgeschildert, auch ist von aussen das Raid kaum zu erkennen. Der Mitarbeiter der sich um die Zahlung kümmerte sagte wir sollen vor abreise zahlen, in der Letzten Nacht wurde dann versucht via Booking eine Beschwerde zu starten und das Geld auf diesem Wg einzuziehen, Mehrfach. Man konnte mir auch keine nachvollziehbare antwort geben was das werden sollte als ich am Tag drauf in Teilen BAR Zahlen musste obwohl KArtenzahlung vereinbart war. Die Zahlung wurde auch nicht Quittiert, ich vermute dies wurde getan um Steuern zu sparen. Für mich hat sich durch diese Art und den Schlechteren Wechselkurs die Unterkunft um knappe 10€ gesamt verteuert. Außerdem Waren die Betten Extrem unbequem, unser Bettgestell war kleiner als die Matratze und somit ist man immer halgb aus dem Bett gefallen. Das Riad ist extrem Hellhörig und unser Zimmer hatte ein Fenster das einfachverglast auf die INNENTREPPE gebaut ist, somit wird man auch mitten in der Nacht und Früh morgens von anderen Gästen belästigt, da auch die Vorhänge durchsichtig sind und man von der Treppe aus, gerade wenn Nachts licht im zimmer an ist, auf das Bett schauen kann.

The hotel is very interesting as architecture. It is an old beautiful building. The room was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom. The room had an electric heater so despite the cold night the room was pleasant.

Cons: The lady who prepared and served breakfast was clearly sick. She had a runny nose and a cough. Unfortunately, two days later I had similar symptoms and I was sick for two weeks. Unfortunately, even though I saw the symptoms in the lady, I ate breakfast and that was my mistake.

Bon emplacement du riad dans la medina.

Cons: Nous avions choisi la chambre sur le rooftop qui est un cadeau empoisonné. Nous avons été réveillés deux fois pendant la nuit lors de notre séjour car les gens venaient parler et rigoler en plein milieu de la nuit et nous entendions tout car la porte de la chambre n'est pas du tout insonorisée. La deuxième nuit je suis sortie de la chambre pour demander à une fille qui parlait au téléphone à 3h du matin de parler moins fort (ce qu'elle a fait pendant 10 minutes et qu'elle a arrêté de faire le reste de l'heure...). Résultat sur les deux nuits passées, nous avons été réveillées les deux nuits vers 3h du matin et pendant un long moment. L'accès à la terrasse devrait être restreint à partir de 22-23h par respect pour les autres clients sinon l'établissement fait plus penser à une auberge de jeunesse qu'un riad car le calme nous a manqué. Du gel douche aurait été apprécié.

Die Zimmer waren sorgfältig und bequem eingerichtet. Insbesondere das Bad war geräumig und die Dusche für Ryad-Verhältnisse außergewöhnlich intelligent eingebaut. Das Frühstück wurde frisch gemacht und auf der Dachterasse serviert. Die Lage in der Medina war sehr zentral. Beim ersten Mal war das Ryad etwas schwer zu finden; aber danach ganz leicht.

La localisation de l'établissement, au centre de la medina.

Cons: L'établissement semble manquer d'entretien et les installations sont vétustes au niveau des chambres et des salles de bain. Les chambres sont très mal isolées dont on entend tout le bruit de la rue. Le petit déjeuner est aussi très limité. Les installations de la terrasse pour le petit déjeuner ne sont pas adaptées pour recevoir des invités (manque de confort).

Le charme de ce petit Riad avec sa très belle petite terrasse. Et le personnel très accueillant.

Cons: La robinetterie beaucoup trop vielle. Et malheureusement étant au bord des allées de la médina des doubles vitrages n’auraient pas été un luxe. On entendait tous les passants et vendeurs comme s’ils étaient dans la chambre. Il vaut mieux choisir une chambre qui ne donne pas sur le côté passant de la médina.

La localisation. Le personnel est agréable.

Cons: Nous n'avons pas dormi de la nuit à cause du bruit extérieur, même en ayant fermé la fenêtre. Notre chambre était côté rue et on a entendu parler des personnes alcoolisées à l'extérieur pendant toute la nuit. Mon mari est descendu en pleine nuit à la réception pour faire intervenir quelqu'un mais il n'y avait personne. Impossible de dormir !

J'ai apprécié le côté géographique, très bien placé, en pleine médina tout à proximité et facilement accessible.

Cons: Alors la literie pas terrible au niveau du matelas particulier. Dommage que la terrasse où l'on prend les petits déjeuners soit un peu vétuste et pas entretenue. De plus, elle ne correspond pas aux photos sur le site...

Cons: Il nous a été difficile de trouver le riad malgré avoir activé google maps. Pas facile d'acces avec 2 enfants en bas-age. Il y a minimum 5 min de marche dans la medina pour accéder au riad.

Sauberes zimmer. Nettes personal. Durfte mein Gepäck früher abstellen und dort lassen bis mein Bus kam bei abreise. War auch kein problem dort zu kochen ;) direkt in der Fußgängerzone. Würde widerkommen ! Weiterempfehlung!

Cons: Man muss die Touristenpauschale vor ort zahlen, das wusste ich nicht, war jetzt aber nicht tragisch
