Lovely little Riad in the south of the Kasbah away from the madness. I was in town for 2 nights and if you’re looking for a place to hang your hat whilst exploring the city where you can escape the bustle of the souks and city centre this place is great. 20 min walk from the centre or a short cab ride. Staff are wonderful-Zac looked after me very well and the Moroccan breakfast was beautiful!

The property was a great experience of staying in a Riad. Very clean and comfortable to relax after a tiring day. The foods in the restaurant were luscious too. Places you want to see like, the Bahia palace, El badi palace, Koutobia mosque, the market and many others are just walking distance but be prepared to get lost though with so many narrow streets it confuse anyone asking for direction. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. Kaoutar and Yahyah looked after us very well. They went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one.

Very nice hotel, room cleaned daily and breakfast served every day was nice. Room was spacious and clean. Bad points, mattress was rock solid. I read they replaced them all recently but they were not comfortable at all, need a massage after lying in them. Hotel offered pickup from airport, I accepted and then the next day realised I had already booked transfers so messaged and asked to cancel, got no response back so my fault for not following up on it, this was 2 weeks in advance of the arrival. Turn up to the airport and there’s a guy holding up my name on a sign, which my transfer said they would do, got in and then was told it was the hotel transfer, which is extortionate. €20 for a “luxury” (Skoda) 4km journey is excessive. Pool in the hotel was dirty, not clean like the photos suggest. Cats fighting all night inside the court yard, hours of wailing and screaming. Most things are outside the hotels control. It’s a great price for the location and size of room. Morocco just wasn’t my thing and maybe clouding my review slightly.

The property is beautiful and our first host and breakfast host were very kind and helpful … We on 2 occasions returned on a very hot day to get drinks to be told the bar was shut… from that day onwards our service in the restaurant/bar area was very slow and both uncomfortable and not a pleasant experience with the chef blaring music on his phone !! Such a shame as our first day and the hotel were perfect

We loved our stay here. The Riad was a lovely haven after the busy streets of central Marrakech. We liked the location and particularly the Rue du Kasbah. Central Marrakech was walkable but it was also easy to pick up a taxi if we needed to. The restaurant was excellent.

Weekend trip away with the wife, the booking did say all-inclusive but that was just breakfast ? Very friendly and attentive staff, especially the new lady on reception. Food in the restaurant was good but took a long time and didn't come with chips that we requested. Breakfast is good, different selection every day but you don't get a choice. On our final evening we requested a complete breakdown of what we owed but they were unable to work it out so in the morning when our taxi was due we were asked to pay 700 in local money that we didn't have, no card payment option ? This meant that we had to pay in pounds and euros which on reflection worked out nearly double to what would be in the local currency, put a sad end to a wonderful stay.

We loved this hotel. It is beautiful, the staff and the service were wonderful, they were spoiling us since the moment we got in until the moment we left. There is a restaurant/bar on the roof and the food and service was great. My husband and I enjoyed a session of spa (Hammam and relaxing massage) and we enjoyed it very much. The owner is in constant communication with us though WhatsApp, making sure we get everything we need, tours and recommendations included. We would definitely go back

We had a warm greeting, Mariam and Marwan were incredibly hospitable. The room was adorable and we ate dinner that night on the roof, delicious. We left super early the next the morning but the young clerk ( didn’t catch his name) took such good care of us. He brought down our luggage, prepared a light breakfast and walked us to the pick up spot for the safari. I mean who even does that????? The only negatives were we booked a massage and scrub at the riad and it was sooooooo cold it was not enjoyable, I asked about heat in room and they said yes but there wasn’t,nor in the shower ( outside temp was cold- high 50s, also we didn’t know there was heat in the room and so we were chilly all night (I guess that’s on us- didn’t ask but couldn’t find a thermostat. Would still recommend - ask how to heat room and don’t get massage in winter.

Absolutely loved our stay. The riad is close by to the mosque so its easy to fins your way back even if you have a bad sense of orientation. Its in the middle of the medina ao you can visit loads and not even have to get a taxi to go visit places in Morocco The breakfast is AMAZING and the staff were wonderful, so polite and so accommodating. They speak both English and French. They arranged for taxi collection from airport which made it a lot hastle free. The riad itself is beautiful, we were lucky with the weather as it was sunny all week at the begining of december. They have a lovely terrace which we used to sunbave on our off days. You can see the Atlas mountains in the distance. There is a pool downsyairs near the lobby area but i was not brave enough to use it as its very open to the rest of the riad. The room is nice and spacious, bathroom on suite was brill, my partner is very tall (6'5) and was happy with the height of it as usually that is a problem, but here it was great. Honestly 10 out of 10, great place and very good value for money.

I don’t know where to start because this place was beyond amazing. Let me start with the staff. They were soooooooooooooooooooo nice and welcoming. No matter what I needed they had it and went the extra mile. The location was great. Everything was walking distance and very safe. The food at the riad was delicious. Breakfast and dinner! I regretted not eating there more because even their salad was delicious. The Royal salad that is. And they served tea almost everyday and they had the best tea in Marrakech in my opinion. The bed was comfortable and they had hot water. I really enjoyed my time in Marrakech and Riad Daria made it worth while. I plan on coming back and if I do I’m booking them again. Oh before I go please try their spa. It’s an amazing experience.

This is definitely one of the most beautiful and favorite riads in Marrakech, showcasing stunning Andalusian architecture. We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful Riad- we loved the original features of the property- the woodwork, decorative stonework was stunning. The decor was authentic and very welcoming and comfortable. We had all the facilties we needed and it was great o relax in the pool when it was too hot to go out. The staff were amazing and looked after us very well. If we needed anything rhey were always there to help and provided the best service. The managers Mariam and Marwaan were brilliant as well as Ali who served us with a wonderful breakfast every morning on the patio area outside our room. He would cater for our needs and even provide us with an earlier breakfast if needed. Overall we had a great experience at the Riad and the location was perfect as it was in walkable distance to many historical places of interest and the square near the mosque were we would sit mist evenings after having been out or returning from the souks. Just near the Riad there were many wonderful food shops and juice bars - we would highly recommended eating from around the Riad as it was great value for money especially the places with their own barbecue style cookers. My husband tried one of the local barbers and had a wonderful experience there. There are ample places to buy souvenirs too- basically everywhere you need is on your doorstep literally at this Riad in the Kasabah. A highly recommended place to stay indeed. Thankyou to all the staff at the Riad Daria for making our stay memorable.

Good place for the price, the AC did not work in our first room so we had to change rooms. The ac did work in the second room, but still would not get colder then 25 c° inside. In the second room the drain was 95% clogged in the shower. But was not a huge deal for us. Great breakfast and nice staff. Would stay again.

Beautiful property and rooms. Peaceful courtyard and terraces with plenty of books to sit and read. Sunny spots to enjoy a decadent breakfast. Friendly, welcoming staff who are always available to help. Quieter location in the Kasbah near Cafe Clock.
Cons: Occasionally a bit noisy in the courtyard but we were on the ground floor and I think that is unavoidable entirely in Riad’s. They do operate quiet times between 10pm and 8am though so we always had very peaceful sleeps!

Absolutely delighted with our experience! From the impeccable breakfast to the outstanding service provided by the staff, our stay was nothing short of perfect. A special shout-out to Issam, whose exceptional care and thoughtful arrangements for various activities added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit. The culinary experience at the restaurant surpassed our expectations, offering a delectable array of dishes and good attention to detail. In summary, everything about our stay, from the delightful breakfast to the exceptional service, and the delightful dining experience at the restaurant, was nothing short of exceptional. Our expectations were not only met but exceeded, making our time here truly memorable. Highly recommended!
Cons: The only aspect that fell short of our otherwise outstanding experience was the denial of our request for a late check-out. Despite the room's availability at the time of our departure, unfortunately, our request was declined. This minor setback was a bit disappointing, as we were hoping for a bit more flexibility in this regard. Nevertheless, it didn't overshadow the overall positive impression we had of our stay. Perhaps in the future, a more accommodating approach to such requests could enhance the overall guest experience.

The Riad Daria Suites & Spa is a charming property boasting traditional but elegant Moroccan architecture. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The Rooftop restaurant, Eclipse served delicious food both Moroccan and French cuisine.
Cons: The Riad is located in the Medina which is not suitable for walking in the evening as a solo female. There was not much to do in terms of entertainment at the Riad. This is nothing the Riad can control so I do not fault them on this. A couple of the staff did take some time to chat with me while I waited for my dinner. The Riad would be lovely for a couple's trip.

A very charming and beautiful riad, Riad Diara represents the spirit of a boutique hotel. The localization is convenient, and the breakfast buffet is lovely and generous (unfortunately, we wasted some food); The rooms are clean and comfortable. And they were flexible for check-in/out. The staff is very professional and efficient. The bathroom would benefit from some white light, as our room was on the ground floor, and the shade that keeps the room cool during a heatwave is not ideal for makeup prep. And thanks to the location, after meeting some friends at Cafe Clock and losing track of time, it was easy to jump into a cab to go to the airport (15 minutes drive) for only 80 MAD.

Well located to visit all the main sites through walking or taxi (we walked 99% of the time). The location and ambiance is perfect as it’s on a narrow and hence quiet street. Rooms cool, air conditioned and typically road style with central courtyard. My only caveat is that if you are driving yourself as we did DO NOT follow any mapping app as they will accurately take you there, but you can’t park there and you’ll be driving down some very crowded streets in the old town. Instead, there is a large parking area about 4 blocks away. My advice if you are driving is to call the hotel in advance and ask about the parking area so you can avoid this aspect of staying there.

- Location is unbeatable, and there is a big and secured car park 4 mins walk away. - The place itself is a proper beautiful Riad, and the suite i had was lovely and comfy. - Very quiet despite being 15 mins walk away from the busy Jamaa El Fna. - The staff is awesome, very kind and helpful, always at your service. - Cleanliness top-class. - I didn taste the lunch and dinner there but i was seeing the restaurant at the top busy but tells a lot. - Facilities are great, traditional shower working file with good water pressure and AC working properly. - Good wifi.
Cons: - Price is a bit excessive for what it is in general. I think it can be adjusted slightly. - Surprisingly i would say breakfast was good but could definitely be improved with more fresh cakes and brioche which was a bit stale in my opinion.

Our stay in the Riad Daria exceeded our expectations. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, so accommodating and helpful. The riad itself was gorgeous and quiet which was a nice break from the crazy busy city! Yousef at breakfast was so kind and was always there to provide us with what we needed. We took advantage of the spa which was fabulous, Nabia did the most fabulous Hamman. We would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully be returning one day!

I Highly recommend Riad Daria! The location is perfect, close to Medina, super clean and beautiful place! Staff is super friendly and helpful and welcoming since you arrive there! They welcome you with tea and cookies, they also picked me up from the airport (upon request). This Riad was the perfect place to stay, it was my first time in Marrakech and I didn’t know what to expect, but definitely the staff made it easy for me, answering questions and they even printed my plane ticket before leaving! Wonderful service and I would definitely stay there again and again! Thank you soooo much for everything!!! The best for you all!

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Daria - an Oasis in the madness of Marrakesh. Located in the Kasbah, it is a bit further to walk to the sites and main square, but worth it for the peace and quiet in the Riad Younes and his team looked after us extremely well and my birthday was complete with a relaxing massage by Niamah. Our thanks to everyone working at the Riad Daria.
Cons: It was all good.

Our stay at the RIAD DARIA Suites & Spa has been overwhelmingly good. Very nice hotel situated in an old traditionell town palace. The entire team, Yonnes (1&2), Badr and many more have made our stay very comfortable and friendly. We can highly recommend this nice place in walking distance to the Medina and hope to return soon.

This is a beautiful riad! Nice location, not too far from the centre of the Medína, but still quiet and nice. Younes and all of the staff made the stay pleasant and nice! The hammam and massage here is also amazing. Highly recommend this nice affordable riad with great service and staff!

The staff were very cooperative, the roof Resturant menu & quality of food was really good & the chief is dedicated. The tour guy Khalid was very informative & communicative.
Cons: The tours that were arranged by the hotel were really overpriced. They were triple the value of the tours that we had in Tangier. In the dressing room in my suite there was major molds in the ceiling & the owner didn’t know about it till I brought it to his attention. The location is far away from the madina center & I felt it’s not too safe to walk alone.

We had a great a stay at the Riad Daria. Everyone was hospitable, very welcoming, nice and friendly. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home. Breakfast was nice and was they had something different to offer every day. The Riad is maintained very well, and location wise, it is about at 15 min walk into the main square. There were also many local shops and food places 5 mins down the main street.

The is a wonderful property! The staff are amazing attending to your every need. The roof top restaurant was very good and a welcome change after eating nothing but Tajine and couscous for 15 days. They serve delicious french food in addition to the Moroccan favs. If you are looking to stay inside the Medina you will likely crave a place to get away from the chaos, the dust snd the smells of everyday life there. This is the place!

Amazing building with superb historic features. pleasant spaces for relaxing and breakfast.
Cons: The food from the on-site restaurant was expensive and very poor. Starters were bad- but just about edible, main (beef tagine) was no better than acceptable and dessert looked like dog v***t. We had booked the restaurant for convenience on our first night- big mistake and a very disappointing start to our holiday!

Everything was perfect from the first moment we got in the Riad to the end. We tried the hammam for the first time and it was very nice with Neima, and the restaurant is fabulous, with the dishes prepared seamlessly by the Chef Fouad. The Reception team was always available in every moment and in every request. Thank you Hassan! But a special mention goes to Abdel whose genuineness and authenticity made us travel PERFECT!!!

Excellent welcome. We were offered tea and biscuits on arrival. They showed us around the riad and explained the facilities offered. The wellness spa is an added bonus. We had a private hammam and massage session which was very relaxing. Abdul, one of the staff members was accommodating and polite. He prepared our breakfast and we didn't have to wait long. He also prepared us hot water when we requested one for one
Cons: Nothing. Excellent service.

Riad Daria is a truly beautiful property. The original tile work, carved plaster detailing and original 17th century woodwork and doors was amazing. It was like staying in a museum. I probably spent an hour just looking at the detailing and soaking in this gem of a Riad. Ibrahim was a very helpful and kind host and provided anything we lacked including walking us out to the street to hail a cab for the airport. We also enjoyed the spa, our family of 5 has never been cleaner after being scrubbed and steamed in the hammam on site.
Cons: We did not eat in the restaurant so I can't comment on that. The courtyard and lounges and second level balconies were very nice but due to the wide open nature of the building, there was not a large roof top space to relax in as some other places we saw (there was a small couch corner). Some might not like this but for us it was not an issue.

Exceptionally courteous and helpful people in Riad Daria , in particular Ibrahim and Abdul , and Said El Mastor , who looked after our transport in Marrakesh . The breakfast served each morning was delightful. We enjoyed delicious yogurt, fresh fruits, freshly squeezed orange juice , and eggs on request . The breakfast dining area is located on two floors of this beautifully appointed Riad .

Wow what a beautiful place . From our first day we were made so very welcome by Ibrahim and all of the other staff , nothing was too much for them . The hotel is so interesting and comfortable too , very clean . So interesting to find out the history of the building too . We eat breakfast each morning which we really enjoyed , a great start to each day . I couldn’t recommend this Riad more . I would definitely go back again if I ever find myself in Marrakesh. Many thanks to everyone for making my holiday so special

I really appreciated the hospitality above all else. The front desk gentleman not only let us check in early but also offered us coffee / tea while we waited for the cleaning to be completed. I will say, the room was a bit narrow but overall, we really enjoyed our stay. I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much during peak season cuz I liked the calm atmosphere better! The building & accents of all the rooms & atrium were so beautiful. I really felt like we were sitting in history!
Cons: I can’t say I didn’t “like” anything but so others know this. There’s no elevator so if you have issues climbing lots of stairs you might have a problem. My mother in law had to climb to the very top for her massage & I got the first floor room for her specifically since she has issues with her legs. With that being said, she really enjoyed her massage & this is an old city, not shocking that there isn’t much modern things available there. So not docking any points for that or the parking being so far either.

Such a lovely place to stay. A really beautiful building with a wonderful, peaceful courtyard at it's centre. It really exceeded all our expectations. Great staff who were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We had a lovely warm welcome from the owner who is very friendly and organised a wonderful hammam for us at the on-site spa. The breakfast was great too and enjoying it each morning in the sunny courtyard was one of the best parts of our trip! Being located in the Kasbah meant it was a nice and peaceful place to stay away from the more hectic areas of the medina. Can't recommend it highly enough!

This is my 1st visit to a Riad and it completely exceeded my expectations. The Riad is set in a nice quiet location (Kasbah neighbourhood) with easy access to local market. All the staff were super friendly, kind and most helpful ... Nothing was a problem for them to organise or sort out, even had a room upgrade (for free) when our air conditioner broke. Breakfast is excellent, dinner at the roof top restaurant (The Eclipse) is deliciously prepared and if you enjoy good food with nice views, this is the place for it. The Riad also has spa treatment. Knowing what I now know, I would have (recommend) a spa on arrival and another at the end of holiday. Overall, it was a great experience and we will visit again. Special thanks to Brahim, Rachid, Sadiq & Fatima.
Cons: Errrr ..... sorry, but I'm struggling as there was nothing NOT to like.

Ok this is a historical property amazing decorated and traditional in the medina beautiful courtyard amazing mosaics in room but no modern things like tv in room gym or things like that so u know. The food not great u have better choices Outside of course it is marraketch!!! Staff really helpful and super nice but anything u like must be cash which is not acceptable credit cards are required !!! I am amex platinum hilton gold holiday spire elite and highest level in Marriott be here without issues it is safe for families and well kept it belonged before to moroccan royal family!!! I love it but lack of credit card pissed me off honestly i lost my points. No air conditioning just open windows heater inside next to bed nice experience i might be back but if u expecting amenities then u will hate this place so it is not ur cup of tea remember it is a historic location thus nothing modern and it is truly beautiful . For couples remember everything is heard keep that in mind :)

The roof top terrace was lovely and the breakfast great. Fantastic that they had heaters for the winter - because other places didn’t and it gets very chilly. Some rooms are nicer and better kept than others - not sure ours was their finest. There was an interconnecting door with the room next door which nobody mentioned until the guest next door was rattling it, trying to figure out where it led to! I wish the airport transfer price was more reasonable... the airport is not far so it felt like we were being ripped off. Overall, it’s a nice place, lots of seating areas to relax if you want to. They offered to serve beer or wine which was a nice option. And the area near BabbAgnou is lively.

Simply put, this was the best hotel experience of my life. I've traveled to a number of countries on five continents, and I've never been taken care of like I was at Riad Daria. The manager, Sobha, is a total rock star. She anticipates every need before you can mention it. Her attention to detail is superb, as is the case with every staff member. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed. We very much enjoyed mint tea in the homey reception salon, copious breakfasts in the gorgeous courtyard, postcard writing in the common room, starry evenings on the rooftop, and personal cooking classes and massages on-site. The Riad Daria is in a quiet neighborhood, just a 10-12 minute walk from the main square. There are several very lovely restaurants and cafes close, the Clock Cafe being a highlight. This is the perfect hotel for any traveler looking for luxury, respite, or both.

The Riad was great from the staff to location to decor. It gave us the best of Marrakech to stay in an area which is fairly busy with locals, but is so peaceful and tranquil once you enter the Riad. It was great to sit under the orange trees and relax next to the fountain with some tea, and to have a candlelit dinner on the upstairs terrace with a beautiful Marrakech sky view. Location is very good. Its easy to walk to the main sites, about 10 minute walk from the Moulay Al Yazid mosque. Once you know your way around you can actually walk up to the main square in the centre of the city without a problem. We walked back between the alleyways at 11pm without any issues or safety concerns either. The locals are in full force including children simply enjoying the fresh air at night so the Riad was a great location.

Very Cozy house and close to alfana square. Very friendly stuff and helpful and provide a delicious food (BF is usually included with the booking and you might request lunch or dinner which is prepared by morrocan ladies). We tried Refeissa and marrakesh tangenah and was very delicious and the BF includes a verity of morrocan food. Very nice house decorated with a morrocan style and provide a home feeling and an excellent place for relaxation. The weather in july was hot and you might visit marrakesh and stay in this hotel on other timing. We stayed for two nights and I wish that I stayed for one more night. A close by Spa with a good prices and the reception can arrange the appointment for you. A small swimming pool in the middle of the house with a refreshing water. The house has 5 rooms and 2 sweets and you might request a room in the upper floor which has an AC. The rooms in the ground floor has no AC. a very nice place for a big family who could book the full house and enjoy the privacy. Also, you might visit the house and have a delicious morrocan food or arrange for yoga classes or other activities not necessarily to stay there. You might ask the reception for further details.
